From the New York Times:
With Rise of Far-Right Extremists, N.Y.P.D. Creates Special Unit
Threats from far-right and neo-Nazi organizations, including groups like The Proud Boys, will be investigated.
By Ali Watkins
Dec. 11, 2019
Updated 5:34 p.m. ETFor almost two decades, the intelligence bureau of the New York Police Department has built a security apparatus designed to track international terror groups like Al Qaeda and the Islamic State.
Now, the department is aiming those resources at a different target: far-right and extremist hate groups.
Police officials say they have formed a new unit within the department’s intelligence bureau, known as “Racially and Ethnically Motivated Extremism,” or “R.E.M.E,” that will be primarily dedicated to investigating terror threats from far-right and neo-Nazi organizations, including groups like the Atomwaffen Division and The Proud Boys.
The unit became operational early this month, and already has dozens of open investigations, police officials said.
John Miller, the commissioner of the intelligence division, said the far-right extremist groups are not that different in nature from Islamic extremist groups like Al Qaeda. “There’s no different recipe except our offenders are likely to be on the ground here,” he said in an interview.
Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the unit’s creation on Wednesday at City Hall, just a day after a gun battle in Jersey City, during which two people with guns opened fire at two different locations, including a kosher supermarket, killing three bystanders and a Jersey City detective.
“What we saw yesterday was a premeditated, violent, anti-Semitic hate crime,” Mr. de Blasio said. “In other words, you can say it was an act of terror.”
The two suspects, a man and a woman, were killed in a shootout with police. The man, who has been identified as David N. Anderson, 47, had a history of posting anti-Semitic and anti-police rhetoric online, one law enforcement official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss an open investigation.
Granted, the New York Times never actually quite said in so many words that David N. Anderson of the Jersey City kosher supermarket slaughter was one of these dangerous white right-wing extremists that the rest of the article is about, but that’s certainly the implication subscribers will take away.
But from the Jewish Telegraph Agency:
BY RON KAMPEAS
DECEMBER 11, 2019 3:04 PM(JTA) — Police have identified one of the dead suspects in a shootout at a kosher market in Jersey City as David Anderson, who reportedly was once a member of the Black Hebrew Israelites.
As you may recall, the Black Hebrew Israelites were the catalyst in last winter’s national media crisis over the Evil White Boy Smirking at the Tribal Elder. The Black Hebrew Israelites were the most obnoxious and scariest group at the Lincoln Memorial and kept picking on both Nathan Phillips group and the Covington Catholic boys.
So in a man kicks dog, dog bites cat scenario, Nathan Phillips started picking on the boys to regain some self-respect lost to the terrifying * Black Hebrew Israelites, which instantly was misinterpreted by the Great and the Good of the Mainstream Media, because they know who the Bad Guys and who the Good Guys are just by looking at them.
* By the way, it turns out that the Black Hebrew Israelites really are terrifying, and it wasn’t particularly craven of the Tribal Elder not to want to mess with them.
UPDATE: Thanks to a sharp-eyed commenter, here is an interesting NYT backstory on Ali Watkins, author of this NYT article:
How an Affair Between a Reporter and a Security Aide Has Rattled Washington Media
By Michael M. Grynbaum, Scott Shane and Emily Flitter
June 24, 2018… The story of what happened next — of a three-year affair that unfolded between a young reporter and a government official with access to top-secret information — is now part of a federal investigation that has rattled the world of Washington journalists and the sources they rely on.
Mr. Wolfe, 57, was arrested on June 7 and charged with lying to investigators about his contacts with Ms. Watkins and three other journalists. Ms. Watkins, a Washington-based reporter for The New York Times, had her email and phone records seized by federal prosecutors.
Now 26, Ms. Watkins was hired by The Times to cover federal law enforcement in December, about four months after she has said her relationship with Mr. Wolfe ended. Times officials are currently examining her work history and what influence the relationship may have had on her reporting. The Times is also reviewing her decision, on advice of her personal lawyer, not to immediately tell her editors about a letter she received in February informing her that her records had been seized.
Somebody should mention the Ali Watkins case to Clint Eastwood.

Didn’t they already create a special unit because of swastikas drawn on a subway by a twelve-year-old?
This is pretty interesting, no one could have foreseen that black men do not feel white guilt:
Redpill the blacks on the JQ as much as possible.

Although as usual the adjective "neoliberal" is used as common replacement of "extractive". Nothing in current economic policy is "liberal", and definitely not "neo-".
"elite-socialistic" would be more appropriate.

How long before this NYPD hate-crimes special unit gets shut down for disparate impact violations?
It won't be shut down though. It will be "repurposed" with a much more specific mission: get whitey.

Now Black Hebrew Israelites must have the highest rate of mass shootings of any group in America.
Wiki says there are 30,000 or so BHIs in America, so with two shooters, that means BHIs do mass shootings at a rate of about 7 per 100,000. By contrast, the plain old black non-Hebrew non-Israelite mass shooting rate is something like 0.5 per 100,000 and the white rate is something like 0.4 per 100,000. So BHIs are 1400% more mass shooty than their ethnic background rate. Seems newsworthy.
Will the major media will go on a crusade to warn everyone of the clear and present danger that BHIs pose (especially to Jews)?
Strangely, instead we’re getting the “overwhelming majority of BHIs are nonviolent” schtick.
Weird. It’s almost like the narrative is immune to facts.

