Is that the best that the Biden Campaign can come up with it? So far, their only substantive denial is there’s no meeting with a Ukrainian oligarch on Joe’s official calendar for the days in question.

Hasn’t anybody with Team Biden been gameplanning what to say about Hunter and Ukraine since at least the impeachment of Trump, which, as you may recall, had something or other to do with Ukraine?

Or is this the carefully crafted Master Plan in action: Act shifty, but rely on the Big Media and Big Tech to cover it up on the grounds that the end justifies the means.

Or maybe Joe is holding back his super comeback for the last debate on Thursday?

Odds of winning in 2016 at this time(two weeks before election): 14.9% Trump, 85% Clinton

Odds of winning in 2020 at this time(two weeks before election): 12% Trump, 87% Biden

Election day odds in 2016: 28.6% Trump, 71.3% Clinton

So, it is doable. Trump just needs a bit more mojo and some pixie dust (Stimulus checks).

  2. Surprised the Wikipedia page for “non-denial denial” has yet to be locked…

  3. deny, deny, deny gets old. And, Biden knows it. I believe it is time for Biden to admit what his handlers have decided for him. Either way, in history he will be a disgrace…but, if he has even a small bit of integrity, he may finally “speak truth to power.” I hate that low-IQ expression, but, Joe may want to reassess if he wants to go down as a patsy for the DNC.

my new assessment is: Joe is demented and he does not care what happens to him. This is incredible because he has already thrown Hunter under a bus by denying his lyin'

Joe is just another sociopath (2% of society) that will just be a marionette doll for the next 2 weeks. Hunter will go to jail, but Joe no longer cares about the particulars of that. Scary stuff.

Our country is completely fucked if decent people do not put a stop to the craven Democrat party and these morons, imbeciles, demented people, psychopaths, and pedos that are still running for office!

At least in Finland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Czech Republic, Poland....we are boring and predictable.

  5. Biden sounds just like Trump there. You were right when you said that Biden is the second-Trumpiest politician in America.

Sure, Trump would go on the offensive, but he'd also answer the question. He always manages to flip the script without sounding guilty or evasive, even with the nonstop bullshit questions about his taxes or "white supremacists". Biden... not so much.

Or, as Big Joe would say: "come on, man!"

  8. Actually, given the circumstances, Biden’s strategy of saying almost nothing may be the best.

The old and the new media have built a protective dome around Biden. The debate moderator on Thursday is another anti-Trump, pro-Democrat partisan. I doubt she will grill Biden.

The main risk is getting COVID. Thus, he wore 2 masks to church today.

With the election just 14 days away, he appears far in the lead. In sports, they usually employ some strategy to “run out the clock”.

This is just a distraction; in fact, it's good for Joe because it deflects attention from the corruption angle.

Say it's true and Hunter goes on trial, goes to jail and registers as a sex offender. So what?

    Joe still gets elected.

  11. Joe Biden cannot lose. Literally, he cannot lose. Not possible.

For those paying attention, the Supremes led by John “Cuck” Roberts held that PA and other states can have mail in voting … FIVE DAYS AFTER the election. Dems just need to know how many votes to manufacture. Trump *MIGHT* have a lead maybe in Election Day. But after all the fraudulent mail in ballots are counted, as the Supremes have held they MUST up to FIVE DAYS AFTER?

Biden “landslide.” Its a Color Revolution. And just like those revolutions, the military will almost certainly remove Trump from the White House on Day 5 as riots and looting rage across the entire country and anti-fa and blm go wild.

That’s why Lubin Toobin and the rest were wargaming. To get their stories straight. Biden is “elected,” he resigns shortly after for “health reasons” and Harris who the elite wanted anyway is President. As President, she will almost certainly pursue Trump voters and supporters per Robert Reich.

Reich is an insider. You don’t get more inside than Obama’s Labor Secretary. His main job is lobbying. He’s not saying “oh prospective billionaire clients, hire me to get some of the wonderful magic that will surely flow from the Harris Administration.” He’s not even playing fear: “Hire me to keep the vengeful Harris machine billionaires like Peter Thiel away from your wealth.”

