Iraq’s defence minister reported for benefits fraud in Sweden: reports

Iraq’s defence minister, Najah al-Shammari, has been reported for benefits fraud in Sweden after claiming child and housing support for years, despite living in Baghdad.
Al-Shammari, who is registered in Sweden with the surname Najah Al-Adeli, emigrated to Sweden in 2009, became a Swedish citizen in 2015, and is still officially registered as living in the Stockholm suburb of Vårby.
According to Sweden’s Expressen newspaper, al-Shammari and his wife were reported two weeks ago for benefits fraud after continuing to claim payments years after returning to Iraq.
According to the Aftonbladet newspaper, the 52-year-old has also previously received sick pay, claiming that memory problems left him unable to work.
A judgement in the Civil Courts obtained by Expressen stated that al-Shammari and his family had, “for a long time been partly dependent on welfare support”.
Al-Shammari is a former major general in the Iraqi Army, receiving a degree in military science in 1987.
Toni Eriksson, press secretary for Sweden’s defence minister Peter Hultqvist, confirmed to Swedish state broadcaster SVT on Friday that Al-Shammari is a Swedish citizen — something that was denied by the Iraqi political coalition that pushed for his appointment.
It is permitted for Iraqis to have dual citizenship, but under the country’s constitution, those holding top ministerial positions are required to renounce citizenships of foreign countries.
Neighbours who SVT visited also confirmed that al-Shammari and al-Adeli were the same person. …
Al-Shammari and his family arrange for post to be sent to the address and also return to Sweden for a week every year to give the impression of living in the country.
According to the Nyheter Idag, the couple have also claimed that their children attend a Stockholm private school.
Al-Shammari was also charged in 2016 for a serious crime, and held in pre-trial detention, but the case was dropped just a few days before the trial began.
In other Al-Shammari news, which apparently is blowing up in Sweden, he is a wife beater and a pederast. The daughter of the Iraqi Defense Minister / Swedish welfare queen says:

Just a few days ago, there was a story about a poor refugee child who actually got picked up by the police for kicking another poor refugee child in the head at a local train station. This paragon of very important international law turned out to have been upgraded from 17 years old to 24; having been scheduled to be deported but somehow evaded this (which appears to be about as difficult as buying a bag of chips); and also turned out to have eight different registered identities just in Sweden. So I guess he got the 8x benefits jackpot, perhaps also 8 votes should he feel so inclined, etc. Maybe his friends did too. Sweden yes!

This does suggest a formula for how Sweden can get rid of its foreign parasites. It should cut off welfare benefits of foreigners who stay, but allow the benefits to continue for anyone who renounces residency and moves back to the Third World for good.

Keep an eye on Alternative for Sweden (political party, launched March 2018); they are very well organized, morally serious, disciplined, and effective. And of course also subject to extreme hostility from the regime including electoral tricks.

I’d like to see dual citizenship come up as a prominent political issue. This really is the definition of nationalism/citizenism versus multiculturalism/cosmopolitanism/open borders.
Should dual citizens be allowed to work in the government? Consult to the government? Work for companies that do?
Should media report in bylines when dual citizens write op/eds? Anne Applebaum is a naturalized Polish citizen, for instance.
Should dual citizens be allowed to vote, in Mexico or Canada, for instance? Or should they be allowed to vote in the U.S.?
Should dual citizenship be outlawed? The State Department previously took the view that it was illegal, but a court decision intervened (as usual).
Maybe the U.S. should, as a model for other countries, create a species of immigrant visa that allows greater rights than a normal green card, but is not citizenship. Then you could have Israel creating something similar allowing patriation to Israel in case of some massive Nazi eruption, but which is not citizenship. If you want citizenship, renounce your home countries citizenship. If you are from China or Iran or some place that will not cut you loose, make that a country-to-country diplomacy issue. Bring it up at the U.N. One person, one citizenship.
I don’t think that dual citizenship is going away, easily, but I’d like to see it in the Overton window and discussed and surfaced in the media, and dual citizens identified publicly. Maybe a census checkbox or an IRS checkbox?

Perhaps you do not realize that the US is far worse off than Sweden in terms of demographics, wokeness and just about everything?
Sweden: Circa 75-80 % white European population, overwhelmingly of Nordic stock.
US: Circa 60 % “non-Hispanic white” population, including Armenians, Iraqis and the world’s largest agglomeration of the people prone to dual citizenship.

Sweden is not a formal member of NATO, of course -- largely due to a combination of historical and domestic political reasons, as well as its proximity to Russia.
Sweden was officially neutral during the Cold War (as it has been since the Napoleonic Wars), and continues to be ostensibly non-aligned since its end, but in practical terms, it has moved steadily closer to NATO over the past 20 years, and is viewed by both NATO itself and the Atlantic Council as one of the two most important "NATO partners" (along with Finland).
Even during the Cold War Sweden's real position was far less "neutral" than its public stance*.
In terms of active military cooperation, it's worth noting that Sweden was an active participant in NATO-led missions in Bosnia (IFOR and SFOR), Kosovo (KFOR), Afghanistan (ISAF), and Libya (Operation Unified Protector). And they loaned their stealth submarine to the US Navy for 2 years after it was highly-successful in NATO war games. And of course, host nation support agreement (for NATO troops to operate in Sweden) has been in place since 2016.
And there are aspects of Sweden's security relationship with The Empire that are still hidden, especially with respect to close intelligence cooperation. One of the Snowden leaks was an NSA memo dated June 6th, 2006:
"The relationship with Sweden is protected at the TOP SECRET level because of that nation’s political neutrality."Again, that's an excessively concrete/ literal approach.
Sure, Australia is nowhere near the North Atlantic. But it's part of The Empire just the same.
