Press Secretary Smites Fox Host That [sic] Dissed Diversity in U.S. Military

MARCH 11, 2021 | BY JIM GARAMONE, DOD NEWS

The United States military is the greatest the world has ever seen because of its diversity, Pentagon Press Secretary John F. Kirby said during a news briefing this morning.

Kirby addressed this because a Fox cable show host [Tucker] used his show to denigrate the contributions of women in the military and to say the Chinese military is catching up to the U.S. military because it does not allow women to serve in the percentage the United States does.

Kirby addressed the insults to the entire U.S. military straight on. “I want to be very clear right up front, that the diversity of our military is one of our greatest strengths,” he said. “I’ve seen it for myself in long months at sea and in the combat waged by our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. I’ve seen it up on Capitol Hill just this past month. And I see it every day here right at the Pentagon.”

Kirby shared a personal note. “One of the best decisions I ever made was becoming a Navy spouse myself, married to a terrific young naval officer who gave birth to our first child, and then went right back to work doing civil engineering for an air force base in Jacksonville,” he said.

Kirby reiterated Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III’s assertion that the American military works best when it represents all the American people. This is more than just having token minorities but having “the moral courage to include other perspectives and ideas into our decision making — perspectives that as the secretary himself noted Monday, are based on lived experience,” Kirby said. “It’s that experience and the professionalism and commitment of our people that has always been our decisive advantage.”

How much you wanna bet “lived experience” doesn’t have to do with, say, you being in a firefight and instead has to do with you being a complainer?

An Airman meets a four-star general.
No job in the military is barred to women, the press secretary noted. They fly jets, fight in infantry squads, drive tanks, command warships and soon to lead combatant commands — President Joe Biden has nominated Air Force Gen. Jacqueline Van Ovost to command U.S. Transportation Command and Army Lt. Gen. Laura Richardson to command U.S. Southern Command.

“To be sure, we still have a lot of work to do to make our military more inclusive, more respectful of everyone, especially women,” Kirby said.

There is a lack of women at senior ranks, Kirby said. “We pledge to do better, and we will,” he said. “What we absolutely won’t do is take personnel advice from a talk show host or the Chinese military. Maybe those folks feel like they have something to prove — that’s on them. We know we’re the greatest military in the world today and even for all the things we need to improve, we know exactly why that’s so.”

When Marine Corp recruits arrive at boot camp in Joe Biden’s military, where Diversity Is Job #1, they’ll be offered a consultation with a hair stylist to pick out the haircut that best expresses who they uniquely are.

If you are white, and dare to make an "OK" sign with your thumb and forefinger, you will be summarily expelled from the military (and many other jobs) and probably won't be permitted to work again. If you're not white, well, you can do whatever you want, but you already know that.

Diversity of the working class is the strength of the ruling class.
At least in the short run, and that's how they are playing it.

And while we're at it, might as well stop calling it "our" army.

    @JimDandy

Controlling for other factors, I think the German and Japanese militaries circa 1940 were both much more effective than the US military, and they were much less diverse. This cultlike worship of "diversity" by the world's top power is perhaps the most bizarre phenomenon in world history.

No, but it is one of our side's greatest strengths.

The United States has basically declared war on non-groveling Whites. Anything that harms its ability to hurt us is good. I most definitely want to see the police, FBI, and other law enforcement agencies become as diverse as possible.

Before last year, I had ambiguous feelings on the US military. Obviously I knew it wasn't really protecting the interests of most Americans, but I thought that, for most people, a short stint in the military would be personally beneficial in terms of character development if not career development.

But now that they have gone full BLM/"screw whitey," I realize that only a detestable fool and/or completely desperate person would want to join the military now. Or at least this is true for whites if not non-blacks.

  4. “One of the best decisions I ever made was becoming a Navy spouse myself, married to a terrific young naval officer who gave birth to our first child, and then went right back to work doing civil engineering for an air force base in Jacksonville,” he said.

So not in a combat role, then?

