Probably not, but it’s an amusing extrapolation of this line from a long Buzzfeed article

Planned Parenthood Has Ousted Its President, Leana Wen, Amid A Dispute Over The Organization’s Direction

… Two sources told BuzzFeed News that Wen also refused to use “trans-inclusive” language, for example saying “people” instead of “women” and telling staff that she believed talking about transgender issues would “isolate people in the Midwest.”

This is so interesting. I hope more leaks out. Wen sounds competent and no nonsense. The deep state at PP sound like SJW slackers.

During the beginning of Wen’s tenure at Planned Parenthood, the staff she brought with her distributed a 182-page handbook on rules and tips for staffing Wen. The “Special Assistant Guide” from the Baltimore City Health Department, according to a copy obtained by BuzzFeed News, details guidelines on timeliness (“Nothing can fall through the cracks”), office demeanor (“Make sure to frequently look up [from Twitter] and make eye contact with Dr. Wen to see if she is trying to communicate urgent information”), language use (“Dr. Wen ‘learns’ not ‘hears’”). and correspondence (“Try not to look at emails more than once. Take care of it then”).

“The handbook was honestly just the beginning of her management issues,” the source familiar with the situation said. “Shit has been crazy, there was a whole system of insanity: a deep mistrust of staff, giving directives that made no sense, saying things that were factually inaccurate, saying one thing then saying something else completely, micromanaging control over what people were allowed to say and not say.”

Wen brought in a tight-knit group of people from the Baltimore Department of Health with whom she would constantly have “secret meetings” without other staff, two sources said, not seeming to trust anyone else. She would often be dishonest with other staff members, the sources said, and “refused to listen to area experts who had been at Planned Parenthood for years about how to execute political work or how to talk about abortion.”

“Oftentimes we wouldn’t know that, say an op-ed she wrote was posting or what she was going to say in a speech until she had already said it,” one of the sources said, adding those kinds of actions are the reason that so many staff members left Planned Parenthood after Wen took over.

A rule to make sure you look up from Twitter from time to time? Jeez. How is it even allowed that you are pulling out a cell phone in a business environment. I guess I’m just too old.

For how many years have you been retired? Most white collar work these days is 1-2 hours of actual work and another 6-7 of doing nothing.
    , @PiltdownMan
Wen sounds like she might not be mature enough for a CEO job at a non-profit like Planned Parenthood. Which does not imply that rest of Planned Parenthood is necessarily the model of dispassionate managerial competence; it took them fifty years to appoint an actual doctor as head of the organization.

Wen started college at age 13, got her bachelor's in biochemistry at age 18, an M.D. degree, then two M.A.s from Oxford during her Rhodes Scholarship, one in Chinese. She must have had no more than five years experience when she became Baltimore's health commissioner at age 31. She got the PP job five years later.

What's the big deal? Everything the Wen lady did fits with what the management in any large organisation you may mention – corporations, governments, universities, militaries... – do: the arbitrary tyranny, the favouritism, the micromanagment, the condescension.

There is nothing to see here, the headline could read: "Asshole Big Shot Behaves Like Asshole Big Shot."

How on Earth she was run out of the place for it is beyond me, but it is probably no more complicated or interesting than that she pissed off people she did not realise had an uncle, lover, or drinking buddy on the board of directors.

    No it's not.

You do know that black and Hispanic women have way higher rates of asking to get their tubes tied than white women, right?

All you have to do to make voluntary sterilization eugenic is to only have government-paid clinics in low income, high crime areas.

That will ensure the clinics only pop up in places where blacks, Hispanics, and underclass whites live.

Proper grammar is it for one critter them for 2 or more critters.

I wonder if farmers are still allowed to refer to live stock as she and he. Since the girls produce milk eggs and more livestock they’re more valued. “ Them’s ready to give birth. Keep them in the barn till the calf is born. Which them is ready? Them all got pregnant at the same time.” Will the dairy farmers still be able to say
excellent another heifer or damm another bull calf when the calves are born?

Will they have to stop using the terms roosters hens and capons mare gelding and stallions?

What happens if the veal slaughterhouse truck takes all of “them “ away, including this years crop of of baby heifer future milk producers?

