From the New York Times:

Black Virginia Girl Says White Classmates Cut Her Dreadlocks on Playground

The police said they were investigating a report by 12-year-old AA that three white students forcibly cut portions of her hair at their Christian school.

By Christine Hauser and Neil Vigdor
Sept. 27, 2019

The police in Northern Virginia are investigating a report by a black 12-year-old girl that three white boys in her grade held her down, covered her mouth and cut off lengths of her dreadlocks on a playground at their private Christian school.

The girl, AA, who is in sixth grade,

I’m going to leave out the 12-year-old girl’s name because, well, she’s 12. I’ll just call her A.

and her family said the assault happened on Monday during recess on the playground of the school, Immanuel Christian School in Springfield.

They said the three boys, whom they would not name, had been bullying A since the start of the school year in August.

“They put me on the ground,” A said on Friday in a phone interview. “One of them put my hands behind my back. One put his hands over my mouth. One cut my hair. They were saying that my hair was ugly, that it was nappy.”

… The school said it had no record of A previously being bullied, according to an email sent Friday on behalf of Mr. Danish.

Cynthia A, who is A’s grandmother and legal guardian, said in an interview on Friday that A was initially hesitant to tell her what happened to her hair, but that on Wednesday she finally broke down crying about the episode.

“They called her ugly and told her she should not be alive,” Ms. A said. “They said she shouldn’t have been born.”

Ms. A said that the family immediately reported the assault to the police and that the middle school principal called her Wednesday night to ask if she had filed a report and for the name of the police officer involved.

“I said, ‘No sir, I’m not giving you that information,’ ” Ms. A said.

A said that she did not know what had prompted the boys to start bullying her in August, and that she was too traumatized to open up about the assault at first.

“I was afraid that they would do something bad to me,” A, who has attended the school for eight years, said. “I was afraid that the teachers wouldn’t do anything.”

A said the boys had previously taken away her lunches.

“They would eat it in front of me and say that I didn’t deserve to eat — that I should just starve.”

A’s grandparents, who are both church pastors, have kept her home since the family met with school officials on Thursday morning. She said she missed her friends and had school work to catch up on.

“I actually really like the school,” she said.

Immanuel Christian School is a private Christian school that enrolls kindergartners through eighth graders at its campus in Springfield, which is 15 miles southwest of Washington. Karen Pence, the wife of Vice President Mike Pence, accepted a part-time art teaching position there in January.

So, therefore, after Trump is impeached and convicted, then VP Pence must resign over Napgate, making Nancy Pelosi … President!

Immanuel Christian’s website — which describes the school’s expectations of students, parents and guardians, and its employees — says that it does not accept gay students and that it requires employees to affirm that marriage should be between one man and one woman.

See, it all ties together! There’s a seamless Web of Hate that ties together homophobia, the Pences, and how privileged white males obsess over their hatred of black women’s hair.

What % of the story is true? If Jussie was 0% true this maybe 2% true. Possibly as high as 5% true. In short, she may have had an argument w a few white boys...that’s the extent of the truth.

The Census Bureau says 68% of the population of the Springfield district of Fairfax County is white, and 65% of the school-age population as well. About 30% of the population of Fairfax County lives in areas where whites are a minority of the school age population, but < 1% lives in the small number of black-majority knots.

    As I commented on twitter:

What makes it all so believable is that this crime happens almost everyday somewhere in an American private Christian school black people pay $12,000 a year to go to. Jesus wept.

Why wouldn’t they tell him the name of the officer? The school will know it soon enough when the investigation gets into gear. And why the hostility toward the principle? It almost sounds like the claim of a police report may be fake … but certainly they are not stupid enough to just make something like that up and tell it to the New York Times. The Times will ask around at the police station and figure out in short order they were lying, following up with a huge front page story about a hate hoax … oh, wait a minute … maybe not. It will just fade away … no followup … not really a local story anyway, why’d we even print it …

Puts me in mind of the old “Miracle Monopoly Cheating Kit” from the National Lampoon. They gave you cards to paste over the existing board- but, since it would be odd to show up to a Monopoly game with a jar of paste, you needed to carry a container with you wherever you went for about a month before, thus arousing no suspicion when you came to play with a bottle of Elmer’s.

Fairfax County has a high concentration of Persians. There are a LOT of swarthy Middle Eastern people in NOVA. I spent some time there in the 90's and the Persians were noticeable even then.

We aren't talking enough about how including Middle Eastern people as white distorts our demographic data. The real white population is several percentage points lower than the official numbers, which is a big deal because it contributes to white complacency.

