How did hate crime huckster Jussie Smollett get away with it? All crooked roads in Chicago lead back to the Obamas.
… And that brings us to the Democratic operatives behind the scenes. Two weeks ago, Chicago Sun-Times reporters discovered that Obama crony pal and deep-pocketed campaign finance mega-bundler Tina Tchen had inserted herself in the investigation. Tchen texted Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx just three days after the incident “on behalf of Jussie Smollett and family who I know” to express “concerns.” She suggested that Foxx lean on Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson to yield to the FBI and she shared an unidentified Smollett’s family member’s cellphone number with Foxx.
Tchen, who is approximately a 5’2″” East Asian woman, somehow qualifies as an Honorary Large-and-in-Charge Black Sister. Ever since January 21, 2017, Tchen has been getting all the jobs that you might think would go to a black woman, such as chairing the Grammy Awards task force to determine why Beyonce has only won 22 Grammys, and now she’s running the Southern Poverty Law Center’s self-investigation of whether or not Morris Dees said “I like chocolate” to one of the SPLC’s rare black women attorneys.
I’m reminded of the disgraced ex-Obama Administration official who launched the Twitter hashtag #OscarsSoWhite in 2015 and has ridden it to a pleasant career traveling from one entertainment industry confab to another to be paid to demand more of what Tom Wolfe called Plaques for Blacks. But she is at least black, while Tchen is not. Here is Tchen with Valerie Jarrett:
And, wow, you can totally see how Roseanne Barr’s Ambien-addled brain did not register that the Iran-born Jarrett, who appears to have had some work done and who now looks about as realistic as Kim Hunter as Zira in Planet of the Apes, is from the Talented Tenth, which got Roseanne immediately fired by the black lady who was briefly in charge of ABC, tanking the #1 show on TV. Jarrett looks like the median Beverly Hills matron, so no wonder Roseanne figured she was some kind of Israel-hating Iranian rather than one of America’s most sacred minority with the most Diversity Pokemon Points.
Foxx texted back that she had done as requested and that Chief Johnson was “going to make the ask.” The unidentified relative rejoiced: “OMG this would be a huge victory.”
Only after Foxx meddled did she recuse herself and name an underling to take over — which rendered her Kabuki recusal meaningless to veteran observers of the “Crook” County criminal justice system. So, who was the Smollett relative with all the right (or rather, left) connections? Follow the trail:
–Tchen and Smollett’s sister, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, joined together in March 2018 at South by Southwest in Austin to proclaim that “There Is No Time’s Up Without Women Of Color.”
Time’s Up is an effort to cash in on Weinsteingate, of which Tchen heads the legal defense fund.

Interestingly, just as Jussie’s story was unraveling in mid-February, the new head of Tchen’s Time’s Up racket, former WNBA leader Lisa Borders, a black woman, had to resign due to family issues. From USA Today:
LOS ANGELES – Lisa Borders says she has resigned as president and CEO of Time’s Up, the gender equality initiative formed last year in response to sexual misconduct allegations in Hollywood.
Borders says in statement Monday that she is stepping aside “with deep regret” due to family issues. She didn’t elaborate….
The organization was formed in January 2018 in response to sexual misconduct allegations leveled against powerful men in the entertainment industry including Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey.
To be precise, the Women of Hollywood did not exactly organize due to Kevin Spacey’s depredations.
Borders’ “family issues” explanation for resigning from Feminist Avengers Inc. sounds bogus, but it wasn’t. According to an extremely detailed and embarrassing Los Angeles Times account:
Borders stepped down four days after a 31-year-old Santa Monica woman alleged, in a Facebook post, that Borders’ 36-year-old son had been sexually inappropriate with her.
Santa Monica is close to being the physical fitness capital of America, but what the point is of all that exercise seems to be lost on today’s 31-year-olds.
Borders’ son is a Shakti massage therapist, which sounds pretty gay, but apparently he isn’t. In order that he could perform his “healing massage” on her, his friend the 31-year-old Reiki specialist came over to his house and disrobed. A normal male physiological response ensued, which ultimately cost Tchen’s front woman her job.
So leave the Borders family out of the Smollett fiasco. They have enough problems of their own.

