RINKEBY, Sweden — Johnny Castillo, a Peruvian-born neighborhood watchman in this district of Stockholm, still puzzles over the strange events that two years ago turned the central square of this predominantly immigrant community into a symbol of multiculturalism run amok.
First came a now-infamous comment by President Trump, suggesting that Sweden’s history of welcoming refugees was at the root of a violent attack in Rinkeby the previous evening, even though nothing had actually happened.
“You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden! Who would believe this? Sweden!” Mr. Trump told supporters at a rally on Feb. 18, 2017. “They took in large numbers. They’re having problems like they never thought possible.”
The president’s source: Fox News, which had excerpted a short film promoting a dystopian view of Sweden as a victim of its asylum policies, with immigrant neighborhoods crime-ridden “no-go zones.”
But two days later, as Swedish officials were heaping bemused derision on Mr. Trump, something did in fact happen in Rinkeby: Several dozen masked men attacked police officers making a drug arrest, throwing rocks and setting cars ablaze.
And it was right around that time, according to Mr. Castillo and four other witnesses, that Russian television crews showed up, offering to pay immigrant youths “to make trouble” in front of the cameras.
“They wanted to show that President Trump is right about Sweden,” Mr. Castillo said, “that people coming to Europe are terrorists and want to disturb society.”
That nativist rhetoric — that immigrants are invading the homeland — has gained ever-greater traction, and political acceptance, across the West amid dislocations wrought by vast waves of migration from the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. In its most extreme form, it is echoed in the online manifesto of the man accused of gunning down 22 people last weekend in El Paso.
In the nationalists’ message-making, Sweden has become a prime cautionary tale, dripping with schadenfreude. What is even more striking is how many people in Sweden — progressive, egalitarian, welcoming Sweden — seem to be warming to the nationalists’ view: that immigration has brought crime, chaos and a fraying of the cherished social safety net, not to mention a withering away of national culture and tradition.
What could possibly explain why the famously liberal Swedish population is slowly coming around to the view that immigrants are committing annoying levels of crime in Sweden other than a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy centered in the Kremlin? Obviously, as everybody who has been to college knows, the only reason anybody would imagine that different ethnicities might have different crime rates would be due to a global conspiracy.
Fueled by an immigration backlash — Sweden has accepted more refugees per capita than any other European country — right-wing populism has taken hold, reflected most prominently in the steady ascent of a political party with neo-Nazi roots, the Sweden Democrats. In elections last year, they captured nearly 18 percent of the vote.
To dig beneath the surface of what is happening in Sweden, though, is to uncover the workings of an international disinformation machine, devoted to the cultivation, provocation and amplication [sic] of far-right, anti-immigrant passions and political forces. Indeed, that machine, most influentially rooted in Vladimir V. Putin’s Russia and the American far right, underscores a fundamental irony of this political moment: the globalization of nationalism.
The central target of these manipulations from abroad — and the chief instrument of the Swedish nationalists’ success — is the country’s increasingly popular, and virulently anti-immigrant, digital echo chamber.

Actual conditions within Sweden — in particular the impact of the poor immigrants — appear to rank at best a distant third.
There have been several journalists and bloggers who attempted in multiple separate incidents to “debunk” the no-go zones, and they all either proved them, or were turned back early, or prevented from going at all by police. Police have abandoned facilities multiple times over because of grenade attacks. And there’s the children getting beaten or buffalloed into rape clubs.
Now, here’s the really sad part. Russia is geographically near to Sweden and has had a long history of fighting them and messing with them. Part of the reason Swedish mass media is so Soviet is because it was consolidated by a Bernie-style Soviet fanboy decades ago. Russian subs, communications, and radiation frequently give Swedish security personnel interesting work. But granting that the “refugees” are Moscovite catspaws (to show how incoherent this is), you’re still left with a situation where getting rid of the “refugees” solves the problem.

In the jail in which Epstein is held, there has only been 1 other suicide in the last 21 years. The jail has been described as a facility in which suicide is "nearly impossible" due to the elaborate security procedures.

If it were not illegal, and if it were not forbidden to write this, I would encourage the MEN in any country to actively fight all intruders who are a threat to the women.
It is the responsibility of MEN to protect. It is a MAN’s job to fight intruders who are a danger to women.

Swedish women need to think about their “behavior” when they leave the house in the city of Uppsala. Otherwise, they might be raped. That message is stated by the police in the newspaper Expressen.
During the night between Tuesday and Wednesday there was another attempted rape in Uppsala. It was the fourth assault in four days.
The police were alerted by several people who heard a woman scream for help.
They don’t believe that a serial rapist is operating, and therefore investigate the incidents as separate.
No descriptions of the suspected perpetrators have been published.
The police warn women, and say that they must think about how they can change their behavior.
Which means that Swedes now have to change their behavior because of the unsafe situation in the country.
Women in Uppsala should not worry but be cautious with how they behave. Perpetrators seek out lonely men and women, so it’s important how one acts when outside, according to the police.
They advise women not to go out alone, to always be around others and to stick to well-lit streets. Ideally, they should not walk through the city at all in the evening and at night. If they must go out, they should travel by car.
When Expressen asks if it really is on the women to change their behavior, the police reply that they cannot be in all places at the same time, and that men can use the tips as well to reduce the risk of being subjected to street robbery

Crime is the easiest objection of the nationalist for the NY Times to refute. In NYC, non black immigrant areas are low crime. But there is no social connection to the people. That is the problem and objection to immigration. It breaks down social cohesion of the community. And people have little interest in rebuilding social connections. Why get involved in coaching a school basketball team if most of the kids are not of your ethic group? Why organize the town to build a public pool when immigrant groups will be the majority users?

Swedes are ashamed because they were neutral in WW2 when Denmark & Finland (Finland more substantially, duh, bigtime duh) & fought back, like real men.
