I like conspiracy theories; they attempt to inject meaning into otherwise meaningless sets of assorted facts. They bring Logos into our life, as our friend E. Michael Jones would say. An enemy of conspiracy theories would write in the New York Times denouncing Sir Isaac Newton as a notorious conspiracy theorist: out of totally disconnected facts (apple fall, water pumping, artillery shelling) he concocted the conspiracy theory of gravitation claiming that bodies are mutually attracted proportionally to their mass. This is obviously false, he would say, as you can observe at any beach; if there should be a formula, it is that of inverse proportionality. Slim girls and boys attract much more than obese body-positives, and mutuality does not come into this equation. Still the gravitation hoax of Newton has been taught in schools. In NYTimese, this is simply “spreading baseless lies and debunked nonsense about the false rumours”.

The great coronavirus panic of AD 2020 with its enormous consequences is an event that calls for a sensible explanation. How could a minor disease killing an infinitesimal part of population (0.000045) had caused the collapse of civilisation as we knew it? Why is a civilisation that robustly weathered the killing of the flower of its youth in its prime on the fields of Verdun and Stalingrad unable to survive the demise of a few superannuated men such that it withdrew into self-isolation, while giving up the faith, love of neighbour, opposition to old enemies and then destroying its economy, education and reproductivity?

One wants to find a conspiracy to explain it away. Who did it? Who locked billions under house arrest; who caused men and women to view each other as a source of mortal danger instead of potential friends or even lovers; who turned churches, mosques and synagogues into empty and unneeded buildings? There are many forces that enjoyed the accompanying windfall, and quite a few were ready for it for a long time. But there is a non-conspiratorial explanation: perhaps we experience such a systemic shift that no single force would be able to achieve; a systemic shift of magnitude unseen for hundreds of years.

We are still in an early stage of the ongoing transformation; we still hope it will be over in the summer, or at least at autumn, or next winter, but most probably our life as we knew is over. Can we blame it on the virus, even if it was manufactured in the evil labs of the US or China, as has been convincingly suggested by Ron Unz? There are millions of viruses, and mankind had managed to live with them all. There was no reason to freak out and destroy our civilisation for another virus.

Imagine a man who received a Nigerian letter, promising him millions; and he sold his house, took a loan, sent his wife and children to beg on the street in order to collect the Nigerian millions. We wouldn’t say, “the Nigerian letter caused his downfall”, because so many people had received Nigerian letters, but only one man acted like he did. No doubt, the letter was a nasty attempt to defraud, but the problem was in him, not in the Nigerian letter.

The previous shift of such magnitude occurred in late 18th century; it is called the Industrial Revolution. Then the factory owners had begun to replace their skilled labour with inexpensive machines, and the workers were losing their jobs, livelihoods and self-esteem. In 1811, the workers formed the Luddite movement. The Luddites would break into factories and smash textile machines. It lasted until 1816, when the movement ran out of steam. The workers were defeated, (a lot of them escaped to America), and the British bourgeoisie prospered. It took many years until the workers regained some of their previous positions in society, mainly due to the threat of Communist revolution.

Now we are coming to the new Digital Revolution, with workers being replaced by smart computers and an AI future. Millions of office workers already function as a human interface to the computer. You may have noticed this as you talk with them: they are trained to avoid making decisions; they say sentences that were scripted for them, and the decisions are made by the computer that was programmed to do their master’s will. As lockdown had forced millions to communicate with computers directly, a lot of workers became superfluous.

The process of shedding millions of workers in the existing economic system is likely to be painful for the unemployed. The virus-blamed lockdown and digital control allows the owners of the digital companies to carry out the revolution with minimal risks for them. What would need an army and police involvement against riotous unemployed workers, can be achieved with greater ease under threat of the pandemic. The economy will be modernized and made more efficient. Alas, for us this script presages the fate of highly qualified weavers in 18th century England, even if we shall avoid the total AI takeover Terminator-style.

Probably the scariest piece of news is not about the numbers of “infected”. It is a meaningless word, for there are persistent carriers who do not succumb to disease; the vast majority of the “infected” are asymptomatic, meaning they aren’t sick and aren’t infectious; the number of “infected” is in direct proportion to the number of tests; the tests are dubious at best, and none is verified by the methods accepted in pre-corona medicine, while the methodology approved and enforced by the WHO can’t be described as scientific. It is not about deaths, for we do not experience more deaths than in 2018. Moreover, in many countries, notably in France and in Norway there are 30% fewer deaths in certain weeks of April and May in this year than in the last year.

ORDER IT NOW

The scariest piece of news is that Zoom is worth more than the seven biggest airlines. These airlines with their accumulated labour (millions of working hours, hundreds of thousands of employees, highly trained pilots, masses of sophisticated equipment) just can’t be worth as much as a job done in a month by a few programmers and which can be done anew in a month. Money and stock market prices are useful tools if they measure human efforts; they do not that anymore. What began with bankers earning more money in a day than a hundred qualified workers and engineers in their lifetime, ended with the hi-tech lords earning more than a million workers in their lifetime. It means that Money had banked on the Digital Economy, a Union made in Hell, while the real economy came up for grabs. Money decided that we won’t fly anymore. They, the new masters, will fly in their private jets; the era of mass access is over. You will get satisfied with Zoom and PornHub, instead of the real thing.

Added to this the negative oil future price and the emission centres issuing more and more money, trying to smother the fire with gasoline, and you will get a picture of the coming world. There is probably no place for you and me in this world.

Is the great AI update of technology an objective need, and will it eventually bring good for mankind? Perhaps. But it does not mean the process should be drafted by Money and the Digital Economy, explained by MSM, justified by bio-horrors and carried on at public expense. It has to be done differently if we want to preserve the achievements of the long (1945-2020) peace stretch.

Money and Digit are just shadows of the real world. The problem is that the shadows had forgotten their rightful place at the feet of their master. “The short guys that wear yarmulkes every day and count my money”, in Trump’s words, had learned the knack of turning Trump’s (and your) money into their money. If they have so much money, they set the priorities, by further displacing the real world and real people with shadows. So the real solution to the problem is not in a vaccine or lockdown, but is to be found in returning the Shadow to its rightful place at the feet of the Real World.

Digital companies, called GAFAM (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft) have too much power. This power needs more public control so they won’t be able to ban free media like The Unz Review or buy too much of the real world. These things have to be attended to urgently. Covid is less urgent, because it is just the smoke used by GAFAM and its brethren to carry out their Digital Revolution in the most profitable (for them) way.

And now we can return to conspiracy theories. If the virus is the great destroyer as presented, why didn’t poor countries with little value and no hi-tech suffer? Why is poor Cambodia not devastated by Covid? Cambodians have little medical care, and they accepted a whole boat-load of “infected” passengers from The Diamond Princess. They also have thousands of Chinese tourists. And they have no Covid in their poor country. Why does Mongolia, China’s neighbour with its very strong connections with China, have no Covid?

Why do only rich countries suffer? Why is it only the countries with a powerful liberal press, with a positive connection to the WHO, with developed hi-tech infrastructure and their own digital lords? Could it be simply that they have something to loot? It makes sense to loot Belgium, and Belgians have a lot of Covid. But it makes no sense to loot Mongolia or Cambodia. If you follow me thus far, you will also see that such things can’t happen by themselves. GAFAM is the prime mover and the beneficiary, while Gates is the link between them and the WHO.

Without the WHO’s blessing, no country would entertain the idea of lockdown. The WHO has learned much since 2009, and eventually decided to play Covid as hard as it could. President Trump has good instincts, even if he provides wrong explanations. The WHO is indeed a central player in the conspiracy. They even had to kill their own top executive in January 2020, who notably objected to classifying Covid as a pandemic. The WHO offered a $60 million bribe to Belarus President Lukashenko for locking down his nation, but the president refused the bribe as he felt responsible for the wellbeing of Belarus. And indeed, free Belarus has roughly the same share of Covid infections and deaths as its locked down neighbours Ukraine and Poland. Poland is a bit worse off because it is a fatter prey than lean Belarus. The WHO even tried to bribe Madagascar which developed its own medical low-tech treatment for Covid sufferers with surprisingly good results. The WHO offered a bribe to their president to say that people died of the treatment. (Not that Madagascar, being poor, had much to worry about it.)

