From the New York Times:

Women’s March on Washington Opens Contentious Dialogues About Race
By FARAH STOCKMAN JAN. 9, 2017

Many thousands of women are expected to converge on the nation’s capital for the Women’s March on Washington the day after Donald J. Trump’s inauguration. Jennifer Willis no longer plans to be one of them.

Ms. Willis, a 50-year-old wedding minister from South Carolina, had looked forward to taking her daughters to the march. Then she read a post on the Facebook page for the march that made her feel unwelcome because she is white.

The post, written by a black activist from Brooklyn who is a march volunteer, advised “white allies” to listen more and talk less. It also chided those who, it said, were only now waking up to racism because of the election.

“You don’t just get to join because now you’re scared, too,” read the post. “I was born scared.”

Stung by the tone, Ms. Willis canceled her trip.

“This is a women’s march,” she said. “We’re supposed to be allies in equal pay, marriage, adoption. Why is it now about, ‘White women don’t understand black women’?”

If all goes as planned, the Jan. 21 march will be a momentous display of unity in protest of a president whose treatment of women came to dominate the campaign’s final weeks.

To be precise, came to dominate the losing candidate’s failed strategy.

But long before the first buses roll to Washington and sister demonstrations take place in other cities, contentious conversations about race have erupted nearly every day among marchers, exhilarating some and alienating others.

In Tennessee, emotions ran high when organizers changed the name of the local march from “Women’s March on Washington-Nashville” to “Power Together Tennessee, in solidarity with Women’s March on Washington.” While many applauded the name change, which was meant to signal the start of a new social justice movement in Nashville, some complained that the event had turned from a march for all women into a march for black women.

In Louisiana, the first state coordinator gave up her volunteer role in part because there were no minority women in leadership positions at that time.

“I got a lot of flak locally when I stepped down, from white women who said that I’m alienating a lot of white women,” said Candice Huber, a bookstore owner in New Orleans, who is white. “They said, ‘Why do you have to be so divisive?’”

In some ways, the discord is by design. Even as they are working to ensure a smooth and unified march next week, the national organizers said they made a deliberate decision to highlight the plight of minority and undocumented immigrant women and provoke uncomfortable discussions about race.

“This was an opportunity to take the conversation to the deep places,” said Linda Sarsour, a Muslim who heads the Arab American Association of New York and is one of four co-chairwomen of the national march. “Sometimes you are going to upset people.”

The post that offended Ms. Willis was part of that effort. So was the quotation posted on the march’s Facebook page from Bell Hooks, the black feminist, about forging a stronger sisterhood by “confronting the ways women — through sex, class and race — dominated and exploited other women.”

In response, a New Jersey woman wrote: “I’m starting to feel not very welcome in this endeavor.”

A debate then ensued about whether white women were just now experiencing what minority women experience daily, or were having a hard time yielding control. A young white woman from Baltimore wrote with bitterness that white women who might have been victims of rape and abuse were being “asked to check their privilege,” a catchphrase that refers to people acknowledging their advantages, but which even some liberal women find unduly confrontational.

No one involved with the march fears that the rancor will dampen turnout; even many of those who expressed dismay at the tone of the discussion said they still intended to join what is sure to be the largest demonstration yet against the Trump presidency.

“I will march,” one wrote on the march’s Facebook page, “Hoping that someday soon a sense of unity will occur before it’s too late.”

But these debates over race also reflect deeper questions about the future of progressivism in the age of Trump. Should the march highlight what divides women, or what unites them? Is there room for women who have never heard of “white privilege”?

And at a time when a presidential candidate ran against political correctness and won — with half of white female voters supporting him — is this the time to tone down talk about race or to double down?

“If your short-term goal is to get as many people as possible at the march, maybe you don’t want to alienate people,” said Anne Valk, the author of “Radical Sisters,” a book about racial and class differences in the women’s movement. “But if your longer-term goal is to use the march as a catalyst for progressive social and political change, then that has to include thinking about race and class privilege.”

The discord also reflects the variety of women’s rights and liberal causes being represented at the march, as well as a generational divide.

Many older white women spent their lives fighting for rights like workplace protections that younger women now take for granted. Many young activists have spent years protesting police tactics and criminal justice policies — issues they feel too many white liberals have ignored.

“Yes, equal pay is an issue,” Ms. Sarsour said. “But look at the ratio of what white women get paid versus black women and Latina women.”

For too long, the march organizers said, the women’s rights movement focused on issues that were important to well-off white women, such as the ability to work outside the home and attain the same high-powered positions that men do. But minority women, they said, have had different priorities. Black women who have worked their whole lives as maids might care more about the minimum wage or police brutality than about seeing a woman in the White House.

How many of those are left? Seriously, in most places I’ve lived, Hispanics had completely displaced blacks as workers inside houses or back yards.

Undocumented immigrant women might care about abortion rights, they said, but not nearly as much as they worry about being deported.

Black women, like the late Barbara Jordan, might care about blacks getting back jobs taken from them by illegal aliens, but that just doesn’t come up much.

This brand of feminism — frequently referred to as “intersectionality” — asks white women to acknowledge that they have had it easier. It speaks candidly about the history of racism, even within the feminist movement itself. The organizers of the 1913 suffrage march on Washington asked black women to march at the back of the parade. …

But the tone of the discussion, particularly online, can become so raw that some would-be marchers feel they are no longer welcome.

Ms. Willis, the South Carolina wedding minister, had been looking forward to the salve of rallying with people who share her values, a rarity in her home state, where she said she had been insulted and shouted at for marrying gay couples.

But then she read a post by ShiShi Rose, a 27-year-old blogger from Brooklyn.

“Now is the time for you to be listening more, talking less,” Ms. Rose wrote. “You should be reading our books and understanding the roots of racism and white supremacy. Listening to our speeches. You should be drowning yourselves in our poetry.”

It rubbed Ms. Willis the wrong way.

