From RealClearPolitics:
CNN’s Stelter to Media: Do Not Give Oxygen To “Conspiracy Theories” That Hillary Clinton Is “Secretly Ill”
Posted By Ian Schwartz
On Date September 11, 2016CNN media reporter and host of Reliable Sources admonished journalists who have questioned Hillary Clinton’s health, saying the press should not “give oxygen” to “conspiracy theories” that the Democratic nominee for president is “secretly ill.” However, Stelter did acknowledge there are “legitimate questions” about her health.
“The Clinton campaign did rush to put out a statement at the top of your broadcast to clarify that she is okay and was feeling overheated,” CNN’s Jeff Zeleny reported. “But I do think in the coming days this is going to keep playing out. It’s on the cover of the National Enquirer this week.”
“Let’s be honest, they had that horrible photo on the cover of that supermarket tabloid,” Stelter said Sunday on Reliable Sources. “Clearly, Hillary is photoshopped in that picture. I thought it was disgusting, and yet, even though there are these conspiracy theories which we should not give oxygen to saying that she’s secretly ill suggesting she is on her death bed which we can see she’s not.”

Hillary’s going to be needing that oxygen pretty soon, so don’t waste it.
Hillary’s greatest shill in Oz, Paul McGeough, is worried, very worried: Why Hillary Clinton’s health is now a real issue in the presidential campaign
Shot near the 9/11 memorial plaza in lower Manhattan, the bystander’s video which was uploaded to Twitter, shows Clinton leaning woodenly on a security bollard – supported by an aide as a campaign vehicle pulls up to the curb.
As a sliding, side door to the vehicle is opened, Clinton stumbles as several aides attempt to propel her into the vehicle – but she staggers from side to side several times.
Clinton’s legs seemingly buckle, as she appears to lose bodily motor control.
As Clinton is assisted towards the vehicle, her legs give way. She stumbles, falling into the vehicle – at which point the video ends, with the candidate lost in a scrum of aides and security agents.
…
And it will be exacerbated by her flip treatment of an incident that might have stayed in or near the nether world of the conspiracy theorists, because of the remarkable video.
The Sydney Morning Herald can’t get a straight line though as to whether this is just more conspiracy theory or very, very real: Who controls our news? Welcome to the era of Russian and Chinese information war
Already in the US, Britain and across Europe we’re seeing the blending of real and false information, or the repackaging of news to confuse the public (Nazis run the Ukrainian government), or an increase in conspiracy theory (Hillary Clinton is dying of a grave illness).
In the US presidential election, emails of the Democratic Party were hacked and then later distributed via WikiLeaks to online trolls and pro-Trump social media sites – echoing messages that cast Hillary Clinton in the worst possible light.
"In the US presidential election, emails of the Democratic Party were hacked and then later distributed via WikiLeaks to online trolls and pro-Trump social media sites – echoing messages that cast Hillary Clinton in the worst possible light."
Oh, this is somewhat akin to the 1998 David Mamet film Wag the Dog, where the president, due to tanking polling numbers due to a scandal and so to divert attention, he creates a phony war with Albania.
So too the Clinton's constant yabbering on about blaming the evil Russians, etc. for her own problems of incompetence, ineptness, and perhaps sagging health. And in 1998, another Clinton was in the WH and was fighting his own scandal at the time.
Deja vu all over again.
CNN is a weird network. I can’t tell if they are really incompetent or if they are extremely biased. Mostly they’re a train wreck.
Before then it was just a harebrained idea to run news 24/7 on cable. The idea worked, kind of like MTV when it was music.
Like most new things, CNN was absorbed into the dominant culture and made to serve it.
Ya gotta believe!
OT, humorous that as recently as 2005 Robert “Alexis” Arquette was credited in Lords of Dogtown as “Tranny.”

