That wretched virus has spawned great gushing waves of confusion regarding what is really happening. This column, a reliable journalistic source of a high order, has therefore gathered from other reliable sources what we genuinely know about the epidemic. Henceforth you will need to read nothing more on the matter. It is all here.

Every morning I read percipient sites that, unlike the major media, are not in the pay of George Soros. The following is a compendium of purely factual findings, devoid of spin or agenda. The interested reader can search on any of them and find large amounts of corroborative content.

The virus was invented in a biowarfare laboratory in Wuhan or, alternatively, in some other kind of lab (or perhaps simultaneously in both kinds of lab) and escaped, presumably yearning for freedom. It also came about because the Chinese were eating infected bats. It was also deliberately planted in the US by Beijing to destroy the American economy, decimate the population, and make us into Communist slaves. Further, it is being used by the Deep State to destroy the economy and let the government make us into federal slaves.

Less plausibly, which is saying something, it was a bio attack on China by the United States, which sent it to China using an infected soccer team as vector. This seems odd, since the American biowarriors who would have had to grow it would have known that it would come back to the US immediately on the hundreds of monthly flights, and also that the US was defenseless against plagues. Maybe they were distracted and didn’t think of this.

None of the above matters since the virus in fact does not exist. Yes, that’s right. There is no virus, and in any event it is no worse than the seasonal flu. The plandemic, or panicdemic, is a fairy tale concocted by the Davos crowd (the familiar tone is to persuade you that I get drunk with presidents and prime ministers on Saturday nights to destroy world economies so that Bill Gates and George Soros can take away our freedoms, impose socialism, which is very bad, and make us into communist slaves. It is also intended to depopulate the world, doubtless a hard slog for a virus that doesn’t exist, but it may be a very robust nonexistent virus. Since if the number of dead reached two million, which it hasn’t, this would be four percent of the fifty million croakees attributed to the Spanish flu, and essentially zero percent of the world’s population of the earth, it would seem that the Coronavirus needs work under warranty. Anyway, the dead supposedly killed by the virus actually died of underlying causes, such as traffic accidents, diabetes, and obesity.

The alleged dead in truth died not of Covid but of underlying causes, such as motorcycle crashes, diabetes, and obesity. Also of vitamin D deficiency caused by staying inside because of the lockdowns. These made them cranky and depressed, further lowering their defenses, so that, apparently, the mere thought of a virus killed them. The alleged dead are being stored in refrigerated morgue trucks, which are fake news.

Actually, the virus is a plot to let Big Pharma make a killing, so to speak. The columnist Pepe Escobar (no relation to Pablo) (probably) says that (unimpeachable) sources in Paris revealed that the French government knows that hydroxyquinone (HCQ) is a miracle cure but that the government is suppressing this information so the Pharma companies can find a vaccine and get rich. Richer. If I were a reporter, I would ask, “The government? All of it, hundreds of thousands of people? Only some of them? Which ones? How do you know? Evidence? Phone numbers?” But I am not a reporter.

The reader unfamiliar with the dread depths of the demonic darkness lurking behind the façade of international finance capitalism may find it implausible that Paris would let tens of thousands of Frenchmen die and the economy collapse to benefit drug companies. Plausibility is an overrated virtue. Behind all of this is Microsoft. Do not underestimate the evil in the heart of Bill Gates, the Redmond Sauron, a geek of a thousand envenomed claws, who wants to make us all into Communist slaves and switch to Bing.

Now consider hydroxyquinone, Cipro, and zinc. These have been shown by numerous studies to be a miracle cure for Covid when used together. A google search will easily find these studies. The former President of the United States, than whom there can be no more sober and trustworthy source has endorsed HCQ. HCQ is a well-known, cheap, easily produce prophylaxis against malaria. Uninformed skeptics might wonder why Cipro, an anti-bacterial, and HCQ, an antiplasmodial, would work as antivirals. But it works, as many sites say, but doesn’t, according to medical authorities, probably in the pay of Bill Gates. Zinc was once widely used in making flashlight batteries. Anyway, that all the world’s governments, knowing of this proven research, do not launch massive distribution of the miracle cure can only mean that they are all working for Big Pharma.

There is evidence that those advocating the use of zinc want to make us all into Communist flashlight batteries, but even libertarians view this with skepticism. Some fear that the government may force us all to have voltage checks.

Now we come to countermeasures. A quick web search reveals that masks are ineffective, actually increase vulnerability to the virus, which in any case does not exist, and reduce the flow of oxygen to the brain, causing cognitive damage. The insistence by government that we wear them instills reflexive obedience to government, thus facilitating our conversion into Communist slaves.