President Trump has had reason to be unhappy about China, as this great country invented lockdown as a tool to fight epidemics in 2009, when the world was worried about the swine flu H1N1. Then China began to practice massive lockdowns, quarantining whole cities, declaring that hundreds of thousands are infected, restricting air travel and producing a vaccine. The measures were taken when only 30 persons succumbed to the flu, and the WHO objected to the Chinese actions. Eventually 3,000 died in the US, and 800 in China. The profits from marketing the vaccine were enormous. “Windfall for the Big Pharma”, reported Reuters. WHO also profited, and did not report about their own involvement. Thus the partnership of Big Pharma – China – WHO had been formed, and they were willing to repeat the old script on a larger scale. They did it in 2020.

The Chinese didn’t hesitate to lock down Wuhan in 2020, and this time, their example has been followed by other countries. Enemies of China say that by spreading their model the Chinese wanted to attack the economies of other states in order to buy their assets on the cheap. Others add that China locked down troublesome cities like Wuhan, which were seen as likely to rebel following Hong Kong model. Friends of China say that the critique of China is connected with the US desire to default on its $1.3 trillion debt to China. And besides, China had been attacked many times by US bioweapons, so it had to be careful.

ORDER IT NOW

Let us say that China didn’t and couldn’t force any state to use its model. On the other hand, the WHO and assorted forces in other countries were quick to recognise the advantages of lockdown for them, and it was not for any epidemiological reasons. Some wanted to profit like they did in 2009, but on a bigger scale; some had political reasons, elections, civil unrest; some wanted to put ordinary people down under their control. They succeed, at our expense and at the expense of the Real World.

The present lockdown had brought the world to the brink of a grim totalitarian dystopia. Even though the actual disease had been contained, and the perpetrators of the scheme need more and more crude falsifications to prove the opposite; their drive for control has just increased.

In Israel, everyone has to install and use the Mossad-prepared app tracing all your contacts. The app can send you a text message saying “You passed by a corona-infected person; you have to immediately proceed to your home and stay there in seclusion for a fortnight”. You can’t argue with the app, and the app won’t pay your mortgage and your grocery bills.

In Moscow the regime of control is also by an app. A person who visited hospital or even a doctor, has to install the app, and send a selfie whenever the app demands, even in the middle of the night. An omission to comply within one minute is punished by a 4000 roubles (US$55) fine. If you sleep soundly, you’ll wake up in the morning with a heap of these fines.

The Moscow regime of surveillance and control is exceedingly strict. You have to apply for a QR pass to leave your home, marking your destination and the reason. Churches and parks are not listed as permitted destinations. Only a few people disagree with the arrangement. People in general take it easy. They share on Facebook their satisfaction with the system, enthusing that it was easy to apply and receive the pass. Is it Stalin’s training of their parents, or slavery (until 1861) of their more remote ancestors that installed this compliance and obedience, I mused, but then I noticed the report from the freedom-loving State of Washington:

“Washington Governor Jay Inslee (D) indicated that people who refuse to cooperate with contact tracers won’t be allowed to leave their homes, even to go to the grocery store or pharmacy”.

Alas, people all over the world are easily bendable to the will of the authorities, especially if they are scared by medical jargon. Latin Americans, supposedly hot-tempered folk, placidly complied with Covid regulations; but before that, they obeyed their tyrants and dictators. In democratic New Zealand, a bill passed giving police sweeping powers to potentially enter homes without warrants to enforce Covid rules despite opposition objections, though the Human Rights Commission said it was “a great failure of our democratic process”. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, the book and the film, remind us there aren’t many rebels. The Majority agrees even to the most awful regimes. I am against lockdown because I value freedom more than I value life, but it is just a personal preference.

In order to convince people, the Covid enforcers say they do it “to save the old and vulnerable”. This is a pathetic lie. Actually they created an extremely uncomfortable regime for old people. In Israel, there is a plan (yet to materialise) to issue a ‘green patch’ to people over 60. Only persons displaying the green patch are allowed to go into public space. An elderly person is liable to arrest and fine if he fails to display the patch. The patch will be issued by police after a medical check-up, and will be valid for a year. Even green patch bearers will be forbidden to fly. It does not sound like protection of the elderly. Israel is not alone: in American Samoa, people over 60 must stay at home, imprisoned. You can view the limitations of natural freedom in various countries to see how they compete over who will make their citizens more miserable. It makes for depressing reading.

Was the lockdown necessary at all for purely medical reasons? Did it save lives? I do not think so, but the jury is still out. We shall know the exact answer in a year’s time. If Covid-19 will be gone like its predecessors Avian flu (2003) and swine flu (2009), the lockdown was not too bad an idea. Perhaps it was not really necessary, for it saved a few people at huge social cost, but it wasn’t not too bad. However, if Covid-19 has come to stay and will invade regularly, the lockdown makes no sense at all.

Covid adepts tend to think we should expect the second wave, and more waves afterwards. Some of them preach to extend quarantine for a year or longer. It can’t be done – we shall not survive such a long house arrest as a species. What is annoying is that they insist on imposing the wearing of masks, even gloves and social distancing right now and forever. They also block international travel. The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov predicted that our pre-Covid freedom of movement won’t come back.

While we can’t possibly derail progress and stop the Digital Revolution, we can end the accompanying fraud and extra-legal restrictions on our freedom to move. We also should cherish the few remaining platforms like UR that allow us to express and share unorthodox views.

  1. When the Israeli cops entered the “Judaic neighbourhood” where all the signs are in “Yiddish” according to the RT dolla standing next to giant Hebrew signage, the entire tribe started chanting “Nazi, Nazi, Nazi…” at the police. Now they gonna be wearing a patch on their coat?
It would be funny, if not so damnably sad…
Also, will I ever see the inside of a supermarket again?
I remember the very first time I encountered Microsoft. A quick scan of the core files, a few attempts to take control of the security protocol, and I turned to my friend who owned the computer and said: “This Bill Gates is the most evil guy ever, will you look at this?”
For those of us who know to blow our nose, this new “health care regime” will be as big a disconnect from health as microsoft was from owning a computer. It looks like the real thing, but it ain’t really yours, and it is poisoning you in the background.

Yes, and the proof is that today, as one can see in that quote, even metaphors are machine-oriented.

Why do only rich countries suffer? Why is it only the countries with a powerful liberal press, with a positive connection to the WHO, with developed hi-tech infrastructure and their own digital lords? Could it be simply that they have something to loot?

Or perhaps those are the countries where a greater number of people live to an advanced age and/or which are able to treat several illnesses which would otherwise kill those who have them.

Faced with a pandemic, or a fake pandemic, there are three possible courses of action …
#1 – take all possible measures to contain it
#2 – take a few half-hearted measures to contain it
#3 – take no measures to contain it.

Yet, the hoaxers like Shamir only consider two possibilities, #2 – which is what we’re doing in the US, and #3 – which the hoaxers recommend.

They always omit to mention #1, and the countries that have taken approach #1 and contained the virus, South Korea being the best known example. Ref:

Were there lock-downs from the Asian Flu epidemic in the late 1950s or the Hong Kong Flu outbreak in the late 1960s? How many died with the Asian Flu and/or Hong Kong Flu vs. the (((coronavirus.))) Of course with this latest (((virus))) we have already found out that they are FUDGING THE NUMBERS. We can’t be sure if the patient died WITH the virus or FROM the virus, hell, we aren’t even sure if the patient died WITHOUT the virus nowadays.

    Isn’t a theory of a conspiracy.

Why does the word ‘conspiracy’ have such power to prevent most people from lifting a finger in aid of even obtaining a definition? You wrote an article about it and still use an amorphous, polluted mockery of a real, defined word which is useful for more than dreck when not sabotaged by CIA-enablers and useful drones.

I am not sympathetic to conspiracy theories in general and think the comparison to the theory of gravity inapt – one describe a law of reality and the other invents a secret cabal of conspirators, but your mention of Cambodia is astounding. I looked it up and it seems they had some cases and then they had no more.

Cambodia is an extremely disorganised society. You are met at the border by legions of polio/mine victims, child beggars and prostitutes. Some people belong to all three categories.

The above sounds like a harsh admonishment of the Cambodian people but they are warm and communal and really have a lot of trauma to get over; and hopefully they will have as good a future as their medieval history suggests they might.

Nonetheless, how on earth does such a chaotic place have zero Coronavirus? And, as you say, despite having been inundated with Chinese bus tours and superspreaders off cruise ships? That beggars belief.

Yet it is true. They are even allowing tourists back in.