This Times story hits home for me. I happen to live in the same upper middle-class Westchester town as Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes.
In the last 2 years, many local residents have placed “Hate Has No Home Here” signs in their front lawns. Some houses have 3 of them. McInnes has claimed (and I suspect he is correct) that the trend started when people found out he lived here. Like many wealthy suburbs in NY, the politics is controlled by the wives of the men on Wall Street. I don’t know Gavin, but I used to read him on Taki and generally like what he has to say. That the Times (and the Mayor) could equate the Proud Boys with a terrorist groupie is freaking crazy!!!
I also used to legally represent a Black Israelite group in a civil rights lawsuit against the city of Hackensack, which clearly denied them a zoning permit for a religious school. My uncle is an old communist and needed local counsel with a New Jersey law license, and I agreed to help him. After 2 months, I realized this group was essentially a cult of insane people. For a while, I was ok because the SPLC had specifically targeted them as a hate group. But I’m certainly not surprised in the slightest that any member of this cult could go postal. I’m pretty sure the Times knows this as well.
It's a Rovian strength attack, overwriting the truth with screamingly gratuitous lying to force apart Adams' parallel powerpoints.
But as an awful 4channer I do so too terribly enjoy that all the people who bent over backwards to make nice, join in condemnations, and to try to be acceptable were the first to get slashed to ribbons. Reminds me of when that gang of black teenagers kidnapped that retarded white boy in Chicago and tortured him with a razor, all the while shouting their dislike of white people and President Trump.
The Times included the story in its now-defunct “This Week in Hate” section, but didn’t mention the respective races and vaguely described the incident as a gang of youths picking on a special needs child while “shouting about Trump.” (the obvious implication being that these were MAGA hat wearing young whites).

It is difficult to recover from death. I did it once, but I do not want to walk that path again.
I don’t know if someone has already brought this up, but here is a clear case of the media trying to obfuscate a story.
On December 4th, the NY Times put out a story about one George Nader, named in the Muller Report no less, being accused of concealing more than $3.5 million in campaign donations. The story features a prominent photo of Nader and Donald Trump. So you would assume this meant that Mr. Nader helped Trump to cheat.
It looks like this guy was playing both sides of the house. But clearly Hillary got a lot of the money. Yet from the photo at the top of the story, one would assume this was all on Trump.
The NYT purposefully published a picture of Nader with Trump to mislead the reading public.
By conventional standards she should be in prison for trafficking in classified documents, or at least prostitution, not reporting for the New York Times.Replies: @san joaquin sam, @Ian M.
Yes, it’s her.
But hey, sex work IS work!
From my extremely cursory knowledge of the group, the Proud Boys are vaguely hard-right, but they do not strike me as being interested in white nationalism, let alone neo-Nazism. They’ve had plenty of non-white members and McInnes has been clear that he has no time for Roof-style mass murdering nuts. The whole “pro Western chauvinist” thing strikes me as just as a heavy-handed, clumsy way of trolling the SJW crowd. Calling them a true threat to public safety and order is farcical. The two guys who were recently sentenced in New York were, judging from all available evidence, attacked by Antifa, who were clearly not pursued by the police on politically motivated directives from higher-ups who wanted convicted rightists, not leftists.
(As for Antifa? Hell, those kiddies just need to be put on their meds and given a good spanking. Good Lord, just shut them up with a wooden shampoo and be done with it.)
Now, actual white ethno-nationalists and neo-Nazis do pose a potential threat to the stability of the state, if they decide to get violent. I will agree with the article that the general psychology and background of the typical recruits to both movements are strikingly similar. But that also means like their jihadi cousins, they aren’t exactly the sharpest bulbs in the drawer. Ever since J. Edgar Hoover (yes, yes, bleating 60s liberals, that same big racist meanie) took down the KKK, the FBI has actually pretty good at neutralizing true organizational threats from that direction. Back in the 1960s and 1970s, when the USA did face some serious problems with organized radicals on the left, people realized the potential for counter-radicalization and decided to take action. So, any neo-Nazi group that gets serious traction in the US, the FBI is going to quickly swiss-cheese it with double agents. Not that the NYT exactly cares about the truth.
That just leaves the lone wolves, and well, what more can the FBI do about them short-term than they’ve already been doing, exactly? Unless we want to turn the United States into a police state, good luck: and even turning it to a police state might not entirely work, if China’s knifing sprees are indicators. Something’s more deeply wrong with modern culture, and that’s not going to be answered overnight.
Main difference is that radical Islam poses a threat to the stability of dozens of governments over multiple continents, though I do think the threat it poses to the United States specifically is occasionally overblown by the Right. We’re most in danger from our own elites and their helpers, as far as I’m concerned. Far-right white racialist movements, as of yet (and we’d better hope this doesn’t change), does not pose a threat to a single one. So, comparing the two is disingenuous.
It is dangerous, evil work by ideologically-driven people.

So is she a slut or a whore?
The first stories on this didn’t immediately label the shooters as white supremacists, so I immediately knew they weren’t white.
More time passed, and the MSM didn’t even call it ‘terrorism’. Sometimes the MSM admits the existence of Islamic terrorism. So I thought, wow, this level of information suppression can mean only one thing — the shooters were black. And sure enough.
'NAM shooters' is a disagreeable concept, and actual news is always in good taste. Last night (Dec. 11), NBC Evening News' segment on the incident did a pretty good job in that regard. They kind of had to show a photo of David N. Anderson, next to a silhouette of his accomplice (who might be white!). And they flashed 'former member of Black Israelites' on the screen. But, happily, the voice-over script offered no clue as to the perps' racial identity. So viewers who weren't paying close attention will still be able to draw the correct conclusion.
Any serious violent movement that gets to a dozen members will see half of them be feds, whereas any lone wolf attackers wont be impeded by this at all, because it is simply impossible to stop a lone wolf would-be terrorist who can follow the one, simple step of keeping his mouth shut before he acts.
Something my father once told me is that the police are there to catch and stop what he called ‘incidental murderers.’ Those committed during other crimes like robbery, speeding, etc. If a man purposefully sets out to kill other people, there’s not really much that’s going to stop them before they get started.
I suspect this “organization” will do what other feds do. Go after morons and loud mouths on social media as much as they can (which is practically nothing) while staying as far away as possible from already known, violent skinheads.
From what I have been told by people in those organizations, just about anyone who had violent tendencies was a Fed, a psycho, or both. At one point the leader of VVAW, John Kerry, quit because the psychos had taken over.
One VVAW member told me a number of stories about one particular Fed, Bill Lemmer. The stories were completely outrageous; as in are we living in a free republic or controlled by Stasi. After certain documents were made public, it turned out that every word of the most outlandish stories was correct.
One example — Bill Lemmer (I may have the name wrong) went to a VVAW meeting at the U of Arkansas. He started ranting about how they should blow up “Old Main”, the original building on campus. He finally convinced a PTSD shell shocked Vietnam vet to join his plan. The Fed supplied the bomb, and drove the vet to the location where the vet was promptly arrested. Your tax dollars at work.
I am very leery about the Islamic “terrorists” the Feds keep catching. Most are probably relative harmless kids. In fact, when someone goes into a mosque and starts talking about blowing things up, it is almost always another Muslim at that mosque who turns him in. A Muslim I met a couple of times in NYC turned in a terrorist.
And yes, the lone wolves are dangerous. I have family I. OK City. I saw what the bomb did. My grandfather died from a heart attack caused by that bomb. One of my relatives lost her best friend — 6 months pregnant— in that blast.
So terrorism is real, but the FBI has a long history of creating artificial terrorists to get their agents promoted.Replies: @Justvisiting, @nebulafox, @Joe Stalin, @anon
Bizarre.
Is there anywhere else in the world where people do that whole ‘Yard sign’ thing? It seems to be a uniquely American thing[1].
Bad enough when it’s signs for political candidates: until I was in my 30s I honestly thought that “political-candidate yard-sign” was a fictional TV plot device – akin to other tropes, like “sitting up abruptly after a nightmare“, or “eating a chocolate bar so that everyone can see what brand it is“, or “whispering loudly at each other” or “having 5-minute pointless conversations when your environment is known to include countless zombies sneaking up on people at 2.5mph groaning audibly“.
[1] let’s disqualify Canada from “anywhere else in the world“, since politically-active Canadians are as retarded as politically-active Americans.
Unfortunately, if they haven’t learned by now they never will!

