Aid to Israel is now a highly polarizing issue, a poll conducted by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and the pro-Zionist Israel Democracy Institute have found.

The survey taken last month found that the US government’s deferential treatment of Israel is completely out of line and unrepresentative of popular opinion.

On the question of whether to restrict US military aid to Israel, 50% of all Americans support ending such support, compared to 45% who oppose it. Among supporters of aid restrictions are 32% of registered Republicans, 62% of Democrats, and 52% of Independents. This is a drastic rise from historical opinion polls for all political persuasions right, left and center.

In respects to the Israel-Palestine conflict itself, only 32% of Americans believe the US government should be getting involved on Israel’s side.

A glaring distinction is made clear when both the US and the Jewish Israeli public were asked about potential solutions to the dispute. Last July, it was found that 56% of Americans and 69% of Israel’s Arab minority support a two state solution, which would allow the West Bank and Gaza to become an independent Palestinian state. Only 34% of Jews in Israel support this view.

Even more telling were the answers on a potential one state solution. A one state solution would incorporate Gaza and the West Bank and transform Israel into an American or European style multi-racial democracy where Arabs in occupied territories would enjoy equal rights to Jews. Even higher numbers of Americans (60%) support this resolution, as well as 56% of Israeli Arabs. Meanwhile, only a paltry 14% of Israeli Jews would even consider such an idea.

The only opinion Israeli Jews responded favorably to was to maintain the status quo (42%) in the conflict, which means the slow and illegal expansion of their regime as they ethnically cleanse and kill Palestinians. This view was only shared by 26% of Americans and 15% of Israeli Arabs.

It is not controversial to say that global Jewry is by far the most vocal and powerful advocate for racial pluralism, mass immigration, and multi-culturalism in the West. Yet, in the Jewish state, the idea of a “rainbow nation” is rejected by a super-majority, who are so inflexible that they do not even want Palestinians to have even the most sensible demand of an independent nation composed of the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

As this poll run by the Israel lobby shows, Zionism in the United States is rapidly losing ground among popular opinion. This has yet to make any significant mark on Washington consensus, where both Democrats and Republicans have repeatedly shown that American aid to Israel is unconditional.

  1. If Democrat voters are only 62% in favour of a policy, they have no chance of getting that policy adopted by “their” party’s corrupt politicians. Unfortunately, people who voted for the notoriously corrupt Biden and Harris will never grasp the connection.

There are now a majority of Democrat voters who believe in a system of US censorship run by billionaires. Aren’t billionaires rich and famous? Remember “I’d just grab them by the pussy. When you’re rich and famous, they let you.”. Trump was talking about Democrats, probably also the elite supported Antifa and certainly the corrupt BLM.

Why do Republicans persist with the fantasy that US billionaires want somebody to take their money off them? They’re as brainwashed as Democrats are by the same lies repeated by the same billionaire media. No, US billionaires won’t have their Democrat party introduce communism.

The Republicans are now more interested in standing up for employees’ economic interests although the Democrats don’t oppose any employees, such as teachers, who don’t yet face foreign competition. That would only change if teaching moved permanently online. One teacher for every five students at a fraction of today’s classroom cost would then be possible with no US teachers. [email protected]

  2. Molip says:

Israel is solely responsible for its own security problems. If it treated the Palestinians fairly then most issues would simply melt away and there would be no need for any US aid at all.

  3. Anon[207] • Disclaimer says:

It’s easy to assume these 50% also support having regular elections.
And yet they didn’t get a lawful presidential election. They won’t get any cut to “aid” to Israel.
They won’t get anything else they “support”, if the élite don’t happen to support it too.

To this, if they had the time and opportunity, they should pay a little thought.
Perhaps it means they haven’t been good, and/or serious about, at supporting what it is that they support?

  4. Wokechoke says:

One reason the neocons Shrieked as the US evacuated Kabul is that the US could abandon the Israelis too. It’s not likely but the retreat from Kabul made abandoning Israel possible to imagine. Next day Biden is bowing to a jewess Rabbi. Can’t have the Jews worried about being cut off.

That statement is inconsequential…since the U. S. populace has no bearing on what is and what isn’t U. S. policy. Those that totally control this country have absolutely no interest in what the people want.

Israel is a nation of genocidal psychopaths. Zeroing out the aid is only the first step. The world is going to have to nuke Tel Aviv, decapitate the Jew state with prosecutions for the crime against humanity of extermination, and undertake mass rehabilitation of its Zionazi death cult.

  9. Tom Verso says:

    You write:

“On the question of whether to restrict US military aid to Israel, 50% of all Americans support ending such support, compared to 45% who oppose it.”

This is not an accurate representation of the poll’s findings.

    You quote out of context,

Specifically, in the “Key Findings” section is the following:

“Overall opinion divides closely on whether the United States should (50%) or should not (45%) restrict US military aid to Israel to prohibit its use in military operations against Palestinians.” (emp.+)

More specifically, the exact question asked and reported was:

“Do you support or oppose putting restrictions on US military aid to Israel so that it cannot use that aid toward military operations against Palestinians?” (emp.+)

There is no question about military aid to Israel generally.

I am genuinely curious how would one design military aid in such a way that it could be useful against, for example, Iranians but not against Palestinians?

  12. Al Kayder says:

Israel will get desperate. Out of desperation they will do something horrible and blame it on Iran, make it look as if Iran did it.

