Jussie Smollett’s defense will be, “Hey, it wasn’t me, it was this guy right behind me who looks exactly like me.”

Actually, Jussie did just that when he got arrested for drunk driving in 2007: he gave his younger brother’s name to the cops and got convicted of giving false information.

"Darkness" set in long ago so...no surprises here. And I'm sure Brit isn't surprised either. As a footnote, I would like to think that the cliche' "speaking the truth to power" will never be used in a newspaper owned by Jeff Bezos.

  4. There is something disingenuous about conservatives beating up on the HH of Smollett. Conservatives have been pushing the HH of Zionists forever. Zionists did Nakba against Palestinians. Zionists stole more land in 67. Zionists continued to take more territory. Zionists impose apartheid on West Bank. But conservatives went along with the whole charade. In 1992, Bush the Conservative was more moderate about the Palestinian issue than so-called Liberal Jews in the Democratic Party, and since then, the GOP has been totally onboard with any bunch of lies pushed by the Lobby. This was esp bad since the lesson Jews learned from it is “We can do anything and get away with anything.”

Zionists have been pushing a huge HH about Middle East forever. And let’s forget lies about Iraq, Libya, and Syria to spread the destruction. And nonsensical BS about Iran’s ties to Alqaeda coming from Trump administration. US and its allies created Alqaeda to use against the Soviets and Iran. There was blowback in 9/11, but the US used it not to mainly go after Alqaeda but to destroy Iraq, thereby turning it into a haven for terrorism. And under Obama, the US was pretty much allied with Alqaeda against Iran, Shia government in Iran, and Assad.

When the powers-that-be are allowed to get away with vileness on such scale, why should it be surprising that the Mass Media are masters of deception?

Tucker Carlson’s piece on Smollett was good, but even he deluded himself when he said Americans are just kind and wonderful people. Okay, most Americans are not monsters, but they’ve let themselves be ruled and informed by psychopathic monsters in state and media. Carlson talks about how the kindly US took in Ilhan Omar but ignores US’s role in destabilizing nations all cross Middle East and Africa. In the final days of Bush administration, he got the US involved in Somalia. Terrible move. Maybe it was move for New World Order. Or maybe it was to burden Bill Clinton with foreign policy fiasco. Either way, just terrible, leading to more mayhem.

Bomb or bother them there and mom or mother them here is not a good policy.

So, yes, Jussie's mom's maiden surname is the same, "Harris," as Kamala's dad's surname. But ... "Harris" is a common name. Is there a Sailerism for selective, dubious, politicized prosecution of some nobody, amplified way beyond all proportion by auxiliaries in the CNN-MSNBC-NYT-WaPo media axis, done for Narrative-pushing? It seems President Kushner's America has more of these than even President Obama's did.

This odd little case has been pushed hard in the media the past 24 hours. Yet the more you listen to it, the less there is to it, like grabbing a handful of sand and watching it slip through your fingers. It's empty at core; all scare words and libels. (One media report I briefly heard called him a "self-proclaimed White supremacist" -- I can almost guarantee this is false given that no one self-labels as such, except ironically; literally no one.)

He owns some guns and "stockpiled" "1,000 rounds of ammunition": Not a crime. He read racialist material: First Amendment? (Condemning someone for what he has read -- What is this, North Korea?). He had some Excel spreadsheet with names of top left-wing media figures, no other context given but sold by the CNN-etc. media axis as a "hit list." (Is keeping a list of political opponents a crime? If so, the SPLC directors all need jail terms.) He expressed interest in the concept of "White homeland." Not a crime.

It was even quietly admitted in some corners of the media that he had no plan to "do anything." So what is this?

Yes...it sounds to me that the story is all Narrative; this guy is the victim of a life-destroying mega-slander from high within his own federal government, a mega-slander loyally echoed and dittoed on down the line by the apparatchiks of the "system media," on down to citizen-auxiliary level of FB shares and the like. He was just some sap with right-wing beliefs, some kind of firearms interest, and eclectic reading habits. None of those things are crimes.

