It is not hard to think of reasons why Hillary Clinton should not be President. Yesterday Wikileaks founder Julian Assange cited one of the best: Libya.

In an interview with John Pilger, a noted Australian-born documentary maker and veteran critic of American military adventurism, he commented: “Libya more that anyone else’s war was Hillary Clinton’s war. Barack Obama initially opposed it. Who was the person who was championing it? Hillary Clinton. That’s documented throughout her emails. There’s more than 1,700 emails out of the 33,000 of Hillary Clinton’s emails we published just about Libya.

“She perceived the removal of Gaddafi and the overthrow of the Libyan state as something that she would use to run in the general election for president. So late 2011, there’s an internal document called the ‘Libya Tick Tock’ that is produced for Hillary Clinton, and… it’s a chronological description of how Hillary Clinton was the central figure in the destruction of the Libyan state.”

Things did not quite follow the script, however. For a start, U.S. ambassador Christopher Stevens and several other U.S. citizens were massacred when U.S. facilities in Benghazi were ransacked. The attacks were facilitated by security lapses for which Clinton was forced to take responsibility.

Observing that Libya remains to this day ravaged by civil war, Assange added: “As a result, there [have been] around 40,000 deaths within Libya. Jihadists moved in, ISIS moved in. That led to the European refugee and migrant crisis, because not only did you have people fleeing Libya, people then fleeing Syria, destabilization of other African countries as a result of arms flows.”

The interview, which was made in association with London-based Dartmouth Films and broadcast by RT, ranged widely over Clinton’s vulnerabilities. It can be viewed here.

Forced to take what responsibility ?
    Nothing happened to her.
She should not have been able to run for any office.
She should not have been able to show her face in public.

Yet she is running for POTUS and has an even chance of winning.
The dead are dead, and she will live the rest of her unnatural life as a millionaire, even if she lose the election.

In either case, like Bill, she will hit the public speech circuit and make more easy money. Nothing ever happens to these people: they don’t lose money; they don’t go to jail. Nothing. All they do is say “I take full responsibility” and that’s it.

What does the expression “I take full responsibility” even mean?

but we must never blame anyone in Africa for instability in North America, correct?

  4. Trump will no doubt make many mistakes. But he will have to cause a true disaster to outdo what Hillary has already done.

The cavalier attitude towards the lives of others shown by Clinton and people like her is distressing. Tens of thousands die just because of the ambitions of these various inhuman psychopaths. This sort of thing has been going on for too long in our history. I want my taxes to go towards building roads and hospitals and not be used to kill people around the world; yet I have little choice. This is the face of evil: laughing and sneering with a sense of impunity. Nothing is ever enough for them.

“Over the past few years, some of music’s biggest names, including Mariah Carey, Usher and Beyoncé, have taken as much as a million dollars to play private shows for the family of Libya’s brutal dictator, Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi – a man who this week ordered security forces to open fire on citizens protesting his rule, killing as many as “thousands,” according to a UN official. During New Year’s Eve events on the Caribbean island of St. Barts in 2009, “ And then there is poor Haiti where rich rush to do their penance and ask for forgiveness from those who don’t know it exists .

But Beyonce claimed she was already there .- .

Rolling Stone,”music biggest names”,artists,UN,Haiti, and the intended targets who would be voting in this elections are reconnected again this year through the sheer presence of Beyonce’ –
. “Dixie Chicks, a trio of once insanely popular, then absurdly disgraced ” (NYT) ,still cant be rehabilitated in the Haitain voters minds because of wrong timing of expression of disgust at another felon George Bush who was killing behind the back of UN,Haitian ,Music biggest names , and Rolling Stone (media) .

Beyonce was there to upgrade the status of Gaddafi family She is back to the game again to upgrade the connection between Clinton and the blackest of the Haitian crowd. Only missing in the game are those maimed and killed blackest of the blackest subSaharn ( sub Haitian ) migrant workers who were thankful to Ghaddafi .
Haiti is human’s metaphorical existence. Sad,desolate wrecked and ready to redeem the one fallen from grace and ready to offer salvation to Clinton who still haven’t secured a place on the seventh heaven .Haiti is also ready to supply Trump with a lot of angry white child soldiers whose toys were removed by the iconic Bush Cheney who were suspected by Dixie Chicks of bringing Haiti in the American heartland .

I met a woman who was from Chicago She was upset with Beyonce ‘s performance at Ghaddafi’s party , she told that she would vote for Mayor Emmanuel because her extended family or friend had some connection to that family from marriage or something . She was nursing aide . She later did nursing moved out of Chicago and now wonders of Russia would succeed in getting Trump elected . Haitians have been warned by shamans . Attempts to associate myriad ideas can confuse the mind when information moves fast and in opposite direction a minute later leaving the emotion unprocessed.

Haiti has never been far from our mind and will always be there to rescue us from onerous mental challenges more so when the body is broken into thousands pieces by cholera ,wind, and the earthquake.

