They have a good chance of it, even with La-Z-Boy Joe and Polygrip Nancy as their spokespersons. A lot of people are freaking out over Corona and blaming Trump for it. It makes no sense, but who says the electorate is rational. And Trump can’t open his mouth, or his Twitter account, without coming across as a blustering moron.

I liked one of the comments in that Twitter-feed – referring to Nancy Pelosi as “Queen L’Antifa”. How anybody could vote for her I have no idea. I don’t want that demented old bag to have any power over my life, nor do I want anybody who would vote for her to have any power over my life.

  5. Pelosi barfs out more inane twaddle in the face of yet another serious question: “It’s about you.” “We’re moving forward, together..”

Translation: Schumer and I will be meeting later this month with Mitch McConnell to advance our our goal of reducing capital gains and estate taxes to zero, while leaving the average earned income tax rate at 30%. My husband and I look forward to leaving our $600 million fortune intact to our descendants’ twelfth generation, and my campaign coffers truly appreciate all the Wall Street Hedge Fund and Silicon Valley PAC money that our altruistic and truly benevolent donors have bestowed upon my campaign. Remember, corporations are people too, and we love their generous, patriotic patronage. Their money is speech, their donations an exercise of their First Amendment rights. We truly love working class Americans, and the middle class. We gleefully anticipate watching them all maul one another in the looming civil war. It will be far more entertaining than any of our foreign wars, 9/11, MMA or the WWF. Let’s all pop some organic ethically sourced corn and sit back to enjoy the show. Thank you very much.

Given the size of the unfolding Economic Catastrophe, the Democrats would have to be insane to want to win in November. The lure of power is what is it though, so I am sure every Politician wants to win no matter what.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi: “People will do what they do.”

Marie Antoinette “Let them eat cake”.

We do hangings instead of Guillotines, which never caught on in the English speaking world, but this is going to get ugly (uglier?) real fast.

  11. Wilkey says:

With the irony being that the Democrats are deadly serious about enforcing the laws they want enforced. If you don’t happen to obey the sometimes inexplicable, incoherent laws they want enforced they will utterly break you. But when it comes to the laws they don’t like it’s “People will do what they will do.” What an utterly evil woman. And you can’t point to Trump and say “He’s just as bad.” This vile harpee has been in politics far longer than Trump has, for nearly all of her life. She’s one of the many reasons Trump got elected.

We should read the Emma Lazarus plaque from the Statue of Liberty and, when the Left complains, simply retort “People will do what they will do.”

They’ve already announced that when they re-take the Senate, the filibuster will be history on Day One. That opens the door to a Dictatorship. They’ll add some new states (all Democrat, of course), increase and pack the Supreme Court, and the rest–including us–will be history. Of course they want to win, and they intend to. They won’t make the same mistake twice.

Consider the Stupid Party by comparison. The President is challenging the Affordable Care Act right in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. The Senate Republicans are trying to play ‘Adults in the Room’ with respect to the new iteration of the stimulus/unemployment bill. But there’s an election just a few months away and though I love the idea of fiscal probity if the GOP loses the Senate it’s all over forever. The GOP should do whatever is necessary to maintain control of the Senate. But they don’t see it that way.

We have a stupid party and an evil party. It’s not a great choice but only one of the two permits education, adjustment and correction. The Dems? They won’t make the same mistake twice. They’re in it to win it.

  14. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again:

As the rule of law rapidly falls, as statues go by the wayside, so goes the obeying of statutes, by all sides.

FWIW, neither phrase (Mob Rule or Anarcho-Tyranny) is particularly precise. What the ‘protesting’ masses haven’t a clue about is the fact that they are presently doing the dirty work of the actual power structure in our society, and their interests coincide with that structure only to the extent that they are helping to vanquish its only potential, substantial opposition.

Hmm, time again to quote Mrs Iselin (Angela Lansbury) from The Manchurian Candidate:

Mrs. Iselin : But now, we have come almost to the end. One last step. And then when I take power, they will be pulled down and ground into dirt […we will then be] rallying a nation of television viewers to hysteria, to sweep us up into the White House with powers that will make martial law seem like anarchy!

