I am not a medical doctor and certainly not a virologist, I am, however, scientifically inclined. I wonder whether it is possible that Israel was hit with the Corona menace at the same time China was, or maybe even before? Is it possible that Corona didn’t start in China, it was just diagnosed there? Apparently, more people have started to believe that this may be the case.

There are a few aspects peculiar to Israel and its Corona hysteria. As of this writing, no one in Israel has died because of the virus. To date, only six Israelis are in critical condition. It is possible that the Israeli health system is more advanced than all the other nations, it is also possible that Israeli doctors are more gifted than all other doctors. It may even be possible that Jews are somewhat resistant to Corona. But it is more likely that Israel has been living with Corona much longer than they are willing to admit. It is likely that, like China, they have already survived the worst of the Corona virus.

I predict your next article will be full blown blame that the Corona virus started in an Israeli lab as a bio weapon, and they have already been vaccinated which is why no Israelis have died.

On what basis was it attributed to the Swine Flu? At that time (December and early January) the situation was likely not yet fully understood in China either.

Taking a diagnostic test for coronavirus was not possible until after its announced availability on January 16. In the meantime, those who survived will no longer test positive for the virus, and a test for antibodies is not yet available. Those few who died could have been tested posthumously, in which case it would be interesting to find out what the results were, so instead of speculating it would be better to seek out a reliable answer.

FYI, I believe there was an American-Canadian company that also claimed to have a vaccine very early.

I think it is fascinating that Israel had this swine flu epidemic which had a death rate far above the actual swine flu. The same could probably be said about many other countries. It would be interesting if this virus came from somewhere random, but if Wuhan simply was the place it was properly identified and quarantined. There definitely ought to be more research, as it is too interesting to leave alone.

Two problems with that theory:

1) I’m assuming that most countries have a system where random extra testing is done routinely on a small percentage of medical cases just in case and even more regularly on deceased patients.

2) COVID-19 is supposed to be much more aggressive which quickly leads to a shortage of respirators/ventilators. Once that happens, mortality rate explodes since patients can’t be treated and that’s difficult to ignore.

It is possible (IMO) that the patient zero wasn’t Chinese but it’s extremely unlikely that the virus was infecting millions of people around the world unnoticed.

I think the idea is that maybe not everyone with pneumonia symptoms gets a flu test, or maybe that swine flu is assumed when people with flu symptoms test negative for ordinary flus. Another commenter said coronavirus tests did not exist at the time.

I actually do not know if this is true, I am an ordinary guy. But I’d love to see more information on this. In the USA now, people who test negative for flu often avoid taking coronavirus tests so that they do not get quarantined, and they leave the doctor with a “flu” diagnosis.

I think that the USA was talking, but there was not widespread agreement that it would be “that bad.” The Italy situation caused people to change their minds. There have been many false epidemic scares in the past, such as the avian flu and Ebola. The swine flu in the USA passed over without much notice, so I suppose many people felt the same way.

I want to stick to the more obvious questions that laymen can ask and answer. Here’s my current thinking:

People stopped vaping after the CDC blamed those deaths on it, though it never established a causal relationship and the thing faded away with no explanation. I’m surprised that Philip Morris, which invested billions in the technology, did not demand a proper enquiry.

My suspicion is that, after we further weakened our weak public health system by firing the National Security Council Directorate for Global Health Security and Biodefense in 2018, we flew blind into a domestic-origin Cover-19 outbreak in August 2019.

We do know that even well-intentioned politicians can thwart health alerts : China, with much better public health, on hair-trigger alert, actively looking for such an outbreak, took 2-3 weeks to wake up to it because local politicians worried that an outbreak might reflect on their competence. (Beijing has since rejigged things so that politicians cannot interfere with their CDC).

Here in the US, by the time someone raised the alarm (October-November?) it was too late, so the White House decided to let it get lost in the annual ‘flu death toll and even forbade Covid-19 testing from January 1 to March 1.

Perhaps the White House had decided to wait until it spread to another country then blame that country, as it blamed Mexico for H1N1 (after failing to detect it domestically for 6 months).

So maybe all we’re seeing is a pattern of indifference, incompetence, mendacity and corruption. Not really sinister. Just really, really sad.

5. We don’t know when our domestic outbreak started because the CDC discouraged testing from January until early March despite having received the WHO’s Coronavirus warning January 1.

How was this supposed to have been determined back in October in light of the sequencing of COVID-19 not having been performed until earlier this year and the diagnostic test not available until January 17th? Retrospectively, none of these team members would have tested positive any more if they survived.

There appears to be a huge gap in the timeline. Where were these team members during the entire month of November and what were they doing?

By early December they would have already recovered from whatever illness they previously had and would have not been contagious, so there would have been no reason to quarantine them.

Moreover, not just hotel employees but also competing athletes from other countries should also have been infected during this period, in which case outbreaks should have emerged in other countries at a much earlier period than February.

Based on this sparse information, the story doesn’t add up. Yet it surely doesn’t suggest a nefarious attempt at biological warfare by the US, which has been a prevalent theme among some on this site.

Chinese officials have been very secretive about this affair so there is no reason to exonerate them.

Earlier on in this corona crisis I read a couple of reports (one below from zerohedge)which said that the novel sars-cov2 virus has a protien spike which matches the hiv virus spike (the spike allows the virus to penetrate human cells).

Yesterday I read a technical paper (linked below) which describes how psudoviruses are engineered in labs for testing. One of the methods used involves “enveloping” the virus to be tested in hiv, siv, fiv and other virus protiens, amongst other things.

If the initial reports suggesting the covid19 virus has the hiv spike were true, then I think it would be safe to assume the virus was manufactured and was either deliberately or accidentally released.

Which, in turn would make the whole “wet market” hypothesis entirely wrong.
