Start at 11:45 for footage of the Girl in Pink:

Here’s body camera footage from the Columbus policeman who appears to be an African immigrant. His task in this video shortly after the police shooting of Knife Girl is to escort eyewitnesses to sit by themselves in the back of police cruisers until they can first be interviewed by the Bureau of Criminal Investigations. In police shootings in Columbus, the local cops are not to interview the witnesses until the BCI talks to them first.

Not surprisingly, however, witnesses want to talk to cops about what just happened.

Here the African cop escorts to the vehicle the Girl in Pink who was almost skewered by Knife Girl. The Girl in Pink’s main concern is to retrieve her phone (which, I believe, was covered in the blood of the dead Knife Girl.) She does not sound upset that Officer Nicholas Reardon shot dead her assailant.

The Girl in Pink informs the cop: “She came after me.”

Cop: “With a knife”

GiP: “So she — so he got her.”

Normal people don’t behave like this.

    They’re African Americans.

One pattern you’ll notice once you’ve seen enough black crime is no matter how tragic the circumstances, the event always has some kind of absurd aspect to it, that emotionally divorces any decent viewer from the action, since there’s no thread of human decency to solicit empathy.

It’s why so many commenters have said, “thank god the puppy was okay.”

It’s the step beyond the ultra violence of say, “Clockwork Orange.”

If satire has a nihilist streak in it, black violence does also, but it’s not nihilism, it’s primitivism, with all the base, narcissistic undertow driving every ridiculously horrible scene. Like an old time Englishman watching cannibals do what they do best. It’s too ridiculously horrible to be properly horrified.

The story of black culture is a self-propelling, never ending “Lord of the Flies” with the score of “Yakkity Sax” on an endless loop.

  12. JimB says:

On YouTube, the commenters are claiming that the guy kicking the plump girl in shorts on the ground is the late Makhiah’s father. Does anyone know if this is true?

Nah, he’s just a rando. Rules for black crowds stipulate that anyone who falls to the ground must be stomped to death by everyone who manages to stay upright

YouTube-Google has been subltly censoring stuff like this by limiting viewing and distribution with log-in requirements under the pretense that the material should be age-restricted.

Here is the video above on the City of Columbus Facebook page, no need to log into Facebook or anything else, at least for me, a non-Facebook member, as of now:

The particular officer’s body cam footage begins where Steve noted, but the actual pink girl section is around the 15:00 mark.

It’s amazing how these cops have to work in the midst of hostile black bystanders who seem on the verge of anti-cop violence. The African cop really comes off as competent.

There’s another video of an interview of a droopy eyed, dull friend of the deceased, who assures us that the dearly departed had a great sense of humor and was probably just trying to scare pink girl, but unfortunately it seems to have disappeared from my browser tabs, so no link.

  18. In the newest extended version of the video taken by a neighbor’s security camera from across the street, the adult male is a suspicious figure. He walks from the street up by the far side of the car where the near stabbing takes place. He comes up the driveway and meets the stabber who is walking from the house entrance and stands directly in front of her for several seconds. As he backs away, she launches in rage forward towards the first female who is attacked and falls backwards. The male kicks her in the head as the stabber turns towards a new target, the female in pink. I think it likely the male said something to the stabber that enraged her and may have given the knife to her. He should be interviewed and the video scrutinized. The officer’s actions were completely justified.

In other words, according to Sartre, the statement “hell is other people” is implicitly conditional: other people are hell for us if our relationships with them are bad. How many are scamming the Trump-Biden PPP – Paycheck Protection Program? I have a Muslim Bangladeshi acquaintance. A few months ago he started spilling about how the business he owns is participating in PPP. That this has helped keep his family afloat. Then he shut his mouth, figuring best not to brag to an American. I just know his business was mostly moribund prior to Covid 19 because he never spoke about it. My guess is he imports stuff from his homeland. On a tiny scale.

In retrospect I should have had my own crappy business. That the IRS knew about due to paying taxes. PPP would have been good to me. I see new restaurants opening where I live. How many restaurants owners milked the PPP, then declared bankruptcy so that nothing has to be repaid? No PPP loans have to be repaid?
Then now they get back into the restaurant biz under a new name. Their rent will be lower. Perhaps re-opening in their former location. Perhaps elsewhere. My theory is that this is going on everywhere.
I get a slick paper, free advertiser mag in my mailbox 6 times a year. I see new restaurants advertising in it that I never saw before.

