The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards — colonialism. We often hear that problems of immigration, drug-smuggling, and terrorism can’t be solved unless we can tackle the “root causes” in non-white nations. That assumes they can’t solve those causes themselves. Foreign aid has largely failed. Don’t “root cause” solutions imply colonialism?

Mexico will always be a vital interest to the United States. Any attempt to control immigration from Latin America, including Mexico itself, requires Mexican cooperation. American power is built on dominion over North America ever since the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. Mexican nationalists sometimes muse about reversing the judgment of history through mass immigration or Reconquista.

Mexican criminals have preyed on Americans for a long time. In 1916, Pancho Villa murdered 18 Americans in Chihuahua. General “Black Jack” Pershing led a force 350 miles into Mexico in retaliation just before World War I, but never found Villa — who is celebrated by Mexican-American soccer fans today.

Therefore, it’s not new when Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) thunders about wanting to “unleash the fury and might of the U.S.” against groups in Mexico, this time drug cartels. The catalyst was the kidnapping of four American citizens, two of whom were killed. Cartel gunmen evidently mistook them for Haitian drug smugglers. The Gulf Cartel and the “Scorpion Group” have already apologized and even turned in the killers, stressing that they “at all times acted under their own determination and indiscipline and against the rules in which the [Gulf Cartel] always operates.” The Americans were black. That may explain why American outrage was so much stronger than when 70 Mormon missionaries were held hostage in 2021, albeit with none killed.

The alleged killers.
The alleged killers.

The incident comes as major media are turning against Mexican president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. Former president Donald Trump has praised President Obrador (often called AMLO) but that does not fully explain the opposition. President Obrador has been an opponent of NATO’s policy in Ukraine, which he called “immoral.” That won’t win support from Senator Graham, who now has many voices on his side.

Vox, perhaps the most representative outlet of left-liberal opinion, said that Mexico is suffering from an “eroding democracy.” President Obrador wants to cut funding to the National Electoral Institute (INE), the body that regulates Mexico’s elections. Some believe this could undermine “civil society groups,” or NGOs — the Potomac Regime’s preferred tool for meddling in foreign countries. Vox implicitly compared President Obrador’s views on elections to Donald Trump’s because AMLO continues to say the 2006 election was stolen from him.

Vox could almost be writing about Donald Trump:

But that populist, revolutionary framework has clashed with Mexico’s institutions, press, opposition parties, and foreign obligations, like the free trade agreements Mexico signed with the United States and Canada. In the face of his fourth transformation, democratic norms have tended to get in the way, and AMLO has spent countless hours attacking journalists and columnists, non-governmental organizations, civil rights groups, and independent agencies . . . .

Mexican election reform doesn’t seem like a core American interest, but American politicians are unified on the issue. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) both attacked AMLO’s proposed reform:

By approving President López Obrador’s proposal to slash the National Electoral Institute’s funding and oversight capabilities, the Mexican Congress has imperiled the future of its country’s democratic institutions.

Several Republicans are urging military action within Mexico in response to drug cartels. Most of those taking the lead on this issue are notably weak on border security. Senator Lindsey Graham is notorious for his repeated support for various amnesty schemes for illegal immigrants.

In January 2023, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) went a step further. He introduced an “Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF)” in Mexico to stop drug cartels that bring fentanyl into the United States. “My legislation will put us at war with the cartels by authorizing the use of military force against the cartels.” This is the same congressman who helped the lead the charge to denounce Rep. Steve King and who feuded with America First college students in 2019. Now he wants military action in Mexico.

Members of the Sinaloa cartel.
Members of the Sinaloa cartel.

Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) is also talking tough, despite a flaccid record. Last year he was trying to push through an amnesty deal with Democrats. His bill to make “Juneteenth” a holiday is probably the most consequential thing he ever did. Now he’s telling the Biden Administration it “has an open-borders policy in essence, welcoming people from all around the world into the United States only to be released and never heard from again, successfully making it here without any consequences.” He rails against an “open-borders policy that continues to enrich the cartels.” Tough talk from a man who has never done much to secure the border.

Still, the senator is right about the money. According to the New York Times, cartels make an estimated $13 billion a year from migrant smuggling, up from just $500 million in 2018. And this is pocket change compared to drug money.

Amazingly, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is also suddenly militant on border security. “You cannot tell us this border is secure when now there’s enough fentanyl in this country to kill every single American more than 20 times over,” he said. “This has all got to change.” Speaker McCarthy has a weak record on immigration, and says the Republicans are not the party of “nativist dog whistles.” Is he going to stop illegals? No.

