  • They need Russia to be an enemy to justify their actions and the Europeans want to use the US to threaten Russia. Its a shame this can’t be generalized against all foreign agents of influence. The US Mainstream Media is basically an arm of the Hasbara. Their guest from think tanks are foreign agents of influence. Its not fun watching a bunch of foreigners and their domestic owned Americans run the US Empire into the ground.

Is not all this noise about Rooskies has one and only one goal - to divert attention from the "gorilla" and her "struggle for survival" in the Middle East and in the US Congress? https://theintercept.com/2017/10/09/an-al-jazeera-reporter-went-undercover-with-the-pro-israel-lobby-in-washington/

The four-part series, “The Lobby,” dug into the Israeli embassy in London, as well as several other pro-Israel lobby groups, and their campaign to “take down” British Foreign Office Minister Sir Alan Duncan. The investigation led to the resignation of a top Israeli official in London, as well as a high-profile complaint that Al Jazeera had broken broadcasting regulations in the United Kingdom. One of the complaints charged the investigation with anti-Semitism, but the government board ruled that imputing such a motive to a film critical of Israel would be akin to calling a series on gang violence racist. ...
Ofcom received complaints about the series from pro-Israel British activists and a former Israel embassy employee. It dismissed all charges, which included anti-Semitism, bias, unfair editing, and the infringement of privacy. It ruled that as per the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s guidance: “It did not consider that such a critical analysis of the actions of a foreign state constituted anti-Semitism, particularly as the overall focus of the programme was to examine whether the State of Israel was acting in a manner that would be expected of other democratic nations.”

I also don’t care about the AltRight which is a bunch of whites like Richard Spencer who want a white Israel and join the stupid identity politics of Al Sharpton even though they have ever right to do so. Replies: @Anon-og, @Johnny F. Ive

This is off topic but I’ll bite. I’m an Independent and I have never been anything else. All identity politics is a scam which to divide the herd and keep them from the levers of power. Blacks are rootless former slaves. Al Sharpton is just a scam artist and all lives matter except for Al Qaeda’s. Blacks have lost their culture and their native languages just like most whites in America. Blacks don’t know their ancestral religions. Whites aren’t conserving anything. They are leaving Christianity and let their countries be destroyed. Its ridiculous too considering whites killed their own in their own homeland for centuries. They’ve lost their appetite for it after World War II. They then decided to import Wahhabi of all things into Europe. Blacks are still killing each other in Africa to this day. Hopefully someday soon we will learn who we really are with accurate DNA ethnicity testing. I bet many whites have some African DNA. Then people can pretend to get their heritage back and crack a book on their ancestral native tongue. I know many of my ancestors came from the British Isles in the 17th and 18th century. Every male ancestor I come across fought the British. I’m using the same language my ancestors did hundreds of years ago in Virginia and Britain. I have roots. I have a history that goes back but I have no tribal affection to Britain. Other Whites and blacks adopted my language and culture. We read American & British literature not German or French. Our music and entertainment is mostly from the English speaking world. The only issue I have is lack of assimilation of Hispanics and groups like the Jews and Cubans not letting go of their foreign attachments. Everyone needs to assimilate, learn English, drop their foreign attachments, and get along. People who are race obsessed tend to be crazy from my personal experience just look at the Neocons. They are called crazy for a reason. The more pro-Israel someone is the more insane they are. I have no use for these people. The more Zionist Jews become the more stupid they are and more hateful they become.

American whites may have abandoned their native culture but one thing all Whites have in common is abandoning their heritage for a new cult like Christianity and then abandoning it for something else. Rod Dreher laments about this. It was just a passing fad. Celtic civilization disappeared. Western people lost their indigenous culture which I think is a shame. We still have some old Norse though. I think what comes next will be a reaction to the Wahhabi they let into their countries. Whites were ignorant of their own western heritage but were allowed to reclaim it thanks to Islamic scholars who preserved it for them. Where would we be without ancient Greek and Roman text? We would be a bunch of Rod Drehers. I doubt we would be a first world country without that ancient knowledge which whites had ditched for an oriental fairy tale of all things. Our civilization flourished after that ancient knowledge was reacquired. Our government is not based on Christianity but Rome and Athens. Seriously who would pick a Catholic puppet government over the United States?

That is how your article genuinely appeared to some folks, although your points about what you meant and wrote are I will accept accurate. I'm not going to be praising TAC for this. I'm glad you're upset it was taken the wrong way. What I described is the connotation that could be taken by those inclined to do so, especially in the context of the rabid anti-semitic posts praising that interpretation. I guess they didn't get it, either. Thus I respectfully submit that it would have been wiser for the sake of accurately reaching the reader to have added or used the better worded clarifying language you yourself suggested. It does seem we share some of the same concerns of our Jewish allies you mention.

I'm too far from Washington to be infected with Potomac Fever. Things get warped inside that bubble and what inmates there think crazy is a case of them trying to run an asylum where down is up.

I agree with Fran that the article could be taken the wrong way. It could have used a qualifier “few American Jews” throughout it. The crazy Christian Zionist doomsday cult should have been brought up with its numerous aging adherents. There are a lot of people that get on TV that should have a warning label due to their disloyalty and affections for at least foreign money like the experts from think tanks. Anyone taken foreign money or have close relations with foreign governments should not be working for them in the government. It wasn’t broad enough so it looked like American Jews are being targeted specifically. They are clearly the most powerful group but they aren’t the only ones. It gives American Jews encouragement to keep their silly beliefs instead of assimilate if they feel threatened as a whole which we don’t want. We want ethnicity to be interesting heritage that someone has and not something important. People are marrying out of the tribe. We are becoming more secular so the fairy tales are losing their grip on new generations of Americans. Its just not happening fast enough.

Then again Philip Giraldi wouldn’t be Philip Giraldi if he didn’t express his feelings and thoughts exactly as he has them. What he said was accurate and true. Can you imagine Michael Scheuer not writing passionately about armed insurrection and watering the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants? A careful dry academic style like Paul Pillar would get the job done but it wouldn’t be as provocative but it would have a better chance of slipping through the censors.

These are the facts. There is no Jew opposition to bad Jews. Jews are most threatened by other Jews. Little Jews fear Big Jews.

Clearly - Big Jews are coercing our government and our culture - if a large segment of American Jews do not publicly speak out in opposition - then they will be lumped in with the bad ones.

  • @Philip Giraldi Instead of a recantation explain why you are so damn mad. Its about how these Israel-firsters are seriously damaging the US isn’t it? The behavior of this Jewish minority has consequences so maybe explain the end result which is the destruction of American life, American way of life, and American power.