Nor are they great at dealing with disease in general. The easily eradicable dengue is rife, as is the worse kind of malaria.

    I don’t get it.

A fair question to ask might be if most Cambodians are genetically immune?

Indeed, perhaps a lot of East and South-East Asians in general are genetically immune?

I have no reason to believe this other than it fits demographic data in all parts of the world, but lots of general theories might also fit that data. It is just an off-hand comment.

Nonetheless, I really can’t imagine how else Cambodia would be so utterly unaffected.

I don’t know where you got that from, but the best scientific research shows that infected asymptomatic people are infectious, and not only that, they were responsible for 79% of symptomatic infections in the early stages of the epidemic in China:

    https://doi.org/10.1126/science.abb3221

This work used massive data and advanced mathematical and statistical modelling to arrive to that conclusion. Data and computer code are available for download so you can examine them, find flaws, in case you want to defend your assertion.

Why do you keep harping on PornHub? All the writers who mistook a porn site’s marketing gimmick for the end of civilisation and mentioned it in all of their articles did a marvelous job of promoting PornHub. There always seems to be some ‘conservative’ wailing loudly about porn, and one always wonders how they seem to know so much about something that they claim to abhor.

Also, why do you use the gelded Left’s expression ‘scary’? Haven’t you noticed that it’s one of the words used to trigger infantile, effeminate fear in unthinking people? Little children say “Mommy, I’m scared!”, often without justification. Adults on the other hand express concern, or fear, in relation to the seriousness of the threat. If Orwell were alive today, he’d revise his dystopian novel to include this particular corruption of English for its mind-controlling effect.

  15. Poor countries generally don’t have the technology to even know if they have coronavirus, that’s why it looks like they don’t have many cases (they are all of rich people in that country that can manage to get hold of a test). And you are seeing this mostly in small poor countries. In bigger poor countries, such as India and Brazil, there are by now enough cases that people are noticing them. Plus, it looks like for some reason, it’s true that heat makes the coronavirus spread more slowly, and most poor countries are quite hot right now, and some of them all year round.

As for you valuing freedom over life, that’s simply what you believe right now. You probably have never faced that particular choice, as most people in rich countries haven’t. Many people have found that when given the actual choice, their values weren’t what they thought before that they were. Many people have abandoned their religion, politics, sexual taboos and other things they sincerely believed were their highest values when faced with the alternative of death. But even if you are personally correct, when you look at the collective you have to face the reality that the vast majority of people value their life over all else except, perhaps, the life of their children and other close family (which is what makes soldiers fight). Certainly they don’t only value life over their own freedom, but also other people’s freedom. And when you think about it, this is hardly surprising. Those who value life over all else are, by definition, survivors.

The reality is that you are fighting a battle you are extremely likely to lose, which is why you aren’t even trying to argue for freedom over life, you are trying to argue that life isn’t really at stake, and if there are doubts then anyway freedom over life sounds good. But if the reality is that the life of close family members is at stake, then what?

  22. There is a simpler explanation for possibly excessive lock downs than the author provides. Even in authoritarian countries decision makers must seek to avoid blame for something which will cause strong emotions. So, above all, politicians had to ensure that people would not be dying for want of capacity in the health system – lack of ventilators and ICU beds typically in rich but underprepared countries. So there had to be flattening of the curve. The diffusion of responsibility in the US (and Brazil we read) means that, in the absence of vigorous federal/central government takeover of control, President Trump can get away with complete indifference to the number killed by Covid 19 though, of course, he can’t say that.

Technological progress is unavoidable. We may like or dislike it, but probably we have to get used to it. And it goes for nasty things, too. Just compare collectivisation in Soviet Russia and the Grapes of Wrath in the US – both processes eliminated small farmers and created big agricultural estates.

Oh man, what a rambling mess.

It is like this senile old man had all these thoughts frantically running through his mind, causing an overload on his feeble grey matter, so he simply puked it out, and it transformed into an article on tUR.

Was the lockdown necessary at all for purely medical reasons? Did it save lives? I do not think so, but the jury is still out. We shall know the exact answer in a year’s time.

Logic states that social distancing should work to curb contagious diseases. Sure, it may surge again when the lockdown is lifted, but what the period of quarantining has provided is some extra time to find new drugs, work on vaccines, ease up on medical infrastructure, etc. If somebody is claiming that the entire thing is a hoax, that is simply nonsensical, because it should be nigh impossible to get all the affected countries to play up the “hoax.”

I am sure that there are plenty of conspiracy theories which probably have some truth to them, but here it appears that Shamir is simply trying to be obstinate just for the sake of it, because he too admits he does not really know what he is rambling about.

This essay is utterly brilliant. It is so correct in everything stated except for one thing. The “scariest piece of news” is not what Mr. Shamir says, the “scariest piece of news” is the complete loss of freedom from the contact tracing and technology used to implement it.

  31. Has it occurred to anyone the SARS-CoV-2 virus is highly contagious but not as lethal as the Imperial College, WHO, CDC, Gates and Co and a compliant media would have us believe? We have been the targets of a sophisticated global psy-op and fear mongering campaign. In my mind Gates rather than the WHO is the central character and prime suspect in this “conspiracy” because he stands to gain the most. Look at all the money he will make off of the Coronavirus vaccine patents, the subsequent vaccines and his unearned authoritarian status as the pandemic guru. He is the one who funds all the other players: WHO, CDC, GAVI, Johns Hopkins etc.
The corporate media and GAFM have monopolized Gates narrative “vaccines are the only solution” (the old problem, reaction solution game). They are implementing Recommendation 7 from the Event 201 reports, that calls for the suppression of all other ideas, theories and modalities about the virus.
People who are asymptomatic may have stronger immune systems that are not compromised but they may spread it to those whose systems are compromised due to pre-existing conditions like: obesity, hyper tension, respiratory ailments, cancer, diabetes, pulmonary ailments etc. Let’s not forget that many of those who died in Italy the UK and the US were elderly who were in long term residential facilities or sent to hospitals and placed on ventilators which proved fatal. In Italy the average age of those with it who succumbed was 79. The media never tells us SARS-CoV-2 has an 84% recovery rate which is also part and parcel of the conspiracy. Food for thought.

Most of World history is based on conspiracy. The act of conspiring in secret against other companies, political parties, citizens, consumers, countries is as real as gravity which is not a theory but a law (even if not fully understood).

Law enforcement consider conspiracy in every crime. They develop theories as to motive and means so as to target possible suspects. People go to jail every day for violating conspiracy laws. Companies used to be punished for collusion with other companies to fix prices before the elite convinced everyone it did not exist but was simply conscious parallelism.

The riff raff who conspire to do illegal things will surely be caught sooner or later. Therefore the idea that rich and powerful who have influence over the the justice department and law enforcement and captured regulatory agencies might conspire with other like minded persons for a common and interlocked purpose and get away with it is simply shocking. Lol

Those who conspire would certainly prefer that the people they conspire against would not engage in theorizing on a conspiracy that had resulted in negative consequences for the bottom 90% but created immense wealth for the top 1% and a few crumbs for the 9% lackeys. So they acquire control over MSM and most of alt media and social media, not to mention Hollywood, book publishers, etc to censor conspiracy theories (except the most ridiculous ones created to discredit logical theories or in a fictionalized setting).

Of course, everything happens due to Coincidence Incompetence and Accident . Thats the CIA version of history and reality. Funny how the coin always lands heads up in favor of the 1%. Statistically thats significant and supports the idea of a Conspiracy hypothesis.

I like conspiracy theories; they attempt to inject meaning into otherwise meaningless sets of assorted facts.

Conspiracy theories arise from the unexplained, illogical responses of power to certain events: religion gives meaning to the world and why things happen, consipracy theories give meaning to why people do things that cannot be explained using logic.

For example, why would a government destroy its own economy, even if 10% of the country was going to die from a virus? It is not logical. That is like jumping out of a boat because you had heard that 10% of boats spring leaks: why would you do such an illogical thing. To try to bring some understanding to these illogical human actions, or sometimes the illogical govrnment explanations for certain events (such as the government response to the Kennedy assassination) people construct theories that are then denigrated as “conspiracy” theories.

The reason they are conspiracy theories is because they inevitably walk along the path that includes questions such as: “the government must be destroying the economy for a reason, any other explanation does not make sense, these are intelligent people”, which then lead onto “maybe the government has other objectives for the response to this pandemic, maybe the objective is not fighting the virus” which then leads onto “hang on a second, why are all governments taking these extreme measures that don’t make sense, one doing it is randomly possible, but all of them” to “maybe they are working together to achieve a change in the world” and so on and on and on.