“How do you know that I’m not reading black poetry?” she asked in an interview. Ms. Willis says that she understands being born white gives her advantages, and that she is always open to learning more about the struggles of others.

But, she said, “The last thing that is going to make me endeared to you, to know you and love you more, is if you are sitting there wagging your finger at me.”

Ms. Rose said in an interview that the intention of the post was not to weed people out but rather to make them understand that they had a lot of learning to do.

“I needed them to understand that they don’t just get to join the march and not check their privilege constantly,” she said.

That phrase — check your privilege — exasperates Ms. Willis. She asked a reporter: “Can you please tell me what that means?”

  1. This is delicious. And it’s happening to the most deserving people: Nice White Ladies.

I thought we were all supposed to be buddies here at The End of History. But no, it’s all “back-of-the-bus, Whitey.”

I hope they continue to alienate their White “Allies” — we’re not polarized enough yet. 53% of White women seem to understand already, and I feel that number will continue to grow

That would be the block that sends their coalition crumbling, at least nationally. Pulling 5% or so more white ladies, especially young ones, would hurt national democratic candidates in a way that would be hard to compensate for with more minority turnout (as documented in this blog).

Women need to be able to join a strong and secure group. That number is so low--actually--because White men have abdicated their responsibility for maintaining collective strength. That 53% will not have a meaningful behind it commitment, nor will it grow, until White men man up.

Continue to alienate their white "allies" - You mean, like the below:

From a Black Lives Matter organizer / leader (Ashleigh Shackelford) “For White People Who Want to Attend #BlackLivesMatter Protests”

    http://wearyourvoicemag.com/identities/race/white-people-blacklivesmatter-protests

Nothing you have is yours. Let me be clear: Nothing you have is yours. Also, Let me be see through: Reparations are not donations, because we are not your charity, tax write off, or good deed for the day. You are living off of stolen resources, stolen land, exploited labor, appropriated culture and the murder of our people. Nothing you have is yours.

We need housing, transportation, food, clothes, free space for meetings and work space; we need laptops, cell phones, encrypted systems for communication, solar power and LAND. Stop playing. Y’all really thought pulling up to the protest in your Hyundai was gonna be enough? Nah. You have to give us everything we need and more, because even if it means you go without — it doesn’t matter because that’s how we been living for 400+ years. Reparations will never be negotiable.

If you really believe that #BlackLivesMatter, ask yourself if you’re willing to die for us and to die to dismantle this system. Are you willing to give up everything you have to make sure Black people can survive, thrive and be safe?

"Maybe a good, long march for black ladies isn’t such a bad idea."

Every year in London (and elsewhere for all I know) there's a 26-mile all-night sponsored walk in aid of breast cancer research, the Moonwalk (if you want to see lots of young and not so young (exhibitionist) ladies in pink bras, it's the place to be - I'd have thought it was dangerous, but there are a lot of them).

The attendees are 99.9% white, despite London's demographics. Asian ladies aren't going to walk the streets in their underwear, and I would bet there are more white men than black women walking.

Diversity people are a victim cult entitled by many federal laws and they are a super-majority of American and Israeli voters.

Their common ideological bond is victimhood, forever persecuted by Nazi, white supremacist, and the oppressor classes of people:

Women are entitled because of Male oppression
Jewish are entitled because of Gentile oppression

Muslims are entitled because of Christian oppression

I have a really bad feeling about this whole endeavor, as Steve does. The buzz has died for this march on my FB page. I mean January (also Gay Ski Week in Aspen at this time - so much funner!), is tough to march with women who you don't hang-out with; who you have no connection with? If this was in Finland/Iceland/Canada there might be "vodka stations" to stay warm, and Nordics can connect with vodka; but haha, never here, in DC and not at a resort in winter.

  14. They (not the dude) are cutting their own throats. There was a bunch of brave talk from black newscasters during the election night coverage about how they would not be placid (as before). Implicitly being violent now. This stuff is going to turn even more and more centrist white women to their race and away from the liberal collective.

Have fun cutting your own throats. Blacks are still a substantial minority. And that whole black skin is a suit of armor is getting more and more chinked. (no pun intended).

  15. Money will start leaving the Democratic Party before voters do. It will become like Detroit where eventually the only thing left are the poorest of the blacks that could not muster enough resources to leave.

  16. We’ll see what happens. I’ve been reading stories about how one party or the other is dead after every major upset. 2, 4, or 6 years later they sweep back and now the other party is dead.

On surface it seems that you are correct. Deeper however this is the raisons d'être of Blacks from the point of view of TPTB because no coalition is ever possible in America to challenge TPTB. Any coalition and cause breaks down on racial line. This is played every time. Slavery was the best investment TPTB ever made. The gift that keeps on giving. TPTB in Europe want to emulate this American socio-technology in Europe by opening borders to immigration and refugee taking.
    , @Massimo Heitor

Blacks ruin everything they touch and will drive away non-blacks from the left and the Democrat party.

Just about everyone here would prefer black conservatives to ultra left whites. And black conservatives are minorities among blacks, there are more than a few of them.
    , @Citizen of a Silly Country
At some point, Nice White Ladies will realize that race trumps gender (and everything else). When they do, they'll turn on a dime. Most women don't have deep political attachments. It's mostly fashion for them.

I'd suspect that upper middle class women from the South understand this much better than Northern women, but that's just a guess.
  19. “We’ll see what happens. I’ve been reading stories about how one party or the other is dead after every major upset. 2, 4, or 6 years later they sweep back and now the other party is dead.”

And the "trend" would be for a bathtub with the tap turned on and the stopper in to overflow. Turn off the tap, open the drain, and all of a sudden not so much.

Also, in terms of changing the dynamics, if Trump can deliver, prospering (or at least, horrified by BLM) Blacks and assimilating Latins would also change the "trend".
    , @Frau Katze

...demographic trends still favor the Democrats.

True. But for some reason or other, I find this story encouraging.

I was formerly a leftist myself (more from family background than anything else) but after reading around in the aftermath of 9/11 I fairly quickly started to rethink it.