The constant drum beat of “conspiracy theories” is pretty pathetic and shameless. There are obvious questions about Hillary’s health, yet the only conspiracy is from the mouths of sycophants like Stelter admonishing the press to avoid the story of Hillary’s health.
The press is a kid in an 80s teen comedy, forever convinced that Dad just won’t notice his car’s smashed-in fender when he gets home.
I’m not sure what the MSM protocols are.
Will the reporters who have been excoriated for raising questions about Hillary’s health receive a fulsome apology?
Or will those reporters need to apologise again because Hillary really is ill, and it was mean to bring up the subject?
They'll get a fulsome apology when Sanford, Florida's former Police Chief Bill Lee Jr. gets his job back for correctly determining that there wasn't sufficient cause to prosecute George Zimmerman in the shooting of Trayvon Martin.Replies: @Forbes
Note to Stetler- It’s no longer a secret.
It’s funny that the media treats the doctor’s note as gospel. As if a very wealthy person couldn’t pay a doctor to say whatever he wants. Remember Michael Jackson? If we want to be serious about this health stuff, both candidates should go to a doctor they don’t know and agree beforehand to release the results.
Either the cough could not be treated, or she has picked a less than stellar physician and never sought a second opinion.Replies: @Jus' Sayin'...
9/11 anniversary was a huge public appearance that she had to make. Her medical team must have prepped like crazy to get her through the ordeal and she still collapsed.
Huge dilemma for the campaign now with eight weeks to go. They will have zero confidence of her passing muster in public appearances without a radical change in her treatment. But if it’s Parkinson’s, and Huma email researching Provigil points to that, then alt treatments are risky.
This episode will also erode Hillary’s confidence. Good chance team Clinton pulls her out of public appearances. It weakens her poll numbers but doesn’t tank them.
So strategy: hide her for eight weeks and try to devastate Trump with an October surprise. She could still win.
People can mentally will themselves through important events under pretty severe impairment. This does not look good. If her frailty persists, it will be machine politics versus the personal appeal of a candidate. I cringe at the implications of the Democrats pulling someone that ill over the line.Replies: @Clyde
First “overheating”, then “dehydration”, then fainting, now it’s pneumonia: they can’t make their minds up.
It might even be pneumonia: how many many neurological illnesses tend to cause pneumonia in their sufferers?
But, but, but … if it was a known case of pneumonia, what the Hellary was she doing standing around for an hour and a half at a ceremony?
Odder and odder.
So she can either admit she was hiding the pneumonia and willing to infect others to do it, or admit it wasn't really pneumonia.Replies: @SPMoore8, @CalDre
Exceptions exist, including chronic alcoholism, which Steve, and the NYT, have suggested may be the underlying problem. I agree it's a reasonable possibility. Alcoholism is a multi-system disease, so there are a lot of factors in alcoholics that contribute to problems like pneumonia, not just purely neurological reasons, eg the way ALS predisposes to pneumonia.
BTW, mycoplasmal pneumonia, which constitutes about 50% of community-acquired pneumonia and which she almost certainly has if she really has pneumonia (since most of the other bugs that cause it are more acutely disabling), is perfectly consistent with standing around for 90 minutes at a ceremony, especially if they started her on antibiotics on Friday.Replies: @Lurker

Be as it may, her body is now so deplorable that come election day it will drag itself to the voting booth and cast a vote for Trump.
It’s not over for her yet. It can still be spun.
‘Ok, Ok, you got us – Hillary’s suffering Pneumonia. There – we’ve finally come clean (like everyone says they want her to).’
‘Pneumonia’s treatable. But we just have go a little easier on her while she recovers. Don’t be surprised she can’t show her face so much, or she can’t control her coughing (say, during a debate), or she appears low-energy (you would be, too, on powerful, but temporary, antibiotics!)’
‘In fact, isn’t it a testament to her courage and resolve that’s she willing and able to keep campaigning against such a (temporary) handicap?’
‘Vote for Hillary. Don’t worry. By inauguration, she’ll be over it and back to herself.’
At best, I’d assume/hope it finally eliminates her modest, but persistent, edge in the polls.
What do the press/DNC/elites know about Hillary’s health and when did they know it?
The story’s been revised. It was “overheating,” now it’s “pneumonia.”
What else have they got?
“Overheated” = probably spiking fever, if the pneumonia diagnosis is true.
LBJ finished his first congressional campaign riding a florid case of appendicitis. Accounts vary as to whether the thing had burst by the time they got it out of him. You can Google a photo of him looking like death in a hospital bed but with a big shit eating grin because he won the election.
There are a lot of parallels between Hillary and LBJ. God help us if she shows us her gallbladder scar.

