From my new column in Taki’s Magazine:

Appeal to Authority
by Steve Sailer

October 30, 2019

The Carolina Panthers’ speedy running back Christian McCaffrey, who is second in the NFL with 105 yards rushing per game, is bidding to become the first white player to lead the NFL in rushing since Jim Taylor of the legendary 1962 Green Bay Packers 57 years ago.

McCaffrey’s 2019 performance shouldn’t be surprising. He was third in the NFL last year in combined yards from scrimmage with 1,098 rushing and 867 receiving, while at Stanford he was runner-up for the 2015 Heisman Trophy.

Despite McCaffrey’s fame, this year’s Madden videogame depicted him as black. After all, game-breaking NFL backs (McCaffrey has scored ten touchdowns in his first seven games) are virtually never white.

His witty mom, Lisa, tweeted in response to her son:

Sorry you had to find out this way. @87ed may not be your real dad.

@87ed is Christian’s real dad, Ed McCaffrey, an All-American wide receiver at Stanford, whose superior speed helped extinguish the football career of a more plodding Stanford recruit, presidential candidate Cory Booker. …

Christian’s speed wasn’t inherited just through his father’s bloodline. His mother was a star soccer player at Stanford.

And her father, the late ophthalmological surgeon Dr. Dave Sime, was the last white American to medal in the Olympic 100-meter dash, the race to determine the world’s fastest man. …

So Christian’s speed shouldn’t come as a surprise. As his mother joked to Sports Illustrated in 1998:

“That’s why Ed and I got together. So we could breed fast white guys.”

There’s nothing terribly controversial about suggesting that hereditary genetics play a role in Christian McCaffrey’s football success. …

But, in the Current Year, many people suffer the kind of brain shutdown that Orwell called “crimestop” when it is suggested that some of the same hereditary reasons the McCaffreys and Dibabas are fast might also help explain why, on average, blacks tend to run quicker than whites.

Read the whole thing there.

Essays like this one reflect the common assumption that the reality of racial differences must be covered up from the public to prevent mass violence.
In reality, however, most everybody who watches sports on television has already noticed the obviousness of racial diversity in genetic propensities and, rather than going out and waging genocide, has instead gone to the fridge and gotten another beer.

Both PC pushers and Sailer are wrong.

In truth, the common assumption need be that the reality of racial differences must be exposed to the public to prevent mass violence.

    Too many blacks = ultra-violence.

Blacks are 13% of US population but the biggest source of mayhem of all kinds because blacks are more muscular and more aggressive. White kids get beat up in school. White Flight was like underground railroad for whites fleeing from biological slavery under blacks. South African whites have been slaughtered and face genocide.

Too prevent horrific South African conditions, whites must become aware of racial differences in order to prevent black attack on whites and white backlash against blacks(to ensure white survival).

Race-ism saves lives because it will prevent the Africanization of the West. Bringing blacks to the New World was the biggest mistake of the white race. Look at the horrible violence in Rio in Brazil and Baltimore in US.

White guys may grab beers to watch sports but often in white communities separated from too many blacks. As for whites who cannot flee blacks, they either get beaten or cuck out as ‘whiggaz’ and white girls give into jungle fever and their wombs are Afro-colonized.

Anti-race-ism will be the greatest crime by turning whites into deer in the headlights of the black invasion of the West. West rebounded from the Bubonic plague, Napoleonic Wars, WWI, WWII, and communism but it will never survive the Africanization of the West. Race-ism can prevent this by alerting whites that the blacks are the anti-civilizational race. And white guys who drink beer to black sports are cucky-wucks who delight in blacks kicking white guys’s butts and taking white women as prizes.

Gotta go now, but this column already started off interesting, from your excerpt. I look forward to reading the rest. I hope you didn’t go opening one of those cans of worms again now …

    * I haven’t seen the initials used very much here lately. On your old site, I’d seen the term for about a whole year before someone finally let me know what it meant – Human Bio-Diversity. Diversity is our strength, so I didn’t see a problem with the term, personally.

