Dear Rep. Omar:

Thanks for proving that Diversity helps us think outside the box, as you lead boring, white bread Minnesota into the vibrantly violently multicultural future. I look forward to Minneapolis being policed like your native Somalia, with each neighborhood clan paying for its own fleet of Technicals:

You should finally feel right at home.

  1. It’s natural that the same people who believe nations shouldn’t have borders would also think cities shouldn’t have police departments.

After the November election, we’ll all get to enjoy this and more insanity. At least we can’t say we weren’t warned.

Nice pic. What is that, a Toyota Hi-lux with a KPV mounted on the bed? Gotta hand it to the Somalis for having much better taste than your typical urban thug. Give the Somalis a fleet of those and let them police Minneapolis. I’m half serious. After the shameful display by local politicians I’m starting to think that’s what they deserve. Just keep them on the blue side of the county line.

  10. J.Ross says:

Followers of international news might recall that, before the empty pandemic, the big story out of Chile for months was a well organized and supported leftist attempt at revolution. The center-right government of Chile struggled but often conceded ground and the international press did everything it could for the “peaceful protesters.” A professor blithely told a BBC interviewer that she believed that the president could fix the situation; all was not lost, provided, of course, he grant all the demands, to include altering the constitution.
This thing happening here is another iteration of what they did and all but succeeded with in Chile. This is their end run, not just around Trump, but around the entire system, and any possible vestiges of patriotism or democracy in the battered population.
The ostensible grievance of the Chilean protests was a hike in public transportation fare. Some might recall that antifa showed up in NYC in a big overreaction to a similar change.

The head of the LA police union just held a press conference stating he believed Mayor Garcetti is mentally ill. One thing we depend on is if these idiot Mayors and City Council members keep calling for dramatic cuts in the police budget don’t stop now, we’re going to wind up with another “Silent Strike” by the police, and black people will proceed to trash Los Angeles and beyond, the same way they did before and after the Rodney King incident. As before, Police will collectively not respond, which will again lead to the massive riots!

Currently, the cops who did the deed are in jail, charged with second degree murder, yet these maniacs, many who’ve never been around black people for any considerable amount of time in their lives, are STILL “protesting” and looting!!!

A primary lesson of WWII, and especially the holocaust, is the first thing a country indulges in before it goes completely sideways is to normalize mobbing up! Little pogroms evolve into larger, bolder pogroms. And Jews are participating in these mobs in significant numbers! Jews! The last people I thought I’d see on the streets participating in this trailer trash hootenanny!

I suggest that we instead introduce conscription of US citizens into the police force. Two years, starting at age 18. There’s no surer way to redpill a person on the topic of race and crime. The current crisis might even be the best opportunity to suggest such a reform.

This must be practiced somewhere in the world, but light googling turns up nothing.

With all this talk, what exactly is stopping the police from carrying out a coup d’etat against the mayor and council?

  19. Here is what Stephen Pinker wrote on this topic in The Blank Slate:

When law enforcement vanishes, all manner of violence breaks out: looting, settling old scores, ethnic cleansing, and petty warfare among gangs, warlords and mafias. This was obvious in the remnants of Yugoslavia, the Soviet Union, and parts of Africa in the 1990s, but can also happen in countries with a long tradition of civility. As a young teenager in proudly peaceable Canada during the romantic 1960s, I was a true believer in Bakunin’s anarchism. I laughed off my parents’ argument that if the government ever laid down its arms all hell would break loose. Our competing predictions were put to the test at 8:00 A.M. on October 17, 1969, when the Montreal police went on strike. By 11:20 A.M. the first bank was robbed. By noon most downtown stores had closed because of looting. Within a few more hours, taxi drivers burned down the garage of a limousine service that had competed with them for airport customers, a rooftop sniper killed a provincial police officer, rioters broke into several hotels and restaurants, and a doctor slew a burglar in his suburban home. By the end of the day, six banks had been robbed, a hundred shops had been looted, twelve fires had been set, forty carloads of storefront glass had been broken, and three million dollars in property damage had been inflicted, before city authorities had to call in the army and, of course, the Mounties to restore order. This decisive empirical test left my politics in tatters (and offered a foretaste of life as a scientist).

When it comes to ultra-progressive cities such as Minneapolis, Portland, and Seattle, I’m all for having them eliminate the police department. Let them experience first-hand the consequences of their beliefs.

Damn it, I’m serious about outsourcing big city law enforcement to Mexican Drug Cartels. Just award each cartel the exclusive drug contract for the city/territory (not unlike the Gas Company), and they’d throw in enforcement for free. Policing for $200 per Officer Day, and when crime is slow, they’ll mow your lawn or do a little drywalling. Efficient drug distribution, peaceful neighborhoods, strengthening of economic ties between US and Mexico. Of course, some people would find out their lives don’t matter to everybody.

For all of those who seem to love criminals, people now on the public payroll, I think a month long stint in a nearby prison as a guard (CO) trainee would do wonders.

