As I’ve been mentioning for awhile, the last two Black Power moments (late 1960s, early 1990s) got cancelled over black anti-Semitism.
For example, the rap group Public Enemy and the director Spike Lee were praised in the late 1980s when it was assumed by white elites that their phrase “Fight the Power” referred to fighting merely whites in general, especially working class whites like the NYPD:
But in the 1990s it became clear that both felt that Jews tended to be particularly powerful whites, especially in the entertainment industry, so the Public Enemy-Spike Lee-NWA-Minister Farrakhan era got shut down for getting uppity toward Jews.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out this time.
Here’s an amusing new dialog between Professor Griff of Public Enemy and a somewhat younger black celebrity Nick Cannon, who was married to Mariah Carey and is more of a mainstream TV star than a black-only name: e.g., he’s a singing contest judge, that sort of thing. Nick echoes the 1990s views of professor Leonard Jeffries about Ice People vs. Sun People that John Derbyshire has always found rather evocative:

Mr. Cannon’s dismissal by ViacomCBS came after the star wide receiver DeSean Jackson was fined and disciplined by the Philadelphia Eagles last week for sharing an anti-Semitic quotation attributed to Hitler.
On the June 30 episode of the podcast, Mr. Cannon was interviewing the rapper Richard Griffin, known as Professor Griff, about his dismissal from the hip-hop group Public Enemy in 1989.
Mr. Griffin left the group after he said in an interview with The Washington Times: “The Jews are wicked. And we can prove this.” He also said that Jews were responsible for “the majority of wickedness that goes on across the globe.”
Speaking to Mr. Cannon, Mr. Griffin doubled down on his past remarks about the influence of Jewish people on the music and media industries.
“I’m hated now because I told the truth,” Mr. Griffin said.
“You’re speaking facts,” Mr. Cannon said. “There’s no reason to be scared of anything when you’re speaking the truth.”
Mr. Cannon said it was an honor to have the “legend” Mr. Griffin on his podcast. He also said it was a shame that Louis Farrakhan, a minister known for his history of anti-Semitic comments, had been silenced on Facebook.
Responding to Mr. Griffin’s contention that six dominant media companies were controlled by Jewish people, Mr. Cannon said it was comparable to the power of the Rothschilds, the banking scions who are a focus of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
“I find myself wanting to debate this idea and it gets real wishy and washy and unclear for me when we give so much power to the ‘theys,’ and ‘theys’ then turn into illuminati, the Zionists, the Rothchilds,” Mr. Cannon said later in the podcast.
He also echoed Mr. Griffin’s remarks about how Black people are Semitic people by definition and that Semitic people are not white.
“You can’t be anti-Semitic when we are the Semitic people,” Mr. Cannon said. “That’s our birthright. So if that’s truly our birthright, there’s no hate involved.”
Just remember, anti-Semitism is a THING. Anti-whiteism or anti-gentilism … are we even sure how to spell those words?

Maybe I’m naive, but I think this could be an Achilles heel for the left. If Tucker Carlson–who briefly mentioned on his show that anti-white attitudes are kind of like anti-Semitism–realizes how similar Coates’ descriptions of whites (including Jews, whom Coates says are white) are to Hitler’s descriptions of Jews, it could gain traction. “Hey, whites will be outnumbered, disarmed, and…oh…hated the same way Nazis hated Jews.”

I have evidence of blacks permanently staying at reduced levels of logical, organizational and technical skill development no matter what. This may or may not turn out to be the right thing, but for now, there it is. The lack of logical may explain the propensity for picking up completely bonkers conspiracy theories but then there are YTs who are anti-vaxxers and into the "Moon Hoax" which is a sign of being completely bereft of any knowledge about the scientific and engineering world as possible and making shit up to paper over the enormous crevasses.

I remember when Farrakhan and others like him got criticized in the media in the late 80’s-90’s, it started out with charges of being anti-white, then went to anti-white and anti-semitic and then they were only criticized for being anti-semitic. By 2000, even conservatives would usually only bother to call black militants anti-semitic and forgot about them being anti-white.
Conservative media has made jews into a kind of proxy identity for white conservatives. White conservatives get the vicarious thrill of ethnocentrism through advocating for jewish ethnic interests. It’s like Stockholm syndrome, the group that is leading the attack on whites has somehow made whites into cheerleaders for themselves. I think the authors merrily confuses "Meritocracy" and the "Ethnic & Old Boys Network".

