Willie Brown was the speaker of the California Assembly and then when term limited out of that job became mayor of San Francisco. The man is a political prodigy. With the demographics of 2020 he might well have been elected President in, say, 1992. Of course, back then, America could only take Slick Willie, not Sleaze Willie. But the times they are a changing.

But Willie Brown, now 84, has lined up a 1-2-3 punch for America. If his old girlfriend Kamala Harris doesn’t make the White House

in 2020, how about his old pal new California governor Gavin Newsom in 2024? And if Newsom fails, what about, a few elections down the line, his old babysitter, San Francisco mayor London Breed?

Jesse Jackson saw his old babysitter Michelle Robinson Obama become first lady, but why shouldn’t Willie Brown see either his mistress or his babysitter in the Oval Office?

From the Orange County Register:

California is still living in Willie Brown’s world

By JOHN PHILLIPS | Orange County Register
PUBLISHED: September 26, 2018

In 1990, California voters approved Proposition 140 — which imposed term limits on members of the California assembly and senate. It was ostensibly to return to a citizen legislature closer the people, but in reality, voters outside his San Francisco district wanted Assembly Speaker Willie Brown out, and this was the only way to do it.

Twenty eight years later, California still has term limits, but Willie Brown’s political machine has never been more powerful. This is Willie Brown’s world — you just live here.

While it’s true that Brown is no longer in elected office and is currently 84 years of age, his proteges have their hands firmly on the levers of power, both nationally and in California.

Let’s look at four of his top apprentices: the ex-girlfriend, the right hand, the baby sitter and the sommelier.

  1. Is Komodo Harris black enough Steve?

Having Willie’s handprint seared onto her buttocks probably helps with the black vote but what about the dorky (((white))) husband? Is that going to get the blacks in Detroit and St. Louis to the poles?

  2. Arclight says:

I wonder if her affair with Brown is the kind of thing the media is going to ignore throughout the campaign on the assumption the right will bring it up and it can be dismissed as hate-mongering, or the sort of thing that they stay quiet on until a clever primary opponent manages to plant it at the right time with progressive media to question her character/past and how it will be used against her by Trump.

Sort of like how Mitt Romney kept Mitch Daniels out of the GOP primary in 2012 by quietly letting it be known that all the ugly details of how Daniels’ wife ran off with his best friend before coming back years later would be up for discussion, should he decide to get into the race.

‘Willie Brown’. ‘Willie’ – old timer slang,(schlong?), for the membrum virilis.
‘Brown’ – literally, in this case ‘willie’ is ‘Brown by nature’.

Daniels probably wouldn’t have unseated Obama but he would’ve been a helluva lot better president than him or Romney.

I’m assuming the democratic nominee isn’t going to be black, she’ll be a very light skinned mixed race woman with less that 1/8 African ancestry. probably from a non American and non legacy Slave ancestry. If I’m correct, we need to use rhetoric against them. We need to repeat over and over again that black women with legacy slave ancestry are being systematically shut out of power structures because of racism.

That’s a great advert. It plays to Kamala’s strengths: her looks, her demeanour and the fact that the media will let anyone feel cool and hip for supporting her, even while her election would, according to the narrative, dispel the current toxicity over Washington that the media itself, has in Pavlovian fashion, trained into all our immediate responses when we hear the word “Trump”.

Sadly, her loyalty seems to be to the concept of “immigration” rather than the people of the country who actually took her parents in.

  17. Barnard says:

  31. Brown doesn’t make it publicly understood like former NY governor Patterson, but it’s been well-known in Bay Area elite circles since the 1970s that he is completely blind. Not “legally blind” but you know, sightless. The cover story for the public is that it is due to “retinitis pigmentosa” and therefore very slowly degenerative, but that’s as accurate as when Michael Jackson said his ever-whitening skin was because of “vitiligo”.

It would be interesting to find out how much of Brown’s political savvy has come from compensation making his sense of hearing more acute–interpretation of pauses, discerning tiny inflections of doubt or bravado etc.

No. Political people are born, not made. They begin appearing in places like student government (even in elementary school!) and they somehow instinctively ARE political. They have a silent language that was already spoken but not spoken among themselves before you got there.