As for the Palestinians, the Zionists will probably just keep encroaching and shooting harmless rockets at themselves, blaming it on Hamas.

I don’t love them, but I don’t hate them either – I hate Muslims. I don’t subscribe to various Jewish conspiracies so popular here and as far as I’m concerned we co-existed with Jews in Europe for centuries more or less peacefully. Frankly, when there were problems it was usually us bothering them not the other way around.

Armies that plundered Europe on many occasions, pirates that enslaved millions of Europeans over the centuries… none of them were Jewish – they were Muslims.

In Australia there are Jews, and there are Muslims. Who causes riots, who runs off to Syria to join ISIS (good riddance), who attempts terrorist attacks on Australian soil? Funnily enough, it’s always Muslims. Never Jews!

Right now it’s not Jews who are ruining Europe and creating whole suburbs where native Europeans are not feeling safe – it’s Muslims. Yes, I would happily kick them out and replace them with Jews if I must.

Trying to poll this question at all is rather problematic. Seekers & Holders of elected office need votes. So the real issue is, “Would a candidate’s position on Israel change your vote?” And, that is almost unpollable, because cynical people lie to pollsters when that type of phrasing is used.

Thus, one needs to look at “single issue” commitment in other ways. “Mixed issue” is a clear indicator to politicians to look at the top influencing issue. For example:

Oversimplified illustration as a thought experiment / Assuming you could obtain honest answers — Which candidate would you vote for:
        1) They Must be Pro-BLM, do not care about Israel
        2) They Must be Pro-BLM & Anti-Israel
        3) They Must be Anti-Israel, do not care about BLM
        4) Do not care about either issue

An actual population sample (not UR Readers) will score near zero % in #3. And, much higher in #2. Thus, any candidate that is already locked in against BLM gains nothing by being Anti-Israel. The maximum potential vote gain is exclusively category #3.

An actual poll, not this thought experiment, would stack multiple issues in various ways generate a predicted priority for vote changing impact.

Free riding on high profile U.S. race and gender issues has inflated raw but superficial “inch deep” numbers against Israel. Dig deeper to determine the impact on actual voter behaviour and you will find politicians who are soft on Palestinian Terrorism lose many swing votes. Murder remains unpopular with Americans.

Muslims are in Europe because Jews brought them in.

Look at the roster of “European” leaders who have pushed North African, ME and “Asian” immigration – Jews like Britain’s Barbara Roche.

Few if any readers at Unz are unfamiliar with the idea that Jews push immigration in White countries to fragment the White majority while demanding hard ethno-nationalism for Jews/Israel b/c muh Holocaust. Readers with good faith questions (Raga10 isn’t one) can read Kevin MacDonald for the basics.

Raga10 is giving you the Tommy Robinson “Shalom” anti-Jihadist kosher-approved propaganda line. Americans get this from Mark Steyn, Robert Spencer, the odious Pam Gellar, etc…

Europe wouldn’t have a “Muslim question” without Jewish power and it will remain until Europeans remove Jews from power.

  27. raga10 says:

Muslims are in Europe because Jews brought them in.

No, Muslims are in Europe because we let them in. We need to accept responsibility for our actions and stop blaming external forces for events that are either natural or under our control. As far as I can see this obsession with Jews is simply a strategy for creating a common enemy, for creating a sense of belonging. To have “us” you need to have “not-us”. I understand, but I think it is a misguided strategy because while you think you’re demonstrating righteous anger, far too often you just come across as a bunch of whining pussies.

I am not giving you any kosher-approved propaganda. “Mark Seyn, Robert Spencer, Pam Gellar”? I barely know who these people are. I am telling you what I think on the basis of my own lived experience.

And this is what I think: there is no great Jewish conspiracy. Jews, like us, do what’s best for them. They look for angles to improve their position and take opportunities when they can. So what? We do the same – both on the individual level, and as nations. The answer is to concentrate on our goals, not to whinge about what they allegedly might or might not be doing.

Whether Jews are behind Muslim immigration or not, our response should be the same: stop the immigration.

Financial system sucks because capitalism sucks, not because it is run by Jews. You could replace every Jewish banker with a Viking, and financial system would still suck just as much.

People in power will always use it to accumulate more power; it doesn’t matter if they are Jewish, Chinese or Russian; the answer is to hold them accountable whenever possible, not to obsess about their ethnicity – that’s a red herring they often use to their own advantage.

In any population there are a small number of individuals who will launch over-the-top, click bait, faux outraged, responses that have little to do with reality. Often it is to curry favour and status within their own peer group. It would be better to say:

A small numbers of people in Israel provided pro forma responses aimed at their domestic constituencies. There was *NO* overall impact on Polish-Israeli relations.

    This goes both ways.

On a voice vote, the U.S. passed Public Law 115-171 (a.k.a. S447) requiring the State Department to keep a list… “The report is to contain findings on “the return to the rightful owner of any property, including religious or communal property, that was wrongfully seized or transferred” . The Law has zero penalties and no actionable provisions for enforcement.

A small number of people in Poland reacted loudly to please their domestic constituencies. There was *NO* overall impact on U.S.- Polish relations.

But I am starting to think you’re just too thick to be of any use anyway. Perhaps you don’t actually think Muslim invasion is a problem? Muslims might not think highly of the Jews but rest assured they think even less highly of you. And when they take over this time, Poland will not be able to ride down and save your worthless ass again because this is no longer 1683 and quite a few things changed since then.