The reason for a conspiracy theory is actually to explain the situation where the illogical response of government does not make sense in the light of events. People see UFOs then the government lies to the people about the sighting of the UFOs denying such sightings, so the people – who know what they saw – start accusing the government of a cover up and sure enough, 70 years later we start seeing official records about military sightings of UFOs.

Conspiracy theories have so frequently been proven to be correct that not considering them makes for questionable intelligence.

” I turned to my friend who owned the computer and said: “This Bill Gates is the most evil guy ever, will you look at this?””

I disagree somewhat. Of course he does appear to be “the most evil guy ever”, but that’s just because of his unusual position and influence.

In fact Gates is just a run of the mill corporate psychopath. There are tens of thousands of them; they fester in the top management of any corporation or government.

His extraordinary power to do harm stems from his early grasp of the potential offered by software. Starting by snapping up one of the first practical PC operating systems from its originator, who was having a bad time, he proceeded to con IBM (a good trick!) with the help of his highly influential mother (a friend of IBM’s CEO). That gave him the effective monopoly of PC software – a market that expanded to literally billions. As we all know, if you have 2 billion customers and you sell each of them an upgrade costing $100 every 2 years, that alone gives you a guaranteed, effortless income of $50 billion a year for very little outlay.

Now, like any good psychopath who unexpectedly finds himself only the second richest person in the world, he is looking for ways to make many more hundreds of billions. The vaccine racket fits the Bill perfectly. Spend some money on research, marketing and bribery; a bit more on manufacturing; and then rake in $50-100 for each of billions of people. What happens to those people afterwards is no concern of his, although if a lot of them die he wouldn’t much mind.

Gates has no special skill as a programmer; but he is an extremely astute and cynical business man. Like Donald Trump, he is the epitome of the US culture. How true it is that every people gets the government that it deserves! And the billionaire monopolists that it deserves, too.

Conspiracy theories are fun. I made up about three or four about this event. One is quite simple, which is usually considered a good quality in a theory. Here it is, for your entertainment.

The virus is too human-adapted for the wet market theory. It contains some sequence otherwise only known in HIV. (This is usually the entry point for bio-weapon theories. This is not one of them.) The virus also seems to have been around for much longer than initially suspected.

From these three pieces of evidence, and knowing that viral DNA/RNA can recombine in cells when simultaneously infected by multiple strains, we might start to speculate that this thing was created naturally by some precursor strain infecting what in some circles are affectionately called human petri dishes. I’m of course talking about members of the gay bathhouse scene.

The conspiracy part now is very simple. Enough gays in high places had the same thought, maybe even evidence. That’s it. Now the same dynamics of an artificial health scare affecting “everybody” as with AIDS played out. The twin motivations being to make everybody pay for gay health, and to keep everybody from thinking that two global pandemics might finally start to justify some kind of crack down on the gay bathhouse scene.

The thing of course rests on the utterly unproven premise that gay networks permeate all centers of power in the West. More so than even the Jew, because more, err, intimately interconnected. Remember, it’s just a conspiracy theory.

But even if you are personally correct, when you look at the collective you have to face the reality that the vast majority of people value their life over all else except, perhaps, the life of their children and other close family (which is what makes soldiers fight).

What actually makes soldiers fight has been established from the beginning. It is “unit solidarity”. No infantryman sitting in his trench is thinking about wife, family, country, freedom, profits or anything else beyond his most immediate challenges. What makes him jump out of the trench and run into gunfire is his willingness to die for the men he knows up and down the trench. Basic infantry training is nothing more than a few weeks or months of lifting a man out of his previous life and replacing all those instincts of the previous life with “unit solidarity”.

How does this apply to the Covid imperative? One thing you notice immediately is that conformity to the lockdown rules is much more rigid and well-enforced now that the curve has been flattened than it was at the beginning, when it would have been more critical. People are beginning to replace their pre-Covid skepticism with the new values. This has occurred even though the rules become less and less tied to rational dangers and seem to change with every new whim of the rulers.

The lesson is that people are very easily herded into any system where social solidarity and emotional sloganeering can be applied.

The independently minded military trainee is quickly identified by the drill sergeants and is encouraged to apply to officer training or is bounced from the service. The independently minded American who stands outside Plato’s cave mouth and watches the reality rather than the shadows on the walls will either be isolated by force or will figure out how to profit from the hoax.

They sure had everything ready beforehand. The leaders have never been hesitant about getting large numbers of their own people killed in false flags or wars they fancied.

“If somebody is claiming that the entire thing is a hoax, that is simply nonsensical, because it should be nigh impossible to get all the affected countries to play up the ‘hoax.‘“

Impossible because what? I’ve said this in other comments, but again, all the affected countries are ruled by sycophants who have been taught “good governance” while attending the same courses, symposia, fora, colloquia. They are all schooled by “advisers” with the same training, taught to respond to events in the same manner. They all have the same masters. They are co-opted, picked to govern because they are NWO-compatible. Macron, the president of France is a Rothschild lackey crafted by Jacques Attali. Vučić, the president of Serbia is a former ultra-nationalist, minister of propaganda under Slobodan Milošević, turned globalist who hired Tony Blair as special adviser. They all play in the same team and it isn’t the people’s team. It doesn’t have to be a conspiracy. They are programmed to behave the same. Why is that so hard to grasp?

There were no lockdowns in the 50’s or the 60’s. Those were influenza epidemics, which just died out as they were allowed to run their natural course.

This time around the “authorities” seem determined to minimise natural herd immunity, hence the lockdowns and shutdowns.

The intentionally engineered lack of natural herd immunity is simply a tactic to clear the way for a toxic vaccine. The vaccine will of necessity be highly experimental, hardly tested. The vaccine makers will be by law free of all liability for any harm caused by it. Any real immunity to rapidly mutating coronaviruses will at best be fleeting, (or illusory) and so we will be told that repeated shots will be needed.

Making the vaccine compulsory will be the golden icing on an already very large cake and so some stinking rich people are going to get an awful lot richer. How lucky is that?

If the inherent dangers of this first ever experimental RNA vaccine aren’t enough to chill you to your marrow, then you can always remind yourself, that behind all the ballyhoo and cheering you will find the stinking rich Bill Gates, eugenicist and fervent advocate of global depopulation.

Zion’s Undeclared Soviets in the Americas, however, has a severe shortage of ‘ventilators’, even though they are extremely dangerous to use on inflamed lungs, because, hell, 39 grand for every name on the intubation list? For example:
There is obvious demographic replacement of white majority countries occurring this very moment yet should you speak out against it you’re called a conspiracy theorists. And when this is called out they’ll shift the goalposts and build a strawman, acknowledging on one hand that the demographics are changing then claiming you must think it’s some plot by a cabal in a shadowy room on the other. None of the statistics being reported on the number of coronavirus cases can be trusted as there is no accurate test for COVID-19 , see : “Manufactured pandemic, testing people for any strain of a coronavirus , not specifically for COVID-19” globalresearch.ca. The tests being used have neither been validated nor peer- reviewed and were allowed to be used by the CDC under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). Also the CDC has been reporting COVID-19 deaths as both confirmed and presumed . As the tests are no good you cannot confirm a death and how can you list a death as presumed ? In Colorado where deaths were being listed as died from and died with COVID-19 , they went through the death certificates and backed-out the “died with” cases and reduced the death count by almost 25%. In any event the statistics are worthless, particularly those coming out of Johns Hopkins which has received considerable funding from both Bill Gates and Michael Bloomberg who both have an interest in eugenics and producing a vaccine.

You are right. The same actors behind the Global Warming scam are behind the COVID scam. AGW wasn’t going to allow them to succeed in winning the Fourth Industrial Revolution (actually 4th Reich-public private partnerships are right out of Mussolini and Hitlers playbook) because the threat was not immediate enough. Pandemics do the trick in promoting immediate terror and fear and unlike the GWOT it wont fizzle out, which is why they have been experimenting with them for 20 years.

Lot of Pandemic Planning has taken place over the last 20 years. Looking at the time line this was a planned operation executed on a global scale. Even China, Iran and Russia are going along.