Christian’s mother’s eugenic experiment to create “fast white guys” is unconscionable, evil and Nazi-esque.

Shame on her and her Nazi agenda.

As we all know, the only appropriate way for a white country to influence reproduction is to suppress the fertility of its endogenous middle class by importing waves of mass Third World immigrants who raise housing costs and suppress wages, making it impractical for them to have children. It’s also helpful to saddle their young women with six figure student loan debts after receiving 8 years of anti-natalist feminist propaganda, I mean, “education.” Furthermore, subjecting them to mass media promoting miscegenation will ensure that if they do possibly breed, they’ll have non-white children.

I support this policy in all white countries, except Israel. Only an anti-Semitic, genocidal maniac would propose otherwise.

Housing is expensive in Israel. Land is dear.

On the college debt front, I helped my wife finish college. At Vaughn, an aviation college at LaGuardia. 15 years ago that was relatively cheap. Now she’s an airport planner. You take humanities stuff but mostly aviation.

Was about $8k a year after aid. People need to find a practical skill they love. We use to fall asleep listening to live streams from the controller tower and she watches every air disaster show/news. She’s worked for Jet Blue, Port Authority and FAA. Money well spent but most college doesn’t have value added.
  6. As his father Ed had done to Booker, Christian relegated a more famous name to the bench at Stanford, starting in front of Barry Sanders Jr.

Barry Sanders Jr. was born out of wedlock. A few years before his birth, Barry Sanders Sr. stated that he did not approve of premarital sex and was celibate.

Joe Clark is famous as the strict principal in the the movie Lean on Me. His two daughters and his daughter-in-law all three ran in the 800m event at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and his son was their coach. When they were growing up, Clark had instisted that his children run middle-distance instead of “stereotypical” sprints. He supervised dawn training sessions that often left his children in tears or worse.

In the early 90's it became (briefly) fashionable to be moral. There was a trend of people saying they would not have sex until marriage. One of them was Barry Sanders. About a year after Sanders made the statement, he got a woman pregnant out of wedlock.

Chinese don't need to bother with that. They just need to hire Sailer as coach. Sailer said something to Jared Diamond that made him run like a mothafuc*a. So, all Sailer has to do is go to China, whisper some HBD into the ears of Chinese runners, and see them run like mofongs.

    It is amusing.

What's even more amusing is the Senator Elizabeth Warren, the famous fake Indian, was descended from an even more famous Indian fighter Jonathan Crawford who killed Seminoles with Major William Lauderdale at the Battle of Loxahatchie River 1/24/1838 and at the Battle of Pine Island on 3/22/1838. The first battle was near present day Jupiter FL and the second in present day Fort Lauderdale.
  12. OK, I just read this one. It’s one of your best, Steve, and even with that quick wrap-it-up humorous conclusion. Here’s my favorite part:

Actually, the sample size is fairly close to every man on earth. By age 12, 99 percent of boys know some other boy who is a faster runner than them. The 1 percent who don’t keep competing at running until they meet somebody they can’t ever beat. This process goes on and on until, finally, there are eight black guys lined up in the Olympic 100-meter dash final. The gun goes off, and a little under ten seconds later Usain Bolt wins and goes on to make $100 million in endorsements.

Great writing there. Do you really think these tweeters are so stupid as to misinterpret you and others that you are trying to relate skin color directly to running speed, or do you think they are just trying to turn this wrong interpretation into a way to slander you?

From your excerpt of one of these twits, I read:

A small number of researchers, mostly well outside of the scientific mainstream, have seized upon some of the new findings and methods in human genetics, and are part of a social-media cottage-industry…

I realize that San Fernando valley real estate has gotten pretty high, Steve, but is this all true, that you live in a cottage? Let me put it this way: Would a real estate agent advertise your place as “cozy”? OK, … just … is your front door rounded at the top in a big semi-circle to where a hobbit could just barely not bump his head? Does your wife make cheese at home?