They are the ones who end up in political positions, often from the very beginnings of their lives. If you have any experience at all with anything remotely political, you have spotted them.

Someone needs to start looking for political DNA. It’s there. (And no, it’s not the same thing as “leadership,” “alpha this or that,” or “perception.” It is political and foreign and invisible to most of us.

Romney did not need to keep Mitch Daniels out of the race. Mitch Daniels kept himself out of the race–cancelled any presidential ambitions he may have had–when he took back his cheating wife. He openly outed himself as a pathetic cuck, before “cuck” even became a mainstream thing.

Your wife bails–no shame, other than marrying poorly. But then, that’s that. You move on. Go get a younger wife and have more kids with her. Her loss, your gain. But you absolutely under no circumstances–none–take a cheating wife back. There are things you just do not do and remain a man.

Kamala Harris is a fairly attractive woman–and presumably intelligent–woman, who could have landed a quality guy as a young woman and had a family. Instead she “leaned in”–by leaning over? and apparently spent her best years under Willie Brown. And now faces old age with no children. Nothing of substance to show for her life. Just tales of climbing the greasy pole.

Heck, i’m a guy, and i’d be bummed and be pretty depressed now facing old age if i didn’t have my kids out there making their way in the world.

London Breed–whom i knew nothing about–is a fairly ugly woman, but from wikipedia, same story. Post wall. Pretty much at the end of her fertility. No family.

Feminism is just a terrible ideology. And not just for society but for women. Some number of guys are really ok with their pursuits, but without a family. But how many women are really happy without children? 5%? 1%?

  52. @AnotherDad

Yup, most childless men I know seem to still be stuck in the college bachelor phase… too much golf, beer, and football. But do they go mentally insane like childless women do? No, they are alright, albeit maybe a little lonely.

Likewise with hookup culture, men can easily handle having sex with a woman and never seeing her again. Women get attached to men, whether they admit it or not. I think part of the crazy single white ladies has to do with constantly forcing back their natural feelings of romance and attachment with every hookup.

Sex for men is ultimately just a way of blowing off aggression, when they’re not in a committed relationship. Every woman that allowed herself to be dicked during a hookup is getting used and manipulated by men.

Either way – the alpha men are rolling high, feminism hurts women and it hurts lower level men.

  53. Brown reminds me of James Michael Curley, but without the fierceness of tribal loyalty:

    https://infogalactic.com/info/James_Michael_Curley

Curley was a sleazeball, but never stopped adhering to his own in-group (Irish-Catholics) over other groups (mostly Boston Brahmin WASPs). Willie, in contrast, being in an area where his group (blacks) aren’t a large political power base (Northern California), has been content on playing the race card when needed to gain power, which is all he wants, but never actually pushed for racial replacement as Curley did.

  54. Anon7 says:
    @AnotherDad

Women happy without children? One percent or so. Jordan Peterson spoke on this subject; he had spent a considerable amount of time as a psychotherapist working with very successful women in various fields. If anyone knows about them, he does.

He says, based on what women said to him in therapy, that by the time a woman reaches the age of thirty all she can think about is having children. And they’d better figure it out, because again, according to Peterson, they’re absolutely miserable when they’re older with no children.

Yes, it’s true, there are a very few women who are fine without children, and he talks about exposure to testosterone in the womb and other influences that would make it possible.

So, if Harris secretly wishes she had had children, you certainly don’t want a miserable harridan for president.

Harris was a legit beauty pageant contestant, IIRC. Being half-Indian helps her in the beauty department—-all men will date Indian/SouthAsian women in higher numbers than black women. Of course, men will date any group of women in higher number than black women.

But Harris also has the rumored reputation that Brown used to frequent orgies with her and pass her around, which could be harmful if it gets out. Similar to how Kim Kardashian was passed around by her first black husband (she was married at like 18 to a black music producer). Or how MLK Jr. used to go to orgies, and bang future members of Congress,

In celebration of MLK Jr. day can we ask: what’s up with all the black orgies? Why do blacks do this depravity so often when in power?

Something I would like to ask the Republicans on this forum.