I never thought I’d be so close to rooting for the Chinese military, but this guy’s got me thinking that way. Actually, I’ll take the Russians over the Chinese. Maybe the Ruskies will invade America from the east and the Chinese from the west, in a race to capture the best American Womyn’s Studies scientists before the surrender and Biden’s and Harris’ suicides in their Washington, FS bunker.

I can see a new Cold War starting, with the Russians flying in food and coal to Detroit on 757s from Russian-held Sandusky into Detroit City Airport, after the Chinese blockade of Telegraph Road. The Chinese will build a wall all along 8-Mile, to keep the Chicom-held black bloc dissidents from fleeing into the Russian zone due to the shortages of food and malt liquor. A famous Ukrainian statesman, allied with the Russians, will proclaim in a speech at Wayne State University that “from Thibodaux in Gulf to Grand Portage on Lake Superior, chromium steel curtain descend on continent.”

    I respond:

I agree Tucker does solid, good work. But, I disagree with the title of this TC link:

I think the prosecution/persecution of the Minnesota White police officer is an open and shut case. He's obviously innocent, the street drug dealer George Floyd killed himself by swallowing large amounts of opioids and meth.

If Minnesota had a principled White GOP governor he should pardon the officer, flood Minneapolis with real military troops with strict orders to shoot to kill riots and looters same as Chicago's best mayor Daley Sr did in 1968.

    , @Jim Christian
    @Achmed E. Newman

Hilarious, Acchie! Even funnier is the fact that tens of thousands (or hundreds of thousands) would support Putin and his forces here in the States. Safe houses, joining up, etc. Because this is what happens when your own culture and country cultivates millions of White enemies within your own borders. Some are bound to step out of line at some point. Red Dawn is looking like a joke. In the present day, Wolverines would fight for the Russian forces, given the hatreds their own people heaped upon White middle regions of the US. I'd NEVER sign on to the US military today. Nor would they. The military is loading up on queers and lesbians and trannies BECAUSE Whites aren't joining. But they disguise the fact with the myth that diversity will save us.

In this neighborhood, small single family homes like the one they are living in, cost $1.5M or rent for $5k a month, and they drive $60k pickup trucks. This is one of, (but not the only), reasons why the military brass are so “Woke”. James Michener served on an island and was assigned to see that every sailor on that island was able to vote. So he and his crew put signs up all over encouraging them to register and vote.

When the bureaucrat overseer flew in from Washington (not in uniform; merely an apparatchik), he was outraged. Michener had misunderstood. The Navy wanted all its men to be able to vote. But they sure did not want them actually voting. The whole point was to dissuade angry parents from writing the War Department or worse, their congressmen.

Michener took the signs down. Only those already determined to vote did so.

I dunno who he's raging over, but fringe? If I want fringe I'll watch the alphabet networks because they're so off on the fringe of the truth to the point that their viewers are completely oblivious. I know many who are completely unaware and the Alphabet nets are all they watch. I immediately head off any discussion with these sorts when they start in on the company line from CNN or some such. When one of my golf group down here pushed the point on something idiotic, I told him any discussion on politics with me had to begin with the stated premise that the guy didn't know what the hell he's talking about. After that he shut the fuck up. People that don't understand the scope of their own destruction aren't qualified to discuss that stuff, politics in general, in public. Democrat White guys are fools.

  18. insults to the entire U.S. military

The US military has become a priesthood.

Anyone who thinks those are “insults” and makes it about “everyone” should be released because he/she is obviously insane.

I’ve seen it up on Capitol Hill just this past month.

What happened on Capitol Hill just this past month? I remember an ex-military lady getting executed live on iPhone. Anything else?

They fly jets, fight in infantry squads, drive tanks, command warships and soon to lead combatant commands

They also live next to burn pits, handle DU ammo, get Jet Fuel into their lungs, have to deal with whatever Cheney’s pals offer in amenities and get shat on by the hierarchy when they become veteran basket cases.

    Kirby shared a personal note.

    Here it comes.

What we absolutely won’t do is take personnel advice from a talk show host or the Chinese military. Maybe those folks feel like they have something to prove — that’s on them.

