I live on several acres about an hour’s drive from a medium-sized city in America’s Outback, that sparsely populated region between the 100th meridian and the Sierra Nevada. I use a satellite dish for internet service. I drive to said city once every seven to ten days for groceries and other supplies. I work from home a few hours a day, but otherwise spend my time attending to my property. I hunt every autumn to fill my freezer. My neighbors are White and live similar lives. We in this “rural residential” neighborhood gather several times a year to exchange news and help each other out. We also keep an eye out for each other — trespassers have become a growing problem since the pandemic.

I go for months without seeing a black. Spics, however, are a growing presence.

This relative isolation is very different from my younger days living in and near several of the country’s major population areas, and working and travelling on three continents.

Many Whites could not live like I (and you) do — they desire theaters and burger joints and pizza parlors and other distractions. Fine. I understand. Find a White community with those things. Most of the medium-sized and smaller cities in this country are still majority White. We need to Balkanize to survive.
