Periodically, the New York Times publishes work by their staffers that detonate much of the assumptions built up by hundreds of other NYT pieces, such as the (belated but welcom) reporting over the summer on all the devastation caused by the riots.
Here’s an important piece from the New York Times opinion page about Antifa (without ever using the term “Antifa”):

“Insurrectionary anarchists” have been protesting for racial justice all summer. Some Black leaders wish they would go home.

On the last Sunday in May, Jeremy Lee Quinn, a furloughed photographer in Santa Monica, Calif., was snapping photos of suburban moms kneeling at a Black Lives Matter protest when a friend alerted him to a more dramatic subject: looting at a shoe store about a mile away.
He arrived to find young people pouring out of the store, shoeboxes under their arms. But there was something odd about the scene. A group of men, dressed entirely in black, milled around nearby, like supervisors. One wore a creepy rubber Halloween mask.
The next day, Mr. Quinn took pictures of another store being looted. Again, he noticed something strange. A white man, clad in black, had broken the window with a crowbar, but walked away without taking a thing.
Blacks have done plenty of looting on their own over the decades. My guess is that local Minneapolis blacks looting the Target on May 27 was like the Bat Signal to the regional white Antifa who burned the 3rd Precinct on May 28.
But perhaps the mysterious Umbrella Man who apparently started the looting in Minneapolis by smashing an AutoZone window was a white leftist. The media trumpeted back in July that he’d been proven to be a rightwing extremist, but then that story vanished.
Mr. Quinn began studying footage of looting from around the country and saw the same black outfits and, in some cases, the same masks. He decided to go to a protest dressed like that himself, to figure out what was really going on. He expected to find white supremacists who wanted to help re-elect President Trump by stoking fear of Black people. What he discovered instead were true believers in “insurrectionary anarchism.”
To better understand them, Mr. Quinn, a 40-something theater student who worked at Univision until the pandemic, has spent the past four months marching with “black bloc” anarchists in half a dozen cities across the country, chronicling the experience on his website, Public Report.
He says he respects the idealistic goal of a hierarchy-free society that anarchists embrace, but grew increasingly uncomfortable with the tactics used by some anarchists, which he feared would set off a backlash that could help get President Trump re-elected. In Portland, Ore., he marched with people who shot fireworks at the federal court building. In Washington, he marched with protesters who harassed diners.
Mr. Quinn discovered a thorny truth about the mayhem that unfolded in the wake of the police killing of George Floyd, an unarmed Black man in Minneapolis. It wasn’t mayhem at all.
While talking heads on television routinely described it as a spontaneous eruption of anger at racial injustice, it was strategically planned, facilitated and advertised on social media by anarchists who believed that their actions advanced the cause of racial justice. In some cities, they were a fringe element, quickly expelled by peaceful organizers. But in Washington, Portland and Seattle they have attracted a “cultlike energy,” Mr. Quinn told me.
Don’t take just Mr. Quinn’s word for it. Take the word of the anarchists themselves, who lay out the strategy in Crimethinc, an anarchist publication: Black-clad figures break windows, set fires, vandalize police cars, then melt back into the crowd of peaceful protesters. When the police respond by brutalizing innocent demonstrators with tear gas, rubber bullets and rough arrests, the public’s disdain for law enforcement grows. It’s Asymmetric Warfare 101.
An anarchist podcast called “The Ex-Worker” explains that while some anarchists believe in pacifist civil disobedience inspired by Mohandas Gandhi, others advocate using crimes like arson and shoplifting to wear down the capitalist system. According to “The Ex-Worker,” the term “insurrectionary anarchist” dates back at least to the Spanish Civil War and its aftermath, when opponents of the fascist leader Francisco Franco took “direct action” against his regime, including assassinating policemen and robbing banks.
If that is not enough to convince you that there’s a method to the madness, check out the new report by Rutgers researchers that documents the “systematic, online mobilization of violence that was planned, coordinated (in real time) and celebrated by explicitly violent anarcho-socialist networks that rode on the coattails of peaceful protest,” according to its co-author Pamela Paresky. She said some anarchist social media accounts had grown 300-fold since May, to hundreds of thousands of followers.
“The ability to continue to spread and to eventually bring more violence, including a violent insurgency, relies on the ability to hide in plain sight — to be confused with legitimate protests, and for media and the public to minimize the threat,” Dr. Paresky told me.
Her report will almost certainly catch the attention of conservative media and William Barr’s Department of Justice, which recently declared New York, Portland and Seattle “anarchist jurisdictions,” a widely mocked designation accompanied by the threat of withholding federal funds.
There’s an even thornier truth that few people seem to want to talk about: Anarchy got results. …
And yet, I had to admit that the scale of destruction caught the media’s attention in a way that peaceful protests hadn’t. How many articles would I have written about a peaceful march? How many months would Mr. Quinn have spent investigating suburban moms kneeling? That’s on us.
While I feared that the looting and arson would derail the urgent demands for racial justice and bring condemnation, I was wrong, at least in the short term. Support for Black Lives Matter soared. Corporations opened their wallets. It was as if the nation rallied behind peaceful Black organizers after it saw the alternative, like whites who flocked to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. after they got a glimpse of Malcolm X.
But as the protests continue, support has flagged. The percentage of people who say they support the Black Lives Matter movement has dropped from 67 percent in June to 55 percent, according to a recent Pew poll.
“Insurrectionary anarchy” brings diminishing returns, especially as anarchists complicate life for those working within the system to halt police violence. …
In Seattle, Andrè Taylor, a Black man who lost his brother to police violence in 2016, helped change state law that made it nearly impossible to prosecute officers for killing civilians. But he has been branded a “pig cop” by young anarchists because his nonprofit organization receives funds from the city, and because he cooperates with the police.
Andre Taylor is the old pimp who is being paid $150k per year by Seattle taxpayers to be Street Czar.
It’s almost as if the black and white sides have different desires.
… In other words, it’s not really about George Floyd or Black lives, but insurrection for insurrection’s sake.

The obvious truth is that ANTIFA is a wholly manufactured golem of TWMNBN being welded to terrorize the goyim middle class of both parties. One problem now is whether or not the goyim might wake up in time as to who created controls, directs, and largely financially supports ANTIFA. The other problem is that TWMNBN could lose control of their golem or simply fall blindly in love with its potential to destroy. Like Kevin Macdonald might say, "They can not help themselves".

Set aside how much of what followed George Floyd's death was planned as a fool's errand when events are in motion. It's enough for our purposes here to notice that Democrats and their Allied Media mainstreamed BLM and ran cover for Antifa.
Their plan was to goad Trump into a Maiden-like incident.
Having failed in this effort, with Trump brilliantly adhering to federalism and refusing to take their bait in DC -- with Romney, Mattis, Powell and other Republican and National Security figures opening their Kimonos too soon, they went to what is always their Plan B, blaming the whole shebang on the blacks.
It really is impossible to overstate how brilliantly Trump neutralized their plot. Which they had intended to be a heads we win, tails Trump loses. Either they hit the jackpot with deaths and injuries of peaceful protesters and National Guard alike. Or they at least reverse Trump's increased support among black voters.
The shot caller in the Democrat Party and Allied Media are in desperation mode as no one, least of all blacks, are buying their Big Lie that the revolutionist violence, as opposed to the "undocumented shopping, is a black (and brown) uprising. Whatever the NYT is gingerly retconning, everyone has know for months that the Color Revolution antics have been orchestrated by Antifa, which is made up primarily of children of the upper middle and middle class whites.

I was wondering if you think it would be a good idea for Trump to follow up Biden’s request for him to disavow white supremacists by asking Biden to disavow black supremacists like the Black Hebrew Israelites and the Nation of Islam. (though they carefully avoided mentioning Antifa or other Soros orgs). Never mind that 99.9% of their reporting said exactly the opposite. This one tiny drop of semi-factual reporting (in the Op Ed section) will absolve them of the brimming vat of lies they have been retailing for months (and no doubt will continue to retail for more months).

I think it is also time for everyone to start brushing up on the Chinese Cultural Revolution, which may well be our future. Ji-li Jiang's Red Scarf Girl: A Memoir of the Cultural Revolution is a moving look at a family that tried to be "good revolutionaries."
And a truly inspiring account of young people who struggled to preserve and expand their minds during the Cultural Revolution is Zi-ping Luo's A Generation Lost : China Under the Cultural Revolution. Luo, by the way, eventually earned a PhD at Princeton, did a post-doc at Caltech, co-founded a biotech start-up, and is now a professor emeritus in chem at Cal Poly Pomona. By useful idiots, radical Jewish ringleaders, and paid lumpenproles whose corrosive street violence demoralized respectable citizens, divided the 99%, deflated urban property values and degraded viability of local business competitors to Silicon Valley oligarchs in order to create buying opportunities and online sector growth for global elites.
This recent anti-Antifa phenomenon shows that while the ruling elites see BLM as an ally in further dividing Americans towards impotence to elite rule, at the same time they see Antifa as a danger. Radicalized Bernie Bros (Gals and Others) are appropriating black rage–stoked by the elite for electoral politics–and channeling it into subversive actions that threaten the wealth and stability of the elite. What the NYT is trying to do is to keep BLM sacralized (since it poses no danger to them) while profaning Antifa for being white, all-too-white. A close look at some of the interactions during the riots would already demonstrate racial/cultural tensions between black protesters/rioter and Antifa. The NYT intends to drive this wedge much further.
Antifa are more Marxist than anarchist, although there is overlap between the two concepts. If the police were to be further weakened in Blue Cities, and so called “white supremacist” militias attrited, ruling elites would be vulnerable to house-to-house reparation committees organized by Antifa and carried out by blacks. After all, only a white supremacist would resist blacks getting what they deserve “by other means” since the political system refuses to grant them reparations.
In order to protect ruling class interests and wealth, the NYT will continue to stoke black ethno-narcissism and with the goal of provoking blacks into humiliating and ultimately rejecting Antifa. Because the way this is going, if Biden wins, Antifa will only be more emboldened. Antifa are looking to create a political base in Oregon and some other Blue Cities where they will benefit from state/local government protection. Once “Biden” is safely in power, he will need ideological buttressing for unleashing Federal power against Antifa. What better excuse for going after radicalized Bernie Bros than claiming that whitey is profaning the sacred black struggle?

This all was fairly obvious to anyone watching the livestreams coming from Minneapolis. As I pointed out on June 1st:
In contrast to cities with a lot of black people (like Minneapolis) where the main goal is to stir the pot and cause looting/disorder, the anarchists in Portland are trying to bait the police into going “full Kent State”. This is what the umbrella thing is about, which they probably copied from the CIA riots in Hong Kong in summer 2019. If you see people in gas masks and umbrellas it means what they’re trying to do is make the police panic that their tear gas isn’t going to work in controlling a crowd that outnumbers them, and switch to rubber bullets (or hopefully live ammo).

One of my old acquaintances had an older father who had his initial attempts at education wrecked by the Cultural Revolution. While he wasn’t a MacArthur winner, he basically had a story like this in every way, down to the fast food job caused by a disgruntled feudal lor-I mean, academic advisor.
My recently widowed mother now has to train with guns now because the local police are being prevented by bureaucrats from doing their jobs. Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the nearby city is particularly poisonous and insane, even on blue state standards.

Regarding the Spanish Civil War, from my reading, once it was a real war, it was Communists vs. Republicans (more conservative than the people that call themselves "Republicans" now, in America, of course).

In the greater sense this is really a civil war on the left between older monied white liberal / Jewish elites needing to expand their base (blacks that have a dog like loyalty to the Dems)in order to stave off the insurgent left made up of various non-traditional colors and income brackets. The deal to black people is that they get to be the top of the Democratic shit heap if they go along with the corporate-tech-political leadership. Elites have a tendency to lose their heads in a revolution so they are all assets deployed. Losing to either the Bernie Sanders new brown deal or the Trump nationalists means they get taken out and replaced. The left will still be there but they won’t.
Antifa are more Marxist than anarchist, although there is overlap between the two concepts. If the police were to be further weakened in Blue Cities, and so called "white supremacist" militias attrited, ruling elites would be vulnerable to house-to-house reparation committees organized by Antifa and carried out by blacks. After all, only a white supremacist would resist blacks getting what they deserve "by other means" since the political system refuses to grant them reparations.
In order to protect ruling class interests and wealth, the NYT will continue to stoke black ethno-narcissism and with the goal of provoking blacks into humiliating and ultimately rejecting Antifa. Because the way this is going, if Biden wins, Antifa will only be more emboldened. Antifa are looking to create a political base in Oregon and some other Blue Cities where they will benefit from state/local government protection. Once "Biden" is safely in power, he will need ideological buttressing for unleashing Federal power against Antifa. Regarding the Spanish Civil War, from my reading, once it was a real war, it was Communists vs. Republicans (more conservative than the people that call themselves “Republicans” now, in America, of course).

The fact remains that if some rich guys are pitting some other group against your group, that that other group is still against your group. So what do you do about it? Set aside how much of what followed George Floyd's death was planned as a fool's errand when events are in motion. It's enough for our purposes here to notice that Democrats and their Allied Media mainstreamed BLM and ran cover for Antifa.

It really is impossible to overstate how brilliantly Trump neutralized their plot. Which they had intended to be a heads we win, tails Trump loses.