Many Southerners have those blood lines and the German and Irish and Scottish parts are colonial American.

I have at least two ancestors who fought in the American Secessionary War from the British Empire, and one was German and the other Irish. Andes and Sullivan.

    From David French:

    2. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and the Necessity of Relentless Self-Defense

There are few political phrases I’ve grown to hate more than“endless war.” Critics of American deployments invoke it in the midst of debates about American policy, almost always casting themselves as the people who can actually end the “endless war.” Stop fighting, they say. Get out, they demand. Or this conflict will continue forever.

Hidden within this argument is a dangerous presumption—that if we stop fighting, so will our enemies. In other words, we are sustaining the conflict by fighting the conflict. Our presence doesn’t suppress jihad so much as it fuels jihad. Remove our presence, and the justification for jihad will wither. Withdrawal is thus a no-lose proposition. Our troops come home, and our nation grows safer.

Baghdadi’s death represents a useful opportunity to pause and reflect as to how, exactly, he became the world’s most dangerous terrorist. Viewed through one prism, he’s Exhibit A for critics of American deployments. He’s a creature of the Iraq war, they argue—an heir to the monstrous jihadist army known first as AQI (al-Qaeda in Iraq) that later became the Islamic State.

This argument isn’t without foundation. The Iraq invasion triggered an insurgency, and that insurgency was fed in part by early American mistakes. Our war made more war, and ISIS was the result.

But it’s also true that ISIS fed off American withdrawal, and if America had retained meaningful combat power in Iraq, it almost certainly wouldn’t have become the terrifying caliphate that shocked the world with its power and atrocities in 2014. Our presence fueled conflict. Our absence fueled conflict. But the difference is that our presence allows us to combat terrorists close to their homes, not ours.

  20. “Sorry you had to find out this way.”

    I LOL’d so hard I plotzed!

Only a really secure woman can write that.

Meanwhile, the blackwashing continues in our true power center, Hollywood.

The upcoming movie with Tom Hanks about Mr. Rogers is about his relationship with the journalist* Tom Junod. From what I gather they’ve changed the name of the journalist (why?) and the race of the journalists’s wife. I don’t think the real Tom Junod is married to a black woman. Why?

*And of course, it’s about a beloved media figure’s relationship to a journalist. Journalists really give Hollywood a case of the hards. Why? Because they are the same industry: story-telling. I would bet my mortgage money that inside every journalist is a frustrated screenwriter.

    • Replies: @Prosa123
Junod conducted his famous interview with Mr. Rogers while working for Esquire magazine. My guess is that Esquire owns the rights to any movies or other works based on that interview and therefore the movie producers had to fictionalize the script.
  21. Clark had instisted that his children run middle-distance instead of “stereotypical” sprints.

The 800M does, indeed, seem like the distance that is most amenable to success through hard work and coaching.

Runners clearly divide between natural sprinters and natural long distance runners. The very short and long distances are dominated by the extremes of these types.

But at 800M, a natural sprinter can compete by getting his endurance up with a lot of training. Or, alternatively, a natural long distance runner can compete with a lot of work on his strength.

When I did high school track the 800M was the realm of the long distance guys. Whereas the 400M was for the sprinters with the best endurance (for sprinters).

At the elite level, however, I think the 800M is now dominated by sprinter-types. The 1500M (approximately a mile) is now the shortest race still dominated by the endurance-type athletes.

The sprint-endurance dichotomy in running is interesting. For example, if you had to wager: At what distance would Usain Bolt still be able to beat the world’s fastest marathoner?

At what distance would Usain Bolt still be able to beat the world’s fastest marathoner?

Usain Bolt has never run a mile.

... “Yes, a decathlete’s training is necessarily geared towards more endurance than a one-hundred-metre runner, but I don’t think to the extent that they’re an irrelevant comparison. If Eaton is capable of a 4:20 mile with his training, then Bolt,” with middle-distance training, “won’t be much faster than 4:30, in my opinion.” If Tucker had to guess, he’d put his money on 4:45 to 4:50. “But the incentive for him would have to be large.”