The Black Israelites have been standing on street corners in NYC for decades, literally shouting the most vile anti-white crap you can imagine, and nobody says peep. They used to carry swords until the NYPD said nuh-uh, so then they started wearing plastic swords, which was kind of funny.
I used to work on Nevins Street in Brooklyn, near the Fulton Mall, where they had a setup directly across the street. Why are there kosher supermarkets in Jersey City? If you count subcontinentals, it’s the most Asian city east of California. (Counting slant-eyes only, it should still be St Paul.)
Asians can run their own stores, thank you, and many of ours as well. Is there still a Jewish presence in JCNJ, or are customers coming back for nostalgia?
I once did some genealogical research at the county offices there, and the place makes NYC look like Switzerland.
The NYPD is supposed to be bound by a consent decree going back to the 70s that limits their ability to engage in these sort of “red squad” tactics targeted on political groups. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handschu_agreement) I’m confident though this won’t be any impediment to their now harassing the Proud Boys or anybody who ever liked a Groyper image on Facebook. Unlike when Communists, Antifa, etc., get their feelings hurt by police, no lesbian lawyers will magically appear to represent anybody on the right. “Responsible conservatives” will wring their hands and decry the “bigots.” And so it goes.
Incidentally, there’s an ongoing trend of local agencies being encouraged to stretch their authority under state laws as widely as possible going after “extremists,” in part with the FBI or other alphabet boys in the background. In Washington state, Seattle police were able to go one county over to enforce a “red flag” order issued by a Seattle judge against an Atomwaffen member, without any concern for jurisdiction, and based solely on his membership in Atomwaffen. I wouldn’t be surprised if this NYPD unit wound up taking an even more expansive view of its jurisdiction, and chasing after “Nazis” far from New York. NYPD anti-terrorist officers have operated in foreign countries in the past.
IIRC the National Lawyers Guild was involved. Doubt they'll be interested in participation now.
Nah, when that happens they’ll just hire the right wing white extremists to deal with the brown communists.

There is a small recently established community of Satmar Hasidim in JC who have been pushed out of Brooklyn by gentrification so they found another black ghetto to move to. A minimum for a Hasidic community is some sort of school/prayer house (which was next door) and a grocery store where they can buy kosher food.

Strangely, instead we're getting the "overwhelming majority of BHIs are nonviolent" schtick.
Weird. It's almost like the narrative is immune to facts.Replies: @Jack D
The Black Hebrew Israelites have no centralized structure – anyone who wants to can call himself a Black Hebrew Israelites. Their preaching method is loud and intentionally provocative but up until yesterday they were not known to be violent as a group (although I’m sure that many of their members have extensive police records – they are super ghetto). If you are looking to get away with a crime, it pays not to dress in a ridiculous costume.
What the NY Police should really be watching out for:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7783885/College-student-18-stabbed-death-group-thugs-walking-park.html
When I was at Columbia (late 70s, early 80s) it was common knowledge that you should never set foot in Morningside Park. You could walk along the promenade at the top but never set foot on the stairs leading down into the park, not even in broad daylight let alone after dark. I never have to this day. I guess the advice has changed but it may have to change again. As De Blasio undoes all of the Guiliani/Bloomberg actions that led to the fall in crime, it is perhaps inevitable that crime in NY is going to go back up again. And not imaginary (white on Jewish) racist crimes but actual racist crimes of another sort – black on white violence.
It doesn't fit the narrative. Fair bet thanks to new insane criminal justice reforms enacted under Cuomo, at least one of this woman's killers should not have been on the street at all. Such reforms have been sold with an image of some poor black guy sitting in jail for several decades because of possession of 1 joint. Marijuana has been decriminalized for decades in NY, unless you are dumb enough to blow smoke in a patrolman's face. And even then you will be home before the cop's paperwork is done.
His former roommate and wife lived in CU employee housing in the 1980s. I visited them once, and you could see Morningside Park from their living room. Literally across the street. They told me they never dared enter the park. One of them claimed to have heard screams coming from the park once.
Supposedly the park is a lot safer now, but I wouldn’t venture into uncrowded areas, nor would I venture after dark.
Supposedly this poor young lady was murdered early evening, right after sundown.
One of my kids is applying to CC, and is supposed to find out the result of the application this evening. I am almost hoping for a rejection.Replies: @Jack D

