Sailer is a prolific writer known for his pseudo-scientific writings on race that have become popular among the alt-right. Sailer graduated from Rice University in 1980 and began writing for National Review in the 1990s, a stint that ended when he was pushed out in 1998. This quote suggests that the writer was an innocent victim of antifa aggression, confirming the Charlottesville protesters’ claims that they were innocent victims of left-wing violence. I predict that the young man, whom the MSM want to see lynched for Ms. Heyer’s death will, ultimately be acquitted or face relatively minor charges, just as happened with George Zimmerman. The left-wing mob violence in Charlottesville, the unwillingness of police to control that violence, and the actions of local politicians, which actually inflamed that violence, provide a ready-made affirmative defense: The young man’s apparently reckless driving was due to compelling necessity. He was desperately seeking to escape the fate of Reginald Denny at the hands of an out-of-control mob which had begun attacking his car and him.

It’s not even clear that Heyer was struck by his car or died as a result of his actions. The MSM have promoted pictures of a woman on the hood of the young man’s car. Although this woman was part of the BLM mob with which Ms. Heyer was rampaging, she was not actually Ms. Heyer.

The MSM have left at least one further clue about their narrative construction. As with Trayvon Williams, they have been presenting extremely out-of-date and misleading photographs of Ms. Heyer. Rather than the dewy-eyed HS grad the MSM have been promoting, Ms. Heyer was a very obese, thirty-something woman, who’d been rampaging for some time with a BLM mob on a hot day. Rumor has it that she died of a heart attack, although there’s so much squid ink out there now that it’s impossible to determine the truth of this.

I was thinking the same thing. Unless he exposed a terrorist plot or pervasive sentiments beyond the pale of public Alt Right discourse, his investigative report amounts to a big ZERO. The only thing that makes it the least bit saucy is that he was “embedded” with a controversial dissident group, which lends itself to an unearned air of legitimacy and bravery. I do see a potential back-fire along the lines of the Hillary speech, because the story appears to be all sizzle, no steak.

Most get-togethers with White Advocates I’ve attended have had at least one of these infiltrators report about it online, and they are boring reads. I’m conscious that many attendees are risking their jobs by being there, so I focus on fellowship and friendly conversation and avoid anything that could lead to a disclosure of personal information. The most interesting thing I’ve heard in over a decade was a defense of the post-reconstruction era KKK by a few unreconstructed Southerners in their 70’s.
