I happen to know the town. It is, as advertised, out of the way, but still driveable to city-ish shopping. Mostly middle class with with a sprinkling of high-end places like hers, mostly outside of the main village. It is a pleasant enough area, if a little boring, about seven months out of the year, but quite cold and dark in the winter. Can't imagine Maxwell would have had the temperament to winter there. There is some local skiing, but they are unglamorous places, and probably she doesn't ski anyway. So she must have planned something else for Nov.-March.

A team at Henry Ford Health System in Southeast Michigan said Thursday its study of 2,541 hospitalized patients found that those given hydroxychloroquine were much less likely to die.
Dr. Marcus Zervos, division head of infectious disease for Henry Ford Health System, said 26% of those not given hydroxychloroquine died, compared to 13% of those who got the drug. The team looked back at everyone treated in the hospital system since the first patient in March.
"Overall crude mortality rates were 18.1% in the entire cohort, 13.5% in the hydroxychloroquine alone group, 20.1% among those receiving hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin, 22.4% among the azithromycin alone group, and 26.4% for neither drug," the team wrote in a report published in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases.

Anti inflammatory drugs like arthritis meds are natural candidates for treatment. I was just thinking today that doctors are practical and the fact it was out of favor meant that it wasn't working very well.

I happen to know the town. It is, as advertised, out of the way, but still driveable to city-ish shopping. Mostly middle class with with a sprinkling of high-end places like hers, mostly outside of the main village. It is a pleasant enough area, if a little boring, about seven months out of the year, but quite cold and dark in the winter. Can't imagine Maxwell would have had the temperament to winter there. There is some local skiing, but they are unglamorous places, and probably she doesn't ski anyway. So she must have planned something else for Nov.-March.

The SDNY is very clear that both the Epstein arrest and the Maxwell arrest and investigation is all being done by the public corruption team. As Elie Honig explained, the public corruption unit does not handle sex crimes and sex trafficking cases. They handle crimes committed by public officials.

That means the criminal sex ring run by Epstein is incidental to this investigation, and the primary targets of this investigation are those public officials who protected Epstein all these years...especially in 2008. In other words, this is about draining the swamp.

I don't agree it is such a small thing. I've already posted my opinion here, so I won't elaborate. Anyway, I don't think it is some huge intelligence operation (Mossad, CIA,..) - there were no Russians, Chinese, various Arabs or Indians to spy on. Basically, Epstein was a power-pimp for North American- wealthy European (plus that disgraced figure of Israeli ex-PM) elites who couldn't get laid with Lolitas. Money couldn't buy them that.

Epstein case was a big prostitution ring for wealthy old farts. No more than that- but no less, too.