We must have an accurate count of the real white European population and that is only possible with MENA category on the census. The White European Christian population is probably already down to around 55%. MENA people are probably no less than 3% of the population.

Including MENA people as white also distorts information about the white birthrate.

Ms. A said that the family immediately reported the assault to the police and that the middle school principal called her Wednesday night to ask if she had filed a report and for the name of the police officer involved.

“I said, ‘No sir, I’m not giving you that information,’ ” Ms. A said.

Why wouldn’t they tell him the name of the officer? The school will know it soon enough when the investigation gets into gear. And why the hostility toward the principle? It almost sounds like the claim of a police report may be fake ... but certainly they are not stupid enough to just make something like that up and tell it to the New York Times. The Times will ask around at the police station and figure out in short order they were lying, following up with a huge front page story about a hate hoax ... oh, wait a minute ... maybe not. It will just fade away ... no followup ... not really a local story anyway, why’d we even print it ...

Meanwhile, remember this previous bogus scissors attack on a student’s Muslim headware?:

Toronto family apologises for bogus hijab attack claim
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-42736525

Dozens of articles in Google reporting the attack, only this one reporting it was a hoax by the girl.

And why the hostility toward the principle?

Exactly, the Principal is your pal.

I hope this will help you on your spelling next time.

… On Wednesday, her grandmother was doing her hair when she noticed long portions of it missing. The girl started crying and told the whole story.

She’s a good student and the hair wasn’t cut overall, just some pieces. I don’t think she went to a salon to get a shorter hairstyle. Since she says “was at recess and about to go down a slide when one of the boys grabbed her and put a hand over her mouth. Another boy grabbed her arms. That’s pretty bad, in my opinion.

It will be very interesting to see what happens with this case, that’s for sure. I doubt that any of those 12 year old kids used the word “nappy.” I don’t think I ever said that word in my life and I can’t remember the last time I heard anybody use it.

As a number of analysts have begun to notice, blacks are about 50 times more likely to commit violent crimes against whites than whites are to commit violent crimes against blacks.

... If you divide the total number of black-on-white violent crimes in 1993 (1.29 million) by the number of black males age 20 to 29 in the population in 1993 (3.94 million), you get a ratio equal to 1,013 violent crimes against whites per 10,000 young black males. If you do the same calculation for the total number of white-on-black crimes (186,000) divided by the total number of twenty-something white males (22.9 million), you get a ratio of 17.6 violent crimes committed by whites against blacks for every 10,000 young white males. Thus, the incidence of interracial black-on-white violent crime by young black males (1,013) is 57.5 times the incidence of interracial white-on-black crime by young white males (17.6). Using different denominators (for example, white versus black males age 15 to 29) moves the statistic down a bit (in the example given, to 48 to 1). But it clusters around “50 to 1.”

That said, this story (minus the use of the word "nappy") seems generally plausible: kids sometimes do bad things.

And if they did this they should get yelled at and get some detention and say they're sorry and be told that they shouldn't beat up girls and make them cry. It's not like elementary school bullying is a new thing in society.

"All I need do here is to recall the fact that, in the United States, alone among the great nations of history, there is a right way to think and a wrong way to think in everything—not only in theology, or politics, or economics, but in the most trivial matters of everyday life. Thus, in the average American city the citizen who, in the face of an organized public clamour (usually managed by interested parties) for the erection of an equestrian statue of Susan B. Anthony, the apostle of woman suffrage, in front of the chief railway station, or the purchase of a dozen leopards for the municipal zoo, or the dispatch of an invitation to the Structural Iron Workers' Union to hold its next annual convention in the town Symphony Hall—the citizen who, for any logical reason, opposes such a proposal—on the ground, say, that Miss Anthony never mounted a horse in her life, or that a dozen leopards would be less useful than a gallows to hang the City Council, or that the Structural Iron Workers would spit all over the floor of Symphony Hall and knock down the busts of Bach, Beethoven and Brahms—this citizen is commonly denounced as an anarchist and a public enemy."

12 years old is roughly sixth grade, correct?

How many sixth graders still play on slides? How many straight-A, violin-playing 12-year-olds are still playing on slides?

More to the point, in terms of why and how this is even a story: how many White 12-year-old girls, every single day of the school week, are sexually harassed, molested, and even assaulted by their Basketball-American classmates? Mysteriously this is never a story.

As a number of analysts have begun to notice, blacks are about 50 times more likely to commit violent crimes against whites than whites are to commit violent crimes against blacks.