I had no idea how nutty and extreme these people could be. This just adds to it. Yes, they're even worse than I thought.

I'm not even sure what they're protesting. I thought it was something to do with Trump's alleged behaviour toward women. But leftists didn't seem to have any problem with Bill Clinton.

    , @Citizen of a Silly Country
Yep. Bit by bit, it will be harder and harder for a Republican to win the presidency. Of course, before Trump, who the hell cared. The GOP was just as bad as the Dems on the only issue that matters: Immigration.

At the end of the, you could cut immigration tomorrow, and we'd still be screwed. Whites a slight minority of births. A Brazil-like future is already baked in the pie. It's more a question of how bad it's going to get.
    , @Captain Tripps

True. And demographic trends still favor the Democrats.

In the short- and possibly medium-term. Long-term points to a fundamental change in the country's politics.

The country changed fundamentally after the first big wave of Central/Eastern/Southern European immigration from 1880-1920, but that was part of a big increase in European and founding stock American populations anyway. We were inevitably headed toward a more national-level political culture away from the state-level regional culture pre-Civil War. Think of small-town and county-level politics as an echo of that America.

This new wave of largely non-European immigration will change the governing relationship between the citizen and the State that is hard to predict. Some of the new arrivals have no problem culturally with a strong, authoritarian central government (Russians, Chinese, Latins, Hindus), but others not as much (tribal Middle Easterners).

Not exactly a genius assemblage. And this group will surely alienate their Nice White Lady allies just for the feelz. The ability to dominate. And that is what Democratic Politics offer at its core — the ability of the various groups to dominate Whites. That used to be just White men, see how the Nice White Ladies like say, Megyn Kelly reflexively side with non-White activists and despise Donald Trump. [This alone explains the Cuckservative movement — beta males which is 90% of White men attempting vainly to placate their angry women.]

Now that its White women, eventually even Megyn Kelly will be replaced by say, that actress from “Precious” or some other woman of color who is “thinly challenged.” [F.A.T.]

Instead of "here's the money, take it and fuck off" it's more about submission and dominance.

Figured that this would be right up your alley. I'll give you credit for pointing out the Nice White Lady problem long before any of the rest of us thought about it.

However, the next big question relates to the group that you seem loathe to even acknowledge, much less criticize: Jews. Are blacks and THEY stupid enough or just unaware enough to start pushing back against liberal (most) Jews? I suppose in one sense they already are. I mean, if you start demanding positions of power in the Democratic Party, you're going to force out a number of Jews due to their over representation at the top.

At what point do Jews, like Nice White Ladies, realize that they're not going to get a Victim Pass from blacks and THEM, that blacks and Hispanics and the others will consider Jews as whites regardless of the clever arguments that they aren't?

The Dems would like to keep Nice White Ladies, but the Dems NEED Jewish money, organization and influence. Lose the Jews and it's over for the Dems. At what point do Jews start fearing real blacks and Hispanics more than mystical Nazis?

Diversity people are not a coalition nor are they "the fringes".

Queers are entitled because of Straight oppression
Muslims are entitled because of Christian oppression
Disabled are entitled because of Healthy oppression
Afro-blacks are entitled because of White oppression
Latinos are entitled because of Gringo oppression
Hispanics are entitled because of Gringo oppression
Military Veterans are entitled because of Militia oppression
2-party System Dependents are entitled because of Independent oppression
Aboriginals are entitled because of Paleface oppression
Asians are entitled because of Occidental oppression
National Socialist are entitled because of Local-State Government oppression
Crony Capitalist are entitled because of Honest Businessmen oppression
Zionist are entitled because of anti-Fascist oppression

Good summary! Append a 10 question quiz, and you could sell it as a continuing ed course in SJW!

  29. And at a time when a presidential candidate ran against political correctness and won — with half of white female voters supporting him — is this the time to tone down talk about race or to double down?

True. And demographic trends still favor the Democrats.

And the “trend” would be for a bathtub with the tap turned on and the stopper in to overflow. Turn off the tap, open the drain, and all of a sudden not so much.

Also, in terms of changing the dynamics, if Trump can deliver, prospering (or at least, horrified by BLM) Blacks and assimilating Latins would also change the “trend”.

"And the “trend” would be for a bathtub with the tap turned on and the stopper in to overflow. Turn off the tap, open the drain, and all of a sudden not so much."

Yes, it is possible, if measures are taken. But measures have to be taken.

"Also, in terms of changing the dynamics, if Trump can deliver, prospering (or at least, horrified by BLM) Blacks and assimilating Latins would also change the “trend”."

I'm doubtful about that. The economy as a whole prospered between 1945 - 1975. Presumably blacks did to a large extent as well. And during that whole time they became a more nearly monolithic Democratic voting block. Any conservative party is essentially going to be a white party.
  31. @Cucksworth
It's ok and it even makes sense to be liberal/socialist and nationalist. After all, the welfare you vote for should go to members of you own clan, and the healthcare, fertility, education as well.

The narrative is that only conservative right wing can be nationalist and that isn't even just wrong its backwards too. The clan that has taken over the left makes it hard for me to vote liberal when it's Barbara Boxer.

I voted Jill Stein because she said she'd reopen 9-11 investigations and because I am a cuck

‘Architects, Engineers and Cuckolds for 9-11 Truth’.

  32. @Ed
I dug into the FL early vote data before the election & I was struck by how female the Democrats had become. Women made up 60%+ of the early FL Dem voters at the time I looked at it. If it wasn't for black men it probably would have been closer to 70% women. I remember thinking that the Dems can't go on like this indefinitely.

Remember all that talk about the “gender gap” and just what are Republicans going to do to make women like them again? I always wondered how you could have a big gender gap in only one direction when the country is split basically 50/50.

    • Replies: @Ed
Much of the gender gap is driven by black women. Black women support the Dems almost exclusivity (polls of black women often show 98-2 ratios). Black men are a little bit more ideologically diverse at around 85-15% Dem support. However black women make up close to 2/3 of the black vote.

