So the latest fad is for mobs of white BLM peaceful protesters to demand that diners give a Black Power clenched fist salute to show they are down with the cause. If anyone doesn’t do as they are told, they get screamed at:

The young woman in pink valiantly refuses to demean herself.

Cursory view of his Daily News articles looks like he doesn't like sports, rather likes covering how evil white people are, the lack of diversity, et al.

The internet has done a few things to the sports page. Nobody is waiting around for results or post game reactions. By the time you can buy a newspaper, it's already here. The Daily new,s for example, has gone from the biggest newspaper in NY to a pamphlet.

And content wise, Modiano himself doens't offer much. Most pro sports teams and leagues have their own websites putting put data and content in real time, and media partnerships. This exposed guys like Modiano really have no more idea what they're watching than anyone else. Chuck is not breaking down the Cover 2 defense, nor a hockey trap system. And every sport now has Bill James-like statistical breakdowns at your fingertips.

So all that's left for a Mike Lupica wannabee is social justice.

So he trailed along to watch sweaty lesbians harass people eating dinner. His parents must be so proud..

Look I grind my teeth having to do this, I will say this in this guy's defense.

Ever notice how few ex-pro athletes are able to stay lean post retirement when they go into broadcasting?

For them you know its not the genes, or knowledge of how to stay fit, or the discipline or will-power.

Today, sport media is one the most impossibly politically correct businesses around, being associated with it has to kill one's testosterone levels.

Well, in fairness, you can see how a low-IQ celebrity is powerless in the face of such powerful propaganda. After-all, if someone writes something in a four-panel graphic it must be true!

But -- what are the odds, almost every word is a lie.

"Unarmed" -- probably false. Witnesses say the cops shouted at Blake to "drop the knife."

"No gun" -- probably false. He was arrested for pulling a gun in a bar 5 years ago. Odds are high he had one in the car.

    "No struggle" -- Definitely false.

"He was just walking away" -- Definitely false. He had a warrant for sexual assault. Cops tasered him and wrestled him to the ground to arrest him, but he got free and disregarded all warnings as he was either trying to escape or get a gun from his car.

  7. That they included ‘white silence is violence’ part reminds me of this from the BLM protests in Stockholm. Where a young Swedish police woman broke down from her sense of being made ‘not okay’ and ostracised. Notice her partner seems more psychologically akin to the woman in the restaurant and doesn’t take the protestors seriously.

Notice also the absence of Swedish men (Or men in general) in the crowd. (There is at least one white guy but he looks cluster B as hell and you can’t be sure he doesn’t have an ‘immigrant background’ himself.) Also note the sign being in English and the over-representation of Asian women. They are too young to be from the Vietnamese orphan cohort who were brought to Sweden and Denmark at the end of the Vietnam war and don’t look mixed race enough to likely be the second generation.

Looks like their parents moved to Sweden in the 90s/00s. One would suspect they would be the most crazy. Hyper-conscientious, more neurotic, more exposure to higher education, guilt/shame/confusion of being constantly in relationships with Swedish men and racial alienation (Exacerbated by higher rates of neuroticism that will read ‘racism’ where there is none) are a potent mix.

Contrast with the attitudes of young male Swedish policemen on the same day with maybe a lot of the same protestors. Men just don’t care about other people’s opinions as much because their interpersonal relationships aren’t impacted as much. Imagine how violent the world would be if men ostracised their friends or demonised strangers for wrong-think with the same intensity as women do.

Actually I suppose we do have examples of that with religious civil wars in Europe during the reformation. By all accounts some of the most brutal wars in European history. It also seemed that sectarianism deeply intensified traditional inter-ethnic conflict and wars even where the two groups didn’t overlap to cause tension from religious segregation.

What you have written is misleading, Steve. It was reported that the video clip of this particular incident of harassment captures a point in time after Whites in the group had been ordered by POCs to step forward and be at the forefront of the interaction with this individual.

Also, this individual told the group that she agrees with BLM and had marched with them many times.

