Two major events of the Great Awokening happened on Memorial Day, May 25, 2020. One I’ve reminded you of a few times, but the other one initially made a bigger splash among higher IQ white people. On May 26, 2020, I blogged only about how the whole world was upset over the evil white Karen calling the cops on the gay black birdwatcher in Central Park. On May 27th, I posted once on the first night of looting and arson mostly peaceful protests in Minneapolis, and four times on the Crisis in Central Park.
In retrospect, it looks like The Establishment was getting geared up for The Racial Reckoning, which would have happened shortly with or without the demise of George Floyd.
Whatever happened to the saintly birdwatcher? From the New York Times news section:

By his own account, Christian then said, “Look, if you’re going to do what you want, I’m going to do what I want, but you’re not going to like it,” and beckoned the dog toward him with a dog treat.[3] Amy then yelled, “Don’t you touch my dog!”[3] Christian then began recording on his cellphone.[1][3]

On Monday, National Geographic announced a new series featuring Mr. Cooper, called “Extraordinary Birder,” that is expected to run on one of National Geographic’s channels or on Disney+. A premiere date has not been released.

This reminds me of how Skippy Gates, then-unknown Harvard professor and black (ahem, *B*lack) , got into a dustup with the Cambridge, MA police in 2009 when Skippy, bereft of his house key, busted into his own home. I’ve always thought that people who have an irrational fear of dogs violate my and my dog’s right to enjoy the public space equally. Really, what’s the dog going to do, jump up and rip your face off, fer chrissake?

Most dog owners have good judgement and wouldn't take a dangerous dog to a park. However, a small percentage have bad judgement or are exceedingly careless, so you need a universal rule that applies to everyone. You can't let individuals decide on their own what laws apply to them. According to the CDC, there are 800,000 dog bites a year that require medical attention. Some dogs are dangerous, so it is not irrational to be cautious around a dog you don't know and not irrational to have laws keeping dogs from running loose.
Yes, lots of young black men skulk around parks looking for birds. That’s why so many of them are college bound before their unfortunate encounters with WS Cops.

The presenter has very little to do with it other than have a reasonable speaking voice. I won't discuss Amy Cooper out of ignorance, but regarding Tessa Majors, I didn't recall that she was anti-White. What I do recall, and this is a factor with every one of Mrs. Alden's examples of MEN o' UNZ gone WILD, is that she simply cannot separate "deserving" from simple cause-and-effect.
There were guys who know NY City on here (hey, where are you, Gary in Gramercy, BTW?) saying that the young lady should not have gone that route, that she was asking for trouble, etc. It was the same with the many many black on white girl killings that Paul Kersey writes about, in which the commenters say "she shouldn't have done that", "if she'd listened to her parents rather than wanted to avoid being racist", "she was hanging out with these guys, that's her problem" etc.
It's not that these young ladies DESERVED to get killed because they ignored warnings and common-sense. Nobody meant that. I watched the curricula like a hawk and let the teachers know when they did right and when they did wrong. Some loved me. Some hated me. By coincidence, a bunch of the haters resigned (or were resigned) after a few years.I was race realist (and talked race realist in private company) but also explained what public decorum required. Woman, 55, body slammed at Popeyes in Tennessee