At any rate whereas white women roughly split their votes 50/50. Once you had black women to the mix presto gender gap that is persistently in Dem favors. If the gender gap is at parity than you know white women are leaning towards the GOP.
  33. “How many of those are left? Seriously, in most places I’ve lived, Hispanics had completely displaced blacks as workers inside houses or back yards.”

If you see a Black female doing domestic work, 9 times out of 10 she is an immigrant and not an African American.

When I stayed at The Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando I had a Spanish speaking Negro woman clean my room.

  34. I predict there will also be infighting within the LGBT crowd. I can imagine black and Hispanic lesbians being resentful of white gay males, such as Robby Mook, for getting all the good jobs in the Democratic party.

Thing is, women--at least heterosexual women--aren't actually in competition with men. If a woman is married to a man, then what does it matter if he makes $1 and she makes 50 cents, or if they both make 75 cents? The net income coming into the household is the same either way. Donald Trump is not a real threat to these women; worst case scenario, their sons die in war in Syria. (And if they thought their sons' lives were actually on the line, they wouldn't bullshit around with this race nonsense.)

Rather, women compete primarily with other women--for the most valuable resource, men (or men's incomes.) Women can make friends with other women or work together to advance actual common interests, but all of these women (illegal immigrants excepted) actually have more to gain by competing against each other than by competing against Trump. They can conquer each other; they can't conquer Trump.
  43. How will the republican party or conservative coalition change as white, educated men and women are increasingly alienated and pushed out of the left as pointed out here?

    • Replies: @biz
This could be one of the most important political developments of the next 20 years. While much is rightly made of the white working class being driven away from the Democrats, there could be a lot of cultural and political fallout if and when SWPLs (as distinct from hardcore SJWs) also start to leave.

Already we see the beginnings of people who in a previous era would be natural liberals being pushed out and/or leaving the ideological left and in many cases the Democratic party. Early examples are Dave Rubin and Sam Harris. Look for dissident academics such as Steve Pinker, Jerry Coyne, and Jonathan Haidt to be the next batch of high profile liberal exits from the Left.

For many of these people their strongest connection to liberalism is/was opposition to the religious right. But nowadays some blowhard creationist bumpkin in a trailer park just doesn't seem that threatening when compared against the agents of hardcore Jihad. And with these people feeling literal, explicit hatred in the academy and the mediasphere for being stale, pale, and male, I don't think they're masochistic enough to stick around for the abuse for too long.

Outside of the academy, there are probably a lot of otherwise well-behaved and mild-mannered knowledge economy workers who will be forced to sit through one too many diversity seminars.

I would imagine if this comes to pass - let's say a significant number of relatively affluent, educated, and not very religious whites (and Asians) drifts toward the Republican coalition - the Republicans will become less overtly religious, and maybe less overtly hostile to environmentalism. Upper middle class SWPLs are probably not that ideologically invested in food stamps, Head Start, or even abortion when it comes down to it, but they really don't want their kids being taught creationism in school or seeing oil rigs in National Parks.

On surface it seems that you are correct. Deeper however this is the raisons d’être of Blacks from the point of view of TPTB because no coalition is ever possible in America to challenge TPTB. Any coalition and cause breaks down on racial line. This is played every time. Slavery was the best investment TPTB ever made. The gift that keeps on giving. Bell hooks, bell end, easy to confuse.

  63. I remember during the disturbances on Ivy campuses with large black populations pictures of the marchers, in particular the infamous one at Dartmouth that ended in black students roving through the library screaming at fellow students.

Though the main march had plenty, perhaps even a plurality or majority of white students, there were very few white males. It was very clear.

This million woman + ‘allies’ march on Washington might be an example of implicit anti-white maleness in the same way the march in Paris after the Charlie Hebdo massacre was an example of implicit Gaulicness by way of the obvious absence of non-French participants.

Lay down with dogs, get up with fleas.

And at a time when a presidential candidate ran against political correctness and won — with half of white female voters supporting him — is this the time to tone down talk about race or to double down?

They're off by 6%; Trump got 53% of the White female vote. I bet they'd notice if all of their paychecks were 6% light for a year.

How many of those are left? Seriously, in most places I’ve lived, Hispanics had completely displaced blacks as workers inside houses or back yards.

I dunno, but I do know there are a Hell of a lot more blacks east of the Mississippi.Have you ever lived east of the Mississippi?

They keep saying Whites should listen more, and talk less. Is there bus, so the spineless wretches can sit at the back? I wonder if it even occurs to these dimbulbs that the whole revenge thing really undermines the whole guilt-trip thing. The whole demanding obsequious deference from Whites thing really undermines the whole guilt about Whites who demanded deference from Blacks 100 years ago thing. If you want to effect change, "heal the world," etc., fine. If you want payback, fine. But I don't think you get to have both.

Of course, Whites who have spines, capacity for independent thought, etc., tend not to be leftist.

The last thing that is going to make me endeared to you, to know you and love you more, is if you are sitting there wagging your finger at me.

Oh, the irony. Maybe the Democrats should make that required reading? How anyone can say that and then go on to be a Democrat/leftist is beyond me.

Doesn’t make the cover any less hilarious though.

I mean has anyone seen the graphic of how diverse and disparate the ideologies of the altright are?

That's a really, really excellent question!

The short answer is, simply, that the common thread between Falangists, nationalists, libertarians and anarcho-capitalists is opposition to global socialism and globalist racial egalitarianism, which is really a form of communism. And although contemporary "soft communism" doesn't (yet) have Soviet-style gulags, it is plenty totalitarian when it comes to policing speech, disseminating propaganda, and enforcing the "proper" attitudes as a condition of employment and social status.

Libertarians and anarcho-capitalists might have plenty to bitch about under a truly alt-right nationalist government, but since no such thing really exists that's not the issue today. Libertarians can't stand getting global socialist egalitarianism and political correctness and constant hectoring about speech crimes and thought crimes crammed down their throats by the left-wing State any more than cultural/racial nationalists can stand it.

