Perhaps a new version of the old BBC sketch show’Clock_News

could be “Knot the Nine O’Clock Noose”

  2. Not quite brave enough to use a photo of a negro?

Or just knew conflating the negro with Father’s Day would add another layer of absurdity to the joke?

    No, it’s funnier than that.

“I’m offended on behalf of some people somewhere who might have been offended by this.”

He’s offended by proxy. Or vicariously offended, or something.

    Which is about right.

“There isn’t an Absent Father’s Day as far as I know.”

But there should be. I saw, just last week, the number of kids growing up in single parent households by country. In the West, the US was once again Number One, USA. USA.

  8. Remember dads, wives buy them for the kids to give.

I buy them; the wife just picks them out and takes care of the transaction.

We’re heading towards convergence with Africa. Only then can we claim equity.

Compare to Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx

Clearly this is more important than the 100 murders in the past 30 days in Chicago alone.

Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx has ended a tradition among prosecutors in her office she believes might be based on racism and lynching.

For decades, to celebrate a prosecutor’s first guilty verdict from a jury, their necktie would be cut off and placed on an office wall along with a manila folder inked with the names of the prosecutor and defendant. Female attorneys would often cut off a piece of their pantyhose, as was the case with Foxx in 2009.

  12. Forbes says:

Who can blame them? Remember, in this era, their ignorance is your fault. None of these “offended” people actually knows what a necktie is, or its purpose or use. It’s an ancient relic they don’t recognize. It looks like a knotted loop–so in their mind, it must be a noose.

It’s not like they’re ever going to wear a tie….

In other news, I can’t believe how fast Chris D’Elia was “cancelled by twitter” regarding the underage girls who claim Chris was all up in their stuff. CAA dropped him immediately. His longtime apparent friend, Whitney Cummings denounced him–she didn’t wait to take a breath–and most of his shows were dropped. Now Chris is publishing parts of the texts the girls didn’t share, making some of the girls look pretty bad, and it seems Chris might not be as bad as twitter charges.

Jeff Ross is also currently being twitter processed as a tinkerer of 15 year old girls. Seems he has a better management team. They’re still holding on through the twit storm.

I shouldn’t be amazed every time this happens, but I am. I guess it’s the rapidity of losing everything you worked for in a tough business. It’s still mind-boggling to me.

Everything you thought you had… is gone! And you haven’t even had time to talk to a fucking attorney!

  14. Well, a ‘necktie party’ was a hanging or lynching, so she may have stumbled into something. Don’t know about the pantyhose, though.

Not in the mainstream news, but African immigrants went full fricking Zulu in Brixton last night:

    OT but perfect iSteve material:

A community college math professor in Oakland,CA kindly but naively suggested that a Vietnamese student anglicize her given name – Phuc Bui – for use in Zoom classes, correctly noting that the name “sounds like an insult in English.” Phuc Bui – no doubt helped by “friends” – sicced the PC commissar on the prof and was rewarded with 15 seconds of fame on CNN. Phuc Bui herself had previously insisted on being called May.

The staff union president-ess promptly threw the prof under the bus and took the opportunity to virtue-snivel about “our diverse, welcoming educational environment.”

  17. The MSM is standing its ground on its point-of-view.

    1. Is this a proper knot for a rope handle?

    2. If it is a proper knot for the application, maybe it is time to be retired along with this lady promoting pancakes and that older man doing the same for parboiled rice?

    3. As to “The King” Richard Petty standing up for Mr. Wallace, can we attribute this to backing a fellow North Carolinian and a man working for him rather than Mr. Petty “virtue signaling”?

  18. @YetAnotherAnon

There isn’t an Absent Father’s Day as far as I know.