Nope. He’s straight up calling for Thiel and others to be tried and punished and their wealth stripped.

My guess is Buffett and Gates, two of the most evil men in the West, beating even Soros, have decided to liquidate their rivals and the White middle and working class.

The whole point of Emperor's Clothes is the issue of what really happened not only gets sidestepped, but if you just care about establishing what really happened and persist in asking about it, you now look crazy. Normal people care a lot about looking sane. Arizona Sherriff Joe Arpaio sent the document to two different laboratories, one in Italy, one in the US run by an Obama supporter, and they both found really sloppy cut and pasting. There's a very dry, very long minute video of it on YouTube (or it was years ago) under the more tag. The people talking are police detectives and they explain everything very clearly with slides. Obama released a badly faked document, knowing the mass media would cooperate, and uninformed normies would just look at it from the point of view of talking in public about UFOs.

Good to know that while the FBI had Hunter’s laptop since last December that they found time to have an FBI agent-provocateur engineer and then bust the Whitmer kidnapping scheme, charge six GRU agents with interfering in some sporting event, thoroughly investigate the Althea Bernstein and Bubba Wallace race hoaxes, etc.

Thankfully our crack FBI did not allow themselves to be distracted by such minor matters as the Bidens’ open and notorious interference in the the Ukrainian government’s attempted investigation of the Bidens while Trump was undergoing the bogus Ukrainian impeachment.

The imperial capital resembles the Mafia during the height of its power, with various crime families each holding their own criminal portfolios. The FBI is run by one crime family (call them the Lucchese Family). 23. Joe Biden has the same superpower that Trump had in 2016. Nobody cares about personal scandal or attacks on character among those who intended to vote for him otherwise.

Trump had a total monopoly on certain political issues and Biden has a total monopoly on not being Donald Trump.

Personal scandal only really matters when the difference between candidates are marginal or of little consequence.

In a hypothetical election between Joe Biden and Mitt Romney this kind of stuff would bury him. And either way, among those who would intend to vote for him, he is likely to be perceived as far less corrupt than Trump even after these revelations. Whether that is true or not, I don’t know.

"Personal scandal only really matters when the difference between candidates are marginal or of little consequence."

Remember how RussiaGate was framed as nothing less than treason? And when the surrogates were (sometimes) asked, they said, yes, death penalty.

UkraineGate and ChinaGate seem more like treason than "personal scandal" and unlike RussiaGate, there's evidence.

"he is likely to be perceived as far less corrupt than Trump even after these revelations. Whether that is true or not, I don’t know."

Well, if you spend 4+ years screaming "Trump is a crook" then people might look askance at his producing evidence that Biden is a crook. But if "shady casino operator" does't beat "willing to sell the whole country to the highest bidder," then we are doomed and deserve to be so.

Apparently, the Feds (yes! that same federal agency that protected HRC when she was caught with an illegal email server) have been watching this group since June, had them infiltrated with both paid informants and agents.

Then just three weeks before a national election, they decided the time was right to scoop these poor schmoes up and splash it across the news networks.

News programs that barely said a word about antifa or BLM riots, and certainly never showed anyone being arrested for rioting, looting and arson, have all of a sudden devoted ten minutes every half hour to white supremacist right wing gun nut domestic terrorists. October surprise! What a coincidence.

Besides, voters need to focus on the important issues such as Trump’s racism and Joe’s first observation of gay love.

Essential point to understand the current US situation. When all the lawyers, judges and jurors are on your side, you essentially don't have to worry about "the law". If they aren't on your side, you are ipso facto (as a lawyer would say) guilty. Sort of like who/whom.

Unanswered and unanswerable. For the reasons discussed above, I commit for purposes of nonargument to saying he totally was born in Hawaii, and therefore he did all this stuff to control criticism. Such commitment is all anyone is capable of. Consider what we could have avoided if those birther idiots could have proven their case, within a serious time frame, and were also actually listened to. The birther effort completely failed in its real purpose (which was to disqualify the target from office, so there's both a time limit and a need to be heard, regardless of evidence), but they didn't fail because they were stupid, crazy, or wrong, they failed because when the game is rigged you waste time respecting the rules. But even with a government of Chinese-owned pedophile traitors, there is hope. Tolerating lies makes the tolerated weak, and eventually they become sloppy enough that the tolerance (and the Streisanding censorship) backfires. I'm speaking to you now from a black church, next to two Jewish rabbis, but Bishop Smacks can't see all that well, so later there may be some trouble verifying this.