A 55-year-old woman was body-slammed Tuesday by a Popeyes employee in the parking lot of a Tennessee restaurant.
Debra Staggs, 55, went into the restaurant to dispute a receipt, WSMV reported. When she walked out of the store, an employee followed her, picked her up and slammed her into the parking lot, video shows.
Staggs suffered nine fractures, six cracked ribs and a broken knee, WSMV reported. She has undergone multiple surgeries and is expected to have an extensive recovery.
What led to the altercation is unclear.
A video posted from inside the restaurant shows a man telling Staggs not to use a racial slur, however, she can not be heard saying one in the recording.
"If she said something she should not have said in retaliation and the heat of the moment we do not condone that and she regrets that, but it does not give someone the right to break somebody's body almost in half," her attorney Rocky McElhaney told The Tennessean.
Employee Deriance Ra’Shaiel Hughes, 29, is seen in the video yelling at Staggs from across the counter. A manager asks Staggs multiple times to leave.
"You got your money, now get out before I call the law on you and forcibly remove you," a manager tells Staggs in the video.
Staggs, whose son is a state trooper, responds: "Lady, the law is my family."
Staggs then leaves the restaurant. Hughes then follows Staggs into the parking lot grabs her from behind and slams her into the asphalt, The Tennessean reported.
Hughes was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault, according to Columbia police. Investigators could file additional charges against another person as well.
Steve, if gates was that popular at the time of that incident, then why didn’t the: a) neighbor, or b) police force, or c) arresting officer have that moment of ‘ah, this is the infamous gates!’ The cop called would have some familiarity with the area and would know whereabouts ‘ people like that’ live. The silver lining is that THC edibles taste like crap… well, worse than anything a kid would actually enjoy, so an unintentional high dose is unlikely… unless the kid is an indiscriminate compulsive eater. In which case they’ve got worse things in store for them than feeling weird for an hour or so and then taking a nap.

A 55-year-old woman was body-slammed Tuesday by a Popeyes employee in the parking lot of a Tennessee restaurant.
Debra Staggs, 55, went into the restaurant to dispute a receipt, WSMV reported. When she walked out of the store, an employee followed her, picked her up and slammed her into the parking lot, video shows.
Staggs suffered nine fractures, six cracked ribs and a broken knee, WSMV reported. She has undergone multiple surgeries and is expected to have an extensive recovery.
What led to the altercation is unclear.
A video posted from inside the restaurant shows a man telling Staggs not to use a racial slur, however, she can not be heard saying one in the recording.
“If she said something she should not have said in retaliation and the heat of the moment we do not condone that and she regrets that, but it does not give someone the right to break somebody’s body almost in half,” her attorney Rocky McElhaney told The Tennessean.
Employee Deriance Ra’Shaiel Hughes, 29, is seen in the video yelling at Staggs from across the counter. A manager asks Staggs multiple times to leave.
“You got your money, now get out before I call the law on you and forcibly remove you,” a manager tells Staggs in the video.
Staggs, whose son is a state trooper, responds: “Lady, the law is my family.”
Staggs then leaves the restaurant. Hughes then follows Staggs into the parking lot grabs her from behind and slams her into the asphalt, The Tennessean reported.
Hughes was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault, according to Columbia police. Investigators could file additional charges against another person as well.

When I learned that at his arrest, he was living on Ware Street (considerably less pleasant), I was puzzled. That was when it became public knowledge that he and his wife had divorced. So that may have contributed to people not knowing that it was Gates.
All that aside, if Gates had been less frazzled after a long flight from China, he might have handled things differently. And certainly, if Obama had stayed out of it (particularly after admitting that he didn’t really know what had happened), this would not have turned into such a circus.

My long-time neighbors called 9/11 when the new divorced dad renter across the street tried to break into the house he was renting. Four LAPD cruisers rolled up, but he explained he’d lost his keys and they went away.

I had a dog in a public park attack me, leaving me with large bruises and cuts on my leg. It hurt a great deal while it was happening. I’ve been fearful of dogs ever since that happened. I will often have a leash-less dog run at me in a park and momentarily feel a spike of fear. Usually, the dog doesn’t bite me and the dog owner smiles and says it’s not dangerous. It somewhat ruins my walk, though, when that happens.
Most dog owners have good judgement and wouldn’t take a dangerous dog to a park. However, a small percentage have bad judgement or are exceedingly careless, so you need a universal rule that applies to everyone. You can’t let individuals decide on their own what laws apply to them. According to the CDC, there are 800,000 dog bites a year that require medical attention. Some dogs are dangerous, so it is not irrational to be cautious around a dog you don’t know and not irrational to have laws keeping dogs from running loose.