Initially I wondered whether the time frame for doing so may be running out, not the least because America is running out of alpha-esque not-yet-senile straight white gentile males willing to explicitly play the stooge for the liberal international. Of course, that doesn’t exclude the possible infiltration by female double-agents, youngish female committed SWPLs being in rather abundant supply still. If such groups were smart, which they aren’t, they would exclude women from membership.
I hate Bill de Blasio but he’s not the primary reason everything is going to hell. Yes, a lot of it is passing through him but demography is destiny and therefore the resinking of NYC – and the election of a de Blasio – was inevitable. The white working- and middle-class family base that provided not only the core of electoral support for Koch, Giuliani and Bloomberg but also the key manpower to implement their solutions has been gutted by the continued mass Third-World leakage into America, unhelped of course by the aforementioned mayors’ sanctuary policies and those enclaves which remain are simply far too small population-wise to power an insurgent alternative. One way or another NYC would have been given back over to the barbarians.
You mentioned Koch and Bloomberg who were sensible about restoring law and order and just basic civilization to New York City - this refutes the anti Semite conspiracy mongering that New York Jews are always working to bring down (White) civilization.
Unfortunately Mayor Koch and Mayor Bloomberg were/are crazy, nation destroying when it comes to the subject of immigration. And in this case it is sadly true that American Jews will overwhelmingly demand open borders mass immigration, no limits in numbers and no restrictions based on religion (Islam), national origin, race/ethnicity. It goes under the line of reasoning:
"Well those White WASP nativists tried to keep out my grandfather and this is something Hitler would do".

A French economist has picked up and examined Steve’s theory the US has become a lot less competitive through endless mergers, and finds he is right.
------
And it'll get worse: past generations enjoyed memories of how different technological systems worked, which enabled better analysis. Between the "buy a new one" mindset from China and the "cause them to give up on complaining and then say we reduced complaints" Indians, companies have succeeded in cutting most ties to general ideas of customer service and reliability.
------
Sort of good news on this front: people are learning more about BitChute (which, someday, might have a usable search function!), and YouTube's December Tenth censorship drive was rather limited (although it followed earlier censorship drives). YouTube is a great example of a decent service driven straight into the ground by clueless leadership.
The NYT is basically demanding the NYPD act like the cops from Edie Murphy’s Beverly Hills Cop: a private police force for the rich who go around harassing the rabble.
This will roll up as a right wing, anti-semitic hate incident in the ADL and SPLC’s hate crimes databases. I wouldn’t be surprised if they purposely misattribute this to white nationalism like they’ve done with crimes by whites that have had no racial motivation like when a former klan member gets killed by his wife in a domestic dispute. The ADL and SPLC consider that a white nationalist terror incident.

As we know, young, attractive women would be at a disadvantage in seducing Spacey.
This has been known for some time now, at least as it relates to following up specific merger cases. I would also guess that “diversity” has done the same to competitiveness. Notice how almost everything from Hollywood these days either pales in comparison to things from the past, at least creatively, or is merely cultural strip mining en lieu of original creations; the Marvel movies, for example. I would guess that a combination of white male self-censorship, odious diversity requirements, indentity-based hiring, and misplaced priorities from social climbing woke executives have all contributed to a severe waning of the industry verve. When white males don’t create things in the US, nothing much important gets created. Even the newest affirmative action female directors of late are merely appropriating things created first by white men.
The only other demographic that has had mainstream success is white females — Harry Potter, Twilight, The Hunger Games, etc. But even that demographic is increasingly demoralized. How could they not be when heterosexual relationships and many of the other topics they fantasize about have become increasingly taboo? In the future, all we’ll get are Tyler Perry movies because the left will be too scared of being called racist to bother saying anything negative about them. They’ll be successful domestically but have little international appeal.
For the most part, American companies get by through overwhelming the smaller competition with enormous R&D expenditures and economy of scale. Intel, for example, relies on huge research efforts but have recently been challenged by AMD as the slowing of Moore’s Law has changed the cost v. benefit equation of chip manufacture. AMD, company with superior understanding of the market along with competitive pricing, is giving Intel a run for their money. Same for American movies — huge SFX budgets and continual CGI advancement antiquates live-action foreign films almost immediately, but that can’t last forever with coming deepfake and deepvoice technologies.
When those factors haven’t been an issue (example: Japanese cars and video games) the US has lost significant ground. Sony, for instance, has had the best-selling video game console for nearly a quarter century and has dominated and destroyed the much larger Microsoft Corporation this generation, a company characterized by terribly uninspired and poor-selling games. Although, the corporate size of Microsoft likely also played a significant role even as several third party publishers have also released dud after SJW-laden dud since The Great Awokening.
I expect the Chinese to replicate Japan’s success in the entertainment industry when CGI replaces actors. With similar technologies, they are currently making great inroads in the Western videogame market through platforms like Epic and partnerships with Western companies like Activision; several popular games are Chinese in some fashion. They are also well on their way to creating a viable competitor to Boeing in aerospace and Intel in chip design. Their social media is already very competitive here in the US; TikTok is doing great, so much so that congress is scared of their influence on kids. Imagine when China sets up a “free speech” competitor to YouTube (obviously blocked in the mainland) with the intent of causing trouble in the United States through promoting a counter-narrative to disaffected groups, including the censored dissident right.
I also think the issue goes beyond mere mergers to the culture that inspires them in the first place. America of 2020 is atomized to an extreme degree. There are no social bonds or cultural obligations because there is no common culture anymore while nothing much matters and everything is relative to the immediate self-interest of the individual. That means there is no civic consideration in any business decision made. Unlike Japanese companies, American corporations are run by people who are only out for themselves. That means short-term policies that boost the job prospects of up and coming hotshots to the company’s long-term detriment. Example: a company’s CFO comes in and cuts hundreds of jobs and the stock price soars in response. Three years later, and they’ve moved on to a nice new CEO job based on that performance while the company they left then starts to pay the price as competitors take marketshare from it because the CFO callously devalued the product and customer service through profitable short-term, but devastating long-term, policies. But hey, at least the CFO got something out of it.
Japanese companies, in contrast, take pride in maintaining the long-term prospects of their company. They go out of their way to maintain any culturally-relevant intellectual property instead of debasing them for short-term stock value and radical leftist social approval; you’ll never see Nintendo’s Princess Peach, for example, shave her head and lecture the kids about toxic masculinity. In fact, I believe several Japanese and Chinese companies have barred left-wing political activism promotion on their platforms.
Here’s a Japanese executive prostrating himself to customers merely for not having a video game out in the expected time frame. Did Boeing’s management similarly apologize after all those people died on their planes because they got cheap and outsourced the programming responsibilities to India?
This one video explains why the US will get dusted by the Asian collectivist shame cultures in the future:
Development update on Metroid Prime 4 for Nintendo Switch
American companies "innovate" to some degree via the purchase of smaller companies. It's easier that way for all concerned.
Intel, for example, relies on huge research efforts but have recently been challenged by AMD
For years, the existence of AMD prevented any serious anti-trust / anti-monopoly action against Intel. That probably was the primary reason for AMD's continued existence.
Gamers are a significant market for computing, and AMD's architectural improvements over the last product cycle or two have made them the first choice. It remains to be seen if the ARM approach will catch up, or if that won't matter because portable devices continue to outsell desktops.

