  1. Nah, you can always find crime in a big country like America. But LBJ and Nixon were right in pushing forced integration. They knew the facts on race but felt that a few murders, rapes and molestations were necessary to get us away from the horrors of racial separation/segregation.

Those who supported integration need to feel the FULL impact. Just like the loathsome proles did.

My SIL’s Stanford-educated leftist son was living the dream in a luxury condo in downtown Chicago writing algorithms for traders. Now he and his wife are moving out of the city, but they can’t sell their condo. He blames Covid for the need to move, but I think that’s just a cover. I remember when he was a college boy, he lamented that my children would grow up in the South as conservatives, which they did. And they all have had the good sense to stay out of a big city from which they’d eventually have to flee with their lives. Covid,..yeah, that’s the ticket.

It's generally already repressed because the truth of who commits an insanely high share of violent crime in our cities is embarrassing to the left.

Any time the perpetrators of a crime are described as "youth" or "kids" in the media, you know exactly who is being discussed. My city is one that had a surge in homicides in 2020, and every time I look at the paper for the latest murder, it's remarkable how little information it conveys about the suspects.

The latest initiative by the dim bulbs that run my town is the funding of a handful of "violence interruptors" which are just the typical dudes from the street that can supposedly talk to the misguided youngsters that make some areas of town unlivable and get them on the right path. We all know how this will work out.

The American future will be a place where anyone who is carrying symbols of wealth - however modest they might be - will be violently robbed of their portable property, and at home, their fixed property will be carried off by burglars.

Speaking of, the MSM are starting to pick up the "South African" covid variant story. Variant needs renaming, right? How about "Euro-White"?

    Here's today's WSJ:

How dangerous is this new strain?

The discovery and spread of the South African variant has coincided with a powerful surge in infections in the country. New daily cases and deaths have surpassed those seen in the first wave, which peaked in July. South African researchers say they believe that the new variant is round 50% more contagious, based on the much faster rate of transmission since its emergence and biological studies of changes to the structure of the virus, which appear to make it easier for it to attach to and infect human cells. The new strain has quickly crowded out other versions of the virus circulating in the country.

Are there any cases of this new strain in the U.S.?

No cases of the South African variant have been detected in the U.S., but that may be because not enough positive test samples have been sequenced. So far, laboratories in at least 22 other countries—including Canada, France, Germany and China--have found the variant in coronavirus tests, although mostly in people who had recently traveled to South Africa. Researchers in the U.K., Belgium, Botswana and Zambia say they have detected the variant in people with no recent travel history, suggesting it is already spreading there.

People naturally believe that their local news casts are particular to their own location, and shake their heads. “Our city is such a mess!” Regarding the nation as a whole? Their minds are filled with national MSM propaganda which is directly contrary, so guess which they believe.

If that weren’t enough, even local casts bend over backward to display ‘parity’ and ‘balance’ in their reports, so even local casts aren’t very accurate.

A Prince George’s County man has been charged with assaulting a woman and stealing her car at gunpoint at a gas station in Chevy Chase last week.

Tyrece A. Jones, 19, of Oxon Hill, is accused of attacking a 42-year-old woman on Jan. 14 and stealing her car, police said in a press release on Thursday.

Police said in the press release that the woman was fueling her car at a gas station in the 8500 block of Connecticut Avenue when Jones approached her with a handgun around 8:23 p.m. on Jan. 14...

And another in Arlington Texas. Store clerk shot dead in a way which suggests the murder of the white guy was the end in and of itself for the shooter.

And most gruesome and public of all but not fatal, 19 year old white girl cashier stabbed in neck in grocery store in Waterbury, Connecticut by arab immigrant after checking his items.

    https://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/man-accused-of-stabbing-waterbury-walmart-employee-after-she-scanned-his-milk-told-him-cost/2400931/

According to investigators, the cashier scanned a gallon of milk for Asfir and told him the total amount of money due.

After she told him, authorities said Asfir walked around the register, grabbed the cashier by her hair and stabbed her with a folding knife on the side of her head. After stabbing the cashier, Asfir dropped the knife and sat down, they added.

The cashier suffered a puncture wound behind her left ear, police said. She was transported by ambulance to Saint Mary’s Hospital where she is in stable condition.

