When I was a kid (1960s), ordinary blacks and Whites alike said "colored," and fancy-pants types of both races said "negro."
Then blacks started ordering Whites every few years to change how they addressed them, while using diminutive terms like "caucasian" for "White," which were contemporary with "negroid," but if a White said "negroid," he was a Klansman.
Meanwhile, over the past 30-odd (or is it 60-odd, or 100-odd?) years or more, blacks obsessively say "n----r" in public, daring Whites to say it, and frequently lie, and claim that Whites called them it.
Sometimes, blacks will call a White "n----r" and assault him, and then tell sympathetic White prosecutors that the White called them the n-word. The prosecutors will take the racist blacks' word for it, even if a witness backed up the White vic.
The organisers feel free to call them riots. It’s their supporters in the media who call them mostly peaceful protests.

There is only one way that the government can effectively deal with out-of-control urban crime: aggressive urban policing. But we live in an era where aggressive urban policing is illegal. “True threats” occur when the speakers have an intent that is subjective, not objective. In other words, it is not whether a reasonable person would believe there is intent to carry-out the threat, but rather, whether the speakers themselves do. That kind of mind-reading seems hard to prove, unless the speaker says “Here is my plan of procedure; I’ve worked-out the details.”
I remember reading about a general in the forties or fifties, he said he’d rather have a platoon of white soldiers over a division of black ones. Given the aiming difficulties blacks have with pistols, maybe Racist General was right? I for one, would not at all mind seeing a black insurgency vs Black Occupied Government (BOG) war in NYC.
I think the red-blue divide has hardened since, say, Rodney King in the nineties. I would not be upset that rioting blacks in NYC make America look bad internationally. The more potential international tourists realize they need to avoid black areas like they’d avoid, um, the black plague, the safer foreign tourists are when they come here.

So, to put it succinctly, Hawk Newsome knows how to party!
Give the man his dues. He’s a black man being black. Black people like crime, its integral to their way of life, as they say, “you ain’t a man till you take a life and make a life.”
Adams had a rep while on the force of always filing complaints about racism, and siding with criminals. He’s black, so he will back the black and black crime.
I predicted this. NYC will become just another Detroit. Bombed out by black violence. There is a Zerohedge story about the futile attempt of the New York state power generators trying to prepare for a brutally cold winter. Its a diverse state so it will be a diverse (i.e. shambolic and ineffective) effort. The power will go out for days/weeks in NYC and crime will be utterly, utterly brutal.
Black people are black. They like and need crime and violence. Without it they wither and die. Its just who they are. There is no reforming that aspect of them any more than there is reforming Scandinavians gloominess, their tendency towards alcohol addiction, terminal introversion, and fondness for fermented shark.
What will be interesting is to see the total collapse of New York City in near real time. Give it a few years, and the place will look just like Detroit. I figure half the population will move out very quickly.
It will certainly be interesting to see riots and looting and widespread arson all throughout New York City on a regular basis. Derbyshire did think the elites would eventually turn racist and perhaps the loss of lots of skyscrapers to arson (and the inevitable huge financial losses) will cause corporate and financial leaders to just turn racist. It would not shock me at all to see many NYC skyscrapers burn down into collapse over the next year or so.
When you are Privileged, you can pretty much do whatever you want. I think 2020 made that clear. And, neat little thing here: a basic part of being privileged is calling the unprivileged privileged.
Perhaps they should, but the fact is that anyone on the alt-right would draw a prison sentence for utterances like his. Remember, their violence is speech; our speech is violence.

There was a time when what Newsome is threatening was called by its proper term- “race riots”
-looting, vandalism, assaults and/or murders that are driven by racial animus on one or more sides.
Newsome- “There will be fire and there will be bloodshed because we believe in defending our people.” -sounds like a threat of vandalism, assault and potential murder with a us-versus-them racial component thrown in.

I wonder how an individual might go about getting the major narrative promotion agencies to consistently publicize him as an important "BLM leader," starting in 2016 -- especially when Newsome's organization has been openly and emphatically disavowed by the larger BLM network ?
Let's take a look back at what was going on in the summer of 2016: The "news" media had been heavily promoting BLM for a couple of years prior to that, but there was an ongoing dispute about the usefulness of the BLM narrative between two major semitic supremacist organizations -- the ADL (more rootless cosmopolitan) and the ZOA (more ethnonationalist). But in August of 2016, when BLM leaders dared to express some mild concern for the indigenous Palestinian victims of semitic supremacist oppression... the ADL reconsidered, and in a strange coincidence, BLM largely vanished from the "news."
And what happened a less than a month later, on Sept. 8? Some previously-obscure figure who claimed to be a "BLM leader" wrote to the Riverdale Press to emphasize both his complete iindifference to the Palestinians' plight, and his abject submission to the structures 0f systemic tribalism:

By now the Democrats must be realizing that a very high percentage of the American population is about done with them. Another few months of rioting will push the rest of us over the edge.
What the rioters don’t realize is how utterly useless they are. They know nothing, own nothing, produce nothing. Their best friend is the very society they are rioting against. The law and order society that sends some of them to jail also pays for their welfare checks.
The alternative to the society they’re rioting against isn’t free shit for everyone. It’s no more food stamps, no more welfare, and communities policed by people like Kyle Rittenhouse, which is looking more appealing to the rest of us by the minute.