...Perhaps the most visually convincing argument against Bolt’s potential prowess in the mile is the footage of the nine-time Olympic gold medalist and sprinting specialist Carl Lewis struggling to run a 2:16 half-mile in his prime, in 1986, on television. It’s clear from his last lap that the man who was then the “fastest human in the world,” as the TV announcer calls Lewis, is spent. He makes the half-mile look hard. "There's no way Lewis would have finished that mile in under five minutes," Robert Johnson told me.

I don't know. Sebastian Coe held world records at both distances. To be a world class miler or half miler, you need a terrific sprint finish, and even multiple Olympic medallist Mo Farah has extraordinary sprinting speed that 99% of people could never match, even if he is not as explosively fast as a short distance sprinter.

The desired quality for a long distance runner is to maintain speed and still be able to accelerate at the end.

In the video below we see some Farah finishes, but in the last one, which is over 1500 meters, he finishes 4th against a world class field, not being able to accelerate as much as over longer distances.

A runner of his type is almost unbeatable over 5K and 10K provided that the early pace of the race is not close to world record pace. If the early race is very, very fast, it drains the speed of the fast finishers, but Olympic races are usually tactical rather than fast.

At what distance would Usain Bolt still be able to beat the world’s fastest marathoner?

Usain Bolt has never run a mile.

… “Yes, a decathlete’s training is necessarily geared towards more endurance than a one-hundred-metre runner, but I don’t think to the extent that they’re an irrelevant comparison.

…Perhaps the most visually convincing argument against Bolt’s potential prowess in the mile is the footage of the nine-time Olympic gold medalist and sprinting specialist Carl Lewis struggling to run a 2:16 half-mile in his prime, in 1986, on television. It’s clear from his last lap that the man who was then the “fastest human in the world,” as the TV announcer calls Lewis, is spent. He makes the half-mile look hard. “There’s no way Lewis would have finished that mile in under five minutes,” Robert Johnson told me.

I wonder if black NBA players tend to get tired in the fourth quarter?
  27. Christian McCaffrey is an amazing athletic talent, both fast AND quick, and can, and does, play multiple positions on offense.

I worry about his longevity, though.

He is overused in the Panther offense, on the field for virtually every play, I believe. His compact body type and low to the ground stature may protect him somewhat, along with his great speed and strength (take a look at the kid’s biceps!), but sooner or later the load and endless contact are going to catch up to him, especially since he busts his gut on every play.

    NFL — Not For Long.

You are exactly correct about the reasons McCaffrey won't last.

The same is true for all other NFL running backs and mobile QBs in this day and age.

I would only add that the load and endless contact will always be present in the NFL because there are no slow, small players with poor reflexes at that level of sport.

4.8 40 yard dashes are now the average for NFL defensive ends. At full speed most RBs and mobile QBs will be lucky to get by them. Forget it once those RBs and QBs lose a step.

White Americans are obsessed with sport, in American culture the archetypal all-American “alpha male” is an athlete. The problem is non-whites, particularly blacks, outperform them at almost all sports commonly played in America which in the American social hierarchy puts blacks at the top as the ultimate “alpha males”.

This is also true in Europe with football (soccer) to a large extent, although Europeans generally don’t regard football players as the ultimate “alpha males” in the same way Americans do with their sportsmen, so just because there are a lot of black football players in Europe that doesn’t put blacks at the top of the social hierarchy in the same way as it does in America.

I always think Scotsman Alan Wells should get a mention in the Sailer reference to the pre 1984 100m finals.

A formidable powerhouse type of runner, some questioned whether his 100m win in Moscow in 1980 was devalued, but he beat Carl Lewis and Stanley floyd less than 2 weeks later in the prestigious Koblenz international meet, and dominated that summer season and beyond.

This was in the heyday of track in the modern period, particularly middle distance.