Well, Mr. Kirby the only one who has “got something to prove” seems to be people who want to push females into every corner of the biggest taxeater (and I might add, biggest moral perversion because earlier powers didn’t have world-destroying powers at the push of a button, they actually had to go places) in the history of mankind.

  31. What are the rules for pregnant airline pilots?

Presumably, these women are not piloting fast jets requiring high-g manoeuvres. But even if you are piloting a military transport you might well be required to land on some short airstrip, doing a tight corkscrew to avoid ground fire, and with a very bumpy landing.

The reality, I suspect, is that pregnant women won’t be deployed and others will have to pick up the slack.

But NATO will come to our defense:

  52. I think one of the things driving all of this is that the National Security State knows well that the odds of the US entering into a real, knock-down-drag-out war with a peer enemy are quite slim. Such a war, against Russia or China, if waged full on, would be a disaster for the US and for the enemy involved, and we don’t even want to get into the very real prospect of one or both sides resorting to nuclear weapons. We won’t be doing that, though we will harass them in various minor ways, and they’ll harass us.

So, we’re going to have 11 enormous aircraft carriers, but we’re never going to really need 11 aircraft carriers, and quite possibly aircraft carriers are white elephants anyway. That won’t however, diminish the Navy’s enthusiasm for aircraft carriers, because they are a funding bonanza and a necessity for a range of contractors, and they look great in the videos.

Why not have women flying combat aircraft, or pregnant women piloting troop transports, or bewildered minority hires at the helm of multi-billion dollar vessels, or transgender Navy Seals fast roping onto oil platforms, or whatever? Congress eats this stuff up, and that’s the important thing. While we can’t win a war against Mad Max militias in Iraq or Afghanistan, we can’t really lose to them either, in the sense of being wiped out on the battlefield. Eventually we’ll get bored or tired and wander off, but the money machine will have been fed and the optics are good, so the audience won’t complain.

In other words, they don’t really care that much about whether the people they assign to combat duty are particularly good at what they do, because it’s mostly for show anyway.

So, we’re going to have 11 enormous aircraft carriers, but we’re never going to really need 11 aircraft carriers, and quite possibly aircraft carriers are white elephants anyway.

The newest aircraft carrier cost $13 to build. That doesn’t include the cost of the 75 or so aircraft needed to actually make it useful. For less than the price of two of those aircraft carriers you could have a nice, 2,000 mile wall on our southern border, doing more to defend the US than all of our aircraft carriers and much of the rest of our military.

Several years ago there was a study done about women in the Navy. It found that requests for maternity leave miraculously always went up right before the ships went on deployment. Some even get pregnant while on deployment, which is supposed to be a no no. So you train these women to do essential shipboard tasks and to work with members of their teams, only to have them bail on you when you need them. And yet this only makes sense. These are healthy young women in their prime childbearing years. Of course they should be getting pregnant. They just shouldn’t be doing it while serving in combat positions in the Navy. And of course those combat positions also put their child’s life at risk, but then thanks to the Supreme Court we no longer consider that child to be alive.

The modern military has a lot of roles for people who will never see combat. We could put the women and the trannies there, and they would stay out of the way and probably even make valuable contributions. Combat is not where they belong.

    Great comment overall, btw.

The reality, I suspect, is that pregnant women won't be deployed and others will have to pick up the slack.

I think one of the things driving all of this is that the National Security State knows well that the odds of the US entering into a real, knock-down-drag-out war with a peer enemy are quite slim. Such a war, against Russia or China, if waged full on, would be a disaster for the US and for the enemy involved, and we don't even want to get into the very real prospect of one or both sides resorting to nuclear weapons. We won't be doing that, though we will harass them in various minor ways, and they'll harass us.

So, we're going to have 11 enormous aircraft carriers, but we're never going to really need 11 aircraft carriers, and quite possibly aircraft carriers are white elephants anyway. That won't however, diminish the Navy's enthusiasm for aircraft carriers, because they are a funding bonanza and a necessity for a range of contractors, and they look great in the videos.

