The New York Times provides more details on the Obama Administration’s conspiracy to cover up the security camera footage demonstrating 6′-4″ 292 pound Michael Brown’s belligerently violent state of mind minutes before his fatal confrontation with the Ferguson police:

Earlier Saturday, in a new sign of discord among the authorities over the handling of the investigation into Mr. Brown’s death, the Justice Department said that it had opposed the release of a video that the Ferguson Police Department said showed the teenager apparently involved in a robbery at a convenience store.

The Justice Department asked the Ferguson Police Department not to release the video because of concerns that “it would roil the community further,” a United States law enforcement official said on Saturday. The Ferguson department released the video on Friday and the Justice official said it “occurred over the objection of federal authorities.” The official said a copy of the video had been in possession of federal investigators, as well, “and there were never any plans by the federal investigators to release that copy.”

The dispute showed further divisions among the authorities in the handling of the case. The surveillance video appeared to show Mr. Brown stealing a box of cigarillos. Shortly after the release of the video, Captain Johnson expressed his displeasure, saying he had not been told that the police planned to release it.

Mr. Brown’s family and many protesters accused the police of trying to harm the teenager’s reputation and to divert attention from the officer who killed him.

Obviously, at the moment the conventional wisdom is: “Well, of course, what could be more public-spirited than for the Administration to keep the public in the dark about what really happened?”

Eventually, though it will start to dawn on a few individuals that the footage that the Obama Administration kept under wraps was material evidence of high relevance. So the natural question is: Do the Obama Administration’s attempts to cover it up rise to the level of an indictable offense?

The Democrats have made clear in recent months that their strategy for the November elections is to encourage black turnout by ginning up racial rage against whites. To you and me who are familiar with the homicide statistics, the Administration’s and media’s campaign to convince volatile black potential voters that their boys are being hunted down and slaughtered en masse by white racists may sound like lunacy of the most dangerous sort.

But there are some very sharp people among the Democrats, and Michael Brown’s death was a gift to them. Unfortunately for them, the video of Brown engaging in hotheaded criminality moments before his death is deflationary toward their pyramid of paranoia.

At minimum, the American citizenry needs to find out: How high up did the cover-up conspiracy go? As was often asked 40 years ago, “What did the President know and when did he know it?

  1. Should he be? Yes. Will he be? no

  2. I don’t know this is the type of stuff that used to cost Democrats elections. Missouri still resembles traditional America hence the reluctance of Nixon to pander fully to the Black grievance lobby.

I don’t think any local or state body will bring charges against the officer unless they have near irrefutable evidence of wrong doing. By begging people to contact the FBI if they witnessed anything they are telegraphing they don’t have the evidence.

  3. “Missouri still resembles traditional America”

Too bad the GOP does not encourage White turnout by ginning up racial rage against Blacks. The GOP are too scared to engage in identity politics, unlike the Democrats who are clearly not.

I am tired of the GOP’s platform of being color blind when their opposition the DNC is certainly not into that color blind crap.

"white conservatives are the **only** people in the U.S.A. trying to ‘transcend contentious racial issues.’  Everyone else is keenly exploiting them for group advantage and personal enrichment."--John Derbyshire

Both amazing and insightful observations into the human condition regarding racial issues.

Remember, though, that total voter participation during off yr elections is roughly a third of what it is during presidential elections. Perhaps this is where a bit of Galtonesque statistical analysis would come in handy; namely, do blacks tend to vote in higher turnout numbers after a riot or what they perceive to be institutionalized racism? Perhaps, but perhaps not. And do they also tend to vote in higher numbers in an off year election because they were fired up vs what they perceive to be institutionalized racism? My guess would be not necessarily.

This year, the Administration knows that the white vote IS unified and since its evenly distributed across the country (unlike the black vote) they could be in heap big trouble come November. Also, whites tend to have higher voter turnout (both in percentages and in total numbers) than blacks.

Blacks may or may not connect Michael Browns death with voting in November but not in any significant way. It was easier to exploit Trayvon during Obama's reelection yr, but an off yr election is kind of for what? The only way it would help is for blacks to vote for a black congressional candidate (which they already are going to do anyway). Black voter turnout during off yr elections (not very high to begin with) would tend to have those spirited minded voters who are already going to turn out in November to vote.

For example, did the '92 LA riots cause more blacks to vote for Bill Clinton in November of that yr? Or were those the votes he was going to receive anyway regardless of the situation?