Haiti was again catered by Clinton family and agro business Someone can do good there now and gain some thunderous clapping . Haiti in N Africa was created by her so that neo-Haitian could be protected under R2P plans .Her own salvation – she could move to White House and Beyonce can be rehabilitated for that crucial helpful presence .

Just to add a few details to this sordid tale. Italian Premier Borganelli essentially paid off Gaddafi to keep a lid on Libyan emigration to Italy. That all ended with Gaddafi’s torture/death. Consequentially the European immigration floodgates were opened big time. And as you pointed out, Hillary was a major, major player in engineering this debacle. A debacle in terms of both American and humanitarian interests!

  8. Dan Hayes says:
    @Dan Hayes

My error: it’s Silvio Berlusconi not Borganelli.

  9. @Avery

Any other State Dept. employee who did what she did with the emails would have been fired and would have had their pension revoked. And they would face indictment for violation of the Espionage Act. Hillary Clinton, however, may become POTUS.

    What a farce!

  10. Is it really plausible that Obama was strongly influenced by Clinton when Obama had already seen her disastrous judgement regarding Iraq?

  11. The Libya thing is the harpy’s greatest crime. She should be held legally accountable for it.

She perceived the removal of Gaddafi and the overthrow of the Libyan state as something that she would use to run in the general election for president.

Ha-ha-ha, that’s a good one, one of the bigger Big Lies around.

Qaddafi sealed his fate when he got uppity and was going to insist on getting paid for Libya’s sweet crude with gold dinars, which got the banking crowd’s attention. If that would keep up, pretty soon, no one would use the phony, worthless USD’s to trade and goodbye to Empire and so long to the USA.

  13. In a better world, the Harpy’s Libya effort would be a stepping stone to a war crimes trial. It now looks like Assange was too pessimistic. The wikileaks did help bring her down. Those who voted for her out of partisan loyalty knowing her odious record share some of her opprobrium.

It’s damning because it was a mistake. It was never acknowledge as a mistake. And she (along with others) promoted the Arab Spring and various color revolutions.

    1. The rebellion was encouraged (and maybe financed) by the West.
    2. It was pitched as a humanitarian crisis that required immediate action.
    3. The military support exceeded the minimum necessary to prevent a potential massacre of civilians.
    4. The end result was a catastrophe. There was no effective plan to replace Gaddafi with an alternative government.
    5. It was no different that the Bush fantasy that regime change would result in a rapid transition to a functioning democracy in Iraq. After 8 years of seeing how that worked out, how could she not see the parallels?

And finally and most important. She is hellbent to use military force in Syria, even though there is no path to victory. I mean even a fantasy path.

Bill Clinton said his biggest regret regarding his presidency was *not* getting involved in Rwanda — to ‘prevent’ the genocide. In addition, Bill — in spite of warnings by George Kennan and other highly experienced cold war diplomats — naively jumped into expanding NATO. The Obama administration is still involved in expansion of NATO.

Hillary wasn’t alone. But she still actively supports the same neocon idiocy that has been a proven failure.

It’s all a moot point now. She lost.

But, the essential thing is that we can’t solve the ethnic strife in the middle east with our military. And TRUMP seems to realize it and he better act on it. And not appoint the same losers that got us into this mess.

  16. Rehmat says:

Were you talking about Israel, darling??

On November 8, David Quarrey, British ambassador to Israel while talking to a British delegation from the Women’s International Zionist Organization (WIZO) in his office in Tel Aviv said that peaceful co-existence between Israeli Jews and Palestinians is unlikely to happen for decades, even centuries.

Quarrey told the women that though several regional Arab governments such as Sudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Bahrain, and Turkey are warming-up to Israel – the majority of people in those countries hate Israel for its occupation and treatment of Palestinians.

He also asserted that foreign powers have no right to push Israeli government to accept the US, French or Saudi peace initiatives.

What Quarrey hated to tell the delegate that Israel would never listen to a world power as long as she is protected by America’s veto power at the UN Security Council. Washington has used its veto to shield Israel’s crimes 39 times between 1972-2005.

Commenting on UK leaving European Union, Quarrey said that no matter what Britain will always be Israel’s friend.

David Quarrey is not only Jewish but also openly gay. His live-in partner is Aldo Henriquez.

One other consequence of the destruction of Libya was the murder of some 38 middle-aged holidaymakers, including 30 Brits, on a Tunisian tourist beach – the killer was trained in Libya.

    @Anonymous Nephew

    Anonymous Nephew,

The forthcoming Trump Administration will earn our eternal gratitude if it does not embark into any future Libyan-type fiasco/failures.

I’m cautiously hoping this to be the case, since the only thing that Trump has been consistent about has been his policy to reach agreement with Putin and as a corollary to stop fatuous American nation-building.

Only time will tell. Let’s see what happens. Hoping for the best, but perhaps expecting the worst!