Here is video of another incident that probably gives a more accurate picture of the dynamics of the harassment campaign. In it, a POC screams into the face of a young White man as he tries to dine with his date.

Cursory view of his Daily News articles looks like he doesn’t like sports, rather likes covering how evil white people are, the lack of diversity, et al.

The internet has done a few things to the sports page. Nobody is waiting around for results or post game reactions. By the time you can buy a newspaper, it’s already here. The Daily new,s for example, has gone from the biggest newspaper in NY to a pamphlet.

And content wise, Modiano himself doens’t offer much. Most pro sports teams and leagues have their own websites putting put data and content in real time, and media partnerships. This exposed guys like Modiano really have no more idea what they’re watching than anyone else. Chuck is not breaking down the Cover 2 defense, nor a hockey trap system. And every sport now has Bill James-like statistical breakdowns at your fingertips.

So all that’s left for a Mike Lupica wannabee is social justice.

So he trailed along to watch sweaty lesbians harass people eating dinner. His parents must be so proud..

If transported in time, these Antifa/BLMers would have been witch-hunters in 1690's New England, Jacobins in 1790's France, brownshirts in 1920's Germany, and Red Guards in 1960's China.

We have to do more to destroy the "Democrats are the real racists" meme. It has reached levels that should not be possible. The average conservative now leads with DR3 as their main argument. DR3 is absolutely incompatible with even the most mild expressions of pro-white sentiment. These morons are even attacking Biden for opposing forced busing in the 1970's on DR3 grounds. Think about that.

We really need to prioritize fighting DR3. Since Trump was elected, the alt-right has been rudderless and has failed to do anything to advance our agenda. DR3 is the lowest hanging fruit. It's the easiest fallacy to attack and we need to make doing that our main focus for now. If we can't defeat DR3, there is no way we can make political progress.

Let's start by purging DR3 rhetoric from our own spaces. Don't let it slide. Call it out every time and don't stop until these yahoos shut up.

That they included 'white silence is violence' part reminds me of this from the BLM protests in Stockholm. Where a young Swedish police woman broke down from her sense of being made 'not okay' and ostracised. Notice her partner seems more psychologically akin to the woman in the restaurant and doesn't take the protestors seriously.

    https://twitter.com/SamnyttSimon/status/1268266061801160711

Notice also the absence of Swedish men (Or men in general) in the crowd. (There is at least one white guy but he looks cluster B as hell and you can't be sure he doesn't have an 'immigrant background' himself.) Also note the sign being in English and the over-representation of Asian women. They are too young to be from the Vietnamese orphan cohort who were brought to Sweden and Denmark at the end of the Vietnam war and don't look mixed race enough to likely be the second generation.

Looks like their parents moved to Sweden in the 90s/00s. One would suspect they would be the most crazy. Hyper-conscientious, more neurotic, more exposure to higher education, guilt/shame/confusion of being constantly in relationships with Swedish men and racial alienation (Exacerbated by higher rates of neuroticism that will read 'racism' where there is none) are a potent mix.

Contrast with the attitudes of young male Swedish policemen on the same day with maybe a lot of the same protestors. Men just don't care about other people's opinions as much because their interpersonal relationships aren't impacted as much. Imagine how violent the world would be if men ostracised their friends or demonised strangers for wrong-think with the same intensity as women do.

Actually I suppose we do have examples of that with religious civil wars in Europe during the reformation. By all accounts some of the most brutal wars in European history. It also seemed that sectarianism deeply intensified traditional inter-ethnic conflict and wars even where the two groups didn't overlap to cause tension from religious segregation.

So the latest fad is for mobs of white BLM peaceful protesters to demand that diners give a Black Power clenched fist salute to show they are down with the cause.