Why should Americans care that their country is being annihilated by foreign interest groups? How does it affect them? What is the prognosis? Why should Americans care about a war with Iran? Iran can’t hit the US. We are safe unless Michael Scheuer was right in an interview with RT several years ago and that there are Iranian sleeper cells in the US ready to retaliate thanks to our lax border security. Why should self-absorbed Americans care about how Israel affects America’s relations with the rest of the Middle East which makes Israel look good? Why should Americans care about what happens to American soldiers or the people they fight on behalf of Israel? The US has very few terrorist attacks. Many of these things do not have any direct connection with the quality of life of each and every American except for the Iranian sleeper cell argument. Americans will go shop and Disney World after the war with Iran is started on behalf of Israel and Saudi interest. Nothing will change for the majority of them. Why should an American care since there are no visible consequences for themselves with the wars in the Middle East? The US is 20 trillion in debt and rising. Its still the world’s hegemon. Life in American was the same before and after the US reached that milestone. It was the same after Trump’s surge in Afghanistan. It is the same with the war in Yemen. 9/11 changed the American way of life but Americans accepted it.

What do self-absorbed Americans get if they turn on this minority of Jews? Whats in it for them personally?

  • Good article. American Conservative is Israel occupied territory and is anti-Trump near the level of Russia-gate fanatics.

The bloodthirsty and powerful Jewish minority has two problems though:
    1. China doesn’t care about its stupid narcissistic fairy tales and it very well maybe the next global power because this Jewish minority is killing its host.

    2. I think enough Americans have figured it out that they should be concerned. You can go to comments sections all over the internet and people are talking about this issue. It is a remarkable sight to behold and yet they calmly continue to push the US into war. All this Jewish minority has is craven Christians who want the world to end which ends badly for the Jews and be blessed by God for supporting Israel, bought and paid for politicians, and people scared of their power. They really must miss being persecuted like in the Middle Ages. People are getting turned off by this increasingly unpleasant Ethnic Democracy & Apartheid State based on poll data.

Russia-gate is a gift in a way. It is about a foreign government that is interfering in American politics. The problem is how to generate enough hate for all foreign government interference in American politics. They are America’s biggest existential threat. They create the policy along with corporations. Then Israel will be one of many evil regimes that are sucking the life out of America, stealing from us, and trying to get us to fight its enemies for them. Lets hate them all and call them all out for screwing us over like Trump does. The Saudis have bought off Americans in an attempt to get out of being sued for 9/11. Trump doesn’t ban countries where actual terrorist who have attacked the US have come from. At least he supported putting Qatar in its place despite its cheerleaders at the American Conservative. The American Conservative bragged about Qatar helping in Libya. What are they on over there? They are probably a bunch of closet Al Qaeda sympathizers.

  • I agree with most of this article. Al Qaeda had help inside the US for sure and there was a cover up at the highest levels, but the debris that could be used to test the demolition theory was removed quickly without analysis to China.

The lowest order of social organization is the band society. Historically they would war against each other. Chimpanzees war against each other. This a hominidae problem at least. Also human society favors narcissist and psychopaths for leaders. The psychopaths lie the US into war for their objective. Narcissist do it because they want to feel good about murdering people so they lie to themselves. This won’t stop unless these groups of people are screened and prevented from reaching positions of power.

Afghanistan is a disgusting society run by pedophiles. I’m not sympathetic to their way of life. The Taliban at least tried to stop the practice. I would be disappointed if the Iraqis didn’t miss secularism. The Syrians are fighting for their very lives to live in a secular society.

Modern US is an Empire that is ruled by finance, corporations, and foreign governments such as Israel. The description of the whore of Babylon in the book of Revelations fits Washington D.C. to a T. The internet has documented its crimes and corruption for all to see. The US Empire is not completely incoherent because there are servants in it that are rational and pushing back. It is why the war with Iran has been delayed. The US under Obama sought to use Al Qaeda in Libya and Syria. President Trump stopped the support of Al Qaeda in Syria, and challenged the Muslim world to stop using terrorism to solve its problems. Afghanistan war is prolonged but negotiating with the Taliban is an option which is something George W. Bush rejected.

The American Empire is a hit-man for the well connected, including governments. President Trump has shown interest in having them fund the American Empire since its broke, they do receive some protection from it, but they themselves do not seem to want to fund it. Europe cries about Russia, Gulf States cry about Iran, and Asia cries about China. They are militarily occupied but the American people suffer the expense.

American Imperium has and does great evil but its a pagan society which is pretty tolerant if you are within its domain with a favorable status. I think those that adopted a pagan capitalist society are at least living comfortably for the most part. I do think a free pagan society is the highest form of human civilization. It is true the US has allied with some nasty belief systems like Nazis, Wahhabist, etc. It will be interesting to see how things pan out once China takes America’s place since it is hostile to religion. Americans have been brainwashed into thinking that the US must be a global policeman and that its poop doesn’t stink. There are those that think other nations poop doesn’t stink. All of the poop stinks.

The US will decline and will have to give up the Empire unless it figures out a sustainable course, rejects perpetual war in favor of being a counterbalance just from its presence. It also would have to reorient the military industrial complex towards something profitable outside of war profiteering. The US Empire may be replaced with the Chinese one road, one belt project. The US is at a crossroads. We got an Iran deal which is in jeopardy but its amazing that it was made in the first place. In Syria the US hasn’t started World War 3 on behalf of Al Qaeda. The internet is clearly having an affect on the American Empire. It is why there is a rush to censor it. No longer can evil human beings misuse power without everyone else finding out about it. They can’t control the information from reaching the rest of the world now. They will try and people will get around it. The American Empire has a huge bureaucracy and there are a lot of moral human beings in it. The US political class has other problems: it hasn’t won a war since World War II, and economic inequality is having its negative effect on the American people. We got Trump instead of Hillary because half the nation realized the US is in bad shape.

Maybe he wouldn’t look at it but what if he ever did and it opened some questions for him? The people who tweet to him tend to be obnoxious and insane from the fake news they’ve ingested. We know through Patrick Cockburn that the UK has aided Libyan terrorist living inside the UK and was well aware of the concept of blowback. If people want change then they need to demand the heads of the people who have aided these people inside the UK government.

I have read that the US security agencies were asking Intel to provide a hardware backdoor on their Pentium chips. You could have some special combination of input signals that are not ever normally used that trigger an event like an interrupt in the processor. The original 8086 was microcoded - that is the more complex instructions (like divide) were actually a subroutine of simpler instructions. A similar scheme could be utilized - part of the space normally used for the cache memory could be a subroutine that gets executed on those explicit input signals. There are a lot of ways control of the CPU can be redirected to some function the NSA has hidden in the computer or downloaded to the memory without your knowing.

  • The Renaissance was a result of Europe being reacquainted with classical knowledge on the dime of the Medici. Before that time there was a period called the Dark Age that was ruled by Christianity. The Christian Church was against knowledge at the time of the Renaissance. They went full ISIS with something called an inquisition. The Renaissance gave way to the Enlightenment and the present West. Also Protestantism is a result of the Medici. The Medici pope and the indulgence scam ticked off Martin Luther and started a religious schism.

There are Christians who contributed many great things to the world but much of it was a result of earlier European knowledge and thought which they had access to. Christianity would be a positive in the West if it could be detached from its crazed land hungry father and violently insane brother.

You would probably be surprised if someone told you that the 'Dark Ages' knew three 'Renaissances' before the Medici's 'Renaissance': the Carolingian Renaissance (8th and 9th centuries), Ottonian Renaissance (10th century) and the Renaissance of the 12th century, all three characterized by significant cultural renewal right across medieval Western Europe and all under the patronage of the Church. All in search of the the European earlier knowledge (obscured perhaps, but never lost).

