From ESPN:

Ravens call off DNA Day as biotech firm talks to state
10:24 AM PT
Jamison Hensley

BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Ravens announced that they have rescheduled DNA Day about 2 1/2 hours before the kickoff of their home opener.

The Ravens had planned to give out free DNA test kits to fans as they entered the stadium. …

Fans would’ve been able to swab the inside of their cheek, drop the sample into a stadium bin and register with the company online. …

“The privacy policy stated that the company could keep any information obtained for as long as they wanted and they could share it in any way,” said Bradley Shear, a Maryland-based sports privacy lawyer, who reviewed the document. “Now imagine there’s a crime in the vicinity of the stadium and they give law enforcement the information from Ravens fans whose information was volunteered.”

Retired Ravens legend Ray Lewis probably doesn’t want anyone getting a copy of his DNA, just to be on the safe side.

  1. The “product” for all these companies (I.e. The DNA test itself) is always a loss leader for these companies and the real product is vast reams of genomic data. Pretty clever marketing attempt to get genetic information from thousands of low information, docile consumers. Close, but no cigar.

Having attended games in PHI, BAL, DC and BUF over the past couple years, the quality of fan, mostly due to rising ticket prices, has risen dramatically.

You'd think that wouldn't be the case due to the enjoyment of the in-home experience of the NFL in glorious high definition, but a full day of tailgating w/ friends and family is still considered mighty enjoyable by many people.

Can you imagine a father and son going to a football game and then a few weeks later finding out they are not genetically related? Maury Povich would be starring in that movie after Hollywood got the rights to the future "comedy"! And I'm sure the family would be depicted as Christian, white Trump voters.

One of the big mass murderers of US history, killing 42 others on 7 December 1987, has had his identity & photo obscured ever since the week of California’s worst-ever mass-murder … David Burke, a black man born of Jamaican-British parents, fired from his airline job for a theft of $69, used his still-valid pass to board Flight 1771 on which his supervisor Raymond Thompson was also a passenger, Burke concealing a .44 handgun. More from Mike King at Tomato Bubble:

After boarding the plane, Burke wrote a message on an air-sickness bag. It is probable that he gave the message to Thomson to read. The note, later discovered near the crash site, read:

“Hi Ray. I think it’s sort of ironical that we ended up like this. I asked for some leniency for my family. Remember? Well, I got none and you’ll get none.”

The captain and the co-pilot were speaking to air traffic control when the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) picked up the sound of the first two shots being fired. The co-pilot immediately reported that a gun had been fired and no further transmissions were received from the crew.

At that point, the CVR recorded the cockpit door opening and a female flight attendant telling the pilots, “We have a problem!” The captain replied, “What kind of problem?” A shot was heard as Burke shot the flight attendant dead, and announced “I’m the problem.” He then fired two more rounds. Most likely, he shot the pilot and copilot once each, incapacitating or killing them on the spot.

A final gunshot was heard followed not long after by a sudden silence. It is believed that Burke killed the airline’s chief pilot, who was also on board as a passenger and may have been trying to reach the cockpit to save the aircraft.

After spending 2 days as one of the front page stories of the New York Times, (December 8 & 9), the story dropped down to page A-28 as soon as it was learned who the shooter-hijacker actually was (December 11). Burke’s photo was never published. By the following day, the historic mass murder drama was gone from Sulzberger’s Times, and the TV media, altogether.

Last week, Jones announced (on his show) that he was drawing down on his political commentary and going back to more long-form segments on non-political conspiracies (e.g. JFK, vaccines, UFOs, Geo-engineering, etc.).

Jones said that he went hard into politics in this past cycle because Trump was so important and the stakes so high, but he felt he was neglecting somethings his audience wanted to hear.

No idea whether Jones's real reason is (1) his stated excuse; (2) pressure from advertisers (who all seem to be herb-sellers, and therefore fine with it); (3) pressure from his fan base (Jones has been known to draw a significant percentage of his audience from black-lefty and regular-lefty conspiracy-types, including Richard Beltzer; (4) pressure from Trump, who appeared on Jones's show during the campaign; or (5) pressure from Google Ads, who pulled Jones's account not too long ago.

But it is noteworthy that Jones openly he's reducing his political stuff.