Obviously I can’t speak for others, but for myself, although I only vote for Republicans, I don’t consider myself a Republican. I am a conservative – a reactionary, even – but not a Republican. The Republican Party is not a conservative party; it hasn’t been for most of it’s history. It almost never represents my interests. It pretends to, but usually doesn’t. But while the Republicans are false friends, the Democrats are simply out-and-out enemies. They don’t even make any pretense about it anymore. If you are white, and especially a white man, the Democratic Party’s clear, unmistakable message to you is: “F**k off and die!” Voting for Republicans is regrettable. Voting for Democrats would be ridiculous.

Just to clarify what might be a misimpression on your part. As I said, I only speak for myself, but I imagine my sentiments are not uncommon among people on this board.

So, considering the very real chance one of these Democrats will be elected, whom do you consider the least bad?

The least bad one would be the one who is the most awful – the candidate who would make it most apparent that the Democratic Party’s ultimate goal is to disenfranchise white Americans and politically ghettoize them. If that person were also a shallow, incompetent light-weight that would also be a big plus. So, Julian Castro, maybe?

Or Joe Biden. That would be worth a few laughs, as old plagiarizin’ Joe gives his first State of the Union speech, calling out to the assembled Congress “We have nothing to fear but fear itself”, and then proceeds to grope every single woman he passes on the way out of the chambers.

By the way, your assessment of the Republican field of 2016 was quite apt. The only thing you left out was how they were all baying for some new military adventure somewhere. The only one of the bunch I didn’t find repellent was Rand Paul, however he’s squishy on immigration and anyway beclowned himself with all that “Detroit Republican” bulls**t.

Sort of like how Mitt Romney kept Mitch Daniels out of the GOP primary in 2012 by quietly letting it be known that all the ugly details of how Daniels’ wife ran off with his best friend before coming back years later would be up for discussion, should he decide to get into the race.

I could tell at the time that there was a reason Daniels stayed out of the race, but I had no idea this was it. Sounds like Mitt’s handiwork, in any event.

  71. @Barnard

If anything the narrative will be to #Metoo Brown for “forcing” her into a relationship with his power and privilege.

That would only work if Kamala were willing to stick the knife into Willie. But that’s unlikely to occur, as there’s simply no way Kamala can obtain the Democratic Presidential nomination on her own steam. She’s still gonna need ol’ Willie to pull a string or two on her behalf, from behind the scenes, and she presumably knows that.

Your wife bails–no shame, other than marrying poorly. But then, that’s that. You move on. Go get a younger wife and have more kids with her. Her loss, your gain. But you absolutely under no circumstances–none–take a cheating wife back. There are things you just do not do and remain a man.

It’s pretty clear that Daniels’ wife’s Wikipedia page, exists solely to underline these minor facts of history. It didn’t appear untl May of 2012, so presumably is the product of some free lance Mitt enthusiast, rather than an actual paid Mitt staffer (in which case, it likely would’ve appeared sometime in 2010, or ’11).

Brown was first elected to the California Assembly way back in 1964 ie., at a time when Blacks made up a much higher portion of the population of San Francisco than they do today. So while a lot of it was, as you suggest, pure political acumen, a lot of it also stemmed from having a substantial ethnic political base, just that this base was Black (and barely exists anymore today), rather than Italian, or Chinese.

On the other hand, Obama was elected twice despite being the son of an Black immigrant father and a White mother. Yet Harris, being half-Asian, is technically even more privileged than Obama, at least according to apparent Ivy League criteria.

    b) ignore San Francisco’s tedious municipal politics, focusing on state issues instead

    c) build up decades of Assembly seniority and knowledge (pre-term limits)

    d) be a “Member’s Speaker,” which meant that Willie’s real constituency was the 79 other Assembly members

    e) know which legislators were crooked, apply pressure to them as needed, but don’t snitch or participate in their shenanigans

    f) strong-arm lobbyists into spending their PAC money the way he wanted the money spent

    g) spread the wealth, including to Republicans who played by his rules, and

    h) swiftly and strongly punish dissent.