None of which made it past local news.

“At 1:55 p.m. Sunday, Naperville police were called for a carjacking in the 400 block of East Bailey Road. A woman had been approached by two men in dark clothing, one of them with a handgun, police said.

The armed man took the woman’s keys and drove off in her 2018 maroon Dodge Charger, police said. The victim was not injured.”

And in the ¡Vibrant! city of Aurora:

    https://chicago.cbslocal.com/2021/01/17/aurora-police-search-for-2-men-after-woman-was-shot-critically-wounded-in-carjacking/

“Aurora Police Department spokesman Paris Lewbel said around 4 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to reports of a carjacking in progress outside the Wendy’s in the 1200 block of North Orchard Road.

When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been shot. Witnesses said she was eating in her car when the men pulled up in a black Ford Escape, forced her from her sport-utility vehicle, and shot her in the back.”

A couple of the reports at the CWB website lean towards use in another crime and discarding the vehicle. From this story on a car heisted from in front of Sears Tower:

    https://cwbchicago.com/2021/01/police-willis-tower-carjackers-linked-to-shootings-robberies-across-city-and-suburbs-videos.html

"Chicago police said the armed men, who travel in carjacked vehicles, may be linked to shootings on the city’s West Side. A source said they are also responsible for a shooting in Oak Park."

    .......

"A law enforcement source said the robbers arrived at Wednesday’s carjacking in another stolen vehicle bearing a plate that begins with CK135."

Steal a car, commit a crime, ditch it, steal another. The carjackers in this case are a really fun bunch of guys:

"Wednesday morning’s armed carjacking outside the former Sears Tower was captured on video and police have linked the hijackers to a string of violent crimes, including shootings, restaurant robberies, and other carjackings across the city and suburbs. The men also battered and robbed a pedestrian in the Loop."

That said, here's a unique story of stolen cars being fenced:

    https://cwbchicago.com/2021/01/prosecutors-man-sold-stolen-and-carjacked-vehicles-via-facebook-marketplace.html

"People wonder what happens to all of the cars taken by Chicago’s booming vehicular hijacking industry. Many of the cars are dumped after being taken for a joyride. Others are used to commit other crimes. And some, it seems, are being sold online.

That’s according to allegations prosecutors laid out in Ronnell Banks’ bond court hearing."

Recently, the Chicago Police broke up a large operation of car thieves targeting luxury brands. The thieves would ship the cars to a warehouse, remove all of the VINs, and sell the vehicles to shady customers at shady lots for shady prices. The ring leader did well enough to have his own private jet. The break came because the thieves missed someone’s cell phone that had GPS tracking.

A few months ago a police officer told me that a trend in his area was robbers stealing luxury cars and stashing them somewhere. They would then search for a car of the same make, model, and color in parking lots. If they found one, they'd remove the front license plate to put on the rear of the stolen car. In my state, you're issued two plates but are only required to have one on the rear. He said most people wouldn't notice that their front plate was missing, and a suspicious cop who ran the plates on the stolen car would see that it matched the vehicle. He would have to be suspicious enough to check the VIN to discover it was stolen, but that's unlikely. He said these cars are often rented out and the scam is called "ghetto uber."

When my car was stolen a few years ago, the cop told me that if it didn't turn up in 48 hours, we'd never see it again. He asked if it had a full tank, and was disappointed when I said it did, as the thieves will joyride around until it runs out of gas. It did turn up in 48 hours, flipped and totaled. There were cell phones left in the car when the thieves abandoned it. I activated them and saw pictures of black guys on their Facebook page, but the police made no effort to investigate the case. We were covered by insurance, no one was hurt, therefore it's a "victimless crime."

Joyriding is just the short story version of:

They did it because they could. Who was gonna stop them? Who was gonna catch them? There's no apparent "cost" (punishment) for their behavior. And it's very likely audacious behavior brought on by juvenile braggadocio, i.e. "Here, bet you can't top this--I dare you."

Adolescents learn the limits of behavior by testing boundaries. Big city urban governments let a whole range of uncivilized behavior (riot and looting, etc.) run rampant all summer long. Adolescents learn from the model of adult behavior--and the adults, both rioters and politicians, operated in a co-dependency of co-existence. Carjacking, defined as joyriding, are some of the consequences.