Missouri governor Eric Greitens on the riots in St. Louis.

“Saturday night, some criminals decided to pick up rocks and break windows. They thought they’d get away with it. They were wrong. Our officers caught ‘em, cuffed ‘em, and threw ‘em in jail.

In the past, our leaders let people break windows, loot, start fires. They let them do it. Not this time. Tonight, the police arrested the vandals. At this moment, they’re all sitting in a jail cell. They’re gonna wake up and face felony charges.

These aren’t protestors, these are criminals.

Criminals, listen up: you break a window, you’re going to be behind bars. It’s that simple.”

  8. The NFL is total bread and circuses. Young people are not that much interested in the crumbs of entertainment offered up by plutocrat owners of NFL franchises. Young people in the Alt-Right sense that the American Empire is imploding and they want to focus on that event rather than whether or not some boob can catch a football.

The Alt-Right explicitly represents the interests of White Core America. The Democrat Party’s Black Lives Matter is similar to the NFL in that Blacks are used as puppets to distract and entertain the White masses. Young White Core Americans don’t give a damn about Black football players in the NFL or Black thugs in the Black Lives Matter mob.

It is a sign of rejuvenation and strength that young White Core Americans are building their own political movement called the Alt-Right while they are simultaneously ignoring the distractionary bread and circuses nonsense of the NFL.

I’m imagining the police using the DNA to arrest and convict the criminal. I’m imagining the criminal in a long prison term, off our streets. These are good things.

In reality if there was a crime near the Ravens stadium, it was committed by a black local resident who did not attend the game, against a White from the county who did attend the game. The cops would have tons of DNA samples of people likely to be victims, but comapratively few by people likely to be perps (other than the players of course).

Taking the pee out of physics: how boys are getting a leg-up

Physics is heavily skewed towards boys because they have a unique advantage when it comes to understanding projectile motion – and, argue Anna Wilson, Kate Wilson and David Low, it’s an area too heavily relied on in many curricula
Some of you will think we’re daft. Some will wonder what kind of jobs we have if we have enough time on our hands to dream this kind of thing up. Some of you may even think we’re having you on. Our intentions, however, are honourable.

Playful urination practices – from seeing how high you can pee to games such as Peeball (where men compete using their urine to destroy a ball placed in a urinal) – may give boys an advantage over girls when it comes to physics. And we believe there’s something we can do about it.

Or figuring out how to drive a stick shift at age 3? Of course it took 2 boys, one on the floor on the pedals and the other on the steering wheel and the stick, but they managed to put it in drive and get out of the driveway. Luckily the one on the pedals knew the difference between brake and accelerator.

We must teach girls to set forest fires and drive at age 3. Equality now!! equality forever! End the gender gap.

A shot was heard as Burke shot the flight attendant dead, and announced "I'm the problem." He then fired two more rounds. Most likely, he shot the pilot and copilot once each, incapacitating or killing them on the spot.

A final gunshot was heard followed not long after by a sudden silence. It is believed that Burke killed the airline's chief pilot, who was also on board as a passenger and may have been trying to reach the cockpit to save the aircraft.

After spending 2 days as one of the front page stories of the New York Times, (December 8 & 9), the story dropped down to page A-28 as soon as it was learned who the shooter-hijacker actually was (December 11). Burke's photo was never published. By the following day, the historic mass murder drama was gone from Sulzberger's Times, and the TV media, altogether.

  19. Adam Carolla has been circulating a similar idea for a long time to find deadbeat dads who aren’t paying child support. The idea is basically to offer a promotion that appeals to that demographic. Like “Raiders day” in Oakland. Or cock-fighting. Check ID at the door, and have cops standing by with the paddy wagons to catch the 1 in 6 visitors that haven’t paid child support.

When you think about the kinds of people that will pay $99 for a DNA test, it’s going to be a pretty self-selected group of the top ~15% in terms of intelligence and income. People who understand the technology, are curious, and aren’t afraid of scientists. The kinds of people who went to college 50 years ago. If you want an accurate slice of humanity you have to include the Raiders crowd too.

I wouldn't be shocked if this IS A covert intel op by the FBI or some like organization.

Im speculating on intent but anything from just wanting a generic DNA top secret database to they may be looking for sleeper terrorist cells or spies that they'll cross reference with DNA samples they already have.