  19. I blame Pelosi and Schiff for carrying on with thatg inane Russia collusion fable, that they knew to be false, to impeach Trump and overturn the 2016 election.

I blame Pelosi and Schjiff for diverting our national attention, and therefore Trump’s, away from the SARS2 epidemic in China until it was too late to stop it from arriving on our shores.

I blame Pelosi and Schiff for coddling and promoting the seditious BLM and Antifa movements in an attempt to overthrow the duly elected officials everywhere.

  20. @Mr McKenna

Yes, 2016 was a shock to our elites that they don’t want repeated. So many of the channels that were used in 2016 were closed to the Right – from FB/Twitter to Mastercard and Paypal.

2016 Brexit was a shock too, but Brexiters were fortunate in that Boris was an opportunist who saw in Brexit a chance for power, and the opposition had a principled (may of his principles silly/bad ones, but that’s by the by) leader who thought Israel should be held to the same standards as other countries, for which he was abused in the entire MSM and undermined by many in his own party.

Not that we’ve left yet. It wouldn’t be beyond imagination for CV19 to be the reason for a Great Betrayal – and if we do leave, Boris has plenty of other betrayals up his sleeve – like the chance to import the entire population of Hong Kong.

.. and here was silly old me thinking that Italians – real Italians, that is – are inordinately proud of Christopher Columbus.

Why would we be, really? Columbus worked for the Spaniards, he made Spain a world power and hurt Italy. The end result of opening up the New World (even if not Columbus’ intention or even forseeable) was the decline in importance of Mediterranean trade routes to the Indies and the economic decay of the great Italian trading city states like Venice and Genoa. Inadvertently Columbus caused the decline of Italy in the 17th and 18th centuries, and its subjection to Spain and France.

Still, that’s no reason for Americans to tear his statues down. I assume Spain will hold on to its Plaza de Colon for a while yet.

  23. @theMann

Given the size of the unfolding Economic Catastrophe, the Democrats would have to be insane to want to win in November.

Great point, but I think most people are still in denial about how bad things will get. Democrats imagine that as soon as Trump leaves the sun will start shining and it will be 2012 again. The GOP seems to think that Trump should just keep doing what he’s doing, as we sure are in great shape right now (?).

Trump’s massive deficit spending to create the fake economic boom of the last 3 years (which to be fair is just the fake Obama boom on steroids) is going to crash to earth pretty soon. If I were the Dems I would let the GOP catch the falling knife.

If anything goes, is it alright to pull down statues of Martin Luther King? After all, people will do what they want, right? Somehow, I don’t think the police will stand down in this case.

  29. Some people here don’t seem to realise how important it is Trump wins the next election.

If Trump wins, then when mobs start breaking into galleries, libraries and museums and making huge public bonfires of books and paintings by white men at least he will be in a position to pass a law telling them they have to stop, or else.

And when things begin getting really South African and mobs start torturing and killing white families at least a President Trump will be able to give a speech about it.

“This is America. And in this great country of ours we do not simply round people up–black or white, born or unborn (cheers) and murder them in cold blood. We-do-not-do-that. The silent majority will not stand for it. They-will-not-stand-for-it. And the silent majority is more powerful than ever. So powerful. You would not believe how powerful they are”.

Also why the strawman argument from 95 IQ dummies that he thought he “discovered the Americas?” He simply claimed the land for Spain, and got there before other Europeans (aside from the Vikings who couldn’t hold onto it in a historically significant way).

I thought Italian-Americans cared about Columbus?

It’s not just Italian-Americans but all Catholics who honor Columbus.

In 1892 Pope Leo XIII (Quarto Abeunte Saeculo Encyclical on the Columbus Quadricentennial [1-3, 7-8]):

    http://www.vatican.va/content/leo-xiii/en/encyclicals/documents/hf_l-xiii_enc_16071892_quarto-abeunte-saeculo.html

…For [Columbus’s] exploit is in itself the highest and grandest which any age has ever seen accomplished by man; and he who achieved it, for the greatness of his mind and heart, can be compared to but few in the history of humanity. By his toil another world emerged from the unsearched bosom of the ocean: … greatest of all, by the acquisition of those blessings of which Jesus Christ is the author, they have been recalled from destruction to eternal life…