I also recommend Benjamin Boyce's multi-part documentary on Evergreen, it's chilling and fascinating at the same time, and includes a lot of footage of the type of madness that we see here. Bret warned us all that this would eventually escape the halls of academia and spill out into the real world. I also agree this is just the beginning, as they are practically being encouraged to do this, and they're getting bolder and bolder.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_ash_borer#Range

The native range of the emerald ash borer is temperate north-eastern Asia, which includes Russia, Mongolia, northern China, Japan, and Korea.[10][9]

The beetle is invasive in North America where it has a core population in Michigan and surrounding states and provinces. Populations are more scattered outside the core area, and the edges of its known distribution range north to Ontario, south to northern Louisiana, west to Colorado, and east to Massachusetts.[11]

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_ash_borer#Invasiveness

Outside its native range, emerald ash borer is an invasive species that is highly destructive to ash trees in its introduced range.[21] Prior to emerald ash borer being found in North America, very little was known about the insect in its native range aside from a short description of life-history traits and taxonomic descriptions, which resulted in focused research on its biology in North America.[7] The insect was first identified in Canton, Michigan, in 2002, but it may have been in the U.S. since the late 1980s.[22] It is suspected that it was introduced from overseas in shipping materials such as packing crates.[23]

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraxinus_americana#Emerald_ash_borer

In North America the emerald ash borer is an invasive species, highly destructive to ash trees in its introduced range. The damage of this insect rivals that of chestnut blight and Dutch elm disease.[23] To put its damage in perspective, the number of chestnuts killed by the chestnut blight was around 3.5 billion chestnut trees while there are 3.5 billion ash trees in Ohio alone. Dutch elm disease killed only 200 million elm trees while EAB threatens 7.5 billion ash trees in the United States. The insect threatens the entire North American genus Fraxinus. Since its accidental introduction into the United States and Canada in the 1990s, and its subsequent detection in 2002, it has spread to eleven states and adjacent parts of Canada. It has killed at least 50 million ash trees so far and threatens to kill most of the ash trees throughout North America.

The Second Department of China's People's Liberation Army, which is the PLA's intelligence unit, sent staff members from a large network company, with fake IDs, to China's Consulate in Houston.

Those technicians used a large video platform's backend data to identify people who might participate in the Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA's protests and then created and sent them customized videos on how to organize riots and how to do promotions.

The purpose was to "weaponize" big data technology. It delivered relevant materials precisely to those people who were most likely to participate in the protests, while other people could not even find those videos.

When? And compared to whom among their contemporaries? Stanley Rothman and Robert Lichter did a mess of social survey research on different occupational groups and in 1982 published some data comparing reporters and editors employed by a set of large audience news outlets with a sample of business executives. The median birth cohort of those sampled would have been around 1940. One odd surprise: the journalists had tonier backgrounds than the executives. Cherry-picking, it's not hard to find prominent journalists from older cohorts who grew up in what were bourgeois households in the strict sense and / or had some tertiary schooling. (H.L Mencken, Edward R Murrow, William Shirer, John Cameron Swayze, John Charles Daly, Dorothy Kilgallan, Walter Cronkite, Mike Wallace, Daniel Schorr, and David Brinkley would be examples).

This is claimed to be a translation of an account by Radio Free Asia, a US government-funded broadcasting entity. (The RFA article is in Chinese; I can't vouch for the translation.)

RFA did not spell out the company names. A Twitter account said the technicians were from Huawei and the video platform they used to identify candidates and push videos to was TikTok.

The last straw that overwhelms the Houston Consulate

    Radio Free Asia

The translation isn't great, but the story is at least about the shuttering of the Houston Consulate. This seems to be a "heard on the street" column -- 'whistleblowers,' 'reports,' and 'sources' say...

    Credibility is low.

    The raw translation follows.

Last time the whistleblower mentioned that Citi State knew that the consulate of the powerful nation in Houston had a ghost horse; but Citi State has been standing still. In the end, what caused the invasion and invaders to decide to issue an order to remove the guest?

It turned out that Citigroup was killed in June because of the death of an African-American man Freud in police violence, triggering national protests. The powerful country even took advantage of this opportunity to fight "unrestricted warfare" to defeat the invasion, preventing him from being re-elected. According to reports, the Second Department of the General Staff of the People’s Liberation Army recruited people from a major Internet company, used false identities to go to the Houston consulate, used the background data of a major audio-visual platform in the powerful country to assist BLM and ANTIFA, and sent "tailor-made" to African Americans. A promotional video for the riot organization; in a word, it is to "weaponize" big data. In short, what a rumor, believe it or not!