Mr. McCarthy and other Republicans have no moral conviction on immigration control, which is about about exclusion. It says certain people are allowed in and others aren’t; it puts citizens above noncitizens. Even though modern-day America is anti-white, this country was founded by de facto white nationalists and what greatness it may still have is mostly what racially consciousness whites handed down to us.

Non-whites understand this. That’s why they hate the American past and work to abolish any legal residue that persists, such as restrictive immigration laws. They rightly suspect that images and heroes of the old America are implicitly “racist.” Republicans, especially when they are committed to cheap labor, find it hard to defend the American past except through the historical fantasy of claiming the Founders’ real goal was post-racial equality.

Oddly, calling for military intervention in foreign countries is more politically correct than refusing to let foreigners in. War as a crusade is now an American tradition. We kill people to save democracy; end war; or to stop fascism, Communism, authoritarianism, or the latest incarnation of Hitler. We do not fight wars in the national interest. That would require a distinction between “us” and “them,” which is now forbidden.

This militarism is cowardice. Cartels are powerful because the United States does not have the will to defend its border or stop drug dealers in the United states. Even if you think the drug war is unwinnable, the government has more power to stop drug-taking within its borders than to stop drug production in a foreign land. Fentanyl is notoriously easy to produce.

$4.3 million in fentanyl seized by border patrol agents in Arizona.
$4.3 million in fentanyl seized by border patrol agents in Arizona.

The United States of America — it’s a superpower, we are told — lacks the will to defend its border, which makes it weaker than even the smallest sovereign state. President Obrador knows this; he laughed at Republican threats and issued his own:

Starting today we are going to start an information campaign for Mexicans who live and work in the United States and for all Hispanics to inform them of what we are doing in Mexico and how this initiative by the Republicans, in addition to being irresponsible, is an offense against the people of Mexico, a lack of respect for our independence, our sovereignty.

And if they do not change their attitude and think that they are going to use Mexico for their propaganda, electoral, and political purposes, we are going to call for them not to vote for that party, because it is interventionist, inhumane, hypocritical, and corrupt.

Since 2016, American media have been hysterical about so-called Russian meddling and disinformation. Here we have an open threat from a head of state. President Obrador also takes for granted that Mexicans and Hispanics will pay more attention to Mexico and be more eager to defend Mexico’s independence than America’s. There is no outrage. America, having imported a foreign helot population, does not have the power to prevent this. To denounce it is to admit that the United States has been wrong since 1965, when it dismantled the policy to keep America overwhelmingly white.

The more Hispanics we have, the harder it gets to defend the border, fight gangs, or stop drug smuggling. The Border Patrol is mostly Hispanic and there are many cases of corrupt Hispanic officers, some of whom help the coyotes.

Dual loyalty? State-media outlet NPR gave glowing treatment to The Line Becomes A River, a story about a Hispanic in the Border Patrol.

The Guardian wrote:

A third-generation Mexican-American, Cantú joined the US border patrol in 2008, aged 23. Having grown up in Arizona and studied international relations in Washington, he wanted to see the application of theory at ground level: “I’m tired of reading about the border in books,” he tells his mother. The daughter of a Mexican immigrant herself, she is his intermittent confidante and the book’s moral lodestar, troubled by the perils of her son’s job and by his involvement in what she sees as a racist institution. But he assures her that “stepping into a system doesn’t mean that the system becomes you.” The years that follow test that assertion.

A “third-generation Mexican-American” is still torn about his loyalties.

The reason the United States cannot stop fentanyl or migrants coming through Mexico is because it is no longer a real nation. A real nation is a people with common kinship, heritage, and heroes.

America is simply a battleground for real nations to fight over whatever scraps can be torn from the carcass of the nation that died. Republican chest-thumping about military action conceals this weakness. Mexico may be a failed state, but in a century it will still have its present form, culture, and identity. Who can confidently make that claim about the United States?

America has never been anything but an organized lawlessness that can never be reformed or, as Carlyle put it, a “grab-game alley.” That includes the whole New World, by the way. Worship of the ballot box is the essential issue (see G.W.F. Hegel, ‘Philosophy of Right, 1821, in Nisbet’s 1991 translation).