We consider that this immortal achievement should be recalled by Us with memorial words. For Columbus is ours… it is indubitable that the Catholic faith was the strongest motive for the inception and prosecution of the design; so that for this reason also the whole human race owes not a little to the Church…

We say not that he was unmoved by perfectly honourable aspirations after knowledge, and deserving well of human society; nor did he despise glory, which is a most engrossing ideal to great souls; nor did he altogether scorn a hope of advantages to himself; but to him far before all these human considerations was the consideration of his ancient faith… This view and aim is known to have possessed his mind above all; namely, to open a way for the Gospel over new lands and seas…

It is fitting that we should confess and celebrate in an especial manner the will and designs of the Eternal Wisdom, under whose guidance the discoverer of the New World placed himself with a devotion so touching.

In order, therefore, that the commemoration of Columbus may be worthily observed, religion must give her assistance to the secular ceremonies. And as at the time of the first news of the discovery public thanksgiving was offered by the command of the Sovereign Pontiff to Almighty God, so now we have resolved to act in like manner in celebrating the anniversary of this auspicious event.

And a decade before the Columbus Quadricentennial an Irish priest founded the Knights of Columbus as a mutual benefit society to help working-class and immigrant Catholics in the United States. I.e., tearing down statues is religious and immigrant bigotry.

Mob rule is only permitted when they’re doing the plutocrats’ bidding.

According to the Catholic Church the destruction of cultural artifacts is a common tactic of communists. And the Church has officially and repeatedly declared communism as intrinsically evil (Pope Leo XIII, Graves de Communi Re; Pope Pius XI, Divini Redemptoris; Pope Pius XII, Evangelii Praecones; et al.)

Pope Pius XI (Divini Redemptoris, [19-20], March 1937) on the destruction of cultural artifacts:

    http://www.vatican.va/content/pius-xi/en/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-xi_enc_19370319_divini-redemptoris.html

…Where Communism has been able to assert its power… it has striven by every possible means, as its champions openly boast, to destroy Christian civilization and the Christian religion by banishing every remembrance of them from the hearts of men, especially of the young…

Not only this or that church or isolated monastery was sacked, but as far as possible every church and every monastery was destroyed. Every vestige of the Christian religion was eradicated, even though intimately linked with the rarest monuments of art and science. (Pope Pius XI (Divini Redemptoris, [19-20])

Nobody who wants to be understood should ever say “anarcho-tyranny.” It’s a dork-right shibboleth that makes no immediate sense even to people who know exactly what both halves of the term mean. The “[word]o-[word]” form in general is used only by repulsive nerds. And normie-cons have cried lib “tyranny” for so long, everyone has it filtered and doesn’t believe it’s a possible thing anymore.

The best term for the phenomenon that we need to make visible (in thought) is “privilege,” but that’s taken. “Immunity” is underused. It’s paired with “privilege” in Americans’ minds, and it’s relevant, as the kids say, when the news is all about plagues and killer cops. It’s evocative of real bad things.

So, “[something] immunity.” Two words. Never more. I don’t know what the right first one is. We don’t have a snappy nickname for the high-low pincer coalition. (“Negrosoros!” someone yells from the back. A long silence follows.)

Democracy – free speech, open debate, voting, majority rule, rule of law. Freedom

Mob Rule – violence on the street, strongest bully wins, rule by bully or secret cabals organizing the bullies. Tyranny

One of the reasons the right is losing is that it doesn’t believe in democracy enough to defend it and make the case for it. Democracy is the foundation of our constitution and that is what is under attack. The right needs to defend democracy.

  55. Anonymous[339] • Disclaimer says:

Pelosi believes that Whites are terrified of Blacks, and would do anything keep Blacks from attacking them.