J.Ross is right, there's clear evidence that the PDF of the birth certificate released by the Obama White House was manipulated. From a "chain of custody" point of view, one couldn't draw a line from what the PDF image looked like, to what was (or wasn't) in a file cabinet in the State of Hawaii archives.

I think it's obvious that Obama was born in... Hawaii. The alternatives are all implausible. Stanley Durham didn't rate a secret U-2 flight halfway around the world.

    My two best guesses.

    1. The original Long Form was misplaced, lost in a fire or flood, etc. Working from a genuine certificate from that era, somebody assembled a fake. With the correct information, more or less.

    2. Somebody in the White House decided to turn the passion of the anti-Obama fringe into an asset, by messing with the Long Form image file prior to uploading it. The opposition would diminish their credibility by howling "fake!" (which happened). If it got to be an issue, the White House would then release a cleaner version of the scan (things never got that far).

I have some expertise regarding birth registration in the USA, i.e. a background in actuarial work and a Ph.D. dissertation that involved working with birth registration data. So I'm going to weigh in here. Everything I know suggests that something fishy was going on with Barak Obama's (BO's) birth and/or its registration.

Few people remember this now but a close political ally of BO's was running for governor at the time this birth certificate controversy was front page news. He promised that if he became governor, he would use his gubernatorial authority to seek out BO's birth records and publish them so as to end rumors about BO's birth place. A few months after this ally's inauguration some reporters called him on this promise and asked when they were going to see the results.

The governor waffled, saying that his staff were having trouble finding BO's birth records but would get back to the press when the problem was resolved. Apparently it never was. Some time significantly later, BO's people came out with a photo-shopped, long form birth certificate which they posted on line. In a pattern that was then and is now all too familiar, the MSM gave BO cover and refused to investigate what would probably have turned into an informative and interesting scandal.

One cannot misplace birth records except under extraordinary circumstances. They are often critical legal documents, e.g. in probate cases. Critical data are stored as lines in unalterable ledgers, ordered by date and time of birth, in the case of multiple births, down to birth order. Each ledger record is linked to a unique birth certificate identifier. Anyone seeking a copy of their birth certificate need only go to the registration office located where they were born. Within half an hour or so of providing basic id, some official identification, and a small fee they can obtain a copy of their birth certificate. Original birth certificates are critical legal documents. They are not lost or misplaced.

Before statehood there were some occasional complications with Hawaii's birth registration system. But by statehood Hawaii's birth registration system was in compliance with national standards. Obama was born some years after this.

I've heard varying theories as to why BO's birth records are kept hidden. One common one is that the father of record is actually not Barack Hussein Obama Sr but another man. All I know for sure is that something fishy is going on.

Whether that is true or not, I don't know.

    Some encouraging news for Trump:

    On October 20, 2016:

Hillary Clinton was up 6.8 in the RealClearPolitics average in Pennsylvania. Today, Biden is up 3.8. (that race only tightened to 2.1 in the last week of 2016.)

Clinton was up twelve points in Michigan on that day. Biden is up 7.5 right now.

Clinton was up 6.5 in Wisconsin. Biden is up 6.2.

Clinton was up four points in Florida. Biden is up one point.

Clinton was up 2.8 in North Carolina. Biden is up two points.

Arizona has flipped the other way: Clinton was up 1.5 in Arizona. Today, Biden is up 3.1. Though as you can see, the polling turned dramatically pro-Trump in the week leading up to the election. Trump was also up 5.3 in Georgia in 2016. Today, Biden is up 1.2.

