From KRCRTV:

Organizers cancel Women’s March Jan. 19 due to ‘overwhelmingly white’ participants
by Marissa Papanek Friday, December 28th 2018

EUREKA, Calif. — The organizers of the annual Women’s March have decided not to hold a rally in Eureka on Jan. 19, as previously planned, because they say participants do not represent the diversity of the area.

“This decision was made after many conversations between local social-change organizers and supporters of the march,” organizers said in a press release. …

“Up to this point, the participants have been overwhelmingly white, lacking representation from several perspectives in our community,” the press release went on to say. …

The Eureka Women’s March organizing committee encourages local supporters to attend the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in Eureka on Jan. 21, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Humboldt County on the far northern California coastline almost up to Oregon was 1.1% black in the 2010 Census. But, I gather, you can’t hold a Woman’s March on the Saturday of Martin Luther King Birthday weekend because that would be anti-Intersectional.

Johnny made a big mistake when he allowed his girlfriend to pick out his blouses for him (to look good in a belly blouse, one must be, in order of importance: female, and, 17 years old).

Nevertheless, he was one of the better guitarists (particularly slide) and performers of gritty blues in the era when a new Slowhand seemed to appear every year...most of whom disappeared into obscurity... anybody remember Shuggy Otis?

How to respond to Code of Conduct Reports. Authors Valerie Aurora, Mary Gardiner

    Some excepts

Purpose of a code of conduct

The purpose of a code of conduct is to protect members of a community from harm in  that community’s spaces.  The people who need the protection of a code of conduct are  usually those with less power or privilege, as more powerful or privileged people are often  already protected from most harm. For example, a straight white cis man who is the leader of an  important computer software project is highly unlikely to be the target of sexual harassment by  anyone participating in that project. It’s far more likely that a sexual harasser will target someone  with less privilege: someone who is a woman, a person of color, and/or queer, to name a few  possibilities.  When working properly, codes of conduct will most often be invoked to  protect those with less power and privilege from those with more

    The Paradox of Tolerance

When harmful people dominate your community and drive out more considerate people, that’s  an illustration of the  Paradox of Tolerance , a philosophical concept named by Karl Popper in  1945. The “paradox” is a more of a rule with one exception, and the rule is:  a tolerant society  must be tolerant of everything—except intolerance itself . This is because if a tolerant  society allows people to express and practice intolerance, intolerant people will eventually take  over all of the society, and the tolerant society will eventually disappear. This applies to  communities too: if a community tolerates intolerance, it will eventually be taken over by the  intolerant. Enforcing a code of conduct is one important way to protect a tolerant community  from destruction

Choosing code of conduct committee members

Once appointed, the committee chooses its own successors. An option for larger organizations  is to have a separate nominating committee. The committee must choose a chair, who is  responsible for moving the decision making forward and assigning responsibilities. If the chair is  temporarily unavailable, the committee must choose an interim chair to fill their duties.    Whatever method you use for choosing committee members, it must not be popular vote by the  community. This is because many people are uncomfortable with enforcing a code of conduct  even in the most egregious cases, and will vote for people who are less likely to enforce the  code of conduct. In general, committee membership and operations should not be up for vote in  any way due to this effect.

While it is impossible to represent every axis of oppression on a committee, it is helpful to find  people who are aware that more than one kind of oppression exists. In particular, committee  members should be familiar with the concept of  intersectionality , which was named and  popularized by the legal scholar Kimberlé Crenshaw.  Intersectionality  is the idea that people can  be subject to multiple overlapping forms of oppression, which interact and intersect with each  other in unique and specific ways. A committee should avoid recruiting a member who believes  all oppression can be reduced to class oppression, or that sexism is vastly more important than  any other kind of oppression.

Committee members must commit to upholding the confidentiality of the committee
publicly  ven if they disagree with its decisions. If a committee member feels that they
can’t support the decision of the committee, they should resign from the committee but
not speak publicly about  the process unless absolutely necessary. In general, it is harmful for a committee member to  publicly disagree with any decision they were privy to. Public disagreement or breaking the  confidentiality of committee deliberations should be reserved for major breaches of ethics of the  committee. (An example of a situation in which breaking committee confidentiality was justified  was the  Jim Frenkel at WisCon 38 incident , which was badly mishandled.) Anyone who thinks it  is reasonable to break committee confidentiality for small disagreements (e.g., because they  disagreed on minor wording decisions in the public statement) should not be on the committee

Avoiding or mitigating higher risk activities

The best way to handle code of conduct reports is to prevent incidents in the first place.
One  way to do that is to avoid or mitigate activities that carry a higher risk of people
violating a code  of conduct. Some higher risk activities include:
    ● Serving alcohol, especially with an open bar (unlimited free alcoholic drinks)
    ● Hot tubs, swimming pools, saunas, or other partially clothed or nude activities
    ● Events at nightclubs, bars, and dance halls
    ● Comedy and especially improvisational comedy (e.g. slide karaoke, hired comedians)
      ● Activities involving fake or real guns or weapons (e.g. laser tag, target shooting)
    ● Short unreviewed talks (e.g. lightning talks, Ignite talks)
    ● Coercive bonding exercises (e.g. trust falls, icebreakers)
    ● Activities involving costumes
    ● Sexualized staff (e.g. servers wearing sexy costumes, models wearing logos)