Why not have women flying combat aircraft, or pregnant women piloting troop transports, or bewildered minority hires at the helm of multi-billion dollar vessels, or transgender Navy Seals fast roping onto oil platforms, or whatever? Congress eats this stuff up, and that's the important thing. While we can't win a war against Mad Max militias in Iraq or Afghanistan, we can't really lose to them either, in the sense of being wiped out on the battlefield. Eventually we'll get bored or tired and wander off, but the money machine will have been fed and the optics are good, so the audience won't complain.

In other words, they don't really care that much about whether the people they assign to combat duty are particularly good at what they do, because it's mostly for show anyway.

But once they have acquired these useful, actionable skills, they should muster out. A general of the “transportation command”. Really. Is there also a general of the latrines?

How many misinformation specialists (“press secs”) does the government employ (i.e. spend money on )? The latrine command must have one, too.

Are there still people who genuinely think the U.S. military’s job is to do anything even close to protecting the U.S. population? I always think that when I see things like Tucker’s monolog there, like, lmao no I do not think that the point of the military is to protect me, they’d put a round in my skull without a second thought if their commanders told them to and they’d get away with it because I’m white and didn’t vote for Biden.

It’s all so tiresome. You just keep seeing this weird theater where we have to act like the military is some sacred ultra-patriotic thing that has the slightest interest in protecting the USA while things like the Afghanistan papers exit that just prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that it’s just a money laundering scheme. I mean for christ’s sake we’re in the middle east for the 20th year running now, that’s a bit over 2/3rds of my entire life, and still you get white boomers talking about how they respect the uniform and all that.

Dunno if anyone else has noticed but this latest coordinated attack on America’s remaining white patriots – from General Spacely of Rocketship Command to Pentagon Press Secretary “Pronouns” Kirby, all the way down the evolutionary ladder to the trolls that lamprey boards like this one (I guess they also serve who mock Caucasians) – seem timed to blanket the nation in the immediate wake of President Houseplant’s Adderall-assisted address to whoever had the nerve to watch the screen through latticed fingers. Something tells me we’re being “fortified” again.

But I hope my fellow Hated Kulaks are beginning to be cured of the delusion that our armed forces are chockablock with palefaces just waiting for the order to mop up the BLM/antifa mobs; in fact if there’s anyone I feel for more than white Americans who’ve spent their entire lives paying their taxes and playing by the rules only to be betrayed by our politicians and would-be intellectuals, it would be genuine patriots who joined the military only to learn too late that Job One was kneeling on cue before the flag, and occasionally being made to walk in high heels – on film, yet! – for our enemies to laugh at. Alfa158 offers one solid reason why no one in uniform asks “why”.

I’d NEVER sign on to the US military today. CAMP ZAMA, Japan – The Army is ordering its hardened combat veterans to wear fake breasts and empathy bellies so they can better understand how pregnant soldiers feel during physical training.

This week, 14 non-commissioned officers at Camp Zama took turns wearing the “pregnancy simulators” as they stretched, twisted and exercised during a three-day class that teaches them to serve as fitness instructors for pregnant soldiers and new mothers.

Army enlisted leaders all over the world are being ordered to take the Pregnancy Postpartum Physical Training Exercise Leaders Course, or PPPT, according to U.S. Army Medical Activity Japan health promotion educator Jana York.

During the training, each NCO must wear the pregnancy simulator for at least an hour.

At least you’re riding around in airplanes doing something related to the service’s mission.

That picture of the black girl cadets shows the issue: None of those gals would be at West Point if there wasn't a fist on the scale. No women would be at West Point if there wasn't an entitlement carved out for them. A lot of the gals who graduated with me are fine people and did a good job in the service, and they can be proud of what they accomplished as women. But they were only able to do it because they were handed a preference over men who were more qualified.

Sure, ladies, be proud that you did something most women don't have the gumption (or desire) to do, but lets be honest that you were given a boost by big brother, and if, God forbid, the real shooting starts, big brother will be doing all the killing and fighting, and you will thank the heavens its not you in the trench with the crotch rot.