Who knows whos behind it. I know this will sound like a spy novel but maybe they discovered an improvised nuke or fertilizer bomb that didn't go off & they recovered DNA from it & theyve narrowed down the suspect location to greater Baltimore.

Or again LOL it could just be the local pd.

Read an article few yrs back where the cops were doing fingerprinting in the hood in this city under the guise of introducing youths to law enforcement careers. In reality they were fingerprinting kids who would be probable hoodlums in 5-10 yrs....

This is one--of many--things that needs fixing after restoring immigration sanity.

Guys should not be paying gals child support unless they refuse or are truly unfit to take 50% custody themselves. Joint custody and no money changing hands should be the default custodial arrangement. A lot of the incentive for wives to become "unhaaaaaappy" and dump their husbands would evaporate right there.

Furthermore, the assumption of male support should only be arriving with marriage. An unmarried woman should not be getting pregnant, and if she does should not be expecting support from her sperm donor unless she has a signed legal document entitling her to it.

Back when this feminism (2nd wave) was launching there was all this blather that it would be wonderful for men to because women would be equal partners and be responsible for themselves. What we've gotten instead is women doing whatever they heck they like ... but somehow under certain magical conditions--i.e. they get pregnant--then somehow their body wasn't really their responsibly but rather it's a man's fault and he needs to fork over his paycheck for the next 20. The Alt-Right speaks for well over 50 percent of the European Christian ancestral core of the United States. President Trump was able to motivate many Whites in key electoral college states by implicitly appealing to the White vote. White Core Americans are rejecting the "proposition nation" nonsense that the treasonous rats in the GOP ruling class like to screech about.

White Core Americans do not want their people to be killed nor maimed in the Middle East on behalf of ungrateful Israelis. White Core Americans do not want to be demographically swamped by non-Europeans and non-Christians. White Core Americans understand that trade deals such as NAFTA are bad for workers and undermine the sovereignty of the United States.

The Alt-Right explicitly rejects the Globalization and mass immigration pushed by the treasonous rat whores in the GOP ruling class. OT but iSteve significant -

One of the big mass murderers of US history, killing 42 others on 7 December 1987, has had his identity & photo obscured ever since the week of California's worst-ever mass-murder ... David Burke, a black man born of Jamaican-British parents, fired from his airline job for a theft of $69, used his still-valid pass to board Flight 1771 on which his supervisor Raymond Thompson was also a passenger, Burke concealing a .44 handgun. More from Mike King at Tomato Bubble:

After boarding the plane, Burke wrote a message on an air-sickness bag. It is probable that he gave the message to Thomson to read. The note, later discovered near the crash site, read:

"Hi Ray. I think it's sort of ironical that we ended up like this. I asked for some leniency for my family. Remember? Well, I got none and you'll get none."

The captain and the co-pilot were speaking to air traffic control when the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) picked up the sound of the first two shots being fired. The co-pilot immediately reported that a gun had been fired and no further transmissions were received from the crew.

At that point, the CVR recorded the cockpit door opening and a female flight attendant telling the pilots, "We have a problem!" The captain replied, "What kind of problem?" A shot was heard as Burke shot the flight attendant dead, and announced "I'm the problem." He then fired two more rounds.

So he planned to kill his 3 co-pilots with a speargun and hammer and crash the plane so his family could collect a $2.5 million insurance payout. His 3 co-pilots survived the attack and landed the plane. He tried to pled not guilty by reason of insanity without success.

Yes, yes, a "core" of less than 4% of whites, and for better or worse, mostly impoverished and without even a centralized source of funding. On top of it, distracted by constant infighting.

The Alt-Right speaks for well over 50 percent of the European Christian ancestral core of the United States. President Trump was able to motivate many Whites in key electoral college states by implicitly appealing to the White vote. White Core Americans are rejecting the “proposition nation” nonsense that the treasonous rats in the GOP ruling class like to screech about.

Hillary Clinton and Donna Zuckerberg know damn well that their real opponents are regular patriotic Americans and the young people in the Alt-Right. That is why those two Globalizers, Hillary Clinton and Donna Zuckerberg, both have attacked the Alt-Right by name.

