From The Guardian:

Muslims and LGBTQ people should stand together, not fight each other

Owen Jones
Don’t let the Birmingham school protests perpetuate divisions when a common enemy – the far right – is once again looming

Thu 11 Apr 2019

Watching angry protesters waving placards outside a Birmingham primary school brought it all back for Khakan Qureshi. A softly spoken gay Muslim in his early 40s, he vividly remembers Margaret Thatcher denouncing the fact that children were being taught they “have an inalienable right to be gay” and introducing section 28 – the toxic product of Tory homophobia and a hysterical media moral panic – to prevent the so-called promotion of homosexuality in schools. Now, in 2019, picketers – mostly, but not exclusively, from a Muslim background – are demanding that schools cease their LGBTQ-inclusive education. “I feel sad that I had to experience all that sort of mental angst all those years, being bullied, being picked on, being mocked,” he told me. “I just think that children should be allowed to be who they are, let us be who we are, let Muslims be who they are.”

Like other LGBTQ people who went to school before the repeal of section 28 in 2003, I too grew up in its shadow: I was never taught about LGBTQ issues, except when a teacher told a class that anal sex was bad for your health.

When everybody knows that the AIDS Epidemic was actually caused by Nancy Reagan.

The damage inflicted on LGBTQ people was incalculable: hearing homophobic language casually thrown around in the playground, absorbing the homophobia peddled by much of the media, fearful of rejection from family and friends, and no one to tell you you’re not alone, that there’s nothing wrong with you. …

The dangerous conclusion to draw from this saga is that Muslims and LGBTQ people are on a collision course. … But in truth, LGBTQ people and Muslims should be allies: above all, because we share many of the same experiences and enemies. …

In Muslim cultures, homosexual relationships are very common among young unmarried men. Many men continue to have gay encounters even after getting married. There's actually wide tolerance of this behavior.

The vast majority of gay men can have children just fine. If they would follow traditional Christian teaching their kids can even have a mom instead of a step-dad.

This paragraph is a whirlpool of WokeLogic:

The dangerous conclusion to draw from this saga is that Muslims and LGBTQ people are on a collision course. That is certainly the battle cry of ever more emboldened Islamophobes, who never talk of LGBTQ rights except when it becomes convenient artillery in their bigoted war on Muslims. If you only talk of LGBTQ rights to attack Muslims then you do not care about those rights: and for those of us who have been attacked by homophobic far-right activists in the streets but have never endured homophobia from Muslims, there is a perverse irony at work. In any case, we are not talking about two discrete groups: some Muslims are gay or trans, and vice versa. But in truth, LGBTQ people and Muslims should be allies: above all, because we share many of the same experiences and enemies.

‘In any case . . .’ and ‘But in truth . . .’ are being abused in a way innocent throwaway phrases should never be asked to endure.

But hey, at least the Guardian managed to use the correct form of ‘discrete’.

I never invoke sodomite rights, and I only defend Muslims when they target sodomites. Vigorous hatred of sodomites is actually the one redeeming aspect of their culture, and it is hateful to want to change it. Check mate, bigot.

Well amid all the lies, one tiny little streak of truth sneaks in.

Never allies and not the same experiences, but indeed they have the same enemy: the normal, healthy Britons who wanttheir civilization to continue in the land their ancestors have had for thousands of years.

Actually, AIDS had more to do with rimming than anal sex proper. BTW, AIDS was originally known as “GRIDS” or “Gay Related Immune Deficiency Syndrome”, because it was so strongly identified with homosexuals:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gay-related_immune_deficiency

Gay-related immune deficiency (GRID) was the original name for a disease currently known as AIDS. GRID was first mentioned in a May 11, 1982 article in The New York Times.[1] In this article, the term “A.I.D.” (Acquired Immunodeficiency Disease) is also mentioned. In the early days of AIDS (i.e., 1982–1985), the terms “gay cancer” and “gay plague” were also used.[2][3][4]

AIDS had more to do with rimming than anal sex proper

I'm not even going to ask.
    , @Anonymous
BBC TV science fiction comedy 'Red Dwarf' had a character named 'Rimmer' - which is actually an old Lancashire surname - for obvious comedic value.

Likewise that 1968 Peter Cook opus ' The Rise of Michael Rimmer', which was rather tartly aimed at David Frost, whom Cook also dubbed 'The Bubonic Plagiarist'.