Consider what might be called a Transcendental Deduction:

The Powers that Be didn't become TPTB by making simple mistakes. With all the possible Americans to run as an empty suit, why would they pick some gomer whose birthplace makes him obvious disqualified? Why not run AOC with a fake birth certificate to get around the age requirement?

The scam not only made birthers look dumb, but it increased the charisma of Obama: he's the Golden One, the Chosen One, they had to fake his birth certificate because only HE could do the job!

That said, I have noticed a distressing trend of dodgy citizenship, especially among Republicans. I don't recall the issue ever coming up in the past. Now we have McCain (Canal Zone), Romney (Mexico), Cruz (Quebec is it?), Rubio (Cuba?) etc. I think TPTB are trying to get us to accept that birthplace doesn't matter, in the new GloboAmerican Empire.

Whether that is true or not, I don't know.

This ain't no election between Jack Johnson and John Jackson.

UkraineGate and ChinaGate seem more like treason than “personal scandal” and unlike RussiaGate, there’s evidence.

“he is likely to be perceived as far less corrupt than Trump even after these revelations. Whether that is true or not, I don’t know.”

Well, if you spend 4+ years screaming “Trump is a crook” then people might look askance at his producing evidence that Biden is a crook. But if “shady casino operator” does’t beat “willing to sell the whole country to the highest bidder,” then we are doomed and deserve to be so.

    Really.

The scam not only made birthers look dumb, but it increased the charisma of Obama: he’s the Golden One, the Chosen One, they had to fake his birth certificate because only HE could do the job!

That said, I have noticed a distressing trend of dodgy citizenship, especially among Republicans. I don’t recall the issue ever coming up in the past. Now we have McCain (Canal Zone), Romney (Mexico), Cruz (Quebec is it?), Rubio (Cuba?) etc. I think TPTB are trying to get us to accept that birthplace doesn’t matter, in the new GloboAmerican Empire. I am going to summarize it, and folks who want to research further are welcome to do so.

Lets first get the cast of characters straight:
    Beau--son of Joe, dies
Beau's wife--has an affair while still married to Beau, they have a daughter together
Hunter, son of Joe, brother of Beau--he had the affair with Beau's wife while Beau was still alive. After Beau dies they get married.

    Everybody with me so far.

    https://www.revolver.news/2020/10/hunter-laptop-rudy-giuliani-underage-biden-family-member/

Hunter is doing weird stuff with his step-daughter, gets kicked out of the house because of it, and emails Joe Biden to update him about it.

At that point Joe Biden has personal knowledge that Hunter Biden has committed a crime.

    That is just _one_ email.

    This.

It's the only sensible thing to do - I've always assumed that the contents of any RTB-warranty storage device will be mirrored somewhere.

The "throwaway" model was a gigantic pain in the arse back storage was costly: back in the late '80s when a 140MB HDD cost $1200, I had 2 that failed inside a year because Windows 3.0 misconfigured "large" partitions. (For one of them I got a refund without sending the device in; for the second I had to eat the loss).

These days components are stupidly cheap: the last 1TB m.2 NVME that I bought, cost $150 including shipping.

People have no idea how much unwiped data is practically given away by governments.

We used to buy photocopiers at government surplus sales, solely to harvest the scans that hadn't been wiped from the HDDs: most high-end photocopiers scan the document and store an image: manufacturer assertions that data is not stored on the HDD are - or at least were - out-and-out lies confected after this problem was discovered.

Even after it was widely known, copiers were disposed of without having the HDD wiped - even from 'Secret Squirrel'-type departments. Because when you're from the government, everything is someone else's problem.

It's a problem of no self-control, and an obvious sign of senility.

Just too many Americans are sick and tired of Trump and want him out.

Even if Hunter was influence peddling, there’s no evidence that his dad was involved in it

How would that work? What would he be peddling if his dad wasn’t involved?

Hey Boris wanna come hang out and smoke crack? But first you gotta give me a few million through a fake board position.

It’s entirely possible that Biden will be indicted over this. There are millions of dollars in play and Biden is still trying to take the position that he wasn’t involved. This shows a poorly thought out corruption plan where they probably assumed Biden would be done with politics by now and no one would ask about what happened. They were lazy and didn’t even bother with the traditional fake construction project type corruption.

