A few days ago, an Ilyushin IL-62M liner carried over a hundred Russian soldiers and officers to Caracas. Symbolically, they made a stopover in Syria, as if saying that Venezuela is the next country after Syria to be saved from ruin and dismemberment. The military mission was led by the Head of General Staff, General Tonkoshkurov (“Thin-Skinned”, a name that would thrill Vladimir Nabokov).

‘Don’t you dare, exclaimed John Bolton, meddle in the Western Hemisphere! Hands off Venezuela! It is our back yard!’ The Russians didn’t buy it. Some time ago they tried to object to the US tanks being positioned in Estonia, a brief drive from St Petersburg, and all they’ve got was preaching that sovereignty means sovereignty, and Estonia does not have to ask for Russian permission to receive American military assistance. Now they repeated this American sermon verbatim to John Bolton and his boss. Get out of Syria first, they added.

This is a new level in the Russian-American relations, or should we say confrontation. For a very long time, the Russians convinced themselves that their liking for the United States was mutual, or at least would be returned one day. However, this stage is over, the scales fell off their eyes and they finally realised America’s implacable enmity. ‘These Russians are really dumb if it dawned on them only now’, you’d murmur. It is enough to read comments to the New York Times piece regarding Mueller’s exoneration of Trump to learn that hatred to Russia is a staple diet of American elites, on a par with love to Israel. That’s where we are.

But Russians had an opposing tradition. Russians had had tender feelings for the great nation beyond the ocean in the days of Tsars, in the Soviet days, and even more so in post-Soviet years. They liked America’s derring-do, its hardy pioneers, farmers, jazz, Hollywood. They compared American “Go West, young man” with their own exploration of Siberia. They compared their fast-growing cities to Chicago. Khrushchev admired the corn and called upon his people to compete with America peacefully. Russian Westernised educated classes (“intelligentsia”) sided with the US during Vietnam war and through the Middle East wars.

This love for America had been so entrenched that there were (practically) no Russian/Soviet movies with American villains. That’s right – there is no equivalent to Rambo’s antagonists, or to Igor of classic horror. Americans in Russian films are good guys – with a very few exceptions of B-movies. ‘We don’t trust Russia; we never will. They’re never going to be our friend… We’re going to kick them every single time.’- these memorable words of Nikki Haley had no Russian counterpart, and this sentiment wasn’t known in Russia.

Now it is likely to change. The latest Russian action movie The Balkan Line presented a Russian commando team operating in Bosnia and Kosovo against NATO allies, Kosovo organ-harvesting Islamists – along the lines of the Turkish thriller The Valley of the Wolves. It came out timely, at the anniversary of the Belgrade bombing, the most traumatic event for post-Soviet Russians. When Clinton ordered the bombing of Russian ally and coreligionist Serbia, despite Russian pleas and intercession, the Russians understood that their regime change had brought calamity on their heads. Russian PM Primakov learned of Clinton decision en route to Washington, and he ordered his plane to make a U-turn over the Atlantic. In a few months, Putin took over the Russian presidency, and Russia began its more assertive, but still America-friendly course.

However, the US insisted on treating Russia as a defeated state, like Iraq after Saddam or Japan in 1945. That was too much. Russians could accept being treated as a vassal, but an important vassal, a vassal to pay heed and listen to. The support of Islamist insurgency in Chechnya or encouragement of Georgian aggression was not the way an upright suzerain may treat his vassal. The link snapped.

Until recently, we had Putin’s version of what went wrong – it was presented in his interviews with Oliver Stone. Now we have the American version, and amazingly, it isn’t different as facts go. The American version of events had been presented by William J Burns, a veteran American diplomat and the Ambassador to Moscow. It had been summarised by Vladimir Golstein of Brown University:

1. Russia was expected to act like US obedient junior partner.

“America thought that Moscow would eventually get accustomed to being our junior partner, and grudgingly accommodate NATO expansion even up to its border with Ukraine. Alas, President Bill Clinton’s push for the eastward expansion of NATO reinforced Russian resentment.” – Surprise, surprise!

2. Russia expected a quid pro quo for its support of the US in the wake of 9/11, but “Putin fundamentally misread American interests and politics. The Bush administration had no desire—and saw no reason—to trade anything for a Russian partnership against alQaeda. It had little inclination to concede much to a declining power.”

3. Americans paid no attention to Russian warnings. The ambassador tells of Putin warning him to hold back the maverick Georgian president from attacking Russian clients, but this warning had been ignored.

4. The US-led regime change in Libya “unnerved Putin; he reportedly watched the grisly video of the demise of the Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi—caught hiding in a drainage pipe and killed by Western-backed rebels—over and over again”. Apparently, at that point Putin understood finally that there is no way to survive unless he asserts Russian position. After the RussiaGate, enmity between the old adversaries rose to unprecedented heights.

ORDER IT NOW

Non, Je ne regrette rien, and in particular I do not regret that Russian-American relations have gone from bad to worse. The world needs balance, and Russians do provide a counterweight to the heavy-handed Uncle Sam. The worst time in recent history was around 1990, when Russia practically ceased to exist as an important factor of international politics. Then, the US stormed over Panama and Iraq, bombed Belgrade, created al Qaeda, and destroyed its own working class. If uppity darkie bus driver Maduro would try to say ‘no’ to Washington in 1990s, he would be kidnapped, arrested, tried for, say, child abuse or drugs trafficking and jailed for thirty years. The then Russian president Yeltsin wouldn’t even notice between his drunken bouts that Venezuela had reverted to direct colonial rule.

Fortunately, Russia and the US are barely on speaking terms, and countries wishing to escape the imperial diktat have a choice. Venezuela is on the line. President Maduro stressed that the Russian military advisers’ visit had been arranged for a long time in advance. Though technically true, during the last month the Russian position changed noticeably. When the US blocked Venezuelan bank accounts, Maduro said they moved their accounts to the Russian GazPromBank. The Russian oilmen were visibly unhappy about his revelation. I spoke to a top manager of an oil company who bewailed the incautious words of Maduro. “Our bank will come under the US sanctions, and we shall be ruined, – he said. – Why couldn’t Maduro keep his mouth shut? We would manage his account, but quietly, without challenging Americans”. Other important Moscow officials said that Venezuela is lost anyway, and it’s better to forget about it.