The "benefits" of using big data to incite riots is that it can accurately target and promote relevant information to the people most likely to participate in the riots. Most people who want to search cannot find these short videos; this trick is highly concealed, and it is said that the FBI was initially deceived. In the dark, but there was a rumor that some people in the consulate wanted to make a change and told the FBI about the top secret. As for the follow-up development including closing the embassy and dealing with TikTok (TikTok International Edition), everyone knows. The two events of "closing the consulate" and "investigating TikTok" seem to be unrelated, but they may actually be the same thing!

I think that sports journalists are about as Leftist as other journalists (very) but they feel frustrated because usually their work does not allow them to signal and tout their Leftism directly. So they do so on Twitter and otherwise outside of work. When someone like Kaepernick allows them to combine their work of sports reporting and their true love of Leftism, they go wild - you'll never work a day in your life if you do something that you love.

I am shocked, shocked, to find out that there are sports reporters who are not the world's finest journalists.,

When I was growing up, my father told me that one of the most famous sports writers in NYC was a complete idiot. Back in the 40s or early 50s, my father had a conversation with some famous reporter -- he never told me the name. The reporter claimed some baseball player would never make it in the big leagues because he was too Catholic. Supposedly going to Mass instead of a bar made the guy a bad player.

Back in the 1970s and early 1980s, the sports reporters in Philadelphia were a group of complete morons. At one point, almost the entire Phillies team refused to speak to reporters. The only thing the Phllies players hated more than the Philadelphia sports reporters were the New York sports reporters.

I remember before the 1980 World Series, the NY reporters spent the whole time bashing Philadelphia and the Phillies. They were upset the Yankees weren't in the series. The one player the NY reporters liked was Tug McGraw, who had previously played for the Mets and was well liked by the NY reporters.

The admiration wasn't mutual. McGraw had this to say:

Leftist intolerance crowds out3 right-wing tolerance.,

Those elements of Western and Anglo-Saxon culture, which prize even-handedness and “fair play,” are turned against the culture itself4.

    The football analogy

The leftist football team disobeys the rules, plays foul constantly, with impunity. Nevertheless, the right wing team rigorously obeys the games’ rules, and always plays fair.

Disparate impact5 requires equal number of punishments for foul playing leftists as for rule abiding right team members. It would be unfair (disparate impact) to unevenly hand out more red cards or disqualifications to the constantly offending leftist players6.

Imagine worse, the right thinks that fairness and equity require passing the ball to the enemy team 50% of the time.

Each one of these items creates a clear trend for Leftists to advance and win long term.

With such biased unequal rules and difference in behavior, leftist victory is a mathematical certainty. The long march through institutions7 is a one way road. Constant long term left bias wins against a center right group that is honest and unbiased. Sometimes, oh irony, Leftists and Rightists make a “fair” “just” compromise, to meet in the middle of Leftist lies and Rightist Truth.

This time the Left was merciful and did not punish the dissidents and “right wing extremists” for their violent silence. Soon such people will be dealt with more severely and street justice be meted out.

The powerful country even took advantage of this opportunity to fight “unrestricted warfare” to defeat the invasion, preventing him from being re-elected. According to reports, the Second Department of the General Staff of the People’s Liberation Army recruited people from a major Internet company, used false identities to go to the Houston consulate, used the background data of a major audio-visual platform in the powerful country to assist BLM and ANTIFA, and sent “tailor-made” to African Americans. A promotional video for the riot organization; in a word, it is to “weaponize” big data. In short, what a rumor, believe it or not!

The “benefits” of using big data to incite riots is that it can accurately target and promote relevant information to the people most likely to participate in the riots. The two events of “closing the consulate” and “investigating TikTok” seem to be unrelated, but they may actually be the same thing!

