A far left activist who came to be known for his work at Right Wing Watch is now a researcher at the Atlantic Council, a prominent NATO think-tank.

Jared Holt, who extremism researchers such as Dr Eoin Lenihan have previously linked to the “antifa” movement — a group of loosely organized anarchists and communists who believe in the use of violence and institutional censorship to silence opposing political views — is featured as a fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab.

While Holt has never publicly confirmed or denied his links to the anarchist movement, he found himself immersed in controversy last year when it emerged that self-described “antifa” activist Connor Betts, who killed 10 people in a shooting spree at a Dayton, Ohio bar, repeatedly interacted with him on social media.

For years, Holt used the power allocated to him by the George Soros financed People for the American Way, the umbrella NGO overseeing Right Wing Watch, to “deplatform” conservatives and nationalists while also helping mainstream left-wing extremist ideology.

According to the Atlantic Council’s research project, its mission is “To identify, expose, and explain disinformation where and when it occurs using open source research; to promote objective truth as a foundation of government for and by people; to protect democratic institutions and norms from those who would seek to undermine them in the digital engagement space,” in other words, NATO’s Ministry of Truth.

Holt, who has no relevant qualifications or skills, seems to have been appointed purely due to his activism and ideology. Bob Haas, the Jewish heir to the Levi Strauss jeans fortune, helps fund Right Wing Watch as a trustee of both the Ford Foundation and the Evelyn Haas and Walter Haas Jr Fund. Haas is a prominent neo-liberal who holds membership at NATO-linked organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations and Brookings Institute.

The employees at the Atlantic Council’s project appear to be mostly young cosmopolitans from elite families. NATO’s eagerness to deputize Holt, whose only experience is in silencing right-wing, nationalist and populist ideas, as one of its future tecno-dystopian information ministers represents an ever yawning gap between neo-liberal institutions and the ordinary citizens of the West.

  1. …an ever yawning gap between neo-liberal institutions and the ordinary citizens of the West.

Why are such types called “neo-liberal” when they’re no more liberal than Lenin?

Oddly, Friedmanite/neo-Manchesterian neo-liberalism has evolved into an authoritarian system that employs street paramilitaries like Antifa at home and also constantly wages small scale warfare overseas. The warfare may be “small scale” but it causes hundreds of thousand of casualties and makes millions homeless.

Is he CIA? Or just a useful tool? Probably related to someone, maybe goes to the right “church”. Interesting that they’d let him be seen so publicly. Going to have to remember his name and see where he shows up next.

Why are neoconservatives so called when they aren’t conservative at all?
Compared to even the 1950s, most C21st “conservatives” are politically to the left, often well to the left, especially on social and other matters. Steve Sailer used to complain that the political goal posts had been moved sharply leftward in the post war period. More like the whole pitch, mate.

Antifa and BLM are obviously fronts financed and backed by the Oligarchs and sections of the US Deep State. But now we have clear evidence for a Deep State lackey actually coordinating their activities. Holt seems to be the first example of this. I expect more examples to surface shortly.

Interesting that they’d let him be seen so publicly.

Maybe, maybe not. Ron Unz has often pointed out the sheer incompetence of the US Deep State, bloated, dysfunctional and corrupt as it is. This may be the result of sloppiness. Maybe they don’t even care. The masses won’t know this as the MSM won’t report it. It will only be “noticed ” ( © Steve Sailer 1995 ) in a small number of independent media like UR. Your average Deep State flunkey probably couldn’t give a s**t.

Probably related to someone, maybe goes to the right “church”.

You could be right about being related to someone. It’s very common in the Deep State. Edward Snowdon got a job as a CIA contractor. He was unqualified to do the job. In fact, he didn’t even have a degree. However, his grandfather was an Admiral.
His name isn’t Jewish, nor does he have the look. I know the FBI uses a lot of Mormons, but this sort of covert role wouldn’t be congenial for a Mormon.

Going to have to remember his name and see where he shows up next.

Indeedy Doody. If the US is still around in 10 years time, this slimeball may well be a Democratic Congressman – and his past will have been memory holed by the MSM.

Compared to even the 1950s, most C21st “conservatives” are politically to the left, often well to the left, especially on social and other matters.

Actually, early neocons included the likes of Charles Murray, or at least his audience. They were New Deal/JFK/Humphrey types disturbed at the social and sexual chaos brewing in the land. Today’s “alt-right” is more left on social issues, what with their plethora of PUAs and homos and support of legal abortion.

As long as they stick to domestic issues, neocons aren’t all that troublesome. A good example is the Center of the American Experiment in Minneapolis (and perhaps similar tanks in the Midwest). I get e-mail notices from them and rarely see anything actionable. The Manhattan Institute appears to be similar, though I don’t follow them closely anymore.

You could call Southern Goldwater voters the first neoconservatives. Compare 1944 and 1964; how did they morph from commies to libertarians overnight?

I’ll put this behind a MORE wall, because it may flash and trigger seizures. The blue counties are Obama’s (2008), the pink, Hillary’s.

No mention of Leo Strauss or the Tribe. There’s a first.

You’re commenting on the column of Eric Striker, and he’s no PUA or supporter of homosexualism.

That is a ludicrous claim. Even your hyperbolic language betrays the fact. In 1944, the Democrats were still very much the party of segregation. By 1964 that had changed drastically. Goldwater’s view was that the question should a matter for the States, not the Federal Government. This obviously appealed to very many White Southerners.

As the civilization they control falls downward.

Since the two go together the best they’ll manage in the long run is a Pyrrhic Victory.

By the way, regarding the link between Jared Holt and Connor Betts, there’s this from the Wiki page on The Dayton Shooting.

“Despite describing himself as a leftist and voicing his support for antifa,[6] a preliminary assessment did not indicate that Betts had a racial or political motive.”

    Ministry of Truth indeed.