But for decades she has gone to every bar association event you can think – not much of a lawyer but total political animal. Ran for judge, lost. Kinda the Ivy League mediocrity that seems to run our nation now.
Maybe she still directs some business back to her old colleagues.
Still more evidence that Asians are challenging Jews for primacy in 21st Century America. Didn’t take them long to copy the co-opting thing the Hebrews did with respect to blacks in the civil rights movement.

Kim Foxx is one of these Soros backed local officials. He, and his organizations, have been backing left-wing (“progressive”) candidates for county prosecutors (presumably in key counties like Cook), states attorneys general, and secretaries of state (he who counts the votes, etc.) in an effort to remake the country according to Soros’ messianic vision. Oblivious to all of this, I expect that “conservatives” in the GOP will continue to poo-poo any efforts to limit campaign spending. while the left replaces the country under them without them even noticing.

Yeah, that LAT piece is informative, though to the reporter’s credit, it’s not prurient. It’s the facts rather than the article that’s grist for the embarrassment mill.
And it’s to Ms. Borders’ credit that she turns out to be a hypocrite, damning all men with Times-Up’s “believe all women”… with the exception of the case of her own son’s alleged sexual misconduct. The article implies that Borders prioritized career over motherhood, allowing the reader to infer that she must have been tempted to throw her problem child under the bus. But she didn’t.

I’m a little disappointed there. I at first read that sentence as Tchen being the head of Weinstein’s legal defense fund. That would have been a truly epic bit of corruption if Tchen would have been simultaneously leading the Me Too movement, AND making bank defending the accused. I would have been duly impressed at that, but I supppose even Crook County scum have not, at least yet, scaled such Olympian heights of vile moral degeneracy.

The sitcom ‘Blackish’ had something on the whole all blacks know each other thing. The way it struck my mind when I saw your post is that’s exactly what they were saying, but without going to the logical extension you write about.

I’d like to think Americans care about the degradation of our justice system by Soros funded talented tenth crooks and Cabrini Green celebrity groupie prosecutors, but I suspect the demographic tipping point has been reached and doing anything about it at the polls in 2020 is hopeless. This is the new standard of politics and justice in America. Adapt or flee.

The guy is as fat as a pig but he was sweating enough for TWO pigs during his interview in which he stuttered out the excuses for dismissing 16 felonies even though he thought that the defendant was guilty - the TV lights couldn't have been THAT hot. I'm confident that a guy like Joey would fold like a cheap suit if you pressed him. You would just have to promise not to take away his pension which he is only 2 tantalizing years short of. Article 2 Section 1, Clause 5 of the US Constitution requires a POTUS candidate be a natural born citizen. Harris, just as barry soetoro was never qualified to be POTUS for the same reason as Harris. Is that true though? The Soviet state (admittedly not a matriarchy but still highly dysfunctional) last for 70 years. Chinese Communism is still going strong as are the N. Korean and Cuban versions. Even Maduro is hanging on in Venezuela despite having maybe a little over half of Tchen’s IQ. We’d like to think it would all fall apart quickly but is that really true?

This is BS. Even if the Nigerians were not ideal witnesses, there was plenty of other evidence that could corroborate their testimony – cell phone records (remember how Jussie didn’t want to give up his phone), cancelled checks, etc. At least in front of an impartial jury.