But the visit of Venezuelan Vice President Señora Delcy Rodriguez to Moscow had changed the mood. This elegant and dynamic lady is an excellent and convincing speaker. She made a star appearance in press conference with Sergey Lavrov. In a few well-chosen words she unmade the web of lies woven around her country. Despite sanctions, Venezuela lives better than its neighbors Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras. There are six million Colombian economic and political refugees in Venezuela; and they do not want to go back to their country. They prefer to suffer in socialist Venezuela. Now, when thousands of Central Americans are trekking to Rio Grande, the US should take care of them instead of worrying about Venezuela. The current exodus occurs in the most obliging client-states of Washington. We also learned that the US stole $31 billion of Venezuelan assets and gave 1 (one) billion to the Random Guy they appointed as Venezuelan President.

For a few days, Russia hesitated. The proponents of a pro-American line are quite powerful in Moscow, and they called for dropping Caracas. They reminded people of a real and imminent danger: the US can block Russian dollar assets and forbid all dollar transactions for Russian companies. This sort of warfare had been tried against North Korea and Iran with devastating effect.

Russians expect this move; for this reason they beef up their gold reserves and sell their US bonds and obligations. They expect it to happen, sooner or later, but they would rather postpone it as long as possible.

However, despite this treat, Putin decided to support Venezuela’s Maduro. Thus a new level in the hybrid war had been broken. Venezuelans had moved the headquarters of their oil company to Moscow, and defiant Russia has accepted them.

The US immediately responded by cyber-attacking Venezuelan power stations and causing an extensive blackout.

It is probably the first large-scale cyber-attack upon the infrastructure of an enemy. The destruction of Iranian centrifuges by means of Stuxnet was still limited in scope and did not interfere with the general economy. The Venezuela electric grid had been recently updated and extensively modernised by the big international company ABB. When the upgrading was done, the company said in its press release that now Venezuela has the best and most advanced electric equipment. Apparently, the most advanced equipment is more vulnerable to cyber threats.

Every Washington-organised regime change in Latin America usually included an attack on the power grid (for instance, removal of Chile’s Allende), but until now the adversary had to dirty his hands physically, by sabotaging power stations and transmission lines. Now they have learned how to do it from outside, from Miami. Venezuelans noticed that the first warning of their blackout had been made by Marco Rubio: “Marco Rubio announced hours before the blackout that “Venezuelans will live the most severe shortage of food and gasoline,” revealing he had knowledge that some kind of shock would happen in the next few hours.” The Moon of Alabama also accepts the cyber-attack explanation, though hedges it by reminding that ‘shit happens’, and the US has also experienced blackouts.

I asked a Russian expert on cyber warfare, and he told me that a cyber-attack on infrastructure is feasible. He connected it with the US struggle against the Chinese communication giant Huawei: it is the only major manufacturer that provides no backdoor for NSA spying operations.

Russians decided to give Venezuela a helping hand. They had sent cyber experts, a military mission; they buy Venezuela’s oil and break American boycott of the Bolivarian republic. They also help Iran to go through sanctions.

Russians have few ambitions. They do not want to rule the world, or even to dominate their neighbors. They do not want to fight the Empire. They would be content to be left in peace. But if pushed, and now they are being pushed, they will respond. In Russian view, even the most hostile American politicians will desist before the Doomsday collision. And if not, let it be.

Bad move for Russia. Venezuela isn’t worth it, is too far away from Russia, and is hopeless with its diversity.

Let US take over and clean up the costly mess.

When I watched a bunch of Soviet era films, I was surprised by this. And even Germans were generally presented more humanely than in Hollywood movies.

We never were that liking US as Mr. Shamir writes. In Soviet times we were enemies. The some warmings were in short period oh 1985-1999, but it was completely over after bombing of Serbia.
Well, we really weren’t that stupid as Hollywood’s guys showing ameriacans as a villains ( despite they really are), but that doesn’t mean we loved them. At face to face level Russians are always polite and nice, but on US as a state a big cross was stamped in 1999.
The events from 2000 till now show that US state is not only arrogant and criminal, but it’s insane.

Now everything even worse, now we (Russian people) are ready to recall our military skills. But our tops, infested by 5th column members, are still hesitating. I think Mr. Shamir is right, – coming of our troops to Venezuela is a sign of some changings on the gov’t also.

  4. I would like to see Russia quietly increase its on-the-ground influence in Venezuela. Secondly, I would like to see China actively support both nations in this struggle. China must realise (as Russia has) that there is NO compromise with the US. Not confronting the Hegemon is a fight postponed, not avoided.

Yurivku, I think it’s time to confront the Anglo/Zionists once and for all. These people have been the root cause of all of the world’s suffering. If Latin America has any chance of surviving the West’s onslaught on their natural resources, they will need to unite as whole. From Mexico to Argentina. One United Latin America is the only option for the whole population south of the US. I see the Russian people in general as having experienced they same type of political manipulation and economic suffication as we have in Latin America under the pretext of fighting communisim. Communism invented by them, and what will be the prefererd NWO system of control.

Russia is sitting on a great opportunity to stop these criminals once and for all! These pieces of shit are broke, they have no gold. It has been stolen by the bankers (the real enemies) who planned and funded all the wars. The people in the US are delusional fools that believe they are on the “good” side of the current events. They allow themselves to believe Trump, Obama, Bush and Clinton were actually elected by them. Every 8 years the country experienced some form of economic collapse just before the end of each term. From the Savings and Loan crisis, to the Dot.Com Bubble, to the Housing Crisis, to the Bank Bailouts. I have come to the conclusion that Americans are STUPID or COWARDS, they have no hope.

These pieces of shit let pedophiles fuck their kids, they let men marry men and abort babies after they are born. What kind of society allows another countries citizens to have more rights than their own? A sick one, that protects its criminal leaders and their friends. Americans know that Israel, Saudi Arabia and their own government did 9/11 and yet they allowed them to murder innocent men women and children in Iraq and Afganistan. Look at old films from Iraq and Syria, they were very nice places, clean, nice buildings and people shopping in the well kept markets.

Russia is sitting in a great place with Venezuela. They can easily become Latin America’s greatest trading partner if Putin plays his cards right. Russia can surpass China, Europe and the US as the worlds largest economic powerhouse. Latin American food products, minerals, clean water and people can make Russia the largest trading partner for Latin American products. Latin America is ready to shed US Imperial dominance in the region. The best and most valuable resource that can be used by Russia in their fight against American aggression is the Latin American male. Born out of strife and conflicts from European Conquistadors and Aztec Warriors these men will fight to the last man. One only has to look at the Mexican boxer’s method of fighting and their numerous title belts to know what they are made of.