She would have been contagious from her mouth at least, and she should have worn a mask over mouth and nose, or stood well away from everyone else.
So she can either admit she was hiding the pneumonia and willing to infect others to do it, or admit it wasn’t really pneumonia.
If she had contagious pneumonia, her entire staff and Secret Service agents would need to be protected. This means they all know it is aspiration pneumonia.

So is Hillary really prone to illness, or does she just have the worst luck ever, and came down with this pneumonia right before a major public event, in the most crucial few months of her life, just as insane conspiracy theorists (paid by the Kremlin) are spreading totally unfounded rumors about her health?
Is anyone thinking the post overheat/pneumonia Hillary was a double? This entire health issue and being thrown in a van “like a side of beef” as some have humorously described is strange enough, but could things be really getting that weird? The communists used to pull these type of shenanigans, but could Hillary’s team be using that playbook?? Interesting times.
I have an idea for a political cartoon which someone will probably do.
Backview of the black van Hillary was driven off in. On it is her “H” logo with the arrow. Ahead, on the corner, is the “H” logo with an arrow indicating the direction of the nearest hospital.
Well the reason IMO is that she has these incidents frequently, they are called "freezing" and it is a symptom of Parkinson's Disease.Replies: @Paul Walker Most beautiful man ever...
They’re not unfounded. Taking 4 day weekends at this point in an election inherently suggests health issues.
This whole thing was done on the West Wing with MS. Basically the same scenario is playing out in reality.
Ok, how about this conspiracy....Hillary recently met with her ultrarich fundraiser friends, including Hollywood. The perfect people to cast a body double, make-up, etc. for when Hillary needs to be at least seen for a short time but isn't up for it like today. The more people involved makes it harder to stay quiet, but the Clinton Foundation has plenty of hush money around. She did look suspiciously thinner in the afternoon.
So she can either admit she was hiding the pneumonia and willing to infect others to do it, or admit it wasn't really pneumonia.Replies: @SPMoore8, @CalDre
Contagiousness aside, simple prudence would indicate staying away from other people in public and not going within ten miles of her two year old granddaughter.
If she had pneumonia. Which she doesn’t.
And it raises the question of how much stamina she would bring to the White House. 3 day weeks? 3 AM phone calls? No. She quite evidently does not have the strength and physical stamina to do that job for four years.
Talk about careful message framing as a distraction:
No, I would agree. Because what’s the “secret”?
The real question is what’s actually wrong with her, and “the press” should be on full-court press on this.
Trump should tweet his best wishes and offer to suspend campaigning for a day as a gesture. On his day off he could swim the Yangtze. Too much? Ok, maybe just play 18 holes up at Westchester with his pals and let them ‘leak’ that Trump broke 80 and took the money.

Now she’s just Illary.
As far as the MSM is concerned, these are all unfounded rumors and Hillary will be in “vigorous good health” until the day we read about her “sudden and shocking death”. Then years later when some other flunkie is safely in power it will be OK to tell the real story of how the Clintons hid her illness for years.
She obviously felt well enough to hug that little girl outside Webb Hubbell’s daughter’s apartment. Or will she be liable for intentional infection of a kid? Nothing a few million from The Foundation wouldn’t make go away.
So assume the kid's parents got paid in advance. Anyway, neuro-trauma, or Parkinsons, or kuru aren't that transmissible.
if she had pneumonia that bad she would be in the hospital (been there done that) not walking around on the street two hours later .
Both collapsing (freezing) and (non-contagious aspiration) pneumonia are symptoms of Parkinson's Disease and the drug used to treat it.
Thus she may have pneumonia due to Parkinson's but her collapse was due to her freezing due to her Parkinson's.Replies: @Triumph104
I need to look that up. I am sure her team is well aware, so not outlandish to think they would use that as a template.