  68. In a previous era you’d be worried about the Dems disappearing as a national party. But today it’s institutionally almost impossible for third parties to emerge, and if the two-party duopoly permanently collapses to leave one-party rule then America’s pretenses to being a democracy would collapse as well. That can’t be allowed to happen. So I seem some version of the Dems coming back into some kind of power the next time the economy goes south with Republicans in charge.

I'd like to know the answer too. The verb "to check" has two meanings: [1] Keep it in check, don't overuse your privilege; [2] Check it out, be aware of your privilege -- appreciate it and make full use of it.

I don’t have to be asked to check my White privilege, I do it as part of my routine and top it off when it gets a quart low.

Sure, but that’s not the point. The point is there are only two genders, so if women are voting heavily for Democrats, Republicans can’t be competitive unless men are voting Republican by similar margins.

    • Replies: @Autochthon
Maybe this conundrum underlies the efforts to pretend there are fifteen genders (or whatever the number is today).

53% of White women seem to understand already, and I feel that number will continue to grow

Women need to be able to join a strong and secure group. That number is so low–actually–because White men have abdicated their responsibility for maintaining collective strength. That 53% will not have a meaningful behind it commitment, nor will it grow, until White men man up.

It might work the other way round.

I think the undermining of western ethnic/national consciousness was brought about by the media's use of empathy based manipulation (films like "To Kill a Mockingbird" and filtering the news) so I wonder if it wasn't more that white men "manned down" in response to female pressure. If so then if white women finally figure out they've been conned all these years by the media the pressure might reverse.

They agree to meet each other at her house for some sexy time in his Arabic Borat accent. When The Prophet Mohammad arrives at the house he is greeted by Chris Hansen from To Catch A Predator who reads the Facebook transcript of all the things The Prophet Mohammad said he wants to sexually do to the 9 year old girl, but The Prophet Mohammad denies all of this and says he only wanted to meet up with the 9 year old girl so that they can watch Aladdin together. Chris Hansen than tells him he is free to leave, only for The Prophet Mohammad to be bumrushed by FBI agents as soon as he leaves the house. While they are putting the handcuffs on him he starts yelling THIS IS RACISM, THIS IS ISLAMOPHOBIA, ALLAHU AKBAR. Than attorney Eric Holder schedules a press conference to announce he will be representing The Prophet Muhammad in his pedophilia trial because America is a nation of immigrants, Islam is a religion of peace, and I am afraid this trial will cause an increase in hate crimes against Muslims among other Left Wing talking points.

"Many young activists have spent years protesting police tactics and criminal justice policies — issues they feel too many white liberals have ignored."

To be anti-law & order and anti-rape at the same time is an oxymoron. You can't say there is a rape epidemic in America & that legally something needs to be done about it and than in the same breathe complain that the police arrest way too many Black men, when Black men are disproportionately overrepresented among men who sexually assault women.

If a war on women exists, Black men and Muslim men certainly make up a significant number of the foot soldiers. The demographics of men who are responsible for the war on women is nowhere near as lily White as The Empire villains in Star Wars Rogue One.

Feminists have not been in favor of doing anything to prevent rapes for years. They were even against the nail polish that could detect rape drugs.

  78. Someone please explain to Ms. Willis that the phrase “check your privilege” means STFU, whitey.

  79. @biz

But nowadays some blowhard creationist bumpkin in a trailer park just doesn’t seem that threatening when compared against the agents of hardcore Jihad.

The theory was that Trump gives them an excuse to stick around (and recruit disaffected Rs), which we did see somewhat, but he’s also inflaming the hell out of the SJWs and that’s got to be all to the good.

Obama won't be around to be held accountable for his irresponsible identity politics, and Hillary isn't likely to, either. Trump will have some distractions from squabbling marchers and their awomen chorus in the media, and should ride that out while focusing on matters of greater duration.

BUT. With Melania, American media can’t go full out and say: “Europeans are xenophobes” since she is…. inconveniently, a former Soviet , suppressed country citizen, snap . Also, Eu elections and “state elections” are coming up, so, calling any Europeans racist, is risky/more like never-gonna-work, will actually, backfire.

for the life of me, I don’t get this march. I have friends who are hell-bent on going to this. Only two know that I voted differently, from them; and because they are decent, they won’t rat me out.

I have a really bad feeling about this whole endeavor, as Steve does. The buzz has died for this march on my FB page. I mean January (also Gay Ski Week in Aspen at this time – so much funner!), is tough to march with women who you don’t hang-out with; who you have no connection with? If this was in Finland/Iceland/Canada there might be “vodka stations” to stay warm, and Nordics can connect with vodka; but haha, never here, in DC and not at a resort in winter.

From what I know of my friends who are gonna go to DC, they are not getting on a bus! They are still too rich for a bus.

  88. @candid_observer
I think Steve isn't quite appreciating the full significance of this story.

The point is that Trump does exist, these feminists believe he's Hitler for Women, they want desperately to protest everything he personifies, and they are still clawing each other's eyes out.

If the most reviled of a common enemy can't unite you even for a moment, how much of a megabitch must you all be?

Thing is, women–at least heterosexual women–aren’t actually in competition with men. If a woman is married to a man, then what does it matter if he makes $1 and she makes 50 cents, or if they both make 75 cents? The net income coming into the household is the same either way. Donald Trump is not a real threat to these women; worst case scenario, their sons die in war in Syria. (And if they thought their sons’ lives were actually on the line, they wouldn’t bullshit around with this race nonsense.)