Tell the Russian people we send love from Latin America and stand for real freedom, democracy and respect for all people all over the world. We have over 50 million strong living in the US and they will not stand for any US invasion. The US is done…it’s just a matter of time.

  12. cassandra says:

There’s a global power struggle underway between financial oligarchy and nation state oligarchies. In the former, corporate lobbyists are strong enough to dominate governments; in the latter, governments control their bankers and industrialists.

America is in the former class, as witnessed, for example, by the spectacle of American lawmakers giving Netenyahu repeated standing ovations, in a clear demonstration of AIPAC’s power as can be imagined. A more general manifestation is the implementation of supra-state contracts such as NAFTA, GATT, the EU, and the so-far ill-fated TPP, which supersede national will and laws but are passed by lawmakers anyway.

In the other group are nation-states strong enough to dominate their oligarchs.

Putin actually pulled Russia back into this camp, by regaining ascendancy over the oligarchs installed in the 90’s, who wanted to run Russia for the benefit of the West, up to and including encouraging NATO expansion. Later, Putin famously made the oligarchs sign an agreement to keep their workforces during an economic turndown, famously singling out Deripaska for his failure to sign, and demanding his pen back afterwards to boot.

China is an even more extreme form of the nation-state from this point of view. It’s not even clear what monetary policy means to them, apart from their interest in gold, but the government certainly dominates its oligarchy (even engaging in the odd execution when deemed necessary), and it gives a lot of attention to what its people are doing. It’s heavily involved in construction and manufacturing, and is committing the unpardonable sin of developing its activities in a mercantile way, beyond the reach of the banks.

In Venezuela, the west is trying to restore the dominance of international corporations that Chavez broke in the 90’s, so it’s natural clear it’s allies would be.

Elsewhere, Western elites have disapproved of and punished Yugoslavia, Greece, Iran, Libya, Syria, Iraq, the United Kingdom, Hungary. These prefer to make their own financial and political decisions. To discourage such misbehavior, the Davos group applies EU rules, NY banking sanctions, and financial and kinetic warfare to pull these countries into their neoliberal paradise. But the nationals are now not only resisting but uniting, and in a few cases, reasserting their sovereignty. An unfortunate few, Greece, Libya and Iraq, have succumbed.

The financial economies have an inherent problem in that they’re essentially parasitic: they rely on the presence of others to collateralize their Ponzi schemes and accept the debt burden by which they prosper. These practices require increased exploitation, such as austerity and lowering labor costs, and make recipes for destroying the livelihoods of people and sucking dry profitably productive institutions. They aren’t self-sustaining economically, and tend to instability politically. But they have great power.

On the other side, from the perspective of the masses of the nations, lucrative jobs can only be generated and sustained by real productive activity, which also inherently strengthens the nation-states. The trouble here is, whether a country prospers or not, or resists the clutches of the financiers, depends greatly on the competence of whatever ruler or party happens to be setting policy. Like the Roman Emperors and Russian Czars, these can be good or bad.

    Syria is very diverse.

    But they are all ragheads!

Seriously, this largely invented Sunni-Shia divide has been so thoroughly and effectively sold to the public of the West that it is difficult to have a serious conversation about Syria. Now, the Israelis and Americans have introduced the Kurds into the equation – in an effort to break up that country.

The fact of the matter is that the Sunnis come in many flavours as do the Shia. The Alawites are certainly not Shia. The Kurds are also divided into different groups. The ones in Iran and in Sulaymaniyah think differently from the ones in Erbil and Mosul – they are far more civilised.

As for the Christians, they are never mentioned in the press. It is essential for the Zionists not to let the West know that Syria and Egypt were the cradles of Christianity.

ISIS does not exist in Arabic. It is called Daesh. The term “Islamic State” was invented by the PR geniuses of Tel Aviv, London and Washington to confuse the public in the West with the “Islamic Republic” of Iran. Of course, it is 100% a mercenary army created by the West and its allies. Recently, a French artillery officer complained that the Americans would not let him bombard the nearby ISIS troops.

The Druze are also never mentioned in the media. The fact that the Druze were the original inhabitants of the Golan is a taboo subject. They are to be found on both sides.

In the 20th century, before that European cancer came into being, it was not unknown for a horseman to race from Palestine to meet his beloved in Syria on his Arabian steed.

French Jean-François Revel wrote the book ” Without Marx or Jesus “( 1972 ) in which he proposed the american model for Europe , neither the Christian model nor the marxist model . The Empire was in the peak point of its influence in Europe .

But with time , Empires start taking more that they give , lose their moral virtues , and end up being parasitical and antipatico , and more and more countries resist the Empire economicaly , culturally and militarily .

Probably since the times of the troika Reagan , Thatcher and polish Pope John Paul II , the Empire started the decline . The Empire has produced a wave a narco addictions , an especulative economy in detriment of productive economy , a decadence of religion and morals , a war between the sexes pretexting feminism , an intelectual decline , a continuous increase of taxation , endless regulations and endless wars and coups .

At the end all the Empires fall and are folloved either by a period of chaos , or by other Empires

So true. The vast majority of impoverished wetbacks and refugees flooding into the US are coming from countries like Mexico and Guatemala which are vassals of Washington. The only ‘refugees’ we get from Venezuela are rich counterrevolutionaries who own condos on Miami Beach.

  23. I share my regrets that we missed an opportunity to improve relations.

I think the issue with Al Qaeda had less to do with Al Qaeda that interpreting what that meant. The idea of getting involved in operations against Muslims by the link to Al Qaeda accusations might have the US intervening in disputes internal to Russia, say Chechnya independence. I am not sure how we could square that. But on a conceptual level cooperating with other foreign nations on issues of terrorism should be without question. Russia did warn the US about Muslim fighters —

As I recall, even the Russians disapproved of Serbian war tactics, actual instances of “actual” genocide. That even they could not defend in the battle between Bosnia and Serbia or as many would like to say — Serbian civil war/conflict.

I am not sure how this president makes the U-turn from the intel report. Those are serious charges.

