It’s not been a good March for the Obama Coalition of the Resentful Fringes and the KKKrazy Glue that holds it together: blood libels of white men.

Haven Monahan has permanently eluded the grasp of the Charlottesville cops. And the promising story of the black, gay mayoral candidate in Mississippi, Marco McMillian, whose “mysterious” burning and dragging death was a big national story in March 2013 came to a depressing close with the conviction of the black killer. Admittedly, the guilty party had already confessed to the murder in February 2013, but it was so much fun to titillate readers with hopes that the Klan or other white racist rednecks had done it that who had time to worry about things like timelines and the logic of cause and effect?

Man sentenced to life in murder of Clarksdale mayoral candidate
Associated Press

MARKS, Miss. — A Mississippi man on Thursday was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after a jury found him guilty of murder in the 2013 slaying of an openly gay candidate for mayor of Clarksdale.

Jurors in Quitman County deliberated less than two hours before convicting Lawrence Reed, 24.

Reed testified that he strangled Marco McMillian, but said he did so because he feared McMillian was trying to rape him.

“I’m sorry for what happened, but I can’t take it back,” Reed told Circuit Court Judge Charles Webster on Thursday, according to the Clarksdale Press-Register.

  1. The PC brain is surrounded by a membrane. “def KKK(): return i in range(0, infinity) print” = “racist murdering redneck” penetrates the membrane and becomes lodged in the consciousness on a never ending loop. Black-on-black crime does not penetrate the membrane and remains a non-event.

These people are mentally ill. They are impervious to reality. They remember what they want to.

  4. How many blacks have been killed by the KKK over the past 50 years? Maybe a dozen, if that.

How many blacks have been killed by other blacks over that time? Hundreds of thousands.

How many whites have been killed by blacks over that time? Tens of thousands.

But for the media, it is the specter of lynching that interests them. In the recent article Steve posted about Otis Byrd it said:

There is no more powerful image in the South than that of a black man’s body hanging from a tree. Though the practice of lynching reached its peak during the 19th and early 20th centuries, the idea continues to haunt, explaining in part why the case of Otis Byrd has captured the nation’s attention.

Given the facts above we should ask why do they consider that the most powerful image of the South? The answer is because it is most useful image for them. And what is it useful for? For promoting anti-white bigotry, which is the rock upon which their whole worldview is founded and their deepest moral principle.

Like Steve says it is also the “KKKrazy Glue” that holds together their “coalition of the fringes” (which is another nice term that clearly explains the left’s strategy, more so than the clumsy and opaque term “cultural marxism”.)

  6. Cue NYT to provide nuance:

‘Facts, OK, blah, blah, blah… and yet troubling questions remain about Southern attitudes to violence against Blacks and gay Blacks in particular. The incarceration of another promising young man raises troubling questions, not least for those forever haunted by the image of Pruit Taylor Vince in a bed sheet.

As I stand on the elegant wooden balcony of my hotel – a plantation mansion restored to its dubious former glory – something tastes awry in my Mint Julep. I leave it standing as sour and unfinished as a bottle of Kentucky bourbon at a kindergarten party. A maid takes the glass away and I see her name is Juanita. Suddenly the sweet smell of Honeysuckles and Sycamore Pines returns to fill me with unexpected hope for our tragic hinterland.

Fearing that I would overpowered and raped, I instead overpowered and strangled him. There was no other way to avoid it.

With a life without parole plea bargain, I guess they had a good death penalty case, otherwise there is no incentive to take such a plea.

  9. The number of actual Ku Klux Klan members in the U.S is so miniscule that even The Communist Party USA has a larger membership than the KKK.

Communist Party USA has over 20,000 members. Compare that to the KKK which is estimated to have only about 5,000 members.

"How many blacks have been killed by the KKK over the past 50 years?"

There is no "The" KKK, and there hasn't been since the 1920s. This is a very common mistake, and may seem trivial, but is not. There have been a handful of almost-entirely-negligible groups in the past decades who use the name, but not a single national Klan; just nothing approaching a large clandestine national group that would merit a definite article.

The use of English's definite article ('the') here insidiously implies something at once untrue and serving the general anti-White narrative (that there is a vast White Racist Conspiracy that is so substantial and alarming that it is always, always frontpageworthy). It sneaks past us; almost subliminal.

It looks like you're using 1975 figures for the CP and 1983 figures for the KKK winglets.

  10. And yet the rednecks fall over each other, running off to fight in wars started by the Establishment.

I could understand it from a jobs-social welfare perspective. Increasingly, in a deindustrialized America, law enforcement or military are a single good option for working class whites and that many Southerners are in on the M.I.C. game. What I don’t understand is the patriotism angle. It shows John Q. Southern hasn’t thought this thing through. The idjit still thinks it’s his country. He don’t realize he ain’t fighting for “his country” anymore.

Those neoliberal and neocon cats despise Southerners. Could you imagine how Samantha Power feels about ‘em? And the beneficiaries of our wars- from Koreans to Kurds, once they come here quickly learn who to look down on. Even the general officers tend to be neoliberal, centrist types like Petraeus who are more comfortable in East Coast settings once outdoor play time is over.

Why team up with these people? Is it as simple as the joy of blowing stuff up? Frustrated nationalism? If so, well played NY and DC, well played.

You've got that right. All groups are thoroughly infiltrated. Think back to the shooting of Viola Liuzzo in 1965. The FBI had an informant in the very car from which the shots were fired. It was said informant Gary Rowe actually egged the others on and pointed a gun at her car himself to spur things on. He himself may have been the actual shooter but of course the whole thing was then under governmental control and they gave out the official version.

This is completely wrong Whiskey. Samantha Power doesn't seem to detest the military the way a lot on the left do, and she certainly isn't shy about using it for what she deems necessary. 15. The Military so far has sat out doing anything for the last 40 years. They’ve been bought out. Their upper ranks bought out with lucrative jobs, the lower level officers, ncos and enlisted with pensions and benes. Making the military into a professional, socialist members only club was a smart move. They have to support Uncle Sam. Soldiers with nothing to lose tend to rebel.

Same goes with the cops, basically any government employee who mouths on about GOP talking points, but fails to do anything other than vote for a GOP candidate or give money to the GOP and support their trade union (which isn’t a commie union, no sirree, when cops do it, it’s DIFFERENT) and beat on a few potheads or other low-lifes.

They have done nothing, whiskey, and they will continue to do nothing.

The Liberal leadership knows just how far they can push ‘em, without provoking outright push-back. So actual leftists are never allowed to be in charge. Deblasio was about as far as they will push. However, the long-term agenda is never abandoned. Relentless, small steps.

Well played, NY and DC, well played.
