Once I was on a flight to Seattle from Philly, with a connection in Atlanta ( this makes no sense geographically but that’s how airlines work – it must have been Delta). It was a short connection and the incoming flight was a little late so I RAN thru the vast Atlanta airport and got to the other gate on time (Murphy’s Law says that your connecting flight gate is always at the most distant part of the airport from your arrival gate). And I plopped into my aisle seat and the middle seat was empty and at the window seat there was a young woman who was very easy on the eyes. I thought to myself that this should be a very pleasant and comfortable flight or at least as good as sitting in a tube for five and a half hours gets. And then the plane sat and sat and finally they announced that they were waiting for someone to make a connection. After maybe 30 minutes of waiting, an extremely obese man (I mean the guy must have weighed 400 lbs.) gets on and he waddles up to my row – he is assigned the middle seat. I tell the cabin crew politely oh hell no and they have mercy on me and move me to the exit row so it all worked out but there was no way that this guy’s ass was going to fit in that middle seat cushion. They really need to make folks like this buy two seats, which is only fair because they weigh as much as 2 people.

Referendum against the sitting President is a common theme in many elections. Carter against Ford, B. Clinton against G.H.W. If you want to see what a black person’s natural hair and skin color are, you have to find a childhood photo. The rule of thumb among blacks is that the richer and more famous they get the whiter and more European looking they become – sometimes it’s hard to believe that it’s the same person.
Like most black women, the hair that you see is the product of artifice and chemicals, not nature. Most white people have literally no idea what black women go thru to make their hair resemble Caucasian hair. It’s quite a process and it requires lifelong maintenance. Theatrical release and that revenue is dead. Cable is declining rapidly and nothing can replace its revenue. People are not going to pay for streaming something like $55. Certainly not when they can pirate stuff easily and just by going to swap meets and the like. NONE I mean NONE of the streaming services make money. Disney Plus streaming is bleeding cash to the tune of around $300 million PER QUARTER. That's net.
Meanwhile someone in Switzerland or Austria can make cheaply with digital equipment decent series on reasonable budgets and sell them on various platforms. Most stuff that sells is conservative: nearly all Clint Eastwood movies, all Stallone and Schwarzenegger movies, Die Hard, most of the Marvel stuff, most cop shows etc.

You would think they would be bankrupt with the internet but sports addiction never ceases to amaze me.
My local radio station does a 2 hour show before the football game.
2 frigging hours of talking about a game before it happens. Then they watch the game for 3 hours. If they play fantasy football add another 2 hours. Good lord it amazes me that women stay with these sports dorks. I could not stand working with them during football season.
With all our problems we are still inundated with White men that want to spend all day talking about sports.

She is entirely by design. The establishment never really wanted Biden but he was saved by Blacks in the primary and Sanders was viewed as too risky.

Edith Wharton and Henry James books were very very dark creepy and unpleasant. Edith Wharton’s basic plot was that the bad guys and gals always won over the nice ones. Henry James, the good guys and gals at least had a chance but lost anyway. Age of innocence was the only Wharton novel that wasn’t a tragedy.