The Mexican foreign policy corrolary. Mexico ever since the richness obtained from DRUGS/NAFTA surplus trade, has been meddling on other nations Internal Affairs. The Mexican govt, pretends to fill the void left by USA capitalists in Central/South America economically and POLITICALLY. The Mexican plutocrats have been buying small/local trademarks, companies, from Concrete/Cement, foods, liquors/spirits, including process agroindustrial products and mainly Media companies in the area of TV/Radio/Digital outlets. The Mexican Telecommunications giant CLARO inc. dominates more than 60% of the Central/South American Media/digital/Mobile markets. Another Mexican media companies such as Televisa, Azteca TV already left behind formal alliances and they are directly buying into local markets. Cementos de Mexico, Bimbo, Cinepolis, Jumex, and Maseca had displaced local brands and progressively push domestic producers out of the competition with massive drug financing. The dark side of Mexican influence has become ever more evident in proven nexus among Drug Cartels laundering schemes and their financing of expanding Mexican NARCO/corporations abroad. In the Recent political crisis en Bolivia/Peru/Brazil/Ecuador Mexicos played a decisive role in supporting LEFT corrupt govt officials linked to the Drug Cartels. In Peru local Army intelligence report Mexican Embassy officials arrested among political agitators/dissedent providing logistical/financial/operative participation and support. It seems that Mexicos NARCO/Corporate/Plutocrats are no longer subsirvient to USA commands..and they are relentlessly encroaching into other nations affairs. When the Trump/Biden admistrations protested Mexicos depredatory NARCO/capitalists policies the Mexican govt. inmediately open the USA/Border and flooded the area with illegal mighrants mass caravans and triple drugs influx into the USA.

“There are a lot of videos on youtube where Russians living in Mexico say that no one wants to have anything to do with them because they are considered cheats and hustlers.”

Mexicans certainly like to label others with their own faults and bad intentions. What’s most interesting is how they seem to understand their own bad character but aren’t willing to accept the blame or change their evil ways either.

I wonder why these Russians would stay in Mexico and be insulted instead of going to someplace like Brazil.

Jews own the media and entertainment industry and it is they who primarily feed non-whites with a steady diet of anti-white hatred and contempt and revulsion for white historical symbols. Without Jews many non-whites might still oppose white monument and aspects of white history but would be too disorganized to do anything to do much about it.

Again it’s Jews who have organized non-whites into a bloc opposing whites and white identity.

Mexico may be a failed state, but in a century it will still have its present form, culture, and identity.

Mexico only allows about 5000 legal immigrants into their nation annually. Mexicans have many faults but racial self hate and racial masochism isn’t one of them, so they will still have Mexico. At best the remaining whites in America will be clinging to a rump state of what was once America.

It’s a shame Mexico doesn’t have honest elections like in blue states.

More mail in ballots, election day voter registration, eliminate voter id requirements, legalize ballot harvesting and spend three weeks counting votes after election day. That should do the trick. Then Mexico will have the fairest, greatest most honest elections ever!

You got the good ones, relatively speaking, in Mezcal; here in Tejas, we got the greasy little wetbacks, ones without money to spend (except on Negra Modelo and Cheby trucks).

The ones I hired last summer to put on my new roof only spoke Spanish, the foreman speaking a bit of Yenglish, and since I speak Spanglish OK, we communicated well enough.

Say what you will about Mexicans, but they work like madmen and get the job done quickly. Quality is another thing entirely, however.

They did a fantastic job on my roof, but I have had to pick up a few nails here and there after it rained. Nothing major though, like shingles coming down too. Knock wood.

I also treated them very well, bought them pizza and oranges and water, plus a 30-pack of Silver Bullets. These guys were up there in 100-plus degree heat; I appreciate that in anyone; I did it in my youth. It builds character, plus the pay is good, considering the labor involved.

Having said all that, Tejas also has its share of blacks, most of them crawling out of the swamps and into the cities. And I can almost guarantee you that — not that I looked for such a thing, honestly, knowing the waste of time it would be — there ain’t no black roofing companies. For obvious reasons.

Mexicans are proud of their heritage, just like most Whites, and their religion as well is very important to them. They have big families and get-togethers like Quinceaneras and stuff. They tend to be well-grounded, though many of them seem to have mental problems (like Whites again I suppose).

The point is, I too would much rather have people like this around me than thuggish animals without families or values or cultures; but that is the whole point of why our government wants to replace that. People who have nothing in common can be easily turned against each other, while the ones causing the turning sit back and watch from a safe distance (and then go loot the bodies).