Absolutely wrong. Liberal whites routinely block-vote against minority candidates. How do you think Republicans held the NYC mayor 5 consecutive terms? How is Rahm going to stay in power when he's hated by black Chicagoans?

And just a few months ago in San Diego, when the very liberal Democrat Bob Filner resigned, he was replaced by a Republican, who won by 9 points, because Democrats nominated a hispanic and large numbers of liberal whites who voted for Filner defected:

Why would knowing the full story “roil” anyone? Transparency and truthfulness should be something to strive for. Those black rioters, now being in possession of the facts, can all go home now (not). It seems the administration wants racial conflict as a tool of manipulation of the public. All the conspiracy theories do turn out to have been true after all. Two more years of this garbage.

  7. “to convince volatile black potential voters that their boys are being hunted down and slaughtered en masse by white racists may sound like lunacy of the most dangerous sort”

Approximately four hundred citizens are killed by police each year in America. Of that number one hundred are black. There are forty million blacks in America. That works out to one out of four hundred thousand.

At least half of these are likely to have been the result of violent encounters where the death of the criminal was entirely justified. From perusing the stats, it appears as though many of the others were drunk, on drugs or insane. So for a sober, law abiding black person, the chances of being killed by a policeman are at least one out of a million and probably much smaller.

Blacks murder about seven thousand blacks each year. That’s seventy times more than are murdered by police, so for every black killed by a policeman, there are seventy who are killed by a fellow black.

A wise person would perceive the truth of these stats and arrange their lives accordingly.

But blacks are afeared of other blacks, and elites are afeared of speaking the truth about blacks.
So, it's much easier to bitch about white cops.

It's like there's so much black-on-asian violence, but asians are afeared of blacks--and know they won't get no sympathy from elite media on black-on-asian violence--, so the biggest anti-asian violence story has been Vincent Chin.

Everyone bitches about whites not because whites are the hardest oppressors but because they are the softest saps.

  8. Excellent point. If anything, the release of the video has quieted the national reaction. On Thursday night there was a rally in Times Square, NYC http://www.newsweek.com/4-arrested-times-square-march-ferguson-264753 After the video release on Friday, nothing nationwide.

  9. we all know how dysfunctional and 3rd world Eric Holder’s America

Eric Holder’s America extends no lower on the social scale than the professional-managerial bourgeoisie. That’s why they are able to cause the trouble they do. Your moderator is right: blacks are incidental here; Holder’s stock-in-trade is abuse of non-exotic wage earners and the common-and-garden bourgeoisie; blacks are an instrument he uses.

Prof. Karsonya Wise Whitehead of Loyola University Maryland had the prominent Op-Ed in today’s Baltimore Sun, A Necessary Conversation. It mirrors the paper’s own Advance-The-Narrative editorial, A Moment of Silence.

The URL at the end of the Op-Ed led me to Prof. Whitehead’s latest blog post, Letters to My Teenage Sons #8: Killing/Saving/Loving Black Boys… I left the following comment (#43136), which appears to be stuck in moderation.
    .

    Dear Dr. Whitehead,

The opening words of this post declare it to be a love letter to your two sons. It has 19 blocks of text. My count of the main message of each:

2 – Anger about white treatment of Blacks in current-day America.

    1 – A remark that you don’t recall the 1950s and earlier.

1 – Life for Blacks in current-day America is bad.

8 – Aspects of your feelings of fear and anger towards whites or cops.

1 – Wishing that you could raise your family in a better place than current-day America.

2 – Stating that life for Blacks in the US was worse in the past than it is now (as bad as that is).

4 – Celebrating the survival of the Black people in a hostile and hate-filled America, past and present.

I’d call that heartfelt and genuine. A love letter for your beautiful toddlers to read, some day? “Your mileage may vary,” as they say.

The title of your Op-Ed in today’s Baltimore Sun is A Necessary Conversation, referring to “a serious conversation about race.” Presumably, I’m the sort of person you’d want as part of that dialog — a thoughtful, public-spirited, gentle, non-Liberal white guy who is sympathetic to the plight of poor Black people.

But — I don’t know what I could say, that you would be willing and able to listen to.

And, I’ve read a large number of essays by promoters of “Social Justice for Blacks,” by folks like Ta-Nehisi Coates, Smiley Tavis, Alice Walker, Matthew Yglesias, and Karla Holloway. I’m not sure that there’s much that’s novel on that front, either.