American whites are increasingly immune to patriotic war propaganda; the US has an incredible, unsustainable trade deficit and federal deficit; millions of illegals are pouring across the border in a fashion similar to how late-stage invasions of Rome signaled the end was near; Europe is increasingly defiant, and I wonder how much longer before there is a backlash there against all the anti-European racism from the American left; the public increasingly wants higher social spending and lower military spending as China’s economy and military grows…and the democrats will soon have the demographics to make it happen; social trust is already gone; the democratic party leadership is nearing 80 and the new generation has shown that it won’t be subservient to the status quo for much longer; Italy defies the US over China’s Silk Road; Germany defies the US over Nordstream 2; all of Europe and most of Asia defied the US over the Chinese Asian Infrastructure Bank; Japan defies the US over transgenders and there is consistent opposition to our base in Okinawa (and there is a growing backlash against American SJWs there, too); Russia is putting troops in Venezuela and defied the US over Syria; the US seemingly can’t win any wars; the US is culturally and creatively bankrupt and can’t make anything original that isn’t a stupid superhero movie; the days of the US having the world’s reserve currency are coming to a close with these massive deficits we are running; China is dominating 5G and will soon have a viable semiconductor industry (and the world’s largest radio telescope, a moon landing, and the world’s largest suspension bridges and longest dams); Asian videogame companies prove that when language is not a barrier they can dominate the West culturally….. and that’s just a short list. Corruption goes unchallenged, freedoms are revoked, and race relations are at a generational low. How much longer before the masses rise up and destroy the economy with a Green New Deal just like the masses put Chavez in power in Venezuela, a guy who then destroyed their oil industry?
All the warning signs are there for a great fall. I suspect that we’ll start to see this in the 2020s. Russia, China, and Europe will all become much more restive when it does and Asian allies will rush to make peace with China on favorable terms before they get too strong to oppose. The sad thing is that Americans did it to themselves, demonstrating once and for all to future historians that democracy does not work in the long run, at least not with these demographics (IQ 100 normies), ancient genetics, and this level of technology.
The European Parliament has just demanded reparations and sweeping affirmative action from every European country -- for Africans. Because Luxembourg had cotton slaves singing about their old Dutch cabin and rafting down the Moselle at some point I guess.
I think it would be useful to compare 2019 to 2008, when Obama came to office. The malaise of the Iraq war and the WMD fiasco hung over everything. Obama had an ambitious agenda which passed for progressive at that time - for example, there was a plan to reduce CO2 emissions over the long term by instituting emissions trading. Then came the financial crisis, 'TARP' and various bailouts, and Obama found himself busy just managing the situation he had inherited. Social media took over the world and centralized the Internet in the cloud, identity politics and social justice activism became ubiquitous especially in his second term, and a new age of great-power competition dawned.
My point is that not all of the problems you identify will continue to amplify unchecked. Some will just evaporate, they will turn out to be phenomena of the moment. Culture in particular is very changeable. As for some of the others... The US doesn't need China, Russia or even Europe in order to be a successful country. If they go their own way, that needn't touch America. Indeed, a Green New Deal (a concept which is at least ten years old) potentially dovetails very well with renewed economic nationalism, and a step away from a financialized economy with oligarchs presiding over chronically indebted lower classes. At the moment it is part of a progressive wishlist that also contains items like reparations, but perhaps the latter political impulse can be redirected to something like infrastructure repair.
I would also say that the US, or the west in general, continues to have an enormous lead in science and the ability to do science. That really is a strength of western culture. Also, a number of the problems you identify (like corruption or lawlessness) are due specifically to the ruling class and not society as a whole. That is one of the things that the west's populist revolution is meant to remedy.
I am not saying that all will be well. Decline and disaster do happen. But renewals and new syntheses also occur.
For some reason, the current shibboleth about why wars occur is Marxist to the core – it’s all about money. I think it’s not only BS – it’s almost always been BS. War occur because war leaders want the fruits of war – personal glory and everlasting fame. The leaders of the parties attacked don’t give in, even though this would, in many cases, be less costly, because they don’t want the fruits of defeat – personal ignominy and everlasting infamy. Putin and Xi are some of the richest men in their respective countries. They are looking to expand, not for money, but to engrave their names on the list of all-time greats. If they can’t match Alexander or Genghis Khan, they can certainly hope to challenge the perch of their hometown greats in the history books.

Let’s pray for the day when we are badly defeated, not in ambush like Pearl Harbor, not in a long and gradual morass like Afghanistan, not in an asymmetrical attack, but in a straightforward and unambiguous way. Nothing else will sober up our rulers. They need to feel visceral, existential terror or they plunge onward.