Rather, women compete primarily with other women–for the most valuable resource, men (or men’s incomes.) Women can make friends with other women or work together to advance actual common interests, but all of these women (illegal immigrants excepted) actually have more to gain by competing against each other than by competing against Trump. Passive aggressive to the max; combined with poor-little-old-meism and so far the women are 1-3. It should not surprise that the only time the women won was with Laila Ali in charge. Mohammed's daughter is not passive aggressive.
While the ratings are not as good as for the final Trump season yet; and Arnold is a long way from being a leader the show is worth an hour of your time just to watch how women actually cannot work together toward any goal including things that to a man appear to be of mutual value to the women involved

As for the altright, what exactly do Falangists, people who want to bring back the Ancien Regime with Catholicism as a state religion (I.e. marine le pen or people who want to bring back the romanovs and the rest of the nrx), and libertarians or anarcho capitalists have in common anyway?

Libertarians can't stand getting global socialist egalitarianism and political correctness and constant hectoring about speech crimes and thought crimes crammed down their throats by the left-wing State any more than cultural/racial nationalists can stand it.

you have time to think. Time to define your issues.

    • Replies: @Daniel Chieh
I actually suspect its to our strength that we have no focused issues. Unlike, say, the liberal left which could focused down on a single issue such as same-sex marriages and then disband because they've accomplished their goal, the nebulous boundaries mean that the alt-right basically form a steady subgroup that is united more by a hazy set of ideas and common rejection of liberal shibboleths.

On top of it is the actual construction of a rival set of norms, spaces and culture. It looks a much stronger contender for power than say, the Religious Right or the Moral Majority ever could be.

In a previous era you'd be worried about the Dems disappearing as a national party. But today it's institutionally almost impossible for third parties to emerge, and if the two-party duopoly permanently collapses to leave one-party rule then America's pretenses to being a democracy would collapse as well. That can't be allowed to happen. So I seem some version of the Dems coming back into some kind of power the next time the economy goes south with Republicans in charge.

No. the DNC is calving. I am a prime example. I couldn’t fake smile any longer (bad for an aging face, too) and believe in the duplicitous crap fed by so-called, progressives.

Every year in London (and elsewhere for all I know) there’s a 26-mile all-night sponsored walk in aid of breast cancer research, the Moonwalk (if you want to see lots of young and not so young (exhibitionist) ladies in pink bras, it’s the place to be – I’d have thought it was dangerous, but there are a lot of them).

The attendees are 99.9% white, despite London’s demographics. Asian ladies aren’t going to walk the streets in their underwear, and I would bet there are more white men than black women walking.

My guess is that the prejudice is very limited to very specific groups who have formed such stereotypes. My wife is mostly French with only slight Irish heritage, so it might have been a Continent mindset.

I suppose if there any reality to the stereotype, though, might come from possibly some correlation of alcoholism? That always seemed to be the bane of her family.

It is fascinating to see Progs cite alt-right but have no idea what it is. The hilarious thing is, not one person I know who is not a Prog, finds the term, "alt-right," sort of nebulous or just not correct, just not the right label for them. Labels are starting to fail...and I am so happy about that. My point was, the " we all have time to think now, time to define," how we really feel about issues since HRC is out.
  111. None of this nonsense would be taken seriously if the media told the truth about the black crime problem.

The new Apprentice is arranged as an 8 person female team competing against an 8 person male team. For Diversity and inclusivity the male team has two famous homosexuals, 2 famous black athletes and a never was Jewish comedian; the female team has 2 black athletes and several famous housewives and one of the Jersey Shore girls
Watching the women’s team approach the challenges is like watching crabs in a bucket. If one of them has an idea of merit, two of the housewives start rattle-jawing over the idea till it is swamped.
Passive aggressive to the max; combined with poor-little-old-meism and so far the women are 1-3. It should not surprise that the only time the women won was with Laila Ali in charge. Mohammed’s daughter is not passive aggressive.
While the ratings are not as good as for the final Trump season yet; and Arnold is a long way from being a leader the show is worth an hour of your time just to watch how women actually cannot work together toward any goal including things that to a man appear to be of mutual value to the women involved

“I’m not even sure what they’re protesting. I thought it was something to do with Trump’s alleged behaviour toward women. But leftists didn’t seem to have any problem with Bill Clinton.”

The outrage of the left is highly selective. Meryl Streep used her podium at the Golden Globes as a pulpit to inveigh against Donald Trump. And yet, somebody dug up video of her from 2003, at the Oscars, giving a standing ovation to child-rapist Roman Polanski.

I have some Facebook friends who are so dense they not only eat all this stuff up, they don’t even notice when it changes. Orwell documented this process well, and it is horrifying, but the only way many people can learn they were wrong is by hitting bottom (that is, reaching contradictions so obvious it is no longer possible to ignore them). The people who are not capable of such learning are doomed to be ground to dust between the gears of political correctness, and I won’t shed many tears for them.

"We’ll see what happens. I’ve been reading stories about how one party or the other is dead after every major upset. 2, 4, or 6 years later they sweep back and now the other party is dead."

True. And demographic trends still favor the Democrats.

Yep. Bit by bit, it will be harder and harder for a Republican to win the presidency. Of course, before Trump, who the hell cared. The GOP was just as bad as the Dems on the only issue that matters: Immigration.

At the end of the, you could cut immigration tomorrow, and we’d still be screwed. Whites a slight minority of births. A Brazil-like future is already baked in the pie. It’s more a question of how bad it’s going to get.

"A young white woman from Baltimore wrote with bitterness that white women who might have been victims of rape and abuse"

Blacks outnumber Whites in Baltimore, so I bet the majority of White female rape victims in that city were sexually assaulted by Black men.

"were being “asked to check their privilege,”

"That phrase — check your privilege — exasperates Ms. Willis. She asked a reporter: “Can you please tell me what that means?”

White feminists are just now finding out in 2017 that when People Of Color say White privilege they are not limiting it to only White men.

Yep. Nice White Ladies thought that they would get praised by blacks for helping them. They are in for a surprise.

Nice White Ladies live in a bubble without realizing it. If that bubble is punctured, they will not be happy.

    Fun to watch.

This is the first I had heard of not having red hair being a sign of privilege. Also, what is a standard accent? What would be an example of a non standard one? They must have been desperate to fill in spaces on their bingo card.