For example, per Ron's Myth of Meritocracy article, the numbers for Harvard Students with Jews decoupled from the White category would be about 15% Black; 15% Hispanic; 20% Asian; 25% White; and 25% Jewish. (Don't quote me though, this is from memory).

What’s interesting is the amount of trending this is getting. The average white guy who said this wouldn’t be trending for this long.
Is it because Black Twitter is doing a lot of the talking? Black people really like Nick Cannon. Or is it attracting a lot of histrionics from the media and Bret Weinstein types? Either way the best way to deal with this is to quietly blackball him but they didn’t do that did they? How large an audience does his podcast really have?
But will the black vs. jew power struggle break out into mainstream debate? I think the gatekeepers will keep that from happening.

Yes most Jews are liberal but we are not as monolithic in our politics as blacks. I read on an alt right blog that the majority of married Jewish men voted for Trump. Maybe that exit poll was an outlier but it’s safe to say a higher % of married Jewish men vote Republican compared to white Christian single mothers.

Non-Jews underestimate how much the Holocaust scarred Jews. German Jews tried really, really hard to be fully German in the long 19th Century, zealously serving in WWI for example (such that the Nazis left gravesites for Jewish vets alone), yet look how that ended.

I lived in Asheville for a year and a half from 2014-16. I should have known I made a bad decision in moving there when, literally a week into my residency, I sat in an Indian restaurant and listened to the two young women in the booth next to me blather on and on about what a racist, raping monster Thomas Jefferson was. In July of ’16, soon after I left, a Black guy named Jerry Williams decided to go toe-to-toe with a White cop (literally speaking he tried to go AR-15-to-AR-15 with the cop). Not surprisingly, he lost. Of course the local Blacks and their handlers went berserk. They finally calmed down some when the two Black women who were with him during the encounter gave statements supporting the cop. One of the more interesting aspects of this case was the lengths his supporters went to to ‘humanize’ Mr. Williams. His family even produced the manuscript of a children’s book that Jerry had supposedly written when he was a teenager. Now, based on all the other information I had learned about this guy, he was probably semi-literate at best and this was almost certainly a hoax. But, I had to admire the originality of this clever little ploy.
The basic question is: if "othering" someone like that is even possible, the "otherness" is quite likely evident. Whether it is objectively a problem is something else. It can be.

There have been Jews in Europe (in Greece and Rome) since the 1st or 2nd century, so yes thousands. Not only were they living there but they became genetically intermixed with the local population (took local women as wives) at a very early date and these are the ancestors of today’s Ashkenazi Jews.

I know many Iowa fans, most are trying to ignore it, but these aren’t people who are attending games in person. The mediocre program doesn’t help them, if they continue churning out 8-5 or worse seasons these people will fade away. I think interest in the NBA among whites is going off a cliff. It’s clearly an American bald eagle and not a German black eagle but whoever did the clip art that they copied to make the shirt from flipped the image of the American eagle so it is looking the wrong way. The American eagle always faces to its right on the Great Seal, etc. Doesn’t it stand out to you and bother you that the eagle is looking the wrong way? No, I’m saying that it is a very recognizable style with its own very strict laws of how to draw things and compose a scene. It’s not random bad art, it’s drawn according to a stylistic tradition that dictates even the very minute details.

I would add that Jews also disproportionately contribute to science and thought that undermines leftism.
Non-Jews underestimate how much the Holocaust scarred Jews. German Jews tried really, really hard to be fully German in the long 19th Century, zealously serving in WWI for example (such that the Nazis left gravesites for Jewish vets alone), yet look how that ended.
The mistake Jews make is assuming that the failure in Germany means a failure of that strategy to work among the English-speaking peoples. Jewish liberals undermining Anglo-Protestant majoritarianism may be the most stupidly self-defeating move in Jewish history in the long run, destroying Israel and the Diaspora.