More troublingly, I’ve noticed the lengths that Social Justice champions will go to, when it comes to “shaping the narrative.” You mention Ferguson, MO; the example of bad behavior that should be Page One news is Attorney General Eric Holder’s apparent participation in a conspiracy to cover up the security camera footage demonstrating Michael Brown’s belligerently violent state of mind minutes before his fatal confrontation.

Imagine a vulnerable herbalist in Dark Ages Europe, reading a public invitation from the Inquisition to participate in a Conversation about Witchcraft. Should she accept? If things don’t go well, who is at the most risk of having their life turned upside-down?

I wish you well, as does everybody on “my side.” Dr. Whitehead, I expect that you likewise wish me well, but that is certainly not the case for many of your allies. Meanwhile, my family, friends, and fellow volunteers are mostly Liberals. My days are spent in a Liberal-dominated workplace, where I value my good professional and personal relationships with people of many races and beliefs.

I regret submitting this comment under a pseudonym, but I have no wish to become the focus of the Left’s next Two Minute Hate. Many well-meaning whites feel this way — a sign of the times.

“Brown filling free hours with a friend, Wilson coming off an emergency call about a 2-month-old baby struggling to breathe.” [free hours which included shaking a man half his size like a leaf, and theft.]

“clarify points on a timeline that began with a theft of less than $50 worth of cigars from a convenience store and culminated with Brown’s death.” [theft of less than $50 worth – nothing to see here. Just a silly kid prank.]

The rest of the article focuses on his mildness of temperament and “contextualizes” his enormous size. It is full of chain-jerking lingo: “kids,” “nuanced”, etc.

    More context:

“the problem often isn’t that the occupants don’t have jobs — it’s that they don’t have good jobs.”

Maybe Google & Apple & Facebook should hire in Ferguson. After all, ““People are aspirational. They want something better for their children.” Right: they want a government job directing slush funds to their own. They have no idea what a real business is, other than to trash it.

Then the journo completely misrepresents the robbery. I saw the video a couple of times; it made me sick and I won’t look at it again. I remember that Brown takes a man half his size and shakes him like a leaf. OK, no punches – are we supposed to feel grateful to Brown for this?

I’d like to know if Brown was high when he committed the robbery. The article makes the robbery sound so out of character, is this a rude question?

Even if the cop didn’t know about the robbery, Brown’s violent, intimidating manner (and possible intoxication on some substance) contributed to the cop’s feeling of being threatened.

The underlying issue here is that the local businesses are marginal ones run by immigrant families. Family businesses are just that: they are closed shops where the employees are exploited by Father for little or no wages. African-Americans don’t have families like that: they depend on the government, and don’t have a clue about the dynamics of a family business any more than they have a clue about what a normal father-headed family is about.

“the problem often isn’t that the occupants don’t have jobs — it’s that they don’t have good jobs.”

This is the nub for me. Black folks don't want jobs (Mexican jobs, that is), they want "good" jobs, meaning "jobs that pay way more money than Mexicans get" ... and require a lot less work.

From their perspective, they have done their time in [white man's] hell and figure they can cast off those old nasty jobs, stick the Mexicans with them, and move up to "good jobs" like they deserve.

And, sadly, the Congressional Black Caucus and all the hi-yalla high achievers peddle this fantasy to them.

And the fools still vote for Obama, a man who is replacing them with cheaper, more efficient Mexicans at breakneck speed.

It also doesn't seem to dawn on them that Mexicans won't put up with their pampered silly nonsense (what LA Sheriff Leo Baca called "a race war") and are going to replace them in their neighborhoods and in the racial grievance hierarchy, by numbers alone, if nothing else.

If Ferguson whites get replaced with Mexican imports like the Mexicans replaced whites in California you are going to see a lot more dead blacks in the streets.

But if this is an ‘evil racist cop’, he’s a law official who used a gun on an ‘innocent’ and ‘unarmed’ kid.

Also, as there’s hardly any police protection for business owners, they need guns to protect their own property. So much for relying on the government for your safety and well-being.

It’s a lot like lefties and the civil rights movement, actually; they blame whites for black failure, and if whites try to defend themselves from that accusation, lefties accuse whites of racism, too.

Holder’s excuse is classic BS. I wonder if there’s a person in America who isn’t familiar with the image of an angry lynch mob suddenly quelled and sent slinking home with the relevation that the party they champion isn’t the innocent victim they believed.

This is an interesting case because, as Steve has aptly laid out, it’s fairly obvious that the Administration wanted things to get worse in Ferguson. It’s more the failure to notice than the failure to think.