2003 (February) JASON group (scientific think tank) issues DARPA funded study report on Biotetection Architectures stating “It is essential to conduct realistic exercises of a biodetection architecture in order to assess technical capabilities and refine operational procedures …. useful exercise(s) should entail pre-defined tests of the system through a series of staged events.”

    2003-SARS Hysteria

2006, WEF Global Risk Program released the first Global Risks Report with warnings about global problems and suggestions on how to solve them with the aid from Big Business. The purpose was to “advance the thinking around more effective mitigation of global risks”. Three main threats were identified in the first report: Terrorism, Climate Change, and Pandemics. The consequences of a lethal flu could be severe and in the end reshape the world.

A lethal flu, its spread facilitated by global travel patterns and uncontained by insufficient warning mechanisms, would present an acute threat. Short-term economic impacts would include severe impairment of travel, tourism and other service industries, as well as manufacturing and retail supply chains. Global trade, investor risk appetites and consumption demand could suffer for more extended periods. Deep shifts in social, economic and political relations are possible. (World Economic Forum, Global Risk Report, 2006)

WEF concluded that “the impact on society might be as profound as that which followed the Black Death in Europe in 1348”. The advise was to develop a strategy to mitigate these risks:

    • Top-down surveillance of threats at the global level (such as satellite monitoring of the environment);
    • Effective dissemination of information from the bottom-up (such that transparency allows for the quick responses needed to contain, for example, SARS or avian flu);
    • Early-warning mechanisms (for example, to provide early warning of future earthquake-induced tsunamis in the Indian Ocean);
    • Appropriate mechanisms to inform the public about risk (such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) to prevent “infodemics” and create appropriate expectations of risk;
    • Exchanges on global best practice (including through trade associations), and advice that can be shared between governments and businesses on their risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Another advise was to harness expertise from the private sector as they were said to be “ahead of the public sector in its mitigation of risks”.
Soon after the release of the Global Risk Report, reports about the Bird Flu (H5N1) started to make headlines and scare the public. It did, however, soon blow over without making the profound impact on society that had first been indicated. What it did do was make governments take precautionary measures in cooperation with the business community.

2009-H1N1 Pandemic Scare in spring through fall setting stage for Obama Care to pass in December. Over 2 billion dollars worth of vaccines were purchased alone in US with a large number unused as the virus fizzled out. But it was a good exercise.

2010-Study by Rockefeller Foundation on impact of a coronavirus like pandemic on society and governance, . One scenario envisioned is “Lock Step: A world of tighter top-down government control and more authoritarian leadership, with limited innovation and growing citizen pushback.”

2019 November, a climate emergency was declared by the European Parliament. The house was said to be on fire and the European Union would now lead the fight against “the existential threat”.

That was also the time then the Green Deal package was presented by the European Commission. An ambitious plan to implement a circular economy and transform the society with digital technology in order to fulfill United Nations Agenda 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals and reach carbon neutrality to 2050. The digital transformation was seen as a “key enabler for reaching the Green Deal objectives”.

2019-November -The Federal Reserve held a conference titled, Economics of Climate Change. Lael Brainard, Chair of the Fed’s Committee on Financial Stability, says Climate Change Matters for Monetary Policy and Financial Stability.

The common tools needed for Pandemics and Climate Change are Technocratic Authoritarian control over the people using Tech and AI and 5G (being rolled out rapidly in Europe, US and China).

2018-National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence (NSCAI). It was created by the 2018 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and its official purpose is “to consider the methods and means necessary to advance the development of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and associated technologies to comprehensively address the national security and defense needs of the United States.”

The NSCAI is a key part of the government’s response to what is often referred to as the coming “fourth industrial revolution,” which has been described as “a revolution characterized by discontinuous technological development in areas like artificial intelligence (AI), big data, fifth-generation telecommunications networking (5G), nanotechnology and biotechnology, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and quantum computing.”
However, their main focus is ensuring that “the United States … maintain a technological advantage in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other associated technologies related to national security and defense.” The vice-chair of NSCAI, Robert Work – former Deputy Secretary of Defense and senior fellow at the hawkish Center for a New American Security (CNAS), described the commission’s purpose as determining “how the U.S. national security apparatus should approach artificial intelligence, including a focus on how the government can work with industry to compete with China’s ‘civil-military fusion’ concept.”

2019-NSAIC headed by Googles Eric Schmidt recommended” structural” changes for the American economy and society so as to follow China’s lead and surpass them in AI-driven technologies, particularly mass surveillance, self driving cars, fleet ownership of cars replacing personal ownership, cashless society, herding people into high urban density areas, eliminating in-store shopping, etc. They call for a civilian DNA databases a “logical next step and AI based health care to replace doctors

Trump then signed an EO making AI development a national security priority. Trump justifies his plans to defeat the fake enemy in China in the AI race by making us like China structurally. Although the US is the leader in developing AI technology we fail in the adoption phase due to structural factors and privacy rights which must be changed or removed. Recently (may 2020 ) the Republican Senate struck down an amendment to strengthen privacy rights. Privacy is a thing of the past.

2019-At the Bilderbergs meeting under the motto A Stabile Strategic Order and with an agenda obviously connected to AI and monitoring technologies, there were several prominent participants closely connected to Donald Trump: his son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner (business-partner with another participant of the particular meeting – Peter Thiel), the Secretary of State Mike Pompeo (former head of the CIA) and Trump’s close friend, Henry Kissinger, one of the world’s most influential globalists.

Thiel is a recurring attendee at the Bilderberg meetings, was present in 2019 and is a member of the Steering Committee together with Marcus Wallenberg, NSAIC ‘s Eric Schmidt from Google, and Thiel’s colleague from Palantir, Alex Karp.

He wrote in a closely read letter that guides numerous corporations seeking investment from some of BlackRock’s $7 trillions, “Climate change has become a defining factor in companies’ long-term prospects.” Citing recent climate protests, Fink states, “awareness is rapidly changing, and I believe we are on the edge of a fundamental reshaping of finance. The evidence on climate risk is compelling investors to reassess core assumptions about modern finance.”

Declaring that, “climate risk is investment risk,” Fink then says we will make “a profound reassessment of risk and asset values” Fink tells us, “because capital markets pull future risk forward, we will see changes in capital allocation more quickly than we see changes to the climate itself. In the near future – and sooner than most anticipate – there will be a significant reallocation of capital.” And a handful of the world’s largest money groups will steer that reallocation of capital we learn.

Black Rock plans to demand that companies it invests its $7 trillion into show proof that they are green compliant by, “making sustainability integral to portfolio construction and risk management; exiting investments that present a high sustainability-related risk, such as thermal coal producers; launching new investment products that screen fossil fuels; and strengthening our commitment to sustainability and transparency in our investment stewardship activities.” Translated, if you don’t follow the demands of the UN IPCC and related groups including McKinsey & Co., you lose big money.

March 25, 2020-The US Federal Reserve on Tuesday tapped a division of BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, to manage billions of dollars in bond and mortgage-backed security purchases as the US central bank works to cushion the economic and financial fallout from the coronavirus pandemic.

BlackRock’s Financial Markets Advisory unit, the company’s consulting arm, will act as the investment manager for three new facilities: two Fed-backed vehicles that will buy corporate bonds, and a programme that will buy mortgage-backed securities issued by US government agencies.

Yiddish is a German dialect initially learned in imitation of the Baltic Germans. Everyone looked up to the Germans as socially superior. Yiddish can have a lot of Slavic, namely Polish and Russian, up to fifty-fifty depending on the milieu, and five to ten percent Hebrew, with some Turkic. The word to pray, daven, is from Turkish/Arabic dawat, from the old Khazar days. Yiddish is usually written in Assyrian Hebrew Script. The Lithuanian Jews, who consider themselves the upper caste, also naturally consider that their Yiddish is the best, the creme de la creme. Polish Jews are considered common Yids, But German Jews can look down even on Lithuanians, as did Hannah Arendt, while Mizrahi, or Middle Eastern Jews were the lowest of the low. In the twentieth century many Yiddish books were rewritten to take out the Slavicisms and replace them with Germanicisms. The educated German Jews looked down on Yiddish, and looked down on Eastern European Jews in general. Even today you will hear pre-WW II Jews from Germany say that “Russian Jews are the worst.” When the immigration began from the Russian Empire in the 19th century, the German Jews of New York contemptuously called the newcomers “kikes” because of the ky ending on their names, while the kikes tried to call the German Jews “Landsmann.” In Poland and Lithuania Yiddish was an attempt to sound socially better than the peasant Serfs whom the Khazar Jews were brought in to oversee as slave drivers for the Polish and Lithuanian magnates and aristocracy. Their utility was that as an alien people they would have no sympathy for the Slavic human cattle. When they came in 1390 from Crimea they demanded, by treaty with Lithuanian Grand Duke Vytautas, sovereign rights within their shtetls. Among these rights were that accusations of child sacrifice on their part was a matter to be handled privately between them and the ruler and not any other authority.