Likely, back in the day, the vast majority of the audience never quite got the joke.
    , @TheMediumIsTheMassage
Erm, no. "Rimming" (which is, to put it bluntly, eating ass) has zero risk of HIV transmission, whereas anal sex has the highest risk. The majority of modern day HIV diagnoses in Western countries come from unprotected anal sex, for the same reason teenage pregnancies are a thing: people do stupid things when they're horny.

Also, 'GRIDS' is completely outdated since nowadays the majority of people with HIV are heterosexual (thanks, Africa!).
    , @Smithsonian
Really? I always thought that AIDS stood for Arse Injected Death Sentence.

    The more you know....
    , @AnotherDad

Actually, AIDS had more to do with rimming than anal sex proper.

    Stop.

Besides being flat out wrong, the bottom line is simple: homosexual un-natural acts spread disease. This was true involving all the other venereal diseases before HIV/AIDS and will still be true if medical science comes up with some magic bullet cure for it.

There's a place nature has designed to accomodate an engorged penis--God be praised!

Well, I don’t know why modern Muslims are so homophobic. The history of homosexuality in the Islamic world is very rich. Some important characters in Islamic history were homos.

My favorite Muslim sodomite is Mehmet, the conqueror of Constantinople. His biography is fascinating, because it also involves Vlad Dracula.

Mehmet was an insatiable sodomite, and fell in love with Dracula’s brother, Radu.

Unfortunately, unlike nowadays, homophobia was very strong among all Christian societies at the time. Therefore, some say that Dracula was obsessed with impaling the Ottomans, to try to recover some of the family lost honor, since Mehmet loved to impale Radu.

When I think back to my own school years, I recall no homophobic taunting on the playground until high school. and then, it was always directed towards a few of the boys who were truly gay (and not trying to hide anything). There were a few other boys who came out after HS who had never exhibited any tendencies, and AFAIK endured no such slights.

Yeah, there's a lot of homosexuality is Muslim culture. I gather that what appears to modern Westerners as cognitive dissonance or hypocrisy—condemning homosexuality theologically while engaging in it by custom—has to do with the distinction between penetrating and being penetrated, the former not being considered "homo" by Muslims while the role of the latter is often supplied by some kind underclass, eg., servants/slaves, children (bacha bazis), feminine-/modern-style homosexuals, etc.

Naturally, the establishment we're-all-equal-kumbaya media has every interest in obscuring these distinctions as much as possible.

As you read this article, you can smell hot oil as the Guardian's Narrative Maintenance Processing Unit whines in overload.

'In any case . . .' and 'But in truth . . .' are being abused in a way innocent throwaway phrases should never be asked to endure.

But hey, at least the Guardian managed to use the correct form of 'discrete'.

I never invoke sodomite rights, and I only defend Muslims when they target sodomites. Vigorous hatred of sodomites is actually the one redeeming aspect of their culture, and it is hateful to want to change it. Check mate, bigot.

In Muslim cultures, homosexual relationships are very common among young unmarried men. Many men continue to have gay encounters even after getting married. There's actually wide tolerance of this behavior.

Yeah, there’s a lot of homosexuality is Muslim culture. I gather that what appears to modern Westerners as cognitive dissonance or hypocrisy—condemning homosexuality theologically while engaging in it by custom—has to do with the distinction between penetrating and being penetrated, the former not being considered “homo” by Muslims while the role of the latter is often supplied by some kind underclass, eg., servants/slaves, children (bacha bazis), feminine-/modern-style homosexuals, etc.

Naturally, the establishment we’re-all-equal-kumbaya media has every interest in obscuring these distinctions as much as possible.

Look, it's a different civilization - they have their own ways. In Iran there is also the institution of "temporary marriage" - it's a form of kosher prostitution because you marry the woman for the day (or hour). Then there's female circumcision. On and on. It's just a different way of looking at the world, rooted in different scriptures, different philosophies, different views of the structure of society, of the proper role of men and women, of crime and punishment and so on.

In the past, these sort of things were considered sociological curiosities that you only read about in books. Islamic civilization was partitioned off from the West - each was considered mutually incompatible with the other (as was Asian civilization - death of 1,000 cuts and all that) but now through the wonders of immigration we can experience the joys of Islamic culture right in our own neighborhoods.

Folau said on Wednesday that “hell awaits” homosexuals in comments that have resulted in Rugby Australia stating they plan to terminate his contract.