If the USA were still a predominantly Germanic nation, I'm not sure that the Chinese would test out as "on average smarter than us". The Germans seem to still be capable of fine engineering and the Germanic people in America could do so as well if they weren't burdened by a giant and growing millstone hanging around their necks. This is why separation is so important. We need to get away from these people. They're a drowning swimmer dragging us down. They could care less about long-term consequences, they just want to climb on top of us so they can breathe.

I mostly agree. They didn’t create this civilization, and they are poorly adapted to it. Of course they can’t perform well. If they just accepted it with good grace (they are better off here than in all of their countries of ancestry) there would be no problem. But they ruin our cities and then complain, so that the more compassionate of us (and we do have that characteristic of compassion) worry over them and create endless problems.

The reality, I suspect, is that pregnant women won't be deployed and others will have to pick up the slack.

That picture of the black girl cadets shows the issue: None of those gals would be at West Point if there wasn’t a fist on the scale. No women would be at West Point if there wasn’t an entitlement carved out for them. A lot of the gals who graduated with me are fine people and did a good job in the service, and they can be proud of what they accomplished as women. But they were only able to do it because they were handed a preference over men who were more qualified.

Sure, ladies, be proud that you did something most women don’t have the gumption (or desire) to do, but lets be honest that you were given a boost by big brother, and if, God forbid, the real shooting starts, big brother will be doing all the killing and fighting, and you will thank the heavens its not you in the trench with the crotch rot.

Tucker's been doing great work lately (see Everything the media didn't tell you about the death of George Floyd - it's got the 15 minute clip and the transcript). I'll take his word over this John Fucking Kirby.

I never thought I'd be so close to rooting for the Chinese military, but this guy's got me thinking that way. Actually, I'll take the Russians over the Chinese. Maybe the Ruskies will invade America from the east and the Chinese from the west, in a race to capture the best American Womyn's Studies scientists before the surrender and Biden's and Harris' suicides in their Washington, FS bunker.

A famous Ukrainian statesman, allied with the Russians, will proclaim in a speech at Wayne State University that "from Thibodaux in Gulf to Grand Portage on Lake Superior, chromium steel curtain descend on continent."

Within the decade, Taiwan's independence from the mainland will end. The USA won't be able to do a thing about it. If we try, are floating white elephants (aircraft carriers) will be exposed for what they are, targets. True they may be hard to sink but not so hard to knock out of action. Reference the recent fire on the USS Bonhomme Richard. I suspect the burning of diverse and pregnant sailers alive won't play well at home. The Chinese invasion of Taiwan will be the end of American hegemony in the Asian pacific or the beginning of total end if it goes nuclear. https://news.yahoo.com/were-going-to-lose-fast-us-air-force-held-a-war-game-that-started-with-a-chinese-biological-attack-170003936.html

Yeah, that and especially Cancelled made me very glad he exists. Great songs with righteous lyrics. I've followed his career for awhile, and, at first, I was kind of dubious--some white guy with stupid braids and face tats spouting lowest common denominator doggerel to express "our side" in the culture wars? "You're not helping," I thought. But he grew on me and I've reevaluated that position. First of all, I think he's gotten a lot better at what he does, and second of all, like it or not (I don't) rap is obviously one of the most powerful mediums of our time for shaping the opinions of people who don't read much.

He also grew a lot as an artist.
His lyrics are way better now, he still has some issues with his chorus though.
Considering that the "woke mob" tries their best to shame white rappers, is not that surprising that one of them would eventually go full war on them.
Even Eminem that became a bit obnoxious nowadays, takes shots at this new oversensitive generation every now and then.

Your "massive comments section" and your posts on unz.com exist on the outer fringes. You have no respectable, credentialed platform; that has been stripped from you and denied you. So impressive -- you are such a big fish in a cesspool of seething self-hate, anger and inferiority complex. It is quite clear that you have no earning ability or worth and therefore, direct your self-shame and self-disgust outwards perpetually.