The Civil Rights law of 1964 is interpreted by the Whites as a temporary program to bring the Blacks up to White speed (and that is how it was sold back in the 1960s). The 1968 riots (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1968_Washington,_D.C._riots) are believed by the Democrats to have established another interpretation: the Civil Rights law of 1964 suspended part of the US Constitution (freedom of association) and established a perpetual right to racial reparations at a level defined by the Blacks (later expanded to other groups). See C.Caldwell, _The Age of Entitlement_, 2020/01 The Democrats believe that challenges to the 1964 Civil Rights act have been beaten back by other Black riots.
The Democrats have ample reason for their beliefs. White Democrats are sui generis, and have little understanding or empathy for other Whites. Those of the White Democrats that are urban dwellers regard Blacks as unstoppable demons who might strike at any time. Preventing Black riots is high up on their priority list. Those that are not urban dwellers are treated as useful idiots who believe the Blacks to be justly revolting, and from whom the truth must be hidden at all costs.
Pelosi is an urban White Democrat. She apparently thinks that Whites are either useful idiots, or else Deplorables, a sort of White mirror image of the Black demons she fears — aggressive, but not brave. Show them a “whiff of grapeshot” or danger of “tearing down the system” and they will run.

So, yes, Pelosi thinks that a show of force will (a) show the useful idiots just how oppressed the Blacks are and (b) frighten the Demplorables into giving up. This SOP has worked several times since 1964, and a (pardon the observation) half senile Democratic leadership thinks it will work again.

Why won’t it? No more money for reparations. People are dying in the countryside from reparations already given.

Why did none of these doddering octogenarians — or ANY of them in Congress — get the Covid and drop dead? It’s almost like… like maybe they knew of a certain treatment that would help?

The only case we know of is Klobuchar’s husband who got the ‘rona, and she very reluctantly admitted he did, in fact, take the Trump Cure and got better. A bit of information the media totally ignored, naturally.

But again… why have none of our decrepit ruling elites gotten the Covid, when they are in the most at-risk category, and by the nature of their jobs are constantly exposed to people?

    It’s…. a mystery.

Steve, Dems are poised for a massive win. Biden has a twenty five point lead! There will be a massive De m majority in the Senate.

Mob violence is very popular. Blacks love it. Gays, White women, Asians too. That is the core of the regime. Along with big and small companies that love it too. Nothing says profits like mob violence. Not kidding.

The Woke dream is every White man dead or in a slave labor camp. Ever cheaper and more disposable labor than China.

White men are fringe weirdos that the core: tranni es, blacks, White women will not tolerate.

She doesn’t need “winning ploys.” IF they get vote-by-mail, Biden will “win” in a landslide. Guar-an-tee’d.

Surprised nobody asked if the Columbus statue, like the Confederate memorials to Robt E Lee and Stonewall Jackson, had been erected by Pelosi’s father, Mayor Thomas “Three Fingers Beppo” D’Alesandro; then followed up by asking her, “Just to clarify: did your father put those statues because he loved the Confederacy, or because he hated, uh, I believe the term in your household was ‘moolies’?And did he authorize the statues before or after he got caught grafting?”

Of course, within minutes that reporter would be drummed out of the fraternity of Trump-destroyers for his shocking lack of dignity towards holders of high office; but he’d be an instant legend in much the way Eric Ciaramella became one, as The Other Man With No Name.

Do the Democrats even want to win in November?

Sadly, the Democrats don’t have to want to win, they will win notwithstanding. The November 2020 Presidential election was decided in October 1965 when the Hart-Cellar immigration act was passed. We all knew this day would come, when the demographics would so decisively tip agains the white party that it would be nigh impossible to elect a Republican. This day is here.

Maybe Trump can pull off one last victory. I don’t think he would do anything useful with a new term, but it would be fun to watch the left explode with insanity. Good entertainment for the next four years.

“Inadvertently Columbus caused the decline of Italy in the 17th and 18th centuries, and its subjection to Spain and France.”

To be fair, Italy (which didn’t really exist until Garibaldi) was always the plaything of one foreign power or another, esp. if you count the Papal States. I mean, that’s what I read in those books about why Machiavelli was so pissed off.

One quick solution: the Ballot Box in this November’s Election.

The entire House of Representatives is up for election … lots can be done to thin that herd of disrespectful folks as well as to rid US of RINOs and neocons.

Also, I believe 34 Senators are also up for election — ditto for them, too … give them the hook.

It’s time for US to elect some genuine Conservatives to the Congress — Conservatives who also happen to be true Republicans … not these whiny never-trumpets, RINOs and neocons who cave before every democratic party demand.