-Smollett told the brothers that he wrote the letter, the attack was done out of frustration when the letter didn’t get the reaction he hoped it would
-He wrote the brothers a check for $3500
-He told them to leave their cell phones at home but between the Ubers and taxis they took and the CCTV in the area the cops were able to track their every move that night
-The attack happened as late as it did because Smollett’s flight got delayed
-Smollett actually picked the location he did because he thought it would be captured on a nearby camera, however it turned out it wasn’t (story of his life)

That case is probably gonna fall apart real quick. All they have him on at the moment is possession of a pain med and "buying/possession of a firearm while illegally using a pain med". His lists and "plans" can all be explained away if he keeps his mouth shut.

Is there a Sailerism for selective, dubious, politicized prosecution of some nobody, amplified way beyond all proportion by auxiliaries in the CNN-MSNBC-NYT-WaPo media axis, done for Narrative-pushing? It seems President Kushner’s America has more of these than even President Obama’s did.

This odd little case has been pushed hard in the media the past 24 hours. Yet the more you listen to it, the less there is to it, like grabbing a handful of sand and watching it slip through your fingers. It’s empty at core; all scare words and libels. (One media report I briefly heard called him a “self-proclaimed White supremacist” — I can almost guarantee this is false given that no one self-labels as such, except ironically; literally no one.)

He owns some guns and “stockpiled” “1,000 rounds of ammunition”: Not a crime. He read racialist material: First Amendment? (Condemning someone for what he has read — What is this, North Korea?). He had some Excel spreadsheet with names of top left-wing media figures, no other context given but sold by the CNN-etc. media axis as a “hit list.” (Is keeping a list of political opponents a crime? If so, the SPLC directors all need jail terms.) He expressed interest in the concept of “White homeland.” Not a crime.

It was even quietly admitted in some corners of the media that he had no plan to “do anything.” So what is this?

Stating – or mere agreeingment or silence should another say (the latter deemed tacit assent) – that "It's okay to be white" (or any similarly perfectly true and innocuous thing is deemed by The Man tantamount to stating "I am a white supremicist."

This phenomenon is what one sees in the present case, ans some such statement of the man's – that he is fed up with the invasion of the place, the persecution of white people, or whatever else – is almost certainly the basis for the report that he is a "self-proclaimed white supremicist."

Always pay attention to hearsay and secondary (versus primary) authority in these matters. You'll find more often not the journalist's [sic] summary is biased and inaccurate, or some other is ("police say the man...").

If the suspect's actual words or actions are investigated by the sceptical observer, it will almost always be found that, at the very least, the journalist, police, or others mischaracterised what happened. Think of the poor bastard in Charlottesville or the nonsense repeats to this day that Trump said "Mexicans are rapists."

"Many people come here from Mexico and commit crimes. They're murderers, they're rapists...some, I assume, are good people."

That is a paraphrase from memory, but it captures accurately what he communicated. That statement is not by any means equivalent to "Mexicans are rapists." Why, a clever person with nothing better to do could almost certainly selectively elide the gospels to suggest Moses made the decision to have John the Baptist crucified, after which Judas arose from the grave, simoly by removing mountains of crucial text separating those persons' names. This phenomenon is increasingly what is done in media, and one must be very chary of it.

It was done again very recently with some politician – the Iowan guy? – who obviously interrupted his own sentence (as we almost all do sometimes when speaking, as our thoughts form while speaking). He said something like what could accuratlet bw transcibed as:

"People are attacking basic ideas: That America is a good country. We ahould be proud of our ancestors and heritage.
And.... 'White supremacy!' What's wrong with that?"

Again I paraphrase. But he very obviously made an interjection, as it were, in the character of the opponents of traditonal values, and his rhetorical question "What's wrong with that?" referred to the tradition: the pronouns that had as its antecedent the traditions, not "white supremacy."

He was assuming a rôle for a moment to make his point, as Willow did when lamenting how much the others in his village blame him for everything bad in the eponymous film ("He's that lousy farmer, Willow Ugood! Let's get him!") It's a very common rhetorical device. We almost all use it at least a few times every year, but jackasses like Joy Behar, Kamala Harris, and Don Lemmon look at anyone who points it out like the speaker has five heads and is arguing that gorillas breathe water.

Perhaps there must now be a rule wherein speakers must always switch among exagerrated, cartoonish voices, or step from side to side and face in opposite directions, like Robin Williams and other comedians doing bits as different characters, lest they be accused of supporting any views they mention for rhetorical purposes but do not themselves espouse. Or pedantic disclaimers can be inserted which destroy any rhetorical impact of the presentation, much as requiring oral or written confirmation in petting destroys romance ("Thank you for permittig me
to place my hand upon your knee. May I know place it upon your thigh?")