Vaccines, though, are the real threat to liberty. Vaccines are known to have lethal effects, for example having been used by government to wipe out smallpox and polio. Critics point out that with minor modification they could be used to depopulate the world, presumably so that Big Pharma could do something or other. At least one site has revealed that a vaccine potentially could actually reprogram our DNA, having I’m not sure just what effects but perhaps making us into reptiles or infected bats.

Other articles, mostly by actual doctors or men who say they are, point out that we have no way of knowing what is in the vaccines. One insidious possibility is said to be nanoparticles. I don’t know just what these are, but they must be very small, and they are said to migrate to the brain and diminish free will. In many people this would not be noticeable, so you can see the deviousness. These authors urge the population under no circumstances to use masks or accept the vaccine.

Other experts say that vaccines might contain computer chips. These could be used to track us, say some, or others say to control us, making us into socialist slaves. My own theory is that if zinc made us into flashlight batteries, the resulting current could power the chips, but I don’t want to speculate irresponsibly.

Having spent my working life in journalism, I still have(unimpeachable) sources. They tell me that to their certain knowledge Bill Gates has built an underground factory to make injectable chips. The factory is about midway on his tunnel from Area 51 to Roswell. It reportedly uses the labor of undocumented aliens. Note that the mainstream media have not uttered a single word about this factory. Only tightly organized collusion of the media can explain this perfectly maintained silence

Things are worse than we think. But anyway you understand the virus now.

Check Out Fred’s Books!

Thanks for clearing all that up! The virus leaked from Fort Detrick and all the tidal sloshing of bullshit is meant to conceal this unspeakable likelihood. The CDC knows what classified infectious agent (or toxin) breached decontamination at USAMRIID’s BSL 4 facilities at Fort Detrick sometime in late spring/early summer 2019. They also know all their is to know about EVALI and COVID 19, including why these two diseases had identical symptoms and medical outcomes, why there was no way to test for EVALI or explain the disease mechanism, and why EVALI disappeared right as COVID 19 developed. If Trump declassifies everything he better start with Fort Detrick. And then he can explain why this American research project turned global pandemic has been blamed on China.

What would be really interesting is if we find out COVID survivors have been effectively vaccinated against HIV.

  2. Here you go, Fred. It’s all about discriminating, critical, thinking.

“it is no worse than the seasonal flu”

“The alleged dead in truth died not of Covid but of underlying causes, such as motorcycle crashes, diabetes, and obesity. Also of vitamin D deficiency ” (and, in general, metabolic dysfunction – which affects 88% of the American population).

“masks are ineffective and reduce the flow of oxygen to the brain”

“The insistence by government that we wear them instills reflexive obedience to government”

“Things are worse than we think”

Great column as usual, Fred. But you have chosen a strange site to publish it in. Unz is the only place of the internet where I have seen most of the hypotheses you mention being seriously espoused by its columnists, commentators or the website owner himself. But well, at least the latter lets people like you publish this kind of pieces, which is why I like visiting the site nonetheless.

Yeah, I like how he mentions all the theories–except the true one–Fort Detrick.

And of course, he implies that the most outrageously implausible of the explanations he itemizes is the one in which the US is behind the disease.

That’s ridiculously absurd. The US is the good guys.

I agree with this comment obwandiyag.

(Personally, I think the release was accidental. I never underestimate the incompetence of our genius masters of the universe.)

I also think it likely the release was accidental. But I think it needs to be explained why the US team to the military games did not stay at the games village, adjacent to the main venue, but at a hotel some 25 miles away and only a couple of hundreds of metres from the “wet markets”. All the other teams stayed at the games village. At previous military games did the US teams stay with the other athletes? If so why was this time different?

I believe three of the US contingent were hospitalised, with lung infection, within a very few days of arriving in Wuhan. What did they have? I’ve seen no explanation although I’ve tried to find it.

Keep in mind science has increasingly been politicized. Because of this when an ‘expert’ makes a pronouncement, there is skepticism, and people are willing to consider other theories, fringe theories maybe, but plausible enough to cast doubt on the ‘experts’.

I would not put it past Red China to experiment with something like this and have an accident where it gets released. Not saying it is true, but if it eventually comes out it really happened, would anyone be surprised?

  13. @acementhead

I must admit to liking the explanation you mention – it’s a bone with some good meat on it.
However, I also tend towards the “easiest” (& most boring) explanation — there was a series of random mutations in covid viruses somewhere in the world.

  14. karel says:

An interesting thought that ”Vaccines are known to have lethal effects, for example having been used by government to wipe out smallpox and polio.” Would not a vaccine for covid be also lethal, but then covid causes no deaths? Very puzzling indeed. Fred, are you not afraid of dying from high concentration of nanoparticles floating in your brain? Please take some zinc. There is a lot of it in old bateries.