‘NAM shooters’ is a disagreeable concept, and actual news is always in good taste. Last night (Dec. 11), NBC Evening News‘ segment on the incident did a pretty good job in that regard. They kind of had to show a photo of David N. Anderson, next to a silhouette of his accomplice (who might be white!). And they flashed ‘former member of Black Israelites’ on the screen. But, happily, the voice-over script offered no clue as to the perps’ racial identity. So viewers who weren’t paying close attention will still be able to draw the correct conclusion.
Targeting people for political views, e.g. "far-right," is a bit much--as in a 1st & 4th amendment civil rights violation. Obscuring the targeting by hiding behind the rhetoric of "extremist hate" is a clever sleight of hand. Is crimethink now in the penal code?
Tell me NYPD, what is the probable cause evidence for these "dozens of open investigations"? Hunches? Or actual criminal complaints? (The usual caveat that they cannot discuss open investigations is another technique to avoid scrutiny.)
"[T]he far-right extremist groups are not that different in nature from Islamic extremist groups," except for the lack of a lengthy history of carrying out acts of terrorism going back (at least, in NYC) to the first WTC bombing in 1993. And the NYPD got stuffed by a court for their surveillance of Islamic groups.

Not particularly craven, given the fact that Phillips was there in his chosen role of “activist”, but craven nonetheless. It might be more accurately described as typically craven. It’s probably an unwritten rule that indian activists must bow before black activists in any public venue.
Phillips has lied over and over about the incident, in which he began to taunt a group of school kids in response to being taunted himself by the black israelites, who were also taunting the kids. Apparently, that’s part of what the black israelites do, when they aren’t shooting people.

The race of the perps in the Barnard girls park mugging/murder?
I disagree. There are more white people living in Harlem now than at any time in the last 100 years. Of course the Grant Houses projects (a dubious but perhaps ironically deserved honor for Gen. Grant who is buried nearby) remain mostly black but the real issue is whether the NYC police force actually enforces the law or not. When they enforce the laws, crime goes down and when they don’t it goes back up.
NYC is a lot safer than in the old days, including Harlem, but there are still some nasty people.
Come January 1st, New York City is adopting San Francisco style law enforcement. This is what the population wants and it will get it good and hard, unfortunately.
I’ve seen the mainstream/lamestream media lying and viciously slandering White Conservatives, alleged White racialists my entire life.
I noted that when JFK was shot and killed in the Conservative very White city of Dallas TX. Walter Cronkite immediately jumped to the conclusion that a Conservative racist, haters had killed President Kennedy and killed the liberal, Kennedy idealism of progress, civil rights, education etc.
Cronkite pronounced :
“Hate Killed President Kennedy”.
Then it turned out that JFK’s murder was a Leftist free Cuba Communist that hated President Kennedy because of the Kennedy administrations efforts (tried to assassinate Fidel Castro) to removed President Kennedy.
It seems impossible now, but back in 1960-63 John F Kennedy and the whole Kennedy family (maybe not Teddy) were strongly anti Communist.
So the spin has been made that whenever some Communist/Leftist or now Islamist or Black Israelite thug murders people it’s not really their fault because supposed White Conservative racists control the climate and they are to blame for creating a ….
Climate of hatred and intolerance.
And then everything gets rescripted on Law and Order and the bad guys become blue eyed White racists.
Morningside Park, you say? Just today (Dec 12) the NY Times reports a young white Barnard student was stabbed to death there. Perhaps she was a SJW who thought that the idea of black and brown urban criminality was a racist myth, and so ignored the danger. Poor girl.
was her killing randomor not?she made it to a security shack but the guard was 'on rounds' for half an hour; she was unconscious (bled out?) by time guard returned.RIP poor little girlfor a white girl, I wonder if there are any Thoughts and Prayers available?
But the demographics of New York City didn’t have to change in to 3rd world barbarism. In such situations, change the subject.
I do have a few Jewish friends and those particular ones are as resolutely anti-immigration as I am. I can't imagine, at this late stage, choosing to become friends with ANYONE who supports mass immigration.
Black Hebrew Israelites were way ahead of the game when it comes to People of Color in Medieval Europe.

Something my father once told me is that the police are there to catch and stop what he called 'incidental murderers.' Those committed during other crimes like robbery, speeding, etc. If a man purposefully sets out to kill other people, there's not really much that's going to stop them before they get started.