Let's offer the proper context rather than going all hyperbolic.

The final argument that Republicans are advancing is the boldest and perhaps most dangerous one. The argument is that when state supreme courts apply their state constitutions’ provisions protecting a right to vote to loosen voting rules in a pandemic, these state courts are usurping the power given by the Constitution to state legislatures to set the manner for conducting presidential elections. The argument echoes an argument that three conservative justices on the Supreme Court accepted in the 2000 Bush v. Gore case ending that presidential election. It’s a dangerous idea that a state court applying a state constitution is taking away legislative power, particularly in states like Pennsylvania where the state legislature has itself approved the constitutional provisions being applied.

But this argument is likely to resonate with at least some of the conservative justices on the court. As professor Ned Foley explains, this argument for vast legislative power to set the rules for presidential elections could have dire consequences and that “partisan state legislatures wielding this power could create difficulties that call into question the fairness of the election.”

Of all the arguments advanced by Republicans in these lawsuits, this argument about legislative power can do the most mischief. Most dangerous is the idea, furthered in a recent Bart Gellman Atlantic piece, that state legislatures could try to disenfranchise voters and take back their power to appoint presidential electors directly even after the votes are counted.

On the other hand, the Dems have their own October surprise playing out in Michigan.

There is some more stuff getting released tonight.

Theme song for tonight--Ozzy Ozborne's "Crazy Train".

    Replies: @MBlanc46

Thanks for the info. It would completely daft for Biden to address any of that. Not a single word.

  89. The public needs to remember that Hunter Biden is 50 years old. He is well into middle age and not some twenty-something wastrel, getting into trouble because of youthful high spirits, who can be expected to acquire better judgement as he grows up.

deny, deny, deny gets old. And, Biden knows it. I believe it is time for Biden to admit exactly what his handlers had/have decided for him. Either way, in history, he will be a disgrace...but, if he has even a small bit of integrity, he may finally "speak truth to power." I hate that low-IQ expression, but, Joe may want to reassess if he wants to go down as a patsy for the DNC.

    Replies: @Lagertha

my new assessment is: Joe is demented and he does not care what happens to him. This is incredible because he has already thrown Hunter under a bus by denying his lyin’

At least in Finland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Czech Republic, Poland….we are boring and predictable.

I dunno ... years of OPSEC and COMSEC training got me into the habit of cross-cut shredding everything and wiping and drilling my old hard drives, and I don’t do anything shady or have much to hide. I certainly never let anything with personal data go into repair, choosing to back-up frequently, and now that you mention it, I’ve treated any failure that required repairs I couldn’t do as a reason to update my equipment with new, so that’s kind of like a burner laptop.

You’d think that because the guy was smart enough to “earn” more than $50k a month as a company director would see it as a cost of doing business and write it off, but I guess the blockhead off of whom Hunter is a chip, didn’t realise that covering one’s tracks included teaching the idiot-son at least a little tradecraft to protect the family business.

Joe Biden is the personification of Dr. Evil, but without the son with common sense.

    This.

It’s the only sensible thing to do – I’ve always assumed that the contents of any RTB-warranty storage device will be mirrored somewhere.

The “throwaway” model was a gigantic pain in the arse back storage was costly: back in the late ’80s when a 140MB HDD cost $1200, I had 2 that failed inside a year because Windows 3.0 misconfigured “large” partitions. (For one of them I got a refund without sending the device in; for the second I had to eat the loss).

These days components are stupidly cheap: the last 1TB m.2 NVME that I bought, cost $150 including shipping.

People have no idea how much unwiped data is practically given away by governments.

We used to buy photocopiers at government surplus sales, solely to harvest the scans that hadn’t been wiped from the HDDs: most high-end photocopiers scan the document and store an image: manufacturer assertions that data is not stored on the HDD are – or at least were – out-and-out lies confected after this problem was discovered.

Even after it was widely known, copiers were disposed of without having the HDD wiped – even from ‘Secret Squirrel’-type departments. Because when you’re from the government, everything is someone else’s problem.