No one was stabbed. The man was standing in front of Bryant to make sure Bryant was not provoked by fat white girl. It started when the fat white girl was bulldozed back several yards by Bryant

I have to say fat white girl seems to have been on someone else’s property and getting in their face, and this was someone with a deadly weapon who had been making threats. The cop was almost there being led by Pinkie, who stopped on the sidewalk; Bryant forced fat white girl back and off her feet, then Pinkie ran at the melee but got the same treatment as fat white girl. Bryant shoved them both several yards while menacing them with the knife, but if she had wanted to kill either of them then they would be dead. So while they underestimated her in a way (Bryant was strong, fast, assaultive and unafraid of being shot), ultimately they weren’t wrong about her not really having what it took to stab someone.

To continue O/T, Clyde, we got a 2nd EBT card in the mail from the school district. I don’t even get it at all – they have meals at the schools now, so what is it for? The first one, back last spring, was for “poor kids aren’t getting fed at school, so let’s give them money – we don’t have time to sort out who needs it”. (Answer, not a one of their parents, were it not for laziness, couldn’t feed them as it were.)

If they are going to give away my tax money (just paid the house tax and the income tax), I may as well get a few % of it back. This card was for over 400 bucks, Clyde.

EVs are pretty ok if you stay in town

The most recent models have ranges in the vicinity of 250 to 350 miles and they keep improving. And you can recharge on a high speed charger at a highway rest stop in 15 minutes. So there’s no reason that you can’t take an EV cross country. TBH, most families have more than 1 car and most trips ARE around town so if you had one car that was just a local runabout it wouldn’t be the end of the world but that’s not true anymore. It’s like SUV’s – people want SUVs with off road capability even though they NEVER actually take them off the highway. It’s a psychological issue, not a real issue.

but there is NO WAY there are enough nuclear reactors or the power distribution network or even the manufacturing capacity to see a whole lot of those.

You in 1900 : but there is NO WAY there are enough refineries or filling stations or even the manufacturing capacity to see a whole lot of gasoline powered automobiles, so we are going to have to stick with horses for the foreseeable future.

If you build it, they will come. The transition to EVs will not occur overnight. EV market share in the US is currently 2 or 3%. There are going to be gas powered autos on the road for the next 20 or 30 years or maybe even longer. The last licence for a horse-drawn cab in London was relinquished only in 1947. The fleet will only gradually be replaced by EVs. At the same time, the infrastructure to support EVs will also gradually be built.

apparently there are special grants available to POC migrants that actual Americans and Canadians cant get and they use these to own and run these gas station kwiki marts. The grants are only good for 5 years so the POC then hops to Canada to take over their relative’s business and their relative moves to the U.S. to run their business and the grant money is flowing again.

Bryant’s military veteran neighbor Donavon Brinson appears to be a normal person. (He supplied the security camera footage.) Same for another neighbor, Ira Graham III, who says Bryant was in full attack mode and needed to be stopped.

If one was super-cynical about it, one might wonder if the girl in pink eventuated an outcome precisely to her liking and her intention. Susan Wojcicki, the CEO of Google’s video platform YouTube, was awarded the Freedom Forum Institute’s ‘Free Expression Award’ on Friday in a ceremony sponsored by her own company – despite YouTube’s track record of censorship.

In the digital awards ceremony, YouTube video creator Molly Burke praised Wojcicki as a free speech leader before the YouTube CEO detailed in her acceptance speech how much the platform censors its users.

April 23: YouTube blocks videos & hands strikes to RT’s English & German channels over alleged Covid-19 disinformation

RT’s English YouTube channel was issued a strike by the service over alleged Covid-19 disinformation, temporarily restricting its ability to launch live broadcasts. RT in Germany faced similar sanctions.

On Friday, four videos on RT’s main English-language channel were made inaccessible for viewers for what YouTube said were violations of its policies on “medical misinformation” and “spam, deceptive practices and scams.”

In its notification letter, the platform didn’t specify what exact content in those clips went against its regulations. RT has addressed YouTube for clarification, but hasn’t gotten a response yet.

According to YouTube’s rules, the blocking of four clips on a channel amounts to a “strike.” As a penalty, RT’s English channel will be barred from organizing live broadcasts for the next seven days.

None of the blacklisted clips were newly uploaded. They remained on RT’s channel for weeks and even months, garnering numerous views and likes from the audience.