Heres a link to the more politicized interpretation of the broader trend and the wiki reference to that season wells dominated.

    https://www.counter-currents.com/2016/08/the-last-white-100-meters-olympic-champion-and-the-next/

    From wiki:
Following the Moscow Olympics, there was some suggestion that Wells’s gold medal had been devalued by the boycott of the games. Wells accepted an invitation to take on the best USA sprinters of the day, among others, at a track meeting in Koblenz in West Germany. Less than two weeks after the Moscow gold, Wells (10.19) won the final in Koblenz beating Americans[2] Stanley Floyd (10.21), Mel Lattany (10.25),[3] Carl Lewis (10.30) and Harvey Glance (10.31). Lattany went straight over to Wells after crossing the line to say, “For what it’s worth, Allan, You’re the Olympic champion and you would have been Olympic champion no matter who you ran against in Moscow.”[2]

Not sure why this is my first comment, but consider that it’s not speed (or jumping ability) per se that makes blacks often more suited for positions like WR and CB, but instead arm length. This is also a big deal in basketball and hand-to-hand combat sports.

Longer arms means that, ceteris paribus, you have an advantage reaching out to swipe at the ball, or reaching up to grab (or shoot) it. It’s a better advantage than speed or jumping, actually, because you don’t have to give up some body control trying to increase your speed or by leaving your feet.

White guys generally have shorter arms. This might account for some advantage in sports that require the use of a tool like a bat or a racquet, where longer arms might making controlling the tool with precision at the distant contact point more difficult.

I don’t know.

In this one Farah is beaten by Kipchoge over 2 miles, finishing a second behind. The miles splits are something like 4:05 and 4:02.

    I LOL'd so hard I plotzed!

Only a really secure woman can write that.

Meanwhile, the blackwashing continues in our true power center, Hollywood.

The upcoming movie with Tom Hanks about Mr. Rogers is about his relationship with the journalist* Tom Junod. From what I gather they've changed the name of the journalist (why?) and the race of the journalists's wife. I don't think the real Tom Junod is married to a black woman. Why?

*And of course, it's about a beloved media figure's relationship to a journalist. Journalists really give Hollywood a case of the hards. Why? Because they are the same industry: story-telling. I would bet my mortgage money that inside every journalist is a frustrated screenwriter.

Junod conducted his famous interview with Mr. Rogers while working for Esquire magazine. My guess is that Esquire owns the rights to any movies or other works based on that interview and therefore the movie producers had to fictionalize the script.

It's one of the reasons the bipartisan political establishment is so gung-ho about Hispanic immigration into inner cities: the cities get more functional and safer. And that means gentrification for white liberals can begin.

The reality is that nobody, of any race, likes the kind of underclass blacks you see in inner-city Detroit, Baltimore, or Chicago, other blacks included. Except for mostly white upper-middle class liberals: and then, only theoretically, from a nice long distance. And then, it is more to fetishize them for their own political purposes than to actually see them as other human beings with the same moral ambiguity that everyone else has.

The article below shows that only 0.14% (much less than one percent) of a sample of 3,636 subjects in the Family Blood Pressure study in 15 geographic locales in the United States and Taiwan did not self-report their race/ethnicity (white, African American, East Asian, and Hispanic) in accord with a genetic analysis of each subject for 326 markers that produced four major clusters. In short 99.8% of 3,636 subjects in a blood pressure study reported their ethnicity/race in accord with detailed genetic analysis which identified the four major groupings: white, African American, East Asian, and Hispanic. Thus, it is ignorant to pretend that such categories do not exist when virtually everyone knows their specific race and ethnicity.

As his father Ed had done to Booker, Christian relegated a more famous name to the bench at Stanford, starting in front of Barry Sanders Jr.

Joe Clark is famous as the strict principal in the the movie Lean on Me. His two daughters and his daughter-in-law all three ran in the 800m event at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and his son was their coach. When they were growing up, Clark had instisted that his children run middle-distance instead of "stereotypical" sprints. He supervised dawn training sessions that often left his children in tears or worse.