  • What if the US Empire was financially bankrupted? How would it behave afterwards? I think it will end with military overstretch and bankruptcy or nuclear war. One or the other. Its sad that all this suffering is a tribal war. On man’s way to civilization he forgot to leave that behind. Would the US behave after bankruptcy like the Soviets did after losing in Afghanistan or is the US going to be even more like a huge North Korea? Besides Israel there is the manipulations of other countries like the Europeans.

I agree Trump is very concerned about appearance and that makes him weak. He like the rest of the American Establishment is like Narcissus and in their pond the Empire is reflected back at them. They won’t let go of it.

I disagree that the American people vote against war. The American people have had plenty of chances. They’ve had chances to turn the world’s fortunes around plenty of times with Pat Buchanan, Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Ralph Nader. That pretty much covers the whole ideological spectrum except the neocons. The American people have consistently voted for war at least since 1992. They had these men who ran for president in order to save us all and the were consistently rejected by the electorate. Its not just the government. Its the 4th estate. The corporations. I’m now a pessimist. War will come and it will fail. The question is who will the Empire wage war against and who will survive the war?

Is Pauline Christianity legitimate? The problem with it has always been that it was built on a tribal story. A lot of good came from it. It was used to justify some bad things too. Its origins are not the classical world. That is probably why the alt-right has a fascination with modern pseudo-pagan religions. I think the real story is that the Ancient Greeks particularly the Epicureans have won the argument:
https://www.csun.edu/~hcfll004/Stoic-Epic-comp.html – these ideas are older than Christianity.

The AngloZionist tribe is now considered what the Catholics considered the pagans were. The word paganus means hick. Pagan now means new age and Christian in the West means hick. The AngloZionist don’t even like them but require their obedience and support. Perhaps its only a matter of time before the Judeo-Christian fairy tail loses its political power and just becomes good literature. It has no hope especially with the transhumanist wonders about to bequeathed to the world. It can’t compete. They avoided the truth for about 2000 years and couldn’t develop a convincing response against Epicureanism. Genesis is the best they could muster against natural selection after thousands of years of knowing about it? Epikoros (Hebrew for heretic) in the end won! But the US Empire has an unhealthy appetite of playing chicken with nuclear powers and western Judeo-Christianity will not go peacefully into the night.

    Epikoros (Hebrew for heretic)

A little more background info on the origins of the term Epikoros:

The Rabbinic literature uses merely the term Epikoros, without a specific reference to the Greek philosopher Epicurus, yet it is apparent that the term is derived from the Greek philosopher's name, a philosopher whose views contradicted Jewish scripture, the strictly monotheistic conception of God in Judaism and the Jewish belief in the world to come.

  • The US media should have learned something about the Iraq war, but it still hasn’t. It blindly supports every stupid foreign policy decision wrapped in humanitarian clothes while being unwilling to honestly tell the American people that its a proxy war where all the actors in it are evil. That no one knows for sure what happened because it wasn’t investigated. The media in Russia may be a tool of the Kremlin but the US media is the tool of the war profiteers. There is no way to get around that no matter how Rutenberg tries to frame it around what he thinks is the correct opinion.

Also VIPS had American intelligence contacts in the Middle East who said the Syrians hit something that had chemicals in it. Everyone has their anonymous intelligence sources. Assad isn’t going anywhere there could have been a proper investigation. The US media salivated at the bombing of Syria. The US media is the American Empire’s id. It tells it to do stupid stuff that is going to get it killed. The US media loves to play nuclear chicken with Russia. I suppose psychopaths need a lot of stimulation and what could be more stimulating than a risk of nuclear war.

If the US media was doing its job it would not just be after Trump’s relationship with Russia. It would be after the whole American establishments cozy relationship with Israel and Saudi Arabia. They’ve turned the US into a banana empire. Of course the US media is tied to weapons producers and Israel gets a welfare check to buy American arms and Saudi Arabia buys American arms. Also Israel no matter what it does is protected because of guilt (which will be its undoing because its bad behavior is not being checked). If Russia bought American arms I bet the US media would love Putin. The US media then would take it upon themselves to support Putin against his enemies.

Israel wants the Syrian war to go on forever. The Saudi and Iranian proxies aren’t saints. There are no good guys yet removing Assad is the preferred outcome for the US media. Its irrational unless you realize who its working for. Its not the American people. Its not even working to keep the US Empire in a position of strength. It demands obedience to the whims of the Empire’s global subjects and its domestic war industry. That is what this Russian crap was about Trump. Maybe they tried to interfere. People were going to vote the way they voted anyway because Trump struck an emotional cord with his larger than life personality and the Democrats conspired against the candidate that could have beaten him (Bernie) while making sure no one that could win would run for the Democrat nomination. Also the Israelis are right wing and they get away with stuff the Alt-right could never get away with in the US (and I hope wouldn’t want to engage in). What they do to the Palestinians is straight out of Nazi Germany before the holocaust (which is coming for the Palestinians). They loved Trump and voted for him. US media doesn’t make a big deal about this. Any reporter who did would risk losing their job.

The good thing about the US corporate media is that it is being put behind paywalls. I just use software to block these sites so I don’t even bother wasting my time by clicking and then having to click back. I get “the line” from sources not behind a paywall. Only an idiot would pay to be lied to on behalf of groups that do not have the US interest at heart. By being whores for war profiteers and their global allies the US media makes Russian government controlled media seem great in comparison. There is no reason why the US should be a whore for unsavory governments and organizations across the world. Its 20 trillion in debt and the US media uses verbal abuse and praise to manipulate the President into making war, while framing the war into simplistic and cartoonish terms. There are some that are extremely wealthy. The Europeans could handle their own security but manipulating the US to do it is easy because of the US media and easily malleable politicians.

How about the US media find some poor defenseless country and harp up a war and bleed the US Empire dry of its wealth in a fruitless quagmire and call it a day? Some of us do have a self preservation instinct and fighting Russia for the mess in Syria is stupid. If it was me I’d try to get the defense companies to focus on space and space mining. Whoever controls outer space will control humanity’s destiny. But go ahead bleed the US dry on these short sided money grabbing crusades so other countries can take over outer space instead.

Syria is a playground for proxies in the region. The US is Israel and the Gulf State’s psychopathic hit man. Anyone who wants to live should head to Western Europe if they haven’t already. If war with Russia occurs I hope the Gulf States and Israel are bombarded with Russian nukes. I would consider it a grave injustice if there was life still in those states. It looks like “Zionism” is strong with me. Russia and China would be destroyed too in WWIII. Then there is the nuclear winter the rest of the world would suffer. A higher cost will be paid if the US goes out in a nuclear war than bankruptcy. Maybe Osama Bin Laden’s plan of bankrupting the US wasn’t such a bad idea after all (who knew the whole entire American Establishment was that psychopathic and sought thrills through war with Russia?) if it did lead the US into having a more humble foreign policy. The question is can the US be bankrupted and what does it do afterwards? Was Osama Bin Laden correct in his analysis that it would turn tail and run home and become isolationist while tending to its economic wounds? The Shia Crescent would make a fine quagmire and is preferable to nuclear war. Nuclear war would start in the Shia Crescent if it was to occur at the moment (besides one in North Korea). Iran is probably a goner either way but nuclear war would be far more destructive. The end result in a bankruptcy would be the Salafi Jihadist backed by the Gulf States would run around in the Shia Crescent with death squads taking territory for their caliphate while fighting the survivors. That appears to be the plan anyway. Its what is going on wherever the Salafi Jihadist take camp.