Well, joyriding was definitely one reason for car thefts back in the day. About 10 years ago I found a random Civic abandoned across the sidewalk in front of my house. The registration (or some paperwork in the car, I forget) had an address across town. I contacted the person and they didn't even know it was gone iirc. It had been parked on the street in a city. They came and picked it up.

One reason for carjacking increase is that it's harder to steal parked cars now because of more effective built in security so it's higher stakes, but reasonable that similar motivations are at work.

Also CWBChicago seems to buy that joyriding is a significant reason (in addition to their being used for robberies) and gives examples

there's also this from their same article:

“Juveniles are highly involved in carjackings,” Smith wrote. “Unfortunately, Illinois changed the law in 2016 so that arrests for armed carjacking are no longer treated as automatically adult crimes. An effort to change the law I championed in 2018 failed in Springfield. Since then, carjackings by juveniles have skyrocketed.”

And they know this: as long as you keep entertaining Nazis and Confederates in your ranks like the people featured in articles on this site – it works like a solute on your ability to organize – so they love the garbage that passes for thought leadership here.

Media leaders on the right could move past media leadership – easy / low road – and move to organizational leadership – hard / high road. Do that and combine local powers like this ISP and we could see a real difference.

It's hard to tell where one ends and where the other begins, one thing's for certain: there will be no Taki Mag essay next Tuesday definitively stating Steve's worldview and how the old dispensation has come crashing down (which it obviously has).

There's always the constant internal flywheel, that I'm not privy to understanding, which drives him on and on and on. He's human, I guess.

Steve is a good egg as my mother would have said. His thinking has been so influential for masses of people. That said, you cannot separate the mind from the man. The man is a Boomer stumbling into retirement who, like most of us over the age of 40, realizes that the American experiment is well and truly fucked.

Look at his blase response to the theft of an American election more blatant than any theft prior. He basically said - yeah, and? He's not a warrior nor should anyone look for him to be. He's a guy who fondly remembers the America of his youth, an unparalleled time in the history of the world: California boys and girls, playing in the sun, with riches beyond measure. Honestly, if I was him, I'd probably throw my hands up and walk away. Go sit in the sun by the water and know you gave it a good shot.

A couple of the reports at the CWB website lean towards use in another crime and discarding the vehicle. From this story on a car heisted from in front of Sears Tower:

    https://cwbchicago.com/2021/01/police-willis-tower-carjackers-linked-to-shootings-robberies-across-city-and-suburbs-videos.html

“Chicago police said the armed men, who travel in carjacked vehicles, may be linked to shootings on the city’s West Side. A source said they are also responsible for a shooting in Oak Park.”

    …….

“A law enforcement source said the robbers arrived at Wednesday’s carjacking in another stolen vehicle bearing a plate that begins with CK135.”

Steal a car, commit a crime, ditch it, steal another. The carjackers in this case are a really fun bunch of guys:

“Wednesday morning’s armed carjacking outside the former Sears Tower was captured on video and police have linked the hijackers to a string of violent crimes, including shootings, restaurant robberies, and other carjackings across the city and suburbs. The men also battered and robbed a pedestrian in the Loop.”

That said, here’s a unique story of stolen cars being fenced:

    https://cwbchicago.com/2021/01/prosecutors-man-sold-stolen-and-carjacked-vehicles-via-facebook-marketplace.html

“People wonder what happens to all of the cars taken by Chicago’s booming vehicular hijacking industry. Many of the cars are dumped after being taken for a joyride. Others are used to commit other crimes. And some, it seems, are being sold online.

That’s according to allegations prosecutors laid out in Ronnell Banks’ bond court hearing.”

Some get their eyes opened. Violent crime can change people. But there are 'only' a few hundred thousand violent crime victims each year, a small minority of whom become awakened (not 'awokened'); meanwhile several million more people are brainwashed by the (MSM) in the same interval.

In the Christian-Newsom torture-murders, the killers had Channon Christian's Toyota 4Runner. They didn't take it to a chop shop, despite the official claims the crime was a "robbery." And one of the two main perps was an experienced carjacker. The other was a long-time stickup man.