Mexico is only important to the US because our corrupt leaders need them to just keep quiet. Any investigations of Mexico’s drug cartels only point straight back at the ones pointing the fingers; who else has the money to bring drugs to the US, drugs paid for in US dollars?

Honestly, the Mexicans have been in Tejas a lot longer than the savages, and between the two if Mexicans want to take Tejas back they are more than welcome.

If anybody’s going to replace me, just don’t let it be the blacks.

  14. Dumbo says:

Nah. What is present day massive immigration if not exactly colonialism? The only difference is that it does not happen in “their” countries, but it happens in “ours”. So you have the US and Europe bringing in lots of browns and putting them to work for low wages, this way suppressing also the wages of the white natives. But the colonial masters remain untouchable at the top. Of course, like all examples of colonialism in history, eventually it will fail and end in tears.

  17. TG says:

An interesting and intelligent post. Some comments.

    1. The core of modern Mexico is that it is yet another example of what happens when the ruling class force population growth upwards. In 1940 the Mexican population was 20 million. The rich started a population explosion “To Make Mexico Bigger and Better” and – not counting the tens of millions that feeds to the US – the population has been increased to 120 million. As with basically every country that doesn’t have an open frontier, this massive increase caused tremendous poverty for the average person, but the combination of low wages and large bulk economic growth created a record number of billionaires.

Always we are told “the more the merrier”. Always we are lied to. Syria, Brazil, Turkey, Iran, Japan before WWII, China under Mao, Sweden, The Ivory Coast, South Africa… when the rich use either pro-natalist propaganda or mass immigration to rapidly intrease the population, it always crushes the working class and boosts the lites.

    2. And now the United States. I expect that the ruling class of Mexico is in synch with the US and is allowing the use of Mexican territory as an invasion corridor for a third-world exodus. Because even Mexican immigration is not enough to crush US wages sufficient to satisfy our oligarchs, now we are inviting in the surplus population of the entire third world. It is PLAUSIBLE that the population of the United States could be doubled to 700 million in just 20 years. And most of us won’t enjoy it.

Sounds like he’s working with (or for) The DNC to crush Republicans. But that’s not quite what’s going on, which we’ll get to in a moment.

Republican chest-thumping about military action conceals this weakness.

The real weakness is that Supremacy Inc. can not function without a Scapegoat.

Which, of course, is Whites. But now that they have Whites right where they want them, under the iron paw of Supremacy Inc., they are reduced to scapegoating what’s left of their Controlled Opposition.

We’re living in an age where David has become Goliath while still pretending he’s David.

And that has never happened before. Never before in human history have the weak ever become the powerful, while still pretending their weak, as they conceal their power behind their scapegoats. The fact is, no matter how powerful they become, they really are weak. The result is a devastating incoherence. Sick, Crazy, and Stupid.

Add to that a decreasing White demographic in a system where Whites are the only group that votes GOP. Add to that, Leftist Jews providing about 50% of Democrat political funding. “The rich started a population explosion ‘To Make Mexico Bigger and Better’…..”

When did this happen? Did it begin in the 60’s, 70’s, or earlier? From 20 million to 120 million (but probably closer to 160 million when you factor in immigration to the States) – an 8x increase in population.

“…..this massive increase caused tremendous poverty for the average person, but the combination of low wages and large bulk economic growth created a record number of billionaires.”

Poverty is a given under these circumstances, which the rich don’t care about. But the last part of your sentence is what intrigues me and what I often think about. They tell citizens that the country needs more immigrants for a myriad of reasons (to fund pensions, to create more jobs), but isn’t it really to create more billionaires? Isn’t that the real reason it’s being done?

There’s a lot of cheap money sloshing around, courtesy of central banks and government printing, and this money is always looking to multiply. The holders of this money see an empty piece of land and want to fill it up with high-rises, malls, 7-Elevens (or whatever), but they need a large volume of people in order to pull this off. Politicians comply with this big money.

The rich don’t care about “country”, and the new wealthy immigrants (from China or India) absolutely don’t care about “country”. The citizens, whose manufacturing jobs were shipped overseas, are just expected to suck it up and make way for the influx. “There’s money to be made here, so just shut up!”

Making the existing-billionaires richer or creating new billionaires is the real reason behind the push for an increased population.