One of them was an interview with renowned Russian virologist and World Health Organization expert on influenza Dmitry Lvov, who made a name for himself by researching the most dangerous viruses in the former Soviet Union and abroad. In the clip from early March, Lvov spoke to RT’s journalist, Anton Krasovsky, about the dangers and possible origins of the current coronavirus pandemic.

EVs make more sense in China where EVs are most of the new automobile market. Supposedly there are 50 EV manufacturers in China. China has decent hydro-electric such as Three Gorges dam. Which came close spilling over last year due to heavy rains. 3 Gorges might bite the dust next time around. They, China, also have lots more coal reserves compared to oil still in the ground. Coal to burn and power their EVs

With fracking revolution we have more than enough petroleum reserves to refine into gasoline and diesel. Thus EVs make less sense in America. Companies like Honda are always doing their research to come up with more efficient, more durable internal combustion engines. I am rooting for Honda while Tesla can go F off. Plus their automobiles are too damn expensive. I could care less if the range of EVs is improving. It is absurd to be driving around with 1000+ pounds of dead weight called the battery.

Tesla battery weights are from 1000-1200 lbs, depending on the model you buy. Just looked it up.
I have also read VW is going heavy into EVs. They are decades into the auto business, they actually know how to put together an automobile so that all parts fit tightly together and will last. When they gear up they will sell EVs for much less than Tesla. They will mop the floor with Tesla and Elon Musk’s wig. His goofball girl friend’s wig too.

You might want to discuss that with the CEO of General Motors. Big plans have been announced, we’ll see what actually arrives.

And how many of those will you find in Flatonia TX?

Tesla has one for sure, at the Amigo travel center.

    Yelp has more listed.

Of course, some of the baseload generation in Texas is still coal fired. So that makes EV’s coal powered in a sense.

lol @ greenie coal powered carz.

Can’t really find any where that is really recycling the lithium batteries, though.
Plus they can be a problem when on fire. That’s why airlines quiz people about ‘batteries in luggage’. The Tesla crash down near Houston showed the body of the car burned almost entirely away.

I’m no leftist but I dislike fracking. I think it’s possible to perfect other components of technology (better IC engines, materials, etc.) than depend on that.

Tesla claims their batteries are non-toxic. I’m skeptical.

Perhaps they can be de-toxified… which would require electricity, which would require fossil fuels.

At the end of the day, electricity is generated using fossil fuels. It’s either that or nuclear. Solar and wind won’t cut it, and in any case, the former use toxic batteries for storage.

Electrical industry is booming now and is on another 50 year growth streak. There’s still save the earth new wiring and fixtures to be installed in every public building , data centers to be built maintained and rebuilt every ten years and soon charging stations to be installed and maintained.

If you have kids look into it. Or buy cooper and rubber stocks.

Honda said this (confirmed!) but I doubt this will take place. This is feel good propaganda to burnish their greenie image. This will help their sales to libbies of their current internal combustion engine lineup. Honda currently sells one or two hybrids or EVs I believe. I see a hybrid CR-V is on the way in 2024.

For the 2020s, Honda aims to favor hybrids over EVs
    https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1126582_for…
Honda has said that it wants electrified vehicles to make up two-thirds of its global sales by 2030. That goal is nothing new; it was announced back in 2016. What is new is that Honda plans to…

Doh… Hybrids run on gasoline. Though some can also be plugged in your AC outlet to kind of trickle charge the Hybrid or EV. The best home charging way is installing a $1000 (fast) charging station in your garage. Not all hybrid owners have garages. My EV brainwashed relative has this charging station. I saw it. He connects a Tesla and a Chevy Volt.

You left out hydro-electric which is a large fraction of electricity generation is some parts of the US. Quebec hydro installations sell massive amounts of electricity to New England.

He also, has a very calming way of talking, that convinced the witnesses to do what he wanted them to do. I also find African accents to be quite beautiful, which is why I believe that people got Nelson Mandela fever!

Normal people in the West (black, white, yellow, brown) let their governments drop bombs from thirty thousand feet on civilians, invade nations who have the audacity to be independent; overthrow governments that don’t cooperate; steal resources to for cellphones, jewelry, and automobiles; block shipments of food and medicine; impose sanctions to secure predatory loans; and then watch CNN, FOX, MSNBC, NPR and ask why do those savages hate us.