Your "White Core" Americans mostly don't care for the nonsense and like "Model Soviet Citizens" will "betray" your cause for cheap blue jeans and pop music. The huge numbers of self-inflicted wounds caused by the "Alt-Right" as of late demonstrate questionable judgment; unlike another troll, I won't call the WN "low IQ" but when it comes to "political IQ", its very dubious at best.

Again, the resemblance to the Children's Crusade is meaningful:

Splitting into two groups, the crowds took different roads through Switzerland. Two out of every three people on the journey died, while many others returned to their homes...About 7,000 arrived in Genoa in late August. They immediately marched to the harbor, expecting the sea to divide before them; when it did not many became bitterly disappointed. A few accused Nicholas of betraying them, while others settled down to wait for God to change his mind, since they believed that it was unthinkable he would not eventually do so.... Nicholas refused to say he was defeated..

Again, good luck. If you do indeed somehow succeed, its truly one for the history books.

  38. Another disgruntled black tried to take down fedex flight. Brutal fight held him off but just barely. Looked like this dude.

    fr Wikipedia
On April 7, 1994, Federal Express Flight 705, a McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 cargo jet carrying electronics equipment across the United States from Memphis, Tennessee to San Jose, California, was nearly hijacked by Auburn Calloway, who the prosecution argued was attempting to commit suicide. Calloway, a Federal Express employee, was facing possible dismissal for lying about his flight hours. He boarded the scheduled flight as a deadhead passenger carrying a guitar case concealing several hammers and a speargun. He intended to switch off the aircraft’s cockpit voice recorder before take-off and, once airborne, kill the crew with hammers so their injuries would appear consistent with an accident rather than a hijacking. However, the CVR was switched back on by the flight engineer, believing that he had neglected to turn it on.

Calloway intended to use the speargun as a last resort. He planned to crash the aircraft hoping that he would appear to be an employee killed in an accident. He sought to let his family collect on a $2.5 million life insurance policy provided by Federal Express.[2] Calloway’s efforts to kill the crew were unsuccessful. Despite severe injuries, the crew fought back, subdued Calloway, and landed the aircraft safely.

The 42-year-old Federal Express flight engineer Auburn Calloway, an alumnus of Stanford University and a former Navy pilot and martial arts expert, faced dismissal over falsifying of flight hours.[3] In order to disguise the hijacking as an accident, so his family would benefit from his $2.5 million life insurance policy, Calloway intended to murder the flight crew using blunt force.

This is one–of many–things that needs fixing after restoring immigration sanity.

Guys should not be paying gals child support unless they refuse or are truly unfit to take 50% custody themselves. Joint custody and no money changing hands should be the default custodial arrangement. A lot of the incentive for wives to become “unhaaaaaappy” and dump their husbands would evaporate right there.

What we’ve gotten instead is women doing whatever they heck they like … but somehow under certain magical conditions–i.e. they get pregnant–then somehow their body wasn’t really their responsibly but rather it’s a man’s fault and he needs to fork over his paycheck for the next 20. I'm imagining the police using the DNA to arrest and convict the criminal. I'm imagining the criminal in a long prison term, off our streets.

Red state and local governments should quietly require DNA samples for eligibility for programs heavily used by blacks. Then move to the federal level: Medicaid, Section 8, etc. Get this DNA data linked in to the DHS fusion centers, the FBI, and obviously local police.

But Firestone's vision of freedom from patriarchy through ectogenesis lives. Tuija Takala (PhD) Department of Social and Moral Philosophy, University of Helsinki, Finland has published “Human Before Sex? Ectogenesis as a Way to Equality” (2009)

“Firestone argued that women are oppressed by the patriarchy through their biology; the physiological, social, economical and psychological disadvantages caused by pregnancy, childbirth and caring for the children. While I do not share all of the Marxist undertones of Firestone’s theory, I am in agreement with her that the reason for the continuing lack of equality between the sexes boils down to the fact that women (and only women) are expected to bear and rear children. At the time The Dialectic of Sex was published, the possibility of ectogenesis was still somewhere far in the future, but this is no longer the case. Contrary to what many feminists have argued, my claim is that women, collectively and individually, should welcome the possibility of nurturing the embryo and fetus outside the womb for the length of the entire gestation period. Having the option of ectogenesis is in the interests of all females and that if and when ectogenesis becomes a safe option it will finally make true equality between humans possible.”