Their aim, of course, was torturing the victims to death. Ironically, the killers were ID'd due to an envelope in the vehicle with a fingerprint of one. Had they not left the 4Runner for the police to find by sending it to a chop shop, they might have gotten away with it.

Mostly senior citizens who are very aware of the violent, criminal nature of Blacks in the hood. Broadcasting more evidence of Black violence will not change the minds of those watching, they already know it is dangerous to live near Blacks and they spent most of their earnings to buy homes far away from Blacks. Those under the age of 40 do not watch broadcast television. Leftists under the age of 30 will blame systemic racism for the violent actions of Blacks. American students have been indoctrinated since grade school that Blacks are the victims and their actions are the fault of whites.

While “good” whites maintain that systemic racism is the cause of black violence. The elites pretend not to notice the violent nature of Blacks , yet they all move as far from Blacks as possible and promote immigration and amnesty do they can hire Hispanics instead of Blacks.

As others have stated, this is my biggest beef with Steve. What we want to know is what kind of policies will lead to a better future, and what should the Republican party of the future adopt as its key issues for making America great again?

    Replies: @Steve Sailer, @Neuday, @Forbes

Joyriding is just the short story version of:

They did it because they could. Who was gonna stop them? Who was gonna catch them? There’s no apparent “cost” (punishment) for their behavior. And it’s very likely audacious behavior brought on by juvenile braggadocio, i.e. “Here, bet you can’t top this–I dare you.”

Adolescents learn the limits of behavior by testing boundaries. Big city urban governments let a whole range of uncivilized behavior (riot and looting, etc.) run rampant all summer long. Adolescents learn from the model of adult behavior–and the adults, both rioters and politicians, operated in a co-dependency of co-existence. Carjacking, defined as joyriding, are some of the consequences.

The man is a Boomer stumbling into retirement who, like most of us over the age of 40, realizes that the American experiment is well and truly fucked.

Look at his blase response to the theft of an American election more blatant than any theft prior. He basically said – yeah, and? He’s not a warrior nor should anyone look for him to be. He’s a guy who fondly remembers the America of his youth, an unparalleled time in the history of the world: California boys and girls, playing in the sun, with riches beyond measure. Honestly, if I was him, I’d probably throw my hands up and walk away. Go sit in the sun by the water and know you gave it a good shot.

People are frustrated that most thought leaders in the alt-right, not just Steve, but people like Richard Spencer and others, endlessly critique current events and other "leaders," but never offer any plans to change anything. In general, alt-right pundits adopt a cynical, world weary tone that the base is getting sick of

Now that Trump is out of office, expect to see a growing movement of grassroots alt-right content consumers lashing out at de facto leaders who only want to be critics and not take on the responsibility of organizing political action. I'm trying to bash anyone, but this is what I'm seeing right now among the grassroots. The entire movement lost five years by supporting Trump. Everything is worse now and we are still at square one, not having our own candidates to vote for in elections.

The alt-right has wasted almost thirty years supporting the GOP. Imagine if we had spent that time organizing our own political party. No matter how slow going it would have been initially, we would be in an enviable position by now.

Look at a party like the Swedish Democrats. In 1992, when the paleocon/alt-right movement really got going, the SD were a tiny group of skinheads that couldn't get more than one or two percent of the vote in any election. Now, they are one of the major parties in Sweden, likely to get over 20% of the vote next election and are the second most popular party in the country. They have also dragged several center right parties towards their positions and those parties have expressed willingness to enter a coalition with the SD.

Yet, we still see a distinct lack of interest in electoral politics among American alt-right pundits and activists. People are eager to follow whoever puts up candidates for election. They are tired of this failed "metapolitics" strategy, the idea that we can just be about ideas and let someone who is not part of our movement do the actual power politics part.

After she told him, authorities said Asfir walked around the register, grabbed the cashier by her hair and stabbed her with a folding knife on the side of her head. After stabbing the cashier, Asfir dropped the knife and sat down, they added.

Yeah, joyriding as a motive sounds like a deleted scene from "Rebel Without a Cause."

