While the previous survey found more than two-thirds of young people wanting to stay put, now 52% planned to move abroad in the next three years, with the number increasing to three-quarters in Nigeria and Sudan.

Old style leftism had a pretty straightforward thrust--"workers deserve a bigger slice". You could argue about the wisdom of this or that program, but if someone was pitching higher wages or national health care it wasn't in your face self-contradictory.
But minoritarianism in contrast is just chock full of internal contradictions and further contradictions with other claims of establishment ideology (ex. environmental concerns, global warming, etc.)
Over and over we see these glaring contradictions between "this place is hell, rife with racist, Nazi, white oppression" and "minorities must be let in!". Or the related "minorities are better superior people" but "must have integration!" What, they just can't seem to create nice stuff on their own without whitey around?
This contradictory nonsense is exactly what conservative politicians need to be pointing out and mocking to start debunking the whole enterprise.
Well, according to the Economist magazine, and the mainstream of contemporary western economic and political thought, letting them come, one and all, to the west is the best thing that can ever possibly happen.
It’s the magic boost which will instantly transform economic prospects for the better!

I like planet Earth. Space travel seems whizzy, whiz cool--to young, sciency autistics. But once you grow up you realize the "coalition of forces" of nature and evolution have made Earth pretty darn awesome and we are evolutionarily adapted to it.

Way back when, someone here posted a link to a Nigerian site online whose forums were dedicated to expats and those who desired to be expats. Most of Nigeria, IOW.
The remarks and observations were remarkably straightforward. There was very little of the racial pretense which characterizes discourse in the USA or Western Europe.
Quite the contrary, participants readily acknowledged the wreckage of their own country and looked forward to living in places which hadn’t yet been totally wrecked by Africans.
They were also nothing less than gleeful at the prospect of nubile and willing (eager!) white wimmenz everywhere. But that’s a discussion for another time.

I don’t blame them, I’d do the same in their circumstances. That said, I think it’s naïve that Europe will accomodate them and their wish.
One of the biggest underreported stories in the latter half of the 2010s has been the steady hardening of immigration policies by mainstream parties in Europe, which contributed to stagnating support for the far-right. The Swedish social democrats have pushed annual “refugee” intake to below levels not seen in several decades (once adjusting for population) and they are now talking about hardening rules on work-related migration too, in addition to increasing the barriers to obtain even permanent residency.
A few weeks ago, several dozen Africans were killed in Morocco, trying to storm the border with Spain. The media barely bothered to report it. As these attempts become more and more common, attitudes will harden further.
The mainstream media here in Sweden pretended that the 2015 “refugee” tsunami presented a golden demographic opportunity. I remember it well. These days, even left-wing papers admit that nothing of the sort happened and these blatant lies are simply not present anymore; they know people aren’t believing them.
Europe has the capacity to defend its borders. The only missing ingredient was political will. We’re not quite there yet and it will be a bumpy journey (especially with a lot of screeching from US media), but we’re slowly getting there.
It was of course similar in Germany. The most obnoxious of those people who claimed that immigration would be a big chance where right-wingers.
Those people tried to present themselves as rational thinking planners and tough business-men and at the same time wanted to be part of the huge group of people who tried to overbid each of other with acts of kindness towards immigrants and the strength of condemning of dissidents. So they wrote to editorials in newspapers which said that maybe taking in immigrants was necessary because of human right but mostly it was a decision which was economical inevitable. So they described various fantasies about the economic benefits these immigrants would bring. As far as I know most these fantasies never became true and - even worse - nobody is interested in whether they came true or not.
This just seems pretty much completely wrong. Sure there's serious Euro-establishment sillines, plenty of European head-in-the-sandness and, of course, boatloads of insanity on the Euro-left. But basically every European nation has some sort of immigration skeptic party. There are still a good number of Europeans with a strong national identities and feeling. And, many national political systems seem a bit more responsive to popular discontent. With even some left parties willing to tighten when immigration is seen as a threat to jobs/wages and keeping the social-welfare system afloat. And most of all ... Europeans simply aren't as far gone demographically.
In contrast, the stranglehold the minoritarians have in American media--and government, academia, finance, business--is pretty complete. And demographically ... the white majority is already over. White have been only half the newborns for decades as the millennials age out of their baby making, will be headed down further ... just as the white Boomers like myself die off. The demographic cake is already at roughly cinnamon and if we don't stop the immigration insanity before the African deluge, it will head toward chocolate.
We've been doing it for several generations now and what good has it done? No more throwing good money after bad.
Start making some “refugees NOT welcome” signs.