In an apparent show of support to his fellow Christian, Vunipola has declared in his own Instagram post that “Man was made for woman to pro create that was the goal no?”

    However, England’s No 8 added: “I don’t HATE anyone”.

Vunipola could face disciplinary action from the Rugby Football Union in response to the anti-gay position outlined in his post.”

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/2019/04/12/billy-vunipola-shows-support-israel-folaus-anti-gay-stance-risks/

Rugby adminstrators really are dopey idiots. They’ve piled all in on the gay inclusivity thing and it seems not one of them stopped to think that up to 25% of their professional player base are pretty hardcore Christians. Exiled South African Afrikaaners and Pacific Islanders are pretty much the core of all the northern hemisphere professional leagues.

It’s pretty clear that Folau is in breach of his employment contract, but I don’t think that’s going to save the Australian Rugby Union from a big backlash from the PI communities if they shitcan him. The rival Rugby League has said they won’t have him too. It all begins to look very unsightly.

And now other players are piling in behind him. Folau and Vunipola are not insignificant players either. They are both probably top 10 ranking players in the world. Popcorn time if this escalates.

I used to see Jones kicking around north-east London all the time. He's not shy of getting out and having a drink. As a horny-handed son of northern toil and champion of workers' rights his favourite restaurant seems to be Frederick's in Islington: https://fredericks.co.uk/

North London does have a problem with roving gangs of violent homophobic men, and I imagine Jones was subjected to this coming out of his favourite gay club the Dalston Superstore like these poor fellows were: https://attitude.co.uk/article/nine-men-jailed-for-homophobic-acid-attack-near-dalston-superstore-in-london-1/20084/

The problem with Jones is this (and it is a pretty big problem): he sort of has the sinister psychological profile of a Beria. He almost certainly has a list (Andrew Neil is probably at the top) of people he is going to sort out once Magic Grandpa Corbyn takes his rightful place as Prime Commissar.

Then Owen is going to go to work.

So you mean he’s just another Commie? The whole “gay” thing is just another demonstration of how once someone starts down the road of non-conformity, there’s just no end in sight.

Wait, I know, maybe he’s short. Perhaps it wasn’t “gay-shaming”, but “short-shaming” that he was really enduring.

No female was ever the recipient of any such taunts.

Mehmet was an insatiable sodomite, and fell in love with Dracula's brother, Radu.

Unfortunately, unlike nowadays, homophobia was very strong among all Christian societies at the time. Therefore, some say that Dracula was obsessed with impaling the Ottomans, to try to recover some of the family lost honor, since Mehmet loved to impale Radu.

Erm, no. “Rimming” (which is, to put it bluntly, eating ass) has zero risk of HIV transmission, whereas anal sex has the highest risk. The majority of modern day HIV diagnoses in Western countries come from unprotected anal sex, for the same reason teenage pregnancies are a thing: people do stupid things when they’re horny.

Most white nationalists seem to vehemently reject the idea that gays should be treated any better than the average person thinks pedophiles should be treated. I propose a compromise whereby gays cut down on most of their degeneracy and put the interests of their people above the interests of their pee-pees. The concept of a circular firing squad assumes that the people on that squad have no serious disagreements. Coalitions are nothing of the kind. It's just a different way of looking at the world, rooted in different scriptures, different philosophies, different views of the structure of society, of the proper role of men and women, of crime and punishment and so on.

Dismemberment of one kind or another either via multiple horses/chariots or dragging was practiced in Europe up to the late 18th century, so some of these exotic punishments aren’t so much exotic as universal. The expression “there is nothing new under the sun” comes to mind.

The concept of a circular firing squad assumes that the people on that squad have no serious disagreements. Coalitions are nothing of the kind. They’re temporary accommodations created by parties with distinct and opposing goals at the spur of the moment to combat some greater common threat. It’s as natural as the cycling of the seasons that coalition members should fall out and fight each other.

Most white nationalists seem to vehemently reject the idea that gays should be treated any better than the average person thinks pedophiles should be treated. This seems rather insane to me because gays tend to have surplus time and money which any group could benefit from. I propose a compromise whereby gays cut down on most of their degeneracy and put the interests of their people above the interests of their pee-pees. Where do you get this?

I don't claim my opinion is representative, because i don't think there is a "representative" opinion.