You’re wrong. The Democrats continue to lose white voters at a regular rate, mostly because of abandonment by whites and not the increase of minority voters due to immigration, and whites will fall below 50% of Democratic voters for the the first time in the history of the party, in either 2020 or 2022. The acceleration will increase after the minoritization of whites in the Democratic Party. Hostile minorities in the party will want whites out, and white voters will follow. We’re probably a generation away from an anti-Israel or indifferent-to-Israel Democrat presidential candidate being able to make a serious splash. Once the presence of whites in Democratic ranks has dwindled to insignificance, it’s hard to see why anyone else in their anti-white coalition would care much about Zionist priorities – especially since Muslim numbers will have swelled considerably by then.

  154. @Mr. Anon

The least bad one would be the one who is the most awful – the candidate who would make it most apparent that the Democratic Party’s ultimate goal is to disenfranchise white Americans and politically ghettoize them.

I would prefer a more generalized racial polarization, rather than a specifically white vs POC polarization. The reason is that, by the time a critical mass of whites gets a clue, there won’t be enough whites left to make a decisive electoral difference. In an atmosphere of generalized racial polarization, however, “diversity” will quickly lose its appeal as a sociopolitical ideal, and multiracialism itself could eventually be seen as a failed social policy – one to be denounced, discarded, and reversed at every opportunity.

In the past, I was extremely skeptical of the notion that “worse is better.” (I.e, the idea that the worse conditions become for whites, the better it is for the pro-white cause, because it’s only when things are awful that whites will turn to pro-white politics.) Most of the time, worse just seemed plain worse. But if worsening conditions lead to an abandonment of normative diversity by both whites and non-whites, then this opens up previously inaccessible political terrain.

Joe Rogan isn’t a moron, but he is rather gullible. Middling libertarians like him share an exasperating behavioral trait with WNs: because they figure they’ve seen through society’s sustaining illusions in one area (economics for the former, race for the latter), they all of a sudden feel empowered and qualified to detect deception everywhere and in everything. Rogan at least seems open-minded enough that he’d give a pro-white a fair hearing on his show. I think he’d probably want to kick up dust at some of the things a pro-white is bound to say, but I think the libertarian ideals of rationality that he’s at least partly internalized would probably cause him to restrain himself. It probably wouldn’t take too much exposure to race-realism for him to convert.

When Barack Obama ran for President, all you had to do figure out why this Hapa from Hawaii decided he was African-American was to read his navel-gazing autobiography Dreams from my Father.

Unfortunately, Kamala Harris has written no such memoir. Her father, the distinguished high-yeller (though he’s darkened in old age) Jamaican development economist Donald Harris, was absent during her upbringing almost as much as Obama’s Kenyan dad was, during his. Her Indian mother raised her in Montreal, with a lot of help from Kamala’s Tamil Brahmin grandparents.

Her mother went to Berkeley for her Ph.D., her amicably separated dad was a chaired Stanford professor, and yet, the teenage Kamala went to an HBCU and later, a relatively low-ranked law school.

I expect this caused considerable heartburn to her parents and likely, especially to her Indian grandfather, who belonged to the small and super-elite Indian Foreign Service (they take the top 20 students nationally every year after a grueling written exam taken by hundreds of thousands, and a very demanding series of interviews.)

The girl couldn’t have been very bright. It’s quite possible that the choice of Howard University was a rebellious act of some sort after getting low SAT scores. Affirmative action (and her parental credentials) would have ensured her a spot at a nationally higher ranked college somewhere, perhaps even an Ivy, but she broke away to assume an African-American identity.

White people are never going to “wake up and smell the coffee” because they don’t even think of themselves as white people. White people is a category that only exists in the minds of a handful of alt-righters and other similar deluded fringe groups.

That’s not really true. Whites are lacking in racial solidarity, but they certainly don’t lack for racial awareness. It’s pretty much impossible for a white person to be in the presence of non-whites and not be keenly aware of his whiteness. That’s why “anti-racist” whites know to say all the right things. In fact, I think this largely accounts for why they’re so susceptible to claims about (typically phantom) “racism” in the first place: they themselves have undoubtedly had thoughts that would be condemned as “racist” if they ever aired them, and they expect that other whites have too, but since other whites – unlike their good selves – cannot be relied up to keep such thoughts to themselves, “racism” needs to be constantly policed.