“If I were a reporter, I would ask, “The government? All of it, hundreds of thousands of people? Only some of them? Which ones? How do you know? Evidence? Phone numbers?” But I am not a reporter.”

Maybe if you were an “old school” reporter you would of done that, but the modern reporter goes to faceberg, looks at a couple of twatters and if a lot of people are objecting to something that big government, big pharma or any “respectable” organization is pushing, the modern reporter calls them conspiracy theorists. News from any source that the modern reporter approves of are called “experts” or “expert sources”. Today, anything that isn’t “official” is ignored, ridiculed or outright banned.

  16. JDave says:

I’m a medical doctor, and I haven’t seen a medical condition this politicized since AIDS in the ’80s – with similar disastrous results.
You got one thing wrong – it’s hydroxychloroquine + AZITHROMYCIN + zinc, but that’s OK.
What amazes me is that there have been no studies of that three part combo – none at all – during the 8 months the pandemic has raged in the USA. There have been studies of hydroxychloroquine alone, hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin, but none with zinc, which the original doc who came up with the combo said was essential (zinc has known antiviral effects). I have no idea why a study hasn’t been done, except the issue was immediately politicized, hydroxychloroquine being the medicine “Trump touts” for the left, and the medicine “suppressed by Soros & Gates” by the right – both nonsense, if you ask me.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans died because AIDS was treated as a political problem, rather than a medical problem early on. I hope the same thing hasn’t happened with Covid-19.
Does hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin + zinc work? I have no idea, because it has not been studied.

  17. The difficulty is that you have nonsense like “Joe wears a MASK…look how much he CARES” when he’s alone, so silly things like wearing a mask at him become political badges.

I observe that the CDC guidance on masks, isolation, and hand washing haven’t changed since March, and do not involve wearing a mask when you’re alone. WHO is even more Right Wing Reactionary, insisting you don’t need a mask if you don’t have symptoms. Clearly WHO is a bunch of Fascists.

There’s also video of the White House Press corps (Corpses?) taking off their masks as soon as they thought the cameras were off. Political badge indeed.

The danger is obvious: People who Should wear a mask don’t because, “Those people wear masks, not MY people…”

Moreover, any treatment—remember in March everyone’s clutching at straws—that Trump likes becomes “OMG, that ICKY Evil Trump likes…”

It will be interesting to see the hoops the political Left jumps through to allow themselves to take a vaccine developed using evil Trump money. Despite Pfizer’s claims to the contrary, the self-congratulatory press release from July announcing their acceptance of Evil Trump Money is still on their website.

JDave, Thanks for a little sanity. This illness has been so political that any real science has been thrown out if it doesn’t fit into a narrow view. Sad because it has made treatment difficult for many physicians to administer and worse for the patients.

  19. I don’t know what to make of this gibberish–and even less to make of the 15 first comments.

    Is this satire?

    noun

the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.

Fred’s “essay” has no humor whatsoever, zero irony, a lot of exaggeration, and a spot of ridicule. but if the object is to expose and criticize people’s stupidity, it has obviously backfired on him, as the only stupidity it exposes is the stupidity of Fred Reed.

    Fred,

Another brilliant piece of prose on your part which will have more than 71 million (at last count) uneducated and unintelligent American voters having cast their vote for the losing presidential candidate.

Although most of them will have never heard of Socrates, he was ancient Greece’s foremost philosopher who was born in 469 B.C. and died in 399 B.C.as you well know.

This Is Why Socrates Hated Democracy

In Book VI, Socrates points out the “flaws of democracy by comparing a society to a ship.” If you were going on a sea voyage, “who would you ideally want deciding who was in charge of the vessel, just anyone, or people educated in the rules and demands of seafaring?” Unless we wish to be obtusely contrarian, we must invariably answer the latter, as does Socrates’ interlocutor Adeimantus. Why then should just any of us, without regard to level of skill, experience, or education, be allowed to select the rulers of a country?

The grim irony of Socrates’ skepticism, de Botton observes, is that he himself was put to death after a vote by 500 Athenians. Rather than the typical elitism of purely aristocratic thinking, however, Socrates insisted that “only those who had thought about issues rationally and deeply should be let near a vote.” Says de Botton, “We have forgotten this distinction between an intellectual democracy and a democracy by birthright. We have given the vote to all without connecting it to wisdom.”

For Socrates, so-called “birthright democracy” was inevitably susceptible to demagoguery. Socrates “knew how easily people seeking election could exploit our desire for easy answers” by telling us what we wanted to hear. We should heed Socrates’ warnings against mob rule and the dangers of demagoguery, de Botton argues, and consider democracy as “something that is only ever as good as the education system that surrounds it.” It’s a potent idea, and one often repeated with reference to a similar warning from Thomas Jefferson.