It is one thing to say you want to go. I read the whole article. It says nothing about the “52% [who] planned to move abroad in the next three years” intended to do it and where they intended to go. There were “4,500 young people interviewed, aged 18-24” which means they were very young and in Africa, most would not have what we would call jobs. What are they expecting to use for money? What makes them think anyone in the First World wants them? They must know we do not and Europe does not, either.
If so many people now just want to escape, how will things be when there are additional billions of people there? Population increase of course is not even mentioned as a problem. It never is.
The other 48% didn’t understand what emigration meant.

The bigger issue for America is that 52% of White millennials do not want to have children. The future belongs to those who show up for it. It is the rapidly declining white population which poses a greater problem to our future than the rising population of Africans The number of fertile white females in America has been declining steadily for decades. Back in 1990 we had 120 million whites under the age of 40, today just 87 million. If half the white females decide not to have children , the remaining fertile females will need to have a fertility rate approaching 4.5 to maintain the white population.

Folks here know, i'm a windbag on the eugenic fertility issue. It's huge. And long term it is critical--you obviously must have replacement fertility and it must be eugenic--else you die. But it is long term. You can cycle population down ... and cycle back up--as long as you don't lose your nation while that's happening.
Obvious case: Japan. Japanese gals have even worse fertility than American white women--even college educated American white women. (Much worse actually.) The Japanese population is now falling and will fall pretty dramatically. But even if it plunges down to 70 million--more or less where it was during the War--Japan has plenty of people. And as Japan's population ticks down, Japan's "affordable family formation" will tick up. For that ‘52% of Africa’s youth wants to emigrate’ “bombshell” (as the survey’s sponsor put it in the Guardian piece) appears only on page 93, out of 100! The ‘good’ news is that of those seeking to flee Africa’s Edenic splendour ‘only’ 27% aim to leave permanently. Looking at the UN Population predictions (2019 accessible data, not the brand new one, so the new numbers will be a tad lower) applying those percentages means about 480 million out of 920 million 15-29 year olds will want out of Africa by 2100, of which 130 million or so will want out for ‘good’. That’s more than the entire 2100 populations of Germany (75 mill) and Italy (40 mill). Where on current trends they will be welcomed with open arms, legs and wallets.
The unspoken aspect of immigration policy is the pull effect of diasporas. They create life scripts for emigration and make emigration seem easier and so entice more and more of the population who would have been hesitant otherwise. Though nobody would admit it, it’s like a kind of colonisation and those places mentally become part of that peoples living space. See Turks and Germany for a particularly well-developed and unusual relationship.
Despite all the seeming choices on offer, immigration tends to follow historical patterns and places that are often more attractive in theoretical terms economically often get overlooked. Because despite all the ‘immigration schmaltz’ the point of emigration is to go someplace it’s easier to live and things like language barriers or unfamiliarity or lack of local diasporas or lack of broken black economies for quick tax free cash deter.
The point of immigration is never to ‘give back’ to your host country but we have to pretend that’s what is going on. To the extent that this does quasi go on in terms of medical staff, it represents one of the most evil forms of abuse by rich countries towards poor ones but you’ll find no shortage of second generation Indians proud their doctor fathers ‘heroically’ went to the West to make money and leave behind the society that gave them that education for free.

Currently Eastern Europe is the early stage where much of Western Europe was maybe 30 to 40 years ago with Nigerians, mostly students who go home but the longer that relationship goes on, the more ‘hustlers’ will show up or emerge from former students.

A dauntless individual with a plan would probably confound adversity with a back-up plan; these people, encountering some last minute change, would probably react like a bad student who hopes the teacher isn’t too serious about deadlines. Again and again, we see how immigration policy can filter intake in different ways. Right now our system is to select for the worst possible candidates.

First off these graphs are kind of stupid for this sort of eyeballing, because they are based on tonnage per nation, not per acre land or arable land or population. (Basically, they are useful for "who are the top producers of X?" type questions.) Africa has a bunch of small nations. There isn't a US or Cananda or Australia or even an India of Africa (much less a Russia). So you have to compare say Nigeria to the likes of say France.
And yeah, Africa is not a huge producer of ... cereal grains, specifically the traditional Western cereal grains. They tend to feed themselves more with root crops (ex. yams).