Thinking of dairy cows, there are sporadic outbursts of crazed feminazis making plans to invade dairy farms and liberate the enslaved milk producers. I don’t think the plans were ever carried out. I’d love to see the sissy city girls trying to harass annoyed dairy cows. They’re very docile till they get annoyed or milking is delayed and their udders hurt. Then they kick or slam the person harassing them with their 100 pd heads. Or stamp on the person’s foot

The them thing is happening as fast as the Mrs & Miss to Ms, negro & colored to black to african american to POC and homo to queer to gay to non binary things happened.

Biggest joke is colored person is a racial slur and dreadful pejorative but person of color is the preferred politically correct term

    Transgenderism as “gestational communism”!!

Sophie Lewis's recently published “Full Surrogacy Now, Feminism Against Family” dismisses the belief that parents have special emotional ties to their biological offspring and argues that the biological family should be replaced by a world of “gestational communism.”

She also dismisses the importance of genetics, asserting that parent's genes are “scrambled” in their newborn child. … She “seeks to land a blow against bourgeois society’s voracious appetite for private, legitimate babies.”

Her plan to abolish the biological family requires abolishing gender:

“Some readers will probably have noticed by now that the terms “women” and “female” appear only infrequently in this text. The reason for that is simple: I feel there’s no call for them. The formulation “pregnant people” is just as good as the alternative “pregnant women, men, and non-binary people,” and it is more precise than “expectant mothers” or “pregnant women.” Precision is important, I firmly believe, because there can be no utopian thought on reproduction that does not involve uncoupling gestation from the gender binary.”

Those men having babies are women who even after all the testosterone injections produce a ripened egg every month that floats from the ovaries through the Fallopian tubes to the uterus. A sperm entered the egg the egg implanted into the uterus wall.

That’s how women, not men get pregnant. Ovaries, ovum Fallopian tubes uterus placenta nourishment and oxygen entering the baby from the mother through the belly button cord I forget what it’s called.

If they produced ripe eggs every month they must menstruate .

Then come to small town Wisconsin.

The archetype small town Wisconsin kids are either German or Scandinavian heritage in the middle and western parts of the state, or perhaps Polish or Irish in the Eastern parts of the state. Also, a lot of English in there, either Cornish who came to work the mines in the SW (hence the name "Lands End" for a SW Wisconsin company) or Yankees who migrated west from New England.

Kind of a weird mixture of culturally conservative, yet very liberal in many ways. Midwesterners will spend lavishly on schools and roads, and willingly pay the taxes.

The archetype of the small town Wisconsin kid is "strong, like bull", honest, smarter than average and fair minded.

Some of the best known small town Wisconsin lads are former NFL LT Joe Thomas (who went fishing with his dad on draft day, and was picked #4 by the Browns), and current NFL defensive players JJ and TJ Watt.

In general, the big cities outside the Fox Valley go for Democrats. The suburbs other than Madison go for Republicans. The Fox Valley (Appleton, Green Bay, etc) goes Republican.

The big battleground in Wisconsin is the small town voter. They are pretty well split between Democrats and Republicans. The Germans and Scandinavians are more likely to vote D; the Irish and Polish more likely to vote R.

My kids have gotten to know kids from small town Wisconsin through regional sports teams.

Perhaps you would like small town Wisconsin, perhaps not. Maybe you would love the simple but intelligent and fair-minded people. Maybe you would like hunting and fishing, especially ice fishing in the winter.

Or maybe the small-town life would be boring. Maybe you aren't into hunting and fishing. Maybe the idea of freezing your butt off in the winter fishing through ice isn't your cup of ice tea. Maybe -20 degree weather is a deal breaker. Maybe the high property taxes so Swen and Olaf's kids can have a great school would bother you.

Or maybe you find the perfect country lake house to live in, and some rich dude from Chicago snatches it up before you.

Anyway, you are welcome to come to Wisconsin, for a visit or longer, anytime you please.

Richmond Public Schools Considers School Pairing In Effort To Diversify Schools

    July 17, 2019

    by Megan Pauly

Richmond Public Schools plans to redraw the boundaries for all school zones before the start of the fall 2020 school year. The district wants to use the effort to help increase student diversity.

One zoning tool they’re considering is called school pairing. One big zone is drawn around two adjacent schools serving the same grade levels, with one then serving lower grades and the other higher grades.

“Create one big zone, and two schools within it that serve K-2, and 3rd-5th grade,” said Matthew Cropper, a contractor Richmond Public Schools hired to analyze data for the rezoning process.