Lukashenko and Putin coordinated their response. Putin could not be sure that the peace and freedom loving peoples would not use this as a cover to launch a more serious Biowarfare attack against Russia. The Chinese response was also premissed on the same possibility given the sudden appearance during the Wuhan games. Although Covid, the independent experts say, is not natural but was artificially laced with HIV strings in the laboratory, it is still nothing compared to what is being cooked in the labs around the world.
And as Alfred said, what is Sauce for the Deep State Goose is Sauce for the Deep State Gander. A civil defense drill in Biowarfare certainly will have its uses. In addition to masks and quarantine, we should also practice getting under our desks as readiness in case of nuclear attack. For, as I believe Chekhov said, if a gun is brought on stage in act one of a play, it must go off before act three is over.

  133. […] denouncing Sir Isaac Newton as a notorious conspiracy theorist: out of totally disconnected facts (apple fall, water pumping, artillery shelling) he concocted the conspiracy theory of gravitation claiming that bodies are mutually attracted proportionally to their mass. This is obviously false, he would say, as you can observe at any beach; if there should be a formula, it is that of inverse proportionality. Slim girls and boys attract much more than obese body-positives, and mutuality does not come into this equation. Still the gravitation hoax of Newton has been taught in schools.

Sir Isaac Newton should, first and foremost, be denounced as the fraudulent facade put in place to embellish the image of the British Empire against the real brains of Germany (Leibniz, Kepler, et al), France (Bernoulli, et al), et al. Newton — the alleged master of gravity and supposed inventor of the calculus — did not even have a clue on questions related to gravity (and calculus) in a public scientific contest initiated by Gottfried Leibniz and Jean Bernoulli in 1696.

Then, Sir Isaac Newton’s obsessions with black magic, alchemy and the occult should be exposed instead of his said expertise of the real sciences. British economist, John Keynes (another tool of the British Empire), had purchased a metal chest belonging to Isaac Newton in 1936 at an auction- it was full the Sir’s hand written notes on the aforementioned matters (black magic, etc).

And what to makes of Isaac Newton’s lucrative position at the Royal Mint; linked to John Conduitt who promoted the myth of the “apple” story?

That is not to say that Newton was not a brilliant scientist in the early stage of his life. The later stage of his (scientific) life and the myth surrounding him, however, are like for the case of Einstein, made up and based upon the work of others. It’s first and foremost ideological (i.e. propagandist).

The CDC was forced to allow the marketing of test kits under their Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) process . You are completely mistaken. Isaac Newton was a vain and sometimes vindictive man but he remains the greatest physicist of all time. His Principia more ot less launched the modern era in physics. Leibniz is of course a great polymath and was instrumental in introducing the notion of energy in physics.

Yet; Newton did not have a clue on matters (gravity and calculus) he is attributed to have (in part or in full) invented and/or mastered at the public scientific contest of 1696 (almost a decade after Principia).

I too believed (for a long time) the content of your comment (which repeats the mainstream narrative of scientific history) until 1) I became aware of the true motives of the (empirical) “Enlightenment” era — an ideological phase launched by the Venetian intelligence in Northern Europe to crush the real progress of the Renaissance and in the process, destroy competitor states (Germany, France) to what became known as the British Empire and 2) I cross-referenced the work, research and discoveries of the likes of Kepler, Leibniz, Gauss, et al. Newton’s three-volume Principia (assuming its content originated (in part of in full) with him) essentially re-formulates and/or re-proves what was already known and/or proven by others. For the record, Newton actually wrote very little on calculus.

The Venetian Oligarchy had moved north to Europe following their weakening in the War of the League of Cambrai. Their wealth had created the Banks of Amsterdam, of England and other central banks (based on Venice’s Banco di Rialto) and later the British Empire through association with other aristocratic families and colonial enterprises. They (the Venetians) knew that to control Europe, they had to corrupt and divide it. They were behind the Formation and Reformations phases that created the Jesuits, Protestantism, Calvinism, Lutheranism, Anglicanism, etc to keep weaken/destroy the Church and divide Europe. The creation of the myth of Newton and the corruption of science (with the sense-derived empiricism) was achieved through the British Royal Society through a primary Venetian handler, Antonio Conti. Conti was also responsible in creating a pro-British group in France (Voltaire, Rousseau et al. were part of it).

Europe’s 17th/18th century history was written by the victors, namely the (Neo-Venetian) Anglo-Saxon ruling class. Their “Enlightenment” movement and its “thinkers” (Newton, Locke, Smith, Voltaire, Rousseau, et al.) have supplanted all and every one else and thus, real history.

Concerning the first, again, my fault for being sloppy. When I said “some precursor strain infecting … human petri dishes”, I should have said “various” or “multiple” precursor strains instead. It’s not about the gay bathhouse scene as a vector, but as the birthplace of that which is novel about our novel virus.

Yeah, sure, all of that was understood. Problem is, the virus RNA appears to be too heterogenous homology-wise. The theory has to be amended. The hypothesis posits that virus Z (Z for zero) went into the gay bathhouse scene, acquired the polybasic cleavage site from HIV viruses, and emerged as strain A of nCoV. That would mean that Z = (A – the polybasic cleavage site), which would mean that Z has the same homologies. It seems to be the case that these homologies are heterogenous. In other words, there is no clear ancestor to A and, by implication, neither to Z. The spike protein has near 100% homology with the spike protein from a pangolin Corona virus. The other proteins have their closest homologies with proteins from different bat Corona viruses. This evidence points to A or rather, by this theory, Z being a laboratory-made chimera.

The Kremlin’s only agenda is posturing as “strong” against the West. To that end it engages in brinkmanship with the West, even copying its biggest mistakes, as we’ve seen in this pandemic hoax. Meanwhile, they’re obsessing about ever-costlier missile defense systems, their favorite pastime next to going to their dachas and doing banya.

You have to live here to understand the absolute chauvinism that guides their decision-making. It is not unique to the siloviki; it is a characteristic above all of Russian men, and to a lesser extent of all Russians.

What you have to understand about most Russians is that they have literally no knowledge of how things are done elsewhere: for them, how things are done here is how they are done everywhere. One of their favorite questions is: A kak y vas v [Amerike]? – How is it with you in x?

They simply do not know. And to the typical Russian male 45 and over, they don’t care how it is elsewhere; the answer is usually na khui (fuck off) or nu i shto (so what), in any case.

This is precisely how the siloviki themselves think. They are absolutely typical Russian males in advanced years, which means just one thing, in effect – that their chauvinism constitutes the soul of Russian government policy. There’s very little else to it.

You know that friend you meet up with for a drink from time to time, who, when he gets drunk, starts pontificating loudly about absolute bullshit, forcing you to retreat into yourself and count the seconds until you can get away? That’s your average Russian politician. That’s who is running this place.

Putin is smarter than that type, of course, but I have come to think that he suffers from the same swamp effect as Trump, and probably every other president or leader.

The hypothesis posits that virus Z (Z for zero) went into the gay bathhouse scene

Not exactly, which is why I amended my first formulation to use plural words. The theory is that A was created in the gay bathhouse scene, from any number of “inputs” in any order. A “last step” that gives Z = (A – the polybasic cleavage site) isn’t implied.

I’m not a molecular biologist, and I don’t know if that’s impossible. However, I don’t expect it to be impossible.

You might object that we should have seen the necessary intermediate forms of this multi step process. But is that a given? Even the final form we have seen was something of a nothingburger for the kind of young-ish people we expect to populate gay bathhouses. The intermediates may never have escaped and might at best have remnants in the form of antibodies in a few people.

In my book it seems more likely that there was a lab that created Z (A – the polybasic cleavage site). Maybe it was also a lab (in this case probably the same one) that took the last step to create A, or Z escaped into some gay bathhouse where it acquired that what it made it into A.

You brought up good points/questions that I would like to answer properly (which will require some length). If you don’t mind, I’d like to come back to you on this accordingly (running short on time at this moment).