At what point will it become cheaper and politically easier for Spain to just resettle the EU citizens of Melilla and Ceuta in mainland Spain, and hand the two cities over to Morocco? Having a few small dots of land in Africa in which someone can try to claim asylum in the EU is a problem that’s only going to get worse.

IJ, good comment and a very good read would be “King Leopold’s Ghost” by Adam Hochschild and throw in Joseph Conrad’s “Heart of Darkness.” Both books about the Belgium Congo. I think the Chinese will soon have colonies all across Africia and will find a way to thin the population.

The low white fertility of Americans would not be an issue if 100% of our immigrants were Caucasian. But white fertility is a big factor in America because as bad as it is now it will be far worse for whites when the white population falls to 170 million as the Non-White population reaches 180 million (which is projected to occur before 2050). Ending immigration would delay this by a decade. So we should shutdown immigration, but whites are already a minority of our youth population, so ending immigration today will not prevent whites from being ethnically cleansed from our nation. If White fertility continues to decline the white population will soon vanish from America. Only a rebound in white fertility can prevent the extinction of white race from America. Without White babies we will soon have no white people.

I have wondered about this too. The practical problem is that the plan would fail unless you could get every Congolese, in fact every sub-Saharan African, to move to Europe. It would then fail unless you were willing to defend your new African borders.

Bardon, you should look through your own link again with a critical eye.
First off these graphs are kind of stupid for this sort of eyeballing, because they are based on tonnage per nation, not per acre land or arable land or population. (Basically, they are useful for “who are the top producers of X?” type questions.) Africa has a bunch of small nations. There isn’t a US or Cananda or Australia or even an India of Africa (much less a Russia). So you have to compare say Nigeria to the likes of say France.
And yeah, Africa is not a huge producer of … cereal grains, specifically the traditional Western cereal grains. They tend to feed themselves more with root crops (ex. yams).
But the main point is Africa is in rough agricultural trade balance–sending tropical stuff like coffee and cocoa and importing–mainly to places like Nigeria–cereals.
I never stayed we need more people, but we certainly cannot afford to have 40% less white people. yet in the near future the White population will decline by 30% from the current 190 million down to just 140 million over the next few decades as the non-White population reaches 200 million. This scenario will occur even if immigration is reduced by 90% if white fertility stays below 1.6

Victim fired gun in earlier incident
OAKLAND — In the moments before 33-year-old Slai’On Carter was shot and killed with her own pistol during an early morning argument last December, she pleaded with her attacker not to hurt her, according to witness testimony.
“I’m not going to hurt you, I’m going to kill you,” Renee Colvin, 31, allegedly replied, according to two eyewitnesses who both said she uttered the words in a “demonic” voice.
What happened next capped off a hellish night for a group of friends that included multiple fights and shootings, and ended with four hours of police questioning following Carter’s death. Colvin was charged with murder in January, and details about the homicide came out at her preliminary hearing last May.
“I am struggling to find a motive, other than extremely poor judgment based upon alcohol and cocaine,” Judge James Cramer said at the preliminary hearing, before ordering Colvin to stand trial. He later added, “I can’t explain why this tragedy occurred.”
Carter, a transgender woman whose friends knew her as Nikai, was gunned down around 4 a.m. on Dec. 3, inside a Dodge pickup truck on the 1400 block of Castro Street. She was shot once in the face, allegedly by Colvin, after the two had a playful argument that escalated into a fight, according to witness testimony.
Hours earlier, Carter fired her pistol at another location to break up a fight between two friends at 14th Street and Martin Luther King Way, then left the area after the police arrived, according to witness testimony.
She ended up in a truck with her friend Phillip Smith, who testified that she got a call from Colvin and the two had a friendly chat on the phone. Carter mentioned she was moving and Colvin told her she would sell her furniture, Smith testified. The two arranged to meet up right away.
At the meeting Colvin and friends arrived in a Dodge pickup truck, where Carter joined her. The two started using cocaine and began to engage in some back-and-forth banter, but it quickly grew tense. Then Colvin put her hand on Carter’s lips, who told her to stop and tried to ease the tension by offering Colvin more cocaine. When Colvin refused, facetiously remarking the drugs were probably tainted, Carter threw a rolled up \$1 bill in her face, two eyewitnesses testified.
The fight started from there, during which time Colvin allegedly told Carter she was going to kill her. The two eyewitnesses testified at the preliminary hearing that Colvin struck Carter with a bottle of Patron, causing Carter to stumble and go into a daze. One of the witnesses testified Carter then frantically told friends to keep Colvin away from her pistol.
Smith said that when he saw Colvin reach for the gun, he fought with her over it, then put her in a bear hug. He said the gun went off while they struggled, and that he ran from the area. After the shot went off, fatally striking Carter, Colvin appeared “in shock” and uttered a profanity. She tried to run away with the rest of the group, but they told her to get away from them, according to witness testimony.
A few minutes later, Smith doubled back to the Dodge to see if Carter was alright, then called 911. He and others were questioned by police until 8 a.m. On his way home, he happened to run into several members of Carter’s family and had to break the news to them that their loved one was dead.
At the end of Colvin’s preliminary hearing, her attorney, Michal Tal, argued the case at most a manslaughter, not murder, and that Colvin was attacked by “two biological men.”
“I think at most this is either a completely justified killing, in which case it’s not a murder or a homicide at all, but for the purpose of a preliminary hearing it is possibly a manslaughter because there is no malice,” Tal said.
Cramer, though, said the testimony showed Colvin pointed to a deliberate shooting.
“According to (Smith’s) testimony, the defendant grabbed the victim by the hair and held a gun to her face and pulled the trigger,” Cramer said.

