Meanwhile, at The Grove, in LA, a news helicopter spied some looters (white folks) had somehow gotten into the Grove ( a popular LA Outside mall) and were crowding around Nordstrom’s. It looked like they gained entry. Cops must have seen the feed, and they went batshit. Nordstrom’s looters ran for their lives, as they should have. Now the police are confronting crowds all around, telling everyone to leave. Getting them away ferromagnetic the Grove. Seem to still be in control so far.

The poor Reporter girl on local CBS covering happenings at the Grove sounds like she shit her pants. They should replace her. She’s terrified. Doesn’t inspire viewer confidence.

A surreal scene in Beverley Hills – a lot of white “lefties” trying to loot Rodeo Drive in the name of BLM. Nothing shows that you are a proud SJW like a memento from Tiffany’s. The LA brass finally decided they care – at this rate the mayor’s residence might be looted next.

    Maybe, maybe not.

Interest rates are near zero for institutional borrowers precisely because investment doesn't generate the repayment schedule whose time discounted value exceeds the value of the loan. There isn't any point in replacing a retail store that was generating a predictable loss every year, same with apartment buildings, etc. Cities couldn't keep their basic infrastructure maintained _before_ the riots of this week (2020-05-31).
Drive around the old regional centers, cities like Shreveport. LA. No riots, but the no stores, either. All abandoned years ago. Search for "Abandoned malls". I'm predicting the past here -- the fate of the regional centers and shopping malls has been descending on the cities, and will descend more quickly now.

I'm fairly sure that replacing things you have (e.g. ruined buildings and the goods contained therein) and believing the process to be an economic boon falls under the "broken window fallacy."

Replacing things you once had (like, say, a serviceable window) means that, economically, you are running in place. Sure, the construction companies might benefit in this case, but what about businesses that had planned to expand their locations? Or carry more stock?

All the money to do those newer, more desirable things will be eaten up to get those businesses back to where they already were.

The stock market will roaring on Monday.

Your guess is is good as mine. I was rather under the impression that financial markets favour conditions that indicate stability and frown upon (or "correct" for) conditions that indicate uncertainty (e.g. riots and wars). However, I'd hate to put money on anything at this point.

  8. The FBI has already obtained another Dossier , which cannot be discredited , claiming that White nationalists conspired with Russian agents to infiltrate Antifa to instigate riots across American cities to help Trump win the 2020 election. members of the Trump administration colluded with foreign agents to interfere in the political process to make it appear that Blacks are engaging in violent riots across the nation. The secret Dossier is being kept from the public for now, but will probably be leaked to numerous media outlets in September. This time Jared Kushner will be identified as a co-conspirator , along with Donald Trump Jr., as they both were outed as Russian agents working directly with Putin to orchestrate the riots. This is why CNN was a target of the violence, as Trump wanted to ensure his enemies were attacked by the protestors.

Tonight it’s all over and mixed with definite gunshots. Last night, a lot of sirens over hours (one of the nice things about the lockdown initially was the clear roads and temporarily reduced crime).

I find it mind boggling why a single person would try to take on dozens of blacks with a weapon like a sword, you might manage to take out one or two but they'll quickly jump you and beat you to death.

In such a situation the only thing that might save you is some sort of machine gun, and that's only a maybe. Trying to use a sword in that situation is practically suicidal, all you would do is severely anger the mob and give them the perceived justification to bash your brains out.

There was another American who tried to take on the mob with a bow and arrow, and got jumped and beaten as well although not as badly. Why do so many think they can take on whole crowds of thugs with these sorts of weapons? Watching too many Hollywood action films?