  33. Twenty years ago, with the outbreak of the Kosovo War, it became clear to me that the two superpowers of the Cold War were on course for eventual confrontation – conflagration. These processes take time, but nothing has happened since then to change my mind as to what the outcome will be: nuclear war. From its perspective, Russia has been encroached upon since the fall of the Soviet Union, NATO moving dangerously closer to its borders, its backyard. Survival is the one thing a nuclear power will go to war over. That is the fall-back position of Deterrence doctrine. That survival can be of the individual (like the grisly death of Muammar Qaddafi) or the nation. When there is an existential threat in the Nuclear Age there will be Armageddon. The balance of power of the Cold War, despite high tensions, saved us from that fate. But that was a post-world war environment: we are now in a pre-world war environment.

Rubio unfortunately doesn’t sound convincing when he says he loves killing, fear, suffering and anguish. The mafia should have hired a voice like that of the late Ricardo Montalban. A thick latin accent with conviction and feelings threatening to murder poor people and torture them. The feelings people feel when they flee central American countries because the US military has trained those governments to murder poor people and torture them.

However, it is impossible for me to believe that there are now 6 million economic and political refugees living in Venezuela from Colombia.

Hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans have fled poverty and are living in Colombia, Ecuador,Peru and Chile.

With out a doubt the current standard of living in Colombia is far superior to that of Venezuela. The end of the long civil war has brought a degree of prosperity to Colombia. The standard of living is increasing ever year. “Despite sanctions, Venezuela lives better than its neighbours Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras. There are six million Colombian economic and political refugees in Venezuela; and they do not want to go back to their country. They prefer to suffer in socialist Venezuela.”

I live in Colombia and I have witnessed the massive exodus of Venezuelans, coming to live in Colombia or other South American countries, something we have never seen in this country because Colombia is not an immigrant country. Many Colombians that found refuge in Venezuela had to return to Colombia because the shortage has made difficult the life in Venezuela. Despite U.S. involvement I blame this mainly on the Venezuelan government, which during the last 20 years has expropriated companies and industries, destroying the productive system of the country, and has not diversified the economy, relying solely on oil industry. Venezuela has enough land to feed all its people and even feed other countries as well, but the lack of vision of its governments, right-wing or left-wing, has lead to the current crisis the country now is experiencing.

Russia tends to be slow to react, and China slower still. That can sometimes be an advantage so as not to make rash moves, but other times it gives the rival advantage. Russia should have done more to save Gaddafi’s Libya; they really should have insisted on putting a naval base there while there was still time. But it seems they’ve learned their lesson as shown by their actions in Syria and now Venezuela. I suppose if the US really gears up for a war on Iran, Russia and China will send forces there to preempt any major aggression.

So if we discount a nuclear exchange as being MAD, and if the powers settle on having a conventional WWIII, how do you rate China and Russia against US and NATO? I’d say all those US and NATO bases that they’ve placed so close to the borders of Russia and China would be wiped out in no time at all and then what? I’d say the war would be over as I can’t see the US or NATO states wanting to bother to try to send more forces.

  63. It’s not that libs just want war with Russia. They don’t trust Russia, and with good reason. Russia supports and helped elect a tyrant. I don’t buy that Putin thought he could ‘control’ Trump. Leaving more questions than answers as to where and for what purposes they choose to act. More often than not, attempting to take both sides. Whether or not it actually has the “might” in the face of Russian and Chinese opposition is debatable, but you said: “Let US deal with its problems.”

Which implies a right or a duty, IMO. Not to nitpick but to make my point: Who are you or the U.S. “government” to decide if Venezuela or any other country has any “problems” in the first place?

Before imposing sanctions, seizing assets, renting mobs, launching cyber attacks, bribing politicians, dropping bombs, etc. – or anything else it may or may not have the “might” to do – U.S. rulers must FIRST sit in judgment of the subject nation and/or it’s government, and an official proclamation to the world must then then be issued: Saddam Hussein must go; Muammar Gaddafi must go; Bashar al-Assad must go; Viktor Yanukovych must go; Nicolas Maduro must go, etc.

Russia and China also have some serious “might” but they generally don’t take it upon themselves to sit in judgment of other countries’ governments; at least not in the case of countries who are not provoking or threatening them in any way.

When, or where, did America leave a country in a better state than when it took it over?

Very true. And even in the few “success” cases, the context and the details are very revealing. In the case of Germany, despite being in ruins, mutilated and divided at the end of the war, the West German rump state had been part of a technologically advanced state which inherently possessed, given the chance, the capacity to rebuild. The Cold War was ongoing and, if the US imposed conditions that would deindustrialize Germany and other European countries it controlled, the danger that Communism might gain a foothold through elections inside European NATO puppets was real. See for instance:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_Communist_Party
And then think of operation Gladio.
Re West Germany, here is how it was done:

Erhard’s concept of a socially responsive regulated market economy was based on a fusion of the Bismarck legacy of social welfare and US New Deal ideology of demand management through full employment, price control, state subsidies, anti-trust regulations, state control of monetary stability, etc. It was aided by the infusion of foreign capital through the Marshall Plan. It proved to be effective for rapid and strong recovery of the West German economy via guaranteed access to the huge US market during the Cold War, culminating in the postwar economic miracle (Wirtschaftswunder).

Yet Erhard’s program bore a close resemblance to the early economic strategy of the Third Reich. The main difference was that while the Third Reich’s program was one of economic nationalism, the Erhard program was subservient to US geopolitical interests in the context of the Cold War.

    http://www.henryckliu.com/page105.html

Roughly the same context can be applied to Japan, which before the war was rapidly developing anyway, and more recently to South Korea.

Meanwhile in the Kaganat of Nuland (a country where the American ziocons have prevailed by accomplishing a regime change in 2014), the elections have produced two Jewish frontrunners” https://thesaker.is/a-few-initial-thoughts-about-the-first-round-of-the-ukrainian-presidential-election/

Ukraine went from being the richest Soviet Republic to the poorest country in Europe. In fact, there are quite a few African countries which are doing much better than the Ukraine.

The Tablet Magazine, “daily online magazine of Jewish news, ideas, and culture“ is in a full support of the neo-Nazi based regime in Kiev:

Poroshenko will likely be remembered by the history books as the president who was most attentive to the work of honoring Holocaust memory since Ukraine gained its independence from Russia during the collapse of the Soviet Union. The 75th anniversary of the Babi Yar massacre, held in 2016, was an international event conducted by Poroshenko and his administration with immense tact and generosity. Poroshenko has also been personally comfortable with Jewish aides, including both of his chiefs of staff and the country’s current prime minister, [Jewish] Volodymyr Groysman.