The term “inbreeding” tends to freak out Americans, but it’s simply a mathematical inevitability for every long-enough-lasting extended family.

I would say that if your common ancestor is still alive when you were born, the relative is too close to marry. As Dwight put it when he was courting Esther in The Office: We’re third cousins, which is great for bloodlines and isn’t technically incest. Jim reassures him tongue-in-cheek: Right in the sweet spot.

    • Replies: @R.G. Camara
The two most inbred groups in America are Jews and blacks. As the joke goes with Jews, every Ashkenazi Jew (the dominant group in America) is a third cousin to every other. With blacks, since there is so little outbreeding (as dating statistics demonstrate) and since blacks largely don't know who their father is and few move out of the ghetto, they are literally sleeping with their half-sisters and not knowing it.
  49. A local private high school recruited for both football and hockey. One year they ended up with a football backfield to die for: three running backs who each easily were faster than any other back on any other team in the league. Two were white guys recruited for hockey, and one was a black recruited for football. I didn't realize you couldn't comment over there anymore, so I will comment here

The term “inbreeding” tends to freak out Americans, but it’s simply a mathematical inevitability for every long-enough-lasting extended family.

I would say that if your common ancestor is still alive when you were born, the relative is too close to marry. As Dwight put it when he was courting Esther in The Office: We're third cousins, which is great for bloodlines and isn't technically incest. Jim reassures him tongue-in-cheek: Right in the sweet spot.

The two most inbred groups in America are Jews and blacks. As the joke goes with Jews, every Ashkenazi Jew (the dominant group in America) is a third cousin to every other. With blacks, since there is so little outbreeding (as dating statistics demonstrate) and since blacks largely don’t know who their father is and few move out of the ghetto, they are literally sleeping with their half-sisters and not knowing it.

One hilarious instance of protective stupidity is when commie whites claim we need "more black representation in the artistic canon" or claim that they individually read a lot of great black writers. Long time listener, first time caller.

Not sure why this is my first comment, but consider that it's not speed (or jumping ability) per se that makes blacks often more suited for positions like WR and CB, but instead arm length. This is also a big deal in basketball and hand-to-hand combat sports.

Longer arms means that, ceteris paribus, you have an advantage reaching out to swipe at the ball, or reaching up to grab (or shoot) it. It's a better advantage than speed or jumping, actually, because you don't have to give up some body control trying to increase your speed or by leaving your feet.

White guys generally have shorter arms. This might account for some advantage in sports that require the use of a tool like a bat or a racquet, where longer arms might making controlling the tool with precision at the distant contact point more difficult.

Boxing, bullfighting, baseball, police work, stocking shelves in stores, lots of activities favor long armed people.

Since I had mentioned "hand-to-hand combat sports" (thus, it seemed, re: boxing, that you didn't read my comment carefully), and since bullfighters use a stick to extend their red cape (thus, re: bullfighting, it was obvious you didn't even understand the source material), and since "stocking shelves" was not terribly inspired, I assumed your comment to be lazy trolling. The best response to trolling is to expend less effort on thought and typing than the troll expended on the trolling; hence, my reply.

But now I see at least that your "police officer" comment might have been a joke about the "long arm of the law." I'm willing to concede that I missed the joke; though, in my defense, it was buried and poorly delivered. In the unlikely event that you double back and read this, then, my apologies... but don't quit your day job!

White Jim Otis of the old St. Louis Cardinals led the NFC in rushing in 1974 or 1975; he may not have outrushed the AFC leader. Otis was a product of Woody Hayes’ 3-yards-cloud-of-dust offense at The Ohio State University.

As for whites who cannot flee blacks, they either get beaten or cuck out as 'whiggaz' and white girls give into jungle fever and their wombs are Afro-colonized.

And white guys who drink beer to black sports are cucky-wucks who delight in blacks kicking white guys's butts and taking white women as prizes.