I am pretty bald and would prefer a full head of red hair than nothing at this point!! Hey…Victim points for me, me!!

  130. @Whiskey
This is awesome, I never ever thought I'd see this -- the non-Whites actively pushing out their major power center, Nice White Ladies.

Its also hilarious to see Nice White Ladies get the treatment that I as a White man get. Its just so funny.

It was a failure of my imagination to see it, too focused on the past and expecting a linear progression rather than a discontinuous function that abruptly breaks. Think the carrying capacity of the arctic for lemmings.

Yes, Black and Latinx activists or what have you are maybe on average just one step above Vesper Lee Flanagan or THEY in the ability to avoid stupidity and venting to keep allies on side.

This is breaking out all over. OUT: Barbara Boxer, Hillary, Harry Reid (and even if they don't know it yet, Liawatha/Fauxcahontas Elizabeth Warren and Chuck Schumer). IN: Keith Ellison X, Maxine Waters, Genius T. Coates, and THEY.

Not exactly a genius assemblage. And this group will surely alienate their Nice White Lady allies just for the feelz. The ability to dominate. And that is what Democratic Politics offer at its core -- the ability of the various groups to dominate Whites. That used to be just White men, see how the Nice White Ladies like say, Megyn Kelly reflexively side with non-White activists and despise Donald Trump. [This alone explains the Cuckservative movement -- beta males which is 90% of White men attempting vainly to placate their angry women.]

Now that its White women, eventually even Megyn Kelly will be replaced by say, that actress from "Precious" or some other woman of color who is "thinly challenged." [F.A.T.]

Opportunity for fun -- register as some "person of color" and abuse Nice White Ladies for not checking their privilege and opening IRAs (Individual Reparation Accounts to pay Black people for the original sin of being born White. Or something.)

Figured that this would be right up your alley. I’ll give you credit for pointing out the Nice White Lady problem long before any of the rest of us thought about it.

However, the next big question relates to the group that you seem loathe to even acknowledge, much less criticize: Jews. Are blacks and THEY stupid enough or just unaware enough to start pushing back against liberal (most) Jews? I suppose in one sense they already are. I mean, if you start demanding positions of power in the Democratic Party, you’re going to force out a number of Jews due to their over representation at the top.

At what point do Jews, like Nice White Ladies, realize that they’re not going to get a Victim Pass from blacks and THEM, that blacks and Hispanics and the others will consider Jews as whites regardless of the clever arguments that they aren’t?

The Dems would like to keep Nice White Ladies, but the Dems NEED Jewish money, organization and influence. Lose the Jews and it’s over for the Dems. At what point do Jews start fearing real blacks and Hispanics more than mystical Nazis?

  131. @BenKenobi
This is delicious. And it's happening to the most deserving people: Nice White Ladies.

I thought we were all supposed to be buddies here at The End of History. But no, it's all "back-of-the-bus, Whitey."

I hope they continue to alienate their White "Allies" -- we're not polarized enough yet. 53% of White women seem to understand already, and I feel that number will continue to grow

Continue to alienate their white “allies” – You mean, like the below:

Is discrimination against red heads real? Are red heads really less privileged?

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_hair#Prejudice_and_discrimination_against_redheads

Evidently yes. Weird as heck, to me. My wife, who is French-Irish herself, told me that she hoped gingers will be extinct soon: “They are crazy. They are angry-crazy. Something is wrong with them.” Then she referred to the black sheep sister of her family as proof.

  133. The convoluted language of the left is used to facilitate a convoluted logic, so dissecting these articles is like shooting ducks in a barrel. Still, it’s fun to read.

As to the privilege bingo, “Not a red-head” ? What’s with that?

And speaking of negative qualifiers, I notice they don’t use a “not a ____” approach in any of the other bingo squares because it would illustrate all of the common ways that status is lowered for white people. For example, they say, “standard accent” instead of:

    – not a Southern accent
    – not a Queens or Bronx accent
    – not a Boston accent
    – not a Chicago (Great Lakes) accent (

    )

They say “Christian,” but don’t say:

    – not a Catholic (less debilitating to status than it used to be)
    – not a Southern evangelical (far more debilitating to status than it used to be)
    – not Eastern Orthodox

    They also don’t say:

    – not a farmer
    – not from a town of less than 10,000 people
    – not from Appalachia
    – not a coal miner

    …and so on.

  134. @Mr. Anon

Sure, but that's not the point. The point is there are only two genders, so if women are voting heavily for Democrats, Republicans can't be competitive unless men are voting Republican by similar margins.

Maybe this conundrum underlies the efforts to pretend there are fifteen genders (or whatever the number is today).

Fake stereotype much (creationist, bumpkin, trailer)? Geez can you not be more original than that. Do you even know one person who believes in God?

If what you say will happen you’ll just be back to having two liberal parties.

There are tweets and articles showing that Rick Wilson, Jennifer Rubin, and Evan McMullin for example were already bashing The GOP as The White Party long before Donald J. Trump officially announced he was running for POTUS.

As absurd as it may be for the New York Times to have as its house conservative David Brooks, the Washington Post does them one better with Jennifer Rubin. But the “alt-right” is no more unified than the left.

So far, however, it doesn’t get expressed, except in the comment sections of alt-right blogs.

I have spent summers in Canada for 60+ years and I remember it as a nice white country that was proud to be part of the British Commonwealth. The decline started when Lester Pearson changed the flag to that awful maple leaf; my grandfather called it "Pearson's pennant".

It looks a much stronger contender for power than say, the Religious Right or the Moral Majority ever could be.

exactly, and I agree. It is better to be a large group of people with wildly different views (like on this blog), who like to throw ideas around, challenge each other, for example, than let “progressives” define who we are. It is fascinating to see Progs cite alt-right but have no idea what it is. The hilarious thing is, not one person I know who is not a Prog, finds the term, “alt-right,” sort of nebulous or just not correct, just not the right label for them. Labels are starting to fail…and I am so happy about that. My point was, the “ we all have time to think now, time to define,” how we really feel about issues since HRC is out.