Well, The Tablet Magazine, being true to his blatant disrespect to the memory of the victims of WWII, has omitted some very important detail re the “most attentive president” Poroshenko and current prime minister Volodymyr Groysman. Namely, both gentlemen have overseen the arming of neo-Nazi militia, specifically the Azov Battalion guilty of auto-da fe of civilians in Odessa and more. The arming has been coming from the Jewish State itself: https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/rights-groups-demand-israel-stop-arming-neo-nazis-in-the-ukraine-1.6248727

The winner of the first round of Ukrainian election is Mr. Zelenskii, “a Jewish law student turned stand-up comedian.”

He is a glorified puppet and everybody in the Ukraine knows that his puppet-master is Igor Kolomoiskii who is waiting out the final outcome of the Presidential election safely hidden in, you guessed it, Israel.

Igor Kolomoiskii, the Ukrainian-Israeli citizen has been the main financier of the neo-Nazi battalion Azov.

The sanctimonious and openly indecent Tablet Magazine:

The transformation wrought in Ukraine by the Maidan revolution has been an exhilarating roller coaster that has not bypassed Ukrainian Jewry, which is now in the midst of an exciting period of cultural revival paralleling that of the wider Ukrainian society, which is still just beginning to rediscover its own past and imagine an independent future. Whether this post-Soviet country will choose to elect an openly Jewish president, or a part-Jewish president, or continue with its current philo-Semitic president, the future of Ukraine’s Jews would appear to be brighter than anyone might reasonably have imagined.

What is absolutely obvious is the process of active nazification of Ukraine under the US-installed Poroshenko and the US-installed current Jewish prime minister Volodymyr Groysman.

The main American Jewish organization have been the firm supporters of Ukrainian neo-Nazi, notwithstanding the Babi Yar massacre and such: https://therealnews.com/stories/max-blumenthal-us-is-arming-neo-nazis-in-ukraine

Yes 1999 NATO war on Yugoslavia was the dress rehearsal for what was to come and again Russia didn’t do much to help the Serbs. But I feel that involvement of the US and NATO against the Serbs throughout the 90s slowed down their advance towards Russia’s borders considerably allowing for Russia to get its house in order and modernise and bolster its military. Anyway, it still advanced that push towards Russia as NATO ended up absorbing some of the countries that broke away from Yugoslavia and most of its neighbours who were formerly in the Warsaw Pact.

And notice how openly they advertise their satanism by writing NATO also in reverse as OTAN since only a satanic, Aliester Crowley and Anton LaVey type organization writes their name forward and backwards. I don’t remember them doing this in the old days but I’ve noticed it more recently. I wonder when precisely did they start doing this. Or maybe I’m wrong, maybe they always used OTAN but I somehow don’t remember it.

But Venezuela obviously isn’t a commie regime, like North Korea.

Venezuela is socialist, and that can mean different things.

Personally I like the idea of socializing oil and utilities and other national resources, rather than selling those resources to Western corporations so that those corporations can turn around and sell the oil back to the people at a massive profit, and hand a few shekels to the corrupt leadership.

Another way to look at this is the way Michigan gives the rights to its best water to Nestle, so it can bottle it up and sell it to the denizens of Flint. At a massive profit. The corporations win, the corrupt politicians win, and the impoverished people either cough up the cash for ‘their’ water or drink sludge from the Flint river.

Communism (as its always practiced) fucks over the people to benefit the leaders.

Socialism (as its almost always practiced) fucks over the people to benefit the leaders.

Capitalism (as its always practiced) fucks over the people to benefit the klepto/crony capitalists and the corrupt leaders.

I don’t think so. Most of these movies were clearly meant for Soviet audiences only.

I think part of the reason was humanist-expression dominated much of Soviet film-making. So, even though there could be good people and bad people, they were still people. In contrast, Hollywood genre-heavy movie-making often presented ultra-heroes vs total sub-human monster scum.
Granted, Hollywood film-making was also somewhat restrained until the late 70s when Lucas-Spielberg school of character-cartoonization took off.

    https://dissidentvoice.org/2018/07/regime-change-and-capitalism/

Smedley Darlington Butler was a United States Marine Corps major general, the highest rank authorized at that time, and at the time of his death the most decorated Marine in U.S. history.

During his 34-year career as a Marine, he participated in military actions in the Philippines, China, in Central America and the Caribbean during the Banana Wars, and France in World War I. Butler later became an outspoken critic of U.S. wars and their consequences. He also exposed an alleged plan to overthrow the U.S. government.

By the end of his career, Butler had received 16 medals, five for heroism. He is one of 19 men to receive the Medal of Honor twice, one of three to be awarded both the Marine Corps Brevet Medal (along with Wendell Neville and David Porter) and the Medal of Honor, and the only Marine to be awarded the Brevet Medal and two Medals of Honor, all for separate actions.

In 1933, he became involved in a controversy known as the Business Plot, when he told a congressional committee that a group of wealthy industrialists were planning a military coup to overthrow Franklin D. Roosevelt, with Butler selected to lead a march of veterans to become dictator, similar to Fascist regimes at that time. The individuals involved all denied the existence of a plot and the media ridiculed the allegations, but a final report by a special House of Representatives Committee confirmed some of Butler’s testimony.

In 1935, Butler wrote a book titled War Is a Racket, where he described and criticized the workings of the United States in its foreign actions and wars, such as those he was a part of, including the American corporations and other imperialist motivations behind them.

-Excerpt from a speech delivered in 1933, by Major General Smedley Butler, USMC

I spent thirty- three years and four months in active military service as a member of this country’s most agile military force, the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major-General. And during that period, I spent most of my time being a high class muscle- man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism.

War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses. I believe in adequate defense at the coastline and nothing else. If a nation comes over here to fight, then we’ll fight. The trouble with America is that when the dollar only earns 6 percent over here, then it gets restless and goes overseas to get 100 percent. Then the flag follows the dollar and the soldiers follow the flag. I wouldn’t go to war again as I have done to protect some lousy investment of the bankers. There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket.

There isn’t a trick in the racketeering bag that the military gang is blind to. It has its “finger men” to point out enemies, its “muscle men” to destroy enemies, its “brain men” to plan war preparations, and a “Big Boss” Super-Nationalistic-Capitalism. I suspected I was just part of a racket at the time. Now I am sure of it.

I helped make Mexico, especially Tampico, safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefits of Wall Street. The record of racketeering is long. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1909-1912 (where have I heard that name before?). I brought light to the Dominican Republic for American sugar interests in 1916. In China I helped to see to it that Standard Oil went its way unmolested. During those years, I had, as the boys in the back room would say, a swell racket. Looking back on it, I feel that I could have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.

