Woman Attacks 7 People With Pepper Spray in Manhattan in What Police Say May Be a Hate Crime
By Mihir Zaveri, March 8, 2019

A woman attacked seven people with a substance like pepper spray in four places in Harlem and the Upper West Side on Friday, including two subway stations, in a series of attacks that were being investigated as possible hate crimes, the police said.

New York Times subscribers shakes head in disgust at another Trumpist running amok with Hate, turns page.

Detective George Tsourovakas, a police spokesman, said the woman was black and the seven victims were white. He declined to elaborate on the hate crime investigation.

By the way, how come it’s not a Trope that the election of Donald Trump unleashed an Epidemic of Hate Crimes by his supporters?

In more MAGA Land news:

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The Queens Center Mall erupted into chaos Friday afternoon after police say a rapper’s book signing spiraled out of control.

Authorities say Bronx-born rapper “A Boogie wit da Hoodie” – whose real name is Julius Dubose – was scheduled to appear inside the mall’s Puma store at 5:30 p.m.

Video posted to social media showed people getting into fist fights and looting stores, as sheer chaos broke out around 2:30 p.m.

“They grabbed the chairs and broke it on his head, the poor guy was bleeding,” witness Maria Moncada said. “It was bad.”

Police haven’t pinpointed why fights broke out …

Today's NY Post says NYC may be heading for bankruptcy. Seems that Bill deB has increased spending 32% in 5 years, added 33K people to the city payroll, and the top 1% pays 50% of the taxes. Many of them are leaving because of SALT.

  6. I have long noticed that the NYCPD are by far, the most honest PD in America when it comes to anti-white motivated crime. They make arrests, bring serious charges and call out the motivation regularly when these things happen. None of the typical stuff we get from most PD’s where official spokesman always emphasize it was NOT racially motivated when it appears to be by the suspect’s own statements.

I think we all understand why.

    , @Kratoklastes
The problem with noticing, is that you can't un-notice; also, noticing is a gateway to further noticing.

I'm loath to appeal to movie tropes, but we actually don't get to make the "red pill/blue pill" choice à la The Matrix; rather, people get red-pilled as a result of cumulative noticing (sometimes they notice a single thing that serves as a catalyst, but they have to already be 'primed' as a result of prior noticing).

On the red-pill/blue-pill thing: if we did get to consciously make the choice, any rational fully-informed individual would pick blue. Blue is the utility-maximising path, without a shred of doubt.

Also note that although Morpheus claims that the choice is irrevocable... however Cypher (Joe Pantoliano) is set to voluntarily return to the simulation before he is killed; he is promised he will not be aware of having been outside the simulation.

If that were possible (without a serious brain injury) IRL, I would grab at it in a fucking heartbeat.

Ignorance and bliss are compatible (although it's possible to be ignorant and unhappy, of course).

By stark contrast, it is not possible to be red-pilled and happy. Noticers are generally a fairly curmudgeonly bunch, and the more they notice, the less happy they are (other things remaining the same).

Knowledge of the irremediable corruption of the system Granger-causes significant and persistent dissatisfaction, as surely as having a burr in your sock.
  15. I dont know what voodoo magic the city is using to show subway crime stats are only up a little. The subway has become a hellhole since deblasio took over. I haven’t experienced any crime, but the number of homeless and panhandlers is through the roof. I often will have three panhandlers come in to the car im on on my 25 minute subway ride from lower manhattan to the upper east side. I wonder if they have some sort of arranged system.

That's a stereotypical thing to say.
  18. 809,000,000.
While hysterical mobs who unforgivably wield political power have been chasing phantom Nazis, an email marketing company (and so already the filth of the lowest sewer) has unintentionally made accessible a massive amount of personal financial data like credit ratings. 809 million records exposed. But hey, let’s keep looking for Russians.
We have the most credentialed rulers ever and we need to jettison them all into space and replace them with people who have brains in their head instead of non-STEM degrees on their wall.
    https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2019/03/an-email-marketing-company-left-809-million-records-exposed-online/

While you’ve likely never heard of them, validators play a crucial role in the email marketing industry. They don’t send out marketing emails on their own behalf or facilitate automated mass email campaigns. Instead, they vet a customer’s mailing list to ensure that the email addresses in it are valid and won’t bounce back. Some email marketing firms offer this mechanism in-house. But fully verifying that an email address works involves sending a message to the address and confirming that it was delivered—essentially spamming people. That means evading protections of Internet service providers and platforms like Gmail. (There are less invasive ways to validate email addresses, but they have a tradeoff of false positives.) Mainstream email marketing firms often outsource this work rather than take on the risk of having their infrastructure blacklisted by spam filters or lowering their online reputation scores.