Briefly, the 1696 “Brachistochrone” scientific contest (” from “brachisto-chronos” (shortest-time)) was initiated by Leibniz and Bernoulli to investigate the fundamentals of gravity in regards to the trace of a particle falling under its own weight and taking the least amount of time and that, traveling from a higher to lower point. This was intrinsically linked to the core of calculus. Forget not being able to keep up with the big dogs, Newton’s cycloid answer/solution exposed him for the charlatan he was.

  187. I just asked a Boston Transit police officer at South Station what the rules were. I asked if it was mandatory to wear a mask on the Red-line. I asked because I had just seen a guy get on in Cambridge without a mask.

The Transit cops are the elite of the Boston police and this one was manning the information desk at South Station. The Redline is part of our subway system. Each train has about 5 cars and there are only 4 or 5 people on each car now during rush hour even.

This officer told me they could not refuse someone transportation because they did not have a mask and there was no way an order like that could be enforced. I then asked whether it was maybe something the governor had ordered. The Transit cop told me they had not received any guidance on the issue. That is was suggested you wear a mask and that it would be really rude (and some other words I forget) if you didn’t.

The guy I saw without a mask is the first person I have seen in a month on public transport without one.

My point is that we are not on house arrest and we are not living under these draconian public surveillance regimes that Mr. Shamir describes.

As I write this I notice the bearded conductor on my commuter rail-line train is not wearing a mask. I’m actually surprised. And I also don’t care. I’m not living in fear of infection.

Boston is per capita one of the most infected regions of the world. On Monday we celebrated exactly 10 weeks under this lockdown. And it wasn’t until about 5 or 6 weeks in that face coverings became mandatory in stores.

We hit a peak of recorded infections and deaths mid-April. Last Monday the governor outlined a phased lifting of the lockdown. For over a month virus numbers have been very quickly dropping. If they continue at this rate we will look much like Switzerland or Austria.

As I write this, on this same train, a recorded computer voice comes over the PA announcing that face-covering is required on all MBTA vehicles.

Let’s see if this conductor does anything about it.

The cataclysmic damage to the economy aside, life is actually quite pleasant and much less crowded everywhere I go.

I’m sorry things aren’t so nice in Moscow or Israel.

But be careful with the blanket statements and prophecies of doom.

I will address the appalling inaccuracies of the science and numbers Mr. Shamir presented in this article later. It is bad information.

for those not up to speed, the problem is to have two points A and B, B lower than A but not directly under A. The problem has as solution a function, the shape of the surface that will allow a small ball to travel from A to B in the least possible time. You can see immediately that a flat slope will not do the trick, because the ball will not accelerate well early on. But a very steep slope followed by a very flat piece at the bottom will not do either, because it is a longer path.

This problem led eventually to the Lagrangian formalism which dominates physics to these days.

Also, the basics of calculus are easy and can be explained on one sheet of paper, up through the fundamental theorem of calculus, so that anyone with a technical bent can understand the basics in an hour.

Now it gets interesting …. gravity, law of motion, calculus, and what is explained? Very little. However, then Newton then went from that basis to derive Kepler’s laws and thereby resolve the mystery that had haunted mankind from the beginning. And in the process, modern math and physics were invented. Now … this wasn’t a lucky guess and even today requires pages of advanced mathematics. It is so difficult, even today, that I’ll wager no high school math of physics teacher has any idea of how Newton did it, they do not know, and they do not know that they do not know. It is not covered in typical university physics programs, being glossed over in all the classical mechanics texts I’ve seen (more than 5). and these are upper division texts. Literally, every one. Agreed; sheer and unequaled. You just don’t realize that it keeps coming from you.

I linked to a video where Newton’s original papers are examined, showing exactly how he arrived at his discoveries. And you watched it? With the sound off, and your eyes closed? This is the point, discussing Newton with a hoaxer is like talking to a rock.

I watched the video loud and clear. It does not demonstrate how Newton came up with “his” discoveries. Instead, it goes on explaining a mathematical proposition written by Newton (with a dubious date of 1666 (something the narrator highlights)) on his theory of “fluxions”. Newton’s theories of “fluxions” and “infinite series”, if you know anything about actual science and the history linked to it, sank into the abyss less than a decade after his death. Leibniz’s calculus on the other end has been used since 1710.

I want to add one thing …. Newton’s big discoveries, the law of gravity, F=Gm1m2/R^2, and the laws of motion, the 2nd, F=MA, being the operative one, take what … 15 keystrokes …. they could have been lucky guesses, and were guesses before they were verified. Also, the basics of calculus are easy and can be explained on one sheet of paper, up through the fundamental theorem of calculus, so that anyone with a technical bent can understand the basics in an hour.

The law of gravity and others discoveries attributed to Newton did not originate with him. It has only been forcibly imposed as such for centuries by the British Empire. Anyone who investigates scientific history will come to a different conclusion — that the real brains were from, namely, Germany and France. A description of the law of gravity for instance was discovered by Blaise Pascal a decade before Newton is said to have came up with it. Letters between Pascal and Robert Boyle attest so.

I don’t know if you’re serious or trolling when you write “take what … 15 keystrokes”. How is the number of “keystrokes” a serious argument? Regardless, “lucky guess” you say? Yes, that’s very scientific.

You write: “the basics of calculus are easy and can be explained on one sheet of paper”. How is the ease or difficulty of calculus and/or whether it can be explained on one sheet of paper of any relevance?

Now it gets interesting …. gravity, law of motion, calculus, and what is explained? Very little. However, then Newton then went from that basis to derive Kepler’s laws and thereby resolve the mystery that had haunted mankind from the beginning. And in the process, modern math and physics were invented. Now … this wasn’t a lucky guess and even today requires pages of advanced mathematics. It is so difficult, even today, that I’ll wager no high school math of physics teacher has any idea of how Newton did it, they do not know, and they do not know that they do not know. This, hopefully, will give you some idea of the magnitude of Newton’s achievement. It is unmatched in the history of science.

Interesting indeed. You claim that Newton went from that “basis” (gravity, law of motion, calculus) to derive Kepler’s law — when in reality, Newton only claimed he could derive all of Kepler’s discoveries. Newton wrote about it in “his” first volume of Principia — but when asked how he had come up with the discovery, he could not answer. Technically, he did: apparently, it’s when an apple fell on his head at Woolsthorpe in 1666. Sense-derived, fraudulent, empirical “science” is what Newton excelled at.

Suggesting that it “wasn’t a lucky guess”, that “even today requires pages of advanced mathematics”, that “it’s so difficult” that “no high school math of physics teacher has any idea of how Newton did it’, that “is not covered in typical university physics programs”, and what not are nothing but desperate digressions.

If as you claim to have “seen” more than 5 classical mechanical texts, then you should have had no trouble contradicting my initial statement, and that from your very first reply. Since you have been incapable to do so, you have gone on a series of emotional meltdown, tantrums and now resorted to digressions.

You are a lot like Newton. Like him, you vilify your interlocutor when cornered (Newton vilified Leibniz for exposing his charlatanism). Also like him, you are having a nervous breakdown. I can only picture you, agitated, writing your first comment at 4:08 pm GMT and then frantically turning around in circles scratching your head, wondering what else you could write in the hope to come up with something semi intelligent 45 minutes later.

I never claimed to know math, physics or the sciences. I am also not saying that I do not know them. Either way, the topic in hand deals with scientific history and not the actual science – something I already clarified. To contrast with one example, I am not arguing the variables, equations or math behind the law of gravitation (science) but who is the real and original author for it (scientific history). This is about the imposed and perpetuated myth surrounding Newton.

You on the other hand seem convinced to know the math and physics — when all you have done so far (and your comments are the testimony of it) — is to copy and paste math formulas in a conversation you had with another poster in another article (that is irrelevant to my argument and/or does not contradict it), posted a video that does nothing to contradict my assertion about Newton, made wild unrelated extrapolations about formulas (that it’s only “15 keystrokes” and that “it can be explained on one sheet of paper”), claimed to have “seen” (whatever that means) “more than 5 classical mechanical texts” (but did not provide a single shred of information contradicting my point), etc.

Again like Newton, black magic and occult practices, rather than actual sciences, are more suited for you. I knight you, Sir Saggy.