At the district’s June rezoning committee meeting, Cropper proposed pairing William Fox Elementary with John B. Cary Elementary. At Fox, 65% of students are white, compared with just 8% of students at Cary.

“The opportunity exists when you have one zone of one demographic type immediately next to a zone of another demographic type,” said Cropper.

Teressa Kennedy, a member of the district’s rezoning committee, likes the idea of school pairing. Her son attends Holton Elementary, where the student population is 53% black and 43% white, but that racial makeup is rare for the district.

Numerous studies support the positive effects of school diversity, pointing to higher career goals, access to social networks and job opportunities. Additionally, graduates of racially diverse schools are more likely to attend integrated colleges and live in racially diverse neighborhoods than graduates of segregated schools.

    🙂

I guess I'm just too old.

"refused to listen to area experts who had been at Planned Parenthood for years about how to execute political work" -- oh, man, I can't wait to hear her side of the story.

Wen sounds like she might not be mature enough for a CEO job at a non-profit like Planned Parenthood. Which does not imply that rest of Planned Parenthood is necessarily the model of dispassionate managerial competence; it took them fifty years to appoint an actual doctor as head of the organization.

Wen started college at age 13, got her bachelor’s in biochemistry at age 18, an M.D. degree, then two M.A.s from Oxford during her Rhodes Scholarship, one in Chinese. She must have had no more than five years experience when she became Baltimore’s health commissioner at age 31. She got the PP job five years later.

Perhaps. But she comes off really well here on MSNBC:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=163&v=Vam54lhLEz8

She supports abortion 100 percent. She comes off as a professional medical person. She is good at communicaiton (she wrote a book titled When Doctors Don't Listen). She comes off as mainstream and calming, not a radical feminist, the sort of person Planned Parenthood could use right now. She's old enough to run for president of the United States. I'm sure she's smarter than anyone else at Planned Parenthood, yet she isn't an unsocialized Asian stereotype.

The article quotes two sources, but does not indicate their job level. Things they said:

    - a whole system of insanity

    - giving directives that made no sense

    - saying things that were factually inaccurate

This makes Wen sound stupid, which she obviously isn't. The reporter should have asked for specific examples, or written "saying thing that were inaccurate, although the sources could not specifically recall any examples."

    - brought in a tight-knit group of people from the Baltimore Department of Health

    - she would constantly have “secret meetings” without other staff

    - we wouldn’t know what she was going to say in a speech until she had already said it

Well, obviously, Wen came in to shake things up and kick some butt. She saw things internally at Planned Parenthood that she thought needed to be changed. Per the video embedded above, those did not include strong support for abortion services in each and every state. She supported that, and she supported using their legal resources to proactively protect and extent those services. Watch the video.

So were there tone problems? Misallocation of resources and time to extraneous activism. Personal vendeta activism rather than keeping eyes on the prize? General inefficiency and overuse of social media during office hours?

Not knowing who the sources were, we can't judge the "secret meetings." Not everyone gets to attend high-level meetings. Perhaps the invitation list was pruned and some people were demoted, to take into account the Baltimore staff.

    - micromanaging control over what people were allowed to say and not say.

    - a deep mistrust of staff

If changing abortion messaging to a more health and medical direction, rather than a radical feminist "taking back our female bodies from the patriarchy" antagonistic approach, then policing language is not micromanaging; it's a core job that needs to happen. If you are trying to change the way that campus SJWs talk, they are probably unaware of all their radical verbal tics and need constant reminding and reinforcement. And maybe some of them need to be shown the door, per the discussion below about people leaving the organization.

    - many staff members left Planned Parenthood after Wen took over

The reporter should have followed this up. Who left? How many? What job level, interns or middle or high-level managers? What do they have to say, on or off the record? There are all kinds of reasons people might leave after a new person comes in. On the low end, if they are there for SJW activism, and that is shut down, their chintzy intern stipends are not going to keep them there. On the high end maybe their jobs were effectively given to Baltimore staff and they were eased out. At any rate, we don't know enough and two anonymous staffers should not be allow to control the tone of the article.

Wen probably lost out in the internal wars. Is the board as radicalized as the staff? Perhaps Wen should have done more nemawashi and more internal communication, but if her opponents are died-in-the-wool, by-any-means-necessary radicals, that wouldn't have helped her.

At the district's June rezoning committee meeting, Cropper proposed pairing William Fox Elementary with John B.