  26. I don’t even see how the video is relevant. It could be a video from two years ago, for example, and would still say just as much about Brown’s character (a lot), and also just as much about whether the interaction where he was shot was legitimate (basically nothing). He wasn’t pulled over or shot for robbing a store. My Twitter puts it shortly as ” ‘Well, he was guilty anyway’ is a terrible post-facto method of judging whether the umbrella of rights protects you.”

There is one kind of ‘racism’ on the American Right that Jews don’t have a problem with.

If ‘racism’ is favoring one people over another, then how come Jews–even Liberal ones–don’t direct media criticism on the fact that so many Christian Conservatives believe that Jews/Israel deserve special favors, honor, support, and sympathy because Jews are seen as the ‘chosen’ people blessed with Abramic Covenant?

So, as long as white ‘racist’ feelings have shifted from themselves to Jews, it’s okay?

Jewish Liberalism is less about ‘anti-racism’ than about appropriating the ‘racisms’ of others to favor and serve Jews.

So, Thilo Sarrazin is bad!!!! But Germans who look the other way on the slaughter on Gaza are good since they racially favor Jews over Palestinians.

So, Jared Taylor is evil because he’s for white power.
But Walter Russell Mead is A-Okay since he goes out of his way to favor Jews uber all others.

So, Jews don’t really want us to give up our ‘racism’. They just want us to stop using it for our interest and instead to use it for the interests of Jews.
It’s like saying “You don’t have to be anti-money and burn your money as long as you spend it on us.”

  28. Steve, you have to be careful of the logical fallacy of assuming the competence of people who you disagree with, as well as the competence of the winners in American politics, when in fact elections are usually about luck and the economy.

I highly doubt that Obama wants race to factor into the 2014 election, which will, which will have the whitest electorate in the Senate for a very long time, going back or forward in time. First, the 2014 class is the most conservative and rural of the three senate classes. Second, it is a midterm, unlike 2008 and 2020, the other times this class faces election.

No. Moving left on social issues would be a stupid thing for Republicans to do. 100% of the GOP's activist energy comes from social issues. Moving left on social issues would just result in them losing everywhere. The relevant swing voters are whites who don't want to vote for corporate raiders. The guys in the windbreakers have aunts who say the Rosary in front of abortion clinics. Even if they, themselves, are not pro-life, it isn't pro-life that turns them off the Republicans. It's Mitt Romney.

If the GOP moves left on abortion or Israel, it will just lose by larger margins. Moving left on, say, taxing the rich or universal health care or card check or any number of economic issues at least holds out the prospect of being a net vote winner.

I don't think they are going to do this, however. I think they are going to move right on race---there are tentative signs of this here and there. Fox and Drudge reporting on polar bear hunting and otherwise unreported black riots. That Congressman ranting about anti-white sentiment. This NRO blog post. Moving right on race seems like a riskier strategy (in terms of getting votes) than does moving left on economics. However, since the GOP is a party for, by, and of the plutocrats, moving left on economics is a non-starter. Also, they have lots of experience with drawing whites out of the Democrat party this way. Race is how the Reagan Democrats were moved into the GOP. So, race is what we are likely to get. They have to do something, after all.

The robbery, and Brown's behavior as he casually sauntered down the center of a street meant for cars, is directly relevant to Brown's belligerent state of mind when the cop confronted him. He was in a violent, aggressive (and triumphant) mood after muscling someone into the dirt, and he wasn't gonna put up with some white mofo cop asking him to move over.

That's seventy times more than are murdered by police, so for every black killed by a policeman, there are seventy who are killed by a fellow black.

“white conservatives are the **only** people in the U.S.A. trying to ‘transcend contentious racial issues.’  Everyone else is keenly exploiting them for group advantage and personal enrichment.”–John Derbyshire

It was easier to exploit Trayvon during Obama’s reelection yr, but an off yr election is kind of for what? The only way it would help is for blacks to vote for a black congressional candidate (which they already are going to do anyway). Black voter turnout during off yr elections (not very high to begin with) would tend to have those spirited minded voters who are already going to turn out in November to vote.

For example, did the ’92 LA riots cause more blacks to vote for Bill Clinton in November of that yr? Or were those the votes he was going to receive anyway regardless of the situation?

