My latest Taki’s Magazine column is about two lighter fluid-fueled arsons, one alleged and one documented, that are both said to have taken place around 1 AM on June 24 in downtown Madison during the Mostly Peaceful Riot:

  • the internationally publicized but vaguely explained racist hate crime against Althea Bernstein by four “classic Wisconsin frat boys,”
  • and the little publicized but well-documented fire-bombing of the City County Government building. Today, Channel3000 reports

Man arrested in connection to City County Building arson attack, police say
Posted: July 1, 2020 2:45 PM
Updated: July 1, 2020 5:15 PM by Stephen Cohn, Brandon Arbuckle

MADISON, Wis. — A person of interest in an arson attack on the City County Building was arrested Tuesday night by Madison police.

According to an incident report, Marquon M. Clark, 26, of Madison, was taken into custody on a probation hold following a traffic stop near Verona Road.

Officials said while officers were trying to stop Clark’s car, the driver of a pickup truck following behind Clark’s car intentionally swerved at a marked Madison police car. …

The truck’s driver, Conner M. Fleck, 25, of Pardeeville, was arrested for second-degree recklessly endangering safety.

Perhaps the Madison cops should ask Marquon and and Conner if they can shed any light on the still unsolved mystery of how Althea Bernstein wound up at the ER talking about lighter fluid burns on her face.

As I wrote in Taki’s:

But riots sound like fun when you are 18, especially after going stir-crazy during the lockdown. And, of greatest importance for an 18-year-old girl, at a riot there are always boys.

You just can’t hold a good riot without boys.

Mug Shot 1: Stupid trying to look smart (see photos of virtually all 20th century negro intellectuals and writers, with the exception of Langston Hughes)

Mug Shot 2: Stupid and satisfied, Stupid doesn't care what you think; Stupid also cannot conceive what you think. (will probably become the norm for 21st century negroes; listen to them already.)

I once said to a psychiatrist, The opposite of "happy" is not "sad" or "unhappy"; the opposite of happy is dissatisfied.

Same math works with "satisfied"; if you do the algebra you can find the equivalent opposites for stupid and smart, viz, they aren't the first things you woulda thought.

Some years ago, as a part of a project that fell through for other reasons, I visited an abandoned asylum and surrounding estate. Besides the main building, there were outlying farm and garden camps with well constructed, but not winterized, living quarters. This was all set in a bucolic park-like setting that recalled noble estates of premodern Europe. Generally the quality of land and buildings was above what you might find at, say, a state park.

Having been raised on the media trope of the "horrors of institutionalization", I was surprised at how idyllic this institution looked. Obviously, much of one's experience at such a place is going to depend on the staff and their actions, but of course that is still true today and meanwhile, after de-institutionalization, the physical environment of people who would formerly have inhabited that institution is much worse: vegetative "group homes" or, more usually, the street.

In Madison interracial gangs have been a thing for a while.

About a decade ago there were arrests from a drive by gang shooting. Nobody hurt. The shooters and shootees were all in South Side Chicago based gangs. Only one of the arrested shooters was black. One was white, another Hmong. I can’t remember if there was a Hispanic shooter or not.

Race relations in Madison are a little different from Chicago.

    Money quote:

“A caravan of protesters — some wielding plastic pitchforks — descended on the Hamptons Wednesday to blast the rich and decry the nation’s rising income inequality.

More than 100 drivers and about 200 marchers paid a visit to the homes of some of the world’s wealthiest people, including ex-New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg.

“Tax the rich, not the poor!” the protesters chanted outside Bloomberg’s $20 million Southhampton mansion, with some calling the failed presidential candidate a “looter.”

Members of the Shinnecock Indian Nation also took part in the protest, including Rebecca Genia, who said in a statement that “Billionaires take our land to build golf courses and mansions, profit from the ravages of coronavirus, and exploit our labor.”

“It’s clear the real looters in New York are billionaires — and it’s time to make them pay their fair share so we can all thrive.”

The group also stopped by mansions owned by Blackstone CEO Steven Schwarzman and real estate developer Stephen Ross, and had planned to visit the estate of investor and hedge fund manager Daniel Loeb.

“Billionaires are experts in social distancing,” Nascimento told The Post. “They’ve chosen to live in their own world and are separate from realities of everyday people and the people whose lives they have a tremendous impact on.”

Taking the protest to the wealthy enclave shows that, “We are here. We are affected and not going to stand down. We’re going to make sure our voices are heard.” ”

Awesome, Loeb and Bloomy and the rest are now easy targets. If much of this caste play has been the lower Upper Class, journolist and ill paid media types and various academic people egging on trust fund antifa and blacks against middle and working class Whites and others, well its a lot easier to loot Bloomy than it is a million middle class White people. Bloomie will have to pay up, and pay up in billions. Which he will. Almost certainly bLACK lives matter will make and get a claim to the Hamptons, along with the Indians. After all, they have absolute moral authority and what is better, to take a billionaire’s mansion or some crummy ranch house in the suburbs. This has been the most hilarious and entertaining result to date.