It’s probably true that the great bulk of whites will forever remain unmoved by WN-like appeals, but that doesn’t mean they will never follow more circuitous routes to an appreciation of white racial interests. WN-types totally lack interest in pursuing such alternative routes; they simply hit people up with some crime and IQ stats, maybe a bit of jew-crit and holocaust rev, and if whites reject their offerings, they write them off as sheeple or lemmings or, nowadays, cucks. Even if they’re able to grant intellectual assent to the possibility that pro-white politics might require much more than such simplistic appeals, they seem crushed by the realization that other whites aren’t as excited by pro-white racial science and as enthusiastic about being white as they are.

New York City has Yeshiva University’s Cardozo and Fordham Law, both of which afford excellent entree into municipal politics or into Albany. They too are better known locally than nationally.

Hastings used to be relatively highly ranked in Harris’s time, in the top 25 or so nationally, but has never been in the same league as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia and the rest of the big name national schools. Its rankings have slipped since then, but it is likely still an excellent place to study law, and get connections in California politics, the judiciary and law making.

    They’ll simply not believe it.

They’re not gonna have that option. Kamala herself isn’t going to deny it. It was never a secret, and is a simple fact of history at this point. If she were to deny it, even Rachel Maddow would call her a liar. Perhaps you have to have lived in the Bay Area during the 1990s to understand how not-a-secret this was, but trust me on this. She’s not going to deny her extramarital relationship with Willie Brown.

Eventually demographics will allow a left wing fanatic who cannot be bought ala Corbyn to become POTUS and then who vetoes anti-israel proposals at the UN?

The power has shifted back towards SF because the money is here.

But yes. Willie Brown deserves a lot of credit. He ran Sacramento like his own personal fiefdom for years. He was the top enemy of the Republicans (in public, of course.) The way he managed to play them to keep power even as the Democrats were the minority party just as he was being termed out is legendary.

Politicians love to be seen at parties thrown by fools in Hollywood. But they know where the money is.

    Yes, precisely.

You need a broader and more palatable message, one that isn’t focused (at least directly) on race. You need to make various arguments in favour of immigration restrictionism, including economic and environmental ones.

You need to appeal to broader concerns about the way society is going, concerns about the excesses of the LGBT crowd and the feminists, you need to address concerns about one of Steve’s favourite issues, affordable family formation. And fears of economic insecurity. Fears of social breakdown. You need to stress that the elites are screwing everyone, not just whites.

You need to focus on foreign policy insanity. Most people do not really want endless wars in the Middle East and they don’t want another Cold War. They don’t want nuclear over over the Ukraine, or Syria, or the South China Sea.

You need to stress the collapse of western civilisation and the need to reverse it.

That’s how Trump won in 2016. If only he’d actually achieved something, other than tax cuts for the rich. But his political strategy was sound. Interestingly enough it’s a political strategy that would work just as well for a Democrat.

Well a lot of white people don’t vote for conservative parties so I’d say they’re aware that conservatives are not on their side.

The question is when will people of a conservative frame of mind realise that conservatives are not conservatives but simply a more vicious more selfish breed of liberals? When will conservatively inclined people realise that capitalism is not a conservative but a fundamentally liberal ideology?

Does SF dominate Northern California? At the moment we have Newsom, Harris, and Feinstein, but Boxer was from Marin County. Pat and Jerry Brown are from SF, but their power base predates Willie Brown. And Jerry spent some time in Oakland.

I meant “simplistic” with respect to the intended (or hoped for) responses those arguments were supposed to elicit. Of course, not everyone who has made those arguments would have expected them to completely change the person’s priorities, but I have heard many people voice variations on the complaint that “Man, Jared Taylor has been at this for twenty-five years, and what’s changed? Nuffin.” I think such people have misled themselves about how much information alone can do to alter political priorities.

why wouldn’t Tulsi hew by their concerns?

yada yada yada. Because the concerns of heritage Americans [of not being race replaced, the likes of which is happening right now through both illegal and legal immigration] trumps the concerns of “Hindu Americans”. By a yuuugggeee margin. Which is why we sent him there to DC.

