Théo Négri, a young software engineer from France, had come up with so many novel ideas at his job at an Internet start-up in San Francisco that the American entrepreneur who hired him wanted to keep him on.

So he helped Mr. Négri apply for a three-year work visa for foreign professionals with college degrees and specialized skills, mainly in technology and science. With his master’s degree from a French university and advanced computer abilities, Mr. Négri seemed to fill the bill.

But his application for the H-1B visa was denied, and he had to leave the United States. Back in France, Mr. Négri used his data skills to figure out why.

The answer was simple: Many of the visas are given out through a lottery, and a small number of giant global outsourcing companies had flooded the system with applications, significantly increasing their chances of success. While he had one application in last year’s lottery and lost, one of the outsourcing companies applied for at least 14,000. The companies were squeezing out American employers like his boss.

When it suits them, the globalists take out the simple demand-supply curves, to show how with higher prices the supply rises to match demand. But when it comes to saving the interests of Facebook or Google, all such clear reasoning is thrown out of the window. The US can solve all so-called skill shortages by letting the wages of the skilled rise. This will create the supply as skilled workers come in and train themselves to take advantage of the higher wages. But all this does not suit the money-bags, hence the constant lament of “skills shortage”. The US without any help from skilled Indians or Chinese, landed man on the moon, which is till today the greatest single feat of engineering ever seen. But the same US cannot produce enough “skilled workers” to handle databases. This is of course a lie.

  2. The solution to the immigration/H-1B problem is having our schools return to teaching academics, instead of PC classes.

There is no economic case for race-replacing The Historic Native Born White American Majority street by street…town by town…county by county…state by state….across America with legal immigrant Asians and their “American” born geneline.

A very severe labor scarcity=a very high real wage…who would be opposed to this?

Rock bottom:It is all about Race…and because of this, economic arguments count for this much:0(this doesn’t contradict my statement above).

The passage of the 1965 Immigration Reform Act+the H-1 ad L-1 B Visa Program has allowed a highly racialized rapidly growing predatory Asian Fifth column to enter the US and purchase the “US” Congress and to become the gatekeepers in the US Medical, Science, and Tech Fields. Native Born White Americans are under no obligation to tolerate this because Asian “Americans” demand that we do…

The Asian “Americans” will be enthusiastically voting Whitey into a violently persecuted racial minority on Nov 3 2016…

The solution to the H-1 L-1 B Visa problem is to shut it down completely, than expel the Chinese-Hindu-Korean Fifth columns. Then Native Born White America can get back to putting Native Born White American Alpha Males with advanced engineering degrees and experimental jet fighter experience back on the Moon again like we did when their were hardly any Asians in America at the time…

I found this proposal by NYT commenter Anthony Nicholls interesting:

My suggestion, to be added to many of the constructive ones here, is simply for the INS to take all the applications on April 1st, subtract from each proposed salary a realistic average for that job and location, and rank them by the remainder, i.e. issue visas to those willing to pay more, not less. That would make potential employers who really want the best (as I do) to overbid and make H1Bs expensive. It would actually put positive pressure on wages and do what the program is supposed to do- make American the land of the talented.

This sounds like a good idea to me. Any thoughts on its practicality? Being willing to pay a high salary is an excellent indicator of whether someone is bringing scarce, valuable, and needed skills to the position.

I have a much better proposal-policy…and it is a proposal and policy that was implemented in the past with great success:The Chinese Exclusion Act updated to include all Asian and Muslim ethnic groups that want to migrate and colonize Native Born White American Living and Breeding Space.

The solution is a highly racialized National Origins Immigration Policy…like the one that China has in place.

As far as Native Born White American Racial Interests go…there are no economic, cultural, and ecological-environmental reasons for importing Asian and Muslim legal immigrants post-1965…into America.

The Hindu’s and Chinese workers are no friends of whitey despite what the HBD crowd thinks. We should not import them for any reason. They bring their own culture and values with them, many stay loyal to the home country. A Hindu manager will if given the chance hire Hindu workers. Same with the Chinese. And you see how they run their own countries, they’ll bring that same level of incompetence and out of control corruption here.

    And they vote Democratic.

There is no gain having them here at all.

There is no shortage of Americans getting STEM degrees and most foreign students are actually below the quality of their American counterparts.

  9. MarkinLA says:
    @res

Norm Matloff has proposed something along those lines.

However, people proposing solutions simply don’t get it when it comes to government programs. ANY loophole will be exploited and you can be sure there will be some. You also know that the agencies protecting Americans from an abusive system will do as little as possible at the behest of those in the executive branch. The only way to fix a government program is to end it.

This is why I laugh when people listen to that practiced liar Rubio. Now he will deport people. He just wants all those “people here 15 years with clean records” to be allowed to stay. Does anybody remember Reagan’s amnesty? That had a special provision for “farmworkers”. Guess what, everybody showed up with some handwritten piece of paper as proof they were or had been famworkers. The fraud was massive and nobody cared because the Republicans convinced themselves that they would get the Hispanic vote. Then Congress passed bill after bill letting all those people whose dog ate their paperwork to get amnesty after the initial amnesty. There were 7 amnesties total. You can guarantee if Rubio can get some to stay, they all will.

  10. War for Blair Mountain [AKA "Great Battle for Blair Mountain"] says:

A very small sample from Aerospace:1)The Wright Brothers…2)Kelly Johnson…3)Richard Withcomb …the Asian “Americans” consider this a microaggression and want to make sure this never happens again…

  11. War for Blair Mountain [AKA "Groovy Battle for Blair Mountain"] says:

No, I don’t want China’s and India’s best and brightest, for they have been waging a vicious race-war against Native Born White American Males in the Tech Fields. Proof:IIT grads living it up in mansions in Northern California.

A very severe labor scarcity must never be used as an excuse to race-replace The Historic Native Born White American Majority street by street…town by town…county by county..state by state. And it is for this reason that the immigration moratorium must be rejected.

Cant forget to mention when the companies abusing H1b visas put down impossible requirements. The most famous example is demanding 5 years of experience with Windows 2012. After failing to find “qualified” Americans, they then hire foreigners as indentured servants. Donald Trump raising the prevailing wages of H1b visa holders cant happen soon enough. Its time to end this labor arbitrage being conducted by the Silicon Valley oligarchs.