Meanwhile the NYT compares the US to Nazi Germany and India’s Caste System, unfavorably I might add, days before the 4th of July. And calls for blasting away Mount Rushmore. Even Instapundit is ticked off, he of the bLACK in laws, and has featured a hilarious video of some ultra bLACK dude trying rob a nail salon run by a Hispanic? (hard to tell in the video) lady who ushers out the customers and locks the dude in the store. He’s arrested too. Instapundit also has video of NYC anti-fa lighting a flag on fire, with NYC cops using an extinguisher and the anti-fa threatening the cops. NYC is spiraling out of control, anti-fa took over the area around City Hall and pushed out the cops according to reports. While De Blasio is cutting at least $1 billion from the cops.

Note I predicted De Blasio would do this — turn NYC into Detroit. Once again, I’m sadly proven right. I wish I was wrong more often. But I’m not.

It will be very interesting to see how the Hamptons Billionaires react. Of course they will have to pay up, big time, it was only a matter of time before their pal Soros targeted them, and they are highly visible and a big fat target. What will be even more interesting is how the dark big money, Eastern European, Russian, Chinese oligarchs etc. act against De Blasio and the like devaluing their loot stashed as US urban real estate. These are serious dudes, who go to great lengths to hide their ownership and identity of properties. They won’t be happy with anti-fa making the market value drop by say, half, as NYC turns into Escape from New York. Oliver Burroughs in “Moneyland” makes the argument that it was not Putin but some oligarch associate of his who sent the amateur hour Polonium Tea dudes to poison that Russian exile, and did it because the dude was assisting a law firm in their Magnitsky suits against him and would expose his extensive stash in the West. [What does it say about Chinese and Russian confidence that they stash their money in NYC or London not Moscow or Beijing?]

Its very clear thought that Trump all by himself caused a massive allergic reaction in US society, with all this: anti-fa burning flags, Dems/Media calling for Mount Rushmore to be blown up days before the 4th, with consequences that not even Soros can control. Mitt Romney has joined forces with Biden to defeat Trump. The US Joint Chiefs have basically said they might remove Trump for tweets. Democratic Billionaires are now feeling the heat and have to pay up. Scary dark money is involved, their urban investments at stake. Someone outside Javanka-Trump is sure to enter, sooner or later. Trump is toast for sure, but when even Instapundit runs video showing bLACK typical criminality, its a turning point. Being the bLACK party is great for upper class anti-fa waging class warfare on those they view as untermenschen worthy of extermination: ordinary Whites, but tends to repel everyone else.

    Somewhat hilariously related:

    https://pagesix.com/2020/07/01/hamptons-billionaires-car-caravan-protest-targets-east-end-vacation-homes/

    Money quote:

"A caravan of protesters — some wielding plastic pitchforks — descended on the Hamptons Wednesday to blast the rich and decry the nation’s rising income inequality.

More than 100 drivers and about 200 marchers paid a visit to the homes of some of the world’s wealthiest people, including ex-New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg.

“Tax the rich, not the poor!” the protesters chanted outside Bloomberg’s $20 million Southhampton mansion, with some calling the failed presidential candidate a “looter.”

    ...

We’re going to make sure our voices are heard.” "

After all, they have absolute moral authority and what is better, to take a billionaire's mansion or some crummy ranch house in the suburbs. This has been the most hilarious and entertaining result to date.

Meanwhile the NYT compares the US to Nazi Germany and India's Caste System, unfavorably I might add, days before the 4th of July. He's arrested too.

Note I predicted De Blasio would do this -- turn NYC into Detroit. Once again, I'm sadly proven right. I wish I was wrong more often. But I'm not.

They won't be happy with anti-fa making the market value drop by say, half, as NYC turns into Escape from New York. Oliver Burroughs in "Moneyland" makes the argument that it was not Putin but some oligarch associate of his who sent the amateur hour Polonium Tea dudes to poison that Russian exile, and did it because the dude was assisting a law firm in their Magnitsky suits against him and would expose his extensive stash in the West.

Besides the main building, there were outlying farm and garden camps with well constructed, but not winterized, living quarters. This was all set in a bucolic park-like setting that recalled noble estates of premodern Europe. Generally the quality of land and buildings was above what you might find at, say, a state park.

As Steve himself has noted in his old anecdotes about encountering German proto-hippy hikers in California’s mountains decades ago, that belief is powerful.

A century ago, when our population was a quarter of what it is today, we had hundreds of massive mental hospitals filled to capacity throughout the U.S. locking up the mentally ill. Now we allow all the  lunatics to roam free. Free to set fire to buildings, tear down statues, scream at the police, set up autonomous zones, and lecture the sane population on food insecurity, white fragility, trans/non-binary phobia, et al.

If we want to keep civilization, we have to harshly punish arsonists and intentional vehicular homicide folks. There is no room here to be lenient, or every rioter out there will figure he gets one mulligan on those kinds of crimes, and we can't have that.