    Respond to criticism

We recommend responding as little as possible to criticism. This approach is often
     successful:
    ● Wait to see how people react to the initial announcement
    ● If necessary, post one followup to clarify any genuine misunderstandings
    ● Do not try to persuade people who strongly disagree with you
    ● Refuse to provide more details about the incident or its handling
    ● Refuse to engage in oneonone arguments, online or in person
    ● Redirect any communitywide discussions into smaller venues so that victims and  survivors don’t have to see their community debating their right to safety

I visited Eureka about 4-5 years ago, iirc.

    1) It’s the birthplace of Sara Bareilles.

    2) The Carson Mansion, a rather interesting architectural bauble not open to public tours that’s been ripped off for the sets of about 10,000 movies, was the inspiration for the clock tower on the Disneyland train station.

    3) I don’t remember seeing a single minority anywhere I went. Perhaps I did, but overall it struck me as a charming white, working class old fishing village filled from end to end with the kinds of white people that Democrats stopped giving a shit about at least twenty years ago.

It appears that Eureka’s elected representatives are all Democrats. Perhaps it’s just had it’s #MeToo moment.

If the GOP wanted to, it would not be too hard to get the coalition of the fringes to tear itself apart. Sort of like how the West can set developing nations on fire by pitting their rival groups against each other.

I’d love to see the democrat’s coalition blow up in their faces. Pat Buchanan’s latest article suggests that similar forces which tore apart the democrat coalition in 1968 could do today what was done then.

In identity politics, loyalty to race, ethnic group and gender often trump the claims of party. The diversity Democrats celebrate is one day going to pull their party apart, as the social, cultural and racial revolutions of the 1960s pulled apart the party of FDR and LBJ.

Taking Steve's thinking on these matters together, we may call it the "Sailer Axiom of Democratic Party Politics."

The strength of the centrifugal forces driving the constituent elements of the coalition of the fringes apart from one another will always be exceeded by the degree of expressed common hatred of white men necessary to keep the coalition together as a viable political organ.

The purpose of a code of conduct is to protect members of a community from harm in  that community's spaces. It's far more likely that a sexual harasser will target someone  with less privilege: someone who is a woman, a person of color, and/or queer, to name a few  possibilities.  When working properly, codes of conduct will most often be invoked to  protect those with less power and privilege from those with more

    The Paradox of Tolerance

When harmful people dominate your community and drive out more considerate people, that's  an illustration of the  Paradox of Tolerance , a philosophical concept named by Karl Popper in  1945. The "paradox" is a more of a rule with one exception, and the rule is:  a tolerant society  must be tolerant of everything—except intolerance itself .

If a committee member feels that they
can't support the decision of the committee, they should resign from the committee but
not speak publicly about  the process unless absolutely necessary.

That worked for that other New Yorker who carried the other half of his state while bombing in his own. However, the Germans turned on FDR after 1938.

That was before the war broke out. Many were still farmers, and didn't relish the idea that feeding the hogs slop from the north forty was "interstate commerce".

This is neither the first nor last time that the MSM have coordinated their talking points behind the scenes.

It's a useful reminder that just because JournoList-like media conspiracies/frauds are no longer exposed, does not mean that they are no longer happening.

All those fancy pundits, Brooks, Kristol, et al., supposedly independent-minded experts who supposedly give you the inside insight not available to the average citizen, are in fact each just another paid outlet for the MSM-Swamp Narratives they pre-script to give you instead of actual information, but in the guise of informing you. Occasionally their shameless lying creates a temporary embarrassment like the one above, and they remember to vary the dishonest product enough to give plausible deniability, but then they get lazy or rushed, and anyway the shameless were never really that embarrassed in the first place, so then another peculiarly identical convergence of "news" emerges from the reeking belch-hole of Big Media misdirection.

    Replies: @anon, @Alec Leamas

You're mistaken. Women are just more fanciful in generating possibilities than are men. They may add momentum to changes in the social order but they don't generate or direct such transformations. The source of the problem, in this case ambition, lies much closer to home than you right-leaning males would care to admit. Your good friend Charles Murray was in fact responsible for the first round of social justice assaults on our culture. The SAT being utilized to empower lower class, badly educated and perhaps badly raised white males to compete with the upper class in college admissions. The social justice narrative/mantra: "If my daddy had as much money as your daddy, I'd be something really great instead of mediocre like, well..., my own father." Food for thought.

If the commoners can’t be counted on to imitate their betters and shop at the correct stores, what good are they?

Dollar stores have succeeded in part by capitalizing on a series of powerful economic and social forces — white flight, the recent recession, the so-called “retail apocalypse” — all of which have opened up gaping holes in food access.