I usually think WaPo is the better news source than the NY Times. But this piece is pure narrative disguised as reporting. It is dated August 16 so perhaps this bit of spin is already dated, but I recommend reading the whole thing.

    http://tinyurl.com/mdf2ev9

"Brown filling free hours with a friend, Wilson coming off an emergency call about a 2-month-old baby struggling to breathe." [free hours which included shaking a man half his size like a leaf, and theft.]

"clarify points on a timeline that began with a theft of less than $50 worth of cigars from a convenience store and culminated with Brown’s death." [theft of less than $50 worth - nothing to see here. Just a silly kid prank.]

The rest of the article focuses on his mildness of temperament and "contextualizes" his enormous size. It is full of chain-jerking lingo: "kids," "nuanced", etc.

    More context:

"the problem often isn’t that the occupants don’t have jobs — it’s that they don’t have good jobs."

Maybe Google & Apple & Facebook should hire in Ferguson. After all, "“People are aspirational. They want something better for their children." Right: they want a government job directing slush funds to their own. They have no idea what a real business is, other than to trash it.

Then the journo completely misrepresents the robbery. I saw the video a couple of times; it made me sick and I won't look at it again. I remember that Brown takes a man half his size and shakes him like a leaf. OK, no punches - are we supposed to feel grateful to Brown for this?

I'd like to know if Brown was high when he committed the robbery. The article makes the robbery sound so out of character, is this a rude question?

Even if the cop didn't know about the robbery, Brown's violent, intimidating manner (and possible intoxication on some substance) contributed to the cop's feeling of being threatened.

The underlying issue here is that the local businesses are marginal ones run by immigrant families. Family businesses are just that: they are closed shops where the employees are exploited by Father for little or no wages. African-Americans don't have families like that: they depend on the government, and don't have a clue about the dynamics of a family business any more than they have a clue about what a normal father-headed family is about.

“the problem often isn’t that the occupants don’t have jobs — it’s that they don’t have good jobs.”

This is the nub for me. Black folks don’t want jobs (Mexican jobs, that is), they want “good” jobs, meaning “jobs that pay way more money than Mexicans get” … and require a lot less work.

From their perspective, they have done their time in [white man’s] hell and figure they can cast off those old nasty jobs, stick the Mexicans with them, and move up to “good jobs” like they deserve.

And, sadly, the Congressional Black Caucus and all the hi-yalla high achievers peddle this fantasy to them.

And the fools still vote for Obama, a man who is replacing them with cheaper, more efficient Mexicans at breakneck speed.

It also doesn’t seem to dawn on them that Mexicans won’t put up with their pampered silly nonsense (what LA Sheriff Leo Baca called “a race war”) and are going to replace them in their neighborhoods and in the racial grievance hierarchy, by numbers alone, if nothing else.

If Ferguson whites get replaced with Mexican imports like the Mexicans replaced whites in California you are going to see a lot more dead blacks in the streets.

  52. Steve it is a stroke of genius by Holder and Obama.

What wins in American politics is DOMINANCE. That has been true since Martin Luther King and Mohammed Ali. DOMINANCE. Not money, not connections, but aggressive, socially approved, stick-it-to-White guys behavior.

THIS not KKKrazy Glue holds the Democratic Coalition together.

White women, particularly middle aged, and middle to upper middle class women, respond to this instinctively. Remember all those NYT female writers fantasizing in print about ditching their husbands for sex with Obama? They were responding to his image anyway of social dominance.

And as you noted on the Law and Order writing staff, very real anger at their husbands, for either choosing younger models, or WORSE, being unsexy and not dominant. Women will forgive anything in a dominant man, and nothing in a man who lacks it.

White women, particularly in the Middle to UMC sector, form the Democratic Coalition victory margin. Alone, Blacks and Hispanics are not quite enough. But with White women (and those White guys hoping to placate them) its enough.

People reward dominance. Nixon had to resign because he lacked that personal dominance people crave, he was nebbishy and lacking in charisma.

My guess is that Holder is successful in his attempt to make Black people legally exempt from most laws the way illegal immigrants/aliens are exempt. For example, TSA will give an ordinary White citizen a full cavity search when flying on planes, but exempts illegals on order from Holder from searches and document checks. Ordinary White guys have to supply birth certificates, passports, drivers licences etc. but illegals get a formal pass on cars being impounded for not having insurance, while White guys MUST HAVE THE PAPERS.

And this formal third tier status is due to White guys being unsexy and being punished for it. As Heartiste notes, few have even comprehended the impact of the pill and condoms on Western Society. To that I’d add female oriented consumerism which pushes the culture inevitably female, and thus inevitably anti-White guy (because overwhelmingly we are not dominant/charismatic/threatening).