I guess a counter argument could be that we cay pray, protest and maybe these soulless monsters will stop being soulless monsters. A problem with these soulless monsters is that their brain does not register fear correctly: https://youtu.be/mzUsaXfSQDY

    Video Link

Trump is the peace candidate. We were lucky to have him instead of Hillary. EXTREMELY LUCKY! Now Trump might be smart enough to not go after Iran. He seems to understand fear. He is not a psychopath like Hillary Clinton is. How about the rest of them? The Democrats are trying to get rid of one of their good representatives because she wants an investigation regarding the Syrian chemical attacks. They have this deep interest in provoking nuclear countries, pivoting into nuclear countries, getting in their business. Russia thinks the US is irrational and can’t be dealt with. There is no democratic solution to this and whoever thinks so is dreaming. Either way with democracy we have a choice between psychopath A or psychopath B. Who will win the election, a psychopath! Its not just the officials its the think tanks, its the media. The whole damn thing is one big psychopathic orgy of violence. They frame everything in such a way. I watched Dennis Kucinich talk reason while the interviewer kept on trying to frame the conversation around regime change. I don’t know why they chose to interview Kucinich when they really wanted someone on the left to come on and agree with them that the prospect of a lot of dead bodies is thrilling.

I’d like there be an alternative to war. Perhaps those senior officers Chalmers Johnson talked about are still around to stage a coup. Perhaps the Chinese can safely cash in their chips. Nuclear war is an unacceptable outcome. The American Establishment is now talking about small nuclear wars like there is such a thing. They completely left the reservation last year.

If people don’t like what I say then give me an alternative that doesn’t revolve around a nuclear holocaust, or failed appeals to humanity because the American Establishment no longer has the cognitive capacity to register anything that is recognizably human. Its unable to. They are physically unable to. Their brains are physically unable to register anything except blood lust. Anyone who believes otherwise is a fool.

"Current National Security Adviser Herbert Raymond “H. R.” McMaster is manipulating intelligence reports given to President Donald Trump, Cernovich Media can now report. McMaster is plotting how to sell a massive ground war in Syria to President Trump with the help of former CIA director and convicted David Petraeus, who mishandled classified information."

The idiocy does seem to point to David Petraeus. Michael Savage pointed to the generals surrounding Trump as well. People are attacking Kushner because he is Jewish and without proof its antisemitism. From the article:

“McMaster’s friends in the media, as part of a broader strategy to increase McMaster’s power, have claimed Jared Kushner and Bannon had a major falling out. In fact Kushner and Bannon are united in their opposition to McMaster’s plan.”

Well, as long as war with Iran doesn’t include nuclear Russia I wouldn’t mind the US be emptied of its treasury while trying for regime change in Tehran if it led to the end of the American Empire. I don’t want it to happen but while facing a nuclear war with Russia, a war with Iran doesn’t seem so bad. In fact, I think it is desired if it would bankrupt the US before our psychopathic leaders get into a war with Russia or China. Its a shame Afghanistan was not the Empire’s grave. It was a perfect spot, nothing there but pedophiles and opium. Neither would be missed. The Shia Crescent may be the real grave of the American Empire. Anyone who values their lives in the Shia Crescent better start making their way to Western Europe now!

A war with Iran would be a safe way to bleed the US dry. American troops will die but our cities will not be nuked. Since there are no insiders willing to do a coup this is the best outcome.

The irony is that Android smartphones and enterprise Linux use SeLinux which was developed by the NSA but the code can be viewed and changed by anyone.

This still leaves the risk that subtle vulnerabilities could be hiding in plain sight, and/or that system security is undermined by insecure hardware protocols such as USB.

One of the biggest vulnerabilities affects the generation of "random" numbers for purposes of encryption. If the "random number generator" has been crippled subtly by the NSA or CIA, then it will be much easier than users expect to break the resulting encryption of messages and files.

    Replies: @Johnny F. Ive

I agree! They’ve done that already in regard to RSA.

The Linux kernels biggest problem is the vulnerabilities hiding in plain sight. That is why its a shame Wikileaks didn’t dump all the info on the Linux kernel. We are less safe because of that. They should at least report every vulnerability out in the open for it and the BSDs. A release would cause quite a fuss and that would be a good thing. The lack of transparency bothers me. It contradicts the open source spirit.

  • I hope someday a raspberry pi like smartphone phone can be made so that people can have total control of the operating system. The cellular phone companies have put all their users at risk in the name of profits in their closed ecosystem. Linux is free but it has bugs which are fixed daily. If they don’t update Android then they like companies that profit from the internet of things, allowing mischief to occur regardless if Google or Amazon put CIA backdoors in their products. If you aren’t using Snowden approved Tails OS for your desktop and laptop then your information could very well end up in some government’s hands. It might be a good idea to take an old PC and turn it into a router because routers rarely get firmware updates and new vulnerabilities are found everyday in the Linux kernel. Its free and unlike Windows 10 you don’t get unwanted ads and forced updates nor telemetry that could possibly be sent to some government. KDE is better than Windows 10 desktop.

The losers in all of this are American IT companies. Death by Empire. Whose going to trust them? This is another black eye for them after the Snowden revelations. Its like the US government and these companies want to lose consumer confidence. Open source is the best option. At least people have the option of viewing the source of the programs they install and are free to fork it and alter it. The irony is that Android smartphones and enterprise Linux use SeLinux which was developed by the NSA but the code can be viewed and changed by anyone. Who knows what is on Android phones? Does anyone trust them? At&t already gives our information to the US government. Why wouldn’t they insert stuff into the Android operating system? Android products aren’t updated. All those hacks will work for years because of that. Google can’t do anything about it even if they wanted to.

The funny part is that about half the internet runs on Linux and 99% of the top super computers do too but vulnerabilities in all these consumer devices using outdated Linux kernels due to laziness or government agencies will bring down the internet. An internet attack for the Guinness Book of World Records. Then we won’t have to worry about government spying because the whole global communication system will be down because of large botnets or maybe just ours in a cyberattack. The US Government is stupid. Its using these hacked and unsecure operating systems too. Its a strange policy to eat your own but thats what it is doing. There shouldn’t be an industry for exploiting these security flaws in American products. How can they be that stupid? American IT products will be as popular as American cars. They will need a bailout which means less money for the CIA. I doubt those microphone enabled spy devices are feeding information directly to the CIA (but I’m sure that they are datamining in the cloud for patterns and the information is probably more useful to the police/FBI), but it shows how this stuff shatters consumer confidence in American products. Consumers need total control of the firmware of their devices is the take away from all of this and if they don’t then they can only assume that whoever does has the power to use the device anyway they wish.

