In fact, their entire ammo selection consisted of just two calibers: 500 S&W Magnum, a revolver round that's so insanely powerful it often causes serious injuries to the shooters; and 30-40 Krag, the US military round during the Spanish American War, which hasn't been chambered in new rifles in 100+ years.

There is a solid case to be made for:
    -- Closing down immigration
-- Imposing stiff tariffs on imports of good and services

That would better balance the supply of workers to the amount of work.

There are plenty of people who would accept a modest life with a 32 hour work week (4x8). However, SJW Globalist multinationals will outsource that work if they can get away with it. Laws and regulations need to heavily penalize attempts at citizen replacement.

Unions do not work to protect Main Street citizens. Look at the damage SJW Globalists have done to citizen taxpayers via "public sector unions". Police are overpaid, and teachers are rewarded for many things other than teaching.

  • @TG
I'm not going to say that our police are perfect - in particular, I have serious issues with "prosecutorial discretion," and it seems madness to give local police departments military grade weapons to serve warrants for non-violent offenses. Still, they are far better than most of the world's policemen (when was the last time in the United States that a cop shook you down for a bribe, hm?). And certainly the notion that no police are better than our current police, is madness.

But, I don't think that the real goal is to actually "defund" the police. The main agenda is to deflect attention away from how this nation is being looted by the oligarchs, and as all those newly jobless people are evicted and denied medical care etc., to set the proles against each other. So "defunding the police" may just be a scheme to rile us all up, like transgender bathrooms. The sheer lunacy of it is in fact the main point.

But it is possible that there is another agenda - or more likely, that the elites won't let a crisis go to waste. If the regular "police" are defunded, there will still be security forces. They just won't be under the local control of the cities and counties. Maybe federal, maybe private security contractors, and I can tell you, if that happens, you will miss our present police a whole lot.

I read that the city council of Minneapolis has engaged a private security firm to ensure their security during the ongoing 'festivities'. Some things to note about these private security firms:
    - they will provide security only to the people that employ them and will not protect the public at large
    - I assure you, they will be a lot meaner and more aggressive than regular civilian police (at least, in general).
    - They will not be held to the same standards of behavior and professionalism as the regular civilian police (except insofar as combat arms tactics apply).
    - They will be more like a private army, enforcing the will of their specific employers, and less like police whose main task is upholding the law in general.

Minneapolis will soon be like Detroit, Oakland, Camden, Newark. Let it happen. It’s easy enough for small businesses to leave. Major companies just have to find new office space and move out of town. There’s even relocation services that move all the furniture and equipment, set up the WiFi etc in a weekend or 3 day holiday.

Look at Chicago metro. It’s still the FIRE capital of the Midwest but the businesses are 30 miles away from Chicago in safe suburbs

Gated communities in the ex-urbs will be more in demand than ever. Non-black people will want to flee in earnest after this.

Ah, but that is where your note makes one laugh. It's nobody's "our country", and I'm not mentioning the American Indians here. Empires are never someone's own country and they all get overrun early on. Macedonian Egypt, Rome, Byzance, Turkey, England, now us.

For some reason, they can’t build that better life in their own countries and need to come to ours, but it’s not because they’re as a group incompetent or anything...

That "some" reason is called Empire. That's the way it works. It globalizes, hoovers up their stuff, which necessarily is followed by their displaced people. Structural reasons make it so that early on they all were melting pots, then after the upscaling they all become a hodgepodge of cohabiting "nationalities" in cosmopolitan jungle metropolises. Only the stupid hope on laws and regulations to arrest big social phenomena on this scale. It's like trying to arrest the laws of nature, order the ocean to stop moving, Canute-like.

They also have a sense of superiority compared to Indians ‘back home’.

I wonder how much of this is true to Latinos as well. Imagine a campaign that claims they’ve ‘made it’ and they’re a cut above, because they ‘get’ what it means to assimilate... and these virtues (no littering, no fighting, no breaking queues etc) means they’re more refined / superior to their ill-mannered brethren back home.

this stuff wouldn't be an issue if old rock bands like KISS and Def Leppard hadn't figured out that by re-recording stuff, you could:

    1) cut out old band members who have writing credits to material from 30 or 40 years ago, but haven't been in the band for 20 or 30 years. re-record the tracks without them, then pull all the original tracks, and bam, you don't have to pay those guys you fired decades ago any royalties anymore.

    2) getting back at record companies and old recording contracts via the same mechanism.

it's less clear whether 1 or 2 was the main impetus for serious bands to start doing this stuff. the KISS guys in particular were exceptionally vindictive, and really wanted all the old KISS members cut out of the royalties forever.

this stuff goes back into the 00s, so Taylor Swift is like 12 years behind here, but i assume the idea has spread to most musicians with a big, valuable back catalog.

i'm under the impression that musical rights come up for sale periodically, which is famously how Michael Jackson purchased all the Beatles material out from under Paul McCartney. i don't know what the various rules and laws are today however. times changes, laws change. you used to be able to sample anything with impunity, which is how the Beastie Boys were able to raid 20 years of hard rock record to make License To Ill. the laws were changed after that so that they couldn't just steal every AC/DC song and rap over it and sell 4 million units, and Beastie Boys sales predictably dropped like 70% when they had to write their own music.

"Drug dependency and addiction affects all classes in society but heroin addiction, in particular, is primarily devastating working-class communities. The main contributory factor for substance abuse is the poverty, alienation and abusive nature of capitalism. Until this is eradicated there always will be people trying to escape the misery that capitalism causes. It is no accident that the communities worst affected by legal and illegal drugs are the most deprived working-class areas plagued by poverty, unemployment, a lack of facilities, overcrowded schools, crime, etc. However, we do have a responsibility to fight for more immediate measures that can alleviate the problems in working-class communities. The approach of successive governments has been to deal with illicit drug taking as a law enforcement issue. This has failed miserably. Drug abuse will remain a fact of life until we successfully change society into one where the economy can be planned and run in the interests of people not profit, where young people can enjoy a future free from poverty, with access to free education, good jobs and wages, and decent, affordable accommodation. Therefore, we have to link the campaign for socialist change to a fight for more harm-reduction measures. The only way of achieving this is to tackle drug abuse as a health issue."