Ferguson MO is a power shoving match. Think Sumo fighters or linemen in a Big Ten football game.

[If you wanted to impeach Obama, his desire not to enforce laws he doesn’t like and make up his own that he enforces is the Constitutional way, but he’s Black and thus untouchable because of his perceived dominance edge.]

  53. A video on Fox News Channel showed Captain Johnson in Ferguson just admitting to a Black church crowd that his Black son dresses like a “stereotypical” African American male and sags his pants.

He was basically trying to say that he can personally relate to Black mothers who’s sons are always profiled by law enforcement because of the way they dress.

  54. “2 – Anger about white treatment of Blacks in current-day America.”

How exactly do Whites treat Blacks in current day America ? According to interracial crime statistics, there does not seem to be an epidemic in this country of Whites who hate Blacks so much that they just want to go out and violently hurt the first Black person they see.

  55. Guys Lot has it figured out. If the Republicans become Democrats, then maybe the Democrats will accidentally vote for them. Even better Republicans should do like in that Eddie Murphy goes to Washington movie and legally change their name to be the same as the Democrat. Think how even more votes Pat Buchanan would have gotten in West Palm Beach if he had changed his name to Al Gore.

Basically Lot is just a ultra leftist who for some reason dislikes blacks and Mexicans. The only people I know like that are gay, but there are probably others. Like maybe a guy who got cuckholded by a black guy. But I’m sure he has the best interest of traditional conservatives and the Republican party at heart. Unless… Lincoln Chafee is that you. You sly dog never would have guessed you were an isteve reader.

  56. anon • Disclaimer says:

This isn’t hard logic. The fact that the cop may not have known that Brown strong-arm robbed less than ten minutes ago is almost surely a more dangerous scenario than if he had known. If he had known, he would have been far more cautious in his approach and much less likely to be caught off guard and have to react in a split second to a danger he wasn’t expecting.

Brown, on the other hand, had to assume that the cops were stopping him for a robbery that could land him in jail for a good piece of time. So he was in the frame of mind to use any means necessary to escape this fate. Put those two frames of mind together and you have a very volatile situation.

That was Brown’s attitude when he stole the cigars. The main issue about the robbery isn’t that Brown stole $50 worth of cigars but that his behavior was used to pushing people around and getting things his way. He felt entitled as the big dawg pushing around the little dawgs. That was his world-view. He be the big bear and other critters better not stand in his way. Little dawgs were supposed to cower before his power.

But then the dumbass came upon a policeman whose job is to stand up to thugs like him.
Big bear charged and got shot.

  65. Noumenon72 says: I don’t even see how the video is relevant. He wasn’t pulled over or shot for robbing a store.

He was pulled over and shot for being a violent, aggressive asshole. The store video shows him being a violent, aggressive asshole, thus making it much more likely that the cops story is the correct one and that Brown’s buddies story about him being an innocent altar-boy shot in the back with his hands up is a complete crock.

How is this not obvious to everyone?

  66. OK, I understand now as I didn’t upthread how the video informs Brown’s state of mind on being confronted by a cop. This Popehat Lawsplainer is a great resource to link to supporting this.

  67. Blacks are physically stronger and more aggressive than other races.

More aggressive, probably. Physically stronger, no.

  68. The shooting of a Black thug by a White police officer gets way more media attention than the Holocaust of innocent Christians that is going on in Iraq.

It just shows how pro-Black and anti-Christian the liberal media is.

  69. iSteveFan says:

Too bad the GOP does not encourage White turnout by ginning up racial rage against Blacks. The GOP are too scared to engage in identity politics, unlike the Democrats who are clearly not.

It helps if the media is on your side. When the republicans attempt to point out black dysfunction, the media denounces them for pursuing the ‘Southern Strategy’. Of course even when they do this strategy, they can never come out and say it in plain English. They use pictures of Willie Horton, thanks Al Gore, and code words like ‘welfare queen’ to get their point across, while the media condemns them.

The democrats get to come right out and say that whitey is bad and the media chips in with op-eds and highly selective suppression of stories that might counter the democrats’ theme.

Michael Eric “The Fat Ass Who Gets Beaucoup Black and White Liberal Tail Because He’s Like Totally Dreamy For Mixing in All Those Gigantic Words Where Their Not Necessary” Dyson (Seriously, does this guy have pictures of Bob Schieffer or something? 71. Why not release the autopsy? Even if it is a hack job, it will clarify if he was shot in the back or front. I also wonder if he had a juvenile record. Sure it is sealed, but nothing is private anymore. Or at least for long.