All you have to do to make voluntary sterilization eugenic is to only have government-paid clinics in low income, high crime areas.

This is a war in which Asians will not win even one battle. No Art of War or strategizing in this kind of war. It’s just irrational, emotional, aggressive, and threatening. Higher-cognitive functioning is of little use and will be both defeated and destroyed in the lower-cognitive functioning battlefields of social justice jihadism.

And it’s sad for the Cho or Wang parents who sent their daughters off to Williams or Bryn Mawr only to have them major in psychology or English.

Where is this isolated "Midwest" place you speak of?

I want to go to there.

Then come to small town Wisconsin.

The archetype small town Wisconsin kids are either German or Scandinavian heritage in the middle and western parts of the state, or perhaps Polish or Irish in the Eastern parts of the state. Also, a lot of English in there, either Cornish who came to work the mines in the SW (hence the name “Lands End” for a SW Wisconsin company) or Yankees who migrated west from New England.

Kind of a weird mixture of culturally conservative, yet very liberal in many ways. Midwesterners will spend lavishly on schools and roads, and willingly pay the taxes.

The archetype of the small town Wisconsin kid is “strong, like bull”, honest, smarter than average and fair minded.

Maybe you aren’t into hunting and fishing. Maybe the idea of freezing your butt off in the winter fishing through ice isn’t your cup of ice tea. Maybe -20 degree weather is a deal breaker. Maybe the high property taxes so Swen and Olaf’s kids can have a great school would bother you.

Love and emotional connection usually happen independently of someone’s skin color.
Personally, I’ve dated outside my race, and I found interracial dating to be, well, pretty much like any other type of dating. Love and relationships are about connecting and bonding as people and individuals, and race shouldn’t put a restriction on any of that.
It’s not a matter of disregarding someone’s race when you date them, but embracing it. The fact that interracial couples are mostly accepted shows just how far we’ve gone since the days when they were frowned upon. Mixed babies are cute and they are the future , anyway. So, why not embrace it, BIGOTS.

At the district's June rezoning committee meeting, Cropper proposed pairing William Fox Elementary with John B.

    :)

Integrated colleges? Are segregated colleges even a thing anymore, aside from HBCUs? Are they implying it’s bad for blacks to attend HBCUs?

    - Demand to pay the same fee for having a female animal spayed as it costs to have a male animal neutered. Never mind the more invasive surgery and extra work – if the veterinarians tru to complain, sue them under the crazy laws of Mexinchifornia, New York, and other evil places. (Likewise for physicians' fees for tubal ligations, hysterectomies, vasectomies, etc.).

    - Next time you finalise a contract with a fellow for the purchase of hens (for optimum hilarity, find a buyer whose primary line of business is selling eggs), deliver him instead a truckload of roosters. If he complains, tell him he is a bigot and claim protection under the laws prohibiting anyone from refusing to acknowledge the gender with which one identifies; insist your roosters identify as hens, and that they were hatched that way. Have Lady Gaga make a speech in solidarity with you, and release a single, the proceeds of which will benefit other trans-hens being discriminated against.

    – Demand to be recognised by the regulator bodies of rodeos for your world record of remaining in the saddle for five minutes on a docile cow. When the authorities protest that, inter alia, the sport requires one to ride a bronco or a bull, tell them they are both trans-phobic and a species-ist. Demand recognition for your records in both bronco-busting and bull-riding, since your cow identifies as a fierce male who is species-fluid.

    Transgenderism as “gestational communism”!!

Sophie Lewis’s recently published “Full Surrogacy Now, Feminism Against Family” dismisses the belief that parents have special emotional ties to their biological offspring and argues that the biological family should be replaced by a world of “gestational communism.”

She also dismisses the importance of genetics, asserting that parent’s genes are “scrambled” in their newborn child.

Which Hispanic [sic] women are you talking about?

    These…

    …or these:

And why are you writing about “Hispanic [sic] women” in a taxonomy otherwise involving races?

  65. I told a friend about the firing of Dr Wen. She asked maybe Planned Parenthood plans to start birth control for men, handing out condoms, vasectomies? No, we looked on some websites. It’s just substituting all genders for women.

So we started thinking about birth control for men to women trannies. Where would they put the IUD?? How can they cut the Fallopian tubes if there aren’t any??

It just gets more insane every week.