Re ND and WV. ND has a really crappy continental climate and not much stellar opportunity outside of oil+gas. Once we were beyond people homesteading their 160, there really isn't much point for anyone to be moving there. WV on the other hand is pretty--and with modern transportation much less isolated than it used to be. But there still isn't much economic opportunity there. But I could see that change with diversity encouraging more people to "discover" the wonderful package of amenities that WV has to offer. (I'm more of "West" kind of guy myself, but for young folks starting out whose aspirations don't require a mega-metro, I think Eastern Tennessee has some appeal. Some natural beauty, affordable housing and no state income tax.)

There are some of my fellow American’s commenting here who seem to think Europe is baked, and America is the last hope.
This just seems pretty much completely wrong. Sure there’s serious Euro-establishment sillines, plenty of European head-in-the-sandness and, of course, boatloads of insanity on the Euro-left. But basically every European nation has some sort of immigration skeptic party. There are still a good number of Europeans with a strong national identities and feeling. And, many national political systems seem a bit more responsive to popular discontent. With even some left parties willing to tighten when immigration is seen as a threat to jobs/wages and keeping the social-welfare system afloat. And most of all … Europeans simply aren’t as far gone demographically.
In contrast, the stranglehold the minoritarians have in American media–and government, academia, finance, business–is pretty complete. And demographically … the white majority is already over. Moving your cursor, you’ll see how much exactly a certain land produces anything. So you can compare, say, India and China re. rice & see that India lags by ca. 20%.
If you inspect more closely sub-Saharan countries, you’ll see they’re actually miserable producers of any sort of food compared with any comparable country elsewhere.

There is no way this is possible. Japan’s fertility rate hovered around 1.5 for the last decade. White American women’s was about the same. This despite major increases in cost of living compared to the states and no home ownership for Japanese young people.

Without these restrictions, the US would already have hundreds of millions of African immigrants instead of the current 2 million African Immigrants living in the US. The number of African immigrants in the US is not in anyway related to the number of Africans who would move here if given the opportunity, since the number of Africans who want to move the US has always been far higher than the current US population…This was true in 1995 when 250 million Africans wanted to immigrate to the US, yet we only admitted 75,000. It was true in 2010 when 350 million wanted to immigrate and we admitted 95,0000…the limiting factor is our immigration laws, not what Africans want. We could reduce African immigration to below 10,000 tomorrow if our politicians decided this was a good idea. It is doubtful that even the Democrats will allow African immigration to exceed 150,000 per year. And soon Democrats will be mostly Hispanic and Asian, so they will probably seek to reduce immigration from Africa once they obtain more political power in the coming decade.
Not Just WV, ND; Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Idaho, Iowa, Wyoming, Montana, Utah are also not on the top of relocation destinations.