It simply doesn’t make sense that he was a gentle giant and then turned aggressive bully one morning. Everything always comes out. And jesus … Swisher Sweets? Another example of the utter stupidity of most criminal activity.

It does absolutely no good to be partially transparent. Autopsy, policeman’s injury photo and medical record, Facebook page with hip hop and gang poses, the ‘gentle giant’s’ prior history of violence (or absence) — I am not convinced that the kid was a thug, even after the cigar robbery.

It simply isn’t that hard. The police have to know if it was a legitimate use of deadly force or not. And I don’t mean on a technicality. It has to be pretty clear cut. Like it or not, the burden of proof is on the police.

In Chicago, murder is black on black or hispanic/black. Every 24 hours, a black murders another black in Chicago. Whites aren’t killed by blacks. Or very seldomly — it is an above the fold news item. Most of the white murders are family members or lovers killing each other. And speaking of statistics, most blacks in Chicago and the US are good citizens. Even if most criminals are black, it doesn’t mean most blacks are criminals. The truth is awful enough.

As far as white guilt, they SHOULD feel guilty about fueling the gangster rap music and associated culture. Wherever the money came from, it wasn’t from the ghettos.

Hospital - another black male night nurse put on my father's diaper in a manner that strangled his testicles and then left him like that for hours. 3. Same black male nurse slept through shift in bed next to my father - both these guys discouraged my dad from asking for water. 4. Both these black male nurses handled my dad roughly during cleaning, feeding and dressing. 5. Nursing home - black female aide yelled at my father for spilling a plastic urinal bottle in bed (she wouldn't give him more than one and wouldn't empty that one - I had a meeting with the entire staff over this problem) and put him in a diaper causing such a painful urinary tract infection that he was screaming in agony. 5. Assisted Living - private black male aide - the staff at this wonderful institution reported my father's aide to the contractor for being inattentive. Lots of lovely, kind black workers at these places, but just like out in the real world, the bad apples are almost always black- especially if they look like Brown and/or his mother. Also harrassed, they walk around like they think they own the town and you need to give them RESPECK. That’s the cops, not the blacks, but it’s hard to distinguish. Numerous cases of police brutality are documented against whites, not just against blacks. They’re a much bigger danger to you than blacks are.

In fact white citizens could probably suppress black crime in the USA in a matter of months if allowed to do so; the militarized police state protects the blacks, not you. USgov HAS NO INTEREST in ending gang crime and this kind of thing. It’s called anarchotyranny, look it up.

I've had approaching a decade of experience with nursing homes, assisted livings and hospitals. Never had a problem with the whites, Hispanics and Filipinos. Several bad incidents with blacks: 1.Hospital - Black male night nurse poured water into my stoke-victim father's mouth till he gagged - several times until I reported him. 2. Sorry, but I do put stock in physiognomy and my experience with nursing homes has only solidified it. Had three black home health aides, one was a fantastic person, one was eccentric but very attentive, one very dumb but adequate and reliable - I am indebted to them all.

But, thanks black hospital/nursing home workers, you've managed to change my whole perspective on euthanasia, abortion(yours) and religion.

If you are wondering why these problems happened more than once, consider that my dad feared payback and didn't tell me until it was intolerable and as he got more confused he couldn't pin a name on the actors. The fact that most of them had weird unfamiliar black names didn't help.

    So, what's your experience been?

You guys are idiots. When's the last time a black harrassed you or stole from you and a cop protected you? I'm not denying black criminality btw, but how many white citizens are harrassed and robbed by blacks, as opposed to harrassed and robbed by cops? I know I've been robbed (oh sorry, "traffic violations") by cops a hell of a lot more than by blacks. Also harrassed, they walk around like they think they own the town and you need to give them RESPECK. That's the cops, not the blacks, but it's hard to distinguish. Numerous cases of police brutality are documented against whites, not just against blacks. They're a much bigger danger to you than blacks are.

In fact white citizens could probably suppress black crime in the USA in a matter of months if allowed to do so; the militarized police state protects the blacks, not you. USgov HAS NO INTEREST in ending gang crime and this kind of thing. It's called anarchotyranny, look it up.

USA anarchotyranny depends on having dumbass castrated white men talk about "our men and women in uniform" and defend the pigs during one of these theater events like Ferguson. The cops and the blacks are working together against you, dumbass.