In general, the 809 million total records in the Verifications.io trove include standard information like names, email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses. But many also include things like gender, date of birth, personal mortgage amount, interest rate, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts associated with email addresses, and characterizations of people’s credit scores (like average, above average, and so on). Meanwhile, other records in the collection seem related to generating sales leads at businesses, including company names, annual revenue figures, fax numbers, company websites, and industry identifiers for categorizing companies called “SIC” and “NAIC” codes.

White folks are like garbage dump. Whatever goes wrong among non-whites and Jews, just toss the trash into the white landfill. So, if Jews, blacks, Muslims, Asians, homos, Mexicans, Hindus, and etc. have beef with one another, just bundle their problems and toss them into the white garbage dump and blame whites for all the filth and rot.

You don't really need a time loop to toss things into the future (AKA "kicking the can down the road").

And, yes, I suspect that using whites for scapegoats is simply a Thom catastrophe [1]. I wonder if it could be modeled? You'd need to find the critical variables, and then somehow get data from, say, 7 cases to get a good enough sample to determine whether your sample was good enough, but it would be an interesting topic. Anybody here know whether that's been done already?

    May very well be so.

The trick to covert stuff like this is to create reasonable doubt, and to attack vulnerable systems. Thus, one attacks a system that is about to fail on its own. The attack is easier, the damage harder to repair, and deniability is greater.

The thing is, you need a vulnerable system to start with to pull off the above. Put in reasonable redundancy and put in a real security system and the attack becomes harder to mount and easier to recover from.

You're interested in the attack, I'm pointing out the under-funding (and raw stupidity) that made the attack (if there was one -- remember that the plausible deniability is real in the Venezuelan case) both possible and plausibly deniable.

Contemporary cities are strategically very vulnerable. Their "import the world to maintain political power" strategy has made them skimp on their infrastructure and has cost them the support of their hinterlands, while making them not at all economically important. Now the welfare cost of the imported voters is driving away the financial industry. That takes out their tax base -> more scrimping on infrastructure -> more vulnerability to cyber (and other) attacks -> even more resentment from their hinterlands -> importation of more foreign "voters". Not a good cycle, for the cities or anybody else.

  63. Reading through the OED on trope, I find that before the 16th century, in the Western Church, as passages of the bible were sung during services, explanatory phrases called tropes were inserted into the text like this:

    New Testament text:
Now as they heard these things, they were cut to the heart and gnashed their teeth at him.

    trope:
When they had heard the reason,
They knew that they were defeated.
With wrath they puff up their lungs,
Their teeth they grit like lions.

The OED’s first usage is from Tindale, “that ye will not in these wordes of Christe, Thys is my bodey, etc, admitte in so playne a speache anye troope.” I.e., some things you don’t need to explain or clutter up.

Eventually, out of a religious context, trope comes to mean a figure of speech or a theme. And sung tropes disappeared from the liturgy, as did the books that contained them, tropers.

NEW YORK (CBS NewYork) — The NYPD says a black woman sprayed several white people with a chemical substance near a pair of subway stations in upper Manhattan Friday afternoon.

Police are looking for a black woman in her 30s or 40s who weights approximately 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a blue jacket and gray pants.

The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force has joined in the investigation, which is ongoing.

Mr. Sailer, have you ever paused to think about how much happier you’d be, how much better adjusted to our world, if you’d just stop Noticing Things?

Noticing things: that’s not who we are.

The problem with noticing, is that you can’t un-notice; also, noticing is a gateway to further noticing.

I’m loath to appeal to movie tropes, but we actually don’t get to make the “red pill/blue pill” choice à la The Matrix; rather, people get red-pilled as a result of cumulative noticing (sometimes they notice a single thing that serves as a catalyst, but they have to already be ‘primed’ as a result of prior noticing).

On the red-pill/blue-pill thing: if we did get to consciously make the choice, any rational fully-informed individual would pick blue. Blue is the utility-maximising path, without a shred of doubt.

Also note that although Morpheus claims that the choice is irrevocable… however Cypher (Joe Pantoliano) is set to voluntarily return to the simulation before he is killed; he is promised he will not be aware of having been outside the simulation.

If that were possible (without a serious brain injury) IRL, I would grab at it in a fucking heartbeat.

Ignorance and bliss are compatible (although it’s possible to be ignorant and unhappy, of course).