No doubt police abuse citizens for many reasons. But often they are just mirroring the behavior of criminals whom they encounter on a constant basis. COs all have many stories of being attacked, etc. and some up close experience with convicts would be very enlightening for the naive.

In my prior occupation I had some limited exposure to nonviolent psychopathic liars and thieves. Most seemed fairly normal until you confronted them with hard evidence of their own criminal acts. Every one of them denied the obvious. They were not nice people.

That is only a tiny taste of criminal mindsets.

If the Rep. Omars of the world actually personally encountered real criminals, with themselves or their loved ones as victims, they will learn a valuable lesson. This doesn’t justify police crime, but when you are dealing with unstable, dangerous men (nearly all are men) you can’t live in a childish fantasy world for long. Ignorant liberals are just fresh meat for the people cops deal with every day. You don’t want to deal with them personally, either. Cops need discipline, most have it.

Isn’t it biologically sound to eradicate invading species in order to prevent crossbreeding, just saying.

Gotta hand it to the Somalis for having much better taste than your typical urban thug.

Somalis are pack hunters like African wild dogs. Working as a team (brothers, cousins, uncles, clan members etc) they can bring down large prey.p

  92. @Dr. X

“Invade the world, invite the world,” eh?

Invite people from failed African states to the U.S., and get a U.S. that looks like a failed African state. Maybe, just maybe, sending troops to (attempt to) feed the Somalians in 1992 wasn’t such a good idea?

They don’t belong – poor hygiene, inbreeding, one in three has mental problems, TB vectors, female genital mutilation (FGM), gangs and welfare aphids.

Toyotas are highly prized as “light armor”. Heck, Toyota is the only car maker I know of that has their own war:

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_War

Now those were the older, bone simple Hi-lux and Land Cruisers. As trucks have gotten less “truck like” and more “car like” (Automatic transmissions, power steering, A/C, power windows, etc.) one wonders if a Toyota Tacoma of 2020 could hack it as a “Technical”? Is there enough steel in the bed to support a 50 Cal on a pedestal mount with a gunner and loader in the back?

What about Culiacan? At the time it received short shrift as a typical Mexico performance. Might have been more than that

Maybe that boot will be purchased on Amazon.

This might be the last of the big riots in which small business-owned storefronts are kicked in, because we’ll be getting all of our stuff from Amazon, delivered to our office homes (no, I don’t mean home offices).

No more small business storefronts. An entire country that looks like north Philadelphia in the 1970’s. I once took a wrong turn off the Schuylkill Expressway and wound up in what I thought was a movie set.

Renovations in-progress didn’t stop the Diversity Street Reparations committees busting into the downtown Macy’s store under the direct watch of CPD: Chicago Mayor Lightfoot’s PD Chief David Brown is the most USELESS person EVER when it comes to protecting the City.

  99. @Alan Mercer

    Minneapolis isn’t quite yet Afghanistan.

St Paul boasts America’s first Kurdish restaurant. Before that, they enjoyed the country’s first Afghan restaurant, established in 1962, Caravan Serai. It was near the Ford plant, but now it and the plant are gone.

It suffered flooding shortly after our Afghan War began, and never reopened. It was fun while it lasted, belly dancers and all that…

I don’t think they can make a simple and reliable mechanical vehicle the likes of Afghans and rural Paks can maintain that can comply with the ever-increasing and insane safety, emissions and CAFE standards even in a “monkey version”. There is too much high tech embedded into every function of the vehicle.

The worst damage the cops can do to a racial socialist mayor (e.g., Garcetti, de Blah Blah Blah) is to show up for every shift, go on overtime orgies, and refuse to write tickets. All these mayors care about is the ticket quota money. If white cops refuse to collect it, they have less hate (Eric Garner) to deal with, the mayor can’t provide welfare and many of his patronage jobs, and black, Hispanic, Arab and South Asian cops have to deal with the hate.

They’re 90% there already. I’ve been with the LAFD for 30 years and the change in the LAPD has been astounding. Most have already figured out it’s more prudent just to do nothing. They’ll still police the major felonies but the lesser offenses that make the city more of a cesspool each day are ignored. Can’t really blame them. Prosecutors won’t prosecute and their own department will discipline them if they do the things they used to do.

A quick example. A Fire Captain was spit on recently. Years ago this would have meant an arrest and any resistance met with physical force. Now, our officer was told that if he wanted he could go to the police station and file a citizen’s arrest report.

NO, no they won’t go elsewhere or stop coming. For most of the dusky hordes sweeping into (or already arrived in) the U.S., even living rough UNDER A BRIDGE in America is better than their third-world shitholes. And way too many idiot-lib Americans will continue to coo over and support and feed and — force the rest of us to — help those poor illegals!

Even living at the bottom of the ladder in the U.S. is WAY better than their third-world shitholes; AND, because they help, import, and protect/cover for always-more of their own, they are recreating their comfort zone here: Import the third world, BECOME the third world! That is a fundamental truth!

They MUST go back (they must be FORCED to go back), because there is no Magic Dirt. They do not, will, and CANnot “become” Americans just by being here, and they bring their disorder, disease, violence, and crappy social standard (ha.) here.