"Anyway, like I’ve been saying for years, the White Death of the 21st Century is pretty reminiscent of American Indians and of Russians in the 1990s: defeated peoples."

Another false premise, Mr. Sailer. American whites are not "defeated peoples", as evident by their high IQ's and high time preferences. And, of course, you offer an apples to oranges comparison--American Indians back then were systematically exterminated by Europeans for their land and resources. American whites today are not experiencing that specific course of action.

The shooter is an idiot, and there's consequences for that. A man is dead and he's going to jail. It's how our justice system works. He doesn't get to explain his way out of it. The shooter initiated the confrontation, and when the attack ended, he should have stood down, instead he fired. Enforcement of the law wasn't his job, and you don't get to shoot someone because they pushed you down.

"I was in fear for my life" element of the shooting was removed when the attacker began to move away from the shooter. At that point, it became an unjustifiable shooting.

Blacks are notorious for parking in handicap and just last week I saw one do it at Walgreens. The first crime was committed by McGlockton when he violently shoved Drejka to the ground and committed felony assault.

At that point Drejka was perfectly reasonable to believe he was in danger of great bodily harm. When you’ve just been shoved to the ground and your attacker backs up maybe one or two steps but is still standing menacingly over you you are in fight or flight mode.

The softer and more lenient you are towards Negroes, the more violent and criminal they will become. This is why African chiefs are quite harsh. The faster whites learn this lesson, the better.

It's funny how one of the left's favorite slurs against their white enemies (inbred) is far more true of their most favored demographic group (Muslims).

I know an Iraqi whose wife wants to marry his kids to their cousins. He and his wife are well aware of the dangers (she is a physician), but they figure the payoff is worth it, especially because of the chaotic sexual marketplace of the West.

They are horrified by the idea of their daughter mating with a negro and their sons being dispossessed by divorce. These things are unthinkable in Iraq, but they are hyperaware of these threats here, and it only reinforces the cultural tendency that already exists back home.

Upper middle class whites live in similar fear. Wouldn't surprise me if white liberals started thinking about consanguinous marriage as a solution as well. In certain environments it's a rational response to social realities. Sure, it's weird, but if preserving social status is paramount, people will do weird things.

End result: We billed through the Indian owned company which then marked up our pricing. They did nothing for what they earned on this other than act as the middleman for the billing. The Pharma company paid more for the work, but got to look like a good corporate citizen that could say they used minority contractors. I became a Libertarian after this.

One interesting thing I noted in addition to everything posted: in California, a lot of gun shooting ranges are owned by Filipino-Americans. Depends on the country. Ethnic Chinese in Thailand are all monolingual in Thai, whereas it isn't hard to find Chinese in Malaysia who speak only basic Malay, when they do at all.

But the United States, that's pretty much always been the case. Some ethnic groups lost their language faster than others, but everybody ended up defaulting to English with time. Not necessarily against their will, either: as Ron as noted, some of the most fanatical resistance to dual language education in 1990s California came from Spanish-speaking immigrant parents. They did not want their kids to be condemned to the same lives of menial labor that they were just so bien-pensants could feel good about themselves.

More political analysis of Joker from Jim Goad:

Maybe I was napping, but not once throughout the film do I remember it being made a point that Arthur is white. But over and over again it’s emphasized that he’s a victim of the strong, the sane, and the wealthy.

Even the fact that he’s an incel plays less of an integral role in his character than those depicted by Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver and King of Comedy. It’s clear that Arthur finally snaps after a society which has attempted to beat the life out of a mentally ill man forces him to start beating back. At bottom, it’s a social-justice morality tale.

There is no performance by any actor that will not seem tacky once you've grown sufficiently distant from it in either time or sentiment. You can notice this happening already to older films. To watch Casablanca or Citizen Kane today is to be greeted with what looks like an ensemble of caricatures. This does nothing to detract from their greatness; it just means that they have begun their retreat over the cultural horizon. There will come a day when even our most riveting performances will look as stylized and programmatical as Chinese opera and kabuki theater.

I've said before a lot of "hoochy mama women" will chase a rich or perhaps upper class married man with children and a marriage for an affair and what I call "bimbo tribute payments " aka money and gifts/ free dinners or trips etc for sex favors for said married man.

Usually after the wife finds out about said affair shes dumps his ass and takes the kids, house and 50% of assets. Angry husband then takes gun and blows said mistress's head off. That's why so many women want to use the courts to disarm men....and in particular white men. And that's why they rant about "domestic violence "....because many of them are homewreckers and or border line scam artists who use sex to fleece men of their cash & assets and in the opinion of many "have it coming " when their victim takes revenge.

Also. To a lesser degree high school gossips want to disarm nerds they ignore, insult and emasculate while parading around their looks and status. And when judgement day comes and john Q. Nerd brings his dads rifle to school to whack the bullies and Hussies who denigrated him, they want the cops to disarm him so he cant retaliate against them.

Your statement would be correct if not that the average Mexican family operate on a more personal level when it comes down to the Senior Members. The "Cheaper" price is being used by the most well to do people in society. We the average middle to upper middle class Mexicans, still go by our time honored tradition of taking care of our parents. Usually it's a shared experience, sometimes the single daughter stays with them or a caregiver hired for assistance, but most Mexicans will die at home surrounded by family members.