I’d rather Iran be America’s kaishakunin than a nuclear power. At least the Iranians don’t have nukes. They are adept at lying, its their Sophist Straussian heritage at work. The Sophist argue “might makes right” and America’s nuclear arsenal is very mighty indeed. • War with Iran is a very real possibility. I’ll take the Generals over the Neocons any and everyday of the week. I have no idea how much Iran backed the Shia militias in Iraq. There was so much propaganda and war drum beating over Iran’s nuclear program that it is hard to take serious anything said about Iran concerning the Iraq war. It is disturbing that they thought more fighting would solve the tensions caused by Saddam’s rule, de-Baathication, and differences between the citizens in the made up country called Iraq.

A war with Iran would be horrible but if the US cannot shed its imperial ways and stop doing stupid stuff then the economic impact of it is preferred to a nuclear holocaust with Russia or China. We may have only two choices. We can continue perpetual war forever (or economic collapse like Bin Laden wanted) against much weaker countries, or we can have a nuclear holocaust like Hillary Clinton wanted over something inconsequential to the US. Which do you prefer if you had to choose one? Those are the options.

The whole war on terror is a fraud. They never intended to fight it. Can you imagine fighting Nazi Germany by aiding it like the US does the Saudis? Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany would have loved the 21st century US. If WWII happened today the US would be attacking everyone but them while selling them arms to do evil against other people. 9/11 was our Pearl Harbor. Can you imagine if Pearl Harbor was treated the same as 9/11? About 16 years after and people are still trying to get justice against Saudi Arabia for 9/11. The war on terror was never meant to be won. It was meant to continue forever like they said. Its an incubator to test and develop new technologies like drones. The Israelis have the Palestinians to test weapons on. The US has unpopular spots in the Muslim world to do the same. If Japan and Germany after being defeated were treated like Iraq they would be a mess right now. If the US was serious there would be a “Wahabbist Directive” forced on the region where everything bad about Wahabbism would be removed.

    Replies: @Johnny F. Ive

Yes, there is no major difference between left and right besides some rhetoric. Do you have a source for Trump’s debt and his creditors?

Trump is going to and is supporting the Israeli-Saudi axis against Iran. Hopefully that doesn’t include nuclear war with Russia.

  • Donald Trump was always on Netanyahu’s side. I don’t see how anyone could see otherwise. He went on Israeli TV to campaign for the man. He actually has been more moderate towards the Israeli-Palestinian conflict than I expected he would be. He surprised me in a positive way by bringing up Israeli settlements. He has sounded like a typical American president begging Israel to behave and doing nothing to make Israel behave. Haley was a bad appointment but her reasoning on Israel is what I always expected from Trump.

Hillary offered us war with Russia with her no fly zone. How much would Obama’s signature foreign policy victory (the Iran deal) would have tied her hands I do not know. She showed a great deal of interest towards Russia. I do know that Trump always showed himself as a typical Republican on Iran. He campaigned for Netanyahu. The Israelis think he is on their settler’s state side. What I saw as the choice on November 8, 2016 was between near certain war with Russia and a likely war with Iran. I chose the latter. I was hoping he would stick it to the Saudis and Qataris. He supposed to make the Saudis pay us. They could start with the cost of the war on terror. Most of US will survive the coming bankruptcy if the very likely war with Iran happens. Nuclear weapons on the other hand are actually a serious threat compared to whatever Iran could conjure up.

After our Empire has grown hungry for a fight with a nuclear power in order to protect Al Qaeda and Neo-Nazis who overthrew their democratically elected government I’m starting to think maybe bankruptcy wouldn’t be such a bad thing for the US when the alternative is a nuclear holocaust. I don’t know if the US political class has a death wish or something but a mass nuclear suicide isn’t how I wanna leave this world.

I could imagine the grand bargain with the Russians would have them keep Crimea, end sanctions, calm things down in Europe, and the Israel-Saudi axis get their American benefactor into a quagmire in Iran on their behalf. Do the Israelis care about Russia beyond it getting in their way in the Middle East? I think the Neocons believe that there has to be an Empire because nature abhors a vacuum. They support Israel but they like to style themselves as the philosopher king’s (Sophist) of the American Empire. Trump has promised to be America first, but right behind Israel. They dislike the fact that Trump isn’t in everyone’s business and that he fired them from government. His pro-American nationalism (outside his Israeli-Saudi subservience) grates on them. They despise his more realist version of the American Empire. Where he recognizes spheres of influence the Neocons see land yet to be conquered and they don’t care about the consequences. What I don’t get is why isn’t Israel giving their agents in the US their marching orders to support Trump since President Trump may very well be the most pro-Israel president ever. For Bush it was for faith. For Trump its friendship and family.

  • I agree with much that is written. He has done what he has said to a degree. He has not appointed prominent neocons into office to the disappointment of the Washington Post. Its nice to see their dreams dashed. The wall has yet to be built so we will see if he keeps that one. He was always a big supporter of Netanyahu and he signaled repeatedly that he would be hostile to Iran. He is still those things but shockingly he criticized Israel on settlements.

Now for the Empire. The US like the Athenian (Empire) Delian League needs funding. Trump recognizes that the US cannot afford the Empire in its present setup so that is why he tells the Europeans to pay their share (which they haven’t been doing). He might feel more obligated to stick it to Russia if the Europeans stopped ripping the US off.

The most serious issue is that Trump has joined the Israeli-Saudi alliance against Iran and its allies. Israel wants the rest of the Middle East to be razed to the ground while Saudi Arabia wants all the Shia and their allies dead. Trump talks about “Radical Islam” but he is supporting it by supporting the Saudis and their policy in the Middle East. He hides this with promising to have concentration camps (or is it bases for Al Qaeda) in Syria for the refugees that he doesn’t want into the US. This sounds perfectly rational until one realizes that the safe zones in Syria are controlled by the Syrian government. However he says the terrorist sponsors (the Gulf States) are going to pay for these safe zones. He makes it sound like a good deal because someone else is going into debt for American imperial presence in Syria. He is continuing the policy of fighting the terrorist and supporting the terrorist sponsors. I wonder if the US is training the terrorist to fight a modern army by giving them experience through actual combat and supplying it with arms as the CIA has done. The Iraq war was a training ground for ISIS. I was hoping Trump would be hostile to the Gulf States for their support for terrorism. Why did he ally with them, letting them off the hook, and give Saudi Arabia arms to continue its massacre? That is a mystery to me. He continued the irrational war on (training) terror without a second thought. The Gulf States should have been in his ban.

Another question I have is is the Shia Crescent’s survival worth thermonuclear war for Russia and is its destruction worth thermonuclear war for Trump? Trump promised hostility towards Iran and he is fulfilling that promise. When/if the Iran war happens I wonder who is going to foot the bill and what will Russia do in response.

Obama didn’t completely use his wisdom to avoid war with Syria. The American people through Congress prevented him from going to war with Syria.