Mike Trout. Tom Brady. Uh, Luka Doncic. Behinge thyself.

Christian's mother's eugenic experiment to create "fast white guys" is unconscionable, evil and Nazi-esque.

Shame on her and her Nazi agenda.

As we all know, the only appropriate way for a white country to influence reproduction is to suppress the fertility of its endogenous middle class by importing waves of mass Third World immigrants who raise housing costs and suppress wages, making it impractical for them to have children. It's also helpful to saddle their young women with six figure student loan debts after receiving 8 years of anti-natalist feminist propaganda, I mean, "education." Furthermore, subjecting them to mass media promoting miscegenation will ensure that if they do possibly breed, they'll have non-white children.

I don’t recall ever seeing the word sublunary before. Thanks for teaching me something today.

Actually, the sample size is fairly close to every man on earth. By age 12, 99 percent of boys know some other boy who is a faster runner than them.

This rings true. I can still remember in 3rd grade during recess lining up with 10 to 15 other boys and racing about 20 yards. There were 3 boys whom I could never catch. Even if I cheated and got a running start, I could not beat them. As we progressed through elementary school and into junior high, they were still faster. I tried to copy their running technique. I looked at the way they moved their arms, and how they took strides. But I could never compete with them. It was very humbling. And this was in one class of a small town school. Imagine this competition taking place in every grade level in every town in my state and nation along with the rest of the world. And as you wrote, it all ends with 8 black guys in the olympic finals.

Christian McCaffrey is an amazing athletic talent, both fast AND quick, and can, and does, play multiple positions on offense.

I worry about his longevity, though.

He is overused in the Panther offense, on the field for virtually every play, I believe. His compact body type and low to the ground stature may protect him somewhat, along with his great speed and strength (take a look at the kid's biceps!), but sooner or later the load and endless contact are going to catch up to him, especially since he busts his gut on every play.

    NFL -- Not For Long.

You are exactly correct about the reasons McCaffrey won’t last.

Remember, it was Out of NORTH AFRICA. The North Africans had already evolved away from Sub-Saharan Africans. So, the divergence between Sub-Saharan Africans and non-Africans could be more than 100,000 yrs.

It’s about time Out of Africa was called Out of North Africa.

Chinese don’t need to bother with that. They just need to hire Sailer as coach. Sailer said something to Jared Diamond that made him run like a mothafuc*a. So, all Sailer has to do is go to China, whisper some HBD into the ears of Chinese runners, and see them run like mofongs.

When they were growing up, Clark had instisted that his children run middle-distance instead of "stereotypical" sprints. He supervised dawn training sessions that often left his children in tears or worse.

In the early 90’s it became (briefly) fashionable to be moral. There was a trend of people saying they would not have sex until marriage. One of them was Barry Sanders. About a year after Sanders made the statement, he got a woman pregnant out of wedlock.

AC Green, who still holds the NBA record for most consecutive games played, claims to have gone through his entire NBA career a virgin, as he retired in 2001 and got married in 2002.

His future teammate Charles Barkley once asked him: if God's so great, how come he didn't give you a better jump shot?
  84. @A Ham Sandwich

All-time great Jerry West, who played from 1960-61 to 1973-74, was known for having unusually long arms.

For younger people, Jerry West is white.

Jerry West considered going on the pro golf tour after retiring from the NBA. He played in a lot of big money matches at Riviera and was known for Nicklaus-length drives.

I suspect his personality wasn't suited for grinding away on the pro tour: he's super competitive in a Michael Jordan-like way and gets down on himself when he doesn't win.

Johnny Lam Jones was awful….Huntington’s(adopted hometown of Mr. and Mrs. Derbyshire and UCLA’s Freeman McNeil)Kurt Sohn should have started…But Walt Michaels had calcified dingleberries on the brain…..Kurt Sohn would have started on Bill Belicheck’s Patriots…..