    Replies: @Anon, @vhrm

Well, joyriding was definitely one reason for car thefts back in the day. About 10 years ago I found a random Civic abandoned across the sidewalk in front of my house. The registration (or some paperwork in the car, I forget) had an address across town. I contacted the person and they didn’t even know it was gone iirc. It had been parked on the street in a city. They came and picked it up.

One reason for carjacking increase is that it’s harder to steal parked cars now because of more effective built in security so it’s higher stakes, but reasonable that similar motivations are at work.

Also CWBChicago seems to buy that joyriding is a significant reason (in addition to their being used for robberies) and gives examples

there’s also this from their same article:

“Juveniles are highly involved in carjackings,” Smith wrote. “Unfortunately, Illinois changed the law in 2016 so that arrests for armed carjacking are no longer treated as automatically adult crimes. An effort to change the law I championed in 2018 failed in Springfield. Since then, carjackings by juveniles have skyrocketed.”

I can't afford to lay out too much of that mailbox money and i only give it to people I respect. Steve is one. Vox Day was one.

I’m trying to bash anyone, but this is what I’m seeing right now among the grassroots.

In 1992, when the paleocon/alt-right movement really got going, the SD were a tiny group of skinheads that couldn’t get more than one or two percent of the vote in any election.

They are tired of this failed “metapolitics” strategy, the idea that we can just be about ideas and let someone who is not part of our movement do the actual power politics part.

The odds are stacked against changing anything in the USA, not least because of the vast sums of money needed to participate in the electoral process. More than $10 billion was spent in the 2020 cycle. Unless you can get tens of millions of citizens to spend over $100 each on your electoral bid, you will need the support of corporations and super-rich individuals. The interests of the latter favor mass immigration to suppress wages, and (for some corporations) expensive foreign wars.

Nigel Farage was able to change the course of British politics without ever being elected, but he is almost a case study in how not to do this in the USA. He picked a single yes/no question - EU membership - that had caused simmering discontent for over 30 years; but it is hard to think of such a question in US politics. The popularity of his cause threatened the political party that was in government in the UK; but in the US, the financial issue mentioned above is a high barrier to overcome before you can pose any kind of electoral threat.

Trump was able to break in to this system by using his personal wealth. He had a couple of brilliant ideas that resonated with the public - reducing mass immigration, and not starting any more foreign wars. Unfortunately Trump is a fool and a narcissist. He had no idea how to work with Congress to get things done, and for example did not legislate for his wall in his first two years when the Republicans controlled both houses of Congress. He was reduced to governing by Executive Order and Twitter.

Not necessarily. For comparison, the Libertarian Party has made little progress in the same period.

The GOP is very good at pulling in voters with specific concerns, and not doing anything about them. The classic example is abortion. If the party had wanted to change abortion law, it would have tried to do so at some point during the last 47 years. Yet those who are strongly "pro-life" continue to place their trust in the Republicans, for no better reason than that the Democrats are even less "pro-life" than the GOP.

So what can be done? Either reduce the cost of participation in elections - for example by banning political TV advertising (difficult to do because the moneyed interests would like to keep their power). Or find another wealthy Presidential candidate who is both charismatic and, unlike Trump, capable of getting things done in Washington.

One positive about the US system is that Primary Elections allow such a candidate a chance to out-vote the "approved" candidates of his party. Both parties are susceptible to this kind of popular takeover - and surely a lot of Democratic voters are uncomfortable with their party becoming the home for business interests, warmongers, and transsexual lobbyists.

Partly (largely) the issue is the voting structure.

Some sort of ranked choice voting is a start to make things better. (see e.g. https://www.fairvote.org )

Ranked choice (aka instant runoff) i think is great so people can let their freak flag fly with their first choices without thereby voting for the guy they hate. That will show "freak" candidates have some support. If they get 10% of the first round vote the press and other people will will take some notice them get publicity. Now "third party" candidates get like 1% of the vote which doesn't merit much attention because it implies nobody sports them and their ideas.

    Later, proportional representation!

Sweden is not America. In America we have had a two party system for the last 150+ years. We don’t have a parliamentary system. We don’t have coalition governments. The best that third parties can do in America is act as spoilers, which usually results in throwing elections to the party they are most distant from – the exact opposite of what you want. America is balanced almost perfectly 50/50 – a third party that steals even a few % points can throw the election to the “wrong” party. Democrats are salivating at the idea that the Republican Party will break into two and split their votes. Then the Democrats can REALLY rule America forever.

    Replies: @Altai, @mmack, @aNewBanner, @Joe Stalin, @Whiskey, @TWS, @Harry Baldwin, @Alden, @Ed

A few months ago a police officer told me that a trend in his area was robbers stealing luxury cars and stashing them somewhere. They would then search for a car of the same make, model, and color in parking lots. If they found one, they’d remove the front license plate to put on the rear of the stolen car. In my state, you’re issued two plates but are only required to have one on the rear. He said most people wouldn’t notice that their front plate was missing, and a suspicious cop who ran the plates on the stolen car would see that it matched the vehicle. He would have to be suspicious enough to check the VIN to discover it was stolen, but that’s unlikely. He said these cars are often rented out and the scam is called “ghetto uber.”

When my car was stolen a few years ago, the cop told me that if it didn’t turn up in 48 hours, we’d never see it again. We were covered by insurance, no one was hurt, therefore it’s a “victimless crime.”

Due to a lack of familiarity with antifa due to media blackout it was possible to maintain this fiction. In reality 'umbrella man' was a white provocateur hoping for violence and destruction, he was just antifa.

I have long prayed that so-called evangelical Christians who regularly support the GOP would wake up and realize the GOP doesn’t give a shit about abortion except to get votes and donations. Politicians pay lip service to Christians’ concerns then laugh about how stupid and gullible they are.

The alt-right has wasted almost thirty years supporting the GOP. Imagine if we had spent that time organizing our own political party. No matter how slow going it would have been initially, we would be in an enviable position by now.

The retard’s sister happened to be driving by, and tried to rescue her brother, but the screaming crowd held her away so that the fun could continue until the retard was dead.

E.g., in the 1830 Census, Vermont had 15,000 more whites than South Carolina, but the 1832 reapportionment returned the latter's nine Congressional districts to the House, with Vermont retaining only five. Why did one group of white men get 80% more representation than another?

What is Steve hoping for ? Does he really believe that any adults over the age of 40 are not aware of the violent nature of Blacks. Who watches local news ? Mostly senior citizens who are very aware of the violent, criminal nature of Blacks in the hood. Broadcasting more evidence of Black violence will not change the minds of those watching, they already know it is dangerous to live near Blacks and they spent most of their earnings to buy homes far away from Blacks. Those under the age of 40 do not watch broadcast television. Leftists under the age of 30 will blame systemic racism for the violent actions of Blacks. American students have been indoctrinated since grade school that Blacks are the victims and their actions are the fault of whites.

While "good" whites maintain that systemic racism is the cause of black violence.

Across the street from a notorious housing project, what I assume was a black started assaulting a Chinese retard. He knocked him down and started kicking his skull in as a screaming crowd surrounded the scene and cheered him on. The retard's sister happened to be driving by, and tried to rescue her brother, but the screaming crowd held her away so that the fun could continue until the retard was dead.

Pretty horrifying, right? Page one news, I would say.

It was covered as briefly as possible -- and on page eighteen. One had to infer the race of the perpetrator and his audience.

Notice how even here they have to turn it into a somewhat dubious 'police heroism' story to report it at all.

Anyway, blacks attack anyone who's helpless -- but they really seem to go for elderly Asians.

In San Francisco, there are these elevated platforms for the buses and streetcars. For a while, it was quite a sport among black teenagers to push old Asian ladies off of them.

That will show “freak” candidates have some support. If they get 10% of the first round vote the press and other people will will take some notice them get publicity. Now “third party” candidates get like 1% of the vote which doesn’t merit much attention because it implies nobody sports them and their ideas.

    Later, proportional representation!

But you do this yourself by defending the forced integration of centuries past. E.g., in the 1830 Census, Vermont had 15,000 more whites than South Carolina, but the 1832 reapportionment returned the latter’s nine Congressional districts to the House, with Vermont retaining only five. Why did one group of white men get 80% more representation than another?