Trump is a Salafist terrorist supporter. He like the previous administrations is trying to control and nurture it. Yesterday it was in Afghan caves, today it controls Middle Eastern cities, and tomorrow a caliphate that controls the Sunni world with new acquired territory from places that had other religious groups that weren’t Salafist. There is no faux liberal nonsense out there that can hide the emperor’s nakedness now. BDS is the only way to peacefully end the Israeli occupation. America’s unconditional support for Israel has already done damage to American interest in the Middle East. I guess even the idiots among the Muslim population can see what the true policy of the US and Israel has always been concerning the Palestinians now thanks to Trump. Look, American Jews tend to get a great many things wrong. I should have said Western democracy. Yes, I think Israel should have the same immigration policy that their agents in the US have created here. They should face the same situation. They deserve it for how they have interfered in America. They’ve bullied the US, stole from the US, almost bankrupted it through wars, and made the US a pariah in the Middle East (and at times the world). I also think any other country that has used the US deserve whatever karma comes their way. What is good for the goose is good for the gander: https://youtu.be/lKDeyuM0-Og

Russia understand the US is out to make war profits. The US nurses adversaries, grows them in a garden, then spends a fortune to kill them. That is what it has done for at least the last 15 years. What is ISIS going to do to average Joe plutocrat? Nothing. The only thing average Joe plutocrat fears is a decrease in arms sells. One just has to look at imperial Japan to see what happens when the US gets serious. The reason Obama has changed war is because the enemy is so pathetic and weak they really can’t do anything to us. No American deaths no bad publicity. There is a threat of home grown terrorism via disaffected Muslims who seek to punish us for our foreign policy (but they don’t hit the oligarchy do they? No, average Joe plutocrat is safe.) and morons like Petraeus/Hillary Clinton who ally with Al Qaeda and their underlings who train and arm them. The US political establishment is allied with moderate head choppers when the US is at war with moderate head choppers. No one explains what a moderate head chopper is. We know they are with Al Qaeda and they can’t be separated from Al Qaeda. Perhaps there isn’t a nickels worth of difference between them and that is why. They all look and act the same. Do they hack in moderation? Yet no one serious argues that the US supporters of the head choppers should be tried for treason. They assume the American people are stupid and easily manipulated. The head choppers are a scary boogeyman that temporary replaced the Soviets and rogue states as the next big bad. Our greatest enemies are plutocrats who support terrorism and terrorist sponsoring states like Saudi Arabia and Qatar who help fund propaganda to keep the war machine humming with new targets to knock off. Obama let them down but all the noise indicates that Hillary Clinton will make a killing. She will be Queen of the head choppers!

I understand and agree with the coup thing, but in reality, numerous coups have occurred over the past 140 years. With the 1st and most important coup being Lincoln's 1861 invasion of the Southern States that effectively destroyed constitutional law. Which, in turn set the stage for several other government sponsored coups, such as the 1913, Federal Reserve Act during Christmas recess, JFK's 1963 assassination, and 9/11 being among the most important and most obvious. Not to mention several obvious Black Ops operations that have occurred since 9/11.

This article follows the lines drawn by yesterday Unz's.

Revusky-like attitudes, although undeniably passion-fueled, lead to little.

What people like you (and I have fallen for it too many times, too) fail to understand, Jonathan, is that your target is deeply consistently propagandized people who see their manipulators as absolutely trustworthy sources of information and you (plural) as an angry, petulant, outsider making strange claims.

Now, strange brings to stranger, and the reason why the same word means both "suspicious" and "foreigner" is because, well, the two ideas come together.

People will be suspicious of new views and ideas.
You have to grasp what it is like not to grasp something.
    Ever read Bernays?

    Replies: @Tom Welsh, @Wade, @Johnny F. Ive

I agree they are propagandized and they don’t have a frame of reference to understand where we are coming from. Besides appealing to their prejudices I don’t see how one could change their opinion besides providing them with documents made available to the public. I think the released DIA report on the West and the Gulf states supporting a Salafist Principality would be more easily to swallow than videos about 9/11 arguing that it was demolition. One thing the DIA report and Wikileaks material came from the beast itself.

I don’t think 9/11 was a coup. It was a new raison d’etre for our rulers. The coup happened a long time ago, during the cold war or before. The cold war ended and we had rogue states all over the place all of a sudden, and the US went to fight them to Pat Buchanan’s dismay.

  • There is no steel from the twin towers to examine. It was immediately shipped to China after the collapse.
“Steel was the structural material of the buildings. As such it was the most important evidence to preserve in order to puzzle out how the structures held up to the impacts and fires, but then disintegrated into rubble. Since the collapse of steel-framed skyscrapers due to fires is completely unprecedented, the steel should have been subjected to detailed analysis. So what did the authorities do with this key evidence of the vast crime and unprecedented engineering failure? They recycled it!”
    http://911research.wtc7.net/wtc/groundzero/cleanup.html

The government blew up the buildings angle shouldn’t be pursued. Clearly the deep state and Israel benefited from 9/11.

There are more documents out there to study if a leaker is inclined to release them to wikileaks: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/05/12/the-fbi-is-keeping-80-000-secret-files-on-the-saudis-and-9-11.html

The members of the Deep state could have very well known about the hijackers and their plot. The CIA knew two hijackers were in the US and withheld the data from the FBI. The same thing could be said about the Boston bombing. The Russians warned us. Mossad was shadowing hijackers. It could very well be that the bombers got support in high places and allowed to conduct their operation. I don’t know. I know as much about the machinery of such things as I do about the physics of why the buildings collapsed.

I think questioning 9/11 outside of documents like the 28 pages is a discrediting vocation for the one who does it. We have proof that the US backs Al Qaeda in the Middle East (Libya/Syria). We have proof that Saudis and Qataris finance it. We have proof that Israel provides Al Qaeda with healthcare. I don’t see why we need to have an evolution vs creationism debate on 9/11 when there is plenty of evidence that the threat was over-hyped and that there are Americans allied with the attackers now in very high places. I think people around Hillary are pragmatic and sociopathic like her. I think if 9/11 was an inside job it would have come from that cabal because they are Al Qaeda’s biggest supporters in Syria/Libya, believe might makes right, and are duplicitous enough to actually do this. Who is calling the shots? Obama and his generals don’t seem to be keen in helping Al Qaeda in Syria. Dempsey reportedly went behind his back to undermine the CIA and Al Qaeda in Syria. I have a hard time believing Obama is the orchestrator of all these machinations. There is ample proof that there are Americans at the very top and their underlings who have aided Al Qaeda and we are still at war with them. Perhaps we could talk a President Trump into it charging them with treason. They hate him. He hates them. The US needs a good political establishment enema. The thinktanks and institutions connected to foreign governments and the deep state should be cleansed of traitors.

  • Hillary Clinton’s policy to provoke nuclear war with Russia in order to protect Al Qaeda has me seriously considering voting for Donald Trump. Donald Trump is an imperfect messenger but he does get the crowd going. We probably won’t have another oligarch who puts forth issues Americans care about. They will be like the Clintons, whores for hire.