So to summarize , we need to have an ‘Intellectual Democracy” not just any old Democracy where anyone can vote. There need to be Philosophers, Scientists, Teachers and other skilled thinkers at the helm not corporations and clever politicians who are able to control and fool the masses using media and other powers of persuasion.

They are busy enough trying to save the lives of the victims of this pandemic. I suspect that someone has already tried the combination that you mention and many others.

On the other hand, I can definitely believe that US researches and big Western journals are refraining from studying that combination based on political reasons.

I want someone who thinks of themselves as a public servant and works for the betterment of the people going on the sea voyage. Knowledge of seafaring is fine, but if those skills are used to exploit the travelers, I would prefer someone with good intentions. This underscores the problem with what might be called ‘credentialism’. I think this is why the founders did not want professional politicians running the country.

  28. This is one comprehensive piece of satire! I gotta give Fred Reed credit for that. While making fun of everything and everyone surrounding this 8-month-running Kung Flu PanicFest, Mr. Reed even got the guts up to make fun of Ron Unz’s silly “The Americans did it!” theory. Bravo on that one.

The thing with this writing is that he’s so great at making fun, but has not the critical thinking skills to ever determine who is actually right about anything. There always are people who are right, of course. This carries into Mr. Reed’s stupid writing about American problems like immigration when he complains about the problem, complains about others who complain about the problem, and then denigrates anyone who uses his own time and money to help try to solve the problem.

It’s great fun to make fun, isn’t it, Mr. Reed? It’s a lot harder to actually do some serious thinking and then subsequently get off your scrawny ass and DO SOMETHING. You make fun of all those who fear Communism. I’ll give you this: I am not worried about you personally working for the Commies. Communists want useful idiots, but they don’t even want useless idiots like yourself.

BTW, what I take really personally about this sick Covid-one-niner nonsense, especially regarding the wearing of the face diapers, is the effect on the kids. Fred Reed is just another Bill Nye the science guy, all gov status quo propaganda & no science. He takes aim at the lowest hanging fruit & still doesn’t hit a thing. Been drinking the water down there too long I suppose.

    @Uncle Al

60 game seasons don’t lead to the world series. The Dodgers won a professional baseball competition masquerading as the world series.

    Yep, Covid hysteria is crap.

The Spanish flu it utterly, totally is not.

    So, overreaction or conspiracy?

Dunno, but am currently leaning more towards the latter.

  54. The real virus in America is called DonaldTrump-16 or DT-16.

This virus, if u get, it immediately shrinks your penis down to microscopic size, and make it look like a microscopic mushroom.

It also makes u unable to accept reality and makes u live in a dream world, where everyone kowtows to u and you are always the winner, no mater what a sucker and loser u are.

Anything opposite to that, like losing a election to the worst candidate in the world, you will totally lose your marbles and run around in circles, quacking like a duck.

It would be really funny stuff if it weren’t true.

  56. Trumpkin says:

    Fred sez,

Old Freddo missed one important detail: the Main Fake News’ relentlessly proclaimed truth that Trump’s liking of HCQ comes from his massive stock investment in manufacture of the 70-year old drug. Further research disclosed the investment of seven American dollars. Patents long expired and anybody can make HCQ but Trump is about to make billions on the one nickel per pill drug.

Old Freddo wrote many times how he has been buying his medications cheap in Mexico, many times cheaper than he would in America. For everybody else left behind in Merika, the evil Main Cockatoo lowered the prices of medication by legally requiring Big Pharma to sell drugs here at Mexican prices. Never happened before and will never happen again if Senile Joe does become El Presidente.

    @GreatSocialist

I think you are talking about Joe Biden.

  58. @obwandiyag

When did you start making sense? Shocking!!!
Did one of your dark skinned brethren bash you about the head several times.

  59. @Achmed E. Newman

Yes, to your last paragraph, Achmed. Every time I see a small child wearing a face diaper, my heart breaks a little more. The US has gone from stupid, to bat-shit crazy, to Evil. Parents who force their small children to wear masks should be arrested for child abuse. And, don’t get me started on the teachers and school boards, too incompetent or lazy to do a little research and find out that kids don’t get sick with corona, and won’t pass it on to them. Police would be fired if they refused to go to work, and the same should happen to teachers.

    @JDave

Sorry to stir up bad memories, but would you be so kind as to reveal the year in which you began informing your male patients that they needn’t worry about HIV, so long as they weren’t using needle drugs or taking it up the keister?

  61. IvyMike says:

Wow, a Fred Reed column that doesn’t equate blacks and monkeys.

  62. @Dumbo

Almost everything about this “pandemic” is fake and/or contradictory

Speaking for myself, with all due respect, I’m pretty sure that was very largely the whole point and purpose of the article.

    Sorry you missed that.