  74. People will do what they want to do? I wish. In case anybody has missed the virus house arrest since mid March, Democrats and their socialist unionized government cops have everybody who believes in traditional family values locked up. If we protest we’ll be arrested. If we want to shop or go to a restaurant tough luck. Go to church? That’s hate speech and the cops are ready to bust the skulls of any Christian who thinks otherwise. By the way aren’t these the same hero cops who won’t detain illegal aliens for ICE? Pelosi’s cops will enforce every violation of our bill of rights the Democrats can think of. Do what we want?sure as long as it’s what the Democrats want. Decent working Americans who believe in God and in real marriage between a man and a woman who think parents should be responsible for their kids not courts or cops or Karens have never been less free. Of course if we support the lock down , the scamdemic hysteria and BLM and Antifa we can party on the streets by the tens of thousands like it’s 1999.

  75. @al gore rhythms

That, and Trump’s actual speeches, remind me of the senile old nanny in Brideshead Revisited, who recalls hearing an MP making a speech about Hitler: “I don’t know if Mr. Hitler was listening, but if he was, I imagine he must have felt very small.”

Do we all go back to feudal times, and focus on our local governing arrangements? When the Gov does something to you, that’s far off and there’s not much more you can do save grumble, but when your local city council does something heinous – and you’ve collectively had enough – there’s LOTS you can do…”

You’ve perfectly described the world before, say, the French Revolution. People think “the Church ran everything” but they ran nothing local; htf is the Pope in Rome supposed to affect some French peasant? Nation states began the process of central control (eg, post rev. France). With modern surveillance, drones, etc., the govt is going to be very interested in rural America, and very much able to make its presence felt. As David Koresh.

  78. @Mr. Anon

Yeah, I’m not sure why Steve thinks Democrats will lose. Mob rule is polling pretty well.

Even in 2016, when BLM was literally shooting cops in the streets, Hillary only lost by tiny margin. Now with four more years of demographic transformation, social media purged of Trump support, the Megaphone and Deep State on 24/7 anti-Trump duty, and prosepctive mass mail-in vote manufacturing, it’s gonna take a miracle to prevent getting rolled by the Dem juggernaut.

  79. @Wilkey

We should read the Emma Lazarus plaque from the Statue of Liberty and, when the Left complains, simply retort “People will do what they will do.”

That’s a brilliant idea, but whoever attempts it would have to understand that they’ll throw every book that there is at you. The hypocrisy charge won’t slow them at all but the public show if it WOULD wake more whites.

The hate crime charge for the brave (foolhardy?) whites painting over BLM street graffiti is in the same category and is getting major play

Wish the Tarrant and Roof types that are so willing to throw their lives away doing something foul to innocent people would be willing to take a smaller sacrifice for a different kind of public defiance that might actually help us rather than be exploited to our make our situation worse.

Glad you appreciated it. John from Staten Island and Frank from Queens may be the greatest talk radio callers of all time. They have had their own show, The Right Perspective (TRP) since around 1997. Unfortunately, it is not nearly as good as they were as callers. At least not for a long time now. But for anyone who wants to at least hear a semblance, a reminder of the old halcyon days, TRP streams live Friday evenings from 8:00 PM Eastern (usually until at least 11:00):

    Past shows are archived at

Another caller I really enjoyed was Steve from Manhattan who used to promote Pat Buchanan, and later Tom Tancredo for President. In what was one of the last times I heard him on The Right Perspective (2012 at the latest), Steve from Manhattan mentioned VDARE.

I miss Bob Grant and NYC talk radio from his era. Very different from what it has become, as you note. Take care.

There are 2 outcomes, either some liberal in power is “cancelled” or they quickly crack down on the mob since their ox is now being gored. Feels like a win either way.

  95. “Do the Democrats even want to win in November?”

A very good non-rhetorical question, which I believe could apply to politicians of both political parties — including the U.S. President. The older generation seems to subconsciously just want to leave, but they cannot because their entire existence is wrapped up in elected office. This is just an impression. My answer to the question for all parties is, “I do not know.”

Perhaps a related question: “Do heroin addicts even want to do more heroin?”

The ones who seem truly interested in winning are the young female Democrat representatives.