But mine boils down to "this ain't no way to run a railroad". Meaning simply you can't preserve a civilization unless you're willing to understand and do what preserving it requires, which includes what reproducing it requires. I've got no problem with homosexuals going and being who they are. But the sort of "equality" crap they've insisted on the last 30 or so is simply incompatible with running a healthy civilization.

A healthy civilization understands basic math and logic, ergo the absolute primacy of stable male-female union--marriage. Undertanding that then it can tolerate a bit of non-violent weirdness from the malformed. No need to pitch 'em off rooftops, nor even keep 'em in the closet. But it can't put a premium on their feelings, pander to their demands, nor pretend in any way shape or form that they aren't malformed, are normal.
    , @dfordoom

I propose a compromise whereby gays cut down on most of their degeneracy and put the interests of their people above the interests of their pee-pees.

Homosexuals currently control our society. Why would they accept such a compromise? They have won every single battle in the culture war and they know they're going to keep on winning. They are our rulers. Society bows down and worships them. They are given pretty much free rein to indulge their tastes in the most extreme form in the certain knowledge that they are above the law.

And what on earth makes you think homosexuals have the slightest interest in saving western civilisation? They have worked very very hard to turn the western world into a gigantic homosexual brothel. And as far as they are concerned their people means fellow homosexuals.

The LGBT lobby is not going to accept any compromises. They have become steadily more extreme year by year and there is no reason to think that they won't continue to move in more and more extreme directions.

  86. This story concerning the all-Muslim Birmingham school where the parents protested against “gay” education by keeping their children at home, and GETTING THEIR WAY, is huge. Sargon of Akkad nailed it when he rhetorically asked why the Guardian was not calling the parents “homophobes” and bigots. I would add, why haven’t the police launched an investigation into possible anti-gay hate crimes? When are the ringleaders going to be “outed” and harassed on social media? When is Owen Jones going to lead a protest outside the school gates?

Of course the Establishment media is acutely embarrassed by the situation and so they won’t cover it very much, but it is a massive win for anyone on the race realist Right. Muslims 1 : Homosexual Lobby 0. But the result was never in doubt. Muslims will go all the way to defend their faith. So there is no doubt that the parents involved would have been prepared to pay a fine or even go to jail. Queer worship, and libtardism in general, is just a weird and transient fad that does not have a constituency with any real conviction and certainly has no “muscle” to back it up. As you read this article, you can smell hot oil as the Guardian's Narrative Maintenance Processing Unit whines in overload.

'In any case . . .' and 'But in truth . . .' are being abused in a way innocent throwaway phrases should never be asked to endure.

But hey, at least the Guardian managed to use the correct form of 'discrete'.

But in truth, LGBTQ people and Muslims should be allies: above all, because we share many of the same experiences and enemies.

Well amid all the lies, one tiny little streak of truth sneaks in.

Never allies and not the same experiences, but indeed they have the same enemy: the normal, healthy Britons who wanttheir civilization to continue in the land their ancestors have had for thousands of years.

Given the choice of the form without the function or the function without the form, many would in fact choose the latter. There are worse fates than living like Shakers with loving children and grandchildren.

Ah, again 'gays are molesters'. Yes, you are stuck with having gay men around, perhaps your son will be one. I hope you have the empathy to treat him like a human being.

My friend, you have just fulfilled one of my dearest wishes: to be mistaken for a straight guy!

In return, white nationalists should extend a modest amount of tolerance to gays - less than what current political correctness dictates, but more than what was offered to gays 30 years ago.

Most white nationalists seem to vehemently reject the idea that gays should be treated any better than the average person thinks pedophiles should be treated.

    Where do you get this?

I don’t claim my opinion is representative, because i don’t think there is a “representative” opinion.

But mine boils down to “this ain’t no way to run a railroad”. Meaning simply you can’t preserve a civilization unless you’re willing to understand and do what preserving it requires, which includes what reproducing it requires. I’ve got no problem with homosexuals going and being who they are. But the sort of “equality” crap they’ve insisted on the last 30 or so is simply incompatible with running a healthy civilization.

A healthy civilization understands basic math and logic, ergo the absolute primacy of stable male-female union–marriage. Undertanding that then it can tolerate a bit of non-violent weirdness from the malformed. No need to pitch ’em off rooftops, nor even keep ’em in the closet. But it can’t put a premium on their feelings, pander to their demands, nor pretend in any way shape or form that they aren’t malformed, are normal.