I hope Donald doesn’t go the Sarah Palin route. His army of poor whites are easily lied to. Palin and Huckabee still have them fooled. They maintain Israel’s grievances. They watch Fox News and absorb the prejudices and propaganda fed to them through it. They don’t hate on the rich white people who trickle up the economics but Hispanics for taking the jobs. This suites the rich white people fine. Trump is concerned about Hispanics (people who came here partially because they were screwed by rich white people with NAFTA/interventions) and not the rich white people who control the situation. It is one of his faults like his love for Netanyahu. The ruling class doesn’t like them or him. The government continues to expect them to take up arms but so far they have failed to do so. I agree mostly to that. I still think that all avenues have not been explored. We have learned that protests, evangelism against the deep state, and democracy do not work very well. If they can’t be enticed to pursue other profitable sources of income then there is no solution besides bankruptcy and someone else’s deep state out competes them, possibly reducing them and their empire to radioactive rubble.

  • Is there anyway to entice the Deep State to do something productive instead of war? Can they be paid a trillion dollar tribute annually to put solar panels on people’s houses in the US? How about space travel and resource gathering operations in space. I think that is the only way to deal with the current situation. We’ve tried elections. The people won’t go for someone who is pro-American. I have chosen my sides. I am pro-Israel and pro-Western civilization. You can have your Iran and your Muslims. You can have your wacky Sunnis and Shiites. You can have your mass murdering ISIS killing and raping the Christians of Iraq and Syria. Hillary will not be Israel friendly no matter how much she gets in US Jewish donor money so go vote for her. This is my advice to all you Israel obsessives.
DJT will be neutral on Israel to pro-Israel. Trump is more difficult to predict but he wants us out of the Middle East so this is not Israel helpful.

Sound criticism but I am always fascinated by the issue of Qaddafi's fate and how it is presented in this context.

Realists have a fine case that Qaddafi, a strategic pest for the US and a backer of terrorists in the 1980s, had become a useful if not indeed vital US client in more recent years, and arguably no more distasteful than his Islamist enemies. On those grounds, the Libyan war of Hillary was epically stupid in both conception and execution. The assumption that it would have a liberal outcome was incredible.

Hillary's subsequent posturing on the matter was disgusting from a civilized person and alleged stateswoman, befitting her fundamental unseriousness.

On the other hand, why so much moral outrage about how Qaddafi died? He seized power by usurpation and murder, and held it most of his life by torture and more murder. He was a player in a game whose rules he knew and had indeed largely written. Losing the game at last, he received the treatment that was always coming to him and which any of his domestic enemies who captured him was fully entitled to administer.

The victors should be above murdering someone in cold blood without due process and in such a savage manner. He was captured there was no need to do that. With all due respect, but the list of those deserving the death penalty for crimes deserving of the death penalty is long and Qaddafi was certainly not among the top ten of that list.

Sure, to some autodidact scholars of international laws, the number one on that list must be Dim Son and his Junker Cheney. The collective guilt of having exterminated large groups of human beings due to political goals - aka some wet dream new world order - makes Qaddafi appear like an altar boy of the roman catholic church.

Of course I am always eager to be corrected when 'wrong'. But the sheer number of casualties and so called 'collateral damage' wrought on Iraq and Afghanistan, together with the utter destruction of life preserving infra structure, counts in my book as a crime equal to that committed by the National Socialists in Germany. Of which only a selected few scapegoats were executed.

Also on the list is Obama for the continuation/expansion of the so called 'Kill-List' worthy to be compared to the atrocities perpetrated by Pinochet et al. While there are enough grounds to have B. Clinton and George join the party, the list is limited to the 21st Century alone. The number of U.S. citizens on that list is staggering though. Blair, Cameron, Sarkozy and Merkel belong as well before an international tribunal for war crimes.

No war crimes tribunal with death penalty - no reconciliation. And yes, one may add Erdogan, too for the crimes he already committed and those who will follow after the coup attempt.

Okay, forget the arbitrary number '10'. The 21st century already has a longer list of war criminals than that.

As always only an insignificant opinion.

I entirely agree about Hillary and any Americans who made comments like that. If they wanted to be quietly satisfied because they were alive in the 1980s, that would have been fine. If they had focused on American interests and thought, on the whole, Qaddafi 2.0 was better for those interests than Qaddafi 1.0 had been or than his enemies were, that would have been even better.

As for the Libyans, I must agree to disagree with you. It would have been laudable for them to hold him over for trial, but I can't condemn them for preferring a more gruesome revenge. I'm mainly making a 'live by the sword, die by the sword' argument. Qaddafi ruled in the way he preferred. That stores up a lot of vengeance and makes it ever more difficult to die peacefully in bed. He knew the price of losing his grip and was paid back what he had earned. Whether there was any need for them to do that to him is immaterial. They had earned the right.

    @Johnny F. Ive

The point is that, according to the US and Zio definition, a terrorist is anyone who shoots at US or Israeli soldiers. In the MSM, every now and then some US, British or Israeli general calls guerrilla opponents of his soldiers terrorists just because they shot back. Thus, the US, British and Israeli soldiers have been terrorized. The implication is that Usrael soldiers wet their pants out of terror when a guerrilla fighter shoots back at them.

Thus the new definition, terrorists are not those who terrorize civilians, such as the Paris attack, then anyone who challenges the US/British/Israeli interests.

ISIS is the creation of the Neocons when they fired the Iraqi government and put the Shia in power. It is the product of American intervention in Syria and Libya. • If a person is too lazy to look up what something means on the internet (I remember having to use those huge big dictionaries) then are they really going to put the effort into understanding what is being expressed?

  • There are a lot of expressions about standing up to bullies being the best policy. Unfortunately the White House has difficulty in following that sound advice when it comes to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his governing coalition of racists and thugs. And one might also add that the reticence also applies to dealing...

Cutoff all foreign and diplomatic and military aid to Israel, for real.

It is time to cut the tie that binds.

To cut the ties with Israel would require eliminating or breaking the Jewish national victim cult scheme that dominates United States politics.

CZ's are a tiny minority, and are a minor political base for conservative Jews in the US.

Israel is first and foremost a national victim cult, and it is dominated by both secular and conservative Jewish people.

Unsurprisingly, the national victim cult in the US is dominated by the ideology of Democrat party secular Jewish, and Republican party conservative Jewish.

Christian Zionists are aligned with conservative Judaism.

Many if not most CZ idiots are also victim cultists.

The American-Israeli victim cult scheme includes all these classes of people:

    women
    queers
    Jewish
    disabled
    Latino
    Arabs
    Asian
    afro-blacks
    military veterans
    native Americans

In particular, many women and afro-blacks and Latinos and Arabs and military veterans and disabled are both victim cultists and Christian Zionists.

Christian Zionist are not true Christians.

  • Would Israel’s military officers support the decision to bomb Iran if Netanyahu is given the toys required to effectively bomb Iran? Is it the feasibility that they protested or was it the stupidity of it all? There is nothing sadder than a whipped Empire. The Iran deal is a great accomplishment and what will the rest of the world do if Israel starts a war with Iran over false pretenses? Will they come to the aid of a state that is becoming more fascist as time goes on?