I don’t give a damn how much you or your pals make. I want this to be a European derived country. I see a lot of virtue signalling Hindus use the native Americans to guilt trip whitey [as if they give a damn about these AmeriIndians]. If that doesn’t work, blabber about how much you and your kind makes here. That ain’t gonna work with me and most red pilled whites. I am past that you know. I don’t care whether you are conservative or not if your people come continuously to our land, no matter the (supposed) benefit you bring. Demographic displacement is long term and irreversible. And we do not want to become a minority in our own land. I work in tech and know quite well what happens when a team or say a company becomes 70% + Indian. The “real” Indian in then comes out and all the fake niceties get thrown out the window. The contempt borne out of racial resentment becomes pretty apparent. And the general non white consensus across much of the MSM fuels it even more

Would be you fine with, say a modest 100,000 Chinese nationals moving in to India? That’ll considerably raise India’s piss poor median IQ, not to mention invigorate more “competition”. Whadya think?

How about importing Chinese laborers as they are fantastic with infrastructure, which India lags considerably behind China? A mere 100,000 laborers a year shouldn’t put much of a dent. The Chinese and east Asians in general are pretty law abiding and fantastic capitalists (ironic but yes) not to mention their superior cognitive ability is well established.

I’m not so sure how your very own red pilled Indians would take to Dog beef and pork eating Chinese. I wonder if they’d be lynched in broad daylight and their women gang raped in a blaze of righteous anger after a few years into this policy?

You’re mistaken. It’s the liberal-arts Hindu-Ams who do the guilt tripping. That’s a a coastal elite- they aren’t Hindu-Ams they are the “South Asian” types that Hindu-Ams just don’t care for. Hindu-Ams work with Native Americans because Hindu-Ams as heathens and pagans really understand AmerIndians.

The closest to this globally disengaged disinterested wish inspired stance is the ~40 years following war of 1812 thru Mex-Am War. After that point the US has been so engaged in the affairs of the rest of the world, that it is impossible to argue that its sustained prosperity is not founded upon its global supremacy.
And US innovation is founded on its ability to nurture collectives of talent pools – the Brahmanical founts of talent wherever they may be from. It is said that England learned its chemistry in the early 1800s from Germany & Sweden.
The US produced its 1st theoretical genius only in the late 1800s- Josiah Willard Gibbs – students of thermodynamics would know who he is. The transfer of intellectual capital in 30s around the time of Einstein, and then post-war by engineers from Germany completely transformed the US research==>innovation engine. No country has drawn & nurtured talent to produce intellectual capital as America has. That’s why as early as 1956 when Intel founder Andy Grove fled to Austria, he chose migrate to the US, not Canada.
Despite petty anti-intellectualism (e.g., consider the emergence of a CERN in Europe and not a like entity in America) that has gutted STEM funding for years now wrecking the vision of Vannevar Bush, America still holds the best cards in the innovation game.

Really? This must be news to everyone in the Valley or up in Seattle! They can’t get enough of them.

As most of them are shitl*** and many of them share a mother tongue anyways. No wonder they want to increase legal immigration and disenfranchise us in our very land

I thought you pajeets were supposedly all high IQ. Or perhaps this is your standard (dishonest) way to shift the goalpost? Having 50,000 Chinese students in India [and about the same number of Indians in China] is the same as 85000 H1Bs with a potential pathway to citizenship.[and a million legal immigrants] coming to the US each year, Isn’t it?

Lets do the math (or as you guys say, ‘maths’). 85000 pagans/year on a 65 million strong white conservative population [excluding the PoC crown and the white shitl***] is like legally dumping supposedly high IQ 4,57,700 non-Hindus [like the Chinese or the Turks or the Mongolians] on 350 million strong Hindu nationalists in India. Would the Hindu nationalists there take it lying down? How would they react say after 5 years into this policy? Would YOU be OK with this policy in your home countries?

And the worst part of dealing with your fellows is that, you love to use your much vaunted verbal agility (the art of bull shit****) to wriggle your way around the question of race and the affects of immigration on it [including legal immigration]. But you are pretty straightforward about it in India. This is the kind of dishonest dialogue that your fellows apparently excel in that makes debating with Indians a frustrating experience. I’ve had more Chinese people agree with me about america being primarily from and for whites. But not so with the Indians who display a certain sense of entitlement to this land
