-So is access to handguns, often trafficked illegally from other states (Blaming the free states that respect their citizens’ rights for black violence and dysfunction and making a thinly veiled call for more gun control)

-Criminologists are still trying to parse out the role of the Covid-19 pandemic in the surge in violence. (“Da Rona be causing da bilence!”)

–They also are happening as the Black Lives Matter movement has forced questions about race, racism and the U.S. criminal justice system. (The white man’s racism is at fault. Because blacks acted like choirboys before George Floyd’s fatal Fentanyl overdose drove them to start slaughtering each other)

–“It’s a very small number of people causing this havoc on the East Side,” Lockwood said. “The vast majority of people are law abiding citizens.” (The vast majority of WHITE people, maybe.)

-“Or if there happens to be a party, they’ll show up there, and something seems to go wrong.” (Those damn guns start firing on their own again)

-It’s also established that a disproportionate percentage of people arrested are Black, both locally and nationally. (Notice that they are “arrested” not “responsible”. The implication is that they are being unfairly targeted by police. And if they aren’t directly implying that, the language is left intentionally vague so it can be inferred)

–Gunfire nearly every night (Not “black thugs firing guns nearly every night”)

So much parsing and deflection in this article. I’m not sure it is accurate to say that they “admitted” the truth.

A lot of semantics are involved in any discussion of “gun violence” statistics.

Serious studies of mass-shootings use a baseline of three or four persons killed in a single incident, and they typically don’t include incidents of family violence in a home or those that involve other criminal motivations (like drug deal revenge hits, etc). And it makes sense, because the general public isn’t concerned about those types of events the way they are about a true targeted public mass-shooting (even though you’re more likely to suffer a lightning strike than be killed in a mass-shooting).

This new group has expanded the definition to “four or more wounded”, without omitting the aforementioned family violence and drug-related crimes. Their intent is obvious: to dramatically drive up the numbers and generate more support for severe gun-control measures. But in doing so, they are inadvertently bringing more attention to the rampant black criminality that the media tries desperately hard to ignore.

It has been obvious for a long time when hearing a report about a “mass-shooting” whether it was a true targeted mass-killing or just TNB. “Fifteen Shot, One Dead” is a sure sign of a black shooter, who was probably holding his pistol sideways, squeezing his crotch and shouting “Whassup!” as he emptied his mag into a crowd of other blacks in front of a nightclub, before hopping into his Lincoln and making his escape. And the MSM has been happy to ignore those events because it makes their pets look bad.

Many of you have probably mentioned the statistics on black criminality in some public forum, only to receive some idiotic reply along the lines of “At least we don’t shoot up schools and churches”. Lumping these TNB incidents into the mass-shooting total will tend to undercut that argument…but at the cost of making the mass-shooting problem appear much worse than it actually is. Therefore, I think we should resist allowing these incidents to be included in any discussion of mass-shootings.

Besides, there have been plenty of legitimate mass-shootings committed by blacks (and other non-whites) that you can point out to counter the assertion that blacks don’t commit such crimes. These are easy to spot too: when a story breaks about a real mass-shooting and the MSM suddenly drops it after a day or two, it is because they found out the shooter was a POC (if the body-count is too high to ignore it completely, then they will shift the focus away from the shooter’s race as much as possible).

I have a list (with links) of forty-seven mass-shootings and spree-killings committed by blacks since the early 1970’s. And another twenty-nine committed by Hispanics, Asians and Amerindians. And I’m certain it isn’t an exhaustive list…

Of course it’s guns! Aka Firearms!

As I’ve pointed out elsewhere, the presence of a firearm does not cause suicidal ideations. Guns no more cause suicide than they cause murder. In both cases, guns are simply tools.

People aren’t generally concerned that they will kill themselves with a gun, but they usually are concerned that someone might kill them with one.

Here are the five US states with the highest rates of gun ownership (RGO), along with their rate of gun homicides (GH) per 100,000 people and the percentage of the state population that is black:

Alaska: RGO 61.7% – GH 2.7 (3.3% black)
Arkansas: RGO 57.9% – GH 3.2 (15.4% black)
Idaho: RGO 56.9% – GH 0.8 (0.7% black)
West Virginia: RGO 54.2% – GH 1.5 (3.4% black)
Wyoming: RGO 53.8% – GH 0.9 (0.8% black)

And here are the five states (+DC) with the highest rate of gun homicides (per 100,000) along with their rates of gun ownership and percentage of population that is black:

Wash DC: RGO 25.9% – GH 16.5 (50.7% black)
Louisiana: RGO 44.5% – GH 7.7 (32.5% black)
Missouri: RGO 27.1% GH 5.4 (11.7% black)
Maryland: RGO 20.7% – GH 5.1 (29.8% black)
Delaware: RGO 5.2% – GH 4.2 (21.4% black)
Michigan: RGO 28.8% – GH 4.2 (14.2% black)

Break it down further (at county and city levels) and watch the racial crime difference become even more stark…

Try as you will to ignore or deny it, the single best indicator of violent crime levels in an area is the percentage of the population that is black and Hispanic.

Time and again, Americans must look to British media for stories about black savagery.

For most, they must experience it first-hand to really appreciate the danger presented by blacks in numbers.

So your point is that we might as well live in Maryland instead of Oregon? Either be murdered in Maryland or commit suicide in Oregon? The danger is the same, right? 🤔😂

Maybe your experience is different, but I’ve yet to hear someone say, “I’m not moving there; the suicide rate is too high”.

The silliness of counting firearm suicides along with firearm murders when discussing gun policy is apparent to most people, but it is a convenient way for the anti-gun crowd to inflate the numbers.

The presence of a firearm does nothing to make a person suicidal. Likewise, an absence of firearms doesn’t lower suicidal impulses (ask the Japanese).