The big Black dude with the diazapam pen (?) is next to here again.
If Hillary does turn out to have major known but undisclosed health problems I hope the doctors who have been shilling for her have their reputations destroyed.
Many people on the right get tripped up by such circumstances. Imagine how your typical Hillary supporter thinks of James Comey. Effectively, he saved her bacon, so the typical Dem thinks Comey is the greatest thing since sliced bread--same with this doctor.
It's not facts or logic or reasoning. It's politics--it all depends whose ox is being gored.

BTW that big black guy that hangs around her, was the same medical specialist that hung around Bill Clinton after he had open heart surgery.
Few are asking the question is why does she need a full time medical assistant shadowing her when she's out and about.
The only people I know with a full time nurse are very sick or messed up like Gabby Giffords.

Practically all serious neurological diseases place patients at risk for pneumonia, but not at a stage where the patient is attending events and giving speeches.
Exceptions exist, including chronic alcoholism, which Steve, and the NYT, have suggested may be the underlying problem. I agree it’s a reasonable possibility. Alcoholism is a multi-system disease, so there are a lot of factors in alcoholics that contribute to problems like pneumonia, not just purely neurological reasons, eg the way ALS predisposes to pneumonia.

I wondered that, too. Given the nearby crowd, could be anything. But it sounds like a cry of distress just as she falls forward (Hillary?)
And is that her doctor in the blue dress holding her hand on the walk to her vehicle (Lisa Bardack)?
And if it’s now ‘pneumonia’, diagnosed days ago, whose idea was it to return to Chelsea’s apartment (doesn’t she have two very little kids?), and to hold hands with the little girl outside for a photo-op? Isn’t pneumonia at least a little contagious?
Of course, if they’re admitting pneumonia, it’s worse than that.
There is no way that Hillary would not have had the cough treated if it could have been treated. It’s been interfering with her ability to speak at campaign appearances and interviews for several months, and it has caused people to question if she is well enough for office.
Either the cough could not be treated, or she has picked a less than stellar physician and never sought a second opinion.
Pneumonia is serious but treatable. There is something more going on here. Anyone who's paid any serious attention to how the Clintons operate knows that their standard disinformation operation is now going into full swing.
Murdoch News in Oz seem to be avidly following your blog: Hillary Clinton’s pneumonia battle fuels conspiracy theories about her ability to become US President
HILLARY Clinton’s near collapse overnight has instantly converted one of the right’s anti-Clinton conspiracy theories about the presidential hopeful’s perilous health into a central campaign issue.
Ms Clinton’s near collapse at a high profile 9/11 memorial event came just a week after she suffered a coughing fit at a rally in Ohio, giving the Trump camp fresh material to claim she is unfit for presidential duties.
Right wing conspiracy theories that Ms Clinton suffers undocumented seizures have never been proven with medical evidence, however even Mr Trump himself has called on his opponent to release her health records.

WHAT HAPPENS IF HILLARY DROPS OUT OF THE RACE?
Should Mrs Clinton drop out of the race, the Democratic National Committee must fill her vacancy.
Rules state that there would be a special meeting and that all members of the DNC would be able to vote.
There would not be another round of primaries and the matter would be decided within the party.

WHAT IS PNEUMONIA?
HOW IS IT TREATED?
Fairfax and News Limited are very worried about not only their candidate surviving but events seem to be overwhelming their control of the narrative. Too many damn foreigners keep telling the public the truth.