In fact, knocking out Venezuela’s power grid is at least 9 years old as a considered option to effect regime change in the country, and was proposed by the US-funded CANVAS as a means to bring down Chavez.

“This group reportedly hosted Guaido and the key leaders of his Popular Will party for a series of training sessions, fashioning them into a “Generation 2007” determined to foment resistance to then-President Hugo Chavez and sabotage his plans to implement “21st century socialism” in Venezuela.

In the 2010 memo, CANVAS’s Popovic declared, “A key to Chavez’s current weakness is the decline in the electricity sector.” Popovic explicitly identified the Simon Bolivar Hydroelectric Plant as a friction point, emphasizing that “water levels at the Guri dam are dropping, and Chavez has been unable to reduce consumption sufficiently to compensate for the deteriorating industry.”

    http://ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2019/march/13/us-regime-change-blueprint-proposed-venezuelan-electricity-blackouts-as-watershed-event-for-galvanizing-public-unrest/

A surprising article by The Guardian pointed out that Chavez’s socialist policies brought about a reduction in poverty in Venezuela of 20% in a single year, 2012 – a feat unequaled in the Americas and probably in the world. The same article laid out the strengths of Venezuela which made regime change very unlikely – its energy wealth would always allow it to buy its way out of a crisis. It’s hard not to wonder if this is the sort of information the US State Department used to formulate its seizure of Venezuelan assets and its use of the country’s dependence on food imports to cause famine.

    https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/nov/07/venezuela-not-greece-latin-america-oil-poverty

Bottom line – the USA will never allow a socialist society to have visible success, because it is such a glaring contrast to its unbalanced corporatism model.

… the CIA takeover of America in the 1960s is the story of our time. And our time is now. None of this is ancient history. That is so crucial to grasp. For those who think that learning the truth about the 1960s assassinations is an exercise in futility reserved for those who are living in the past, they need to think again.

Lisa Pease [the author of “A Lie Too Big To Fail”] says:

It was horrible that Robert Kennedy was taken from us far too soon. … It’s horrible the conspiracy was so obvious that bullets had to be lost and switched to hide it. And it’s horrible that the mainstream media has never dared to tell the people of this country that the government lied to us about what they really found when they looked into this case. …

We’ve come perilously close to losing democracy itself because of fake, CIA-sponsored stories about our history. Should America ever become a dictatorship, the epitaph of our democracy must include the role the mainstream media, by bowing to the National Security state, played in killing it.

319 million USAists are not Jewish, Have never heard that even 1% of them has demonstrated against massmurderous US wars, US regime changes and US robbery.

90% of USAmericans regard their army, the most murderous criminal apparatus in the world, as trustworthy, thus are support their capital crimes.

The massmurderous US army consists of 1.4 million armed auxilliaries of US wars, i.e. US soldiers. The over-whelming majority of them are not Jewish. And they all are fully complict in US capital crimes.

Do the obnoxious little criminals who list up for that rogue job of a USAist soldier face fury and contempt in US society? No! You all cheer them up and give them the feeling that they are worthy citizens in your massmurder society.

US military massmurder and wars benefits the US weapon industry. Are, for example, the Koch brothers Jewish? Hardly so. Are the lousy little auxilliaries of murder who waste their lifetime for criminal jobs in armament production for the massmurdering US military industrial complex, objects of hate and fury in the US? Do you tell your children, working for US military production is even more shameless than becoming a prostitute or a drug dealer?

Do you massmurderous and imbecile USAists teach your children that it is dishonest to work for the CIA or other US services, which train terrorists worldwide, spread ethnic hate in foreign countries and plot criminal coup d’etats elsewhere? Or do you treat them as ‘honerable citizens’?

Do you boykott pension funds who finance your pension with blood money, by buying shares of military corporations? Hardly so!

Do you rebel, if your children’s highschools permit army recruitment on their territory?

Do you raise posters, which say “Dear USAmerican compatriots! Everybody of you who fights in US wars and permit their children to think of it, kill and waste their lives for unworthy capital crimes and is willing to serve bloody and cowardly murder!”? No, you don’t.

    You all embrace these wars.
You all are nice to them who kill in these wars.
You are all quite willing to profit from these wars.
None of you stands up against these wars.
None of you feels any inclination to apoligize to victims of your nation’s wars.

Have you ever told a Serbian victim of US aggression that you feel sorry for what your government and army did to him and his family?
Have you ever told an Afghan victim of US aggression that you feel sorry for what your government and army did to him and his family?
Have you ever told an Iraqi victim of US aggression that you feel sorry for what your government and army did to him and his family?
Have you ever told a Lybian victim of US aggression that you feel sorry for what your government and army did to him and his family?
Have you ever told a Syrian victim of US aggression that you feel sorry for what your government and army did to him and his family?

Do you campaign for compensations your country should pay for these people’s misery?

So you are all complicit auxilliaries in mass murder.

Thus your pointing at only 2.5% of your population for crimes you all are guilty of, is nothing but the most shameless form of denial. By doing so, you prove that you are incapable of remorse and redemption. You US fascists are simply uncurable coward supporters of massmurder, mass-robbery and war crimes, including massive torture and abduction, support for terrorism and organisation of international drug trade.

You attitude simply demonstrates that you are all vermin, who do not even deserve the least bit of empathy and pity, before you start to repent what you are guilty of.

The American of Irish, German, Italian and Polish descent have nothing to do with the poverty of Amerindians in Latin America. That is the Criollos who look like Vincente Fox or Pitbull the rapper and are Spanish.

But that is the weird thing. You seem to like the Spanish and accept their White Supremacy over you. Instead you are angry at the Northern Europeans in California who have nothing to do with the history of Mexico.

    I could never understand that.

Really? If you honestly believe what you just said, it makes perfect sense to me now! Why Americans are underestimating their inevitable collapse! I gave you credit for being an intellectual, someone that has a formal education and most likely used it gain access to knowledge guys like me could only dream of. What’s most disheartening about your response is your focus on known suffering and murder at the hands of Communist Dictators. Those terrible atrocities have a common dark hand that directed those events like a concert conductor! And we both know who that was, no need for me to name since you felt the same need not to mention them in your comment.