  • Last night’s FOX News GOP Presidential Debate Extravaganza featured the most riveting two minute political exchange ever heard on national television. During a brief colloquy between Republican frontrunner Donald Trump and Fox moderator Brett Baier, the pugnacious casino magnate revealed the appalling truth about the American political system, that the big money guys like Trump...
  • We all knew it was true but I like how Trump puts it all in perspective from the donor’s point of view. This goes to show we should ignore the puppets and look at who is pulling their strings. Donald Trump is by far the most honest Republican in the field this time around. I’m sure if he doesn’t win all of them will gladly take his money and do him favors once again if he asks.

What saddens me is that they are winning. The media campaign has successfully changed the statistics so that now a majority of Americans oppose the deal because they have been told on TV to do so!

The merchants of death want their war. It would be good for their businesses. I’d hate to be an ethnic group that is the public face of American militarism if the economy comes crashing down after the next president makes war with Iran. That is why AIPAC is hiding behind Citizens for a Nuclear Free Iran. They don’t want to reap the whirlwind. The war with Iran will go south and they don’t want to be blamed for it. The American public knows enough to buy into the propaganda but not enough to see through the violent children’s cartoon like arguments. Israel is the name of this violent cartoon show that sales wars not children’s toys. I saw a video asking people about the bill of rights and they were like “yeah its old, we should get rid of it.” Its why we are a Republic and not a democracy. Its a shame though that the ones who mostly do run things (the shadow government) have turned it into a casino and a hitman who works at his own expense. You’d think they could make enough from bombing all the other countries they are bombing. They greedily want to expand it to Tehran where there could be ground troops and those ground troops would need expensive resources brought to them by overpaid hucksters. Its a Halliburton, KBR and a Blackwater (whatever they call themselves now) dream. And Obama is trying to deny them their dream.

  • The deal between the US and Turkey which will allow American bombers to use Incirlik airbase while Turkey takes action against Islamic State (Isis) looks stranger and stranger. When first announced over a week ago, US officials spoke triumphantly of the agreement being “a game-changer” in the war against Isis. In fact, the war waged...
  • @Anonymous
The deal seems strange only of one ignores the possibility that US's primary goal os to promote wars. That makes for a growing market for weapons, its main export industry.

    Replies: @Johnny F. Ive

I agree. Also there is the Turkish lobby in the US and it has infiltrated the US government and political establishment according to Sibel Edmonds.

There is a lot of money to be made in militarism and ISIS is the perfect enemy. It can’t do serious damage to the US, its despicable, and it can be bombed perpetually.

  • From an interview in Vox: Ezra Klein: You said being a democratic socialist means a more international view. I think if you take global poverty that seriously, it leads you to conclusions that in the US are considered out of political bounds. • Bernie Sanders is sounding good to me so far. He understands that immigration is meant to drive down wages with trickle up economics. He is attacking the issue in a better way than Donald Trump (who seems to be the best candidate among the Republicans and the one with the most integrity). He lacks the baggage of someone on the right would have on this issue (of course they might dig something up on him). He has tied the issue solely on his opposition to the destructive impulses of neoliberalism. He also supports the Iran deal. I wonder how he will deal with our entrenched corporate welfare recipients that benefit from militarism. Surely he can find something better for them to do.

Agree that Trump appears to be the Republican candidate with the most integrity, but that's surely less a (happy) observation about Trump and more a (sad) observation about the Republican field.

He lacks the baggage of someone on the right would have on this issue...

No baggage? I think previous commenters have already covered that nicely.

    And from the article:

Think about what people who came from Europe did to the Native Americans, the atrocities committed. Think about the horrors of slavery. Think about what we did to the Asian folks that came to build the railroads and the Asian Exclusion Act. Think about discrimination against Italians, Irish, Jews, virtually everybody else who was not like the people who were here.

Nobody still peddling stale nation-of-immigrants butthurt is going to work for a sane immigration policy. They are what they are, and they just can't help themselves. "Comrades, we must continue the fight against the great enemy!" (Aka the people who created this nation.)

Unfortunately, all the other candidates in either party agree with him about who the Great Enemy is.
  • “It’s the beginning of the end for Donald Trump." • I had a neighbor from Vietnam. This person mentioned that their relatives said that they have seen these POW. They were described as “thin.” Perhaps being a compromised person is why McCain is such a sellout on every issue. I think Donald Trump should use his vast resources and find out the truth. I think Donald Trump should use his vast resources and find out the truth.

Not if he is serious about running for President. There is no way to score points on this. There are already too many people that don't like Trump over this, don't add to the list. Attack McCain on the fact that he is so in love with his "maverick" persona that he will tell any lie to stay in power like when he told people in Arizona that he "would build the damn fence already" and immediately became an amnesty monger when he was sworn in.

  • Dr. Ron Paul has written many books but I would highly recommend his latest, Swords into Plowshares: A Lifetime in Wartime and a Future of Peace and Prosperity, for those who are particularly interested in how his political views developed and what his assessment of today’s political landscape might be. As the title suggests, the...
  • NAFTA contributed to illegal immigration. American Agribusiness vs everyone else. Does anyone consider buying off the surveillance military police state industrial complex and use it for something useful like high speed rail across the country, desalination, and solar panels on buildings? The libertarian pipe dream died with Rand’s political ambitions. All the war profiteers and voyeurs need is another 9/11 to re-cement the gravy train their way. What would you have them do with all that tribute money borrowed from China? They are going to get it anyway until there is no more to get. It is either work with them and kiss their tail like Rand Paul and most of the other politicians, or be treated like Ron Paul. Would Lockheed Martin care if the same F-35 budget went to high speed rail or not if they ended up with the same profit? Do you think there is a carrot tasty enough to redirect them from this path, or are we going to be like Ron Paul and preach abstinence ignoring the fact that they are the profiteering equivalent of horny teenagers? Congress sees it as a jobs program. I think we need to stop emulating Israel and start emulating China when it comes to what is important (economic growth instead of militarism). Libertarians need to consider using psychology and slowly transform these parasites into prosperous businesses that do not require state socialism, asking these addicts to go cold turkey isn’t going to work.

The war on terror is easy pickings because the enemy isn’t going to doggy paddle across the Atlantic, and if they do get across to the other side the damage they could inflict is a scratch compared to what China and Russia would do. The Obama administration saved us from another war larger than Iraq that would have cost us trillions of dollars for nothing but human sacrifices for the Christian Zionist war god Netanyahu… I mean Yahweh and the Saudi King of Al Qaeda.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some war profiteers, political officials, and Saudis between smooches discussed how much fun they were going to have after 9/11. Could they not find Saudi Arabia on a map when Bush went after Al Qaeda and its supporters? Why isn’t Saudi Arabia leveled? They are the ones funding and spreading terrorism to all corners of the earth. The problem with the 9/11 truth movement is that they are more interested in proving through grainy videos how the building went down instead of demanding the 28 pages uncensored and then going from there. I wish someone would just wikileak it all. Surely someone has access to all the relevant material like Snowden did. They should make a copy of it, send it to wikileaks, take a trip to Russia, and let wikileaks protect them. Then the world can learn the truth behind 9/11.