Takala begins her ode to ectogenesis by noting her displeasure with a teenage girl who told a journalist that she “liked being a girl because that allowed her to dress up and that she waited to be a mother because only that will transform her from a girl to a woman.” Concluded Takala: “I found that very alarming. If teenagers of our time living in European capital cities think that they need to become mothers to become women, not much has changed in the last hundred years.”

Takala and her references see fully viable ectogenesis sometime in the next 10 to 50 years.

But yeah, Sea of Love pretty much sucked. I remember TNT tried to push it as a "new classic" at one point, giving it the full three-night-of-the-weekend treatment (Fri 8pm, Sat 8pm, Sun 10pm), but audiences revolted and it hasn't come back since.

I thought it was okay. Pacino usually does a good job - he holds your interest, at least. And Ellen Barkin was nice to look at back then. "Sea of Love" also has the distinction of being, I believe, Samuel L. Jackson's first movie role. I once heard him talk about it - joke about it really - on Fresh Air with Terry Gross. His role, listed in the credits, was "black guy".

As a teen-ager, Sol, studying on his own, had become Orthodox. With a convert’s zeal, he controlled his younger siblings and, later, his children—especially his oldest daughter. As Tirzah Firestone, the youngest of the three girls, recalled, “My father threw his rage at Shulie.”

Laya Firestone Seghi, the second daughter and the family peacemaker, who is now a psychotherapist, remembered an ugly fight when Shulamith was sixteen. Father and daughter grappled on the stairs, with Sol shouting, “I’ll kill you!,” and Shulamith yelling back, “I’ll kill you first!”

Firestone’s younger brother Ezra suspected that the animosity derived from a deep commonality. “He wouldn’t bend, and she wouldn’t bend,” Ezra said. “They were both very brilliant and very, very opinionated.” Kate did not intervene. “My mother had this completely passive view of femininity that was governed by what she regarded as ‘what Jewish women do,’ ” Tirzah said. Shulamith endlessly questioned her parents’ tenets. When she asked Sol why she had to make her brother’s bed, he told her, “Because you’re a girl.”

In the Firestone home, a girl who did not follow the rules was destined to be cast out. Laya violated the Sabbath once, by reading a book in bed with a flashlight, when she was seventeen, and was banished from the house. Tirzah married a devout Christian and was formally disowned. (Later, she embraced Jewish Renewal, a mystical approach to Judaism that champions feminine spirituality, and became a Renewal rabbi, earning further paternal opprobrium.)

Shulamith’s younger brothers, Ezra and Nechemia, remained strictly Orthodox; Ezra later studied to be a rabbi, and Nechemia became a West Bank settler. Only the oldest son, Daniel, violated his father’s wishes: instead of continuing his yeshiva education, he studied classics and philosophy at Washington University in St. Louis. Shulamith skipped a year of high school to join him there. Born less than twelve months apart, she and Daniel had been inseparable as children, “almost like twins,” she wrote in “Airless Spaces.” But she added:

By our sophomore year . . . I was no longer observant, and one Sabbath when our parents were away he beat me for breaking the Jewish law. It was over some trifle I can’t even remember now. But he never spoke to me again.

“Marx was on to something more profound than he knew,” Firestone wrote in “Dialectic,” “when he observed that the family contained within itself in embryo all the antagonisms that later develop on a wide scale within the society and state.”

So he planned to kill his 3 co-pilots with a speargun and hammer and crash the plane so his family could collect a $2.5 million insurance payout. His 3 co-pilots survived the attack and landed the plane. He tried to pled not guilty by reason of insanity without success.

OT: Australian academics say boys better at physics because they engage in playful peeing.

Of course it took 2 boys, one on the floor on the pedals and the other on the steering wheel and the stick, but they managed to put it in drive and get out of the driveway. Luckily the one on the pedals knew the difference between brake and accelerator.

A few years ago some liberal activists were trying to get DNA evidence inadmissible on the grounds of disparate impact racial discrimination. It didn't go anywhere, but sooner or later some federal judge* will outlaw DNA on the grounds of race discrimination.