As for the altright, what exactly do Falangists, people who want to bring back the Ancien Regime with Catholicism as a state religion (I.e. marine le pen or people who want to bring back the romanovs and the rest of the nrx), and libertarians or anarcho capitalists have in common anyway?

The short answer is, simply, that the common thread between Falangists, nationalists, libertarians and anarcho-capitalists is opposition to global socialism and globalist racial egalitarianism, which is really a form of communism.

Where does that leave those of us who see global capitalism as an equally menacing threat?

Not me. I would prefer separate countries for each nationality/race/ethnic group. Doesn't mean I hate other groups; I just prefer my own.

I hate white SJWs, but, in the end, they are family. Black conservatives are not.

Besides, there's regression to the mean. Sooner or later, the children, nieces, nephews and so on of black conservatives will regress to black means in intelligence and violence.

We're all happier living among our own. It's natural, not hateful. I wish blacks well. I just don't want to live with them.

Not me. I would prefer separate countries for each nationality/race/ethnic group. Doesn’t mean I hate other groups; I just prefer my own.

I agree with that. The ideal would be separate countries for each nationality/race/ethnic group, and a separate country for SJWs.

I sure as hell don’t want any SJWs at all in my country. None. The incompatibility between SJWs and normal people is more extreme than the incompatibilities between races. Put SJWs in their own country and build a really really big wall along the border.

I think the undermining of western ethnic/national consciousness was brought about by the media's use of empathy based manipulation (films like "To Kill a Mockingbird" and filtering the news) so I wonder if it wasn't more that white men "manned down" in response to female pressure. If so then if white women finally figure out they've been conned all these years by the media the pressure might reverse.

if white women finally figure out they’ve been conned all these years by the media the pressure might reverse.

It already did about ten years ago. It’s why the red pill stuff arose – men figuring out that women weren’t interested in suckers anymore.

"We’ll see what happens. I’ve been reading stories about how one party or the other is dead after every major upset. 2, 4, or 6 years later they sweep back and now the other party is dead."

True. And demographic trends still favor the Democrats.

True. And demographic trends still favor the Democrats.

In the short- and possibly medium-term. Long-term points to a fundamental change in the country’s politics.

I hope she's never coming to Canada because that's where I live.

We already have a sufficient stock of leftist loons, thanks just the same.

Mind you, our prime minister (Justin Trudeau) is a fool.

I fully expect that if Trump does start deporting people, there will be a mad stampede to the Canadian border, saying they are "refugees" from the horrors of Trump-land.

And I can just imagine Trudeau buying it. Or if he doesn't, they might try an illegal crossing.

I have spent summers in Canada for 60+ years and I remember it as a nice white country that was proud to be part of the British Commonwealth. The decline started when Lester Pearson changed the flag to that awful maple leaf; my grandfather called it “Pearson’s pennant”. Trudeau the Elder accelerated the decline with his lefty multi-culturalism. I thought he was a ruthless bastard, but I think even he would be amazed at what an empty-headed pretty boy moron his son Justin is. He makes BHO look good.

I would imagine if this comes to pass – let’s say a significant number of relatively affluent, educated, and not very religious whites (and Asians) drifts toward the Republican coalition – the Republicans will become less overtly religious, and maybe less overtly hostile to environmentalism.

The Republicans will eventually become even more indistinguishable from the Democrats. That's not a victory.

So the only two issues that matter are church/state and rapacious resource extraction?

Immigration, welfare, entitlements, education – all insignificant?

If “a significant number of relatively affluent, educated, and not very religious whites (and Asians) drifts toward the Republican coalition” then those new “republican” voters aren’t going to give a damn about immigration. And their views on welfare, entitlements and education will be identical to the Democrat position.

What you’re talking about is trying to attract liberals to the Republican Party. Liberals will never abandon their liberalism. Attracting liberals to the Republican Party will simply turn the Republican Party into another liberal party. It’s one of the most wrong-headed misguided ideas I’ve ever heard.

For what it is worth, I'm an Asian and I give a damn about immigration. My ideas on welfare and entitlements are also not identical the average Democratic position.

While I was the child of immigrants, they came in legally after numerous hurdles. They also did not take advantage of the system, and didn't get any benefits from it. Nonetheless, they managed to be successful enough that when I went to college, I couldn't have benefitted from any subsidies.

I also was excluded from any minority programs for some reason, as they strictly defined it as "black, women, Hispanic, etc"; I remember finding it strange because there are fewer Asians than Hispanics, but Hispanics were protected.

Probably the last straw was the fact that my brother with a perfect GPA was intentionally targeted and ultimately destroyed from his career by a "diverse" student association of Vietnamese and black women, for basically no reason, other than that he would have taken a quota spot away from them.

I've had some unpleasant experiences with whites and racism, certainly. I mean, at one point I was pretty annoyed at the "what country are you from" questions and being called "sonny" a lot. But it never went as far as the vehemence that some of the Coalition of the Fringes would inflict.

Some of those "racist" white men were genuinely pleasant and gentle souls - I remember one, a boss, trying to explain to me the importance of being a servant to the Lord even in his management style, and often basically picking up after us because it was the right thing to do, as he felt it. He was a poor fit in technology, a poor fit for this modern world, and ultimately couldn't survive the daily backstabbing of corporate life. But he was, despite anything else, a good person.

Those of the Coalition of the Fringes that I knew? Good person is never a word I could use for them. They were screeching, entitled, and always angry. Whatever little privilege the old white men I knew had, they often had a strong sense of obligation and responsibility as well. Responsibility and SJWs are never aligned.

Agreed. That's the core of most SJW beliefs - no member of a victim group can ever be at fault. If a woman does something stupid it's the fault of men. If a black commits a crime it's the fault of white men. If a homosexual gets some horrible disease as a result of his promiscuous lifestyle it's the fault of homophobia.