A shocking sign of the accelerated drift towards anarchist radical Leftism.
Unfortunately, the leftward drift is a mathematical certainty and cannot be stopped by nice non-leftists, as O' Sullivan's Law or Conquests second law predict

    sincerity.net/left-wing-wins-osullivan/

This time the Left was merciful and did not punish the dissidents and "right wing extremists" for their violent silence. Soon such people will be dealt with more severely and street justice be meted out.

I also recommend Benjamin Boyce’s multi-part documentary on Evergreen, it’s chilling and fascinating at the same time, and includes a lot of footage of the type of madness that we see here. Back when fans paid attention to sportswriters (i.e. when their opinions mattered), and still a time when racially segregated sports leagues were part of popular culture, the sportswriters were colluding with White players to denigrate the excellence of Black athletes.

I am shocked, shocked, to find out that there are sports reporters who are not the world’s finest journalists.,

When I was growing up, my father told me that one of the most famous sports writers in NYC was a complete idiot. Back in the 40s or early 50s, my father had a conversation with some famous reporter — he never told me the name.

They were upset the Yankees weren’t in the series. The one player the NY reporters liked was Tug McGraw, who had previously played for the Mets and was well liked by the NY reporters.

The admiration wasn’t mutual. McGraw had this to say:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_ash_borer#Range

The ash is having a tough old time in Europe also

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hymenoscyphus_fraxineus

Since around 20% of the trees in Central Scotland are ash, the dieback is becoming more and more obvious. To my non scientific eye, there are a few little groves that are resisting after initial attacks*. I hope that the same can be identified for the American devastations.

If transported in time, these Antifa/BLMers would have been witch-hunters in 1690's New England, Jacobins in 1790's France, brownshirts in 1920's Germany, and Red Guards in 1960's China.

We have to do more to destroy the “Democrats are the real racists” meme. It has reached levels that should not be possible. The average conservative now leads with DR3 as their main argument. DR3 is absolutely incompatible with even the most mild expressions of pro-white sentiment. These morons are even attacking Biden for opposing forced busing in the 1970’s on DR3 grounds. Think about that.

We really need to prioritize fighting DR3. Since Trump was elected, the alt-right has been rudderless and has failed to do anything to advance our agenda. DR3 is the lowest hanging fruit. It’s the easiest fallacy to attack and we need to make doing that our main focus for now. If we can’t defeat DR3, there is no way we can make political progress.

Let’s start by purging DR3 rhetoric from our own spaces. Don’t let it slide. Call it out every time and don’t stop until these yahoos shut up.

No, you don’t get it. Antifa, if they were in 1930’s Germany, would be communists, just like antifa is now. All you do when you say things like that is make yourself look stupid and reinforce the other side’s narrative. Above all, you are factually wrong. Read up on 1930’s Germany. The NSDAP in no way attracted the kind of people who antifa does – down and out street drug addicts, sex offenders, homosexual activists, mentally ill transexuals, left wing activists and ultra-liberals students. It was a party of people who were patriotic, oriented towards traditional values and against social disorder. Much like today’s GOP.

You are talking about a handful of eccentric Nazi leaders, not the party base. Those men were not like modern antifa members socially or psychologically. They were militarists, nationalists and social conservatives. If some were addicted to drugs, they became so due to war injuries or taking drugs given by doctors intended to enhance performance. They were not part of drug using, rebellion oriented social subcultures like the modern left in America. It's sloppy thinking to not draw that distinction. The same kinds of distinctions are relevant with the other things you bring up. WTF do Ouija boards have to do with antifa? Nothing. The kind of people who are in antifa today would not have been NSDAP party members, they would have been communists and socialists.

AFAIK, not necessarily. E.g., blocking a person's path, preventing him from retreating, surrounding him and making threats (whether verbally, or pointing weapons, lighting Molotov cocktails, etc.), etc., can all be considered assault, or kidnapping, or the like, or at least, justification for the use of self-defense, AFAIK. IANAL, but based on what I've read, in most jurisdictions, the criterion is contextual, and amounts to a jury's idea of a reasonable fear for life and limb, though things do vary widely from state to state, with many historically democrat-run states being more restrictive, imposing a duty to retreat, etc.