Does Paul McGeough read your blog too? He’s just written a furiously shilling update: Hillary Clinton’s health stumble cracks open the transparency issue
Trump surrogates and the real, if marginal, world of internet-based conspiracy theorists have ensured that Clinton’s health bubbles as an issue below the campaign radar – down to near-hysterical claims that one of the Secret Service agents who accompanies her, is a doctor; and the flashlight he carries is in fact, a Diazepam pen.
Americans love to diagnose their own ailments on the basis of what they read on the internet – so why not unfounded ailments, from Parkinson’s disease and radiation poisoning to cancer and aphasia, that might afflict a potential president?
Well I don’t know about Yanks and internet medical diagnosis but apparently us Ozzies have it real strong: Australian Medical Association warns about internet self diagnosis

There are different types of pneumonia. Parkinson’s sufferers like Hillary usually get aspiration pneumonia, which is not contagious. The cause of the pneumonia is similar to the cause of coughing fits: the deterioration of the part of the brain responsible for complex motor control causes the patient to swallow down her windpipe, which both causes long coughing fits, and can cause pneumonia. Indeed aspiration pneumonia is a leading cause of death of Parkinson’s sufferers.
If she had contagious pneumonia, her entire staff and Secret Service agents would need to be protected. This means they all know it is aspiration pneumonia.

What’s bizarre under the pneumonia only explanation is that they did not take her to a hospital after basically falling comatose in the street. Let’s remember she has had blood clots, and how were they to know she wasn’t having another, or a stroke?

Not necessarily. She could have pneumonia but that did not have to be the cause of her collapsing.
Both collapsing (freezing) and (non-contagious aspiration) pneumonia are symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease and the drug used to treat it.
Thus she may have pneumonia due to Parkinson’s but her collapse was due to her freezing due to her Parkinson’s.

CNN has never been a news network in the way most people think of that.

Before being treated I fainted at least three times — something I had never done before — because the coughing so wracked my body. However, after I got treatment with an appropriate antibiotic and a Hydrocodone-based cough syrup the cough disappeared within a day. After a week of bed rest I was back at work, although a weakness and lassitude persisted for months.
Pneumonia is serious but treatable. There is something more going on here. Anyone who’s paid any serious attention to how the Clintons operate knows that their standard disinformation operation is now going into full swing.
They'll get a fulsome apology when Sanford, Florida's former Police Chief Bill Lee Jr. gets his job back for correctly determining that there wasn't sufficient cause to prosecute George Zimmerman in the shooting of Trayvon Martin.Replies: @Forbes
Hell freezing over is more likely…
People can mentally will themselves through important events under pretty severe impairment. This does not look good. If her frailty persists, it will be machine politics versus the personal appeal of a candidate. I cringe at the implications of the Democrats pulling someone that ill over the line.Replies: @Clyde
Whatever election day vote fraud Hillary/The Democrat Party/State and County Democrat parties were planning. They will now plan for much more and to intensify efforts. All to paper over the non-appeal of a sick and sicker candidate.
Now you know why Huma sticks so close to her to comfort and support Hillary in every way.
And evil lawyer/fixer Cheryl Mills completes Hillary’s triumvirate. Being a lawyer is a big plus when engaged in Democrat skullduggery.
The attending physician has been named in the media several times already, which means her patients have already been boasting that they see the same doctor as Hillary. There’s probably a waiting list for appointments at this point. This is a major reputational enhancement that is unlikely to be undone for any reason.
Many people on the right get tripped up by such circumstances. Imagine how your typical Hillary supporter thinks of James Comey. Effectively, he saved her bacon, so the typical Dem thinks Comey is the greatest thing since sliced bread–same with this doctor.
It’s not facts or logic or reasoning. It’s politics–it all depends whose ox is being gored.
Good point. She does look like she’s being carried out of a bar at 2 AM (even down to losing a shoe). But she must be really good at hiding her drinking, since her staff should know her weakness and keep her sober.
Plus quality has fallen so far that our own googling is more accurate.Replies: @BenKenobi
What, graduates of the Upstairs Calcutta Medical College aren’t good enough for you?
Oh, she probably has pneumonia, but it’s aspiration pneumonia, not contagious pneumonia.
Not like she’s using that brain space.
Here’s a link to a site that has more information about Hillary’s health than I have been able to find anywhere else. The site’s conclusion? Hillary has Parkinson’s …