As I mentioned, I think the threat that radical Islam poses to the US is overblown: unlike some countries I can name, I do not think it poses a threat to the stability of the American state. And having seen intelligence officers as the human beings (aka, you have good and bad ones) they really are, don’t put it above the IC to overblow it for the purpose of getting funding or glory.
Our own native Muslim populace is modest, geographically dispersed, and for the most part, highly assimilated and socioeconomically affluent/educated. European intelligence agencies deeply envy how good we’ve got it with Muslims, and find it comical that there are people in the US who think that aping European anti-assimilation tendencies with immigrants is anything approximating a good idea.
Again: I think the Left and the Right both get it wrong. Our biggest threat is not street radicals from either direction, it is the Swamp and the donors who really control the United States. The answer to not having the former in coming decades is changing the latter. Current political battles reflect fights within different elite factions more than anything else, with the politicians serving as kabuki actors.
>And yes, the lone wolves are dangerous. I have family I. OK City. I saw what the bomb did. My grandfather died from a heart attack caused by that bomb. One of my relatives lost her best friend — 6 months pregnant— in that blast.
Yeah, OKC immediately pops to mind whenever people on this website assert that a right-wing rebellion would be something to be welcomed.
But what exactly can we do to stop lone wolves without heightening creepy state measures? I really don’t want our current elites to have more discretionary power over the privacy of US citizens than they already do, whether we’re talking about Silicon Valley oligarchs or the Beltway.
>So terrorism is real, but the FBI has a long history of creating artificial terrorists to get their agents promoted.
Don’t ascribe to self-serving calculation what can be explained by bureaucratic inertia. There’s no calculated, coherent plan to the war in Afghanistan. No more is there to domestic security measures.
For example, a cousin and her husband have fairly high level DC government jobs. When Clinton came to power, they were given all sorts of direction as to what they were supposed to achieve. When Bush 2 came to power, they were given no directions whatsoever, so they continued doing whatever it was they had been doing.Replies: @Art Deco
Wait until the cops actually doing their job and when they arrest too many of the wrong color the unit will be disbanded.
Certain sectors of government can often have viewpoints that differ from the administration. The State Department, always a hotbed of establishment center-left viewpoints since its foundation (which meant that in the 1950s it was heavily anti-Communist/anti-Soviet, it all fits), was already bullying former Warsaw Pact countries about not welcoming mass immigration and not being friendly enough to gay people during the Bush II years. This was despite having a White House administration that would have never contemplated gay marriage-or an electorate back in the United States that would have. People forget how quick that turnaround was, i.e, Obama’s views on the subject in 2008.
But as far as the White Houses directly go, I will say this: I cannot imagine Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter being willing to sink relations with Russia over gay rights. When Carter turned anti-Soviet in 1979, it had less to do with human rights than it did geopolitics. Even Obama in his first term probably wouldn’t have done what he did in his second. That reflects the ideological shifts going on within the Democratic Party when it became apparent that the election of this pseudo-religious figure for liberals wasn’t going to transform American society into a post-racial diverse paradise. Instead of reflecting on themselves, they got angry at Old America.
And they’re a lot less sinister once a person knows the least fact about incidence of venereal disease.

Not particularly craven, given the fact that Phillips was there in his chosen role of "activist", but craven nonetheless. It might be more accurately described as typically craven. It's probably an unwritten rule that indian activists must bow before black activists in any public venue.
Phillips has lied over and over about the incident, in which he began to taunt a group of school kids in response to being taunted himself by the black israelites, who were also taunting the kids. Apparently, that's part of what the black israelites do, when they aren't shooting people.Replies: @Jack D
That’s the MAIN thing that Black Israelites d0 – stand on the street corner in prominent public places – Times Square, Fulton St. in Brooklyn, on the Mall in DC, etc. wearing their stupid costumes (actually most of them are too poor to afford a full outfit so they wear these incongruous combinations which are 1/2 standard ghetto attire and 1/2 biblical robes of grade school show costume quality) and give “sermons” and harangue passers-by thru their bull-horns. I always regarded them as harmless cranks and primitives (although as ghetto blacks they certainly had the potential for violence – it was best to just steer clear of them), more comical than threatening. But then again that’s what the Jews of Berlin thought about the early Nazis.
Now most Black Israelites look like they are the kind of guys that have a rap sheet that is 10 pages long, but only for standard ghetto type crimes – drug dealing, robbery, etc. Up until the other day, shooting up Jewish businesses (or any kind of hate violent hate crime) wasn’t really part of their ideology and it sounds like this guy was freelancing and not acting in an official capacity.

Apparently the initial suspension was over his Tinder profile in which he said that he was looking for women who had never consorted with a black man. Now as you say, this is a reasonable request from a public health POV but you have to be a frickin’ idiot to publicly request this in social media in the Current Year. The reasonable way to do this is to meet the woman first and elicit her preferences over drinks (and even then you would not ask her this question in such a direct way. You might ask her, “Would you prefer to sleep with Pusha T or Kodak Black?” and if she does not balk at the prospect of sleeping with either, then you keep looking. If, OTOH, she exclaims, “I would never permit a dusky canoe to paddle thru my pure white birth canyon”, then you have found your girl!
Was Riverside Park similarly off-limits?
This is also because the diplomatic career track lends itself to….alternative life styles.
Also, police and special ethnic militia Shomrim were on site already. One of the justifications of the blatantly offensive and anti-constitutional special ethnic militia is the proper handling of dead Orthodox Jewish bodies. (There’s also a special ambulance service for Haredi victims of terrorism in Israel to accommodate these requirements.) I think it is impossible that the bodies were “laying in blood.” But what they were laying is of course new hate speech and gun control legislation.