I saw an influx of the Negro urban underclass destroy two vibrant New Jersey cities, first East Orange then somewhat later Trenton. In both cases, primary beachheads of the underclass invasion were the local grocery stores. These were the places where the presence of the Negro underclass was first manifested. Gratuitous vandalism and theft and constant trashing became the norm.

I once saw a Negro child deliberately tear open a bag of rice and dump it on the floor. His mother just laughed. Negroes regularly opened packages, sampled the contents then moved on. Produce was a particular target, almost as if the Negroes in question resented the existence of fresh food. Meat, on the other hand, was a constant target of theft. Within six months of the Negro advent these stores closed.

I've noticed that Dollar Store operators are unusually vigilant and quick to respond to vandalism or theft. Perhaps this is one reason for their success.

They may add momentum to changes in the social order but they don’t generate or direct such transformations. The social justice narrative/mantra: “If my daddy had as much money as your daddy, I’d be something really great instead of mediocre like, well…, my own father.” Food for thought.

I'd love to see the democrat's coalition blow up in their faces. Pat Buchanan's latest article suggests that similar forces which tore apart the democrat coalition in 1968 could do today what was done then.

Muddy's daughter is trying to keep the various women's marches together. But that's like herding vixens:

Shook found an ally in Mercy Morganfield, the former President of the DC Women’s March. Mercy Morganfield levied a series of disturbing allegations at co-directors in a viral Facebook post. She claimed that not only had co-directors failed to uphold the Unity Principles, but they had misused funds and refused requests to share financial records. Morganfield paints a picture of a lavish lifestyle with five-star hotels and glam squads that pampered the high profile leadership while starving local organizers of the resources necessary to build and sustain a grassroots movement. She depicts a Women’s March that is deeply hierarchical and privileges national leadership over accountability to local chapters of the group and members of its board.

Unrelated but of interest. A guide to how to enforce codes of conduct.

How to respond to Code of Conduct Reports. Authors Valerie Aurora, Mary Gardiner

    Some excepts

Purpose of a code of conduct

The purpose of a code of conduct is to protect members of a community from harm in  that community's spaces.

If a committee member feels that they
can't support the decision of the committee, they should resign from the committee but
not speak publicly about  the process unless absolutely necessary.

The strength of the centrifugal forces driving the constituent elements of the coalition of the fringes apart from one another will always be exceeded by the degree of expressed common hatred of white men necessary to keep the coalition together as a viable political organ.

But, I gather, you can’t hold a Woman’s March on the Saturday of Martin Luther King Birthday weekend because that would be anti-Intersectional.

Do they even have an intersection in downtown Eureka! ? If you want your parade to be intersectional you've got to have a real stop light, not just some flashing reds or big-ass 4-way stop signs.

BTW, I drove up the big hill from Arcata (I think, it's the last town north) NE into Oregon. Frickin' RV drivers were doing 60 mph up the grade for 20 miles. I finally found a place to pass, and some damn trooper going the other way gave me a ticket for low 70's. I kept my promise never to do business in Grant's Pass again for about 2 decades.

Yreka is a nice place to view Mt. Shasta though, but you should probably pass through Weed first.

Oh, on another trip I picked up a hitchhiking skateboarder coming down the big grade of the US 26 from Prineville to Portland. He said he would have skateboarded down otherwise, which really worried me. Then, he filled up the car with pot-smoke as we glided down into Portland. I tried to air out the car before we got into heavy traffic.

Aha! These new “roundabouts” around here are a subtle dog whistle against intersectionality! Identity politics is tolerable, but stick to a single identity, please!

    Intersectionality does create employment:

Then they came for Dollar General:

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/the-dollar-store-backlash-has-begun/ar-BBRdPzh?ocid=spartandhp

Though these “small-box” retailers carry only a limited stock of prepared foods, they’re now feeding more people than grocery chains like Whole Foods …

If the commoners can't be counted on to imitate their betters and shop at the correct stores, what good are they?

I’ve noticed that Dollar Store operators are unusually vigilant and quick to respond to vandalism or theft. Perhaps this is one reason for their success.

If the wheels of the anti-White coalition of the margins come off, then Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be called on to use the strength she developed while weight lifting to hoist it up so Nancy Pelosi can put the wheels back on.

The corrupt and evil WASP/JEW ruling class of the American Empire can be summed up by looking at pictures of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Allen Greenspan and George HW Bush and George W Bush.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Alan Greenspan could be twins of some ungodly sort.

That worked for that other New Yorker who carried the other half of his state while bombing in his own. However, the Germans turned on FDR after 1938.

Muddy’s daughter is trying to keep the various women’s marches together. But that’s like herding vixens:

Did Muddy luck out and get good representation from Jewish agents? Or is there some other reason Mercy sees herself as a peacemaker?

Whatever, just don’t confuse Mercy with another, less merciful daughter of Muddy’s:
