If Jeb Bush is elected President in November 2016, how fast would a migrant flash mob bearing signs reading “¡Acto de Amor!” form at U.S. border crossings? The day after his inauguration? Or, more likely, the evening of his election, allowing lame duck President Obama to announce “the People have spoken” and order the gates swung open to the horde of future Democratic voters?

Why, that sounds like a Wet Dream.

Jeb Bush himself ominously alluded to this during the debate, something about America being at a crossroads, and deciding what future we'd be looking at.

I've said before, if Bush, or most of the candidates really, become President then it will be time to accept the end of the nation.

  2. While thinking about how the European elites are trying to force their unwilling people to take in refugees, I imagine a cartoon that shows them playing a game of chess, with the elites playing one side and the people on the other. But the board is flooded with little pieces representing the refugees, and the elites just smirk and say “checkmate”.

And then I think about Rotherham, so the next frame of the cartoon shows, instead of a chessboard, an scared European girl surrounded by Muslim men, but the elites are still there, smirking and saying “checkmate.”

They think they are morally superior, but that feeling is bought with the sacrifice and suffering of others.

U.S. Science survey shows men outscore women, republicans outscore democrats, whites outscore blacks.

Who’d have thought. Rather counter to the narrative that republicans do better than democrats, although the authors have tried to cast it in a demographic sense.

Merkel shows how just one person and their party can quickly ruin an entire nation, affecting millions of unwilling citizens. Open the floodgates, get us into lost wars that cost trillions, destroy the inner fabric of the culture, there’s a lot of potential for ruin. One never knows, Jeb might be that person; some other innocuous appearing candidate could also unpredictably turn out to be a wrecker.

  11. That´s basically the way Morocco took over the Western Sahara. They had 350,000 unarmed Moroccans cross the border claiming for the return of the Morocann sahara, while the Spanish troops were ordered not to shoot. If Mexico was interested in annexing “Alta California”, they´d already have done so.

  12. WGG [AKA "World\'s Greatest Grandson"] says:

Well, how long does it take to get from Central America to Texas? I don’t think the Mexicans have been intimidated by any border policy in the last twenty years, so it probably wouldn’t influence them. Most Mexicans are never caught, but those who are do not even have to go through formal deportation proceedings, which would make future entry risky. Once formally deported, there is mandatory prison and fines for getting caught in the USA illegally again. This usually only happens to non-Mexicans. Mexicans, because their country is next door, get the privilege of choosing “voluntary removal” by the authorities without ever seeing a judge. Border Patrol simply dumps them back on the Mexican side of the border, and there are no penalties for trying again the next day, week, month or year.

The risk for people from further away is much greater. Whether it is the abuse they suffer in Mexico, riding La Bestia train, or being formally deported, their price of admission is much higher.

  14. Roughly 10 minutes after Jeb is declared the winner. Thankfully right now anyway that looks very unlikely. There has never been any candidate of any American political party that has gone out of his way to this degree to intentionally infuriate his own putative base. Choke on all that donor class cash, Senor Jeb.

  15. Developed countries with low level of ethnic diversity tend to become socialistic( left or liberal). The only reason for USA with central right leaning is due to its higher percentage of poor ethnic minority. You do not want to give too much handout to the poor since most of them are not your own kind (according to world on fire by Chua). Actually this is good to keep USA more on the nature of true Darwin society. Let the poor (including poor whites) shrink, and replace them with downward mobility of upper classes. In the long run, USA will win the race against liberal socialistic countries which are anti-human-bioprogression.

If you want human-bioprogression, you need to create the enviroments that do not give much sympathy to the poors.

Bush family really want to re-establish feudal society when they want to rid of death tax. If Bill Gate purchased the entire land from a state and there is no death tax, Gate family will be the virtual feudal lord or duke of that state and collect rent or tax on all subjectives living in that state. With feudal society re-estabolished, human-bioprogression or natural eugenics will come back.

    Devil’s advocate.

First, for most on this blog a homogeneous, European America with the demographics of pre-1965 is more of a priority than the political leanings of the government. If you gave me Finland's demographics, I'd take Finland's socialized medical system and not be terribly bothered by it. What good is having a laissez-faire free market if your demographics are incapable of taking advantage of it?

Second, the poor are not going to shrink and be replaced by the erstwhile middle class. Yeah, a lot of middle class folks might drop several social strata, but trust me the poor are just going to be augmented by the never ending flow of poor third worlders. The poor aren't going anywhere. Their numbers are only going to swell.

    http://abusaeedawlaki.tumblr.com/post/128405472143/culture-clash-understanding-the-syrian-race

This is a british ISIS jihadi complaining about the behaviour of his arab “brothers”. He’s got some good material, for example:

“Majority of the Arabs in administration are not only lazy workers but also unaware of their job role. Many times you would go to the office that deals with military work, and he would direct you to the office for the Wāli (Amīr of the Wilāyah). At this office, the Arab behind the desk would direct you to the office that deals with finance, and from here you would be redirected to the office you went to right in the start.”

    and

“It is common to hear an Arab in administration reply with the words “bukrah inshāAllāh” (which means “hopefully tomorrow”) or in plain English, “I’m too lazy, leave me alone and come back some other time!” Unfortunately, Arabs run the system here in Shām and they are, from what is apparent, the laziest and unfit for their jobs.”

I hope you might be able to make a little post about this, since it’s highly amusing.

I keep coming up with just a fuzzy idea of US & EU pundits trying to ram through a kind of "holier-than-thou" agenda to reshape Europe because it is the "moral thing to do." That's why it is sort of snarky (my opinion) that the Hungarians have often blurted out that they do not want to be part of this ethnic existential crisis (or a Darwinian struggle in the future with unwilling-to-embrace-host-country's-culture and laws by minority groups forced upon them by EU) by constantly bringing up the "we are a Christian country" mantra.

Of course, when considering geography, they live in a crummy part of the world for being bashed around by many states in the past. And, they can attack back by saying they have been taken advantage too many times, and that the middle east quagmire/Syria has nothing to do with "everyday" Hungarians.

Next we'll see arguments (and, it will be a nightmare for PC pundits of any religion, or for atheists, for that matter) between Christians over not being a "real" Christian. But, I guess Hungary has already been called that. Eastern Europe has always been annoyed that many Europeans are so quick to claim that religion has lost it's value. But, I believe that there is this morality game being played to shame every country (and the US, even though US pundits are ginning up most of the morality games) to take more migrants.

My message to everyone who doubts Trump’s reliability on immigration is: support him anyway, to prove to all the other Republicans that running on the national issue is an electoral winner. If they start believing that, the fence sitters will come over to our side, the already sympathetic will stiffen their spines, and immigration patriots who otherwise wouldn’t even run will come out of the woodwork and take some Congressional seats.

    Well said, IJ. Precisely so.

Jonah Goldberg and all the other NRO scribes keep hammering away on the fact (and it *is* a fact) that Trump is no conservative. But what they *should* be doing is pounding on the *establishment* candidates, until one or another of them *outbids* Trump on the national issue.

If Ted Cruz, for example, were to move to the right of Trump on immigration, I might actually get interested in the Republican primaries, for the first time in almost thirty years.

It's really cool to hear such national, "team-oriented," sentiments coming from someone who identifies as jewish. I wish jews would realize how many people (probably even many supposed "antisemites") just simply want us to all be on the same side.

(Without detracting in the least from what I have expressed above, I am curious as to the particulars of your definition of "the national issue.")

As an aside, when you’re a weak candidate with no real fame or accomplishments like Jeb, choosing your own name as your campaign slogan is just stupid and self centered. The Donald using Trump! would make more sense, but he’s not narcissistic enough to do it.

"As an aside, when you’re a weak candidate with no real fame or accomplishments like Jeb, choosing your own name as your campaign slogan is just stupid and self centered."

The reason he made "Jeb!" his campaign slogan, is because he's trying to downplay the fact his last name is Bush. I know that seems stupid, but its kinda like all those Bush/Quayle stickers in 1992, when Quayle's name was in this sort of light-orange shade, one that was barely legible on the blue background. As if they think we're so stupid, we'd just forget that Quayle was running for re-election as Vice-President. The Bush family regards their potential supporters as a bunch of ignorant peasants, which is reason #1,294 on the list of Excellent Reasons to Vote Against Jeb.