Yup, Lam Jones was the paradigmatic wretched Jets pick. They passed on Anthony Munoz, perhaps the best Offensive lineman in NFL history, to lavish a then unheard of 2 million bucks on Jones ,who couldn't catch the football if you gave him a trawler and a seine. The Jets have been largely dysfunctional for almost 40 years.

Lam Jones was effective if you first faked handing the ball to Earl Campbell then pitched out to the World’s Sixth Fastest Man. But you’d be better off just handing the ball to Campbell in his prime.

Perhaps this used to be common knowledge, but Lam isn't Johnny's actual middle name. Darrell Royal gave him this as a nickname because he was from Lampasas, to contrast him with Johnny Ham Jones from Hamlin.

Lam Jones won the gold as part of the 4x100 relay that summer in Montreal, and also came in 6th in the 100m. Interestingly, in the final heat, there were 5 blacks and 3 whites. The 3 whites were from the Soviet Union, East Germany, and Bulgaria. I'm sure that's not a coincidence.

Finally, Lam died in March of myeloma. He was 60.

At the elite level, however, I think the 800M is now dominated by sprinter-types. The 1500M (approximately a mile) is now the shortest race still dominated by the endurance-type athletes.

If the early race is very, very fast, it drains the speed of the fast finishers, but Olympic races are usually tactical rather than fast.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkzCtCr85WE

In this one Farah is beaten by Kipchoge over 2 miles, finishing a second behind. The miles splits are something like 4:05 and 4:02.

Kipchoge was a good-but-not-great 5000m runner… I forget what he did after that.

As Ralph Ellison, Toni Morrison, and numerous other black artists have represented in their works. E.g. Invisible Man's plot turns on an instance of a poor black farmer knowingly impregnating his own daughter.

One hilarious instance of protective stupidity is when commie whites claim we need "more black representation in the artistic canon" or claim that they individually read a lot of great black writers. If you quiz them about the incest and child sexual abuse themes rampant in such works, they deny it or pretend not to have noticed it.

Unlike modern women, old blacks knew intuitively that the key to healthy children is being born of a young mother.

But Texas instead faked it to Campbell and pitched out to Lam Jones, who had finished 6th in the Olympic 100m dash a couple of months earlier. We all know that QBs like Tom Brady and Drew Brees have no business playing in the NFL when they could be replaced by more mobile black quarterbacks.... Trying to remember how many black quarterbacks have led their teams to Super Bowl wins in the last 10 years, besides the mixed race Russell Wilson. Twenty years?

Boxing, bullfighting, baseball, police work, stocking shelves in stores, lots of activities favor long armed people.

Since I had mentioned “hand-to-hand combat sports” (thus, it seemed, re: boxing, that you didn’t read my comment carefully), and since bullfighters use a stick to extend their red cape (thus, re: bullfighting, it was obvious you didn’t even understand the source material), and since “stocking shelves” was not terribly inspired, I assumed your comment to be lazy trolling. The best response to trolling is to expend less effort on thought and typing than the troll expended on the trolling; hence, my reply.

    >“I don’t know what’s going on. I can’t explain what’s happening in your head."

Oh, yes, you do. It's the exact same reason why middle-class blacks fled not long after the whites did-and in places like Chicago, still are doing so.

You can bet your last dollar that the ditto-heads in the Stupid Party will respond to this by bending over backwards to prove they aren't "racist" rather than showing statistics of the casualty rates on Chicago's South Side exceeding mid-2000s Baghdad and saying something like "Yeah, funny, who wouldn't want to live next to you?"

If Michelle loves her own people so much, why — when she and her husband went house-hunting in Chocolate City — didn’t she insist on buying in Anacostia, rather than 90+% white Kalorama? With the money they’ve made from their (ghost-written) memoirs, they could have bought up and renovated an entire block of delapidated houses in Anacostia or a neighborhood like it, creating affordable housing for several needy black families, and in the process, set a fine example for other rich blacks by using their good fortune to help their own.

But no, Barry and Michelle would rather hobnob with the fancy white folks.