So now Clinton’s health is a source of concern to the MSM eh?
Thank you CNN, the NYT, WaPo and to all those out there in Agitprop Central for letting us know that Hillary Clinton has, uh, health issues
Just like Bill’s staff kept him away from “bimbos”. Anyone with any knowledge or experience of addiction knows that addicts are past masters at getting around protector/enablers and anything else that stands between them and their jones.
Just in:
“The Democratic National Committee has announced Hillary Clinton is still not dead. Updates to follow.”
The kid was a plant. No one, not even cute kids, gets through a Secret Service cordon. It was total astroturf.
So assume the kid’s parents got paid in advance. Anyway, neuro-trauma, or Parkinsons, or kuru aren’t that transmissible.

Hate to rain on your parade, but her symptoms don’t match progressive Parkinson’s. I’ve known two people who’ve gotten it, and watched it progress from the get-go. When it starts, you are very easily tired, and irritable. Slowly, your face goes dead, and you get shakes in one or both of your hands. You get reduced to about two emotions: tired and disgusted. If you laugh, it’s a very tired or disgusted laugh. You’re tired all the time, partly because you don’t stop moving all night while you’re sleeping, or trying to sleep.
When Parkinson’s hits, it’s easy to identify. It’s a mother fucker disease. Also, if she had it, she would quit the race, even though she’s probably a sociopath. There’s no way to fake being okay.
Parkinson’s, along with the coughing, would explain Hillary’s need for a urinary catheter.
As Parkinson’s advances the probability for urinary problems increases. A third of those with Parkinson’s may experience urinary problems such as frequent urges to go and incomplete bladder emptying/urinary retention. About 15% suffer from urinary incontinence.

Forbes, Of course, she is not on “her death bed”, maybe just a hammock or a LaZboy recliner.
Hepp, So Trump should go to an Ob/Gyn? Reminds me of a favorite tee shirt I saw….”I’m not a Gynecologist, but I’ll take a look.”
'Ok, Ok, you got us - Hillary's suffering Pneumonia. There - we've finally come clean (like everyone says they want her to).'
'Pneumonia's treatable. But we just have go a little easier on her while she recovers. Don't be surprised she can't show her face so much, or she can't control her coughing (say, during a debate), or she appears low-energy (you would be, too, on powerful, but temporary, antibiotics!)'
'In fact, isn't it a testament to her courage and resolve that's she willing and able to keep campaigning against such a (temporary) handicap?'
'Vote for Hillary. Don't worry. By inauguration, she'll be over it and back to herself.'
At best, I'd assume/hope it finally eliminates her modest, but persistent, edge in the polls.Replies: @Buffalo Joe
mobi, Yes, pneumonia is treatable , as I well know, with antibiotics. But antibiotic use comes with a laundry list of warnings and side effects. Maybe Hillary stopped taking them for the 9/11 memorial so she wouldn’t look tired and drowsy, and that could explain the dark blue sun glasses. But do you take antibiotics with antihistamines, or a early shot of alcohol ? I think she thought she could make it through the event but bolted when she felt an episode, of whatever, coming on.

The important thing to remember here is that Mrs. Clinton never lost consciousness, even while her limp body was being dragged into the van. The ability to retain consciousness is a solid indicator of vibrant health.
Hillary is an inspiration to all pneumonia sufferers everywhere. She's out there, alive and vital, kicking pneumonia asses, showing it what's what.

Proper medication can prevent a lot of what you are claiming are the “inevitable” signs of Parkinson’s. And as with any other disease, symptoms vary per person, on the stage of the disease, on medication, etc.
Michael J Fox was not as you describe, while on his meds.