  28. But, the morality game (what am I even saying!) can be played from different angles. I have some rambling thoughts that Trump will inevitably be hit with questions tonight like: ” after the comments you made about Mexicans, how would you deal with the refugee crisis in Europe?” I believe someone on the panel is going to go full-out snarky on the refugee/Syria/Iran nuclear deal when it’s Trump’s turn. They enjoyed the fact that he “woke up naked in public” – remember those dreams? – with his stumbling & bumbling over Quds and Kurds. He can’t afford to make that kind of mistake again – his inability to deal with the international problems that all presidents face could evaporate his nomination chances.

Here’s how one can play the morality game: Trump should insist that EU needs to have better organizational skills. Only women and children from Syria should be let it…next in line would be the fathers of that specific nuclear family ( after a full biometrics screening and security screening); next grandma & grandpa, barely able to walk another step without a wheelchair at EU bus stations/airports (we haven’t seen that photo yet, right? – I know someone will do their homework!) and, next; All Syrians who can prove that they are physicists, engineers, doctors, lawyers, nano-technologists, neurosurgeons, etc. (the kind of people Celebrity Apprentice looks for); next: Syrian skilled workers (having passed the same tests for all males). Last, would be everyone else, who probably have a “uge” chance to be deported pronto, if not Syrian, no passport, no bc, no proof of identity, fail in biometrics/fail security.

Everyone would also have to produce (if they threw out their “other than Syrian” passport) their birth certificate! Trump could segue into a fun joke about his obsession with O’s birth certificate! Everyone loves a person who can laugh at himself when he knows he’s been wrong, an ass-hat, or stupid. Also, tailoring his narrative on immigrants (EU this time) to be like the waning hours on the Titanic: women and children are the priority, will give him a ‘terrific’ way to be champion, a winner when it comes to those sad, big eyed-kids behind chainlink/razor wire, the photos the MSM constantly saturates the world with.

And, finally, he can stumble into pointing the finger at Saudi Arabia, how the Sunni vs Shia is the problem, how Russia is siding with Iran/Asad to counter the Sunni Islam rise that scares the crap out of everyone, including Russia & China. No one wants business to fail world-wide.

And I just do not see that happening because Jeb Bush does not have enough charisma to change hearts and minds. Jeb Bush is not exactly the Hussein Obama of The Republican Party. Jeb Bush himself ominously alluded to this during the debate, something about America being at a crossroads, and deciding what future we’d be looking at.

I’ve said before, if Bush, or most of the candidates really, become President then it will be time to accept the end of the nation.

    I’ll take Peter Brimelow’s definition.

Unless I was going to live in Israel, I’d have to be crazy not to want to live in a country overwhelmingly dominated by law-abiding, fair-minded, non-littering, PTA-attending, careful-driving, live-and-let-live Anglo-Saxons.

Trump don't need no steenkin' exclamation points.

In A Dictionary of Modern English Usage, H.W. Fowler wrote that the use of exclamation points is the mark of one "who wants to add a spurious dash of sensation to something unsensational." Which about sums up Jeb's campaign.

An exclamation point is usually a good substitute for a smileyface emoticon.

But, sure, it should be used sparingly.

"The only way Jeb Bush will win the Republican nomination would be if he convinces a significant chunk of Donald Trump supporters that Jeb is what is really best for America."

I hope you're right, but I'm not so sure. If Trump remains popular then eventually those who won't vote for Trump under any circumstances will align behind one single candidate. As other candidates fall one by one (Rick Perry is already out, and not a single primary has been held) Bush only needs to be the second-to-last man standing.

There are still a very large number of Republicans - perhaps a majority - who won't vote for Trump under any circumstances. Their votes could go to Bush. We can only be thankful that the Democratic nomination is shaping up to be more competitive than previously thought, otherwise a lot of Dem voters who be crossing over to screw up the Republican side.

As Mark Steyn has said, Trump’s theoretical ceiling seems to just go up and up and up.

"First, for most on this blog a homogeneous, European America with the demographics of pre-1965"

Pre-1965 immigration act America was not homogeneous. It had a large Black population and the White population itself is very diverse as not all White Americans are descendants of Mayflower people from England.

    large Black population

    10%

the White population itself is very diverse as not all White Americans are descendants of Mayflower people from England.

    The right kind of diversity.