An African-American from New Orleans, Ms. Smollett met their father, Joel Smollett Sr., a Russian-Polish Jew, in the Bay Area, where they campaigned for civil rights. “My mom was in the movement with Bobby Seale and Huey Newton, and one of her first mentors was Julian Bond,” Mr. Smollett said of the Black Panther founders and the civil rights leader. “To this day, Angela Davis is one of her dearest friends. We’ve spent Mother’s Day with Angela.”"

So, yes, Jussie's mom's maiden surname is the same, "Harris," as Kamala's dad's surname. But ... "Harris" is a common name. And her mom is described as an African-American from New Orleans, while Professor Donald Harris has deep roots in Jamaica. On the other hand, New Orleans is a port city. But I'd say only maybe a 10% chance that Jussie and Kamala are closely related.

The atmosphere in the US towards White men is like reading accounts of attitudes towards Jews in the Weimar Republic.

There is no downside really to letting Jussie skate for the Power Centers in this nation. None at all — the humiliation of White dudes is their aim as a pure demonstration of power. That a global nation means a racial caste system with White men at the very bottom and Blacks at the very top.

This was esp bad since the lesson Jews learned from it is "We can do anything and get away with anything."

Zionists have been pushing a huge HH about Middle East forever. And let's forget lies about Iraq, Libya, and Syria to spread the destruction. And nonsensical BS about Iran's ties to Alqaeda coming from Trump administration.

Tucker Carlson's piece on Smollett was good, but even he deluded himself when he said Americans are just kind and wonderful people. Okay, most Americans are not monsters, but they've let themselves be ruled and informed by psychopathic monsters in state and media. Carlson talks about how the kindly US took in Ilhan Omar but ignores US's role in destabilizing nations all cross Middle East and Africa.

Shows what a luser Jussie is. He had maybe a 95% chance of having the attack caught on camera. He TRIED to have the attack filmed - that was the whole point of the elaborate theater piece. He stood near what he thought was within the field of a camera. After he called the cops, he asked them to pull up what he was sure would be the video of the attack. But being a karmic luser, the camera was pointed in the other direction. At first, he must have thought, curses, foiled again (no one cared about his fake anthrax letter either). What do I have to do to get any attention around here? But then the story took off, even without film.

Hard to say what would have happened differently if the attack had been filmed. OTOH, it's possible that the story initially would have blown up bigger, even led to full blown riots the way the Rodney King film did. OTOH, maybe the setup was so comically bad that people would have caught on even sooner that it was a hoax.

    https://i.ytimg.com/vi/4h_amGEmIPg/hqdefault.jpg

Kravitz was born in Manhattan [in 1964,] the only child of actress Roxie Roker and NBC television news producer Sy Kravitz. His father was of Ukrainian Jewish descent [...] His mother was of Bahamian descent

Who knew -- Lenny Kravitz's mother is Al Roker's cousin. Which means Al Roker is also of Caribbean ancestry; no reparations for either Lenny Kravitz or Al Roker. Sorry, boys.

“…the only child of actress Roxie Roker and NBC television news producer Sy Kravitz. His father was of Ukrainian Jewish descent […] His mother was of Bahamian descent.”

    Bahama Mama and Jew Daddy.

That's also in the bond proffer document (pdf) - my best bet is that someone's not that well informed in the department which produced the document. "MDMA, or ecstasy" would have been more accurate.

Reading the document their OpSec is on the poor side of atrocious. Uber leaves a trail. The shop had security cameras (for protection from marauding MAGA-bros no doubt). Cell-phones leave a trail. Apart from Chicago's security camera network, which is now linking in privately-owned cameras, there's the POD system which tracked the Nigerians pretty well.

Quite impressive that the attack WASN'T caught on camera, given everything that was.

Shows what a luser Jussie is. He had maybe a 95% chance of having the attack caught on camera. He TRIED to have the attack filmed – that was the whole point of the elaborate theater piece.

OTOH, it’s possible that the story initially would have blown up bigger, even led to full blown riots the way the Rodney King film did. OTOH, maybe the setup was so comically bad that people would have caught on even sooner that it was a hoax.

I do not believe the current claims he was only trying to increase his income.