    1. Look poor
    2. Fit in
3 Keep your eyes and mouth shut
    4. Be respectful to everyone
    5. Mind your business and dont ask questions

These guidelines apply to the ranchos up behind Caracas Venezuela, the barrios of Colombia and the favelas of Rio. I wandered about all these in the ’70s to calm the bad dreams.

You can get yourself killed in Washinton DC , the richest capital in the richest country, for practically no reason at all. What exactly makes Mexico so perilous ? The US Government is always issuing travel warnings about other countries. Has it ever issued one about say Chicag0 ? Baltimore ?

Drugs are a BUSINESS ! Wait, you believe in fairy tales and happy endings no ? Let me educate you. 85 %of the drug profits remain in the USA and this money washes like a reverse waterfall from the street to powerful people in business and the government. A man with a million wants 10M and when he gets there he wants 100M . People who attain these levels of money and power, no matter who they are, will do whatever to maintain the status quo. This happens because the American public like their dope and wherever there is a demand there will always be someone to fill it. You could wipe out every member of every cartel in the world and minutes later they would all be replaced.

The people dining on the eggs of the Golden Goose are not going to kill the bird no matter what crap they spout on the MSM. Morals and human suffering (disease LOL) have nothing to do with it. There is no emotion in a dollar bill !

Bigg Farma and the medical profession, alcohol and tobacco kill more people than illegal narcotics. These operate with their lobbists in full view. The narcotics trade operates with “lobbists in the shadows. Both groups own the powers that be lock, stock and cock and its their ass if they dont do as they are told.

As for graveyards in Mexico, there is not a single hamlet in the Nam without a memorial to indiscriminate slaughter of Vietnamese non-combatants. The cartels may have wiped out 120,000 but we, the masters of massacre did millions in SE Asia.

When men fight for power, righteously or not, the Grim Reaper is in his element, always looking for more victims. That is how it has always been since the dawn of history when caveman realized his could split your head open for whatever reason and take what you have.

Also, dont blame the US Government. We elect them over and over again. No only that but we are far from the Guiness record of human destruction. Stalin and Mao did away with 60+ millions of their own. Dont flagellate the Mexican President either. Lunchbox Joe is just as crooked. Corruption in Mexico is out in the open but in the US it is even more dangerous because it is hidden. People think they are living in a God fearing country but there is no difference among men who lust after power. Innocence is absent even in children’s fairy tale books.

We are all diseased but the rot is more devastating to someone like you who is deluded. We are headed for another conflagration and this time the US will not escape unscathed. I will survive. You and yours will perish because you wish the world and men, regardless of who they are or from where they come. to be other than what they are. Humans are the top predator on this planet and we did not attain this exalted position because we believe in tooth fairies and happy endings. Humans, but there is a thin invisible line between that illusion and the animal kingdom.

That is the reality. Everything else is hypocrisy, double speak, self delusion and bullshit.

No. A hard no. Minefields on the U.S. side of the border would do the job. Women and children would be killed, I don’t care, not my problem. As for the cartels, how many nuclear weapons do they have? None? Oh, that’s a shame. We should give them some. Right there in this paragraph, I’ve made the entire rest of the article irrelevant.

Will there be an armed civil war within the next 10 years? Sooner?

A year ago my opinion would have been probably not. But now I am not so sure. There is a lot of frustration and rage as the general public feel helpless with the slippery politicians and their double standards.

I live in a very nice area. However 4 miles away to the west tents are beginning to appear at the side of a main road. Behind me is 2 miles of open country cut at the far end by a wooded ravine, more open fields and then another executive area. The ravine is slowly filling with the homeless some with young children. They bathe in the creek that runs through the ravine. The Police are unable to cope. They move them out and they return. A second visit by the Police results in extreme rage by the tent dwellers. The authorities just cannot cope and have abandoned efforts to do so. As a result, the squatters increase.

These are not bad people just folks struggling to survive as a result of unexpected setbacks. On weekends I stop by with a box of food, sometimes warm clothing and a blanket or two. My first visit was greeted with extreme hostility as they felt I was some sort of Municipal official. Other families in the area are now also helping out because as I pointed out failure to assist will result in break-ins and worse. Several months ago I installed heavy duty security that cost me an arm and a leg, never had anything like that for 23 years.

My place just sold, I liquidated everything and I am leaving the country middle of April. I am writing on an old table and chair that will go in the trash in anther few weeks. I am looking at just a haversack of worldly possessions in the living room. One can feel the tension and I believe, from past experience, some irrelevant event will jump things off.

