Border Patrol begins releasing migrant families on the streets of Yuma

U.S. Border Patrol officials in Arizona said they have started releasing migrant families from their custody into the streets of Yuma because processing centers can’t cope with the large numbers of arriving families and minors.
Community groups in the Yuma area have set up temporary facilities to house the families and to provide food and shelter while they assist migrants with travel plans to leave the border city.
The Border Patrol issued a statement Thursday announcing its decision, which followed the lead of officials in the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas, who last week began releasing families from their custody.
Sure, “migrants.” Sure, “migrant families.”

In today’s Arizona Republic, the only place I have seen reporting on this phenomenon of ICE releasing immigrants into cities, the numbers are staggering, San Diego 9,000 immigrants released, Phoenix 14,500, El Paso 24,000, etc. How the hell do nine thousand immigrants survive in San Diego, we lived there for over twenty-five years. It the Republic newspaper there have been a couple of stories about the Border Patrol or ICE dropping off immigrants at the local Greyhound bus stations. Why does this not get reported, but some immigrants, few in comparison held under a bridge in El Paso makes the national news?
Mexico has warned that a much larger caravan of Central American invaders is assembling.

About 20% of Hondurans and 30% of Salvadorians are already in the USA.
Unlike Mexicans, or immigrants from such awful places as Japan and Poland, Salvadorians and Hondurans can get work permits and free health care because of “Temporary” Protected Status.
Of all Trump’s failures to take executive action, not immediately ending all TPS designations was the worst.
ICE doesn’t even try to deport illegals from these countries outside of felons. Even those who never formally applied for TPS can do so if ICE catches them.

I have been hearing high numbers for El Salvador for years. I would put their number at 25%-30%. Your Honduras is high. Honduras is off and away from most of Central America. Our local hospitals have had Guatemalan patients who don’t speak Spanish, let alone English. Two interpreters are required to even talk to them. (as an added bonus, some of them have anti-biotic resistant TB too).

I witnessed, in person, a woman having to have a physician explain to her that she should stop giving her child acetaminophen because he had a minor upper respiratory infection. The physician was explaining that acetaminophen alleviates fevers, inflammation, and pain – none of which were present in the instant case. The woman only knew (or thought she knew, anyway) that "Tylenol helps when one is sick" the way cargo cults know airplanes bring goodies. It inspired a lot of pathos, and not of a contemptuous sort. These people truly are beyond help and hope. And they will fill and rule the Earth in about fifty or a hundred years as Europeans refuse to reproduce.

This administration’s undue deference to inferior courts regarding immigration is a massive part of the problem. If the courts had ruled that no, the FAA could not ban that Boeing plane from the sky, would the administration had just rolled over? No. Yet the courts give themselves powers they are not allowed by statute and the admin makes some angry noises before doing what they’re told.

The business about resistant pathogens will balloon exponentially as the invasion proceeds. Because they are so ignorant and stupid, many (most?) of these people think drugs or medicine are some kind of magic voodoo, and should be applied to everything. Oh, they realise that medicine is about smart people who figured stuff out in a laboratory and such, don’t get me wrong, but they don’t (can’t, really) understand nuances about how rapidly microorganisms evolve and the concomitant importance of using drugs only when truly necessary and then in a way to ensure all the affected pathogens are completely destroyed (not merely weakened or reduced enough to alleviate their own immediate problems but leaving the hardier survivors to reproduce those very characteristics that made them survive when all others died). Explaining this kind of stuff to most of these people is as hopeless as explaining nuclear fission to your dog.
Some of them don’t even grasp that medicine is not some kind of general panacea. I witnessed, in person, a woman having to have a physician explain to her that she should stop giving her child acetaminophen because he had a minor upper respiratory infection. The physician was explaining that acetaminophen alleviates fevers, inflammation, and pain – none of which were present in the instant case. The woman only knew (or thought she knew, anyway) that “Tylenol helps when one is sick” the way cargo cults know airplanes bring goodies. It inspired a lot of pathos, and not of a contemptuous sort. These people truly are beyond help and hope. And they will fill and rule the Earth in about fifty or a hundred years as Europeans refuse to reproduce.
Mr. Anon, another note on the Nazi/whatever LARPing thing… I’m fond of saying I was alt-right before there was an alt-right, but one thing I didn’t prefigure or foresee is the brilliant way in which the alt-right handled the bad optics/LARPing issue (back in the day I called it “subculture,” but “LARPing” is much funnier). My take was always that we needed to disavow and divest from the LARPers, but the alt-right did something much more clever, and made a joke out of it.