What I really expected from you was an honest response, addressing why the US feels it can do as it pleases in other countries. With the US in total collapse you never bring it up, are you in denial. I’ll address it for you straight from Mexico! Don’t even try and criticize my writing…English is my second language.

When we take a hard look at US collapse, we see a number of social pathologies on the rise. Not just any kind. Not even troubling, worrying, and dangerous ones. But strange and bizarre ones. Unique ones. Singular and gruesomely weird ones never really seen before, not even in third world countries, I haven’t nor have you, and neither has history. They suggest that whatever “numbers” we use to represent decline — shrinking real incomes, inequality, and so on —we are in fact grossly underestimating what pundits call the “human toll”, but which sensible human beings like you and I should simply think of as the overwhelming despair, rage, and anxiety of living in a collapsing society.

    Let me give you just five examples of what we can call the social pathologies of collapse;

America has had numerous school shootings in the last 5 years. I would be willing to estimate 2 or 3 a year.We hear of no other country that has this type of violence let alone that many occurences. America has had more school shootings in the last 5 years, than anywhere else in the world, even Afghanistan or Iraq. In fact, the phenomenon of regular school shootings appears to be a unique feature of American collapse — it just doesn’t happen in any other country — and that is what I mean by “social pathologies of collapse”: a new, bizarre, terrible disease striking society.

Why are American kids killing each other? Why doesn’t their society care enough to intervene? Well, probably because those kids have given up on life — and their elders have given up on them. Or maybe it’s not that simple. Still, what do the kids who aren’t killing each other do? Well, a lot of them are busy killing themselves.

So there is of course also an “opioid epidemic”. We use that phrase too casually, but it’s much more troubling than it appears at first glance. Here is what is really curious about it. In many countries in the world — most of Asia and Mexico — one can buy all the opioids one wants from any local pharmacy, with an easily obtained prescription. You might suppose then, that opioid abuse as a mass epidemic would be a global phenomenon. Yet we don’t see opioid epidemics anywhere but America — especially not ones so vicious and widespread they shrink life expectancy. So the “opioid epidemic” — mass self-medication with the hardest of hard drugs — is again a social pathology of collapse: unique to American life. It is not quite captured in the numbers, but only through comparison — and when we see it in global perspective, we get a sense of just how singularly troubled American life really is.

Why would people abuse opioids en masse unlike anywhere else in the world? They must be living genuinely traumatic and desperate lives, in which there is little healthcare, so they have to self-medicate their dispair away. Well, consider another example: the “homeless retirees”. They live in their cars, shelters, churches, etc. They go from place to place, chasing whatever assistance is avaiable or any low-wage work they can find , an Amazon warehouse, Christmas, Walmart.

Now, you might say — “well, poor people have always chased seasonal work!” But that is not really the point: absolute powerlessness and complete indignity is. In no other country can we see retirees who should have been able to save up enough to live on, are now living in their cars in order to find work just to go on eating before they die — not even in desperately poor ones, where at least families live together, share resources, and care for one another. This is another pathology of collapse that is unique to America — utter powerlessness to live with dignity. Numbers don’t capture it — but comparisons paint a bleak picture.

How did America’s elderly end up cheated of dignity? After all, even desperately poor countries have “informal social support systems” — otherwise known as families and communities. But in America, there is the catastrophic collapse of social bonds. Extreme capitalism has blown apart American society so totally that people cannot even care for one another as much as they do in places like Mexixo and Nigeria. Social bonds, relationships themselves, have become unaffordable luxuries, more so than even in poor countries: this is yet another social pathology unique to American collapse.

Yet those once poor countries are making great strides. Costa Ricans now have higher life expectancy than Americans — because they have public healthcare. American life expectancy is falling, unlike nearly anywhere else in the world, save the UK — because it doesn’t.

And this is my last pathology: it is one of the soul, not one of the limbs, like the others above. Americans appear to be quite happy simply watching one another die, in all the ways above. They just don’t appear to be too disturbed, moved, or even affected by the four pathologies above: their kids killing each other, their social bonds collapsing, being powerless to live with dignity,or having to numb the pain of it all away.

If these pathologies happened in any other rich country — even in most poor ones — people would be aghast, shocked, and stunned, and certainly moved to make them not happen. But in America, they are, well, not even resigned. They are indifferent, mostly. You say China and Russia are murderous evil countries, but we don’t see this happening there!

I’m not free of any sin, God knows what we did to the native indians of Latin America. The difference between the US and MEX is that we didn’t continue and embarck on the longest continual mass murder ever recored in human history! Don’t be like Wally and tell me to provide proof! It’s has been well documented!

I seem to have more knowledge about the American sickness than you can ever have, because you refuse to see it, let alone write about it or acknowledge it! I gave you too much credit…your are a racist, blind, silly man!

It is not the Irish-American or Polish-America or Italian-American who is responsible for your poverty and corruption but the Spanish Criollo in Mexico City who run your country.

So according to you if Putin were to replace Trump in the White House tomorrow, next thing you know he’d be mass murdering people with drones and bombs; giving away land that’s not his to give away, shamelessly telling lies; making threats; stealing other countries’ assets; trying to overthrow other countries’ governments, etc., just like Trump? All nations have their pathologies and problems, some are common to all nations, others are more idiosyncratic.

Mass murder in schools is quite common in China except that the attacks are mostly with knives and it’s usually adults butchering the children.

Homelessness is far more common in the third world with people living on the street and huge numbers of street children turning to theft, murder, and other crimes at a very young age. Neglecting and not caring for their children while elsewhere they don’t care for their old.

But it’s getting worse everywhere. Many of the positive values in tropical countries, like family values, are being eroded. But this is something that was eroded earlier in the west. Unfortunately it looks bleak everywhere, except for a fortunate few. I don’t know where you get your idea that things are better in the third world or that people are more caring there. And stepping over corpses on the pavement without batting an eyelid while going about your daily business is nothing to be proud of. Wouldn’t it be better to work on ending such scenes and pathologies in your own countries rather than hoping for some future destruction of America and the west, even though that may help in the long run?

True, I think Vincent’s Fox’s grandparents were German immigrants who changed the name from Fuchs to Fox. And his maternal grandfather was from Ireland.

Why don’t you build Aztecs casinos like we did in the US so they do not have to rummage around garbage in Mexico City or immigrate illegally to the US?

As for building a Wall to keep Americans in, the world is too globalized now for such a thing. Mexico’s sub-economy of rednecky Fred Reed type Americans of a certain age who marry Mexican women and feed her entire neighborhood would collapse if Americans were unable to live overseas. Southeast Asia would also face economic collapse unless women there could marry or rent their vaginas to lonesome older men.