Fifty, a hundred years ago all educated or at least somewhat intelligent adults knew there were homosexuals. There always were and always will be. They are a tiny percent of the population. Civilized adults just left them alone and they were at least discreet around children, bluenoses and the like.

But they did not run society. We did not reorder our whole society around them.

Certain businesses did not hire them, churches and schools did not allow them positions of authority or responsibility, but they did okay. Kids could grow up without having any knowledge of homosexual sex. Under the principle of free association, one could choose to associate with them as much as or as little as desired, just as they could choose to associate exclusively with other homosexuals, which was possible in places where they congregated like New York, coastal California, and in little enclaves in places like Savannah, Georgia.

If someone is gay, well and fine, but they do not have a right to impose themselves on people who do not want to deal with them. A business should have the right to not bake cakes for anyone for any reason. There are Jewish businesses in New York that don't want goyim in the place, there are black businesses in many city that do not cater to whites, there are gay businesses that don't want straights or members of the wrong sex in the place. That is their right.

Free association is the first, most basic, and most important civil right. What we have is an environment where fringe people have that right but core Americans do not. You can have an all-gay firm but not an all-straight firm. You can have an all-black club but not an all-white one. Muslims and Jews can have businesses that only deal with their own but Christians can not.

Dismemberment of one kind or another either via multiple horses/chariots or dragging was practiced in Europe up to the late 18th century, so some of these exotic punishments aren't so much exotic as universal. The expression "there is nothing new under the sun" comes to mind.

The rack was a mechanised version of this. Using a machine to pull people apart instead of horses or bovines.

This story concerning the all-Muslim Birmingham school where the parents protested against "gay" education by keeping their children at home, and GETTING THEIR WAY, is huge. Sargon of Akkad nailed it when he rhetorically asked why the Guardian was not calling the parents "homophobes" and bigots. I would add, why haven't the police launched an investigation into possible anti-gay hate crimes? When are the ringleaders going to be "outed" and harassed on social media? When is Owen Jones going to lead a protest outside the school gates?

Of course the Establishment media is acutely embarrassed by the situation and so they won't cover it very much, but it is a massive win for anyone on the race realist Right. Muslims 1 : Homosexual Lobby 0. But the result was never in doubt. Muslims will go all the way to defend their faith. So there is no doubt that the parents involved would have been prepared to pay a fine or even go to jail. Queer worship, and libtardism in general, is just a weird and transient fad that does not have a constituency with any real conviction and certainly has no "muscle" to back it up. As Nick Griffin once said, the future is either Islamic or Authoritarian Right, there is no option that is kumbaya liberal.

I remember following this story on a lefty forum. The general consensus by the end of it was that (anonymous, hidden) fundamentalist Christians had put the Muslims up to this.

  108. What Owen Jones is really afraid of, and he’s very afraid indeed, is that social conservatives and Muslims will one day realise that they really are natural allies. They really do have a common enemy in liberalism (and LGBT activism and especially feminism).

Fortunately for Owen Jones white social conservatives are much too dumb ever to take advantage of the opportunity.

I never invoke sodomite rights, and I only defend Muslims when they target sodomites. Vigorous hatred of sodomites is actually the one redeeming aspect of their culture, and it is hateful to want to change it. Check mate, bigot.

    Look, it’s a different civilization …

    Exactly.

European explorers, colonizers, even most missionaries as they ventured out upon the world, learned that it was full of difference. And up to less than a hundred years ago understood that–“different people”, “different civilization”.

These good-whites that we have today seem to–at least most of them–honestly believe that inside every foreigner there is a a … *white liberal* just waiting to pop out.

Interesting. I remember the old war movie “Play Dirty” had two overtly homo Arab characters.

Homosexuals currently control our society. Why would they accept such a compromise? They have won every single battle in the culture war and they know they’re going to keep on winning.

They have become steadily more extreme year by year and there is no reason to think that they won’t continue to move in more and more extreme directions.

I've never seen a nun in a traditional habit publicly whipped with a stick by a priest or Swiss Guard, but in Saudi I saw too often women wearing hajibs being violently beaten in public with sticks, fists or kicks (it was at least once a week, usually more) by the mutawa. Human beings are more than our base desires. At least those who have been raised well above them or grown up out of them.

That’s not the end of the world nor having monumental power over you or whatever your delusion is telling you.