For the most part, American companies get by through overwhelming the smaller competition with enormous R&D expenditures and economy of scale. Intel, for example, relies on huge research efforts but have recently been challenged by AMD as the slowing of Moore's Law has changed the cost v. benefit equation of chip manufacture. AMD, company with superior understanding of the market along with competitive pricing, is giving Intel a run for their money. Same for American movies -- huge SFX budgets and continual CGI advancement antiquates live-action foreign films almost immediately, but that can't last forever with coming deepfake and deepvoice technologies.
When those factors haven't been an issue (example: Japanese cars and video games) the US has lost significant ground.
I expect the Chinese to replicate Japan's success in the entertainment industry when CGI replaces actors. Imagine when China sets up a "free speech" competitor to YouTube (obviously blocked in the mainland) with the intent of causing trouble in the United States through promoting a counter-narrative to disaffected groups, including the censored dissident right.
That means short-term policies that boost the job prospects of up and coming hotshots to the company's long-term detriment. Example: a company's CFO comes in and cuts hundreds of jobs and the stock price soars in response. Three years later, and they've moved on to a nice new CEO job based on that performance while the company they left then starts to pay the price as competitors take marketshare from it because the CFO callously devalued the product and customer service through profitable short-term, but devastating long-term, policies. But hey, at least the CFO got something out of it.
Japanese companies, in contrast, take pride in maintaining the long-term prospects of their company. They go out of their way to maintain any culturally-relevant intellectual property instead of debasing them for short-term stock value and radical leftist social approval; you'll never see Nintendo's Princess Peach, for example, shave her head and lecture the kids about toxic masculinity. In fact, I believe several Japanese and Chinese companies have barred left-wing political activism promotion on their platforms.
Here's a Japanese executive prostrating himself to customers merely for not having a video game out in the expected time frame. Did Boeing's management similarly apologize after all those people died on their planes because they got cheap and outsourced the programming responsibilities to India?

American companies “innovate” to some degree via the purchase of smaller companies. It’s easier that way for all concerned.
Intel, for example, relies on huge research efforts but have recently been challenged by AMD
For years, the existence of AMD prevented any serious anti-trust / anti-monopoly action against Intel. That probably was the primary reason for AMD’s continued existence.
Gamers are a significant market for computing, and AMD’s architectural improvements over the last product cycle or two have made them the first choice. It remains to be seen if the ARM approach will catch up, or if that won’t matter because portable devices continue to outsell desktops.

I think many people, especially Republicans, don’t really understand the inertia.

When Bush 2 came to power, they were given no directions whatsoever, so they continued doing whatever it was they had been doing.
Bush himself (and see his own budget director on this point) had little interest in confronting the political establishment on any domestic issue. (Also, the Republicans never had a particularly secure majority in either house of Congress). Bush had commitments he'd stick to, but not much in the way of convictions. More spine than his father, less inclined toward generic 'public service' (which, in turn, was more his grandfather's shtick), but about the same disposition toward public life otherwise. Karl Rove's assessment of him - "George W. Bush is the most competitive man I have ever met" - I suspect explains why he entered the oil exploration business and why he entered electoral politics.

“Lone wolf terrorist” is to Murrah office building as “Arab hijacker” is to WTC 7.
In both cases, factual details contradict the official Narrative, but are ignored by most people for various reasons. Because who wants to consider government officials allowing such atrocities to be committed against their own people? Who wants to think about Americans going out of their way to murder other Americans for murky goals? It’s quite painful to contemplate, and so most people do not do so. Instead they embrace whatever explanation is most congruent with their beliefs and prejudices.
The horrible murderous attack in 1990’s OKC is more convincing as an argument for the existence of the Deep State, than it is for any “lone wolf terrorist”. The details always matter.
My brother graduated from CC in 1979. He lived in 122 St for a while afterwards. He was almost 6’4”. He had no fear of getting off the 1 train at 125 St after midnight and walking through Harlem back to 122 St. But he never once set foot in Morningside Park, not even in broad daylight.
I am almost hoping for a rejection.
Incidents like this have been extremely rare in recent years and the overall homicides in NY (most of which occur between drug dealers, etc.) are down to where they were in early '60s before the great crime wave. Hopefully this incident was just a blip and not the start of a new decline.Replies: @Johann Ricke, @Paleo Liberal

A French economist has picked up and examined Steve's theory the US has become a lot less competitive through endless mergers, and finds he is right.Replies: @J.Ross
It’s notable that this illustration of very basic economics was picked up on by only Steve and a frog. There is a time in a business’s life when mergers make sense, but many of the recent ones were Big Finance commanding every other sector.

And it’ll get worse: past generations enjoyed memories of how different technological systems worked, which enabled better analysis. Between the “buy a new one” mindset from China and the “cause them to give up on complaining and then say we reduced complaints” Indians, companies have succeeded in cutting most ties to general ideas of customer service and reliability.

Sort of good news on this front: people are learning more about BitChute (which, someday, might have a usable search function!), and YouTube’s December Tenth censorship drive was rather limited (although it followed earlier censorship drives). YouTube is a great example of a decent service driven straight into the ground by clueless leadership.

Good luck. I honestly wouldn’t worry. New York nowadays is generally a safe place as long as you exercise some common sense precautions (such as not going into Morningside Park, especially not after dark). Because you spend much less time in an automobile than you would out in the country (and when you are in a car you are not going very fast) that counterbalances any increased danger from crime. Wrapping your car around a phone pole, while not as dramatic as being stabbed by a gang of ghetto yoofs, is unfortunately all too common.
Incidents like this have been extremely rare in recent years and the overall homicides in NY (most of which occur between drug dealers, etc.) are down to where they were in early ’60s before the great crime wave. Hopefully this incident was just a blip and not the start of a new decline.

It is amazing how competitive colleges have gotten these days. For example, an older sibling is attending one of the “second tier” colleges in Boston. First tier would be Harvard and MIT; second tier would be BC, BU, Brandeis, Northeastern, Tufts and Wellesley. These days the second tier colleges are in the 10-20% acceptance range. Back in our time the most selective Ivies had over 25%. Columbia is about 5-6%. HYPS are in about the 4% range. So my kid needs a lot of luck to get in just about anywhere.Replies: @Jack D

Other violent crimes have gone up significantly on a per capita basis since the 60’s. Rape has quadrupled. Aggravated assault has tripled. An important reason for the decline in murders, as Mr. Sailer has pointed out, may be a big improvement in trauma care.

Here in northern NJ there are entire towns that have “Hate has no home here,” or, “Hate-free community” under their welcome signs.
Then, much later, there was this aggressive campaigning about phantom Nazism, and many, many more people had an "I'm not a Nazi" three-language sign than had had a Hillary sign.

Not long.
It won’t be shut down though. It will be “repurposed” with a much more specific mission: get whitey.