It is clear that his motives were political, and even if he was not coordinating with certain politicians, they would have been very happy to use his Hate Crime Hoax in their campaigns!

Jussie will skate. He no doubt coordinate this at least with Harris. And she's too important and well connected to lay out. I'm sure she has enemies, mostly among the Obama holdovers and mostly Michelle Obama who still has pretensions of running. But Kamala Harris is too powerful, and well connected and if Smollett offers up to Prosecutors "Hey I ran it by my old family friend Kamala Harris and she said do it that it was legal" well ... that's an excellent way to avoid serious jail time.

And there are so many people who could make a buck or two leaking ... you better believe the Enquirer and Daily Mail and TMZ are on this case and want a scoop. Its not like the Mueller or Steele Dossier stuff where there are no tabloid money interests waving hundreds around to poorly paid transcribers and clerks. This is the big time. So it can't be hushed up. There's always someone who needs money.

So Jussie will skate. Fox stands by him and he returned to the set in triumph.

Lets get real -- the media, legal profession, and big shots figure this is the way they stick White Men's noses in it -- Jussie gets to skate after trying his best to gin up a race war with ordinary White dudes getting the Reginald Denny treatment over something that never even happened, because it was faked. The atmosphere in the US towards White men is like reading accounts of attitudes towards Jews in the Weimar Republic.

There is no downside really to letting Jussie skate for the Power Centers in this nation. None at all -- the humiliation of White dudes is their aim as a pure demonstration of power. That a global nation means a racial caste system with White men at the very bottom and Blacks at the very top.

Hey I ran it by my old family friend Kamala Harris and she said do it that it was legal”

Jussie should be glad that you are not his advisor. That would be the surest way for Jussie to become the most friendless person in all of America – the right already hates him and this would peel away the left also. Kamala would deny it and everyone would believe her and denounce Jussie as being an even bigger liar than he is already.

Smellitt Badly reads scripts, written by others, for a living. He's not exactly a creative or original thinker. So, who came up with the scam, who put him up to this, and most importantly why? What was the real goal? Wanting a raise or a better part in a tv show does not ring true. Out with the truth or is it too despicable to put out for the public.

Good point. His social media posts are endless anti Trump diatribesAnd very arrogant “ I call him out I slam him and slam him again” he’s a working actor and singer as it’s called. Making a decent living but nothing special one of 6 or 7 in an ensemble TV show $20 tickets to his concerts which are held in bars not auditoriums.

He’s young for a man actor. He could just negotiate for money next time his contracts time for renewal. Actors know it’s an up and down business. Many of the men don’t make it till they’re 40.

Maybe he realized that his anti Trump social media posts only reached people like himself and wanted to reach a larger audience. And who’s paying for Mark Garagos?

    Enjoy the show folks
  63. I just love the news today…

Coneheaded NAPA, Rapper and defective mutt, R. Kelly charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse. Another student of the Bill Cosby School of Social Studies. Im sure black school choirs and black churchs will still be singing his song.. Black History Month sure has been a wealth of great African American stories that will never grace the halls of the Black History Museum or whatver that building of lies is called. I wonder if CNN has anything to say abou thier favourite pet super predator?? Im sure there will be “crickets” from the liberal media whores.

The more I think about it, the more it think it's to our advantage to have Jussie skate on this. That would do the most to fix the concept of hate hoax in the public mind. Just as the New York Times' decision to stick with its decision to put Sarah Jeong on the editorial board despite her tweets made it clear how shamelessly anti-white it is.

    Agreed.

I guess they don't teach the Connecticut Compromise in Korea.

Koreans are likely predisposed, culturally, to centralization and have no cultural tradition of sovereign states united under a federal government. Everything centralized in the main power center.

Wyoming? What the heck? Surely they all have to serve us in New York City?”

Tucker Carlson's piece on Smollett was good, but even he deluded himself when he said Americans are just kind and wonderful people. Okay, most Americans are not monsters, but they've let themselves be ruled and informed by psychopathic monsters in state and media. Carlson talks about how the kindly US took in Ilhan Omar but ignores US's role in destabilizing nations all cross Middle East and Africa.

I’m not a conservative, I’m a White Nationalist. Conservatives ignore affirmative action, race replacement and black in White crime.

But they endlessly fuss about tattoos, black and brown abortions IQs and other things that don’t harm Whites while ignoring affirmative action race replacement and black on White crime that’s destroying us .