Hunger is raging in this country. Those with a little money to buy food buy the cheapest resulting in malnutrition and illness further compounding their misery and hopelessness. If this continues to the point of starvation this country will explode. In other countries the population rocks and rolls at the slightest provocation. The citizens here in the US have been taking and taking and taking. Like a locomotive, pent up steam not released by the safety valve, will split the train apart.

One other variable that is worrisome is the flood of immigrants, mostly young men, from destitute countries, accustomed to violence and with nothing to lose, who are seeking the pot of gold at the end of an American rainbow that has long vanished. Who is going to tell them the freebies must end ?

So yes, I think things will get eventful and if so I prefer to read about it somewhere else ! May the good God help America.

You are wrong that Spain “left her territories in North America to Mexico”. The treacherous Mexicans fought a devious, bloody war against their King and stole the land. The area the US took from the Mexicans was mostly empty territory controlled by savage Indian tribes. Texas was a different story, the Anglos who were the major part of the revolt were actually invited in by the Mexican authorities. My understanding is that in the treaty signed by the Mexican thieves and the Anglo pirates at Guadulupe Hidalgo in 1848 gave the Americans the land and the Mexican leaders $15 million. It’s true that the Americans could be charged with receiving stolen property, since the Mexicans stole the land, but there was compensation, so the Mexicans have no argument. The Spanish, however, could still make a legal claim.

The first Mexican-American war forestalled a civil war for a generation, hence this article/thread. I’ve only ever been to California once, and never SoCal – the bad stuff I saw was in San Fran. I guess Cali is a pretty big place. The coastal towns on the coast north of SF were indeed very charming. While the groups you mention do indeed cause trouble I believe in the long run none are less compatible with the founding principles of the United States than the Hindu. The constitution was written for a country that was already diverse to some extent (much less than now of course) but without any real firsthand knowledge of the Hindu. But yeah it’s hard to see the Yankee republic can last more than a generation or so, and it’s likely the middle classes (largely wrong-whites but with significant minority participation will renew the political system that has so obviously turned against them.

mexico is the only country whose immigrants to America can’t assimilate even after several generations, because Mexico is America’s competing ideal on the same territory.
in an absolut world the USA could invite the World over to become Americans except for Mexicans. because Mexicans are part Indian and therefore have a less tenuous connection to the land than “ideas of freedom” afforded by the Providence of Historical circumstance. Blood is thicker than ink.
Mexico City once was the Largest City in the continent and so it is today. Mexican gold and silver once formed the core of the richest empire of the west, Spain, and today again the richest billionaire is a Mexican of direct Old World descent.

Texas began as a Mexican frontier province.
Argentina as a frontier of Peru. In the 1860-1880 it underwent complete population replacement. italian was the most spoken language in Buenos Aires. Italians physically built a new country intending it to make it as French as possible and conserving only the Spanish language, albeit with an unrecognizable accent and tone.

by the 1950s the country had been majority non hispanic white for two generations (if you don’t count Spaniards refugees from the Civil War as Hispanic, which means criollo and mestizo) and was developing its own culture as almost a viable alternative to the United States (!) and certainly as a better place for New World Europeans than even Canada, Australia, or obviously Brazil for the realisation of the “American Dream”. At this time Argentina produced inventors writers nobel prices. many (most?) of these didn’t have Spaniard blood either, they were Argentines as an accident of history as JL Borges put it.

At this time the Populist government of mostly white Peron and his mostly white supporters, began urbanizing the pre existing mestizo and criollo population, putting them around the capital city to use as loyal voters.
alternatively it could be said that mechanization of the fields would drive them to the city in any case.
The 30 years of lukewarm civil war that followed 1955-1984 saw the country change from wealthy to relatively poor, or from 1st world to “2nd world” (like Yugoslavia), and from mostly white to white and brown.
the 30 years of Peronist Democracy that followed the Civil War saw the country change from somewhat poor to decidedly broke. walking a statistically average neighborhood of Buenos Aires you d say Argentina is a brown country, no different from the rest of Latin America.

whites had been poor in the past in Argentina but always at least imagining something better, many left for the first world.
the last 30 years saw the creation of a new caste of Argentines: artisanal garbage “recyclers” (the pride and joy of Buenos Aires environmental qualifications): that is people, often entire families, opening bags of trash in the street, every single day everywhere, looking for cardboard and for plastic to sell to recyclers
they do the work by hand right on the fanciest streets of Buenos Aires, then carry the recyclables on hand pulled carts resembling rickshaws for trash.
they are not only tolerated but regulated and celebrated by a government that has iverviewed the controlled impoverishment of Argentina consistently since 2001. they are ignored but tolerated by the rest of the population who consider them untouchables, but have lost all power to either employ them in something better, or forbid them from turning the streets of Buenos Aires into Calcutta every single evening.