If you’re already circumcised, you just need a ceremonial drop of blood pricked from your penis with a diabetes lancing device (this I learned from Luke Ford, who says he had this done twice, once when he did a reform conversion, and and the second time when he converted to Orthodox Judaism.).
Harlem is not the World, nor is it NYC. Gentrification of Manhattan in Harlem or the Lower East Side is not representative of the demographics of the outer boroughs. The Archie Bunker and Saturday Night Fever heartlands of Queens and Brooklyn that elected hard nosed, tough guy mayors in New York like Koch, Giuiliani and Bloomberg are no more. Whites in New York consists of a rich hyper liberal elite, Orthodox heartlands in Brooklyn and the Italians on the South Shore of Staten Island.
Come January 1st, New York City is adopting San Francisco style law enforcement. This is what the population wants and it will get it good and hard, unfortunately.

Yeah, but reporting for the New York Times is more degrading work than prostitution. So in a healthier society, she would have lost her license for prostitution and been ostracized from the harlot community once it was discovered she associated with NYT lowlifes and degenerates.

the Barnard girl who was stabbed to death is (was) from Charlottesville, went to Charlottesville’s St. Ann’s-Belfield. Her dad a professor of creative writing @ James Madison U, outside of Charlottesville; they moved from smaller-town Waynesboro to ‘big city’ Charlottesville a few years ago — maybe to facilitate her schooling? She was at Barnard on scholarship.

Okay, I am going to revert. Somehow my prior post rings true, and my revision rings hollow.
Right, but I saw him eat a baby.
It is de Blasio’s fault. He’s a damn baby eater. He is all “ooh such a cute baby – let me kiss your baby” and then the mother hands over the baby and de Blasio eats the baby.
In one bite!
My hope is that Trump will confront de Blasio and swallow de Blasio whole. I’ll bet that bastard Bloomberg will lie low after that!
I remember those Black Israelite bastards from Times Square as a college student in NYC. The cops never bothered them although they would shout the most vicious insults into the ear of any white by-passer.
On the subway, they would stand very close right in front of seated women and glare down at them until they were given money. They were pretty big scary dudes, as I remember.
I never gave them a dime. Probably lucky I didn’t get pounded for that, but God protects fools sometimes.
There are just some people in this world, much like the Westboro Baptists, who enjoy tormenting others. They live for it.
Can’t explain it.
A “commentator” is an essential part of an eclectic motor, energizing conversationage in those around it.
There has been a significant increase in the frequency of violence by right-wingers over the last few years though: just search Counter-Currents and you’ll find probably a dozen instances of the same Greg Johnson article written in the wake of every shooting or massacre carried out by a white right-winger over the past few years.
So it would be rational for law enforcement to take note of this and ‘target’ certain people who seem to fit the profile.
That in itself would be no reason for alarm. The problem is 1) the left’s hypocrisy: they don’t apply the same reasoning to Islam or to leftwing groups like antifa; 2) the obvious ulterior motive of wanting to exploit the legitimate threat of rightwing terrorism (which is always perpetrated by loners) in order to persecute peaceful rightwing groups.
For example, a cousin and her husband have fairly high level DC government jobs. When Clinton came to power, they were given all sorts of direction as to what they were supposed to achieve. Bush himself (and see his own budget director on this point) had little interest in confronting the political establishment on any domestic issue. (Also, the Republicans never had a particularly secure majority in either house of Congress). Bush had commitments he’d stick to, but not much in the way of convictions. More spine than his father, less inclined toward generic ‘public service’ (which, in turn, was more his grandfather’s shtick), but about the same disposition toward public life otherwise. Karl Rove’s assessment of him – “George W. Bush is the most competitive man I have ever met” – I suspect explains why he entered the oil exploration business and why he entered electoral politics.
Police “intelligence” bureau?!? Isn’t that an oxymoron?
I remember counting the Hillary support lawn signs, not only by me but across a pretty respectable commute. There were about a half dozen of them, and I remember seeing the guy driving around in a hatchback hand them out with a beleaguered look on his face, the day after Trump had said something about people voting with their lawn signs.
Then, much later, there was this aggressive campaigning about phantom Nazism, and many, many more people had an “I’m not a Nazi” three-language sign than had had a Hillary sign.

I know that it is crazy. I am glad that my kids are done with that process. The crazy thing about the Singer case is that people were paying bribes not just to get into Stanford or Yale but into 2nd tier schools like USC. In my day, they would have had to have bribed ME to go there.
Just applied to USC, matter of fact. USC now has about 11-12% acceptance rate; very fashionable amongst the rich and famous in LA.
So they pay outrageous bribes just so they can brag about their kids at the fancy LA parties.

I said NYC. Harlem isn’t NYC, and even Manhattan is only the third-most populous borough in NYC (and it doesn’t beat the fourth – Bronx – by even 20%). The city as a whole has gotten less non-Hispanic white since the Giuliani years. Even Manhattan alone is about as non-Hispanic white as or slightly less so than it was in 1990. It never seemed to occur (and maybe it still doesn’t occur) to the uni weenies whining about gentrification “pushing out blacks” that given the TFRs we were going to run out of whites to do the pushing, at some point.
(Right in both instances)
My suggestion to readers here J and Gentile is to just understand this situation - it is what it is. Don't let your town, city, state go the way of New York City or Haiti or Zimbabwe. You can certainly have Jewish friends and not hate Jewish people, just understand when the live or die, mostly die issue of mass 3rd world immigration these J people are going to be supporting, denying the mass invasion, the great replacement.
In such situations, change the subject.Replies: @Nico
You’re pretty much preaching to the choir. Having Irish and Scottish ancestry I suppose I could don on a Celtic barbarian pose and scream “BRIT TROOPS OUT” till my face were as naturally blue as ancient Gaels’ facepaint – but frankly the more time I’ve spent in Ireland the more I wish they would bring back the British Army.
I do have a few Jewish friends and those particular ones are as resolutely anti-immigration as I am. I can’t imagine, at this late stage, choosing to become friends with ANYONE who supports mass immigration.