… If you divide the total number of black-on-white violent crimes in 1993 (1.29 million) by the number of black males age 20 to 29 in the population in 1993 (3.94 million), you get a ratio equal to 1,013 violent crimes against whites per 10,000 young black males.

I saw this story on cable news this morning. I am not so sure it is a hoax. This news story says the girl's name is Amari Allen:

Amari — a straight-A student and violin player — said the boys started bullying her at the beginning of the school year. She has attended the school since kindergarten and has always liked it.

... On Wednesday, her grandmother was doing her hair when she noticed long portions of it missing. The girl started crying and told the whole story.

She's a good student and the hair wasn't cut overall, just some pieces. I don't think she went to a salon to get a shorter hairstyle. Since she says "was at recess and about to go down a slide when one of the boys grabbed her and put a hand over her mouth. Another boy grabbed her arms. A third boy cut off some of her hair." there should have been other kids who witnessed this incident.

I just saw another article a few days ago that talk about two bullies in California who ended up beating up and killing another student. Kids today can be vicious for no reason. Let's say this incident actually happened -- and that even at this Christian school that employs the Vice President's wife the victim was too scared to tell and none of the other kids on the playground who witnessed what went on told any at school either. That's pretty bad, in my opinion.

It will be very interesting to see what happens with this case, that's for sure. I doubt that any of those 12 year old kids used the word "nappy." I don't think I ever said that word in my life and I can't remember the last time I heard anybody use it.

There’s no question that MSM amplifies white on black wings and mutes black on… everything wrongs.

That said, this story (minus the use of the word “nappy”) seems generally plausible: kids sometimes do bad things.

And if they did this they should get yelled at and get some detention and say they’re sorry and be told that they shouldn’t beat up girls and make them cry. It’s not like elementary school bullying is a new thing in society.

That critical bit of information should have come from the grandparents' statement but it did not. I have to wonder if the grandparents realize the implications of what it says about her and them that this girl made up an elaborate and boldfaced lie just to avoid their punishment of her for cutting up her hair.

    New York Times:

Virginia Girl Recants Story of Boys Cutting Off Her Dreadlocks

    Steve Sailer, Come on down!

  104. This is my final comment on this, I think.

I found this over at the Daily Mail, which as usual has lots of pictures and details others do not.

    They quote Amari as saying:

Sometimes I think that I don’t deserve to be at a Christian school and that I’m ugly,’ she said.

She also said she felt compassion for the alleged attackers, and said: ‘Something could have happened that made them do this, cause I know that’s like the source of most bullying.’

I can’t help but feel sorry for this girl. Either she’s a coward that didn’t want to face a reasonable and presumably small punishment for cutting her own hair or she was so afraid of what her grandparents were going to do to her that she made up this whole story to avoid their unreasonable punishment. Sad either way.

I hope the boys’ names manage to stay offline and that locally they are left alone and unbullied themselves. If they are named this so-called “crime” will follow them around their whole lives. That’s the nature of the Internet.

It’s hard to be a kid today.

I came back here when I read over at Yahoo that the story was a hoax because I wrote above that I thought it might be true. I was wrong. I was right though when I said "It will be very interesting to see what happens with this case, that’s for sure."

The local NBC story linked by William Badwhite says something that some of the other stories don't: that Amari "admitted to school officials she was not attacked and cut her own hair, her family's attorney and the school said." That critical bit of information should have come from the grandparents' statement but it did not. I have to wonder if the grandparents realize the implications of what it says about her and them that this girl made up an elaborate and boldfaced lie just to avoid their punishment of her for cutting up her hair.

It goes on to say: "During the investigation of the girl's accusations, security camera video showed where people were at the time of the alleged attack, the family's attorney said, and it became clear the girl's account could not be true based on the day and time she said it happened."

I am very relieved to hear that the three innocent boys in this case have been cleared and are now considered the victims.

Whatever my personality flaws (and there are plenty), trust me when I say very few people would like the people I worked with. They are deeply toxic human beings.

I never said they didn’t like me, and I don’t appreciate you lying about what I said. They do like me in their own deeply dysfunctional ways, and I think most people could understand not wanting to be around everyone who happens to like their company. If you can’t understand that then maybe you’re the one whom other people don’t want to be around.

And I hope Sailer sees your obsequious defense of him, bro, but I doubt he will reward you as you might desire.

And to Sailer, please excuse my occasional venomous outbursts, but I really do think you haven't been bullied enough in life. I consider my services a form of unsolicited, but extremely valuable, therapy. Remember that during your donation drives before you label me niggardly.

They were mean to you because they DID like you, got it.

And I hope Sailer sees your obsequious defense of him, bro,