I have a feeling they won't even need to wait until then. The US will likely be in serious trouble long before, and black females will have contributed only a very small bit to that part by that time:
American whites are increasingly immune to patriotic war propaganda; the US has an incredible, unsustainable trade deficit and federal deficit; millions of illegals are pouring across the border in a fashion similar to how late-stage invasions of Rome signaled the end was near; Europe is increasingly defiant, and I wonder how much longer before there is a backlash there against all the anti-European racism from the American left; the public increasingly wants higher social spending and lower military spending as China's economy and military grows...and the democrats will soon have the demographics to make it happen; social trust is already gone; the democratic party leadership is nearing 80 and the new generation has shown that it won't be subservient to the status quo for much longer; Italy defies the US over China's Silk Road; Germany defies the US over Nordstream 2; all of Europe and most of Asia defied the US over the Chinese Asian Infrastructure Bank; Japan defies the US over transgenders and there is consistent opposition to our base in Okinawa (and there is a growing backlash against American SJWs there, too); Russia is putting troops in Venezuela and defied the US over Syria; the US seemingly can't win any wars; the US is culturally and creatively bankrupt and can't make anything original that isn't a stupid superhero movie; the days of the US having the world's reserve currency are coming to a close with these massive deficits we are running; China is dominating 5G and will soon have a viable semiconductor industry (and the world's largest radio telescope, a moon landing, and the world's largest suspension bridges and longest dams); Asian videogame companies prove that when language is not a barrier they can dominate the West culturally..... and that's just a short list. Corruption goes unchallenged, freedoms are revoked, and race relations are at a generational low. How much longer before the masses rise up and destroy the economy with a Green New Deal just like the masses put Chavez in power in Venezuela, a guy who then destroyed their oil industry?
All the warning signs are there for a great fall. I suspect that we'll start to see this in the 2020s. Russia, China, and Europe will all become much more restive when it does and Asian allies will rush to make peace with China on favorable terms before they get too strong to oppose. The sad thing is that Americans did it to themselves, demonstrating once and for all to future historians that democracy does not work in the long run, at least not with these demographics (IQ 100 normies), ancient genetics, and this level of technology.Replies: @J.Ross, @Mitchell Porter
This is not a bad review and it’s unfortunate that you don’t have a name.
I think it would be useful to compare 2019 to 2008, when Obama came to office. The malaise of the Iraq war and the WMD fiasco hung over everything. Obama had an ambitious agenda which passed for progressive at that time – for example, there was a plan to reduce CO2 emissions over the long term by instituting emissions trading. Then came the financial crisis, ‘TARP’ and various bailouts, and Obama found himself busy just managing the situation he had inherited. Social media took over the world and centralized the Internet in the cloud, identity politics and social justice activism became ubiquitous especially in his second term, and a new age of great-power competition dawned.
My point is that not all of the problems you identify will continue to amplify unchecked. Some will just evaporate, they will turn out to be phenomena of the moment. Culture in particular is very changeable. As for some of the others… The US doesn’t need China, Russia or even Europe in order to be a successful country. If they go their own way, that needn’t touch America. Indeed, a Green New Deal (a concept which is at least ten years old) potentially dovetails very well with renewed economic nationalism, and a step away from a financialized economy with oligarchs presiding over chronically indebted lower classes. At the moment it is part of a progressive wishlist that also contains items like reparations, but perhaps the latter political impulse can be redirected to something like infrastructure repair.
I would also say that the US, or the west in general, continues to have an enormous lead in science and the ability to do science. That really is a strength of western culture. Also, a number of the problems you identify (like corruption or lawlessness) are due specifically to the ruling class and not society as a whole. That is one of the things that the west’s populist revolution is meant to remedy.
I am not saying that all will be well. Decline and disaster do happen. But renewals and new syntheses also occur.
They aren’t going to be writing the sitcoms. What 1.3 billion Chinese produce over in Asia isn’t great literature, and as for humor, the Chinese are a humorless people.

I think the Obamas are too savvy and image-conscious to get wrapped up in something as sketchy as this. They didn’t go from the IL state senate to the White House in 4 years by being dumb.
Jarrett, however, always struck me as someone who really liked power and influence, but didn’t quite have the instincts about optics that the Obamas do. I have no problem imagining her thinking that she could make a call or two and make this quietly go away for an old friend.
And who knows what her relationship was with Emmanuel at the White House. Rahm has never had a reputation for making friends. Maybe he was comfortable getting in front of this to the extent he was because he knows that if it blows up, it’ll land on her.

I have no idea about this. My impression (not well researched) is that they are making it difficult for business to wrap up. The key indicator is when they start making it hard for individuals to legally leave. There is a terrific Lionel Shriver book about this topic – The Mandibles.

Almost certainly wrong on both counts. I’m not claiming she’s 100% black, but her % of black ancestry is a mirror image of her opponent’s, which is quite low. Appearance in photos depends a lot on the light, natural or artificial. Bright light can make someone appear much lighter than they really are; vice versa with dim light. Or maybe you have the two of them confused with each other. As for the religion/ethnicity of the same sex spouse, a German surnamed person from the small town in NW Illinois she’s from is not likely to be Jewish.