No idea whether Jones’s real reason is (1) his stated excuse; (2) pressure from advertisers (who all seem to be herb-sellers, and therefore fine with it); (3) pressure from his fan base (Jones has been known to draw a significant percentage of his audience from black-lefty and regular-lefty conspiracy-types, including Richard Beltzer; (4) pressure from Trump, who appeared on Jones’s show during the campaign; or (5) pressure from Google Ads, who pulled Jones’s account not too long ago.

But it is noteworthy that Jones openly he’s reducing his political stuff.

"Firestone argued that gender inequality originated in the patriarchal societal structures imposed upon women through their biology; the physical, social and psychological disadvantages imposed by pregnancy, childbirth, and subsequent child-rearing. She advocated the use of cybernetics to carry out human reproduction in laboratories as well as the proliferation of contraception, abortion, and state support for child-rearing to enable them to escape their biologically determined positions in society. Firestone described pregnancy as "barbaric", and writes that a friend of hers compared labor to "shitting a pumpkin"....

Firestone explored a number of possible social changes that she argued would result in a post-patriarchal society, including the abolition of the nuclear family and the promotion of living in community units within a socialist society."

But Firestone’s vision of freedom from patriarchy through ectogenesis lives.

All successful political movements require not only numbers, but more importantly, elite support and coherence. The American Revolution was a classic example, as was the French Revolution; while equality of power had been increased in the first half of the 20th century, the Russian revolution was only enabled due to poor elite support of the monarchy, and later many Whites would defect to the Reds because they sought power. Before that is a long and almost countless number of "peasant revolts" that was down put with barely a thought. In the present day, the concentration of technological and social forces resembles the pre-19th century.

Even Spencer, for example, is more compromising than many of your average White Nationalists - but such is the attraction of extremism that if pressed, many would follow an impoverished criminal(and yes, I have someone in mind here) rather than a leader who can bring results.

So now, White Nationalists sometimes use the catchphrase of the First Crusade, and envision themselves as the warriors of yore. This isn't to consider that the First Crusade has its advances rapidly reversed, but what the WN don't realize is that they don't resemble the crusaders with their unified goal, significant monetary support, and large body of experience.

What they resemble is the Children's Crusade. They thought themselves pure, they thought themselves loved by God and they thought themselves certain of victory so as long as they went forth and demonstrated their faith and resolve. So they went out, and rapidly extinguished themselves to become beggars, corpses or slaves of various stripes.

Again, the resemblance to the Children’s Crusade is meaningful:

Splitting into two groups, the crowds took different roads through Switzerland. Two out of every three people on the journey died, while many others returned to their homes…About 7,000 arrived in Genoa in late August. They immediately marched to the harbor, expecting the sea to divide before them; when it did not many became bitterly disappointed. A few accused Nicholas of betraying them, while others settled down to wait for God to change his mind, since they believed that it was unthinkable he would not eventually do so…. Nicholas refused to say he was defeated..

Again, good luck. If you do indeed somehow succeed, its truly one for the history books.

Young people in the Alt-Right sense that the American Empire is imploding and they want to focus on that event rather than whether or not some boob can catch a football.

OT: Australian academics say boys better at physics because they engage in playful peeing.

Again, I must ask the same question I have yet to receive an answer for:

So, if there was a law passed that banned all blacks from then NFL and NBA, would you go back to felating the players, who would basically be doing the same thing the blacks are now, running hitting each other and throwing a peice of leather?

Take great care with your answer, Grasshopper, this is quite possibly the most important question you have ever faced.

    Engage the spellcheck, son.

When all the sports shows finally get off the air, the White men who worship black atheletes get on the internet and complain about White women betraying the race.

True dat. I see these soft neckbeards with their squat yellow squaws, and all I can think is “failure”.

First I've heard of him, I don't follow it, just a newby. So far I like Bach a lot, Handel, Charpentier, Blow, Purcell and some music contemporaneous with the court of Rudolph II. Cheers.

Hey, keep on keepin’ on. You could spend the rest of your life on those guys without ever wasting a minute.

Currentzis is a Greek born conductor who made a name for himself in Russia and is now all the rage in Vienna & Salzburg – specializes in period performances of Mozart.

    Cheers yourself!

In time, the positions of the left become less radical because the Overton Window will keep shifting left.

Then it would be necessary to push the window in other directions with compelling alternative visions. The key problem with traditionalism is that it offers nothing new.