Uruguay on the other hand is thriving. Uruguay is composed 90% of the descendants of europeans that arrived after 1880 to realise the American Dream. the indians had been well assimilated to the criollos before that and the country doesnt have any rural provinces where indian blood remained a majority.

Venezuelans who migrate to Uruguay like to call it the Small American Dream.

Argentina is the reverse of Texas. It is a part of Mexico that became white for a century only to revert back to the … slightly more rightful owners of the land, so to speak.

if Buenos Aires and the Pampas, maybe even Patagonia had separated into a distinct country it would today be as prosperous and safe a place as Uruguay. but europeans in argentina tried to chew more than they could swallow, and the country gradually reverted back to Mexico (or technically to Peru).

The Sun of May that shines on the Argentine flag is after all the face of the Inca

Americans should’t feel too alarmed by the story of Argentina. it was a Hispanic ruling class that invited the Europeans to replace their mestizo servants, but non Spaniard Europeans never actually took full control of Argentina, it just seemed that way for a few generations.

America still has an Episcopalian self censoring self effacing Ruling Class, (like Tucker Carlson), that apparently is taking a note from the self destruction of England, but like in England, they are probably not about to lose the reins entirely.

Much of christianity is irrational unnecessary and often counterproductive nonsense (like the other religions). You shouldn’t assume that even a majority of white Americans want to spread all the christian “doctrines” and beliefs.

Also, in practical terms, you can’t even eject the 150-200 million mestizo Latinos and nonwhites in the usa. Yes, they probably already constitute half of our 400 million people.

not true, the majority of the World wants to move to America, which is the opposite of wanting to destroy it (even if it unintentionally causes it, which I can’t say).

the ones who say they want America destroyed are often those who are doing well enough in their countries to not need to emigrate, but not well enough to take vacations or buy second homes in America.

America will not be destroyed. it might change at a faster pace than other countries in the same way that a strip mall might renovate more frequently than a family home. this is part of the key to its economic success.

for a population dealing with mass (internal.or.external) immigration is akin to dealing with inflation: there’s nothing that can be done and nobody to attack.

Something about the New World you may be unaware of:

Joseph Smith believed the Protestant Church was the whore of Babylon.

“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:”

    – Revelation 17:1, the Bible, KJV

“And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.”

I had always been attracted to the Mormon church. they came close to founding a continental civilization. Brigham Young founded hundreds of succesful towns, a feat of Urbanism. Their temples arw beautiful and ‘modern’ at the same time which is a heroic, implausible, achievement.
and back to the topic at hand, Mormons are the only ((indigenous)) American group that can succesfully cross borders, to Canada, to Mexico, and fully retain their identity and economic system.
perhaps in a 100 years Mormons (and amish perhaps) will be a much more central feature of America or even the Americas than they are today.

Say what you will about Mexicans, but they work like madmen and get the job done quickly. Quality is another thing entirely, however.

Apropos of Mexican construction workers, a story locally reported here concerned a couple who moved into a recently completed house in a new development. The house looked nice, but over time they noticed a stench of sewage in the basement, suggesting that something was not quite right with the drains. Plumbers were hired to find the problem, but they turned up nothing.

Finally it transpired that the contractor that did most of the interior carpentry had failed to furnish his workers with a porta-potty. They simply used one of the corners of the basement as their latrine, and before leaving, covered it up with sheetrock.

Needless to say both the contractor and all of his crew were Mexicans, and were nowhere to be found when the source of the malodorous effluvia was discovered.

I have woods around my house, so they could go find a tree when the lorelei called. I still say they were on their best behavior, though, because I treated them well; which is why I did it.

I used to live in apartments years ago, and there were a fair amount of Mexicans living there even back then (which is why I’m so jaded about it now). These dirty bastards — and this is what’s so remarkable about it: more than one did it — used to stand underneath the stairwells and spit into the corners. Like, to the point the corners all had black mold growing on them (who knows what they have in their mouths; dentistry is not a Mexican thing either).

And just think, these are the ones who are dancing across our border daily.