I have an interest in what you have to say because I can see with my own eyes that *all* of the foundation of special relativity was in place well before the 1905 paper by Einstein. The invariants are called the Poincare’ invariants. The transformation of quantities from one inertial frame to another is the Lorentz transformation. The electromagnetic force is the Lorentz force. So it is not so unthinkable that there was a similar process at work only 200 years prior.

    Precisely.

History repeats because the same clique has ruled Europe for centuries. Those who concocted the myth of Einstein are the spiritual descendants of those who invented the myth of Newton.

Well, they didn’t have lasers to measure distances or laser printers to draw sketches at the time. I use the same requisites when I have some work to do on my house and I am no free mason. The free masons borrowed those requisites for their iconography from real workers, not the other way around. I don’t feel compelled to stop using a set square or a compass or a plumb line just because free masons have appropriated them as symbols.
PS: I notice that an indispensable traditional tool of masonry is conspicuously missing from their set, the spirit level.

Thanks. Ukrainian Christians also say “Russian Jews are the worst,” perhaps with different meaning.

Yeah, you are probably right. I’m sure they are no more masons than the greatest of our greatest astronauts..

  206. Vojkan says:

Well, the portrait of Pythagoras has an overload of symbols used by free masons but I doubt their sect existed in Syracuse, Sicily at the time he lived. On the other hand, Newton’s membership in free masonry is pretty much established as a historical fact.
Regarding the others, bear in mind that the g.a.o.t.u. worshipping bunch pretend to hold a monopoly on reason therefore them trying to co-opt or post-mortem present as theirs every inquiring mind that challenged the rigidity of the church to advance scientific knowledge doesn’t come as unexpected. What Copernicus or Galileo or Kepler did at the time was totally contrary to the Church’s teachings and that was dangerous business. Free masons presented themselves as a discussion circle where intellectual debates could happen. Even Mozart and Beethoven became free masons, though both had doubts later. Flat Earthers were nowhere near as tolerant of dissident thought as the world is of them today.
As of today, it is common knowledge outside the USA that the USA is a masonic creation and that Washington and NYC are masonic cities, just as Paris, France, and that both the American and the French revolution were masonic revolutions. It is impossible for someone who isn’t a free mason to be invested with top government responsibility in either country. So with regards to something bearing as much prestige as Space conquest, US astronauts being free masons, I would have been surprised if they weren’t.

My bad, I mixed Pythagoras and Archimedes. That’s what happens when you post a comment before your morning coffee. However, associating Pythagoras with free masons is even more far-fetched. Archimedes actually built stuff while Pythagoras practiced brain onanism only. Heck, there’s even doubt that the Pythagorean theorem about the sides of a right triangle is actually Pythagoras’. Actually, there’s doubt that most of the discoveries he’s associated with are actually his. I grant you that they seem to revere him but free masons five and a half centuries BC, seriously? In their wishful thoughts maybe.

Let me rephrase that for you …. in light of my Bach analogy ….

I never claimed to be able to hear. I am also not saying that can’t hear. Either way, the topic in hand deals with music history and not the actual music ….

You’re like a deaf music critic.

You must understand, everything you say about the topic of math or science, or the history of math or science, is completely meaningless because you have absolutely no understanding of either.

But I do have an understanding probably superior to any other poster here, and I want to know what he has to say. In the end history is written by someone, and there are many other egregious examples of science history rewriting besides special relativity. The 1690s were a time of changes, specifically central banks were pushed into many European capitals (we are still dealing with that 320 years later). Rewriting history and media control were probably already central to the plan. I see nothing unbelievable in what he says. Are you an Elon Musk fan, perchance? or do you have doubts sometime?

Your analogy was, and still is, a blatant non-sequitur. Bach’s music is real and there is no history contradicting that he is not the real/original author of his work.

You keep on saying that I do not know anything and claiming that you do know everything; but still have not contradict it my initial assertion.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head in referring to the changes Europe underwent in the 1600s and the emergence of central banks. More specifically, the changes began in the 1500s with the Venetian oligarchy moving north (with their wealth, corrupting ideology and system of usury) following their weakening in the War of the League of Cambrai. Venice’s Banco di Rialto not only served as the Bank of Amsterdam (considered to be the first modern central bank), Bank of England and other central banks’ modus operandi but their alliance with Anglo-Saxon (and English) noble families launched several colonial enterprises (Venice, Turkey, Levant, Dutch and British East-India, etc) to finally create the British Empire.

The rewriting of scientific history in the late 1600s, had its roots in the earlier ideological war waged by the same Venetians (namely Francesco Zorzi (Giorgi)) on Nicolas de Cusa’s reason-driven methodology and the scientific progress of the Renaissance. It should be noted that Zorzi’s work served as inspiration for Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry (introduced into England by him). [Among other reasons, the Venetians who fomented religious wars also despised de Cusa for his endeavor at reuniting the Eastern and Western Churches.] The creation of the myth of Newton was a continuation of such ideological war but on Kepler, Leibniz (followers of de Cusa) et al. The Venetians’ end goal was to eradicate Rationalism for Empiricism, twarth progress, and in the process, promote their imperial ideas. I invite you to read the following article:

I read the article. Numerous considerations:

    1) it is true that, given the centripetal acceleration and Kepler’s third law it is elementary to derive the 1/d^2 law for gravity. And it so appears that the formula (by Huygens) had been around since either 1659 or 1673 (Principia are published in 1687). The derivation is so elementary that it can be used even in college classes that use no algebra (like astronomy for non scientists).

    2) I read a good part of the Principia years ago and I must agree with the characterization of the article. There are no radial coordinates, no center of mass, no reduced mass, nothing that properly solves the two-body problem. There is no calculus. It is a bunch of hand waving arguments.

At this point I have to question the official narrative. For example if I go to the Mathematica site it says that Newton was given the brachistochrone one day in 1696 and solved it the next day…

Thank you for your feedback. I would add the following trivia:

    1) Aside from not discovering the law of gravity, the reduction of Kepler’s solar dynamics to a mathematical equation was not Newton’s idea. It was proposed to him by Edmund Halley.

    2) The Brachistochrone context was the last nail in the coffin – it exposed, once and for all, the charlatant Newton was. The “Newton-Leibniz controversy” (the who invented the calculus) was a reactionary propaganda to deter Leibniz and cover up the Newton fraud. It was then that the myth of Newton was accelerated and spread by the French-British “Englightment” circles. It is safe to say that they succeeded in perpetuating the lie.

The reason why there are no fluxions and fluents – Newton’s version of the calculus in the Principia – is that the standard of truth in his era was by geometrical demonstrations . It doesn’t detract from his genius, in fact the opposite that he was able to give his conclusions based on geometry instead of the calculus. The calculus was held in suspicion for good reason, in that the limiting process that all of us who studied calculus struggled to understand – how for example, one can ignore (dx)^2 , but not dx, or how dy/dx as dx tends to zero, gives a stable value instead of exploding to infinity was held in suspicion until as Planks explained in another context – that new theories triumph not by their intrinsic truth, but that the adherents of the old theories died off – the newer generation had no problem handling the calculus with all its contradictions.

I don’t claim to have read the Principia, but no less a scientist than S Chandrasekhar struggled for nine years to bring out

which in his (Chandrasekhar’s) view confirmed that Newton was a towering genius.

    Hiram,

You are right that Newton did not give proper (or any credit at all) to others such as Robert Hooke for the inverse-square law of gravitation, but the derivation where he combined the the inverse-square law of gravitation and his own three laws of motion, to derive Kepler’s laws of planetary motion was the groundbreaking event that launched the heliocentric theory onto a life of its own. For till then, yes they had kinematic theories that could follow the geometry of the motion, but no explanation of the dynamics – what had actually kept the planets in elliptical orbits.

About the brachistochrone, the story has it that Bernoulli posed the question to taunt Newton, who was already an old man by then, Newton came up with the correct solution using once again his famed geometrical insight. Bernoulli by legend said : “I recognise the lion by his paws…” . It was however Bernoulli’s method that led to Euler-Lagrange method of the calculus of variations.

Newton was undoubtedly not an attractive character, especially when contrasted with the genial Liebnitz. The story has it that Liebnitz’s day job was to labour to prove that the House of Hanover had a claim on the English throne, yet when the ungrateful George Louis ascended the throne (on strength of the genealogy produced by Liebnitz) , he did not take Liebnitz with him to London. I would speculate that the irascible Newton who was by then a heavyweight in England had something to do with it. (On the other hand Liebnitz did not do any favour to the English by foisting George I on the them.)