Trump himself has houses in other countries. His children are all dual citizens of Czech Republic because of their mother Ivanka. Trump himself is the son of Europeans and a dual citizen.

Americans “trapped” in the US are the poor blacks and white trash who lack the skill-set to make a living overseas and have never gotten off their ass to leave the city they were born in.

As for Venezuela or Iran, the US simply lacks the money after 20 years of losing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to wage another.

Bolton and his compradors have big testicles and no penis. Another war overseas would send the US into complete bankruptcy.

Also, and I am sure Trump knows this, Venezuelans would then do what Afghani and Libyan and Iraqis are doing and invade the US as refugees.

As far as I am concerned, the gnarly Red Indian Cholo demons in the Southwest can have their desert wastelands in Arizona or New Mexico or Southern California.

But distressingly, Mestizos have moved North even as far as New England. When I was young, most of these Indians clustered in barrios on the border of Mexico. Wagon burners have always lived in the desert wastelands but distressingly they bring their cartels and machetes into the East Coast where the power and money are.

However, I agree with you about Venezuela. I suspect that is another power grab for oil resources by Washington DC officials who feel that the Red Indians are too dumb to run a country that will export the resources the US needs.

The problem, as I mentioned before, is that like the refugee crisis in Europe that resulted from Bush this would bring more Red Indian scalpers into the US from godforsaken jungles in South America with machetes and noses like MS-13.

I’m not American but that’s beside the point. I’ve lived in the third world, I’ve lived in the first world, I’ve lived in some countries destroyed by US, I’ve been high, I’ve been low, and I really don’t have an answer. Sometime there’s no point even in telling people anything. Each one has their own point of view and most people are not interested in making things better. And some people are so spiteful that they’d rather drag everyone down with themselves than to see another do better.

If we consider how many nations are pissed off with USA, Israel and the West, in fact the majority of the world’s population, then why don’t they all simply get together and cooperate between themselves to better themselves and if prevented by those western powers to do so then act collectively in their defence? Look, they’ve all seen very well what has happened to one nation after another that stood up to the globalists, imperialists, neocolonialists, so they should all know by now they’re next in line if they haven’t been dealt with yet, so why sit there waiting instead of creating a united front against their common enemies? OK, I know all that divide and rule, but when these nations hate their own neigbours more than those others who hate them all, what can you do? Even just if all the Arabs united Israel wouldn’t last one week. There’s a good video somewhere of some Arab heads of state meeting where Gaddafi berated all the Arab leaders following the hanging of Saddam Hussein telling them they’re all in line for the same treatment and you can see Assad laughing at him. Luckily Assad was saved by the Russians but for Gaddafi it was too late. The whole divide and rule thing is basically like a dog fight or a cock fight. Now people are supposed to be smarter than that and not fall for it, and basically get together and turn against those getting them to fight. It’s simple but I’m still waiting.

I appreciate your insight, I do remember seeing the Gaddafi video, but I didn’t catch Assad laughing. I believe the hate towards the US by other countries, is part of the plan that’s being slowly implemented to bring the collapse of the US. I saw a video that just came out saying Israel has announced their 2 messiahs. According to this person, the Jews are waiting on 2 one to rule 2 1/2 years and the other for 2 1/2. The crazy thing about this video was who they pointed to as the 2. Trump and Obama were the ones named. I thought that was the craziest thing I ever heard, until they showed how they have an underground Temple already being used. It sits under the Mosque of the Dome. They showed a Golden Globe that opens and it looked freaky, brother! Balsenaro was taken there to sign papers and he looked scared. From your link – the money line:

Latin American countries have primarily financed their social programs with extractive exports like petroleum, natural gas and minerals, creating a dependency that some economists claim has caused inflation and slowed growth.

Costing Wall Street investors will start a war every time, and those wars start with a whole lot of name calling you socialist pig. In addition to name calling, you have bullshit empty claims such as from the quote “some economists claim”, without much detail or data.

Void from your propaganda piece is any mention of other war tactics such as sanctions and blockades that might add to more “economists claims”.

But at the end of the day there still is no free health care or free college education(unlike Israel which has both, and how many people/pundits/politicians are waving their finger at Israel while gnashing their teeth – socialism!)

I stand by my opinion that the problem of Mexican Indians is the Criollo Spanish and not white Americans.

If the border was secured entirely there would be endlessly revolutions among the poor Indians in Central America.

So one of the tacit arrangements between Mexico’s white rulers and Washington DC has been that a certain percentage of the Indian population can cross the border in the US which takes the onus off the 10% of Mexico’s population that is white.

    https://www.darkmoon.me/2019/exclusive-is-trump-the-new-jewish-messiah/

Pompeo doesn’t look too happy either. Hope they don’t bring Putin down there.

Since they’ve got these tunnels under the mosque of the Dome I was wondering why they don’t pack them with explosives and blow the mosque above to kingdom come as they can’t start building their third temple and carry on fulfilling the prophecy of the messiah and Satan with the mosque still standing. I thought originally the idea was for one messiah and then for Satan himself to come and rule. Definitely Jews and some others, like the Zio-Christians are working towards this. When Satan comes then they will diverge, as Jews will want him to rule forever while the Christians expect Christ to return for the final battle. Apparently, from some interviews I’ve seen, Al Qaida and ISIS also believe in this end-of-times prophecy, and strange as it may seem, considering their brutality towards Christians, also believe in the second coming of Jesus and the final battle. Maybe that explains why ISIS has not been confrontational with Israel and has had assistance from Israel. I know many say ISIS is just a Mossad creation, but perhaps they’re some kind of undeclared Zio-Muslims, by analogy with the Zio-Christians, waiting for this apocalyptic resolution at Armageddon and so need the Jews to fulfill their part of the prophecy. I’m not well versed in all this but many fanatics swear by it. I just think it’s a pity we have to go trough the rule of the Messiah and Satan before J.C. comes down to put things right.

From what I can tell, among all these end-of-times people there are definitely many who are sincere decent folks who are absolutely fed up with the violence, exploitation and degeneracy of the current world situation but are the most apathetic and will not put up a struggle to change things as they claim it is all futile since the prophecy time-line has to be strictly adhered to.

Thanks for the invite but I’m finding it too much of a hassle to travel in an ever more crowded, hostile, and un-free world. Take care.