Paul Craig Roberts' article here shows that the police didn't know about the robbery at the time of the shooting and this isn't why they stopped Brown. So, why is it relevant? Because it gives cover to violent pigs?

I'm personally a LOT more worried about police, and been robbed by them a lot more often roadside, than I am about blacks. Siding with police in this case just because the guy is black is self-defeating. Brown may have been a thug but this doesn't excuse police brutality. What about the the cowardly cops who killed that fat asthmatic middle aged black man a few weeks back and then made up a story that he was a ciggarette smuggler? There's a video of them killing him in that case, so, you judge for yourself. The point is that everything in this case backs up Brown's friend's story, I can totally see a cop chimping out because the door ricocheted back on him.

A cop harrassed me a few weeks ago over something so ridiculous. If I had had less self control the situation would have gotten very ugly very fast. Then after killing me maybe they would have made up a story about me, and credulous naifs would be repeating it. A lot of victims of police brutality are white. A lot are maimed for life. No. Moving left on social issues would be a stupid thing for Republicans to do. 100% of the GOP’s activist energy comes from social issues. Moving left on social issues would just result in them losing everywhere. The relevant swing voters are whites who don’t want to vote for corporate raiders. The guys in the windbreakers have aunts who say the Rosary in front of abortion clinics. Even if they, themselves, are not pro-life, it isn’t pro-life that turns them off the Republicans. It’s Mitt Romney.

If the GOP moves left on abortion or Israel, it will just lose by larger margins. Moving left on, say, taxing the rich or universal health care or card check or any number of economic issues at least holds out the prospect of being a net vote winner.

I don’t think they are going to do this, however. I think they are going to move right on race—there are tentative signs of this here and there.

  108. No, that does not tell me that. That tells me that a large share of taxpayers do not have a federal income tax liability. It tells me nothing about the payroll taxes they are responsible for, the property taxes they are responsible for, the effect of consumption taxes on their real income, or the benefits they receive from public agencies. Ha ha. Yeah, I guess that blacks and Hispanics are all great property owners after Bush's push to have the banks become predatory lenders.

Not paying federal taxes generally means they also do not pay state taxes and they are eligible for EBT cards, their kids get free lunches at school and they do not contribute to the glorified baby sitting their kids get, plus a whole host of other benefits that those of us who pay taxes don't get.

  109. Detroit went broke because their Black taxpayer base is very small.

Most Black households in Detroit do not make enough money to pay income taxes and you can not pay for infrastructure in Detroit if there are few taxpayers to pick up the tab.

Not enough Black taxpayers in Detroit to maintain the roads, schools, public transportation, etc so the great White hope had to save their Black butts again.

Detroit does not have a strong enough Black middle class to keep that city afloat, if they did you would not be seeing a high percentage of Black Detroit residents having a hard time paying their water bills.

It takes some math. It used to be on a web page titled, “The Recipient Class,” at http://www.success-and-culture.net/articles/recip.shtml, but the site went down some time in the last year or two, IIRC. I have it saved on my drive, but comment forms don’t handle tables well, so the data’s a mess. If you know of a place where I can just upload the html file without a registration process, I’d be glad to upload it.

(4/8/01) Since the 1980’s the Census Bureau has been calculating U.S. Incomes after both taxes and benefits have been accounted for. The results of this research seems to be one of the most underreported stories in our society. I think this research deserves a closer look.

The above numbers are all for 1999. The numbers are from a Census Bureau PDF file that can be found at: http://www.census.gov/prod/2000pubs/p60-209.pdf. The first thing that jumps out are the racial disparities. The Census Bureau figures are for households but by dividing by the average household size for each race we find that Blacks and Hispanics are each receiving more in benefits than they are paying in taxes. Black people who live to be 65 will receive an average of over $46,000 more in benefits that what they will pay in taxes. This is relevant to the slave reparations debate because $46,000 is right around the figures that black leaders have been asking for in reparations. In addition to receiving direct government benefits in the form of cash blacks receive the same indirect government benefits such as highways and bridges that whites pay $651 a year for. What also jumps out from these figures is how much Asians are paying, more than twice what Whites pay.

The second fact that jumps jumps out is the disparity between two parent families and single mothers. Two parent families pay $8,801 more in taxes each year than they receive in benefits. This is a substantial amount of money and it seems to be going to single mother families, which receive $4,141 more each year than they pay.

It is clear that the disparity between families explains the racial disparity.
